Brittany's Point of View

Alison had just gotten to Disney Castle when I arrived. We hugged each other and then hugged Sora and Kairi before they began explaining what had happened. "Since the last time Light used Molly's body, we had noticed a concerning change with her. She wasn't having her episodes anymore, which should have been a good sign, but it was almost to an extreme. She stopped showing strong emotional responses to anything. We began to ask her questions about what Light had told her when Light took over again and threatened us. She told us that if we didn't stop asking questions, she would take Molly away, and we would never see her again. Knowing that she was keeping things from us about Molly made me angry. I tried to get her to give Molly her body back, but Light used her keyblade against us and took advantage of us not being able to bring ourselves to hurt our daughter," Sora explained.

"That's why we brought you two here," Kairi added. The corners of Alison's lips turned up into an evil smile. "Not to hurt her. We figured that since you both have the other two Forces, Darkness and Shadow, you may be able to help Molly better than we can." Alison's smile fell, and she looked disappointed.

"What if I just beat her up a little bit? I'm still mad about those times she got into my makeup, and that time she cut my hair while I was sleeping, and that time that-" Alison started.

"No," Kairi refused.

"Fine," Alison grumbled.

"I think I know what's going on. Even better, I think I even know where Light would have taken Molly."

"Shadow says she thinks she knows what's going on," I announce.

"Darkness does, too," Alison mentioned.

"Brittany, with your permission, I would like to use your body so that I can talk to Light myself. She might listen to me."

'If you think you can help.'

The world vanished.

"Where are we going?" I asked Shadow as I rose from the ground.

"It's a sacred place to keyblade wielders called Scala Ad Caelum."

"Never heard of it. Who lives there?"

"No one, now." Shadow paused before continuing. "Your grandfathers used to."

"Eraqus and Xehanort?" I asked.

"They trained there to become keyblade masters."

"Huh. I guess I never thought about it. I know they had to have trained somewhere, but I hadn't put much thought into where that would be."

"Light was very fond of that place, even before Eraqus. It was a place where we had lived many lifetimes."

"I would love to see it," I commented.

"Perhaps you will be able to... should everything go according to plan." Shadow began to sound ominous.

"And, if everything doesn't go according to plan?" Shadow didn't answer. "Shadow, what happens if everything doesn't go according to plan?"

"The worst-case scenario is the same as last time we found ourselves in a similar situation."

"And how did that end?" I inquired.

"Our hosts, they... they died. They all died," Shadow admitted.

"Wait, what?! No! No, no, no, no! We are not doing this! I can't die! I'm way too young! There has to be a better way!" I exclaimed.

"Look, things didn't go according to plan, then. We're going to make it. I won't let the same thing happen to you." Shadow held up fine on the outside, but the shakiness in her voice scared me.

"Shadow, what are you going to do?"

"We're going to try to talk Light out of continuing on as she is. She's being manipulative and forceful, which isn't good for her or her host. If she doesn't respond, we will have no choice but to battle her."

"Wait, you mean battle Molly?!"

Shadow took a deep breath. "Follow me." She walked to the edge of the platform, and a bridge appeared. I trailed along closely as we crossed the bridge. We approached a platform seemingly made of light, but I couldn't get too close. The light became so bright that my eyes hurt, and I had to turn back. "That area? That represents what Light has done to Molly's heart. Molly is truly lost if we cannot convince Light to back down. We will only do what we have to." I felt the warmth of the light getting closer and closer. "Why is...?" Shadow looked over her shoulder before looking back at me with terrified eyes. "Run!" We ran back to my platform, the light getting overwhelmingly strong. When we returned to my platform, I saw the light covering the bridge and making its way toward us. Shadow waved her hand, and the bridge shattered.

"What just happened? Was it supposed to do that?" I panted.

"No. It's worse than we thought."
