Chapter 17
Everyone gathered at granny diner, a place they enjoyed eating while they were there. But then again it had been so long since they had been there. While henry was wondering what they were doing in such a place like this. Since he been pulled out of school. well, he understood why he was pulled out of his magical schooling for safety issues. Even though papa Loki was the best in magical schooling for him and Grandma Frigga as well. but for now, he was wondering who he was going to meet up with next. Even though he wondered who his mother was going to meet up with, even though his real birth mother had passed out somewhere. While his aunt who blood adopted him was there with him and that was enough along with his family and friends. But why did this place seem so familiar to him. it was something that he wondered. Henry was wondering how they knew his favorite type of thing. but before he could ask two people walked in.
"Henry, this is marcus and Mary Margaret." Said kagome
"How did you know each other?" asked henry
"in Azkaban she was my prison bitch!" chirped snow
Henry was gawking at his mother. While she was looking at her birth mother with wide eyes. Oh yes, her birthmother lives to embrace her. How could she come up with that one. Even though it was something that her uncle nappa was to come up with, while he was snickering as if he was the one who gave her the information on what he told her to say to henry. Oh, how she was going to kill him later. And then bring him back again and kill him again for this one. While henry was not sure what to think. While everyone was laughing their asses off when it came down to the fact that nappa came up with that one and kagome was caught off guard. While loki and nappa high fived on that one. Since they plotted that one out rather well. vegeta eyes were wide from that one. And then glared at nappa he knew that line very well. how could nappa do that again to someone. Once everyone calmed down, they thought it was best to order. Regina took notice that henry didn't remember him. as kagome took regina to talk about what was going on.
Meanwhile a few days later
Granny's Diner. Henry and snow are sitting together. Snow is reading a book. While some of the others were out doing what needed to be done. While snow was learning new things about babies and stuff of this world. even though she was going to have someone of their friends and family there to give birth for her. Henry pays attention to his gaming console. Snow sighed and wondered what he was playing with. Yes, she was into the new things of this world. most of all the technology. She was very into stuff like that. but the game thing was an interesting thing she has not come across yet. Plus, the stuff you learn about babies in books here. Things that she didn't know about when she first had her twins. She was shocked with the tech that they were able to use to see and how the baby was doing. So, this was something that she was happy to know about. And learning and having helped her through this time around.
"My God. Did you know there's something like cradle cap? Babies get that on their heads. It's a crusty, yellow, greasy, scaly skin rash. Seriously, this book uses all of these words." Said snow
"Gross. Yes, devastated him." said henry
"You know, there's a library down the street. We can pop in to get you something, if you'd rather. I know how much you love reading." Said snow
Henry put his game on pause as he left to go and grab his jacket, so he was able to go and get a book. While snow sighed and wondered what she was going to do with this grandchild. Since she didn't know how far much he understands about the ways of magic and stuff like that. sure, he knows he is not a human and so on and so forth. But for right now they were going to have to do what they were known to do. wing it. but Loki was doing such a good job along with henry other stepfathers as well. and well other stepfathers and uncles. But they were doing what they were able to do. while kagome and some of the others were trying their best to get some form of a memory potion for henry so he could remember. But snow didn't know she was being watched by a woman.
"Cradle cap." Groaned snow
"You know, it goes away. It doesn't hurt the baby." Said zelena
"It doesn't?" asked snow
Snow was wondering who this woman is. She had never seen her in town before. And she can't be one of her daughter's friends and family. And she didn't look like someone her another daughter would know. But then again, she knew next to nothing about Emma other than she enjoys being evil and dark and drugs and alcohol. Along with other things. But then again, she would never ever give up hope on her other daughter. Even though she still would like to know who this other woman is. and why is she showing up suddenly. While zelena smirked and didn't know if she would be able to pull this off. But she was going to do it one way or another. While her sister would not even know what the hell was going on. since no one remembered what was going on for the past year. But she can't make herself known on what and why she was here in the first place. And what her plans are. And snow white was going to be part of those plans.
"Babies are stronger than you think. You're Snow White aren't you?" asked zelena
"yes I am, actually. This must be your first time in Storybrooke?" asked snow
"I've missed the last curse. So, everything in this world is still a bit new." Said zelena
Zelena looked around the place she was in. It was not a lie this place is a bit new to her. and the things that she was still learning about. So, this was something she was not expecting when she did what she had done. So, she was going to have to learn things somehow. Even though the captive was one of the beings who was helping her through this. But for now, she needed snow white. While snow smiled to the woman and wondered what her name was since she was new here. But then again there was always someone new who was going to be showing up here or there when it came down to the fact they would get caught up in the curse. But that was something that came down to the thing with curses there was always a new face to meet. Or someone new to make friends with. But for now, she wanted to know more about this new face and probably a new friend.
"Don't worry. You'll get used to it. Who were you back in our land?" asked snow
"Oh, no one you'd remember. Not everyone is famous like you." said zelena
"I don't know if I'd say famous." Said snow
"You were a princess. And some of us were just supporting players. Oh, it's okay. I loved who I was and what I did. I was a midwife." Said zelena
Zelena walked over to snow to let her know that she was there to help her. even though it was not the truth. Even though she was right now one would remember her right now since she was part of the curse in some ways. Snow sighed and not sure if she should have let this woman in on her team of people who was going to be there to deliver her baby. Even though they were family and friends. But a midwife would be a good idea as well. They wouldn't mind the old-fashioned midwife she hoped. While zelena had no clue that snow had a plan already in place for the delivery. But there was not much she could do there. Other than dealing with those people when the time comes. But for now she needed to get into snow head and to get her to understand that she would need a midwife to help her through her time of need.
"My name is Zelena. I've seen a lot of new mothers. Don't worry, you'll learn quickly." Said zelena
"Maybe you can give me some advice? I have been turning the corner of every page on which I have a question and now I can't close the book. There are so many." Said snow
"Helping Snow White with her baby? I can't think of anything that would make me happier." Said zelena
Zelena left her hand on the snow belly as she felt the baby that was growing inside of snow. She knew that snow was not a new mother. Well one that she can care for her child now instead of sending the twins away for their own good. But for now, she was going to try to play nice and try and see what and where this would go. but for now, she smiled kindly. While snow smiled back to let her know that she would investigate it. and see what she would say to the others and see what they would think of taking on a midwife to help with things. While zelena left to go and do what she needed to do. and check on her prisoner. Snow sighed and went back to her book while waiting for henry to come back from getting his jacket.
Meanwhile later that evening
Regina entered the home that she spent so much time in when she came back here. But never felt right being there or living in it while her beloved family and friends were not there. While kagome sighed and knew this was going to be a start. And for Regina to be around henry without knowing what and who she is to him. Regina hugged kagome for doing this for her. even though she was doing this because she loved her since she is her blood adopted sister. and henry other blood adopted mother. She told her about all the things that henry has learned from Loki as his teacher. Well one of his teachers that is. some of them are his stepfathers. And well uncles in some ways. But blood adoption kind of helps. But Loki had to teach henry to keep his frost giant side hidden when it was time for something then he would let it down and fight with it. and his grandmother Frigga for magic as well. and his other family and friends are teaching him,
"Maybe this isn't a good idea." Said Regina
Kagome smiled kindly to Regina to let her know it will go well. and to trust her. Regina sighed and went into the gaming room of the manor. She still didn't understand how things worked. But she saw henry sitting next to Loki who was reading a book with henry laying on his lap playing his video game. Regina looked at how much he had grown since she last seen him. but she was hoping things would work out since it would help things when it came down to him being in her life again. Sure, having her friends and family back is great. But not having henry in the middle it was sad to her. when it came down to the boy she loved. Her son. And kagome son. Emma maybe the birth mother she could go to hell. even though she is kagome twin. But still hated her. Loki looked up and arched a brow and wondering what was going on.
"Hey, how was your day?" asked kagome
"Good. Storybrooke is a weird place. But cool. Did you know there's a library inside a clock tower. Papa Loki was having a nerd moment and got some books as did i.!" chirped henry
"I do. I've been there before. And you know your father Loki loves his books. Come on, I want you to meet someone. This is Regina Mills. She's the mayor of this town and she wanted to meet you." said kagome
Kagome led henry over to Regina and was trying to do this as best as she could. While Regina was in shock that he was there in front of her. while snow and the others watched on with interest. Plus, they were not looking at her as if she was the one who caused this mess. But there was someone else they don't even know who caused this issue for them all. and it was going to take a while to have them know what happened. henry was wondering what in the world was going on why would this woman want to meet him. did he do something wrong to have this woman of authority wanting to meet him. kagome and Regina sighed and knew that henry has a question. And it was something that they would ask before he could ask the question.
"nothing's wrong. Your mother just told me a lot about you. I heard you like school and that you're good at English. And other subjects as well." said Regina
"Yeah. Why did she tell you all this?" asked henry
"Because she could be proud of you. While you're in town I was thinking, maybe I can give you a tour sometime. You know, show you around. Maybe we can stop in for ice-cream." Said regina
"Yeah, I'd like that. So, it was nice meeting you." said henry
Regina takes a step towards Henry intending to embrace him like the mother that she is. something she wanted to do since she saw him again. But not sure if she was going to be crossing the line or anything. But she hoped that he would take the offer as a kind gesture. Henry offers her a hand. After a moment she shakes it. kagome smiled as Loki took him to his chambers and told henry to be ready for dinner soon. While snow and ayame was watching. But it seemed that it was a start for Regina. So Regina left to go back home. She had a start with the henry that she is dealing with right now. but she knows her henry would return to her sooner or later. The soul society and others were on the job on trying to figure out something that would help henry to remember. Because not even God magic was helping to break the spell.
meanwhile a week later
Everyone was around having a meeting in the meeting room. they were trying to find out who the wicked witch really is. while Regina was there to help as much as she could. Even though she was hoping to be the one who gets henry today. While everyone else was able to go and do what they could do. even though the labs and the science and research unit were not doing much in finding what to do just yet. But they have been doing it for a good while. And now they were going to have to do their part in all of this. While kagome sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose when it came down to the fact that they had no clue in what they wanted to do. snow and charming was trying to figure what the next step is going to be.
"So now that we know who we're dealing with, how do we find this wicked witch?" asked hikaru
"yeah" said karou
"Might I suggest we start by asking if anyone's seen a woman with green skin running around?" asked hook
Everyone snickered at that one. Since some of them can change their skin color. But that was not what they were talking about. But they needed to find out who is the person who was going to be the wicked witch of the west is. This was kind of funny and amusing in some odd way to them. but for now, that they know who they are going up against is something they are looking forward to. Loki was snickering at who they were fighting right now. while Frigga slapped him on the head. While Marcus her husband since Odin the ass is dead by her hand. But she Is happy now. even though he is a vampire, she was happy either way. but everyone was stopped doing what they were doing when the doors busted opened, and the wicked witch came in herself. Holding the dagger for the dark one in her hands, while everyone turned to look at the woman who had been parading around as being a midwife. She had a feeling there was something off about this woman,
"Oh, did I miss the speeches? Shall I make one? I mean, I am, after all, responsible." Said zelena
"Kagome, no. Too many people will get hurt." Said snow
Kagome huffed in annoyance from what she was trying to do. this bitch harmed her pups and she was not going to let her live for doing it. her Tamaki and her Draco was harmed from this woman. While Loki growled, he wanted her head to harm his sons. Zelena smirked she harmed demigods. And she was not going to back down now in front of the most powerful beings in this place but yes, she is very proud of doing what she had done. Even though she could not get ahold of anything that they had in their possession. But that would be for another time. Since she knew they had things that she could use for her plans. Zelena smirked oh how she wanted to have loki as her own. The god of mischief and lies would do so well for her plans. But she knew better not to go near that one. Since he could kill her with not even trying. But right now, with her having been on his bad side for harming his heirs. But this was time for her to get to the point of what she came here for. Plus, she wanted to make sure that she wanted them to know why she was doing what she had done.
"Listen to your mother. Anyone who tries to interfere with my plan is gonna have to deal with the Dark One! Don't worry. I'm not here for your baby. Not today, anyway." Said zelena
"Then why are you here?" asked regina
"Now, that my cover's blown, I can finally pay a visit to my little sister." said zelena
"Who the hell are you talking about?" asked ayame
Ayame and everyone else was wondering the same thing. who in the world could this woman be related to. it as if she was seeming that she is related to someone here. This is like the whole peter pan and rumple bullshit all over again. While kagome arched a brow this was getting interesting now since this was being brought up. while snow and charming was wondering who is the wicked with of the west being related to. zelena smirked she gotten everyone attention on what she had said. Even though she is Regina real sister, not her blood adopted sister. like this fake family that Regina has now that she was blood adopted into. It angered her that she would love this family and not her. but for now, she was going to enjoy getting to know what these people were going to think once they find out who she is related to. But then again it was not the only time when something like this happened. she remembered the whole pan and rumple thing.
"Why Regina of course." Said zelena
"I'm an only child other than the blood adopted sister I have" said regina
"Cora lied to you, Regina. I'm your sister. Half, if you to get technical. And they don't count." Said zelena
kagome and everyone was listening into this conversation intently now. Cora did leave out something. The woman left and abandoned one of her children and never came back for her. so, this was the fact that Regina was Cora favorite child. Loki groaned this was a Thor and himself all over again. But he was adopted, and this woman was not. It would seem Cora was like Odin in so many ways since she had a favorite daughter and abandoned the other child to her fate. And this is how the wicked witch was born. Even though he was not going to admit he understood her. because he understood how she feels. But he was never going to allow her to harm the ones he loved and cared for. Most of all his children. Cora was someone who he disliked from the beginning. But now even more so. Because Regina is family to him and everyone else in this family and friends circle that they have.
"Why should I believe anything you say?" asked regina
"Oh, you shouldn't. It's a lot to swallow. This is why I brought a gift to help." Said zelena
"I don't want a gift from you." sapped regina
"But you shall have it. See, my gift to you is that sad, sad day. Use it to dig into our past, Regina. You need to learn the truth and you must believe it. And then, meet me on Main Street tonight. Say, sundown." Said zelena
Regina smirked but it was kagome who offered to take on the fight with her supposed half-sister. since kagome had every right to do so since she was the one who wanted to take down the one who harmed two of her children. and she waved for her blood adopted sister to go after the one who dared to think she was going to get away from harming someone's children. and now after a poor innocent baby now. What the hell did she need all of this for. But for now, this was time for them to be on their toes. And what and how did she have a half-sister. and they have no way of asking Cora face to face since she is not in the soul society. But probably in the underworld. But they were not going to go there for this reason. and sadly, they would need to save the dark one as well. Emma was not taking Neal death very well. but at least he died redeeming himself. But unfortunately, kagome was not able to bring him to the soul society.
Meanwhile a few days later
Kagome went in head on in the battle with the wicket witch of the west she took a real beating. But in the end kagome thought it was worth it. even though right now she was wondering what was going to happen next that would need her to kick more ass, even though there was going to be more of that coming soon enough. Hook is waiting for Smee at the harbour. So, he could have a conversation with smee. But smee wanted to know what was going to happen now. While hook was waiting for henry to arrive since he was going to be needed for help with henry. Since he is after all his stepfather as well. so it was his turn to protect henry. Even though there was going to be more to that. since he was going to have to help in some way with the other issue.
"It's about time, Mr. Smee. You know how much I abhor waiting. What is it that's so urgent?" asked hook
"It's just, um, me and the men were talking about how we haven't seen much of you since we all ended up back here." said smee
"Is there a point to that rather odd observation?" asked hook
Hook was wondering why would smee bring this up suddenly. But for now, it was something that he needed to know. They knew he had a wife, and she was back with him. along with a family he inherited. So, what and why would the men want to know why he hasn't been around since he been here. Smee sighed and knew how much the captain missed his wife while away. He liked kagome she is a beautiful kind and fierce woman, and she is perfect for the captain. But he knew how much she meant to him. but he should come to them and see them from time to time as well. hikaru and karou seemed to come and hang out with them as well. it was something that they were used to along with some of his other siblings. They were fun to hang out with. Even Loki when he wanted to come and hang out as well. Thor was a great drinking buddy along with some of the others.
"What's keeping us from crewing up again hitting the high seas, getting back to pirating?" asked smee
"You mean other than being attacked and turned into flying monkeys? Have you forgotten? There's no safe passage out of this town. Well besides the ways my wife and her friends and family know of. You've already been a rodent, Mr. Smee. Does life as a simian interest you, as well?" said hook
"Of course there's safe passage. We could outrun them." said smee
"Not with that torso of yours." Said hook
"If we had a fast enough ship. The Jolly Roger, for instance. You still haven't told me whether you found her during the time none of us can remember." Said smee
Smee was wondering what and why the jolly rodger was not here. Why wasn't their captain not going to go and find it. That is something that they were wondering about. While they knew the captain had changed since he had met the lady. But she was the best thing that happened to him. but he didn't want to be a monkey. He wanted out of here. And he didn't want to ask some of the others to use their form of travel. Or hide out in the soul society. It felt odd for him to ask for help like that. but right now, they are desperate on how to get the hell away from here. Plus, they have no clue where the ship is at anyways. Hook sighed and wondered what and why they never asked none of the others for help to leave and hide them away. A lot of people have done that already. But smee is just being a pain in his ass already.
"What happened during that time isn't important." Said hook
"Because you remember. Is our ship okay? What... What happened to it?" asked smee
"My ship. All you need to know, Mr. Smee, is that the Jolly Roger isn't here. So there will be no outrunning of anything." Said hook
Hook sighed and was not sure what he was going to say when it came down to how he got rid of the ship. He did it for a good reason too. it was for him to get back to his wife, his soulmate. Smee didn't understand what that meant. And if he caught his leering at one of his stepdaughters again, he was not going to like the punishment. He may be their stepfather, but he was protective over them. like their father and other stepfathers. While smee sighed and knew not to press things. But the captain seemed to be ignoring the fact that the ship was gone. and that ship was his baby. So why would he not want anyone to know what happened since he remembered things unlike them. so why wouldn't he go looking for something that meant the world to him. well other than the lady. That was something the captain missed deeply.
"I mean, what if we found another ship? Any one of these..." said smee
"Mr. Smee, I've tried letting you down easy. Now let me be more direct. I have no intention of leaving this town." Snapped hook
"I agree with you This place has its bright spots. I have never tried anything quite like frozen yogurt before. But the Wicked Witch is here. And with that sort of danger, what possible reason do you have to stay?" asked smee
Smee saw hook look to see kagome along with henry walk their way. while hook had a bright look on his face. That is the reason why he would wish to stay. And he would have to say it was understandable now why he wished to remain behind. But then again this was something that came down to the fact that he had forgotten that the captain is married to the soulmate he found. Even though he had to say she is a very fine lady. Someone he would have chosen for his captain. And she was very well protected and most of all a fighter. So that is a huge plus. While henry was wondering why he was going to be going to the harbor right now. sure, he didn't understand things in this town. But he was able to sense them when it came down to the fact that things here seemed too familiar to him. hook smiled and wondered what his lady love needed right now. she was bringing henry, so this meant something. That he wanted him to watch over him. and so he agreed to do so. while kagome left to go and do what she needed to do. even though he was cursed later that night for his confession by the wicked witch,
