Everyone watched as Gabi fired her gun on the screen.

Gabi rolled through the door and shot her rifle. Someone with black clothes was hit in the chest. That person was Sasha Braus.

"SASHA!" Connie screamed. Blood drained from his face as tears formed in his eyes. Jean slid from the sofa and gritted his teeth. 'No. That didn't just happen...'

Krista covered her mouth in horror, eyes widening in shock.

Armin shook his head in disbelief at the scene and turned to look over at Sasha.

The girl was as still as a statue, and as pale as a ghost. She looked down as tears ran down her face and gave a shuddering gasp, "I-I don't want to d-die." She started screaming out in despair.

Connie hugs her tight, "You won't. This is in the future, we'll save you just like we'll save everyone else!"

Everyone else around them looked on in shock.

At the back of the room, Reiner closed his eyes in sorrow, blaming himself for Sasha's death. He slowly pushed Gabi behind him, willing to take the brunt of the anger that would be directed at her. He was shocked when Magath and Porco stood either side of him. "You're not dealing with this one alone, Braun." Magath whispered to him.

Behind the three men, Gabi shook in terror at the scene that had just played out. That was the first person she had actually killed and it was one of the most innocent people of all.

Before anybody could react further, the screen flickered and made a strange sound. The screen had rewinded.

Gabi rolled through the door and shot her rifle. Someone with black clothes was hit in the back. That person was Connie Springer.

Erwin and Levi exchanged confused glances. Did Gabi shoot both of them? Levi looked back at the screen, as Connie had pitched forwards... and saw Sasha and Jean looking at the floor in shock. 'What just happened? Did they show the wrong thing?'

Jean couldn't breathe. He just watched two of his best friends being shot in what looked like fatal places. He was so blinded by tears he didn't notice the flickering beforehand. He was about to scream out in rage before the screen flickered again. This time he noticed it.

Gabi rolled through the door and shot her rifle. Someone with black clothes was hit in the back of the neck. That person was Jean Kirstein.

Everybody stared at the screen. They watched as Jean collapsed bonelessly on the floor, Sasha and Connie looking over in shock.

Jean blinked. Sasha blinked. Connie blinked.

The screen kept flickering as if it was stuck on a loop.

Gabi shooting Sasha. Sasha falling back.

Gabi shooting Connie. Connie falling forward.

Gabi shooting Jean. Jean collapsing where he stood.

Sasha falling.

Connie falling.

Jean collapsing.

Sasha. Connie. Jean. Sasha Connie Jean...

SASHA. CONNIE. JEAN.

The constant flickering and watching his friends die over and over, caused Eren to freak out. "STOP THIS FUCKING MADNESS! What is happening?" He looked over to the female host who seemed to be transfixed by the events on-screen. Eren ignored her and looked over at Jean, Connie and Sasha. Jean was red with rage, Connie looked lost and Sasha had tears running down her face.

Eren gripped his hair in anger. 'What are they playing at? As if showing everyone else's deaths wasn't enough.' He looked over to where the young warrior cadets were sitting. He saw Reiner and the two called Porco and Magath sitting up on the edge of the sofa as if trying to hide something from view. Most likely the girl that shot his friends.

"Holy SHIT!"

"Is that who I think it is?!"

Eren looked back toward the screen and watched in horror as the screen had stopped flickering and starting showing something else.

Connie was sitting on top of another person, trying to wrestle a gun out of his hands. In the foreground Armin was slumped over, bloody bullet holes in his back.

"ARMIN!" Eren and Mikasa screamed together. They looked on in horror at their best friend and brother in all but blood, lying dead on the floor. Eren and Mikasa wept with grief.

Armin gaped. There was no warning. No fanfare. 'I didn't even get to see how I died. Was it a sacrifice for Connie? Did I take a bullet to let Connie try and take down that man?

Annie tilted her head. 'Was that... steam coming out of his body? But, how would he be a titan shifter...' Annie's eyes widened and she looked over at Reiner and Bertholdt. 'Oh no.'

Connie continued to wrestle with the man, who looked over at his friend. "Daz, blow it up."

"DAZ!? And is that Samuel?" Sasha asked incredulously. 'Why were they there? Did-did one of them kill Armin and Connie is trying to avenge him?'

"He's a 104th?" asked Oluo. "Why does he look so old?"

Eld shoved him, "You're one to talk." he mumbled.

Eren fell to his knees. Seeing his friends dead body was horrifying. He watched as Daz started to move around and saw Armin lift his head, mouth bloody, with steam rising from it.

...

'WAIT WHAT?' Eren jerked his head back up to see Armin stand up and tackle Daz to the ground.

"Hold on a second. He's not dead?" asked a Scout.

Hange gaped, "That's not possible, there's bullet holes in his back and face." They gasped. "But there's steam as well, like Eren's. Which means..."

"Armin is a Titan Shifter. He ate one of the shifters." Erwin finished for them. Mike and Levi turned to face the Marleyans, 'But which one? And how did he get the power?'

"Armin!" Daz shook his head, and pushed Armin back. "Stop it!" Tears formed in Daz's eyes. He pointed a gun at Armin's head, "Please stop it!" Daz spoke, voice cracking.

The cadets who trained with Daz were shocked. Jean remembered Daz from the Trost attack. He was cowardly and was willing to die a coward than face the titans again. Krista thought back to the mountain when she and Ymir saved Daz from dying in that blizzard. How many years had it been for him to change so much, he would willingly threaten the life of his friend?

Connie stopped struggling with Samuel and called out to Armin. Samuel drew his attention, "You traitors! Why?! Aren't we friends?"

'Traitors? What would warrant Samuel and Daz to turn on their friends and call them traitors?' Mike wondered. 'They are wearing different uniforms. Connie and Armin are wearing Scout uniforms while Samuel and Daz are wearing... what were they wearing?'

Connie shook and yelled back, his voice wavering. "You guys are our friends! But... I..." Samuel's eyes filled with tears.

Daz's hand shook as Armin stared him down. Tears filling his eyes too.

"He can't do it." Nile spoke quietly to the other men he sat with. "He doesn't have the resolve to pull the trigger. To kill his friend that he spent three years training with."

A flashback of Bertholdt flashed, "Someone has to do this!"

Connie began screaming, sweat pouring off him as Samuel whimpered.

Connie pulled the gun from Samuel's hand and shot Daz in the head killing him instantly. He screamed as he pulled the trigger again, making Daz fall in the water.

Krista screamed. Ymir looked on in shock. Jean gave a shuddering gasp.

Armin reached his arm out for Daz, only to drop it. A lone tear fell from his face, 'Daz. Why?'

'How can someone just kill another human?' Moblit thought to himself. 'How can you just end a person's life like that?' He looked over at Eren, remembering the report he overheard Hange talk about. 'What do you need to go through to willingly take somebody's life?' Moblit thought he knew death, he saw enough of it, but this... this was worse than death. This was murder. 'Whichever way you look at it, Eren.' His eyes shifted a little. 'Mikasa.' Moblit turned his body to look at Connie. 'Connie. They all killed someone. They're all murderers.' He looked over the rest of the younger Scouts sitting with them. 'How many of them become killers in the future? Is that what our future will be now? Killing people to survive?' Moblit reflected these thoughts with trepidation. He wasn't sure if he wanted to live in a future like that.

Samuel looked on in horror at the death of his friend.

Connie looked at Samuel fearfully, tear tracks running down his face.

Sasha shook her head, seeing the fear in her best friends eyes. 'He's not armed. Just tie him up or something. Don't do it. Please don't do it.'

Samuel looked back at Connie pleadingly, "S-Stop it-"

BANG. BANG BANG.

"He was unarmed Connie! WHY?" Sasha screamed at him, whacking his arm repeatedly. Connie looked sickened, mouth tight, eyes wide with horror.

Connie shot into Samuel's face at point blank range as Armin continued to stare ahead, blood pouring from his face wounds.

Bertholdt's words echoed as Armin stared. "Someone has to get blood on their hands!"

Connie whimpered then screamed out at the sky.

The screen flickered off.

Connie leapt to his feet, a hand tightly clapped over his mouth. He stumbled away from the couches, nearly crashing to the ground as he scrambled across the room. The bathroom door crashed against the wall as he threw himself into the nearest stall. He collapsed to his knees, gripping the toilet bowl with shaking hands. A sour lump rose at the back of his mouth and he pitched forwards, stomach heaving and throat burning as sick splattered the sides of the bowl and the water.

He heaved until there was nothing left in his stomach.

The hinges of the door creaked as someone walked into the room. The stall door opened and a gentle feminine hand, tentatively rubbed his back. It was comforting.

Connie groaned, thankful for Sasha's presence. "It's fine." he muttered.

"No." Annie's monotone voice muttered. Connie's eyes widened and he quickly flicked his head behind him.

Annie was crouched over him. A blank expression was on her face but he could see the sympathy in her eyes. "You'll never get used to it. You just have to live with it." She stood back up and offered her hand to him.

Connie looked at Annie in disbelief before taking her hand and allowing her to pull him to his feet.

Unexpectedly, she pulled him a little too hard and all but threw him out the bathroom.

As Connie stumbled to get his footing, he looked around to see everyone staring at the screen again. He tilted his head at the golden eyed Titan, shivering a little as it seemed to stare right at him.

well damn has it been a while. ive been trying to find time to write this story and not having much luck succeeding. I probably wont upload for a while again due to my brothers wedding coming up but i can try. I'll answer some of your guys reviews real quick.

JayceeSal

This story has so much potential, but omg why do you add unnecessary stuff..? we barely get to see reactions cause you're focusing on other stuff and making full updates on a chapter by itself.

andreevmix111

I fully support JayceeSal. Every time, almost in every second fanfic with reactions, we see this. Instead of describing reactions and everything else to the events we are watching, we constantly get huge chunks of text that are completely off topic, which sometimes have NOTHING to do with the topic at all. What the fuck is Cthulhu and all this at the beginning of the chapter, the fuck is this even inserted here? so much text wasted on something incomprehensible.

You both complained about the lack of reactions you get to see and things unrelated to the story.

Let me quote the bio of the story to you. "AOT Characters see the future. Slow updates. This is NOT a reaction story so do not treat it as such. Do not request for scenes."

Does the third sentence answer your questions? This is NOT a react fanfic. This is not like 'Power to Strive'. Yes, there are reactions in this, but half the time, i've been giving little hints here and there to suggest what's going on.

and andre. Cthulhu is one of the Great Old Ones, a group of powerful beings from another place that now inhabit Earth, waiting to rise up and destroy the human race so they can rule the planet. He was created by Lovecraft, a great author that you should check out.

BRUH3000

Please let this die. This shit is so bad.

Glad you're enjoying bro, I'll be sure to check out some of your stories too. ;)

One thing that keeps annoying me: Hange is a woman, why do you keep using "their" to refer to her?

In the anime Hange is referred to as a woman. In the manga however, Hange's gender is never confirmed and Hajime Isayama himself said that it didn't matter what Hange's gender was. I am merely going by what the creator intended rather than what the fanbase wanted.

That's all from me and at this rate I will see you all next year.

Until next time.
