Also for anyone asking. Yes, Danny can very obviously just reveal his identity to the team, but Danny in my universe is very protective over his halfa status. Not only are there cameras everywhere in mount justice, but all of his teammates are connected to the Justice League. And with the justice league, they could be connected to the GiW. So his first thought isn't going to be to reveal his identity and the fact that halfa's exist. But that doesn't mean he won't at all, he's probably gonna get fed up eventually. Also, it is much more chaotic this way and makes the story better sooooo...

"Nope!"

Danny spun on his heel the moment he noticed where they were going. Megan grabbed onto the halfa's arm and stopped him from leaving. "Phantom come on!" she pleaded, Danny rolled his eyes and turned back to face her.

"I'm not going to school!" Danny gestured to the building ahead of him. Teenagers with backpacks going in and out.

Megan didn't back down from her cheery attitude. "Phantom school is one of the best things on earth you can experience! You have friends and you get to learn about earth customs. Ever since Me and Conner have been going it's been a blast." She gestured to superboy who only shrugged in response.

Danny attempted to cross his arms. Megan was still holding onto his wrist, probably to stop him from running. Not that he would make it far with everyone here. He instead put his hand on his hip. "Why is the school even running right now anyway? It's the middle of July!"

"Summer school," Robbin commented. His arms were crossed, and his eyes were still covered with shades. An effort to conceal his identity that surprisingly worked. Everyone else from the team was around Danny in their civilian clothes.

Kaldur looked up at the school with a thoughtful expression. Wally sped over to Megan and wrapped an arm around her shoulder, making her let go of Danny's wrist. "Megan, I know you're heart is in the right place! But School!" Megan tilted her head at the speedster. "We can't take our baby to high school! He won't survive in there!"

"-Hey!" Danny protested with a sputter.

Artemis put her hand on Megan's shoulder. "I think Wally's right here M. I don't know if school is the best option. How about we go somewhere else. Not everyone loves it as much as you do."

Danny pinched the bridge of his nose. "And I have already been bullied throughout my entire school life. Going back isn't going to do me any good." He threw his hand to the side.

"You were bullied!" Megan's face was in shock. She rocketed forward out of Wally's grasp and wrapped her arms around Danny. "I'm so sorry! I hope I didn't bring back any traumatic memories! It's okay we don't need to go in there."

Danny started to feel bad. He didn't want to hurt her feelings or make her feel bad. "Megan I'm fine. It happens. I just happened to have a particularly bad school, with some particularly awful people." Danny shrugged. One of the ghosts that had gone there had died of bullying, but he decided not to mention that.

Conner walked over and patted Danny's head like he didn't know what else to do in the situation. He then put his hand on Megan's back. Danny pulled Megan away from him by her shoulders so he could look at her. She looked sad. "It's okay, how about we do one of your other plans. Surely you had a backup! I'm sure it will be fun!" He wanted to cheer the martian up.

Megan's face brightened again. "We can go to the mall! I also love to go to the mall!"

Danny chuckled, happy that she wasn't sad anymore. "Sounds good."

Wally sped over between them giving them both a hug. "That settles it! Shopping trip!" He laughed. "Robin's paying!"

"Hey-" Robin started to protest.

Wally smiled. "Don't act like you can't" He said playfully. Like he knew that truly Robin wouldn't care if they spent his money.

Robin sighed. "Fine." But he had a smirk on his lips, he really didn't care.

Kal nodded "Sounds like a plan." They all started to walk away from the school. Happy Harbor was a small town, they could walk anywhere they needed to.

Artemis smirked and draped her arm around Danny's shoulders. "You know what we need to buy when we are there." Danny raised an eyebrow at her, looking hesitant. "One of those leash backpack things! To keep track of you!" There was amusement in her voice.

Danny made a squawking sound, and ducked out from under her arm, trying to escape. Only to be stopped when Conner grabbed him from under his arms again and was holding him just above the ground. Conner and his stupid super-strength. He just continued walking holding Danny.

"I can't with you guys!"

Everyone around him just smiled innocently.

Lmao, I love writing this story so much! Poor Danny. I also can't stop seeing Danny being carried around like a kitten by Conner! (Someone please draw that, I'm begging you! XD) Also, I remember someone mentioning something about one of those backpack leashes in the comments! I tried to find it but couldn't :( But thank you so much for that idea, I couldn't stop laughing when I read it! Lol if you guys have any other ideas that you want to see in the future I would be happy to add them XD Love you all!
