Chapter 16:
Currently crawled into his big frame, inside his little apartment, in his bed, her face buried in his chest, his in her hair, and with every breath, he takes a whiff of her hair, it's a little funny, and she can't help but giggle. "Bradshaw, are you really sleeping?".
"Haven't for the past hour.".
"Then why pretend?".
"Because I don't want to move, I like having you here with me.".
She smiles into him, he was really adorable at times, technically, he was always adorable, but this beats the catch. "You're such a goof.".
He smirks he kisses her behind the ear, causing her to slightly kick and giggle. "But I am your goof." He whispers.
"Oh, you're gonna pay for discovering my tickle spot." She sounded more seductive then threatening. "Do as you please." He smirks, and she rolls him on his back and startles his lap. The covers dropping, revealing her half naked form. "I intend too.".
Meanwhile, Hangman was in the Hard Deck, he was celebrating his own victory, with Brad and Nat together, that means he gets to tease them on a new level. But he gets the feeling if he values his gorgeous face, he'll need to keep it to himself, ah well, he'll find a way around it.
Maverick was dancing in his living room, Brad is engaged, he feels like a new chapter in his life just begun, next thing he'll know, he'll be grandpa Mav, hmmm, he likes the sound of that. Picking up the phone, he calls Hondo, after the whole mission, Hondo decided to take some overdue leave to spend time with family up north.
"Maverick, its good to hear from you.".
"Sure is, Hondo.".
"Why are you so happy? Did you get a promotion?".
"Even better.".
"What's better then a promotion?".
"Let's just say, I am gonna have a daughter in-law soon.".
"Those two birds are finally getting hitched huh?".
"You said it, not me.".
"When's the wedding?".
"I don't know, they got engaged like yesterday.".
"I'll be there soon, send my congrats.".
