Chapter 5

Author's note: hello everyone, this is the new chapter, this one is almost entirely made on voice to text app I hope you like it

It has been about two weeks since he has started with his training with his transformation jutsu being able to now sustain it for about two hours he's chakra reserves weren't the Best but he would try to train them over there next few months after all in the Ninja World it was a necessity, yet still he was way behind Naruto or even Sasuke, hell he didn't even know if he was ahead of Sakura therefore he decided to continue training as much as he could, he developed his very own type of training for chakra reserves.

This training being releasing as much chakra as he could all the time as an example through his fingers to make things spin, it turned out to be a lot more exhausting than what he had expected, as it turns out chakra is very much attached to his stamina but this did help him get some ideas, like imitating the chakra strings from Kankuro, he has a hard time wrapping his head around the logistics of it as per how to mold chakra into strings he ended up thinking of it has some kind of wool be easy to turn it into a string by spinning it around and into itself, in a similar fashion to how string is regularly handmade, this obviously wasn't as good as Kankuro's, It wasn't able to actually grab things or have a good hold onto anything but it would still work for a training.
Thanks to the efficiency and ease to use of thes training technique he had even more time to look around and learn about the world, he had assumed that he was born around the same time naruto, but he didn't quite know for sure, thanks to his parents being ninjas theory often left him in his grandmother's house giving him access to a rather big library, he searched around in history books they showed what was expected, Madara, Hashirama, and the great ninja wars, then he found some books including mentions of the attack of the nine tailed fox, it mentioned it as being just barely five years ago, then he estimated he was just a few days maybe a month older than Naruto, this was unexpected but welcomed, if he's lucky he might even be in team seven, having as a sensei a ninjutsu specialist would be pretty useful, for now he decided to take a day or two off from the regular training of his chakra, to rest a little and let his reserves refill completely, while that happened ha decided to learn how to play shogi, it was like a japanese chess so it wouldn't be all that hard to learn, and it wasn't, there was one set on a drawer there so he took the chance to look at it, he took it out and brought it to the living room where grandma was siting and set it the table. He obviously had no idea how to play or organize the pieces so he set them in a random other and looked at them, nope, absolutely no idea how this worked, until grandma got up as far as he could remember she didn't really speak a lot, just enough to communicate, she started to organize the pisces in the correct order and signaled to him to do the same, so he did, carefully she pointed and moved the pieces basicly explaining how to move them.

soon enough they were playing in silence, the first few rounds went to grandma, the usual silence being broken by the taping of the pieces being moved, grandma continued winning over and over again until he finally got grandma's king on check a simple smile formed on his face, the move of a knight from grandma and checkmate, he looked at her with a wide grin, she smiled too while starting to organize the pisces once again.

this continued for a while until Ito and Nagato came to pick him up, he waved at grandma as a form of saying goodbye, in the travel back home Nagato asked him

"so, how was staying at grandma's house today?, did you do anything exciting"

he waited for a second "well, grandma taught me how to play shogi, it was pretty fun actually"

"Oh! I loved playing shogi with her when I was little!" Ito chimed in the conversation

"Do you wanna play with your mama later?" Ito looked at him with a wide grin

he did no more than look at her dead in the eye and say "No thank you", before walking slightly faster before walking slightly faster ;; with the clear intent of leaving them behind.

Once at home since it had gotten quite late so he was sent to bed leaving Ito and Nagato alone

"The office gave us another mission for tomorrow, we'll have to leave him at your mother's house again for three days" Nagato said pinching the ridge of his nose

"i feel bad having to leave him there so often and at such a young age, maybe one of us should quit and stay at home to take care of him"

"You might be right, but we are leaving him with your grandma plus you saw just how smart he already is, even if we left him alone, i'm sure one way or another he could be able to manage it"

"I guess you're right, anyway's, what do they want us to do this time?"

"Apparently it's a reconnaissance mission, to scout round the area of a town on which several people and even a group of chunin that were resting there, the strange thing is that their clothes and gear were found abandoned on the floor all of them with different damages, one had several holes on the arms, one was full of dust and half burnt and the last one was cut in half, but no blood at all"

"Did they give you any indication as to what could have done it?"

"there was some speculation of it being Kumo ninjas, but no evidence pointed to that, some said it was some kind of out of control summon but no actual evidence for anything"

"I guess we have to go and scout the area in case it's an animal with Akai, right?"

"Yeah, there is a chance that they send Mukata too there were some mentions of several traps from hunters around the town"

Nagato yawned and slowly walked around her before finaly going to their room

"For now i'll go get some sleep good night"

"good night, sleep well"

23 DAYS BEFORE ENTERING THE ACADEMY

Author's note: i had the idea to make the next chapter maybe focused on Ito and Nagato during the misión mentioned, i have a few plans on making the original storyline a bit more interesting, also there is a chance i might end up forgeting the names of the new ninja friends mentioned here Akai ans Mukata
