Tayuya, Sakura thinks, is like a bright shade of cerise. Playful and kinky and lustful with a concealed soft side, unnoticed by most. Yes, she thinks, that describes the older kunoichi perfectly.
Tayuya thinks Sakura is everything she is not, from her sweet and kind disposition to her innocence, and she can't help but love the younger girl for that.
Sakura thinks Tayuya is everything she wants to be, from her strength and confidence to her honesty and frank-ness, and she can't help but admire the older girl for that.
And yeah, Sakura can be whiny and bratty, but Tayuya doesn't care, because Sakura's the only person who's never said she's a foul-mouthed bitch.
And maybe Tayuya can get violent sometimes, but Sakura doesn't mind, because it's never directed at her.
Tayuya is glad she's found someone who can accept her for who she is, not just her strength. Sakura is glad she's found someone to love, who loves her back.
And they're both thankful for that.
