Chapter 671: Awake and Explanation.

(December 1. Royal Woods General Hospital. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

The light flashes before her eyes, and Luna Loud is the first to awaken, and she looks around and she seems panicked. "What?! Lincoln! Sam!" But then she sees them, on the other two beds and unconscious, and she sees the state that they are in.

Lincoln has a bandage on his right cheek, and some stitches and Sam Sharp has some bandaging and some stitches at her neck. Seeing them like this, makes Luna recall what had happened. 'We... We were just, enjoying some bonding time and then... That man, the stupid father of the Bravura Twins, he shot us and wanted us dead... Wait, out hero counterparts...'

"Still here, dude." Luna Loud then sees her, Luna Frost/Luna Spellman, and she goes over and checks on her. "We patched you up, and you should be recovered by tomorrow, you recall what happened, right dude?"

Lund Loud nods, and she wipes away her tears, and then Luna Frost goes over and then she hugs her, to which Luna Loud returns the hug, and continues to cry. "Hey now, it's gonna be alright. Everything is going to be fine now."

They then depart from the hug, and then Luna wipes away her tears and then she asks her ice powered superheroine counterpart. "How are Linc and Sam? Are they going to be alright? When will they wake up?"

Luna Frost then does the best she can to explain. "Luna, you have been out since November three days ago, and only now you wake up. But Lincoln and Sam will be fine, apparently the electrical traits within Sam have managed to keep her from dying out, and when my Sam came to help, she did what she could to keep her stable. Her throat is fine, nothing critical except for the internal bleeding, but she's going to be fine. Surgery was a success with her."

"You're son Lincoln needed some major help, the shot that went through his right cheek did some damage to his mouth, and they managed to tend to his teeth and jaw, and found the bullet lodged at the back of his throat, and there was some internal bleeding, but he's alright now. They're both fine and when tomorrow comes, then they will wake up."

Luna is surprised to hear this, but then again they have been through far worse things than just that, then she asks. "Did the others come to see us?"

Luna Frost nods, and then she explains. "Your friends did come to see you guys and also your school work is here as well, but it doesn't seem much. Michelle Lewis Loud, and her daughters also came here too, and they are glad you guys are fine and not critically wounded, but they are already dealing with the remains of that bastard who tried to kill you guys, even though he is dead."

Luna sighs and she looks annoyed. "So, that Bravura dumbass dad is dead?"

Luna Frost nods. "His soul is tainted and in hell burning for his actions, his children were told and they seemed to have lost hope, and also look shattered when word went to them about their stupid dad dead after what he has done, seems like those two won't be a trouble to you guys anymore."

Luna then gets up from bed, and she sees her wound area which is all patched up, and then she looks to her son who remains unconscious and then she asks. "Where the heck were you guys? Where were you folks when we needed to talk or train?"

Luna Frost sighs and she explained to her. "I was called to be the current leader of the undead army at Northrend, while the Lich King went off to find and stop a great evil from being unleashed. All chaos and madness broke lose, and we couldn't stray away from what we were doing. We needed to stop the madness, and the world known as the Shadowlands from trying to breach and rewrite everything. The fate of all things, of all existence was in jeopardy, I'm sorry."

Luna is surprised to hear this. "Oh, okay. That's a good reason. I guess you guys always have something dangerous to deal with huh?"

Luna Frost nods. "Not an easy thing to get over, and not easy to have a moment of peace and quiet, but we gotta do what we gotta do, and I also didn't wanna sit around and do nothing. I mean, we aided in taking down one big Mother Hubbard of a bad guy who wanted to not just rewrite the world where he is, but he also had intentions to do the same to all other worlds, linked with the one he is in."

"We took action, and went against the guardians orders, and just went in and aided the best we can, because as the new Champion of the Scourge and supporting role to Northrend, I will not let them do this on their own, that and my son said that we need to do our part, and give them the help they need. Because we can't always face the fights, alone."

Luna nods. "Yeah, I hear ya on that one." Then she sees that this is the right time, and then she looks to her. "Hey, you already are aware that my son is now partners with this giant sea dragon Pokémon, right?"

Luna Frost is confused and she nods. "Yeah, why?"

Luna Loud then explains to her, a request which would be something her son would appreciate for when the Christmas Time was to come, and hearing this makes Luna Frost smile.
