"We're almost there, the others are just up ahead." Alex said trailing alongside Blake his eyes shifted towards the main courtyard ahead of them, more importantly, the dozen or so familiar multi-coloured figures, engaging the Whitefangs main force.

The cat Faunus was panting heavily, the exhaustion- both mental and physical -from her battle against the Grimm, Adam and her own injuries were starting to take its toll on her, she wasnt sure if she'd even make to the bullhead docks in her condition, it wasnt the first time she'd been injured, during her time in the White fang she'd been shot at stabbed and almost blown up while on raids, there had been plenty of close calls for her over years, but, then again she'd never had an injury like this before.

As the pain in her abdomen worsened a wave of nausea washed over Blake, the world around shifting in and out of focus, her legs started to feel numb. Stumbling to the side she collapsed onto her hands and knees, a pained hiss shot past her clenched teeth. Alex skidded to a halt, he turned back just as she looked up at him tears streaming down her cheeks. "Leave me!" She called out to him. "Yang-"

"I'm not leaving you!" Alex cut her off as he knelt down beside her "Yang would never forgive me or herself if she knew the only reason she'd survived, was because I left you behind." Shifting Yang's weight so she hung over his left shoulder Alex wrapped his arm around Blakes' waist pulling the cat Faunus back to her feet alongside him. "Come on." He urged her "It's just a little further."

An energy bolt struck the ground in front of them halting Alex and Blake "You're not going anywhere traitor." Two White Fang grunts stepped into there path, a man with fox ears and a woman with a horses tail, raising their laser lances towards the trio, they began to close in " You or these humans. " Alex shifted to the side putting himself between Yang, Blake and the White Fang.

"What do we do about the humans?" The horse faunas asked her brother in arms.

"Adam only wants the traitor, they're fair game." he responded, she nodded back to him raising her laser lance towards Alex.

"Hey" A certain monkey faunas called out from the side, followed by two spectral clones slamming into the two WhiteFang grunts, the clones detonated on impact launching the grunts across the courtyard. "Guy's!" Sun yelled as he and Neptune sprinted over to the trio, stopping in front of them their eyes widened in shock at the sight of Yang's missing arm and her unnaturally still form.

"Is...is she?" Neptune trailed off, he didn't feel like finishing that question

"She's unconscious, we need to get her medical attention " Alex replied sharply "Grab Blake we have to go now!."

"Got it" The monkey faunas replied folding his weapon up and fixing it to his back he moved beside Blake hugging one arm around her lower back and under her knees, lifting her off the ground Blake winced her hands darting to her injured side. "Sorry" Sun apologised before turning to his partner "Nep, watch our back."

"On it" Neptune replied shifting his weapon into its energy rifle form following close behind the two as they sprinted back in the direction of the airdocks and a medic that could tend to Blake and Yang until help arrived.

Ruby, Weiss and Ben jogged alongside the others making their way up the cobblestone path towards the bullhead dock, the White Fangs had started pulling out halfway into the battle signalling that it was time they did the same. Closing in on the landing zone they saw the first airship launching with two atlesian bullheads escorting it.

"Ruby, Weiss!" A voice called out to them followed by a familiar figure emerging from the crowd of students.

"Neptune" Weiss responded in some relief "Where were you? You and Sun disappeared halfway through the fight."

"Yeah, about that..." Neptune trailed off solemnly.

"Neptune?" Ruby asked in slight worry, there was something he wasnt telling them.

Neptune looked up at the young leader his eyes filled with sorrow "Ruby...I...I..." He tried to find the words but eventually gave up, there was no real way he could break this to them gently, a long sigh slipping past his lip. Neptune stepped aside, giving the trio a clear view of something that shook each of them to their very cores.

Their teammates and friend lay a few feet away bloodied and beaten, with Yang unconscious and missing the lower half of her arm with what remained of Alex's jacket draped over her shoulders, Blake and Alex were sat beside her, the latter cradling the distraught cat Faunus in his arms, both girls having bandages wrapped tightly around their injuries. Behind them sat a now fully conscious Nora knelt down beside Ren both battered and bruised after their battle against the paladin, though despite being knocked unconscious during the fight Nora was in far better shape than her green-clad counterpart.

"No..." Ben whispered as Weiss covered her mouth in shock. Rubys form shook tears welling up in her eyes, wordlessly, she reached out towards them, after everything they'd gone through to get her back, this... this couldn't be happening, opening her mouth she tried to say something, anything, in the end, her hands, fell to her sides balling up into fists as she clenched her eyes shut tears trailing down her cheeks.

"I'm so sorry!" Blake said reaching out to her unconscious partner taking Yangs hand into her own as she wept.

"Wheres Koan?" Weiss asked

"He wasn't wit-"

"He's dealing with the bastard that did this." Alex cut Sun off. At any other time, in any other place, he would have gone back to the fight, he would have stopped DJ before he could take things to far, they'd bring Adam in and make sure he answered for everything he'd done here, but this time...

His eyes trailed down to Blakes sobbing form, Alex swallowed thickly, resting his hand atop her own he gave it a gentle squeeze, Blake shifted in his arms pushing her head further into the crook of his neck. "I'm sorry" she repeated, her voice shuddered with each word. This time, after what that son of a bitch did to Blake, to Yang and so many others... He was just fine with sitting back and letting DJ tear him apart.

"Hey." Sun said approaching the trio "They're going to be okay, the soldiers have a ship ready to take you guys to Vale."

"But Jaune and Pyrrha are still missing." Nora said rising back to her feet.

"What!?" Ruby said in shock.

"Look guy's, that giant Grimm keeps circling the school." Sun began trying to be the voice of reason. " Even the White Fang are pulling out, we all have to go...Now!" The monkey Faunus pressed

"We're not leaving- Guh!" Ren grunted clutched his side in clear pain, Nora spun on her heels, dropping down to her partner she moved him back into a sitting position.

A tense silence fell over the landing pad no one wanted to leave their friends behind, but right now they had the chance to escape this hell, going back for them meant marching right into it all, with the hope their friends had survived. "Ill find them" Ruby spoke her voice filled with determination "I'll find them and bring them back."

"No!" Weiss marched up to her partner "We will find them."

"Count me in." Ben said

"Renny?" Nora asked looking to her partner.

"I'll be fine" Ren replied, nodded in response Nora make her way over tot he trio

"Me too." She said.

Ruby's cast one final look back at her injured teammates "Alex?" She asked her voice hopeful, she'd thought he'd be the first one willing to go back for the others, but he hadn't said so much as a word. The Omni ranger lifted his head up towards them, staring at the red-clad reaper for a few seconds before his eyes dipped down towards Blake and Yang.

"I need to stay here... for now" Alex said, he wanted to go with her he wanted to make sure Pyrrha and Jaune were safe, but right now, he didn't think he could leave either of them not without knowing they'd be safe... And there was still Koan to worry about. If DJ was still in control when he got back he had to make sure he didn't hurt anyone.

"Koan's still out there and once he's finished with the White fang he'll make his way back here, I need to be here in case he isn't all that... stable when he arrives." Looking back up towards them he added. "Once he gets here and Blake and Yang are safe, I'll catch up and then we can finish this."

The red-clad reaper nodded in response "We'll be back." Ruby said, turning back towards the tower the four of them raced off down the cobblestone path.

"You better be" Sun called out to them, after a moment his shoulders sagged and a long sigh slipped past their lips "Idiots"

"Ragh!' Jaune slammed his shoulder into the locker door for what must have been the seventh time since he'd landed, he had to get out, he had to get back to Beacon, he couldn't let Pyrrha face them alone. "One more, one more!" He said, slamming his body into the door one last time the hinges holding the door in place buckled flinging the door open, Jaunes momentum carried him through and sprawling across the pavement.

Rolling onto his hands and knees Jaune looked back in the direction of Beacon, his hands dug through his pockets in search of his scroll, he still had time if he could just find his damn scroll he could get help, he could still stop her. Practically ripping his scroll from his pockets Jaune started flicking through his contacts landing on a familiar white-haired girls number.

Dialling the number he sat there waiting for it to connect "Come one, come one, pick up, please pick up." he muttered frantically.

A few seconds later the heiress answered. "Jaune, where are you?" She asked

"Weiss, please you have to stop her." Jaune yelled through his scroll his voice filled with worry and sorrow

"What?" Ben and Ruby asked

"Jaune where are you? Is Pyrrha with you?" Nora's voice came through.

"She's going after that woman at the top of the tower. You have to hurry she doesn't stand a chance!" Jaune pleaded, there was a moment of silence from those on the other side of the line before Weiss spoke up again.

"Jaune, what are you talking about? Where are you?" The heiress asked, Jaunes eyes widened in utter shock didn't they get it, didn't they understand, Pyrrha was in danger, why were they standing around wasting time while she was fighting against an enemy that was far too powerful even for her, if they didn't hurry she'd be killed.

"DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME!" Jaune bellowed into his scroll, before dropping onto his knees the emotional damn he'd been trying to hold back burst, his voice receding to a tone of pure sadness. "Please, you have to save Pyrrha..."

"We will." Weiss said "But are you oka-"Jaune screamed tossing his scroll aside the device shattering on contact with the pavement the call cutting off there, Jaune spun around driving his fist into the stone wall, recoiling a second later stumbling back he fell to his knees. "Please..." he whispered tears brimming at the edge of his eyes as he stared down at the pavement hopelessly. "Please, just save her."

"Oh my." A voice spoke up from behind him. "What do we have here?" Jaunes head snapped up in the direction of the voice, it sounded so familiar he just couldn't place it. She stood at the mouth of an alleyway cutting between two stores, her silhouette was outlined by the light of a small fire behind her, however, any distinguishable features she had were hidden by the darkness of the ally.

Stumbling back to his feet taking a deep breath pushing his current turmoil aside, there was a civilian wandering the streets during a wide scale assault by the Grimm "Ma'am, what are you doing here?" He asked why was she here and not at one of the kingdoms safe zones? "Y-you need to get to safety, the Grimm are everywhere it's not safe here." He pressed.

"Grimm?" She asked stepping out of the alleyway and into the light, she was around the same age as him with dark brown hair and magenta eyes, a single pink streak going through her bangs, she wore an open burgundy jacket on top of a black blouse, with slim grey jeans and knee-length black boots."They're no real issue to me." Crossing her arms behind her back she took a few steps closer to him. "But if I was in your position I'd be a little more worried about myself, Jaune." she said making the blond's eyes widen as he took a step back.

"How do yo-"Her eyes were engulfed by pink arc energy silencing the blond knight, with her eyes fading back to magenta she tilted her head to the side a small smile gracing her gentle features.

"Hello, my knight." Psycho pink said.

"You!" Jaune stumbled back his hand immediately darting for Corecea Mors, seconds later he had his sword and shield at the ready. The Psycho ranger chuckled in response, it would seem her little knight had grown some form of a spine since they'd last spoke, she took a step forward prompting Jaune to lash out at her, rolling her eyes Psycho pink stepped out of the path of Jaune sword, his shield shot up a second later to block an attack that never came.

"Hhmm" She hummed flashing him another smirk, it looked like he'd gotten better in a fight as well, good, he might actually be able to entertain her for a little while before they got down to business. "I see the invincible girls training's been paying off, a shame she won't be around to continue that training once Red and Cinder have had their fun with her."

"Shut up!." Jaune yelled eyes wide and full of fury as he hacked at the Psycho ranger, with each swing his movements became more sloppy and erratic, the stance and form Pyrrha had helped drill into him during their many spars and training regiments were discarded in a hurricane of fury and sorrow, just like she wanted. Catching Jaunes wrist she drove her knee into his stomach, the impact forcing the air from his lungs sending Jaune to his knees his aura crackling around his body, the blond knight gasped for breath as the psycho ranger paced around him.

"Be thankful Cinders there, she might actually finish her quickly" She mused staring off in the direction of beacon tower" If Red had his way, well..." A cruel chuckle slipped past the psycho ranger's lips, and Jaune grip tightened around the hilt of Corcea Mors.

"Raghhhhh!"Pushing himself onto his feet Jaune rushed psycho pink swinging his sword down at her neck, Psycho pinks hand lashed out catching the blade of Corcea Mors, an orb of eldrich black fire formed in her free hand, thrusting the orb into Jaunes chest launch him back, his body skipped across the tarmac earning several pained grunts from the blond knight before crashing back first into a streetlight.

"Now, now, that wasnt very nice." Psycho pink chided raising her free hand, firing a beam of black energy at Jaune, the beam broke off into several tendrils that wrapped around Jaune pinning him against the light, despite the pain coursing through his beaten body, Jaune kept struggling in an attempt to break free from the tendrils holding him captive.

"Go to hell." Jaune growled.

Psycho pink chuckled in response kneeling down in front of Jaune she reached out towards him, Jaune flinched away from her touch, but the Psycho ranger pressed on grasping him by the chin and tilting his head up so she could look him in the eye, his sapphire orbs hardened, staring back into her own in silent fury, he wasnt going to beg, he wasnt going to scream or give her the satisfaction of fear before she killed him.

"What are you waiting for?" He asked "Get it over with already." He'd already accepted his fate, to die by her hands and perhaps be reunited with his love in the world beyond, sadly she had other plans for him, for both of them.

"Shh~" Psycho Pink mused brushing her hand against Jaunes cheek "There's no need to be so distraught." He was far more useful to her alive, there was something about him something she'd been able to sense the same night she'd branded him as her knight, a power he had yet to fully tap into, something that may benefit her greatly in time.

But in order for that to happen, she needed time to study this strength, to learn all she could of its capabilities and how best it could be utilised to fulfil their needs, and in order for that to happen, she required Jaune to be, compliant. "You misunderstand my intentions here tonight." she continued her tone far softer than before.

"w-What?" He asked aloud as the tendrils holding him hostage started to unravel, burning away into a cloud of black embers that bathed their surroundings in a violate glow, a sudden weight settled in his lap drawing a startled breath from the blond knight. Straddling him Psycho pinks hands slid down past his shoulders settling on his chest plate, pushing Jaune back against the streetlamp, he felt his pulse quicken, his breathing hitch as she leaned in her hot breath brushing against his exposed skin.

"I don't want to hurt you, I want to help you." She whispered huskily into his ear making him shudder. "What would you say, if I could give you the power to save Pyrrha and the people closest to you" She pulled back, her face hovering only a few centimetres from his own "Would you like that, Jaune?"

He stared up at her for a few minutes "w-why?" He finally asked.

The psycho ranger hummed in response "Despite what you've may believe, we don't all just follow Red and that little tart he's taken a liking to so blindly. I have my own way of doing things, my own plans and desires, desires Red believes to be a waste of time, I, on the other hand, believe they may hold some merit, one in particular." She said her eyes never once wavered from his own. "My offer is a simple one Jaune... your life for hers."

"What?" Jaune muttered his eyes widening in both shock and confusion, she... she wanted him?

Psycho pink smiled in response "There's something about you, something that interests me and I'd like to find out what that little something is. In return" pulling her hand back from his chest, before engulfing it in eldrich flames a moment later, the flames congregated together forming an ebony black orb that hovered above her palm. "I will grant you the power needed to save your partner and the lives of your little friends."

Staring at the orb he felt a chill run up his spine, memories he had tried desperately to suppress fought their way to the forefront of his mind.

He was standing across from Pyrrha her weapon lay at her feet, her shield fixed to her back leaving her defenceless, meanwhile, his sword was raised high, ready to strike her down.

Even if it had been months since that day the memory of what he'd almost done still haunted him, and now, she wanted him to become that monster again under the guise that in doing so he could use that power to save his partner. It was a lose-lose either way, if he refused Pyrrha would die and Psycho pink would kill him, but if he accepted... he had no idea what would happen he'd be gone, consumed by that darkness like he was back in forever fall, there was a low chance she would actually let him save Pyrrha, but an even higher chance she would do nothing, or worse make it so he was the one to take her life.

"Tick, tock times running out." She said mockingly "What matters more to you, your freedom, or, the life of your little girlfriend."

"How do I know!?" He finally asked "If I... If I say yes, how do I know you'll keep up your end of the deal."

Her eyes narrowed as a cruel smile spread across her lips "You don't." she said her smile growing due to the look of turmoil spreading across the blonds face. "So, do we have a deal?" Jaune glanced down towards the orb and then back towards Beacon tower, either he did nothing and they both died tonight, or he could take the gamble and hope against all odds one of them would walk away from this.

Jaune slumped against the lampost his shaking hands tightened into fists and after a brief moment of silence, he gave her his answer.

/

It was done.

Cinder lowered her bow allowing the arrow she had knocked back to de-materialise. Even with the maidens full powers at her disposal and Psycho red at her side the Nikos girl had put up more of a fight then she'd anticipated, the girls combat prowess was nothing to scoff at and in conjunction with such a powerful semblence if they had faced each other on a more even playing field, the girl may have been a more prominent threat ... hmph, she could see why Ozpin thought she was worthy to bear the power she now wielded.

Had it been any other situation she might have complimented the girl on her performance. Even before acquiring the rest of the maiden power, there were very few individuals that could prove to be her equal, unfortunately, this was war, and in times of war, such things were considered poor form.

Psycho red stepped past her, rolling his shoulder he summoned his own sword as he closed in on the girl. Her arrow had pierced her heel, pinning her to the floor and her aura was all but nonexistent and yet she still insisted on fighting back, throwing a few meagre kicks with her undamaged leg at the Psycho Ranger.

Catching Nikos foot, Psycho red dragged Pyrrha towards him "A fighter right to the end, I like that." Red chuckled before slamming his boot into the side of Pyrrha's head, her lack of aura allowing her to feel the full brunt of Reds attack. Her own aura faired little better, although enough still remained that she could perform an escape, it would be needed with Ozpin slain, her ladies dragon awakened after so long and Beacon lying in ruin.

She'd arranged ahead of time for a Bullhead to be docked in the ruins at the edge of the emerald forest, with what little remained of the Atlas military and Vales huntsmen population too focused on protecting civilians and evacuating the survivors from the school, it was doubtful they would notice one of the Bullhead slip away in all the ensuing conflict.

"You'll never win" Pyrrha chocked out as her world slid back into focus, her words earned a small scoff in response from cinder.

It was an act of petty defiance in the face of death, it mattered little in any case, despite Pyrrhas words they had already won, one need only look at the devastation below to see that. "You might kill me, but the others will find you, they'll stop you. Alex will st-Gugh!?." Psycho reds stomped down on Pyrrha's stomach, his psycho sword hovering over her throat.

"Alex..." Cinder mused strolling towards the incapacitated huntress, the boy had been an unexpected hindrance to their plans since the beginning and after what transpired today, there was no doubt in her mind he would continue to be just that, his own power already made him a threat and as such he would need to be dealt with.

"He may try." She continued a cruel smile gracing her features "Though the result will be the same as it will be here for you, it is unfortunate that you were promised a power that was never truly yours." Psycho red pushed down on Pyrrhas chest drawing a pained hiss from the emerald spartan. "But, take comfort in knowing that I will use it in ways you cannot imagine."

Ignoring the Psycho rangers sword hovering over her, Pyrrha turned her head towards Cinder sending one last defiant glare towards the Fall Maiden "Do you believe in destiny?" she asked

Cinders eyes narrowed "Yes" she replied as Psycho red pulled back on his sword ready to thrust down into her heart "I do."

Pyrrha lay back closing her eyes as she accepted her fate. There wouldn't be any rescue coming for her, even if there was she doubted it matter at this point, this is where her story came to an end and she was fine with that, the knowledge her teammates, her friend... Jaune would live to see tomorrow, was enough for her, she'd fought to protect those that she loved, all that she cared for in the world and she'd done just that, now... Now she would rest.

A single tear slid down her cheek. 'Goodbye Jaune'

"Uthe Sasto!" Pyrrhas eyes snapped open, despite the distorted tone she knew that voice as well as those words, she'd heard them once before...during their trip to Forever Fall.

Thunder erupted from above, bolts of violate light whipped across the night sky striking at what remained of Beacon tower, the lower levels damaged by the dragons initial impact and the subsequential weight of the beast clinging to the edge began to crumble away, the giant Grimm screeched in what she could only assume was panic after narrowly avoiding being struck by one of the violet bolts, the giant Grimm beat its massive wings pushing off its perch, as the storm grew more violent by the second.

A violet pentagonal Glyph formed in the centre of what remained of Ozpins office, a set of intricate runes from a tongue long forgotten by mankind lit up around the edges of the Glyph as it expanded outwards, doubling in size.

"What!?" Pyrrhas attackers called out in shock, the blade hovering over her throat vanished and was quickly followed by the boot pressing down on her chest, their owner turning to face this new threat alongside the newly anointed Fall Maiden, allowing Pyrrha to roll onto her side, and stared in undisguised horror at the familiar glyph.

Said glyph rippled and fluctuated, black lightning arcing across its surface, suddenly three spectral wolves burst forth a black orb trialing behind the wolves as they rushed towards them, Cinder and Psycho Red moved on instinct leaping aside and out of the path of the bombardment, though their captive was not so lucky, Pyrrha clenched her eyes shut waiting for the impact and the searing pain that would follow.

Except it never came, seconds before they collided with the wounded huntress the wolves dissipated into nothingness. The violate orb, on the other hand, sailed true colliding with the emerald spartan, Pyrrha yelped in fright as her body was engulfed by a flash of violet light bathing the rooftop in an ethereal glow. Pyrrhas world dipped and spun as a feeling of utter weightlessness washed over her, Pyrrha's muscles burned and her bones ached but other than that there was no pain, just a set of arms wrapping around her as the world around her faded into black.

"One"

"Two"

"Three"

A low groan slipped from Yang as she was lifted onto one of the gurneys "Michael" one of the paramedics said to his partner his eyes lingering on Yangs pale form."Radio ahead and have the hospital get in contact with the blood bank and prep for a transfusion, this girl going to need it." nodding in response Michael grabbed the radio strapped to his vest, relaying his partners message to the hospital on the other end as they wheeled her off towards the airship bound for Vale.

"Is she going to be okay?" Blake asked tearing her eyes from her partners retreating form and back to the paramedic kneeling over her, the red-haired woman's partner was stood off to the side looking over Alex, after a small argument over standard procedure and Alex's own assurance that he was fine the Omni ranger begrudgingly allowed the man to examine him, although his eyes never strayed too far from Blake.

"Don't worry, she'll be fine Michael and Louise will keep an eye on her." She reassured Blake. "Once Frank and I are done with you and your friend over there, we'll get you two loaded up and off to Vale." She added while pulling a syringe from his bag, pushing the needle into the IV connected to Blakes' arm, the lingering pain in her hand, and abdomen began to fade, a relieved sigh slipped past her lips, her aura had been so focussed on stopping her from bleeding to death that there wasn't enough in reserve to help dampen the pain.

Blake stared up into the dark sky a small sigh leaving her, it would all be over soon, she just prayed Yang would pull through,

"Contact! Conta-" One of the soldiers tried to call out, an orb of violet light impacted the ground in front of the soldiers blowing them back across the landing pad, the civilians that had yet to board the airships screamed in terror, as a blinding light engulfed the docks.

Alex pushed past the male medic, putting himself between the civilians and this new threat, Coco, Sun and Nebula moved with him taking up positions alongside the Omni ranger while their teammates moved behind them acting as the second line of defence. Silence enveloped the landing pad as a dark humanoid figure began to emerge from the cloud of dust, their heavy metallic footsteps cutting through the silence, Alex's grip tightened on his longsword as the figure came into view.

"If you value her life, I suggest lowering your weapons." A familiar but distorted voice called out to them as the figure came into view, clad head to toe in a familiar suit of violet armour, Pyrrha's beaten and bloodied form cradled in his arms the only sign of life from the red-haired girl being the gentle rise and fall of her chest.

"No..." Alex whispered in horror.

"Pyrrha" Coco and Sun gasped.

"Hold your fire" Alex called out to the huntsmen and soldiers surrounding them.

"What did you do to her!" Nebula demanded, ignoring Alex's words the violet-haired leader brought up her crossbow, taking aim at the knight's black visor.

Koragg turned his head towards the purple haired leader "Nothing, in any case, if I truly sought her demise do you believe I would not bring her here?" He had done nothing to the red-haired girl, the only thought he'd had upon reawakening in the presence of his mistress was to save her, she had allowed him to do so, stating that she would enjoy watching the events that followed unfold and unwilling to disappoint her, he obeyed.

"Then let her go." Sun shot back at the knight, if this guy so much as even twitched the wrong way he was ready to take him down.

"As I intended too" Koragg replied, kneeling down he lay Pyrrha at his feet before rising back to his full high, taking a step back from her still form, with his task done the dark knight turned to take his leave, his master had instructed him to return after he had returned the Nikos girl to her allies.

"Hold it!" Coco called out, Koragg paused glancing back over his shoulder at the fashionista. "You don't just get to walk away buddy."

Coco took a step forward, Nebula and Sun moving with her taking up there own positions on either side of the knight, Alex hesitated his eyes darting down towards Pyrrha, at the very least he could cover her if things took a turn for the worst. If this was anything like what happened back at forever fall, despite what the people in front of him meant to the blond knight, Jaune would only see them as the enemy.

"You were at beacon earlier this year, you attacked miss Goodwitch and Professor Port along with Pyrrha and Jaune. The two of them were together last we saw of them, now Pyrrha's here." Sun and Nebula caught on to Coco's words, their eyes narrowed at the dark knight in response. "What did you do to Jaune?"

The knight stared at them for what felt like an eternity, those among them who knew the dopy blond boy, hoped he had made it through this unscathed, though one glance at Pyrrha quickly made them dread the answer, even if it stood before them. "Well!" Coco snapped spinning up the barrel of her Gatling-gun. "Answer me fuck face!"

Korrag scoffed at the mention of his former self. "The one you called Jaune Arc, is no more. I-."

"Take him down!"

"No don't!" Alex tried to warn them, his words going unheard.

Nebula and Sun rushed Koragg from simultaneously from both sides as Coco raised her Gatling gun ready to fire, acting quickly Koragg's free hand shot out eldrich fire spread down his right arm, culminating together in his palm before spreading out to form his shield, the dark red jewel adorning its surface emitting an ethereal glow. "Shield of Darkness!" he cried thrusting his shield down into the ground beneath them.

Alex's eyes widened before snapping towards Pyrrha, diving for the red-haired girl as Koraggs shield made contact with the ground, unleashing an energy pulse into the earth, three cracks spread out from the point of impact in the direction of the attacking hunters pulsing with the same energy as Koraggs shield, the three leaders had little time to react as the ground beneath their feet exploded outwards sending them sailing through the air alongside a small cloud of debris.

"Nebula!" Dew called out as her friend was sent sprawling back across the cobblestone path, ignoring the danger she darted to her leader's side. Her head snapped towards the knight, her grip tightening around her spear. "Your gonna pay for that!" she growled as Octavia and Gwen stepped past their teammate's fire burning in their eyes, weapons at the ready, they were joined by Yatsuhashi and Fox of CFVY alongside Scarlet and Sage of SSSN. Much like Dew, Velvet and Neptune stayed by their partners, Coco and Sun faring little better than the violet-haired leader of NDGO.

As the dust settled the six students moved forward to put an end to this new threat. "Stop!" Alex called out holding his arms out towards Koragg and the others, his clothes had been scorched by the blast but other than that he remained unharmed, as did the red-haired girl lying at his feet. "Just stop!" He yelled.

" But he-" Octavia tried.

"I know." Alex interrupted her, before looking past the hunters towards Cassie and Lilly, the pink and yellow ranger stood in line with the soldiers surrounding the remaining civilians, ready to jump in if things went south. If they tried to fight Jau-... Koragg, they could win, they had the numbers and the combined firepower of two veteran rangers to back them up, but, they'd also forced into a corner right alongside the civilians and if Koragg decided to use one of his more destructive spells, they would be caught in the crossfire.

A subtle groan from the girl beneath him signalled she was starting to come back around, his eyes flicked down to Pyrrha then back towards Koragg, the knight's hand gripping the hilt of his sword ready to draw it at a moment notice. "You came here and did what you had to do, your job's done, so there's nothing holding you here." Alex rose back to his feet " There's already been enough death, enough suffering for one day. If there is any compassion left in that heart of yours, then just go, please."

Koragg stared at Alex for what felt like an eternity "Verry well." He began, releasing the grip on his sword much to the shock of the huntsmen and soldiers present." I will spare the lives of my assailants and the people they stand against me to protect... " Though any relief the crowd felt at that moment was immediately dashed by his next words. " So that they may bear witness to the horrors my master will unleash upon this world, remember this day, you will wish it had been your last. "

"J-Jaune..." Pyrrha slurred as she regained consciousness, tilting her head in the direction of her partner's voice staring up at the fuzzy figures in front of her, she shook her head bringing her eyes back into focus. "No..." She tried to stand "Gah" Pyrrha gasped falling forward as red hot pain shot through her leg, the remnants of Cinders arrow was still logged in her achilles, she wouldn't be walking on her own let alone being able to stand anytime soon.

Koragg glanced down at the red-haired girl one final time, with a disinterested grunt he thrust his hand down at his side "Uthe Sasto!"

Pyrrha reached out towards him desperately "Jaune" She chocked out, as the dark knight vanished into the violet glyph beneath his feet before that too faded out of existence.

"Pyrrha." Alex said as he knelt down beside her, she didn't respond, her usually bright green eyes were red and puffy, staring blankly where Jaune once stood. Alex shook her lightly "Look at me." She blinked once sucking in a small breath as she turned towards him fresh tears trailing down her cheeks.

"Alex?" She said in surprise.

"Yeah, it's me." He replied, relieved that his friend was alright. "Wheres the headmaster?" He then asked. " Ren said you and Jaune went with him, where is he now." If they were going to have any chance of restoring order once they got back into Vale, they would need Ozpins help.

"Cinder she... she killed him, Amber as well." Pyrrha said remorse clear in her tone. "She's the one Alex, she's the one that attacked Amber she's the one that caused all this."

"Shit" Alex's cursed under his breath. If Amber was gone that meant the situation as a whole just got a hell of a lot worse. Cinder had the other half of the Maidens powers, and what she did with them right now was anyone's guess, if she wanted to come down here and use it to finish them off she damn well could most of their fighters were either out of action, missing or had gone with Ruby to-...

"Ruby" Alex muttered horror etched across his face.

"What?" Pyrrha asked.

"Ruby, she went looking for the two of you and the headmaster" Alex explained looking past the girl and out towards Beacon, a sudden flash of white light drew his attention towards Beacon tower. "What?" Alex muttered narrowing his eyes slightly, leading up the side of the tower were well over a dozen Glyphs bearing the Schnee emblem 'Weiss' Alex realised, they were at the tower.

"Oh...Oh gods" The girl beside him muttered, horror welling up inside her.

"What?" Alex asked giving Pyrrha his full attention "What is it?

"They're up there." She said, Pyrrha sized him by the hem of his shirt. "Psycho red and Cinder are still up there."

Alex's head snapped towards her, his features set in stone. "Can you move." He all but demanded.

"I...I can try." Pyrrha replied a pained hiss shot past her teeth as she attempted to move her leg. That was all he needed to see, without another word Alex wrapped his right arm around her waist the other slipping under her knees. Hoisting Pyrrha up with him he jogged back towards the others as they were picking themselves up off the ground

"You guys alright" He called out

"We'll live." Coco replied stumbling back to her feet, Velvet moved to help her but the fashionista waved her off.

"Who...ughh" Nebula grit her teeth, rolling her shoulder twice before looking back towards the Omni ranger. "What the hell was that?" she asked.

"Trouble and a lot of it, I'll explain later." He said to the two leaders as he passed setting her down on the landing pad, the paramedic he'd been arguing with before was at their side in second, the young man immediately got to work examining Pyrrha for any injuries that may have gone unnoticed in the heat of battle. Alex stepped back to let the man work turning his attention back towards Beacon tower, his hand moving to hourglass dial resting on the back of his gauntlet.

"A-Alex" His hand paused over the dial, Alex looked back over his shoulder at Blakes, despite her injuries Blake pushed herself up into a sitting position, Alex's eyes widened, without a second thought the Omni ranger moved to her side pushing Blake back down onto her back, despite her week protests. It was for her own good, if she tried to move too much in her current state she'd only end up making her injuries worse.

"Hey, hey stay put alright." He said as his eyes searched the crowd for the paramedic that had been treating her before Koraggs arrival, he spotted the older woman trying to make her way through the crowd, with little success, Koragg's sudden arrival having thrown the crowd into a bit of a frenzy, with people pushing past one another in an attempt to board the airships alongside the wounded, with the Atlesian soldiers trying to maintain what little order remained.

Blake groaned in response "What's going on?" she rasped

"Ruby's and the others are in trouble." Alex said glancing back towards the tower, swearing under his breath as one by one the glyphs lining the surface of the tower began to vanish, even from this distance he could make out the trail of rose petals left in there wake.

"What!" Blake said in alarm her eyes darting back towards Beacon.

"I don't have time to explain, I have to go." Alex moved to stand but Blake reached out and grabbed his arm.

"Then I...I'm coming with you." Blake once again tried to push herself up. Alex grasped her shoulder pushing her back down onto her back. Even if she wasn't in the state she was now he doubted he would have let her go with him, call it being selfish, but if Psycho red and Cinder were still up there he wasnt about to risk any more live's tonight, especially Blakes.

"No your not." Alex said firmly "You can barely move, let alone fight."

"But-" Blake tried to argue.

"No but's." Alex brushed his hand over her cheek looking Blake in the eye as he spoke. "I need you here, I need you to get better not just for me, but Yang too." Blake gripped his arm tighter, why would Yang want her here? Her actions tonight had not only cost her partner her arm, but also put the people she cared about most in danger...how was she supposed to face her after that?

"I can't." Blake said tears forming in her eyes.

"Yes you can, your strong Blake, I know you're scared but Yang needs you now more than ever." Digging into his back pocket Alex pulled out his plumber's badge "Hold onto this." He said pushing the badge into Blakes free hand, her fingers closing around it instinctively. "I linked my badge with my Morpher, once I get Ruby and the others out of there, I'll find you, and I'll be right there with you when she wakes up, I promise."

Despite her own trepidation, she knew if anyone was capable of keeping that promise it was him. Her grip on his arm loosened her hand trailing down towards his hand "I'll be waiting" She said, Alex nodded giving her hand a gentle squeeze before rising back to his feet, Alex turned and marched off towards the inferno that was once Beacon Academy, the Grimm dragon circling his objective. "Once Ruby and the others were out of here, I'll be back to deal with you" Alex muttered as he passed by the others.

Sage nudged his leader's shoulder and tossed his head towards Alex.

"Dude" Sun called out to him as he passed by, drawing the attention of the other two teams to in the process. "Where are you going? They're gonna start loading the airships soon, time to go."

"Not yet, not for me at least." Alex called back, pulling his scroll from his back pocket before passing it to the fashionista "Call Weiss, tell her and the others to start pulling back."

Coco glanced down to Alex scroll before turning back towards the Omni ranger watching as he fiddled with the gauntlet strapped to his left arm, a small dial popping out of the wrist. "What are you gonna do?" She asked in genuine concern,

"Something stupid, something crazy I haven't really decided yet." Twisting the dial clockwise, the white hourglass faded and was replaced by an all to familiar emblem, a plus formed in the center of the display, with the area between corners occupied by four different symbols, a sword adorning the upper left corner, an infinity symbol in the upper right, a shield to the bottom right and a four-pointed star to the bottom left. A set of runes similar to the ones on his sword forming a ring around the outside of the plus completing the coat of arms.

Alex furrowed his brow as he recalled the command phrase to activate the morpher, unlike most of the others this wasnt just some callout used to intimidate an opponent, it was an oath, a promise, something all Rangers made from the beginning to the end whether they knew it or not, the same oath his predecessors had spoken in his final moments, the same oath he'd made when he received this power.

"With our dying breath...Protect the Crystal." Alex pushed down on the dial unleashing a blinding white light that forced the huntsmen students around him to shield there eyes. As the light dimmed even the select few individuals among them who knew of Alex's true identity couldn't help but stare in both awe and shock at the knight, one much like the one they had stared down moments before, however, this one's armour seemed both far older and more refined, lacking many of the jagged edges than the others, however, said armour was littered numerous scuffs and scratches across its surface.

His bodysuit was primarily black with a hexagonal design with grey armour covering forearms, thighs and shins while his hands were covered in black gloves. The rest of his body was covered by a faded blue surcoat with gold lining, underneath his surcoat he wore what looked like a steal breastplate a series of belts crossing over his chest with a glowing cerulean core embedded at the centre of the segmented metal plates, above that was a set of chains connecting his breastplate to his pauldrons, his predecessor's coat of arms engraved on the left shoulder. His helmet was a lighter shade of grey than his armour with a slick blue visor and a triangular silver mouthpiece.

The Omni ranger tilted his head back towards the others, he didn't miss the shocked and suspicious looks in the eyes of the members of NDGO along with Sage and Scarlet of SSSN, nor how their hands hovered over there weapons. Sighing his visor and mouthpiece retracted, Alex then turned his attention towards Sun "You can start pulling back if you want but I've still got a job to do here." He said as white arc energy danced across his form.

"What do you mean?" Velvet asked after finally overcoming her shock

Omni ranger turned his head back in the direction of Beacon tower "Rubys still up there, I'm gonna go get her." With that, the knight vanished into a beam of white light that shot off in the direction of beacon tower.

Pushing her semblance to its limit Ruby rocketed up the side of Beacon tower Crescent rose trailing behind her, she'd seen the lightning and the flash of light just like the others, she didn't know what it meant but what she did know was that they were running out of time, Pyrrha was running out of time.

Reaching the end of the path, Ruby channelled her aura into her legs and pushed off the tower, the combined momentum from her speed and her aura fueled jumped launched her the extra few meters she needed to clear the edge of the tower and into what remained of the headmaster's office, her Scythe at the ready.

Her feet had barely touched the ground when she saw the blade.

It came without warning and fast enough to beat her own semblence, its wielder, a dark red blur trailing behind the sword cackled as she cried out, white-hot pain flashed up her right thigh echoed by her scream. Her body skipped across the stone floor before crashing back first into one of the large clockwork gears embedded into the rooftop, the lower half of her body burned, rolling onto her stomach ruby reached down to touch her right leg and whimpered when it came back red.

Why hadn't her aura protected her? It was still active, even now she felt it flare around her body in an attempt to protect her from any further damage. "Well... this is a surprise." A lance of pure terror shot through her, a hand seized ruby by the scruff of her neck before dragging her up to eye level with her attacker.

She spotted Cinder standing a few feet behind him, her raven hair flicked back and forth in the open air the amber glow from the fires below casting shadows over the right side of her body, highlighted by the amber flames that danced around her eyes. Upon laying eyes on her Cinders face twisted in fury, first, it had been the Nikos girl pitiful attempt to kill her, then there was the storm that almost blew her off the side of the damn tower.

And now, now this child, the same child that had interfered in her affairs since the very beginning was here attempting to intervene just as her classmate had. Cinder narrowed her eyes at the red-clad girl struggling in the Psycho Rangers grasp, it was somewhat poetic in a strange way, never the less they had wasted enough time already, Beacon was little more than rubble, and with the dragon taking roost here it was unlikely that would change anytime soon.

"Stop toying with the girl and finish her already." Cinder said, her patience for Psycho Reds antics beginning to wear thin, they had both wasted more than enough time here, and their window for a clean escape was beginning to close.

Psycho reds head tilted towards her. "Leave if you want your majesty." Cinder scowled in response to that accursed nickname.

"This one and her little friends have been nothing but a nuisance since my brethren and I first arrived on this wretched planet, its only fair she and I get to have some Fun!" Psycho reeled his arm back dragging Rubys kicking and screaming form with it, before slamming the red-clad huntress into the office floor a spider web crack spreading out under her as she impacted the floor. "I was already denied once tonight, it will not happen again."

Cinder rolled her eyes, turning away from the scene she began making her way back towards the blown-out remains of the elevator shaft, a cry of pain echoing across the rooftop as psycho red delivered another blow to the would-be huntress. If he truly wished to stay here and risk being caught in the middle of any possible counter-offensives Vale and the remaining Atlesian forces might against the Grimm over some insignificant child, then so be it, it was of no concern to he-.

Cinder stumbled as a vibrant white missile collided with the side of the tower, so close that were it not for her own training she would have toppled from the force of the impact alone. The Fall Maidens gaze snapped back towards the epicentre of the impact as a cloud of dust kicked up by the impact enveloped the rooftop, a dull blue light shone through the darkness highlighting the outline of an armoured figure bounding across the rooftop.

A glowing blue blade cut through the cloud, sparks flew illuminating the armoured figure and Psycho red as their blades clashed, the force behind the blow sending her partner skidding back on his heels across the tower. The Fall Maiden thrust her arm forward launching a fireball into the cloud, the figure acted quickly swatting the fireball aside with his sword, his free arm wrapping around the red-clad huntress at his feet before leaping back as the cloud surrounding him dispersed.

She didn't need Psycho red to tell her who was under that helmet. " Here you are yet again." Cinder gowled her glowing amber eyes reflected back at her in Alex's dark visor. "From the first moment to the last, you have caused me nothing but trouble, it must be a curse fo mine or a gift of yours...Alex"

"I have a knack for screwing over people like you." The Omni ranger replied his eyes locked on the two pyro's, as he set Ruby down behind one of the clock gears embedded in the tower, Psycho Red moved to his left Cinder mirroring his actions and began circling his right, a second sword forming in her free hand.

"Just sit tight Rubes" He called back to his friend

Casting a fearful glance towards Cinder and Psycho red before speaking up in a hushed voice "Alex" She whispered "Are you sure you can-"

"Don't worry about that, everything's gonna be ok." It was a lie, he knew it, Cinder and Psycho red knew it and he was sure Ruby did to

Cinders glanced down to the fearful face of the red-clad girl and smirked, with the condition her leg was in it was doubtful she'd be able to even stand for the time being, let alone hoist her weapon and fight back, she'd been content with leaving a few moments ago, but now that the chance to eliminate one of the few real threats to her plans in vale, she'd have been a fool to refuse.

Cinder leapt forward, her eyes flashed with killing intent all fo which was focussed on him, Psycho red moved with her sprinting toward the Omni ranger a red and black blur trailing behind him. Flipping his sword into a backhanded grip, bracing his forearm against the flat of his blade Alex swung his sword in an arc in front of him, sparks flew as Cinders obsidian blades clashed against the flat of his longsword.

Bringing up his right arm up, the psycho ranger sword clashing against his gauntlet pushing the blade to one side, Psycho reds momentum carrying him past the Omni ranger, he'd recover almost immediately he knew this but the few scant seconds that would take was enough time to put some room between him and his opponents, his weapon wasnt designed for up-close combat, he needed space to use it to its fullest... and he was damn sure they knew it.

Stepping into Cinders guard he delivered a swift headbutt to the newly anointed Fall maiden, his steel plated helm slamming into her -Aura or not- soft human skull, the impact sent her stumbling back a pained hissed passing her clenched teeth. Twirling his sword back into a forehanded grip the Omni Ranger turned on his heels parrying a slash from Psycho red off to the side, gripping the fuller of his sword he jabbed the pommel into Psycho red chest, following through with a vertical slash, sparks spewing from psycho reds chest.

"Alex!" Ruby called out in warning seconds before a fireball struck him in his shoulder. Allowing the force behind the hit to carry him forward Alex dove to the side as three more orbs passed overhead disappearing into the sky surrounding the tower, As Alex rolled back to his feet his grip tightened around the hilt of his sword causing the runes running along the flat side of the blade to glow.

'Can't hold back, not now.' He told himself his eyes drifting back towards Ruby watching their battle in a mix of awe and terror. Waving her hands in a circular motion, several more fireballs to formed behind Cinder, Alex rushed forward, if he wanted to finish this he needed to be as close as possible if he missed he doubted he'd be given the chance to try again.

Cinders eyes narrowed her usual smirk turning into a look of concern as the knight charged towards her, thrusting her arm out sending a stream of fire towards the Omni rangers, the knight dodged to the left swatting aside one of the fireballs shed sent his way as an added measure, growing closer by the second. Cinder clenched her teeth, summoning another obsidian blade into her left hand before throwing her right out in the air attacking Alex with an arc of fire.

As the ethereal glow fully enveloped his sword Omni ranger leapt forward powering through the flames as the washed over him. "Persistent" Cinder spat as he emerged on the other side, his armor blackened but its user unharmed, summoning another sword into her free hand she moved forward to parry his attack and resume their close quarter's melee, only then did she notice the runes and the ethereal aura surrounding his blade.

"Nova Wave!" He cried slashing towards the Fall maiden, unleashing an ethereal blue energy wave that sliced through cinders sword, for a split second her eyes widened and then the wave struck her, her aura flared around the Fall Maiden in an attempt to shield her.

The impact forced the air from her lungs, a result of her aura dampening the initial attack. The wave carried her a few feet before dissipating, managing to twister her body mid-air Cinder landed on her feet, her momentum sending her skidding back to the edge of the tower, dropping to he knees Cinder hacked spitting out a glob of blood and saliva as her golden aura flickered and sparked.

He didn't give her a chance to recover, rushing forward Alex pulled back on his sword, one more hit and she was finished. "Fissure!" Psycho red drove his shoulder into the Omni rangers abdomen, as he stumbled back Psycho red struck Alex's hand with the hilt of his weapon knocking the sword from his grasp, he then followed up with a verticle slash across Alex's chest

"Eyes on me Omni ranger!" Psycho Red demanded, thrusting his hand forward the psycho ranger unleashed a barrage of lightning towards him, psycho red leapt forwards pulling his sword back for an overhead strike. Catching him by the wrist Omni ranger delivered two swift punches to Psycho red chest with his free hand, before he too caught it in his grasp, the two engaging in a fierce grapple.

Cinder pushed herself up onto one knee, the pain wracking her body dulled by her enhanced aura, her head snapped up fire burning around her eyes, all her fury focussed entirely on Alex. One hit... she was a Maiden, one of the few individuals with power beyond the capabilities of all but one other, that walked the face of Remnant, and yet, one hit from him and she could barely stand. How? How did one boy posses enough power to rival that of the Maidens!?

Psycho Red kneed Alex in the sartorius forcing him down onto one knee, the Omni rangers arms shooting up in into an X block stopping the blade from bisecting him, his gauntlets absorbing the brunt of the damage, Psycho red pushed down on his sword forcing Alex's arms further apart allowing his sword to inch further towards the Omni rangers visor, Cinder smirked... Just a little more and that nuisance would be-

Three shots ran out striking Psycho red in the back, Ruby having crawled from her hiding spot to her own weapon, pulled back on the bolt of Cresent rose firing another shot into the centre of the Psycho Ranger back, Alex rolled back as Psycho red stumbled forward, pressing his feet to Red's stomach Alex kicking him off and over the edge of the tower plummeting to the ground below.

Alex turned his head towards Ruby, the red-clad reaper sending a small nod his way a look of relief washing over her. An arc of fire struck her a moment later, blasting Ruby across the rooftop. "Ruby!" Alex cried out scrambling back to his feet " Gah!" he cried as a flaming arc struck him in the chest sending him skidding back across the rooftop.

Cinder stalked forward a raging inferno whipped around her form as if they were pulled up by a nonexistent gale forming a protective cocoon around her. The Omni ranger groaned, rolling onto his side in an attempt to rise back to his feet. "Its seems Psycho reds stories about you weren't so exaggerated after all." Another arc struck him in the back forcing him back down. " I underestimated you, I'll admit that. You're stronger then I expected" Cinder thrust her hand out unleashing a torrent of flames towards the Omni ranger.

"Gahhh!" Alex roared in agony as the flames washed over him, cooking him inside his armor.

"But strength alone does not bring victory." She growled unleashing her full fury on the one that dared interfere in her plans, the one that had dared to harm her, the flames growing hotter by the second." Did you think for a second that coming here would change the outcome of today, even if the kingdom survives Beacon has fallen, Ironwood and the atlesian military's reputation lays in tatters" The flames died down as cinder summoned one of her blades into her left hand standing over the wounded knight his armor scorched and charred, lifting his chin with the tip of her blade, she stared into the green eyes hidden behind his cracked visor. " And now you and that little wretch will die here, victims of your own idiocy and misplaced valour."

Pushing himself on to his knees Alex lunged at Cinder, the Fall Maiden stepped back out of the way of his attack, her eyes narrowed in annoyance bringing her sword back Cinder slashed the knight across his faceplate shattering his already damage visor in the process and sending him back to his knees.

Shaking off the hit Alex glared up at the so-called Maiden, there was neither fear no trepidation in his gaze, only acceptance, it wasnt the first time he'd come face to face with death dozens of time in the past, the only difference being this time around he had so much to lose, his friends, his home at Beacon... Blake.

"Defiant" Cinders eyes narrowed her voice holding the smallest hint of admiration "...even at the end."

His only regret, he wouldn't be there to see her wake up after all.

Cinder thrust her sword forward, punching through Alex's armor and into his chest. Alex couldn't help the pain filled gasped accompanied by the blood hitting the back of his throat, the world around him slowing down to a crawl. The blade was wrenched from his chest, he swayed the world around him taking a sharp turn he found himself staring up at the dark sky above Cinder standing over him a triumphant smirk, the Dragon circling above.

As the world around him began to darken he heard a voice muffled by the fading world around him scream his name, with what little strength he had left Alex turned his head to the side, a pair of horrified silver eyes stared into his own tears streaming down their owners face.

Ruby trembled as her first real friend, no her best friend lay dying just meters away blood pooling around him "Alex..." she whispered, her fists clenched before her arms curled over her body and then suddenly Ruby flung her arms out as she levitated off the ground beams of Silver light burst from her eyes as she screamed his name.

"What!?" Cinder yelled. The dragon above them screeching as everything went white.
