Act 7: Put To The Test
The Rangers trained in the courtyard, Izuku and Tenya sparred against each other while Kyouka and Ochako practised with the training dummies. As they were training, they heard the sound of the gate opening, they turned to see the last Ranger trying to sneak in. "It's about time you showed up, you're late!" Tenya yelled at Denki.
"I know I know, I accidentally slept through my alarm clock and missed my train… twice." Denki went to walk to the Shiba house only to walk right into Ji.
"That's no excuse." Ji said sternly.
Denki jumped back. "...Hey mentor, I'm sorry I'm late but I promise I'll-" Denki tried to talk, only for Ji to drag him by the hair. "ow! ow! Watch the hair, ow!"
Ji dragged the blonde teen over to the Shiba house's entrance where one of the Kuroko waited with a stack of papers. "I am going to be honest with you young Kaminari, compared to the others you are a rank below them." Ji explained, taking the papers from the Kuroko. "Not just in swordsmanship but Symbol power as well, that's why for today's training, you'll be writing out five hundred characters."
Ji then handed Denki the stack of papers. "Five hundred?!" Denki was stunned by the amount of papers he had to make his way though, while his back was turned, Ji took a spare training sword and hit Denki over the head with it. "Ow!" Denki shouted in pain, dropping the stack of papers that scattered when hitting the ground. "That freaking hurts!"
"If you don't want to get hit, either block it or dodge." Ji responded.
"You say that like it's easy." Denki argued back. In response, Ji walked over and swung his sword at Tenya while his back was turned, Tenys spun around and blocked the attack, then spun back to block an attack from Izuku. "Seriously?"
"Young Kaminari." Ji approached denki. "A Samurai must be alert and ready at all times, I hope this isn't the same attitude you bring into UA."
He then walked inside the Shiba house, leaving Kaminari to pick up the papers he dropped. 'Jerk.' The teen thought as he began rummaging through the pages.

THE NETHERWORLD
The two Nighlok sat on the deck of the ship as Octoroo dipped his staff into the endless river. "The water's looking a bit stagnant." Dayu commented.
Octoroo sighed, the waters of the Sanzu river had barely been rising. "Appears the human world has been a bit peaceful as of late, seems flooding the human world may take longer than expected." He said as he walked into the main room of the ship.
Dayu followed him. "Great… more time in this bleak wasteland of a world." she sighed.
"In a gloomy mood as ever, ay Dayu?" The two Nighlok turned to see a giant orange fist grabbing onto the side of the ship, the bulky Nighlok then hoisted himself onto the ship.
"Ah Rofer, glad to see back." Octoroo greeted the Nighlok. "I hope your fists haven't lost their touch."
Rofer laughed as he walked into the ship's main room. "Ha! Are you kidding? My fists are as powerful as ever! Hell, sometimes I'm even scared of what these things could do!"
"That's some pretty big talk." Dayu snidely said. "We'll see about that after you run into the Samurai Rangers."
"Oh, and I should listen to the likes of you?" Rofer laughed mockingly.
Dayu sent a death glare at Rofer. "What's that supposed to mean?"
Rofer turned to stare back at Dayu. "You know what I mean, you damned filthy half-" Rofer barely managed to dodge out of the way when Dayu violently threw her pick at him.
The pick flew past Rofer before embedding itself into the rotting wood of the ship. "Watch your tongue roughian! you have no right to talk to me, after all, Master Xandred himself summoned me to be a part of his crew." Dayu coldly said as she went to grab her pick.
"Oh please, he only summoned you to act as a remedy for his headaches, If I had things my way, you wouldn't even be here!" Rofer argued back, readying his fists for a fight.
The two were then separated by an energy blast from Octoroo's staff. "Enough of this! Dayu, knock it off!" Octoroo scolded her before turning his attention to Rofer. "And Rofer, stop antagonising Dayu! If you are so proud of your skills then go cause some chaos in the human world."
"Glad to!" Rofer agreed as he cracked his knuckles. "Once I unleash my special move, those Samurai Rangers won't even know what hit 'em!"

Ochako and Kyouka sat in the main room of the Shiba house taking a break from training, Ochako watched as the Turtle Zord hovered around the ground while the Ape Zord swung on Kyouka's arm.
"Kaminari!" The two turned to look as a red faced Ji stomped into the room "Have either of you seen Kaminari?" he asked, the two shook their heads so Ji decided to search elsewhere, he then walked out into the training grounds, the two girls now following him. "Kaminari!" There he found Izuku and Tenya training, but there was still no sign of Denki anywhere.
"What's the matter, Mentor?" Izuku asked as he and Tenya halted their duel.
"Look here." Ji walked over and handed the greenette of the pages Denki had left behind, the rangers gathered to see that Denki had written "Five Hundred Characters" on it.
"What the?" Tenya blinked at the page.
"If he thinks this counts as five hundred characters, then that's the worst joke I've ever heard and I sat through the Present Mic comedy specials." Ji grumbled. "Where'd that boy run off to? Kaminari!" Ji began circling the perimeter of the Shiba house in search of the teen.
Kyouka took the page from Izuku as he went back to training with Tenya, Kyouka looked at the page for a moment before going to train with Ochako.
…
"This is too easy." Denki smirked, he'd snuck off to meet up with his friends from the UA exam. One of them had jet black hair and oddly shaped elbows while the other had purple hair and was very short. They had headed to an arcade and were currently playing a relatively new fighting game
Denki smashed a couple of the buttons, performing a combo attack. "Oh come on!" the shorty shouted as his avatar got flung into the air before being slammed into the ground.
"Dang Mineta, you suck at this game." the black haired teen joked.
"So do you Sero! He already beat you, twice!" The shorty argued back while all his H.P was depleted.
"Finish Her!" Denki finished things by performing a finishing move, binding his opponents arms before trapping them in a wooden prison. "Kamui Woods Wins!"
"Thanks for inviting me to come with you guys." Denki thanked the two.
"No problem man but I gotta ask, why didn't you join us the other day?" Hanta Sero asked.
"Yeah, Midnight was doing a promo event, it was pretty hot." Minoru Mineta added.
"I was a bit… busy, I'll tell you guys over lunch." Denki answered, after playing more of the arcade's games, the trio headed out to get some burgers before finding somewhere to sit. "a while ago i started attending a… Kendo class."
"Oh, like because of the Samurai Rangers?" Hanta asked. "I heard a lot of kendo classes have been packed with new students after they showed up, I'm surprised you managed to get into one."
"Yeah, and one student that's been there for a couple of months is really skilled." Denki added.
"Are there chicks there?" Minoru asked.
"Yeah." Denki answered.
"Are they hot?" Minoru asked.
"Well there aren't that many in the class."
"Are they hot?" Minoru asked again.
"Well one of them is nice and another is kinda tough."
"Are they hot?" Minoru asked again, Denki silently smirked before nodding. "Nice."
"This place sounds great, can you get me a spot there?" Hanta asked.
"Yeah well, the place isn't all that perfect." Denki clarified. "The instructor is a loud-mouthed grouch and one of the other students I'm pretty sure has a constant stick up his… he's a pain is all I'm saying. Those two are always on my case and look down on me, not to mention constantly getting hit on the head during practice."
"Really? That's messed up." Minoru said.
"I know right! You can only push a guy around so much." Denki said, taking a bite of his burger.
"Aaaahhh!"
A scream erupted from nearby, Denki turned around just in time to see someone land on the ground after being sent flying through the air. "Hahahaha!" He then looked up to see a Nighlok stepping through a gap. "It feels so good to be back!"
'Crap!' Denki's eyes widened, he then booked it, running as fast as possible to find a place to change.
"Hey! Where're you going!?" Hanta shouted after him, only for he and Minoru to have the Nighlok's arm wrapped around them.
Denki's eyes widened when he looked back to see his friends in danger, he looked around before running into a back alley. "Oh ain't that sad, your friend just up and ditched you." Rofer said as he pulled the two toward him. "That's really unfortunate, so I'll be kind and give two a quick death." he said, slowly tightening his grip on the two.
"Ack! It hurts!" Minoru yelped in pain, struggling to breath.
As Rofer tightened his grip on the two, he felt a sudden pain in his back. "Ow!" Rofer let the two go as he spun around to see the Green Samurai Ranger. "Oh, It's one of you."
"You two, Get out of here!" Denki shouted to his friends before slashing at the Nighlok, Rofer dodged his slashes before catching the blade, he then punched Denki, sending him flying through a shop window.
Hanta and Minoru took the opportunity, running as fast as possible away from the battle. "Oh great, You let those two escape! I was this close to killing 'em!" Rofer said, putting his finger and thumb close together.
Denki got back up and pulled out his Samuraizer. "Symbol Power!" He wrote out the kanji for bind (縛) and launched it at the Nighlok.
Rofer chuckled before throwing a punch, shattering the holographic kanji into pieces. "That was weaker than I thought it'd be!"
'Crap!' Denki charged at Rofer, slashing frantically at him. Rofer blocked the attacks with his fists before punching Denki square in the face, knocking him back several metres.
"I'll admit it, I appreciate you coming here to get slaughtered." Rofer said as he raised his fist. "Extending Arms!" He then slammed his fist into the ground.
'What the? What is he-?' Before Denki could guess what happened, a fist flew out of the ground beneath him and hit him directly in the chest. "What the hell was that!?"
"My special move: Extending Arms! With it, there's no runnin from me!" Denki then experienced what a ping pong ball felt like as Rofer's fists slammed in and out of the ground, Knocking him in almost every direction.
"Ouch! Aight, I'm starting to get sick of this!" When he got the chance, Denki quickly climbed up a tree before jumping over to a balcony. "Try and get me up here!"
"Gladly!" Rofer shouted, launching his arm towards the Ranger.
"Oh you gotta be kidding me!" Denki shouted before Rofer grabbed him by the head, Denki was then pulled towards him.
"Got you." Rofer growled before slamming Denki into the ground.
Denki was dragged through the underground as Rofer's fists moved every which way, occasionally going back above ground only to go down again, this came to an end when Denki flew out of the ground and landed with a Thud. 'Cmon, Get up!' Denki weakly reached for his sword.
"Don't worry, I'll put you out of your misery." Rofer said as he walked toward the injured Ranger, prepared to finish him off only for the Red Samurai Ranger to jump at him.
"Ha!" Izuku slashed at Rofer, managing to injure the Nighlok.
Behind him, Ochako, Tenya and Kyouka ran to Denki's side. "Hey! You alright?" Kyouka asked, one look at Denki's cracked visor was all she needed to see. "Oh crap, we need to get him outta here."
"You Ain't going nowhere! Extending arms!" Rofer shouted, once again slamming his fists into the ground, Izuku was unable to act fast enough before Rofer's fist smashed through the ground, hitting him straight in the face. "Heh, the mighty Red Samurai Ranger wasn't even able to dodge my attack." Rofer gloated as he walked towards the Rangers. "Now I'm gonna-!" Then suddenly, Rofer leaned forward in pain.
"What's happening?" Ochako asked, confused.
"Look!" Izuku drew their attention to Rofer's torso, it had begun turning grey with several cracks beginning to form. "He's drying out, he won't be able to stay here for very long." he then turned his attention to Tenya. "Iida, get us out of here!"
"Sure!" Tenya nodded, attaching the Dragon Water Spin disc to his sword, he then created a wall of water to cover them and after it dropped, they disappeared.
"Damn, looks like round one ended in a draw." Rofer said to himself. "Heh, no matter, when I return, I'll put all of 'em into the ground." and with that, he retreated back to the Netherworld.
…
BACK AT THE SHIBA HOUSE
They'd all gathered in the main room to tend to the two injured Rangers. "Ouch!" Denki flinched in pain as one of the Kuroko finished applying some stitches on his back.
"What were you thinking!?" Ji scolded him. "First you ignore your training, then you try to battle a Nighlok all by yourself, What did you think was gonna happen?! Not only that but in your foolishness, you put your friends in danger!"
"Kaminari, you shouldn't have gone to see them at all." Tenya doubled down on him.
"So what? Should I just avoid seeing my friends at all costs!?" Denki asked.
"Of course not." Izuku spoke up, holding an ice pack to his face. "You should still be able to keep in touch with your friends, but there are times you should focus on bettering yourself and improving your skills."
"And by improving my skills you mean getting hit on the head over and over again!?" Denki argued back.
"That is to help you sense an attack just like the one that Nighlok used, by enhancing your instincts and reflexes." Ji explained before taking a deep breath. "Kaminari, at first i thought you were a level below the other rangers but in reality, you're not fit to fight off a horde of Moogers by yourself, let alone a full on Nighlok."
Denki looked down to the floor, tightening his grip on the knees of his pant legs.
"Kaminari." Denki looked up at Ji. "figure out a way to handle the Nighlok's attack, if you can't then return your Samuraizer and give up being a Samurai Ranger."
Denki sat there for a moment before grabbing his things and walking out. "Kaminari! Wait up!" Kyouka said as she walked after him.
Ji too then walked out of the room. "Uh Mentor, don't you think you were a bit harsh?" Izuku asked as he walked after him.
…
"Kaminari Wait!" Kyouka yelled to Denki as he walked through the training grounds. "Where are you going?"
"Home… or a beach, I don't know, just somewhere I can be alone." Denki shouted back before walking through the large wooden gate that slammed shut behind him, he walked down the long dirt path for a bit before checking his phone, he did a double take when seeing the missed calls from Hanta and Minoru. 'Oh crap, thirteen missed calls!' He quickly went to call his friends back. "Please pick up, please pick up, please pick up… Sero?"
"Kaminari! Are you alright? We couldn't find you after the monster and the Samurai Rangers disappeared, where are you?" Hanta asked.
"I'm sorry I ran, I headed to one of the Monster Attack Shelters." Denki answered. "How're you guys?"
"I'm relatively fine, Mineta had to go to the emergency room because that monster cracked one of his ribs."
"Look, I'm sorry I ran off without you guys, I should've-" Denki began apologising until Hanta cut him off.
"It's okay, I'm not mad at you for running, it's not like you could've done anything against that thing." Denki looked down in guilt at the comment. "I gotta go, hopefully we can meet up sometime soon and not get attacked by a monster." and with that Hanta ended the call, leaving Denki alone with his thoughts and self-doubt.
…
THE NETHERWORLD
"Haha, the water is definitely rising!" Octoroo celebrated after checking the Sanzu river's water level.
"And I feel as good as new." Rofer shouted from the river, the cracks on him now fully healed.
"Huh, I guess you actually got some bite to that bark of yours." Dayu said, impressed.
"Yeah well it's not much water, but it's progress." Octoroo clarified. "Rofer! I'll need you to head back there soon."
"Will do! I just need a horde of moogers to go with me." Rofer stated as he climbed on board. "I just need them to distract the rest of the rangers, I gotta finish things with that pesky Green Ranger!"
…
Denki lay in his bed, when he got home his parents were worried after seeing the bandage on his cheek, but he managed to calm them down by lying that he'd merely tripped and hit a rock. He was unable to sleep, a combination of his injuries and what Ji had said to him earlier, he pulled out his Samuraizer and began fiddling with it while thinking back to what Ji had said.
"What were you thinking!?"
"You're not fit to fight off a horde of moogers by yourself, let alone a full on Nighlok."
"Figure out a way to handle the Nighlok's attack, if you can't then return your Samuraizer and give up being a Samurai Ranger."
'Damn it! Is he right? Hell, why does he have to be such a jerk?' Denki's mind began racing, thinking back on everyone else at the Shiba house. 'Iida's such a jerk, "oh look at me, i'm from a prestigious line of heroes" give me a break!' 'Uraraka and Midoriya seem nice i guess, plus i got mad respect for Midoriya for doing this for months.' 'Jirou seems tough but hey, at least she came out to check up with me after Ji yelled at me, heh, her quirk must suck if those things… got… tangled…-!' Denki then shot up before rushing to change and go outside.
…
Izuku quietly snuck through the gate of the Shiba house, trying his best not to alert Ji or the Kuroko of his presence. He walked over to grab one of the training swords, then walked to the centre of the training grounds before getting into a combat stance.
…
Some time later, Denki made his way down to Takoba municipal beach park. At the park's entrance, he found a stick that would work, he grabbed it and walked through the park's entrance. When he got to the beach itself, he got down into a running stance. 'It's gonna be hard to dodge his attacks, but-'
…
'I need to sense it.' Izuku thought. 'I need to sense his attack.'
…
'I gotta try, and give it everything I got!' Denki broke out in a sprint.
…
Izuku remained motionless, waiting to sense something, anything.
…
Denki then quickly stopped and spun around, performing a few slashes.
…
Izuku's eyes shot open.
…
'Everything I got!' Denki began running again before jumping up, raising the stick high above his head.
…
Izuku readied himself to attack, tightening his grip on his sword. 'Now!'
…
"Ha!" The two both striked, ready for whenever the Nighlok would return.
…
And soon enough, he would return. The following day, Rofer re-emerged from the NetherWorld, this time with a horde of Moogers in tow. When they arrived, they began attacking civilians at random. "Where do you think you're going!?" Rofer shouted, wrapping his arms around a large group of civilians before tightening his grip on them. "You all ought to thank me for killing you now, do you have any idea how hard it is to swim through the Sanzu River?!"
Before he could cause any severe injury to them, a small red blur slashed at his left arm while a small blue blur slashed his right. Rofer released his grip on the group and spun around to see the Pink, Red, Blue and Yellow Samurai Rangers, accompanied by the Kuroko. "Rangers together, Samurai Forever!" The Rangers shouted, striking their signature battle pose.
"Rangers together 'ay?" Rofer said before looking around. "I coulda sworn there was a green one, where's he?"
"Eh… he's…" Ochako was cut off by a nearby shout.
"Right here!" A morphed Denki shouted as he ran in from the side, he then unsheathed his sword before striking a battle pose. "Green Samurai Ranger, ready!"
"You're back!" Kyouka said, a bit surprised.
Denki looked back at the rangers. "Hey Red! I'm sticking it to the old man." he then pointed his sword at Rofer. "I'm taking this guy on, all by myself!"
"W-what?" Tenya said confusedly.
"Heh, Really?." Rofer chuckled before slamming his fists together. "Well then, Bring it!"
Denki then ran at him, cutting his way through the Moogers. "He can't be serious." Tenya facepalmed as Denki ran into the horde.
"We'll talk about it later, let's move!" Izuku said before running at the Moogers, the other Rangers following his lead. Denki cut down a couple of Moogers before running at Rofer while the other rangers attacked the Moogers, eventually managing to divide them into four groups; they then finished them off with their elemental attacks.
"Blazing Strike!" Izuku sent a raging burst of fire at the Mooges, burning most of them to a crisp.
"Dragon Splash!" Tenya launched a tidal wave of Scalding water at the Moogers, knocking them to the ground.
"Airway!" Ochako sent a powerful gust of wind at the Moogers, causing them to slam into nearby structures and each other.
"Seismic Swing!" Kyouka launched a shock wave at the Moogers, the ground beneath them flipping over before crushing them.
While Izuku managed to deal with most of his Moogers, a few stragglers managed to survive. Upon seeing this, Izuku pulled out a silver Spin disc that contained Thunder Symbol power and attached it to his Spin sword before spinning it, electricity began crackling around the blade. "Lightning Fury!" Izuku then sent forth a lightning storm, frying the remaining Moogers.

Denki ran at Rofer, slashing at him. Rofer merely blocked the attack with his fist before throwing a barrage of punches, knocking Denki back several metres. "That all ya got!?" Denki shouted as he got up.
"Heh, I guess you didn't get enough of my special move huh?" Rofer said, cracking his knuckles before raising his fists. "Extending-"
Denki quickly turned around, getting into a running stance. 'Well, here goes nothing!'
"Arms!" Rofer shouted, slamming his fists into the ground.
Denki then bolted, running as fast as he could while Rofer's fists began crashing in and out of the ground behind him. "You wanna hit me? You gotta catch me first!" Denki shouted.
"Your big plan is running away? Damned coward!" Rofer shouted back, his fists gaining more ground.
Denki kept moving forward, sliding over the hood of a parked car before Rofer's fists smashed through it.
Denki then rounded a corner, out of Rofer's field of vision, Rofer scoffed at this. "Heh, you think just because you're outta my sights means my fists will lose you!? Once my fists are near ya, I'll be able to sense where you are!" Rofer's fists began growing closer and closer, smashing through the pillars of the building Denki was running next to.
Denki kept running before then jumped over a railing, landing in a dumpster below, he then jumped out right before Rofer's fist slammed into it. 'Holy crap, that was close!' Denki kept running, eventually making his way to a parking garage. "Hey come on! Are ya even trying to hit me?" Denki asked, mocking as Rofer's fists followed him into the structure. Denki then stopped at the Parking garage's entrance, finding Rofer who then turned back to look at him. "Miss me?"
"No, I won't!" Rofer shouted as his fist rocketed at Denki, it was so fast, there was almost no time to react. Luckily, Izuku stepped in, blocking the attack with his sword. "Heh, nice blocking my fist, too bad i got two of them!" Rofer's other fist came barreling through, slamming into Izuku and pinning him into a concrete pillar. Denki didn't waste any time as Rofer's fist flew at him, he quickly ran at Rofer and jumped over him, then grabbing him from behind. "hey! What're you doing!?"
"Giving you a dose of your own medicine!" Denki shouted, using the Nighlok as a shield as his own fist slammed into him.
"Arrgh!" Rofer reeled in pain from his attack. "Damn you, now I'm gonna-" Rofer began retracting his fists, only for them to get tangled up in the Parking garage's concrete pillars. "Hey! What's going on? I can't bring my arms back!"
'My plan worked!' Denki grinned under his helmet. "That's what you get for being so pompous!" Denki then pulled out the Bear Forest Spin disc and attached it to his sword before spinning it, a spiral of leaves and flora began spinning around the blade. "Forest Vortex!" he shouted, running at Rofer and cutting through him, Denki ran his thumb up the edge of his sword as the Nighlok collapsed and exploded, his extended arms being forcefully pulled into the fireball.
As Izuku began to recover from Rofer's attack, the other Rangers arrived. "Kaminari, that was so cool!" Ochako complimented him.
"Not bad, but you should've anticipated that surprise attack, you're lucky-." Tenya began criticising before Kyouka cut him off.
"Lighten up Iida." Kyouka said before turning to Denki. "Good job Kaminari."
Denki looked down while rubbing the back of his neck. "Thanks… i- wait a minute, Were you guys just sitting back watching me fight that guy!?"
As the three began thinking of a reply, Rofer began Transforming into his Giant Form. "You may have won Round Two Green Ranger, But i will not lose to you Again!" Rofer shouted as he emerged from the fiery inferno.
"Well you guys sit back and enjoy the show." Denki said, stretching before pulling out his Zord and Samuraizer. "Cause I'm still taking this guy out all by myself!" he shouted as he used his Symbol Power to enlarge his Zord.
Rofer laughed as the Bear Folding Zord began charging at him. "Heh, think that hunk of junk stands any chance against me?!" He then spat out some orange substance that exploded when it made contact with the Bear Zord.
"What the hell was that!?" Denki shouted, very much grossed out by the surprise attack, the Bear Zord then got up on its hind legs and began mauling the Nighlok.
"This is getting boring." Rofer growled, lifting one of his legs back. "Die!" He then hit the Zord with a full force kick, knocking it back several blocks.
Just as the Bear Zord was about to crash into a building, the other Zords arrived to catch it and cushion the impact. "Hey! What Are you guys doing!? He's mine!" Denki shouted when seeing the other Zords.
Izuku pulled out his Samuraizer and wrote out the kanji for combine (合). "Zords Combine!"
"What the!? No! No Samurai combination!" Denki shouted after his Zord began transforming into the right leg.
Nevertheless, the five Zords combined into the Samurai Megazord. "Samurai Megazord, we are-"
"No, we are Not united!" Denki interrupted before turning to Izuku. "I told you, i'll beat this guy all-"
"Kaminari!" Kyouka interrupted. "Could you not? We're in the middle of a battle."
"We'll talk after we defeat him." Izuku said before turning his attention back to the Nighlok. "Here he comes!"
Denki returned to his podium as Rofer began spitting out the substance towards the Megazord, the Megazord stopped the attack with its shield as it began charging towards the Nighlok. "Time to finish you pesky Rangers off!" Rofer shouted as he lifted his arms into the air. "Extending Arms!" He then slammed his fists into the ground, a large cloud of debris erupting from the impact, the nearby buildings rumbled and shook as his giant fists moved throughout the underground.
The Megazord placed Its shield on its back before getting into a combat stance. "So, What's the plan?" Denki asked.
"We'll use our instincts to sense his attack." Izuku stated. "And after that, we'll counter it."
"Are you sure about that plan?" Denki asked.
"Trust me." Izuku said as he closed his eyes, the other rangers followed suit, leaving the cockpit in complete silence. The Megazord too stood motionless as the ground beneath it shook.
"Taking a nap during our battle 'ay? Well, nap as long as you like!" Rofer shouted as his fists launched out of the ground and at the Megazord, one fist came from the front, the other came from behind.
Izuku's eyes shot open. "Now!" He shouted. The Megazord then performed a three-sixty degree slash, cutting off both of Nighlok's arms in one fell swoop.
"Arrgh!" Rofer stumbled back in pain. "you- you Dis-armed me!"
"Don't worry about it, you won't have to live long without them." Denki said as he and the other Rangers pulled their swords from their podiums.
"Katana Power!" They shouted as they spun the Spin discs, the Megazord prepared to strike as its sword began glowing with Symbol power. "Samurai Strike!"

The Megazord cut through Rofer, the Nighlok fell to the ground before erupting in a fiery explosion as the Samurai Megazord struck a victory pose. "Samurai Rangers, victory is ours." Izuku said, folding up his Sword and attaching it to his belt.
While the other Rangers celebrated their victory, Denki had something else on his mind.

The rangers walked through the Shiba house's large gate, the other Rangers complimented Denki on his earlier win fighting the Nighlok. "It was genius how you used that guy's stretchy arms against him!" Ochako said, pumping her fist in the air.
"That was a risky strategy you used-" Tenya said, only to get an elbow from Kyouka. "but it was very effective."
"Pretty smart move back there Kaminari, how'd you come up with it?" Kyouka asked.
Denki blushed, but before he could answer, Ji walked out of the main building. "You five did well out there, especially you, Young Kaminari." Ji congratulated them. "You managed to defeat that Nighlok's first life, all by yourself, perhaps i was wrong about-"
"No." Denki interrupted. "Earlier when I was fighting him, he almost got the drop on me. I only managed to beat him because Midoriya took the hit for me." he said before falling to his knees. "You were right, I am a level below everyone else, I can barely use my quirk effectively, so learning to use Symbol power has been hard." he then looked up at Ji. "But please, let me keep fighting."
Ji looked down at Denki before kneeling down to him. "Kaminari, i never intended to make you give up on becoming a Samurai Ranger, i only lied to you so that you'd try your hardest to defeat the Nighlok."
"...Eh?" Denki blurted out.
Ji smiled before helping the blonde to his feet, he then sent a glare at Ochako, Tenya and Kyouka. "You three on the other hand, you just sat there and watched him run for his life!"
"Uh, mentor we can explain-" Tenya spoke up, only to be hit on the head with a training sword.
"Five hundred characters, from each of you!" Ji ordered, the three took a walk of shame into the main building with Denki about to follow them before being stopped by Ji. "Not you, your five hundred can wait for another day." he said before handing him the training sword, Denki took it then turned to look at the training grounds where he saw Izuku grabbing a training sword as well.
Denki grinned before walking towards Izuku, the two assumed combat stances before attacking, their blades clashing against each other. "Ha!"
