Amelia looked around the room as Severus entered with the boggart in a chest. Severus himself was not afraid to face the boggart knowing what it would be. It would either be his father beating his mother/him or Voldemort. He had only gotten the boggart as he was nearest to the door when Amelia asked someone to get it. She took the chest from him and erected a high platform up some steps on which it was placed. She checked to see that everyone student and staff alike could see her from every angle. "Everyone we are ready and to prove he is a light man Professor Dumbledore will go first. As he himself says truly brave people have no issue facing their true fears and we thank him for showing us how brave he is!" she said with forced happiness. The Slytherins who knew who she was related to could read between the lines and see that Dumbledore was quite obviously being punished for what happened to Susan. While that wasn't technically the whole truth they were partly right none the less. The rest of the school just seemed confused by her presence.

Dumbledore looked at the Gryffindors to see how proud they looked and was furious. He shouldn't have to do this. He stepped up to the chest which she opened as the boggart stepped out. It shifted and changed spinning rapidly eventually settling on a dead Arianna and an Aberforth who was calling him dark and saying he'd killed her. He was screaming at Albus and telling him telling him if he hadn't been so in love with Gellert things would have been different. He shouted at him "You loved Gellert so much you were willing to tear our family apart over him. Because of your blind love of him you evil bastard you killed our sister! I hate you Albus and I'll always hate you. You should have died not Arianna!" Albus stood stock still for a moment in utter shock before he started screaming his head off.

"Abe it wasn't me! It wasn't my fault! Please Abe! Don't hate me! Please it was Gellert. It was all Gellert. I fell for him and his charming good looks. I can't help how alluring he was. I'm so sorry ABE PLEASE" he pleaded before he seemed to remember where he was and cast ridikulus Aberforth doing ballet badly and making him laugh heartily while Arianna disappeared. The Gryffindors all stood up and clapped for him. He'd been truly brave in their eyes. The Slytherins all looked disgusted as the slightly dishevelled Dumbledore stepped down from the platform where an Auror kept a close eye on him. The Slytherins ever the observers noticed this at once as did the Ravenclaws however the Ravenclaws did look confused at this. Amelia stepped up on the platform as Aberforth shifted and disappeared becoming Susan dead with death eaters all around her. She looked pale and frozen with fear to the spot she stood on but she didn't scream out like Albus did. Gathering herself she shakily pointed her wand at the scene and called out ridikulus in a strangled voice as Susan came to life and killed the death eaters who looked shocked in a funny way as she laughed. Humour was different for most people however so not everyone found it funny. Everyone in the whole hall was stunned with how difficult the head of the DMLE had found this to do. If even she struggled why were they learning about it at all? Many furious eyes turned to both Albus and Remus.

She summoned a bar of chocolate and cut it up into very small pieces taking a bite herself and placing it on the staff table far away from where Albus was standing. He didn't get to have any relief. Remus Lupin himself was asked to come up and do it next. As he did so he saw the full moon and shrieked in terror calling out the spell as it became a flying white balloon which made funny noises as it went back inside the chest. Looking around Amelia was furious as every student looked utterly baffled by his fear. There was no logic to fearing the moon apparently.

"For those of us confused by Professor Lupin's fear I will explain it. Professor Lupin decided to teach children this very dangerous lesson because Professor Dumbledore threatened to expose him if he did not. He did not feel he had any choice but to comply and as we all know there are always choices if one actually looks for them. As a punishment for doing this I will now be taking Professor Lupin's salary from him for this month and I will tell you all that he is a werewolf. He is not dangerous at all but because he feared everyone finding out about it he did the wrong thing and will have to suffer because of it now. He will get no sympathy from me!" she said as everyone gasped and many looked afraid now. Remus seemed to hang his head in shame as he should have.

"For those of you interested to know my Auror Cadets who are just learning how to become aurors must successfully face a boggart before they can. It is a very complex thing that most people fail to complete several times. It is against the law to show them to children which Albus here would have known if he'd read up on the laws as of late. As a consequence of these actions he is now no longer responsible for hiring new staff as that responsibility shall now be mine!" she said as everyone in the hall gasped.

One by one all of the teachers went and faced the boggart. When Hagrid faced it he too saw a dementor and shivered. He was loaned a wand to cast the spell which worked. As Albus had essentially coerced Remus into doing as he wanted and hadn't much thought of others it was only fitting he'd now lose his hiring and firing rights. That law had been written so very long ago with a clause that once acted on it could never be repealed so his hope of being free to do as he wanted with his staff now went out the window. Clicking her fingers Amelia summoned a house elf who she whispered something to. The house elf appeared with many black vials of something she instructed all the staff to drink. She too drank it to prove it was ok a cut on her cheek healing. All the staff Remus included drank the mystery substance with Remus screaming his head off. The students all watched in horror. Everyone else had been given a vial of phoenix tears but his vial which had been slightly larger had been half filled with phoenix tears and pure liquid silver as a punishment. He was meant to feel fear like he'd shown his students which he now did. She had no idea what would happen to him but determined that anyone sick enough to submit children to such abuse deserved it.

Remus fell to his knees which cracked and broke and was flipped onto his back which also broke. He was in excruciating pain and the whole hall watched as he screamed himself raw. They were further stunned when his limbs started to bubble and a black silver liquid was forced from them which darted out of his body shooting at great speed across the hall and smashing into the wall which wasn't close to anyone before settling in a puddle which Amelia cleaned away with a flick of her wand. Some blood was taken from a now healing Remus whose bones were fixing themselves.

"I will now test his blood. That potion we all drank was a healing one. We will see how healed he is. Ok so everyone listen up! Professor Lupin is still a werewolf who will need to eat raw meet twice a week and will not transform any longer. He is partially healed at least so we don't need to worry about him turning into a beast a few times a month anymore. You are all safe now. As his healing also caused him much pain I consider that punishment enough. You will soon be getting a new History teacher as Professor Binns will be going. Also as of now there are to be no more DADA classes until next week. Professor Lupin you are to remove yourself from that classroom until further notice as it is being examined for various curses on it. Classes are cancelled for the rest of today. Go back to your houses and study. Good day to you all!" she said dismissing everyone. Albus went to tell her it was his school and only he could do something like that but when she glared at him he soon stopped.

"Albus I warn you now that you are on thin ice. You will have one more chance only. Squander that and I cannot help you. We will see ourselves out. Take this time we will not be having DADA classes to go through all of correspondences you will likely receive. We will be publishing in the media that Mr Lupin was a concern and is no longer such a concern. Never again put owl wards on this school which blocks correspondence. You are not some kind of king who can control his peasants or something. Get that through your thick skull. Come along Kingsley!" she said as they left. What a day it had been. Heidi was just relieved it was all over to be honest.
