Sam stepped into the full tub. Lowering us both into the warm water. Sam pulled me up against his chest. I rested my head against him.

"Can I stay here forever?" My tired mind asked.

"Stay longer than forever" Sam kissed the top of my head.

Chapter 14: Breakfast Plans

As Always Happy Reading!

Sam helped me out of the tub. I was sore in a way that I had never known. Not that I was in pain. It was more that my body was trying to return to what it once was. Happily, I realized that was impossible. I would forever be molded to Sam, just as he was made for me.

Now that I was clean and dry, I really didn't want to dress back up in my fish smelling clothing. Sam was one step ahead of me.

Before I could ask if Sam had any options for me to wear, I caught my reflection in the mirror. My brown hair was still damp from the bath. I recognized the reflection as me, yet something had changed.

My face looked better. Maybe I had already put on some much needed weight. My eyes did not bug out as much as they used to. The volleyball captain who thought I was anorexic would make comments that I should eat more, that I was bringing the team's level of attractiveness down. Now I thought my skin and eyes looked glowing.

"I have some clothing that should fit you. We will have to tie up the pants with the drawstring" Sam spoke, walking into the bathroom. In his hands he had a pair of sweatpants and a Star Wars t-shirt. "They both fit me before I phased. I kept them, well to be honest, for this. I loved the idea of having a significant other wearing my clothing. After I phased and went up so many sizes I kept my old stuff. Good thing I did, you could wear my shirts as a dress if I gave you what I wear now."

"Thanks Sam" I smiled at him. My legs were still a bit sore. Without me saying anything, Sam bent down. He held the pants out so I could step comfortably into them then pulled them up, covering my naked form underneath. He pulled the drawstrings so the pants hung comfortably from my hips. Sam stood, helping me with my shirt. I could see how much he was enjoying this. The knowledge that he was taking care of me. He paused before covering my breasts. Looking at them longingly one last time before letting the soft worn fabric cover them.

"You are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen." Sam's voice was full of wonder.

I wrapped my arms around his neck. Sudden exhaustion overwhelmed me.

"You are tired?" Sam picked me up into his arms "do you want to sleep?"

"Can you hold me as we sleep?" I whispered.

"I couldn't let go of you if I tried" Sam walked us into the bedroom. Shutting off the lights I finally saw how dark it was outside. The ocean's water looked black at night. The huge moon in the sky was the only thing illuminating the view.

Sam pulled the rumpled covers open. He held me as he laid us under the covers. I fell asleep as his warmth saturated my skin.

I woke when the clear sky filled the room with untampered sunlight. My body was splayed out in the bed. I moved my hand, searching for the warmth that I had when I fell asleep. After a few minutes of searching, I realized I could not find my warmth. Opening my eyes, stretching my body, I sat up in the massive bed. Rubbing my eyes I looked for Sam. I hoped that I would get to wake up with him.

I noticed a note left on the side table:

Good morning my love.

I hope that you sleep in this morning. I had wished to wake up with you this morning. I should be home around 9 am.

Can't wait to see you.

Xoxo.

-Sam

Looking at the clock I saw that Sam was meant to come home in about an hour. Getting out of bed, I fingered through my hair. Trying to make it look less slept in. Maybe I will have to grab a hairbrush for my future sleepovers. I did not feel comfortable enough to snoop through Sam's bathroom for a potential hairbrush. When my appearance was not that of a one night stand, I grabbed a pair of Sam's socks. The chill was not leaving my skin. I needed my wolf cuddle to get past this chill. Tossing on one of Sam's sweaters, I left the bedroom.

Walking down the stairs, I heard movement in the living room. I paused, not expecting anyone else to be here. Fuck. Maybe I should have. This was the pack house, after all. My body froze. Maybe I should just go back to Sam's room and wait for him to come back.

"Coming downstairs, lil sis?" Seth called from the living room.

My body relaxed at the sound of his voice. Walking into the open main room, I saw Seth and Embry on the couch.

"Morning" I cheerfully greeted them.

"Just morning? Wow, not even a good morning?" Seth teased.

I tossed a throw pillow at him.

"If I hadn't known better, I would say you and Seth had been siblings for years." Embry laughed.

I looked lovingly at Seth. It did feel that way. If someone would ask, I would say that he and Leah are both my siblings. I don't think that I would add the step into the title. They will officially be my siblings by the end of the week anyway.

"So, little sister?" Seth raised an eyebrow at me.

"Do you guys want breakfast?" I asked, cutting off Seth's line of inquiry.

Both boys nodded. I walked into the kitchen, pulling out eggs and pancake mix.

"How many wolves do you think will come for breakfast?" I called into the living room.

"Probably." Seth started counting on his fingers "Hang on let me go ask" Seth streaked outside.

Why would more than just Sam be in wolf form right now? Was there a bigger reason as to why I woke up with no Sam this morning?

I started cracking eggs, knowing I do not think I could ever make too much food when it came to the pack. Heck, I could probably make Sam a full case of eggs and he would still have room for more.

When I was done cracking the first 12 eggs I pulled out the next case. I started to crack the first 6 of that case. Scrambled eggs will be the easiest to make for the wolves. If I ever have a rare moment of just Sam and I, then I would fry the eggs.

I started whisking the eggs together while waiting to hear Seth come back inside. When they had all whisked together, I grabbed the jug of milk. I had added that to the mix and was adding seasoning as Seth came jogging back inside.

"Sam wants me to ask you if the entire pack can come over for breakfast." Seth asked. "He also said it's okay to say no."

"Of course they can. Will you help me cook?" I asked him.

"Totally. I will let them know. When do you think we will have it all ready?" Seth paused his jog out the door.

"How many are coming?" I had agreed without knowing numbers.

"Embry. How many of us are there now?" Seth called into the living room.

Embry joined us in the kitchen. He was counting out loud like he was going through the list in his head. Embry started washing his hands. "I think we now have a pack of 17 or 18 now"

"So if I plan to feed 30 people we should have enough food?" I asked.

"Yeah that should work." Seth agreed.

"Are the imprints coming?" I stopped Seth from running outside.

"Shit, probably." Embry said.

"Okay." I paused thinking about how long it would take to cook breakfast for that amount of people. "I think the three of us can make enough food in a half hour"

"Seriously, a half hour?" Seth's eyes bugged.

"Yup. Can you ask Leah to bring me some clothing?" I asked Seth.

"Will do little Sis" Seth called back as he ran outside.

"What can I do to help?" Embry asked.

"Can you make pancakes?"

Embry nodded. He started making the batter with a familiarity of one that has done it often. When Seth returned he turned on music. It was almost a coffee shop style of music that accompanied our cooking.

"Leah will be by shortly with clothing for you" Seth tried to keep the smile off his face. I could see the joy he had that I was finally understanding what it meant to be imprinted.

I nodded at him, focused on not burning the eggs. Seth stood beside me frying potatoes and sausages that he had chopped into little cubes.

Within the first ten minutes the three of us completed making a breakfast that would have nourished a human family of 15.

Leah came walking in with my clothing in her arms. I handed Seth the spatula for the eggs. Leah looked me up and down, almost like she was checking that I was okay. I reached for my clothing and she laughed.

"You think that you are going to change and we are not going to have a sisters moment?." Leah started walking upstairs with my clothing.

I followed her upstairs. She opened one of the guest rooms leaving the door open for me to follow. I shut the door behind me.

"How are you feeling?" Leah handed me my clothing.

I placed the pile of clothing on the bed. Taking a breath before I answered.

"Leah. I never knew I could feel this complete in my life"

She jumped up and down "I knew it!"

"What?" I scrunched my eyebrows together.

"Well, I asked Sam after we dealt with the new wolf phasing this morning. He wouldn't say anything, the fucking gentleman" she rolled her eyes happily.

"What did you expect him to say?" I asked. "New wolf?"

"Yeah Yeah, new wolf. I am sure Sam will fill you in about it." She paused, shaking her head. To refocus on the topic she wanted to talk about "You know how we talk in wolf form. So I was expecting him to think of last night"

"I don't know how you all talk in wolf form," I admitted.

"Oh shit. Well, we think in pictures as wolves. So when we are thinking we show each other pictures. Most wolves fuck up. I have seen more sexual images of imprints then I care to say."

I could feel my cheeks lighting up with a deep blush.

"You have nothing to be nervous about. I have accidentally flashed the pack Jacob before. None of us judge it or anything."

"Did you see it today?" I asked

"No. Like I said, Sam is a gentleman. I didn't know you had sex until you blushed."

I felt nervous for a moment. It was such a big thing that I had sex with Sam. I wanted to do it more. Yet, at this moment I felt like a child again.

"You okay?" Leah asked.

"Yeah. It's just - I really liked it."

"I am glad you really like it. That is a good thing"

"Does that..." I paused. Trying to organize my question. "You wouldn't lie to me right?"

"Of course not. You are not only my Alphas imprint, but also my kid sister. I will tell you the truth"

"Is it okay that I really liked it? Like, does that make me a bad person?"

Leah burst out laughing "sorry" she laughed "sorry." Leah paused to collect herself. "I am glad you really like it. Honestly, if you didn't, I would question why. Are you hurt anywhere?"

"Hurt?"

"Yeah. In the past some of the wolves lost a bit of control. Rachel had a sore hip for a week. Kim had a headache the next day. Nothing too serious. Just, the wolf taking control from the person."

"Um" I analyzed my body. Nothing felt amiss.

"It didn't hurt for me, then again, I also turned into a supernatural wolf."

"I don't think I am hurt. Sam didn't lose control."

"Wow, no wonder he is Alpha. Jake and I both lost control for the first month." I started walking to the bathroom to change. "Bella, if you see any marks on your skin let me know. Mom has salve for this kind of thing"

I nodded. Closing the door behind me I stripped down. Looking in the mirror as I changed into the tshirt and jeans that Leah had brought. I was silently grateful that she packed a cute lacy blue underwear set. She must have thought I wasn't getting laid and that I might need the help.

I had no noticeable bruising on my skin. I focused hard on how my body was feeling. Everything felt perfectly right. I finished getting dressed. Folding Sam's borrowed clothes, I walked out of the bathroom with them under my arm.

"We will have to pack an overnight bag for you. That, or you pack an overnight supply at Mom and Dad's." Leah smiled at me.

"What do you do?"

"I have split my wardrobe between Jakes and home. Though I have to wait another two years for him to graduate for us to move in together."

"Oh?"

"Yeah. Though Charlie dropped you off for the night. I don't think he would be too upset for you to do the same thing."

"One can hope"

I walked back into Sam's room and put the folded clothing on the dresser top. I met Leah back by the stairs.

"I know you don't want to talk about it yet. After you get a few good rounds in, I totally need a girlfriend to talk too"

"Sure." I smiled at her. I did not have many girlfriends growing up. Always the opportunity, if I had time to spare. Which for the most part I did not. School kids labeled me weird because I focused on getting homework completed in the library instead of eating lunch. Sometimes that was because I did not have lunch to bring.

The boys held down the kitchen while I was gone. Nothing looked burnt, quite the opposite. Everything looked well made and delicious. Seth handed me back my egg spatula. I continued cooking them until I had two huge bowls heaping with hot eggs. Seth had the same sized bowls full with fried potatoes and cubed sausages. Embry was more methodical. He placed three huge pancakes on each disposable plate. When I counted the plates it equaled out to be enough for 40 people.

"We are expecting 40 people?" I asked.

"No. Just in case people want seconds" Embry smiled.

When Embry plated the last of the pancakes it was like a silent signal went off. All the doors of the house opened. Pack members poured in from every angle. My heart stopped momentarily. This was way more people than had been at the dinner I made. Now that I thought about it, mainly the imprinted pairs had shown up that night. Now this was the full pack.

An arm snaked around my middle, pulling me back against a warm body. I felt the elastic band that had been pulling at me all morning finally relax. "Smells wonderful in here Love" Sam whispered to me. No doubt in my mind every wolf heard what he told me. "I will grab us some food. I think the dining table should fit all of us." Sam spoke to me. "Paul, Jacob, can you put the extra leaves on the dining table? I want us to eat family style today."

The men moved to do as Sam asked. I turned in his arms. I wanted to see him. He looked as perfect as I remembered. Not a hair out of place on his handsome head. He leaned down and placed a light kiss on my lips. Hoots and hollers echoed around the room. The pack members started moving the food and themselves to the dining room when Sam looked up at them. Once they had left the room he placed a deep passionate kiss to my lips that left my head spinning.

I followed him into the room. Sam's hand never left mine. He guided me to the opposite side of the table. Sam took a seat at the head table spot, pulling me down on his lap. I hoped this would become a habit of ours. It was honestly the most comfortable spot to sit.

The pack began dishing up and eating the food. It was shocking how many members the pack had. Each imprint was doing as I was, sitting on the lap of their wolf. Including Leah, who was sitting across from me, as Jacob held the other honored position at the table. Leah gave me a look that threatened to cause my cheeks to go up in flames. I didn't return her blush-causing glance, instead focusing on eating from Sam and my shared plate.

"Wow Sam, you hit the jackpot. Not only can Bella cook, but she can inspire the pack pups to help" an unimprinted man commented from down the table.

"Brady" Seth whispered. Seth had chosen a seat to our right. I smiled at him silently thanking him for connecting the person to the name.

"Well she is my sister after all. No one would make a better Alpha's mate" Leah winked at me from across the table. The pack nodded. Imprints winking at me as Leah had.

I tried to hold down the blush I felt climbing up my skin. Sam held me tighter against his body. This move calmed me, almost focused me into my role. Maybe Leah was right, it was almost a natural thing to be with Sam.

The pack ate the food in record time. Everytime I put down my fork, Sam would spear more sausage onto it. I played along, eating a few more bites. He seemed satisfied after that. I felt fuller than I had ever been. If this is what it was going to be like, I was going to gain weight.

When everyone had finished and there was no food left on the table, small conversation broke out amongst the pack. I couldn't help but notice one young boy who wasn't talking to anyone. He kept his head down, focused on not drawing anyone's attention. From what I could see he was succeeding with the majority of the pack. A few imprints kept him in their eye line. They would glance over at him every once in a while. I mentally made a note to ask someone about that later.

Slowly, people got up and cleared the table. I watched as the boy didn't move. He stayed sitting and waiting. Waiting for what? I wondered. Sam was playing with my hair. I loved it when he did this. Slowly, he braided it back. I relaxed under his touch. He tied my hair back with an elastic he must have had in his pocket.

"I can't get over how cute you both are," Rachel smiled at us.

"Are we as bad as you and Paul used to be?" Sam teased.

"Well, you made it through a full group meal without going upstairs, so I am going to say not yet" she smiled.

I felt heat try to rush into my cheeks. Sam squeezed my leg, calming the effect of the blush.

"So, what are the plans for today?"

"Jarred" Seth whispered again. He took it upon himself to be my name guide for this first big pack interaction.

"Well Jarred. I think we do hour patrols. It's the nicest day we have had in a while. Unless someone wants to do a three hour cycle in groups" Sam left it up to the group. Everyone shook their heads. The one hour patrols must be a nice thing. "Buddy up. Kyle, you will be with me. What team wants to go first?"

The young boy looked up from his empty plate at Sam's words. Kyle looked like he was in shock. I felt bad for the kid. Maybe I could help him. After all, I was still learning all this too.

"Embry and I will" Seth declared before anyone else had even buddied.

Embry smiled, he must have been expecting Seth to volen-told him.

"That way we can go cliff jumping" Seth smiled at me.

"Heck yes" I smiled at my brother.

I watched as the two of them ran out the door. When I looked back at the rest of the pack, all the imprinted men had their mouths wide open.

Leah must have noticed as well. She turned on Jacobs lap and smacked him in the shoulder. "What is with the shocked faces?" Leah asked the group.

"Leah. She is 100% human" Jacob declared.

"And?" Rachel asked. She stared her brother down.

"Honey, you never wanted to go cliff jumping." Paul reminded her.

"When are you going?" Rachel asked me.

"Not sure. I was letting the guys pick. Honestly, I thought we were going tomorrow" I admitted.

"That was the plan, but today is nicer conditions" Sam informed us.

"Wait. Sam, you knew she was planning on going cliff diving?" Jarred added.

Quil interrupted "that is so not safe for a human to do"

Both of their imprints looked questioningly at them.

"Bella can do whatever she wants," Sam smiled at me.

"Please don't think about it," Paul told Rachel.

"Too late." She smiled at him. Paul pulled Rachel in for a kiss. He seemed to like the idea almost as much as Rachel had.

"I want to go too, '' the girl on Quil's lap piped up.

"I agree with Clare," the girl on Jarred's lap added.

"Kim you can't be serious" Jarred spoke to his imprint. "Sam '' Jarred looked pleading at Sam.

Sam wrapped his arms around me in a tight embrace. I looked at him just in time for his lips to meet mine. I think he was aiming for a cheek kiss. He broke our kiss with a smile.

"Jarred. I don't know about you, but I can't say no to my imprint." Sam stated matter-of-factly.

"Why would you? Jake and I go cliff diving all the time." Leah smiled like a cat across the table from me.

"Leah, you are as indestructible as us" Jared quipped back.

"Sam and I would have gone last night if the waves weren't too high." I told the table.

"It's true. That's why I told Seth and Embry that today would be a good day to go. Conditions are perfect and you really wanted to go" Sam added.

"Sam, it's not that simple. You are new to imprint. The second Bella is going to jump, you are going to stop her" Quil added.

I looked at Sam. He simply shook his head no.

"What time are you going to jump at?" Jarred asked.

"I think, if everyone is planning on going, how about around 3pm?" Sam asked the table.

The imprinted men sat bone still. Except for Jacob, but he and Leah had been cliff diving many times before.

"Perfect. We will be there" Rachel smiled. I smiled back at her. Paul kissed her, murmuring something about his imprint being a wild lady. This was going to be a fun afternoon.
