The Dream of heaven.

Disclaimer; I own nothing.

Madeline knew she was close to death, so close as if it was singing in her ear. No, wait that wasn't death it was.

"Erik." She whispered her eyes snapping open. A tall thin pale man with a mask of white was bent over Madeline. A grin hidden under the mask, the figure picked Madeline up she looked down and saw herself in an all white robe.

"Come, Mother. I must show you where you are going tomorrow. I will join you in a few years along with Marie." ((Marie is Madelines friend. I think I got her name right.)) Madeline smiled.

"What a gracious God we have. Forgiving and caring, loving and everlasting." Madeline said, putting her hand to her chest. Erik held out a hand Madeline took it, he slowly began to lead her to a big castle on what seemed to be a cloud. Expecting to go through the huge doors, Erik shook his head and steered to a small tower of the castle. There seemed to be many of the little towers, one for each family that passes into Heaven. A guard that had large feathery wings bowed to Erik and opened the door, Erik bowed and Madeline curtsied. A huge room with inventions in one corner, a loom in another and a knitting set in one was in the large room, a small door on the side read: RESTING ROOMS and another read: CHILD OF ERIKS INVENTION AND TOYS ROOM. Madeline looked the door over and gasped, flinging herself onto Erik in happiness.

"You will be married and you will have a child!" She said in delight, Erik grinned weakly behind his mask as Madeline slid off.

"Erik, you need no mask."

"Mother, this isn't my birth defect, but my sins. I must after I die, go to earth and help people in need so I may be ready to enter heaven forever and be with you." He said sadly, Madeline looked into Eriks cat like eyes.

"My dear, sweet child. What did-"

"Will, Mother."

"Sorry, what will you do that would be so horrible?"

"Even I do not know. No one but God knows of the future." Erik said sadly. Madeline looked up into her sons eyes. Cherishing the fact that she was able to see what Erik would look like when a man. Erik sat down on the floor and Madeline sat in his awaiting lap, softly Erik began to sing to his Mother. Madeline closed her eyes and listened to Eriks angelic voice caress her heart and soul.

"I love you, Erik." Madeline told him. The song stopped, and Madeline opened her eyes to see the dull ceiling of her room. Marie slowly walked in to her friend Madeline; she put a wet towel on her sweating forehead.

"Oh, Marie. My dear sweet friend, I saw Erik, and our little piece of heaven, Oh Marie, Erik, you and I are going to Heaven." Madeline said far-off. Marie began to tear up, her friends time on earth was about to end. She was slowly going mad from the tension of Erik returning and death, Marie sighed and asked Madeline to tell her about their little piece of heaven.

"There is a castle on a cloud,
went there in my

Sleep,
aren't any floors for me to sweep,
Not in

Our castle on a cloud.

There is a room that's

full of toys,
There will be Eriks child, Boy or Girl
Nobody shouts or talks too loud,
Not in our castle on a

Cloud.

There is Erik all in white,
Holds me

And sings a lullaby,
He's nice to see and he's

Soft to touch,

I told him "Erik, I love you very much"

There is a place where no one's lost,
There a place where no one cries,
Crying, at all, is not

Allowed,
Not in our castle on a cloud." Madeline sang with her last breaths, closing her eyes and dying. Marie sat looking down at her five second dead friend. Tears welled up in her eyes and she broke down in sobs, saying a prayer over Madelines' body. Marie walked out and shut the door waiting for Erik to come which he knew he would.

"Erik will be the last person to say goodbye." Marie stated as if telling Marie this.
