"Hey now, hey now
Don't dream it's over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they won't win."
-Crowded House
"What is an alien spaceship doing out here?" Keith grumbled. "A distress signal beamed from a lonely ship a galaxy away from Arus." He flipped his magnifier up only to see he didn't recognize the ship's model. He knew it was a fighter ship that's been through conflict. But that is all he was able to assess.
"What do you think, Boy?" Keith said to Kosmo. "Think I should check it out?"
Kosmo licked his face.
"Okay, okay, I know you missed me." Keith chuckled. "Let's find out what's up with these guys." Keith flipped on the communicator. "Black lion speaking, are you in distress? Identify yourself."
"Paladin Keith," a familiar voice echoed through the speaker. "Is that you?"
"Slav?"
Allura stood by the windows of the Castle of Lions as The Green Lion entered the atmosphere on Arus. It was hard to believe that Keith had been held up on Earth for almost a month which was longer than anticipated.
Keith was detained by the Garrison, apparently at a shopping mall on Earth. It was due to his assault on another officer.
Lance.
News spread across Earth that Keith shattered Lance's jaw. That's a detail Keith hadn't shared with her. Not that Allura was particularly furious with Keith. But she wished that he had told her before all this happened.
What's more troubling is Allura knows if Keith loses his temper, it's likely in defense of her or Shiro. Because of the nature of the incident, she was confident it was her.
And it didn't sit well with Allura.
As upset as she was that the mission to bring Lance back resulted in a fight, Alura hoped it could be rectified. However, Garrison wasn't so forgiving. Keith faced assault charges which resulted in several hearings. The Garrison threatened to strip him as an officer. Allura was sure Keith didn't care, but it would make matters complicated with the Garrison in the future.
Allura's communication with Keith was limited due to his detention. Nevertheless, he seemed fine with whatever they decided. But the same couldn't be said of Allura. She wanted him home with her, and she would do whatever it took to get him back.
Pidge, Lance, and Shiro joined the effort to get Keith out. Pidge's parents also pleaded his case, but their input fell on deaf ears. And then there was Hunk. He was devastated that he couldn't get to Earth to help. Shay was experiencing a rough pregnancy, and he had to stay with her.
However, he wrote a statement requesting Keith's immediate release. He cited that Lance wasn't willing to testify against Keith. His plea received no response. Therefore, Hunk released publically that the Garrison was blocking efforts for Keith's freedom. By not granting Allura an audience, he would look like they weren't treating his case fairly. It was a gamble, but one Hunk was willing to take.
The gamble paid off. A media firestorm ensued, and Allura was granted an immediate hearing. Her position in the universe as an ally and leader of Arus held weight. They were faced with the fact that the Voltron Paladins were considered legends. The Garrison had no choice. The team was immensely popular, especially as of late. With Lance's book coming out and Keith's detainment - the sensationalism was stuff the tabloids dreamed of. The whole ordeal was something the Garrison wanted nothing to do with.
Besides, who are they to ignore someone who helped save so many lives?
"With all due respect Empress Allura," Lieutenant Jacobs said. "This isn't a matter that needs your approval. Commander Kogane violated the code of conduct we hold here at the Garrison. Although he has been moonlighting with you, it's under the permission of the Garrison. He is still one of us and is held to those standards. Assaulting a fellow officer here or otherwise is usually punishable by dishonorable discharge. Commander Kogane could be held here for over a year. Which will bar him from making critical decisions regarding further military actions."
Allura tightened her jaw. She knew that getting Keith out of this mess would be a battle. Allura scanned the screen. Some of these officers Allura had the pleasure of fighting alongside. It was frustrating to have to fight against them now.
"Lieutenant, I should not have to remind you. If we fall under attack, those petty charges against Commander Keith are counterproductive. His leadership helped save us all."
"That may be true," General Iverson chimed in. "But he was not alone in the task. He had the help of the team, especially Former Commander Shiro."
Allura gripped the end of the table.
"What you had was our leadership. My Castle Crystal powered the Atlas. Further, Keith saved all of our lives. Including, and not limited to, Commander Shiro."
She took a deep breath before continuing. Allura was determined to keep her voice level or risk being dismissed due to hysterics.
"It was my team that I trained along with my Father's weapon that saved the universe. Whether you accept it or not, Keith is a part of that team now. It was you who rejected him when he was a student there. You don't get to pick and choose when he is a part of your-"
"He was expelled because of his behavior when he was younger. He was reinstated in the war with the Galra. He is on loan to you, Empress, as Special operations, nothing more," the General said smugly. "We appreciate your alliance, but frankly, you don't call the shots here. Commander Kogane violated our code of conduct. He is eligible to face the consequences."
"May I continue?" Allura interjected. "I have not completed my thought."
"You may," General Iverson said sternly.
Allura smoothed her dress to gather her thoughts. "You do not get to pick and choose his role there when it suits you. Keith is a part of my team and a leader on Daibazzal." Allura stared down counsel in the hologram with steely resolve. "As an equal partner in this coalition and the one in possession of this universe's superweapon, I demand that Commander Keith be released. Holding him will be considered an act of hostility."
The energy in the room changed as everyone exchanged uncomfortable glances. "Empress, we aren't sure what you are suggesting," General Iverson said, shifting in his seat. "Are you threatening to remove your protection of the universe or threatening us with the usage of it?"
"What I laid before you was not a threat," Allura felt her blood run hot through her veins. "It was a statement of fact. You must ask yourself what is more important here? By detaining Commander Keith for nonsensical reasons, you're putting the universe in danger."
"Luckily, word has not spread far. However, if other planets learn of his detainment, it may make us all vulnerable to attacks." Allura said as she straightened her shoulders. It took all the strength she had not to ball her fists. "Ones that your planet alone will be defenseless against without help from us. We cannot risk that. I will do what I must to protect this galaxy by any means necessary."
A short pause ensued before Iverson spoke. "You gave us a lot to think about. We will reconvene when we've reached a decision."
"One final note," Allura raised her hand. "Commander Keith is not without his flaws. However, he's a man of integrity. He could leave your detainment without triggering a single alarm. And there would be nothing you could do. I implore you to consider his honor in your decision."
"Fair enough Empress Allura," Iverson said as he stood up. "We will make a determination shortly."
"See to it that you do," Allura said with enough assertiveness to convince them she meant business.
"Allura, an act of hostility?" Krolia smiled. "Not the language I'm used to from you."
"Indeed," Kolivan chimed in.
"I agree, Empress, "Coran frowned. "That may have been too harsh!"
"Coran, when it comes to any one of my team and this universe," Allura rubbed her temples. "I will do what I must."
Krolia leaned back in her chair, smirking. It was the same blasted look Keith had from time to time. She was amused. "Allura, I knew I liked you."
Present day. The Castle of Lions
The only thing Allura was sure of was she missed Keith. She missed the smell of the soap he cleansed himself with. Gone was the smell of cedar and sandalwood. What replaced it was the scent of her juniberries. Although the aroma was comforting as it reminded her of home, it also reminded her that he wasn't there.
Allura longed for him.
It felt odd to Allura to have this level of attachment. Her family and friends were gone from a war that Zarkon waged on them. Allura thought herself unaffected by the charms of love, but Lotor showed her she was wrong. Her relationship with him taught her that she longed for home. He shared so much life experience with her that she was blinded to his schemes.
Then it was Lance. He was there to pick up the pieces after her failed relationship with Lotor. Lance was also there during her painful argument with Keith.
Looking back, she wished she had the foresight to manage her feelings. She was hurting too much for a relationship. Had she done that, this conflict with Keith and Lance would have been avoided. The truth was, Lance was there for her, but she never loved him, at least not romantically.
With Keith, their romance hadn't gone on long. But what Keith was and had been for a long time, was her confidant. If she was honest, it crushed her when he left and the last two relationships were the result of heartbreak. At the end of it all, he's her protector, her friend, and now, her lover. He was the one she wanted to be with all along.
Is it wrong that she doesn't want to miss another day with him now that she finally has him? To want to stay up late at night with him and enjoy his occasional stories about his life with his Father? Or sometimes indulging in banter only they understand?
Allura spent these last few weeks imagining his touch. Her thoughts of him kissing every inch of her skin were frequent when he left for the blades. Now since they've been intimate, they're more vivid. At times, just the idea of him left her skin tingling.
For the first time since her parents died, he was the only one who understood her. Someone that incredible doesn't come into a person's life every day.
If Pidge hadn't told her she was returning to Arus, Allura would hop in the Blue lion to ensure Keith's freedom. Although he had the means to break himself out, she knew he would only do it if there was danger afoot.
She decided to be diplomatic and await the Garrison's decision.
"Pidge," Allura ran to the hangar to wrap her in a hug. "I'm happy you're back."
"I'm happy to be back," Pidge smiled. "I didn't turbocharge my lion, so it took a while to get back." Pidge glanced around.
"Where is Keith?"
"Keith?!" Allura's eyes grew wide. "He was released?"
"Oh yeah," Pidge smiled. "They decided to let him go."
"Why wasn't I told?" Allura looked through her messages. "You would think they would let me know!"
Pidge rubbed her neck. "I'm not sure?"
"I'm sorry, Pidge. I didn't mean to snap at you." Allura rubbed her face. "I'm happy he's out and will be back soon, I'm sure."
"I don't know. Maybe he thought he would surprise you." Pidge shrugged her shoulders. "Lance sure surprised me."
"Is that so?" Allura raised her eyebrow. "What exactly did he do?"
"Well…"
::: The morning after the club incident.:::
Well, you look like you had quite the night," James leaned against the door. "Your face is evidence of that," He said smugly.
"Is Pidge here?" Lance said impatiently.
James stifled a grin, "Yeah, let me get her." James slammed the door in Lance's face.
When the door reopened, Pidge appeared in the doorway with her arms folded. Lance stood in front of her with a swollen jaw, a bandage on his nose, and regrets.
"You have two minutes," Pidge said through gritted teeth.
"I'm sorry, Pidge."
"You look sorry."
"I messed up, okay?" Lance threw up his arms.
"Messed up? MESSED UP?!" Pidge fumed. "Messed up is not doing your homework claiming your dog ate it, Lance! No, you did more than that! How dare you take out your grief on the whole team? How dare you even think about a tell-all! You can apologize and go to hell!"
"I wasn't going to trash the team. I am just going to tell my life story, nothing more!"
"Just your life story?" She seethed. "The team would have fallen flat without me?!" Pidge seethed. "Yeah, that sounds real truthful!"
"I said what is necessary to sell books!"
"Lance, you couldn't rescue yourself from a paper bag if you stepped on it!"
"Pidge, that's harsh."
"Harsh, you say?" Pidge scoffed. "Well, I haven't started. There was a time when I thought you walked on water. You meant everything to me. But you never saw me. You only saw Allura."
"No, Pidge, that's not-"
"I'm not done talking," Pidge held her hand up, cutting him off. "You made your choice. And I accepted that until you came by my house and kissed me, throwing my world off its axis." Pidge shook her head. "I must have been nuts, you were with Allura, and I was with James."
"Pidge, I meant every word I always love -"
"Don't you dare, Lance." Pidge bit off. "You don't get to do that."
"Pidge," Lance said as he grabbed Pidge's hand only for her to snatch her hand from him. "Don't—! Don't touch me!" She hissed.
"Okay, okay!" Lance held his hands up in surrender. "You were more than an option," Lance choked out. "I was too young and immature to realize you were perfect for me. I'm sorry, Pidge."
"I'm perfectly fine, I didn't say this so that you could feel sorry for me. I'm great. You need to see that your actions have repercussions. What's not fine is this thing with Keith," Pidge retorted. "That's fucked up."
"What's fucked up is him taking advantage of Allura and her vulnerable state after her break up."
"And you're in the position to judge?" Pidge laughed. "Oh, that's rich!"
"What is that supposed to mean?" Lance snapped.
"Hello! Allura was fresh off a relationship with Lotor. She wasn't in the best place when you swooped in," Pidge sneered. "That didn't bother you then, did it?"
"Well, I-"
"In fact, she had a falling out with Keith. Let's face it, he was her closest friend on the team. I could argue they were closer than you and I."
"I wouldn't say that -"
"But you knew that, didn't you?" Pidge continued cutting Lance off once more. "Hunk told me about your outburst when the show about us launched."
"Damn it, Hunk," Lance grumbled.
"Only they got their relationship wrong," Pidge continued without skipping a beat. "Or did they? They saw something we knew quietly all along. They had chemistry. And you had to make sure Keith didn't get any ideas, so you asked her out before he could!"
"Are you done, detective?" Lance crossed his arms.
"I am," Pidge said viciously. "I was idiotic, but that's over. Your whole relationship with Allura was based on one-upping Keith. We were collateral damage. Keith may have hurt you, but damn it, at least I know he always loved her."
"I loved her too!"
Pidge scoffed. "No, no, you didn't. You're selfish and insecure. All you care about is yourself. She is royalty. Having her on your arm raised your profile.
"Pidge, that's fucked up, and you know it," Lance said sharply.
"Sometimes, the truth is fucked up," Pidge mocked. "Allura wanted us together to be a family. We, along with Coran are her only family. I failed her. Further, I failed myself," Pidge shook her head somberly.
"But no more. That man in there?" Pidge pointed to her window. "I was his FIRST choice, and HE will be my FINAL choice. Write your book, do what you want, you will anyway." Pidge said coldly. "But LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE."
"Pidge, I-"
"Okay, Lance, time for you to go," James came to the door. "You've had enough time."
"Fine," Lance said, irritated. "I will leave, but-"
Just then, an official Garrison vehicle pulled up to Pidge's townhome. Two officers jumped out. One was a tall red-headed man with freckles. Tall and broad. He looked like he couldn't hurt a fly. At the same time, the other one was wide with dark hair. He looked like he was a wrestler in his former life.
"We need you all to come with us now," The Garrison officer with red hair said, approaching the house. "You too, Griffin."
"For what?" Pidge tightened her robe to hide the view of her breasts further. The men were attractive, but she was already caught between two men. She didn't need more.
"There was an incident last night. You're all wanted for questioning," the larger officer said, folding his arms. His demeanor was intimidating.
"Aw, come on, can you see I am in no mood for this?" Lance whined. "I just got back from the doctor and hoped to get some sleep after this."
"This is regarding your assault last night Lt. McClain," The redheaded officer said.
"We have detained Commander Keith."
"Oh my God!" Pidge clasped her hands over her mouth.
"Now, if you all come with us." The first officer said.
Pidge shot Lance a glare. "Let me get dressed."
"I will fix this, Pidge," Lance said sadly. "I promise."
::: Present Day:::
"After that, Allura, they hauled us in for questioning. James and I were released quickly, followed by Lance. They would let us all see Keith. So we let Lance go in."
"Lance visited him?" Allura asked wide-eyed. "Keith never told me that. Do you know what they said to each other?"
"He wrote a statement claiming full responsibility for the incident," Pidge sighed. "But that's all I know. I think that and your plea got him out."
It was enough to steal the breath from Allura's body. Lance visiting with Keith signaled to Allura that he was having a change of heart.
Team Voltron was struggling. Allura blamed herself for it. Coran, ever the optimist, was always confident that the team would make it through. For the first time, she was inclined to believe him.
"Allura, are you okay?"
"Yes," Allura dabbed her eyes. "I know it's irrational, but I wish we could return to the way we were before all of this. Do you think he will ever come back?"
"I don't know," Pidge hung her head. "He made no promises. But I'm shocked that he made a complete one-eighty. I thought it would take more than me chewing him out."
"Thank you for telling me. That was a very personal conversation that you two had." Allura grabbed Pidge's hand. "You didn't have to tell me."
"We've been to hell and back together, Allura." Pidge cracked a slight smile. "I thought it was high time we were transparent."
"Thank you," Allura squeezed Pidge's hand. "By the way, where is James?"
"He and I are… Figuring stuff out."
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't pry."
"No, Allura, it's fine," Pidge said, not meeting her eyes. "When we saved the universe, I wanted nothing more than to return to earth, be with my family and teach at the Garrison. But now," Pidge wavered. "Well, this last fight with Yulexa… I felt purpose. I was able to think my way through situations. I-I missed that."
"I see," Allura said soberly.
"I like being a paladin," Pidge smiled. "I know it's so weird seeing that all I wanted to do was go home-"
"And James wants things as they were?" Allura inquired. "On Earth, that is?"
"Yes," Pidge frowned. "You can say that."
"Pidge, do you love him?"
Before Pidge could respond, Keith walked in.
"Keith!" Allura stood up, running to throw herself in his arms, only to stop dead in her tracks.
"Oh wow," Pidge's eyes grew wide, "Sven and Slav, what the hell are you two doing here?"
"We were in a fight with the Alteans, and somehow, we ended up thrust into this reality," Slav responded. "We scanned the universe and found no way home."
"Honerva destroyed their other realities in a rage," Allura said, frowning. "She gave her life to save this one and restore the others. I almost died helping her, but I was able to hold on. It would destabilize everything if I were to try to send you back," Allura said, frowning. "We almost lost Voltron forever."
"I'd rather have you," Keith said softly.
Allura felt her heart thump in her throat. It was astounding that Keith was able to do that to her.
"I see," Sven said, bowing his head in defeat.
"I thought it was too dangerous," Slav concluded. "We might as well make our peace with it."
"And leave our comrades?" Sven asked.
"We have no choice," Slav said, throwing up his arms.
"Keith! Shiro! Slav?" Romelle walked in with Coran in tow. "Wow, I didn't know we were having a party!" She beamed.
"This is Sven, Romelle. Not Shiro," Allura corrected. "They are visiting us from another universe."
"Pleased to meet you, Romelle," Sven kissed her hand. "Are you a Princess?"
"Oh no, I'm a stray Altean that Allura befriended. Think of me like a distant cousin of hers." Romelle's cheeks burned a bright pink.
"Ahem," Coran interrupted. "I think we should all get debriefed!"
"Coran, you're getting too serious in your old age." Pidge snickered. "Let them talk if they want."
"I'm not old!" Coran retorted. "I'm seasoned!"
"Like corned beef." Pidge laughed.
"What is Corned Beef?" Coran raised his eyebrow.
"I think, "Allura interrupted their freefalling banter. "We should show our guests to their rooms so they can settle in. We can debrief later."
"Of course!" Coran chirped. "Where are my manners? Follow me!"
"Coran, I can show them where they can sleep," Romelle beamed.
"Oh, very well, Romelle," Coran smiled. "Number five, will you join us?"
"Sure, why not," Pidge glanced at Keith and Allura before flashing Coran a knowing smile. She followed everyone out, leaving Keith and Allura alone on the bridge.
"I guess you aren't happy to see me?" Keith said, shuffling his feet.
"Of course I am," Allura launched herself into Keith's arms. She couldn't wait to nuzzle her face in his shoulder and smell his skin. It may be strange to some people to be in love like this, but for her, the feeling was new and familiar at the same time. "It's been a phoeb."
"I know, Allura. I'm sorry." Keith stroked her back. "I have so much to tell you."
It's how he said her name, "Allura." His tone caused her knees to buckle. His voice dripped with yearning. Allura knew now Keith wanted her. It's in his every breath. She only wished she had known that before. It would have saved her so much heartache.
"That can wait," Allura placed her finger over his lips. Her eyes burned with intense passion. "Right now, I need you."
It wasn't long before they were in one of the guest rooms in the north tower of the castle. Allura visited that side of the castle when she didn't want to be found. Today was one of those days. She prepared a room for Keith's return because she knew she wanted him to herself. That and her room has too many distractions.
With each step into the room, the fervor of their kissing intensified. Allura pulled Keith's shirt over his head, and Keith tugged at Allura's jumpsuit so hard she thought he would rip it off.
Keith made her lose her senses in a way Allura could never put into words. He brought her most erotic wishes out in the forefront. She was never this bold, nor was she ever this turned on with Lance. Never knew in a million lifetimes did she imagine she could feel like this.
"Keith," Allura moaned. Her body tingled with excitement. Keith pulled the pins of her hair out while his lips claimed every part of Allura's neck. Her hair tumbled down like an avalanche, adorning her shoulders. It had been too long. She needed this.
She needed him.
"You're impatient," Keith teased as his hand found its way down to her bottom, squeezing it. He felt her desperation and matched it with his own. Allura could only sigh in response. Her blue eyes filled with heat. A jolt of warmth shot through her body like bolts of electricity.
She had to have him.
"So are you," she panted, gazing into Keith's eyes.
"I've missed you," he rested his forehead on her's for a brief moment of tenderness. Vulnerability was something that Keith rarely showed, and yet, it was so hot on him.
"I've missed you too, Keith." Allura dusted his bangs aside. His hair had grown. Allura thought Keith's eyes were captivating and hated when his hair blocked her view. Tonight, however, she found his overgrown hair and facial stubble irresistible. His boyish looks were replaced with manly sexiness. And Allura was far from complaining.
Keith kissed the inside of her elbow and up to her hand, startling her from her thoughts. "How much did you miss me, Allura?" His tenderness of affection caused Allura to shudder.
"I… thought of you," Allura traced his face with her hands as Keith leaned into her touch. "Every dobach."
His hands roamed her back until he found the curve of her ass again. Allura hooked her leg around his waist to draw herself closer to him. His desire was straining against his pants. The delicious feeling of how badly he wanted her was enough to spur her along. She knew she needed to get out the rest of her clothes now.
"Turn around and close your eyes," he groaned. Allura did what he asked without protest, shifting her hair to expose her neck to him. Keith's hands quivered. Inch by inch, as he unzipped her bodysuit, revealing her bare cocoa skin for his pleasure.
"I think of you every day, Allura," His breath tickled her neck. Closing her eyes heightened her senses. The proximity of his lips threw her into a tizzy.
"A phoeb is a long time," She whispered.
"No," his hands slipped beneath her bra, unhooking it. Her bra fell to the floor, exposing her nipples to the cool air, stiffening them. Her body opened, awaiting his next move as his hardness pressed against her. Signaling exactly to Allura what he wanted.
"Every day since we met, I've wanted you." Before Allura could respond, Keith devoured her neck, all while kneading her breasts. Touching her so seductively, Allura could not string two words together. His slow circles on her breasts caused her mind to go numb.
Wanting more, his hands traveled downwards, touching her torso before his final destination. Instead of diving his hand inside right away, Keith toyed with the elastic band of her panties.
"You smell so good," he murmured in her ear. Allura felt her mouth go dry. Part of her wanted to throw him on the bed and have her way, but it was the first time she was teased like this. She wanted to see how long they could go before one of them lost it.
"What are you waiting for?" Allura asked as her last thread of control was on the verge of snapping.
"You," he muttered. "Why don't you tell me what to do next?"
Allura felt all sense leave her. He had her completely mesmerized.
"I can use my hand," Keith said in her ear as he slid his hand into her underwear.
"Oh!" Allura exclaimed.
"Or," he said as he kissed her neck. "I can use my mouth." Allura almost lost herself there.
"Wow, you are so wet," he murmured as he drew circles in her well.
"Keith…" Allura whimpered. "Don't tease me like this..."
"Why not?" he said, dipping his finger inside her, causing Allura to whine more. "I never get sick of hearing my name from your lips."
Allura would have slapped him for his tone if he wasn't driving her mad with lust. "Get. On. Your. Knees," Her words halted between gasps.
"Ask me," Keith said, slipping a third finger inside her.
"Quiznak! Please, Keith!"
"That's better." Keith turned Allura around and drew her into a fiery kiss that stole her breath. "Sit on the bed."
Allura traced Keith's lips with her thumb. When Keith went to kiss her thumb, Allura pressed it into his bottom jaw. She used the pressure to guide him to the floor before sitting on the bed herself. "I'm still in charge," she said seductively.
"Okay, Empress," he said, smirking while stroking her legs. His eyes feasted on her body as if it was the first time he saw her without her clothes. His longing for her was clear as day, and yet, he was in no rush. Allura began to feel subconscious.
"What is it?" Allura chewed on her lip. It was only a few seconds, and yet the anticipation was burning her up inside.
"Nothing," He smiled. That smile was so darn disarming and, at times, innocent. Today, it was making her crazy.
"Are you just going to stare?"
"Maybe I'm enjoying the view?" He smiled wolfishly.
Allura rolled her eyes in feigned annoyance.
"I feel lucky to be with you," he said sweetly while kissing her ankle.
And he crumbled whatever walls she might have had up left. Damn him. Allura's cheeks turned a bright crimson.
Keith kissed every part of her limbs. His lips maddeningly made their way to her inner thigh. Allura eyed him as he seemed to savor every bit of her skin. She wasn't used to such tenderness from a man. And then, in one swift motion, he surprised her by snatching off her panties. A chill replaced the warmth of the thin cloth that she viewed as her last bit of sanity. The air reminded Allura how soaked he had made her.
Allura felt the muscles in her legs quivering in anticipation. "I am lucky to have you t- OH!"
Keith buried his head between her thighs, licking up all the honey she gave him. Allura's thighs threatened to crush his head, so Keith slid his arms around the edge of her thighs for control.
He hummed. He hummed as if he was enjoying every lick and flick he gave her sensitive nub. And then it was the matter of his eyes. Keith's eyes met hers with a mischievous glint in them. It was that darn impish gaze reserved just for her. She knew she was in trouble.
Allura felt on the edge of exploding as his tongue swirled inside her. Her hands gripped the sheets on her bed until they turned white. It wasn't long before she saw stars twinkle in her mind's eye. Keith rose, passionately kissing her belly button. He then made his way to her mouth, with the taste of her love on his lips.
"I can't wait anymore," He said breathlessly.
"Good." Allura used her feet to push his boxers off of him, exposing his erection. "Neither can I."
Keith kissed her with fervor before entering her. Her mouth opened in a silent scream as her walls didn't move fast enough to accommodate his size.
"Are you okay, Allura?" The heat of the moment lowered his voice to a hoarse whisper. "Was that too sudden?"
"I'm more than okay." At this point, Keith felt too heavenly to care. "Faster," she uttered as the pleasure reverberated through her. Keith increased his pace, causing Allura to thrash against him. Allura desperately chased the feeling of ecstasy, as it alluded her.
In the throes of passion, they clawed at each other. Kissing, touching, groping, and licking each other to abandon. There wasn't a place on Allura's body Keith's hands didn't claim, and Allura's nails dug into Keith's back in response. He was pounding every delicious sound out of her that she could utter. Everything about his scent, warmth, and touch turned her into ash.
Allura felt his muscles flex with every tantalizing thrust he gave her. Her legs struggled to hold on while he crashed into her like a turbulent ocean. Her body writhed under him, and she couldn't stop it. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't be quiet. Allura was sure everyone in the castle heard her, but she didn't care. Most of the public heard how Keith made her feel, and she was done being shy about it.
The entire time he stared at her with a hungry look. It was like she was insatiable to him. No one ever looked at her like that, ever. Although she realized her body was ready to combust under Keith, she didn't want this to end.
"You feel amazing."
And like a dam breaking, Allura hit her climax. The waves of pleasure were solid and unyielding. She held onto Keith's raven hair for dear life in between her fingers.
Keith lightly bit her shoulder, groaning audibly as he reached his pinnacle.
After slowing their breathing, Keith kissed Allura on her forehead before rolling over.
Keith was happy to be back on Arus. After such a stressful time on Earth, he only wanted to relax. He contacted his mother and Kolivan en route, which was a good thing.
He flew a long trip, all while picking up unexpected guests. He hadn't had a minute to breathe since he walked into the castle. A very hot and bothered Allura eagerly greeted him. He wanted her as much as she wanted him. He's been thinking about what he would do to her when he got back. Thoughts of all the ways he would make her scream louder than the last time replayed in his mind. And he accomplished that. But now, he just wanted to crash.
"Keith…?" Allura kissed his shoulder.
"Hmm?" Keith was utterly sapped for energy. He needed a few minutes before forming a thought.
"I didn't ask if you were okay," Allura said sadly.
So much for rest.
"I'm okay now," Keith said, as he brushed a piece of her hair aside. Looking into Allura's eyes, he can see that she's genuinely concerned. It's one of the things he adores about her.
"No, I mean, when you got here," Allura said, not meeting his eyes.
"Don't worry about it," Keith caressed her cheek. "I got the best welcome back anyone could give me."
"I'm glad," Smiling, Allura rolled off the bed to grab her robe.
The heat of her body was lulling him to sleep, and now she was up. Keith was beginning to realize that sleep wasn't on the menu. Especially with her looking like that like she wanted more. He felt the blood rush to his loins already.
"Don't put that on," Keith said devilishly. "I'd rather watch you walk around naked."
"Keith, that is a naughty thing to say!"
"After what we did, you're worried about me being naughty?"
Allura hurled a pillow at Keith, just hitting him on the side of the head. His reflexes were definitely off after all of that activity. "Okay, Empress," he said, smirking. "I will be a perfect gentleman for the next few minutes."
Allura rolled her eyes. "I'm going to draw a bath," she said as she headed to her bathroom. "And I may need your help bathing," Allura glanced over her shoulder. "Meanwhile, you can tell me what happened with Lance."
"Can it wait until tomorrow?" Keith grumbled. "I rather not talk about Lance while touching you, Allura."
Allura turned around in the doorway with the robe hanging open, again exposing her naked form. Her hair was so long it covered her breasts. She was stunning. Not because she's a literal goddess but because of who she is. She loves and loves hard.
Allura is the most beautiful person he has ever met. Every day he is near her, she gets more and more stunning. Her eyes and her smile radiate anywhere she goes. He never imagined that he could be with someone so amazing. She made him want to be better. Allura was the only person outside Shiro and his father that believed in him.
He's never been able to tell her this.
Without warning, Keith hopped out of bed to head to the bathroom. If he can't voice his thoughts, he can at least show her. Drawing a bath is a small gesture for her being so wonderful.
But before he could walk in, Allura rested her hands on Keith's chest, stopping him. "I thought if we talked about him," She ran her fingers over his scars, driving Keith thoroughly mad. "It would ensure you would be a gentleman?"
A gentleman is not what Allura wants, Keith sees that now. She's toying with him. At this point, round two was edging out sleep. Allura looked at him over her eyelashes with all of the innocence of an angel and the tone of a temptress. Wasting no more time, Keith pulled her in a heated kiss before kicking the bathroom door closed.
That conversation would have to wait until tomorrow.
