"Obviously this brother of yours is insane!" I gagged from my spot against the wall where the group was sitting. "And to top it all off, this guy has gone coo coo too!"

"You're not doing this alone," Rick intervened in a more level tone, staring straight at Glenn.

Daryl huffed from his place against one of the metal desks in the office with a dry tone. "Even I think it's a bad idea, and I don't even like you much."

"It's a good idea, okay, if you just hear me out. If we go out there in a group, we're slow, drawing attention. If I'm alone, I can move fast," Glenn reasoned from the ground next to T-dog, drawing a map of the street on the ground. He searched around for objects to mark the tank and the bag of guns. "Look. That's the tank, five blocks from where we are now. That's the bag of guns. Here's the alley I dragged you into when we first met. That's where Daryl and I will go."

"Why me?" Daryl demanded, still in a sour mood.

Glenn didn't react much to it, just staring at him.

"Your crossbow is quieter than his gun, genius," I interrupted.

"While Daryl waits here in the alley, I run up the street, grab the bag."

"You got us elsewhere?" Rick inquired. Glenn pointed down the street on the model.

"You and T-Dog, right. You'll be in this alley here."

"Two blocks away? Why?"

"He might not be able to come back the same way. Walkers might cut him off," I intervened again, nodding at the guy on the floor. They stared at me with a strange expression. I shrugged before picking at my nails.

"If that happens, I won't go back to Daryl. I'll go forward instead, all the way around to that alley where you guys are. Whichever direction I go, I got you in both places to cover me. Afterwards, we'll all meet back here," Glenn emphasized after a short nod of acknowledgement towards me.

"And what do I do?" I stepped away from the wall, approaching Glenn. "You neglected that part."

"You're injured, it's best if you stay on the sidelines," T-Dog supplied.

"Then what was the purpose of bringing me over, hm?"

"I think it's best if you stay away from this," Glenn softly stopped me from snapping at the others. I turned on him, frustrated. "We might need backup, and we need a way to meet back here. If something happens, who's gonna hold fort?"

I stared at him, searching for even a small amount of pity or worry for me, only to find that there was nothing but genuine honesty in his brown eyes. After a moment of tense silence, I nodded, backing off.

"Hey, kid, what'd you do before all this?" Daryl asked.

"I delivered pizzas." Glenn frowned, tilting his head at the two men. I snorted while Rick raised his eyebrows, impressed, before sharing a look with Daryl.

"I delivered pain," I supplied at the questioning look Rick sent me.

"That got dark real quick," Glenn murmured to himself.
