Hello, bots and cons. Centurion here and welcome back to Dustformers: Season 2. I'm sorry it took me a long while to get back to this tale, but I have returned! In the last chapter, Wasp made it to Remnant and talks with Jaune regarding Bumblebee, Weiss and Jaune have a heartfelt moment, Ruby, Hightrail, and Yang have a conversation regarding the Dinobots, and we saw a new member of Straxus's forces: Novawing on Cybertron.
I'm excited to start this multi-parter because it means we're getting closer to writing another multi-parter I'm even more excited to get to, but we still have a way to go before we get to that point.

Now, let's begin the newest multi-parter! It's time to Wreck 'N' Rule!
*Cybertron. Sea of Rust. Autobot Base. Unknown Time*
A sky blue and white Cybertronian Roadster was speeding through the Sea of Rust in a hurry. When he got to a specific pile of rusted junk, it transformed to robot mode. The robot mode had a femme figure and ran to a specific opening in the junk pile. A mile later, the femme reached an underground Autobot base. "Good to have you back, Melodia." A light green and yellow Autobot smiled.
"Good to be back, Springer." Melodia smiled back. "Any word from Rotostorm and Guzzle?"
"They just did their routine check-in four cycles ago." Springer answered. Hearing this had Melodia sigh in relief.
"Melodia, you're back! Thank Primus!" A young white and red Autobot cheered.
"Patch!" Melodia hugged Patch with a thankful smile.
"Good. You're back. I was getting worried for a nano-klik." A military green and white Autobot voiced.
"Sorry, Surplus." Melodia apologized. "How are you doing?"
"Just about healed up." Surplus responded. "Thankful for any good point."
Just then, a hot pink, and ruby red Cybertronian Sonic Jet entered from a top compartment in the base and transformed to robot mode. "I'm back, everyone." The new Autobot said in a female tone.
"Airshock!" Melodia cheered.
"Melodia! You're okay!" Airshock hugged her best friend. "Springer, Novawing came close to finding our base. No doubt Straxus is going to send a small, but powerful force to the Sea of Rust."
"I don't doubt that at all." Springer agreed. "Straxus wants to see us all wiped out." Suddenly, multiple blasts sounding like bombs were heard outside the base. "Seems Straxus has already started looking to weed us out."
"Then we have no choice but to defend this base." Surplus growled.
"Or we could move on and make a new base, just saying. I'm not a coward, I'm just speaking logic." Airshock voiced.
"No one's accusing you, Airshock." Springer reassured. "However, most of us will evacuate to a new base in the Sea of Rust while some of us will stay and fight. Surplus, you're going with them."
"Very well, Springer." Surplus sighed. "Just remember that I can teach you youngins new tricks."
Springer chuckled. "I remember, Surplus. Alerting all Autobots, this is Springer. It is time to evacuate the base. Guzzle, Rotostorm, Ember Bolt, Pyro, and myself will stay behind and ensure the rest of you escape. Good luck, Autobots."
"Come back alive, Springer." Melodia partly ordered.
"Are you kidding? I've got better things to do tonight than die!" Springer grinned as he began to activate the base's auto defenses.
The base's auto guns began to shoot down the Vehicon Transports, one by one. However, a red, red-orange, orange-yellow, and yellow Cybertronian Jet flew in and made short work of three pairs of auto guns. "Report, Quickscorch." Straxus called in.
"Lord Straxus, the Autobots have foolishly revealed themselves to us and I have just taken care of some of their defenses." Quickscorch reported.
"Not a bad start, Quickscorch. Reinforcements will arrive at your location shortly. I am deploying Skyblitz and Stormcut to aid you while the others complete our big projects." Straxus explained.
"Affirmative, my lord." Quickscorch confirmed.
"No need to say more, Quickscorch. We're already here." A plum and pink Cybertronian Jet snarkily replied.
"You said it, sis." A periwinkle blue and lemon yellow Cybertronian Jet added.
"This reminds me why Straxus favors you two as reinforcements. You two are fast to get to the target location, wherever it may be." Quickscorch chuckled. "Now, let's roast us some Autobots!"
"YEAH!" Skyblitz and Stormcut shouted excitedly as they began shooting missiles at the Autobot base, taking out more auto guns. Luckily, the base had plenty of auto guns, but they were running out fast.
"We're losing our defenses fast, Springer!" Ember Bolt shouted. "If we're going to evacuate ourselves, we'd better do it soon!"
"I know!" Springer retorted. "How's the progress with the evacuation of the other Autobots?"
"95%, buddy!" Guzzle reported. "We're nearly there!"
"Okay! We just have to hold these bastards off for a few more cycles!" Springer had a look of determination on his faceplate. He had to ensure the evacuation was 100% complete.
"That's it! Every last Autobot is evacuated! Pyro informed. "Now, we can go all out!"
"Then let's do it!" Rotostorm agreed as the remaining Autobots headed out while the remaining auto guns were still online. After they came outside, they saw Quickscorch, Skyblitz, Stormcut, and Vehicons destroying the base. Rotostorm and Springer transformed into their airborne vehicle modes while Ember Bolt, Guzzle, and Pyro transformed and headed toward the invasion force.
"Here we go!" Guzzle screamed as he began firing at Straxus's forces. Multiple Vehicons were goin down like flies. The three Decepticons however evaded Guzzle's shells. "Eat it, scrapheaps!"
"Good work, Guzzle!" Rotostorm complimented as he and Springer came up behind the enemy and started firing. More Vehicons went down. Skyblitz and Stormcut noticed and fired their own weapons at the two Wreckers who barely managed to dodge the enemy projectiles.
"Whoo! Take this!" Ember Bolt unleashed a flurry of missiles at the Decepticons, one of which hit Stormcut in the wing causing him to hit the ground, hard. "Yeah, take that, Stormcut!" Suddenly, Ember Bolt got blasted in the back by unseen Vehicon Troopers being quickly engaging in a swordfight with Skyblitz who was attacking viciously out of anger of her brother being harmed. Ember Bolt slashed Skyblitz's backside. The Decepticon retaliated by slicing off Ember Bolt's leg, causing the Wrecker to go down in pain, energon spilling out of the new wound.
"You like it now, Ember Bolt?" Skyblitz taunted. "No? Too bad, soo sad." Skyblitz aimed her weapon when she was suddenly shot in the back by an elderly Autobot with a metal cigar in his mouth.
"KUP!" Ember Bolt exclaimed with a huge smile.
"Must I bail you guys out every single time, turbo-revving young punks?" Kup sarcastically asked while transforming into his vehicle mode. "Hop on!" Ember Bolt did just that and they sped off, with Guzzle, Springer, Pyro, and Rotostorm in tow.
"Damn it! AUTOBOTS!" Stormcut screamed at the top of his audio processors.
Quickscorch transformed to robot mode. "They got away for now, Stromcut. We'll find them again and destroy them once and for all." He reassured his comrade.
*Remnant. Vale. Vale Forest. The Ark. Main Lobby. 10:00 am*
The Autobots were investigating an Autobot signal that just appeared on the scanners. "I wonder who this new Autobot is." Wheeljack pondered.
"I can go out and check it out just in case it's a trap." Ironhide suggested.
"Alright, Ironhide. You and Hound will go to the location of that Autobot signature." Optimus instructed.
"Yes, sir." Ironhide and Hound transformed into their respective vehicle modes and headed out. Wheeljack opened the ground bridge which the two went through.
"With the Commandos on the Decepticon side, we need all the Autobots we can get that land on this planet." Wildfire commented.
*Vacuo. 20 miles outside Vacuo Grand City. 11:31 am*
The red robot was in vehicle mode which turned out to be a modified M551 Sheridan Tank. "I wonder if any Autobots will be able to find me." However, as soon as he said that, a ground bridge opened up close to him which Hound and Ironhide came through. The Autobot scanned the two and sighed in relief. "Hey, you two! Bam! Over here!"
Hound and Ironhide turned to see the tank and saw it had the Autobot symbol. "There's only one Autobot whose vehicle mode is a tank, even back on Cybertron." Hound commented.
"Oh, no. Not him." Ironhide groaned.
"Oh, yeah, old-timer. POW! It's me!" The Autobot cheered.
"Warpath." Ironhide continued groaning. "Didn't think I'd see you again, kid."
"Really? Bam! You still calling me kid?" Warpath asked.
"Compared to me, you're still a kid." Ironhide deadpanned.
"Why are you here, Warpath?" Hound asked, wanting to get right to the point.
"I'm here to warn all of you and to help out in any way I can." Warpath answered.
Ironhide sighed in exasperation. "Then you'd better come with us to the base."
"Wheeljack, reopen the ground bridge. We found the Autobot and you won't believe who it is." Within seconds, the ground bridge reopened and the trio went through.
*Vale. Vale Forest. The Ark. Main Lobby. 11:44 am*
"WARPATH?!" Everyone but Optimus Prime exclaimed.
"Hey, everyone! Ka-Pow!" Warpath exclaimed. He then spotted the kids and knelt down to see them more clearly. "Who are you little guys?"
"I'm Ruby. This is Weiss, Blake, Yang, Jaune, Nora, Pyrrha, and Ren." Ruby introduced. "We've been helping them fight the Decepticons. Jaune killed a Con' named Crossvolt."
"Now, that's an accomplishment! How did you do it?" Warpath asked.
"Jaune unleashed some kind of power and became an Autobot named Arcknight." Zig explained.
"The same thing happened with Nora here. She became Valkyria!" Zag cheered.
"Let's not forget Weissy here!" Wildfire grinned. "She transformed into Frostsprite and put a little scare into Starscream." Hearing this caused Warpath to start laughing for a minute before calming down again.
"Now, what is it you've come to warn us about, Warpath?" Optimus asked.
"It's simple: Has to do with Cybertron." Warpath answered simply, causing everyone minus Optimus to gasp loudly.
"What's going on with home?" Elita asked.
"One word: Straxus." Warpath answered with dead seriousness not really known to Warpath. Hearing that name caused all the Autobot's optics to widen and leave the kids confused as hell.
"Straxus?! I thought he left Cybertron long ago!" Ratchet exclaimed.
"No. He just went underground, waiting for the right moment. He's risen to power." Warpath corrected.
"Sorry to interrupt, but who is Straxus?" Yang asked.
"Straxus is a relentless warlord. A destroyer, without mercy or remorse." Ratchet growled.
"So, basically he's another Megatron?" Ruby asked, a little confused.
"NO! Not at all." Ratchet continued with a grave tone. "Straxus is very unpredictable with his motives. He's, in my opinion, a lot more dangerous than Megatron. He even has the nickname 'Devil of Darkmount'. He has his own Decepticons, his own fleet, and his very own command ship called the Warworld. He sometimes gave Megatron a run for his energon. I can't even imagine what he's capable of now that he's popped back up."
Hearing Ratchet's description of Straxus made the kids shudder. "Warpath, are there any Autobots left on Cybertron? We know many left during the Exodus." Snipewing asked.
"Springer's still there along with some other Autobots, including Wreckers." Warpath answered, making the Autobots feel incredibly relieved that some of their brothers and sisters were still on their home planet fighting the good fight.
Later, Warpath was with the Autobots on routine patrol as well as being taught about Remnant and its people. "Wow, so you eight have been helping out the bots' fight the cons'?"
"You bet, Warpath!" Nora grinned. "I'm surprised Ironhide here didn't mention you from before you came here."
"W-Well, that's because he gives me a headache, honestly." Ironhide groaned. "Plus, he's rendered himself partially deaf thanks to how loud he is."
"I can still hear you, old-timer!" Warpath retorted. "Bam! I'm surprised you're still not rusty enough to keep up!"
"Hey!" Nora shouted. "Ironhide's one of the best, toughest bots ever seen!"
Ironhide chuckled at Nora's defense of him. "It's okay, Nora." Suddenly, a loud boom was heard. Seconds later, Vehicons, Slipstream, Sunstorm, Strikecharge, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Trap Widow, and Soundwave landed all around them. "Well, this is just great!"
"Decepticons: Attack!" Soundwave ordered and the Vehicons and Decepticons charged at the Autobots. Blaster fire was then flying all over the place. "BAM! POW!" Warpath jumped up and fired his tank cannon while in robot mode, blasting Vehion parts all over the area. "Take this! You're dealing with a Wrecker here!" He was partly laughing while crushing Vehicons.
Ironhide was just using his fists, punching through Vehicon Drones like they were nothing, their energon spilling all over the ground. "That all you got?" He taunted. Skywarp and Thundercracker tried to rush him, but this was Ironhide they were facing, so he wasn't intimidated in the slightest. He simply kicked them both directly in the chestplate, and then punched them in the face.
Wheeljack was using his Shock Mines to electrocute Vehicons into going offline while at the same time dodging blaster fire. However, he was punched into a tree by Soundwave, knocking him unconscious. "Wheeljack!" Wildfire screamed. She then ran at Soundwave and fired her weapons, but Soundwave easily maneuvered around every shot like it was nothing. He then performed a sweep kick, knocking Wildfire off her feet. Fortunately, Wildfire managed to get back up fast enough and continue the fight.
"Time to die, Arcknight!" Strikcharge ran at Arcknight who dodged to the side. Arcknight brought out his sword and slashed Strikecharge along the front chasis. The Decepticons screamed in rage as he fired electricity from his arms, hitting Arcknight, but not really doing much to him as he had his shield out. "Come on! Fry!" Arcknight merely rolled his optics in exasperation at hearing Strikecharge spout this out.
Suddenly, Flamewar shrieked in intense pain. When she looked to the source, her optics widened. It turned out a double-pointed harpoon was now sticking out of her left hip joint. "What the frag?!" The harpoon then threw her to the ground, causing her to scream in pain more. This harpoon did the same thing to the other Decepticons on various parts of their bodies except Soundwave who managed to deflect the harpoon expertly. However, the harpoon kept coming at the Decepticon comms expert. Quickly finding out where the harpoon was coming from, he opened a ground bridge to report to his master with the others in tow.
"Wow! If you're a bot', thanks! We almost bought it back there!" Ruby smiled.
However, what the Autobots saw next shocked them more than the Dinobots. It was a purple and yellow-orange Autobot with a harpoon for a right hand, various scarring on it's chasis, and a slight glare in it's blue optics. "Hey, Autobots. It's been a long time."
"IMPACTOR?!" All the Autobots minus Wheeljack who was still unconscious shouted at the top of their audio processors.
Hello, everyone. I hope you all liked the first part of Wreck 'N' Rule! Now, not only are we back on Cybertron for a bit of this chaper, but we've seen Springer, Guzzle, Rotostorm, Pyro, and a couple of OC Wreckers: Surplus, Kup, and Ember Bolt along with more OC Autobots: Melodia, Patch, and Airshock fighting against Straxus and his forces on Cybertron, Warpath and Ironhide make contact with each other, much to the latter's chagrin, and Impactor is on Remnant. However, the Remnant Autobots know of Straxus thanks to Warpath. Though, a piece of bad news is that Wheeljack has been knocked unconscious. How will this, if any, affect the Autobots' resident gadget man?
We see more of Straxus' forces in the forms of Quickscorch, Skyblitz, and Stormcut attacking the Autobot resistance base. Also, I hope you like the nickname given to Straxus.
Little Factoid #1: Surplus is about Kup's age.
Little Factoid #2: Skyblitz and Stormcut are siblings. Skyblitz is younger than Stormcut.
Little Factoid #3: Warpath is one of my all-time favorite Autobots because he's awesome, eccentric, and his alternate mode is a fricking tank! In this story, he's got his G1 mode with modifications.
Little Factoid #4: As for the Wreckers, I'm using the roster from the IDW and Aligned Continuities, but with a few changes. One of these is Warpath himself being a Wrecker. If you think about it, it actually makes perfect sense for Warpath to be a Wrecker, so it really surprises me that he's never been apart of the Wreckers.

PS: I think Straxus could work as a main antagonist in a Transformers animated series, but more of an overarching shadow lurking in the background like Apocalypse from X-Men.
