Hello, bots and cons. Centurion here and welcome back to Dustformers: Season 2. I hope you're all enjoying this story's second season. In the last chapter, we had a couple emotional moments/scenes: Ironhide and Nora talking about Ironhide's past with Impactor, and Yang getting her mind stolen by Project: Mindfazer which resulted in Ruby crying out to the heavens and a bright light being unleashed.

Now, also in the last chapter, Wrecker Wheeljack has officially come out to play, the Autobots on Cybertron have been forced to retreat further into the tombs in the Sea of Rust meeting with Emirate Xaaron, and the fate of Mistral city hangs in the balance of the Autobots beating the Decepticons and taking down Project: Mindfazer.

Now, I realize some people may not be familiar with Emirate Xaaron, so in a simple character breakdown, he's essentially an Autobot dignitary. Not a fighter, but very strong in what he believes in.

These people give me ideas for chapters I work on and for future ideas and for that, I deeply thank them. I hope for their continued support as well as yours.

Nitro zeus: I know I haven't used Killmonger yet, but I will use him.

Now, let's get back into the action!

*Mistral. 100 KMs outside Mistral City. 16:42 pm*

The bright light died down seconds after it appeared, but what stood there was a red and black Transtector standing there. This one was more like Weiss's in terms of size, but a little shorter than hers. It also seemed to be built for speed rather than durability nor did it have heel-like extremities. Instead, it had wheels connected to its feet. "Transform! Head on!" Like with Jaune, Nora, and Weiss, Ruby connected with her Transtector. "Alright, Decepticreeps, prepare to face Rosebud!" Without giving the Decepticons time to react, she took out a pair of Subsonic Repeaters and started firing at them. Manic charged her, but she delivered a roundhouse kick to his head, knocking him down with surprising strength. "Time to break your little toy, Shockwave!" She started sprinting to the device before Manic could get his cranial chamber to stop spinning.

"Alright! Time to give Ruby some cover!" Weiss shouted as she summoned her Transtector and hopped inside it. "Transform! Head on!" Seconds later, Weiss once again became Frostsprite. While in flight, she brought out a Scatter Blaster for much needed coverage for Rosebud. However, Skywarp was closing in. Luckily for Frostsprite, she merely grinned as if she'd already planned ahead. Performing a ballet-esque move, she was able to move out of Skywarp's path to get behind him and fire a special Cryoshock Rifle, freezing up Skywarp's jets. Frostsprite merely kept her grin as the Seeker plummeted back to the ground, but not before Skywarp got a last shot in, hitting Frostsprite's right wing. She didn't scream out in pain, but she hissed a little.

Back on the ground, Ironhide was beating down on Maul while Maul was doing his very best to fight against the far older Autobot. "You think just because I'm old, I can't take you down?" He taunted. Maul just roared in anger, proceeding to transform to his beast mode. He then tried to chow down on the old Autobot's arm, but Ironhide retaliated by simply punching Maul in the head multiple times, then picking him up and suplexing him to the ground. "Alright. Who's next?!"

"Awesome!" Nora breathed, her eyes wide in awe, seeing Rosebud sprinting to Project: Mindfazer. Even though she could do the same thing, she was always amazed when it happened. "My turn to get in on this! Transform! Head on!" Nora's Transtector appeared and she linked with it. "Oh, yeah! Hey, Meanstrike! Let's go a round!" Meanstrike didn't say anything to Valkyria and simply met her in combat. In his Deathstalker mode, Meanstrike tried to crush her with his pincers or sting her.

Wheeljack was continuing his swordplay with Slipstream who still had his other Energy Katana. "I'm surprised you've managed to keep up this long despite being a scientist, Wheeljack." Slipstream growled.

"I'm full of surprises, Slipstream." Wheeljack kept his grin underneath his faceplate. They continued to parry, thrust, and attempting to find any openings. Wheeljack got a slash in on her right arm while Slipstream was able to cut open Wheeljack's right hip joint.

When Rosebud got close enough to touch Project: Mindfazer, she was suddenly shot at by Shockwave. "I will not allow a mere human in a Transformer body destroy my work." He answered in that same monotone.

"Your work is pure evil!" Rosebud screamed with anger. "You don't care about life at all! How can you be so heartless?!"

"It's not heartlessness, it's illogical to care about life. Logic dictates all." Shockwave cooly answered, but his optic seemed to glow brighter after he said that. Rosebud only shrieked in pure, unadulterated rage and attacked Shockwave, but Shockwave merely kicked her away a couple of feet. Regardless, she ran back at Shockwave who evaded all her punches and kicks with relative ease and then punched her near where the spark chamber would be and then kicked her down. "Your emotion clouds your judgement." He then gave a hard sidekick as she was getting back up. Rosebud decided it was time for a new tactic. Transforming into a Yamaha MT-10, she sped around the other side trying to find a weakness in the device.

Fortunately, Rosebud was providing a distraction for Pyrrha, Blake, and Ren to reach Project: Mindfazer and try to find a way to shut it down. "Alright, let's find a way to shut this thing down." Pyrrha said.

"If we know our way around Cybertronian technology enough." Blake brought up.

"Why would Shockwave build something without including an off switch?" Ren asked. "It wouldn't be logical to do so if any of his comrades were affected by accident."

"We've got to do something. Yang's mind is in there along with everyone's from Mistral City." Pyrrha reminded.

"And you won't have to worry about them for much longer because you'll be dead." Abyssica said as she landed. Blake and Ren ran to combat her while Pyrrha was using her semblance to tear the machine open exposing the circuitry.

"You have no chance of beating the Decepticons." Shockwave shot Rosebud in the left thigh, causing her to scream out in pain as she went down. "It would be more logical if you join the Decepticons instead. You'd have power, real purpose, and in Remnant customs for offers like this, lien beyond your wildest imagination. Refusal would only result in your destruction."

"You seriously deluded enough that I'll remotely consider accepting that?!" Rosebud shouted incredulously. "Your mind is so warped!" She finally landed a hit on Shockwave's gun arm's wires, causing it to lose power.

Back with Pyrrha, she was having no luck trying to destroy the device. "Goddamnit! There doesn't seem to be any way to disable the containment unit!" she slammed her javelin into the device which actually caused it to start sparking. "I must be close to the device's core if it's sparking! The only question is how to damage it further!"

Seemingly out of nowhere, a familiar looking harpoon smashed into the device, making it spark even more. Pyrrha looked at the harpoon. "Impactor?" She whispered before taking a picture with her scroll. Project: Mindfazer was starting to burn up. Small explosions started happening all over the machine "That harpoon must've hit a coolant valve. EVERYONE! IT'S GONNA BLOW!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.

As soon as the Autobots and other kids heard that, they began running to a safe distance. Rosebud picked up Yang's lifeless body and fled all the same. Shockwave ran to Projet: Mindfazer and tried to stop the overheat. When he realized he couldn't, he simply said "Soundwave, we require a ground bridge."

"Wait, we're retreating?!" Strikecharge shouted incredulously.

"Unless you want all your parts scattered for kilometers all around this area." Shockwave argued before walking through the portal.

"Grrrr…. Fine!" Strikecharge relented as he and the other Decepticons present fled through the ground bridge.

Seconds later, Project: Mindfazer finally exploded in a brilliant flash which Valkyria and Warpath stared at in awe. "Now that's a big boom." They both said before high-fiving each other.

A ton of blue lights flew out of the smoldering wreckage and back to Mistral City while the last one went back to Yang's body. Once it entered, Yang suddenly burst into life again, albeit groggily. "Ooonngghh… What happened?"

"YANG!" Ruby wrapped herself around her sister in tears, but with a giant smile on her face.

"Seriously, what happened? Did I get hypnotized by Hypnotica again?" She hoped that wasn't the answer.

"It's kind of a scary tale we'll tell you when we get back to your place." Jaune expressed. "Come on, let's get out of here. Our work is done." The Autobots and kids walked through their own ground bridge portal taking the remains of Project: Mindfazer with them instead of leaving them to continue burning in the evening sky.

*Cybertron. Darkmount. Unknown Time*

Straxus was walking toward the hangar of his fortress. "How is it progressing, Toxwave?" He asked a neon green and light blue Decepticon.

"I have most excellent news. The Warworld is once again ready for travel outside Cybertron, my lord." Toxwave smiled.

"Most excellent news indeed." Straxus smiled at his soldier.

"My lord. I have detected Decepticon signals on a planet far from Cybertron for some time now." Toxwave informed.

"Who is the one leading them on this planet and what is this planet's name?" Straxus asked slowly.

"The planet is called Remnant and the one leading the Decepticons there is… Megatron." Toxwave responded.

Straxus stood still and quiet for a couple minutes before finally chuckling darkly. "So, Megatron is still online even after all these stellar cycles. Good, all the better for when I extinguish his spark once and for all." His eyes glowed brighter than they'd ever have.

Hello, everyone. I hope you all liked the finale of Wreck 'N' Rule. Ruby has finally gotten her Transtector, naming it Rosebud, aiming to destroy Project: Mindfazer, but gets her ass handed to her by Shockwave barely able to inflict any damage to him. Meanwhile, Frostsprite has brought out a special Cryoshock Rifle and using it on Skywarp, Impactor shows up out of the blue and helps destroy Project: Mindfazer which results in all the minds being returned to their rightful places.

Wrecker Wheeljack will be back sooner than later. I hope people like him coming out to play, though. I was somewhat inspired by Transformers: Prime.

Now, onto Ruby's Transtector. It's name is Rosebud and when Ruby is linked to it, it can transform into a Yamaha MT-10 and is built moreso for speed rather than speed or combat. That doesn't mean it isn't good in combat, not at all. It's got some nifty bells and whistles like the other three. More will be revealed later on in the story.

Also, we return to Cybertron but pay attention to Straxus again this time and we see his ship: The Warworld as well as meet a new OC character of his own forces: Toxwave. Straxus also learns that Megatron's still alive and on Remnant and doesn't seem worried in the slightest. Who knows what he's got in store.
