Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here the Chinatown brawl arc concludes, and this is where the adventure commences…

Ch. 3: Kaosu no owari
The scene shifts in Yokohama, where three members of the UQ Holder are currently in an assignment where they are to protect a client who works at Chinatown whose shop and business is being impeded by some gangsters who are harassing him for protection money, and now that the three UQ Holder members have arrived, they are in the process of carrying out this particular assignment.
The members are:
- Karin Yuuki
- Touta Konoe
- Konomaru Tokisaka
Right now the trio are engaged in a fight against some mafia members who are harassing a client who seeks the aid of UQ Holder, and as of this moment, the die has been cast and a brawl took place, where Karin and Touta are dealing with the ones outside, as Konomaru managed to get inside a drug store to aid the client, but the mafia goons threatened the client and Konomaru if they do not give them what they seek.
"Listen you two…"
"No one leaves alive…"
"We get what we want…"
"And we kill those who oppose us!"
"So prepare yourselves!"
"You won't be so lucky!"
"And you will feel our wrath!"
"Ha-ha!"
By then three of the goons were thrown inside via the window, where Karin is seen landing the blow, and there she told Konomaru to get the shopkeeper to safety as she and Touta will take care of the rest, which Touta can be heard getting excited in beating up some extortionists.
Karin reminded him not to get carried away, which he said he won't and will deal with the rest of the gangsters as quickly as possible so that no one else will get caught in the crossfire.
"Really?"
"Really, senpai!"
"…"
"Just leave it to me!"
"Fine."
"Alright!"
"Just finish it as soon as possible!"
"You got it!"
As the gangsters are distracted Konomaru grabbed the shopkeeper and went to the back exit area where he is assured that the gangsters will be taken care of and that they won't extort money ever again, which made him feel at ease.
There he realized that the ones helping him are from UQ Holder.
"Huh? Are you from UQ Holder?"
"Yes, sir."
"Really?"
"Yes, sir."
"Well bless my soul…thank you for answering my call!"
"We'll see to it that those goons won't bother you again."
"Yes, I appreciate it!"
"Okay."
As Konomaru is leading the shopkeeper to safety, the scene shifts to Karin and Touta, who are fighting the mafia members who are determined to eliminate those who get in their way, and they told the two teens that they made the biggest mistake of their lives, and vowed to kill them off a painfully as possible that the teens will regret for poking their nose where they don't belong.
"You brats!"
"You signed your death warrants!"
"Now you're gonna die!"
"And you will regret laying a hand on us!"
"Prepare to die!"
"And you will pay!"
"It will be too late to repent!"
"And too late to go back!"
Touta rubbed his nose while smirking, seeing that things are getting a bit exciting, though Karin reminded her comrade not to get carried away, reminding him that there might be other mafia members here as they do not know the exact number of enemies they are about to face, hence Karin tells Touta not to let his guard down.
An excited Touta assured to her that things will be fine as long as he doesn't get distracted, and Karin sighed as she tells him to just take down the mafia goons as soon as possible, and Touta nodded and tells her that after this he will take her out on a date, which made her blush and flustered, asking if he is serious or if he is joking.
"Huh?"
"You heard me, Karin-senpai."
"Are you…serious?"
"Yup."
"Do you know what you're saying?"
"Yup. I want to take you on a date."
"For real?"
"Yup."
The mafia goons felt insulted thinking that the two teens are making light of the mafia members and believed that Karin and Touta are looking down on the mafia men and they told the two teens that they are now digging their graves for mocking the mafia organization and they will set an example to those who dare challenge them.
"You brats!"
"Are you ignoring us?"
"Now you're gonna die!"
"And you will pay dearly!"
"Prepare to die!"
"That's right!"
"It will be too late to repent!"
"And too late to go back!"
The mafia goons charged as they brought out knives and tasers, poised to kill their targets in any way possible, and the leader of the group told his men not to hold back, and kill them even if they are just kids, for their reputation is on the line, which the mafia men roared in approval and vowed to show everyone why the mafia group is meant to be feared by all.
The henchmen nodded and acknowledged that they will show everyone why they are the most feared organization and will prove it by killing their targets, as a way to showcase their power and input fear to those who dare challenge them to a fight.
"Yes, sir!"
"Yes, sir!"
"Yes, sir!"
"Yes, sir!"
"Yes, sir!"
"Yes, sir!"
"Yes, sir!"
"Yes, sir!"
Touta grinned seeing that the mafia members appeared to put up a challenge, and Karin noted that her comrade is in high spirits, but then Touta said that after this he promised to take her on a date, and wanting to end this battle and Touta's silly comments, she said she will think about it.
She also said that if the mission is a success, she might consider it, which Touta smirked and said it is a promise and assured that the mission will be completed in a matter of minutes.
"Okay!"
"Just shut up and deal with those goons!"
"Sure! It'll be over in a moment!"
"…"
"And we're going on a date!"
"Fine."
"Heh-heh!"
"…"
The mafia members were pissed at hearing the teens' discussion and felt insulted at being looked down on, and they charged at their targets, screaming that they will pay the price for taking the mafia gang very lightly and not taking them seriously.
Touta and Karin saw them coming, and they made their move, and uses flash steps to move fast and uses their weapons to disable the targets without killing them, and the mafia members screamed in pain as they were systematically taken down and could not believe that they were being beaten by a pair of middle school-aged teenagers.
"AAIIEEE!"
"GGGYYYAAHH!"
"Waaahhh!"
"Damn it!"
"HELP!"
"GGAAAHHH!"
"RRRAAGGGHHH!"
"OOOOWW!"
The mafia members are taken down and knocked out, and thus ended the mafia's activities of extorting and harassing the merchants within Chinatown, and the Chinese merchants and residents cheered on as they are pleased that the UQ Holder members have taken care of the mafia men and put an end to their notorious activities.
You can hear them cheering compliments towards the two teens and regarded them as local heroes.
"Hurray!"
"They saved us!"
"The extortionists are taken out!"
"Chinatown is saved!"
"These kids are amazing!"
"Give them praise!"
"We are grateful!"
"Thank you!"
Konomaru and the shopkeeper came back, seeing that Touta and Karin are securing the mafia men and soon the police arrived to take the culprits away, and the shopkeeper is grateful for this and gives them a reward, in which he tells Karin that they will receive a pass where the UQ Holder can get a free 4 nights and 3 days stay at a beach resort in Kyoto, free of charge.
Touta was excited about this and asked the shopkeeper if this is true, which he said it is, which is a reward for helping him in ridding Chinatown of the mafia men, and the two exchanged compliments while Karin sighed in annoyance.
"Yes. the passes are good, and you and UQ Holder can go the any resort of your choosing."
"Really?"
"Really."
"Alright."
"You deserved it."
"Thanks!"
"You're welcome."
"Yahoo!"
Konomaru chuckled seeing that Touta is quite excited about getting a reward and tells Karin to let Touta have his moment, which Karin said that Touta may be a good fighter but he needs to ground himself and not act like a hyperactive kid, which Konomaru said that it is one of Touta's likable traits.
Karin stared in disbelief and said that she finds nothing likable about Touta, but Konomaru pointed out that she started to get fond of him, as well as opening up to him as shown when she formed a Pactio with Touta.
Karin blushed deeply and grabbed Konomaru by his collar and told her comrade not to mention that to Touta no matter what.
"Don't say it in front of Touta!"
"Huh?"
"Got that?"
"O-okay…"
"Please…"
"Sure. I won't tell Touta."
"Thanks."
"…"
Konomaru was taken aback by this yet accepted her request, but then Touta showed up behind Karin and said that the shopkeeper gave the free pass and now they will have to show it to Yukihime and get her and the others to tag along to the beach resort.
Karin twitched her eyes yet she had to stay silent as she doesn't want him to find out that she has gradually warmed up to him and intend to keep her appearances as the stoic Saintess of Steel.
Hilarity ensues as Touta said he can't wait to see Karin in a bikini so that he can compare the sexiness of her and Yukihime, causing Karin to get flustered and began to strangle Touta, much to his confusion and bafflement.
"You idiot!"
"GGGAAKK!"
"You and your big mouth!"
"GGGAAKK!"
"Why don't you shut up once in a while?"
"GGGAAKK!"
"Idiot!"
"GGGAAKK!"

At Fairyland Hall, the scene shifts at Yukihime's office, where the UQ Holder founder sneezed suddenly as she felt that something just took place, and wondered if someone is talking about her, and even suspected that Touta is the cause of all this.
Makabe asked Yukihime if there is something wrong but she assured to him that everything is okay and there is nothing to worry about, saying that she is guessing that Touta is talking about her.
"Really, Yukihime?"
"Yes."
"Who do you think someone is talking about you?"
"Probably Touta."
"That kid sure has his mind about you."
"I suppose…"
"Think he likes you?"
"Whatever."

Hope you liked this chapter, as action dominated most here, as Karin and Touta deal with the gangsters while Konomaru takes the shopkeeper to safety while the others handle the rest.
And now the situation is under control…and Chinatown is saved, where the UQ Holder members got a reward, and now all they need is to show it to Yukihime about it and the die is cast…
