It was a normal day at kadiac academy and lyoko was quiet.

A lone figure was wondering the virtual forest region. The figure seemed to stop and look round as if he was scanning the virtual sky for signs of life. After making sure nothing was there the boy looked down. He had silver eyes and hair making him look like a ghost, his lower arms had silver wrist guards that glimmered in the artificial sunlight. A sudden flutter wings was heard. The boys eye's sharpened as he turned round, three hornets approached him lasers blaring. He raised his arms to protect himself. The wrist guards he was wearing reflected the lasers back at the hornets making them explode. He then started to wander the forest region again.

Back at kadiac

The bell rang signalling the start of lessons. Odd Ulrich Jeremie and aelita headed to the science building, waving to yumi who was walking in the opposite direction towards her history classroom. When they arrived Mrs hertz did the register and handed the work out. Jeremie finished the work in about 10 minutes, then he got his laptop out and started to type away.

" hey mr brain box , what you working on?" odd questioned as he turned round.

A grunt came back "anti virus"

Aelita, who was sat next to him said "that can wait Jeremie, give yourself a brake from it ok?" she whispered closing his laptop.

"yeah, Aelita's right Jeremie, give yourself a brake from it"

He sighed in defeat, his friends were right he really should take a brake from it.

They walked downstairs after class, meeting yumi who decided she would wait inside.

Sudden screams were heard from out side. The gang quickly went out side to see what was going on. There seemed to be explosions coming from nowhere. Aelita looked up and immediately noticed where the explosions were coming from.

" Look!"

The birds that were flying in the sky stopped when they were overhead, and shot downwards like missiles and exploded when the hit the floor. Without another word the gang headed to the factory trying to avoid being hit by the explosions. They reached the factory and went down to the scanners.

"immediate departure guys" Jeremie said in his usual tone.

The boys got into the scanner, followed by the girls who dropped in beside the boys. All raised their weapons just in case any monsters were waiting. Out the corner of her eye Yumi saw something move. She threw her fans at the spot where the movement occurred.

"hey watch it!"

A boy stepped out from behind the tree. Confused looks came on to everyone's faces. All of a sudden lasers started blaring.

"fighting monsters first introduction later!" Ulrich yelled as he fell to the ground. They all darted off in different directions fighting monsters. Aelita was currently hiding behind a tree not noticing a stray block creeping up on her.

"get down!"

She dropped to the floor as the other boy stepped in front of her raising his wrists so his sliver wrist protectors reflected the laser back at the block making it explode.

"thanks a lot" Aelita said smiling at him. Her attention was directed at Yumi who was sent flying by a krabe and as she reached the edge, Aelita extended the plateau using the advantages of being able to manipulate lyoko.

"nice one Aelita!" Odd and Ulrich shouted to her while fighting with a mega tank. As soon as she saw a chance, she sprinted towards the tower. Yumi soon joined her to make sure she was protected.

Aelita entered the tower without a backwards glance. She rose to the topmost platform where a screen came up. She placed her hand on it, her name came up followed with

"code?"

She imagined writing the code.

"lyoko"

"return to the past now!"
