158. Metallic menace

Hello and welcome to the next chapter of Tales of Tamer Xilla! Were back with the 9th hunt for the Chrono core fragments. It will still be aways from finishing the arc since I have much plan for it. So let get to the chapter. Recap

Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: the battle in the digital continues as the gang encounter the hollow form of Roman Torchwick. neo attempted to reason with her uncle but was no use as he attacks. It was thanks to the combine of Teams rwby and Hasz that they were able to defeat the hollow giving him some peace. Meanwhile teams Tker and Jnpr head into Azulongmon castle to stop Aizen and Daemon. But they were held up by Reapemon. Marcus, Kyle and team Jnpr stay behind to defeat the hunter as Reapermon fled after claiming he got what he came for. Team Tker, Rina and Impmon reach Azulongmon chambers as Aizen escape with the digicore. Daemon stays to fight the Tamers. It was a rough battle, but the gang were able to defeat the demon as Daemon soon fled. But he didn't get far as Grimmon and Cinder ambush him and took the chrono cores fragments he have. Daemon was then absorb by Arcadiamon as the parasite have reach his mega form as the villains plans their futures.

Chapter 158

Metallic menace

Normal Pov: Salem lair: All can see that Grimmon was in a very good mood. He has the chrono core pieces they have recovered and the ones they took form Daemon floating in his hand. "I think this is the happiest I seen Grimmy get." Sinclair said as he leans back in his chair. Grimmon chuckles. "You be correct, we have about half of the chrono core fragments, Daemon was finally removed from our way and was used to evolve Arcadiamon to his mega form." He said. "True, But Aizen and that Reapermon are still out there." Hazel said. "They will be dealt with in time." Salem said s she cups her hands together. "Aizen is a personal matter for me, he tries to steal the relics on hid fail pursuit of power. I have preparations in the works for him." She said as she smirk. "Do you know where he is my lady?" Cinder ask. Salem nods. "I have for quite some time Cinder, but it is not the right time to deal with him just yet." Salem said. "For now, we should focus on the current task of recovering the chrono cores fragments." She said. She turns to face Watts. "Arthur, have you gotten any word from your daughter?" She ask.

'No change in the Tamer security, she'll let us know when she sees an opening." He said as his scroll beeps. He smirk. "My lady another chrono core fragment have been found." He said. "Where to this time?" Daniel ask. "My old stomping grounds." Watts said. "Atlas great." Emerald said not amuse. "You have nothing to worry about, it seems the fragment landed in the tundra in Mantle." Watts said. "So, who going?" Mercury ask. Salem loos to watts. "Arthur perhaps you should go, since your familiar with the area." Salem said. "Very well my lady, I shall take Wingul with me, also thee Digimon I requested is finally ready for battle." Watts said as he left the room. "Are you sure Watts is suitable for this mission?' Cinder ask to annoy that Watts was chosen over her. "I know you have your doubts about him Cinder, but I assure you he will get the job done." Salem said. Takato Pov: It been about a week since our battle in the digital world. Daemon and Aizen plan to steal a digicore from Azulongmon to use with the ones they already to repower the Hoyoku.

And they got away with it, now Aizen have everything he to fulfill his goals. Question is when what does he plans to do it. No point in worrying about it now while we're on a mission. The 9th piece of the chrono core have been found in Atlas. More so in the tundra outside Mantle. Right now, me, Ludger, Elle, Hiro, Zoey, Suzy, Drake, Argo and Oscar were on our way to meet with Robyn Hild to take care of it. My father and Muzet were here as well. "Man, it so fuzzy outside." Elle said as she looks at the snowstorm outside of the ship. "That Atlas weather for your runt sucky." Drake said as he cleans his sword. "Well, I like the snow it so pretty." Suzy said with a smile as Lopmon hangs from her head. "Well, it your first time out of the kingdom." Hiro said to his little sister. "Too bad Henry couldn't come." She said. "He is needed back to track down the last fragment. But he said he'll make up for it later." I said. 'The sooner he does, the sooner we can end this thing." Oscar said. I look to my father. "So why are you tagging along with father?" I ask.

"Ludger ask for my help to aid the Atlas Military to restore Mantle security." He said. Muzet let out a giggle. "Is something amusing Muzet?" He ask. "Is that really the reason you're going to Mantle Gaius. I thought it was to see Robyn Hild." She said. he turns away. "I have no idea what you're talking about." He said. I turn to Ludger. "Care to explain?" I ask. "Well?" Ludger said trying to figure out what to say. "The king is dating that Robyn lady." Elle said. "What!" We all shout. I don't believe this. Argo had a big old grin on her face. 'Oh, this I have to know." She said. "Yeah, you don't seem like the dating type." Zoey said. Father sigh. "You're not going to drop this are you?" Father ask us. "Nope." Suzy said joining in. "It started back when we prevented Atlas invasion. I went to meet with Winter and Robyn to build relations between our kingdoms. Me and Robyn found each other to be pleasant company and met whenever we can. I grow quite fond on her." He said. He looks over to me. "I just wasn't sure of what you would think of this." He said. I cross my arms to look at him. "I'm fine with it to be honest. Robyn is a good person to be around, honestly father with everything you have to endure in your life, you deserve to be happy." I know mom would be ok with you moving on." I said with a smile.

He returns one to me. "Thank you Takato." He said. "My king we have reach the site." Our pilot said. "Taake us down." Father said as the airship soon landed. We hop off to see we were at the mine that we were going to use to launch Amity into space. We soon saw Robyn and one of her huntresses Fiona waiting for us. "Welcome everyone." Robyn said as she looks to my father and blush. "Er-Gaius, I'm glad that you and Ludger came." She said. "Of course, Robyn, how goes the Mantle situation?" He ask. "Pretty well thanks to yours and Atlas aid. We were able to repair the wall and install new counter measures for the Grimm." She said. "Good to know, things were pretty bad when we fled." Hiro said. "Yeah, Ironwood going nuts and the Grimm invasion." Oscar said. "Al least we were able to reduce the damage before we took our leave." Ryudamon said. "And you have our thanks for it." Fiona said with a bow. "Anyway, Robyn you got our message?" I ask. "I did, my girls secure the site of the meteor impact. You sure it one of these Chrono core things that my daughter told me about?" She ask.

"We do, we been tracking them down for some time. This have to be one." Ludger said. "Then let go and see." Father said. "Right follow me gang." Robyn said as we follow her into the mine. She led us to the center camber where we fought that ghiest. In the center was a crater with the fragment in it. "Look like we beat them to it." Kotimon said. "But it never that easy." I said. Robyn felt her pocket buzz as she took out her scroll. "Boss it May, were under attack, its Atlas!" She shout. "What, why would they attack us?" Ludger ask. 'Aren't they on our side?" Elle ask. "Maay, do you see any soldiers?" Robyn ask. "No, it only Atlasian knights." May said. Suddenly the knights flood in surrounding us. 'Well shit." Zoey said as we got ready. "Why are they gunning for us?" Oscar ask. "No time to ask." Argo said. "Let take them out first." I said. "Digi-modify Digivolvtion activate!" We shout.

"Beast!" I shout as I sent the dragon head to bite down on one. "Pyro blaster!" Growlmon shout as he shot a fire blast at one. "Doryusen!' Hiro shout as he sent a shockwave at one. :"Metal armor blade!" Ginryumon shout as he fires his spears at them. "Hexa strike!" Zoey shout as she took out 6 of them with ease. "X-scratch!" Meicoomon shout as she slashes one apart. "Gauntlet claw!" Turiuemon shout as she slices one in half at the waist. Oscar duck under one fire, as he rams his cane through its chest. "Lighting stinger!" Filmon shout as he jabs his lighting charge claw through one. Argo swung her whip to grab one by the legs and swung it into a few more. "Razor wind!" Reppamon shout as he shot an air blade at a few. Drake let out a cry as he swung his great sword to send several of them flying. "Shogun sword!" Musyamon shout as he cut several of the robots to scrap metal. "Hungry hunter!" Ludger shout as he swung his hammer to crush a knight. "Cat laser!" Gatomon shout s she shot her eye beam at one. "Right of rule!" Father said as he slashes through a dozen of them.

"Sharp petal!" Muzet shout as she impales them on her hair. Robyn shot her crossbow to take off the last robot head. "Is that all the bad robots?" Suzy ask as she peek out from behind her partner. "Look like it, but the question stands. Why did Atlas mechs attack us?" Hiro ask. "Oh that would be my handy work." A voice said. We turn to see a man with short black hair and a mustache. He wore a simple brown suit. Wait I know him back from when we expose Weiss dad. With him was Wingul. "Arthur watts I presume?" I ask. "Indeed, I am, so you are the Tamers. From what I saw I can understand how my daughter had trouble with you." He said. "That what she gets trying to pose as one of us." Zoey said. I step up. "Tell me, are you the so call doctor who help Exodus attack Spiritius about 2 years ago?" I ask. "I was, Grimmon wanted to see how strong you were. Not to mention to gain Exodus support for our goals. It was also to test my Digimon control device. But that no longer needed." He said. 'So, wait all the Digimon we been fighting were being control?" Oscar said.

'Not all of them boy, only the more difficult ones. But the device serves no purpose now since were about to reach our goal." Watts said. 'What do you plan to do with the chrono core and the relics?" Father demanded of him. "None of your concern traitor." Wingul said. "Quite right, we got what we came for." Watts said as he held up the chrono core fragment. "Like were gonna let you get always with that." Argo said as we aim at them. Watts smirk. "I was hoping you say that." He said as he snaps his fingers as a figure drop down in front of us. It was a large red armor robotic centaur. Its arms were large with 3 fingers and has four cannons on its shoulders. Drake checks his D-ark. "[Suijinmon mega level machine Digimon. Known as the water fall general, he will drown his foes with his Mugen cannon and accel arms attacks.] Well shit was in trouble." He said. "It only got worst. Biohybrid DNA full charge! Biohybrid digivolve to Bioraijinmon!" Wingul shout as he transforms to his Digimon form. "I will let you children play now." Watts said as he moves to the side to watch. "Ah uncle Taki what the plan here?" Elle ask. "Me, Drake, Hiro and Zoey will handle Suijinmon." I said.

"I'll help too." Luger said. "Me as well, I like to put this nasty doctor in his place." Muzet said. "Then the rest of us will handle Wingul." Oscar said. "I shall aid you; he is my responsible." Father said. "I'm with you too." Robyn said. "This is going to be another rough day eh Takbou?" Argo ask. 'Oh, just fight." I said. "Biomerge activate!"

Oscar Pov: While Takato group got ready to take on Suijinmon, me, Argo, Elle, Suzy, Gaius and Robyn were going to fight Bioraijinmon. This won't be easy. Gaius walk in front of us to face the biohybrid. "Wingul, it been some time, I am quite glad you are still alive." He said. Bioraijinmon cross his arms over his chest. "Unfortunately, I cannot say the same Gaius." He said with hatred in his voice. "Tell me why have you sided with Salem, to forsake the oath you made to mee?" Gaius ask. "That oath means nothing now, I serve you faithfully, I fought for you, would die for you! But you didn't care! I was nothing but your tool!" Bioraijinmon shout at him. Gaius frown. "No, you were a dear comrade to me." He said. 'Stup up traitor, I won't listen to any more of your lies!" Bioraijinmon shout as he swung his fist at the king. Gaius quickly jump back to us. "Doesn't look like your friend will listen." Robyn said. "Then we will force him to listen." Gaius said. "Then let go." Magnadramon said.

Tamers vs Bioraijinmon

The cyborg Digimon charges at us. "Quellrise blast!" I shout as I thrust my fist and shot a tornedo at him. It pushes him back. "Back storm!" he shout as he shot the lighting burst to cancel my attack and them tackle me down. "Hands off Sparky. Bi-frost!" Kentaurusmon shout as he shot his arrows at him. Bioraijinmon swung his arms to counter the arrows. Magnadramon them flew at him. "Fire tornedo!" She shout as she shot the white flames toward him. "Electro ball!" He shout as he shot the lighting ball through the dragon attack and hit her in the face causing her to slam into the ground. "Don't pick on Elle! Lighting spear!" Cherubimon shout as she threw the lightning bolt at him. "Suzy no!" I shout as the lighting bolt hit Bioraijinmon in the chest and was pull into the Digimon. He let out a chuckle. "Why thank you." He said as he stomps on the ground causing a shockwave to push us back. Gaius ran at the biohybrid and jump t him. "Soaring demon fang!" He shout as he swung and shot an energy slash that hit Bioraijinmon in the chest. Bioraijinmon reaches for the king only to have Robyn slash her cross-bow blade at his side.

"Out of my way Back storm!" He shout sending out another burst of lighting to force us back. "He really strong." Magnadramon said. "We can't give up." Cherubimon said. "That right, we can take him." I said. "Then we shall give you an opening." Gaius said. "You can't stop me Gaius!" Bioraijinmon shout. "But I'm not alone." Gaius said as Magnadramon and Cherubimon took to the air. "Heaven thunder/Dragon fire!" They shout as they cause lighting and energy to rain on the biohybrid. He cries out as he was forced to kneel. Gaius charges at him as his sword was cover in fire. "This sword cries out to vanquish all evil Absolute domination!" He shout as he slashes Bioraijinmon across the chest leaving a gash. "Damn you I will!" He shout. "Odin breath!" Kentaurusmon shout as he froze him up to his chest in ice. Now my chance. My back spikes came to my hand and start to spin. "This ends now! Spiral vanish!" I shout as I slam my drill at him and sent him sliding back leaving a large trench in the aftermath. When the smoke clears, he turn back to normal. "Enough of this Wingul." Gaius said as the cyborg got up.

"Never, you will pay for leaving me to die Gaius, I will have my revenge." Wingul said as he vanishes in a surge of lighting. "He gone." I said. "But he will be back, for now let aid the others." Gaius said. Takato Pov: We are getting ready to face Watts and his Suijinmon. "Before we start, tell how you got Wingul to fight for you. I doubt you save him from the verge of death out of the goodness of your heart." I said. Watts cross his arms. "Of course not, when a man appears from out of nowhere one can't help but be interested. I was curious about who he was, so I took him to one of my labs to get him outfitted with my cybernetics. Afterward I question him about where he came from. But you must know he is quite stubborn. But I got to come around to my way of thinking and he told me everything." He said with a sick grin. "You brainwash him." I said. "Can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs. But everything got interesting when Spyros appears, and we discover you Tamers. I adjusted Wingul mind to think he was betrayed by the king we once serve making him the perfect tool." Watts said. "You have no right to treat a person like that!" Ludger shout.

Watts chuckles at him. "Your one to talk Ludger, you did the same to little Elle during Origin trial." He said smugly. Wait he knows about that. "How did you come across that little rumor, not many people knew the existence of the trial." Muzet said as she tilt her head. "Sinclair was nice of enough to fill us in, not the mention there the Hound you met. It her reason she hates you so much." He said. Her? So, the Hound is a woman and which everything else we learn about her it only means. "Worry about it later Takato." Moeru Ryu said. "Now if were done talking I'm press for time. Suijinmon." Watts said. "Yes sir." The Digimon said as he got ready. "Let go guys." I said.

Tamers vs Suijinmon

"Lighting joust!" I shout as I shot the lighting blast at Sujinmon. The cyborg quickly jumps into the air to avoid my attack. He then dives at us as we quickly jump back. He a fast one for his size. Ouryumon charges at him. "Accel arms!" Suijinmon shout as he swung his fist at the dragon knocking him back. "Knowledge stream fire!" Rasielmon shout as she shot the fire blast at him. "Mugen cannon!" Suijinmon shout as he shot a high-pressure blast of water from his cannon and crush the angel to the ground. "Mystic flame!" Zanbamon shout as his horse head use its flame breath. Sujinmon use his hand to block the flames and grab Zanbamon by his face and slam him into the ground. "Heat wave!" Ludger shout as he shot the flame shot at the cyborg leg causing him to stumble. "Accel arms!" Suijinmon shout as he tries to crush Ludger. "Cyclone!" Muzet shout as a twister form to stop him in his tracks. "Is that all you got?" Sujinmon ask. "Not by a long shot Eiseiryujin!" Ouryumon shout as he shot his lighting slashes into Sujinmon back.

"Mugen cannon!" He shout as he shot at the dragon. "Sefer raziel!" Rasielmon shout as she counters the water blast and hit Suijinmon in the chest. "Vorpal blade!" Zanbamon shout as he slashes at Suijinmon back legs. "Gravity well!" Muzet shout as she uses the gravity arte to force him to stop. Ludger enter his level four chromatus. "Grand cleave!" He shout as he lands a powerful strike on Suijinmon. I aim my shield to finish this. "Shield of the just!" I shout as the red beam clash into the cyborg and threw him across the ground. Watts put his hands behind his back. "So this is your power, it matters not in the end you will fall to Salem like the rest before you." He said. "Keep talking asshole." I said as we got ready to move. But then Parallelmon appears next to them. Wingul follow suit. "Well until next time Tamers." Watts said as they vanish. We all change back to normal. Zoey growls. "Cowards got away with the fucking fragment." She said. 'Come on, let check on the others." Hiro said as they walk to the others. "Well another fragment gone." I said. "Yes, only one remains." Father said. I look behind him to see Robyn. I smirk.

like she wants to talk to you." I said. "Yes, I won't take too long." He said as he walks to her. He so got it bad. I look to Ludger. "What watts said about the hound, from what we know of it or I should say she and what he told us. I am certain of who she uses to be." I said. "So do I, I'm just hoping were wrong, for Elle sake." He said as he looks over to his daughter. "Me too, the kid does not need this after everything she been through. Let gather the others and head back." I said as we move to leave the mine. I really hope that the hound is not her of all people.
