A silver beam came attacking Severus who continued to scream hid head off. It was almost as if the beam itself was beating him to a pulp. His sleeves were literally wrenched off his body as his dark mark was for want of a better word forcefully sucked from his arm leaving a gaping hole which the silver beam then penetrated and closed again. It went on like this for several minutes and she was terrified about what was happening. When it did stop he slumped in his seat black and blue and unconscious. She ran off to get the prefect to get Madam Pomfrey and he complied. She arrived seconds later via floo.
"Miss Potter what on earth happened to him?" she asked as Heidi felt like her best option was to lie. She didn't wish to reveal too much.
"I don't know ma'am. He was quite literally beating up by a silver beam!" she said as Poppy gasped.
"That means someone somewhere has released any and all vows which were on his person and something else. Usually something else, anything else is involved when the beam which attacks is Silver. Don't you worry he'll be fine. Come with me to the hospital wing in the floo here while I treat him!" she instructed as Poppy levitated Severus through the floo with such ease it was surprising. Heidi nearly fell at the other end but managed to catch herself just in time as Poppy looked at her.
"Does that always happen to you?" she asked as Heidi blushed her head off.
"Yes ma'am it does. I'm not good at using the floo and usually I fall on my bottom every time I use one!" she said as Poppy laughed.
"Yes I'm sure you do. In that cupboard over there you will see two potions. One is purple and one is blue in colour. Give me the blue potion and then lie on this bed here and take the purple one yourself!" she instructed as Heidi did so. She went to the cupboard inside of which were many potions of different colours and sizes. Some of which she recognised instantly and others she had no clue about. She grabbed the blue potion and the purple one. Poppy took the blue potion pouring it down Severus' throat. Although still unconscious he managed a groan at that. Heidi lay on the bed beside him and took the awful tasting potion shocked as her sight went all blurry and she felt immediately very dizzy indeed. The whole room was spinning and she felt exceptionally nauseous. Without warning she hurled to the left side of the bed and suddenly it was all over. She felt perfectly fine but very confused. Poppy waved her wand cleaning up the vomit as she tended to Severus carefully.
"That potion gives one twenty-twenty vision and fixes any dizziness we may have which can make all the difference when using the floo. As for Severus here I mean to say Professor Snape he really does look worse than he actually is which I cannot explain. Most of the cuts and blood on him can be healed in mere moments with the wonders of magic. Let me who you!" she said very enthusiastically as Heidi watched her in fascination.
She went to her stores and came back with two potions. One of which she fed him slowly as all the cuts disappeared and another she put on his skin removing all excess blood and cleaning him up. He looked much less tired and his hair actually looked good now that it didn't have years of grease and grot in it. His nose which had been permanently disfigured from Voldemort torturing him once was back to normal now and looked like a normal large nose but wasn't hooked in shape any longer. His eyes fluttered opened and he smiled.
"Thank you Poppy I feel better than I ever have and I mean ever!" he said in a stunned fashion as his body quite literally felt brand new. He was full of energy and because he no longer had the vows of Voldemort or Dumbledore on him he was free. He sat up feeling free at last and genuinely smiled.
"Thank you Miss Potter for everything. I shall not forget this in a hurry!" he said when Poppy was out of earshot. He led her back to her common room and bid her goodnight. They had agreed to tell everyone he'd had an allergic to something and in order to heal him properly he'd ended up looking healthy and better again all thanks to Poppy which everyone would buy because of how excellent she was at her job.
Up in his office Dumbledore felt very off internally. He could hear a sound which sounded almost as if a balloon was being blown up too much when suddenly it popped with such extreme force that the monitors he had monitoring both Heidi and Severus were destroyed beyond repair. The only way the monitors watching Severus would be destroyed is if he had somehow gotten out of his vow to him. In rage he raised his wand screaming and trashed his office. It wasn't fair at all. Now Severus would be liked by others and Slytherin would no longer be hated by everyone! He got all of his rage out and once he calmed down he smiled again. He decided to make a late floo call and was delighted with the outcome. Tomorrow Lupin would have no classes as his classroom was checked over by warding specialists. He would fix that room and then Lupin could help to further alienate Slytherin house. It would be perfect. He didn't need Severus or his vows anyway as Remus would now tarnish Slytherin for him. It truly was genius. He was very proud of himself indeed for thinking of it at all. He wouldn't even let Severus know he was aware that the vow was no longer in place. It was likely anyhow that Severus himself didn't know.
Heidi entered her room and gasped at its beauty. It truly did look divine. Ivy popped in shocking her slightly. With everything which had gone on today she'd forgotten Ivy would be here with her and was very relieved.
"Heidi your room can look like this as Lady Slytherin or it can look normal like any other room here. What would you prefer?" she asked as Heidi knelt down giving her a gentle hug which made the elf delighted beyond words. Her Heidi was always hugging her. It would seem she needed the affection and her elf was the one getting it from her and giving it to her. Ivy clicked her fingers as the room changed to the normal room all of the other girls had and Heidi smiled.
"Well thank you Ivy this room is pretty but I would prefer the other one please. Can you glamour my room so that only you, me and Severus Snape can really see what it looks like. I want it to look like just any other room to everyone else!" she said as Ivy nodded reverting it back to the way it had been and glamoured the room so no one that didn't want to see it would see it.
The room was divine. It was huge in size. When you entered the room you were met by a living room area which contained a roaring fire which had a gorgeous teal coloured plush couch facing it and flanked at either side by shelves loaded with all of Slytherins books on parsel magic. There were a few plants scattered here and there and it looked really homely. Around the corner where the wall ended was the bedroom itself. The king sized four poster bed was raised on a sort of plinth up a small flight of steps. It was done in deep mahogany wood which spiraled so that each of the posts of the bed made snakes. It looked truly wonderful. It was covered with teal curtains and silver bedding while two bedside lockers rested on either side of it. To the right hand side of the bed was an armchair which faced the fireplace which it seemed came from the living room into this room with ease. It was very warm and cosy as the castle was usually freezing. On the right hand side was a walk in closet which had the bathroom on the other side of it. It was gorgeous.
She entered the closet to find it full of floor to ceiling mirrored cabinets which had all of her clothing in it and a nice dressing table which had the makeup and perfume Petunia had bought her earlier on. There was even a special rack containing all of her shoes. She had a special wardrobe for her luxury robes which she would be wearing from time to time as and when she needed to. She walked through the door to the bathroom and gasped really loudly. She just stood there silently her mouth hanging open in awe. She had never in her life seen anything more beautiful. There was a gorgeous marble sink to the right hand side. Directly straight ahead surrounded by black and gold marble roman columns was a large round bathtub with loads of gleaming gold snake head taps to the side of it. Then there was a huge walk in shower again cased in this gold and black marble that Slytherin obviously loved so much. The handle to the door of the shower and the handle to run the shower itself were golden snakes. Even the light sconces were snakes but the difference being that these ones could talk to her. She was further stunned in this room however to see a painting of the common room or what looked like one at least. In fact it was not a painting at all as one would normally know it as in this 'painting' people were still moving around the common room and she could even hear what they were saying. Salazar must have invented this to spy on his students and insure they stayed out of trouble. This would be a useful tool in the future for sure.
She re-entered the closet and went over to the closet removing her pyjamas. She slipped into the pants and top and put her uniform neatly on the chair for tomorrow. She entered the bathroom again to brush her teeth and her hair. Actually she really enjoyed brushing her hair gently at the vanity as it helped to focus her and calm her nerves. She entered her bedroom and climbed the steps to her bed and got in falling asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow. No one would know Severus tomorrow that's one sure thing.
