Akira's POV
(what the hell do they need) I thought annoyed at the fact that I wasn't able to take the exam
(damn it) I said in my mind looking around the Hokage office not wanting to meet the eyes of the four geezers
"Are you just gonna stare at me or what?" I said annoyance clear in my voice
Danzo clears his throat before speaking "We want you to do something," Danzo said eyeing me
"Can't you get straight to the point; I don't have all the time in the world" I said emotionlessly putting my hands in my pockets
(I rather read a book than stand here with these old people)
"Okay, we want you to watch Naruto" Danzo said looking at me very serious
"What do you mean watch Naruto, is he an actor?" I said confused at what he was trying to say
(Why would I watch Naruto, I'm not a creep)
"No, that's not what I mean, I know you're not stupid, Akira. We want you to watch Naruto's every movement, and report it to us" He said getting a little annoyed by my responses
(Apparently, when I'm talking to you, I'm becoming one)
"It's more likely 'I want you to watch Naruto's every movement, and report it to ME'" I said with a mocking tone
" And why would I do that?... You're old enough to do it by yourself, don't ask a 12-year-old to do it for you" I continued, getting annoyed with the situation.
"Don't you know who you're talking to, Akira?" One of the councilor's said
"Of course I know, I'm talking to old people..." I said looking at them seriously
I can see the shock in the two counselor's eyes at my disrespectful answer, I look at Danzo and meet his eyes with anger,
I smile at him innocently
"You do know you can get in trouble with what you're doing, right?" He spoke
"Don't really care... I would never watch Naruto for you" I said
"This is for the village Akira!" He said his anger rising
"right...Do you always say that to people to get what you want?" I asked not showing any emotion tilting my head to the side. I can see the slight shock in his eyes
I can see the Sandaime-sama stand up feeling the sudden change in the atmosphere, I look at him seeing his eyes telling me not to talk back anymore
"Akira, I think you should go... there's still time for you to take the graduation exam" Sandaime-sama said, interrupting what was I about to say
"Danzo, you didn't tell me any of these" "But this is for the village, Hiruzen, we all know that the ni- we need someone close to watch over him" Danzo argues
"He wasn't supposed to take the exam, and get missions outside the village... we can't let the holder of- he is our weapon" The damn bandage man continued but got interrupted
(What do you mean by weapon... I really hate, damn you) I thought as I try to calm myself
"No, I won't allow any of these, Danzo" Sandaime-sama said not taking any more explanation, He then look at me with a kind smile placed on his lips "Akira, I'll handle this, you may now leave"
"I'm sorry, for being disrespectful Danzo-sama, but I can't do what you're asking me to do..." I said to him bowing my head slightly
"Thank you, Hokage-sama, I'll take my leave" I said before I raised my head again, I take a last look at Danzo before turning back, leaving the Office.
( I'm done with your bullshits Danzo... Naruto had been through enough, trust is something Naruto gave me and I'm not planning to betray his trust) I thought walking down the stairs of the Hokage Tower.
I open my eyes, still sleepy, my eyes adjusting to the dark (it's too quiet)
I look at the bed beside me, expecting to see a blond-haired boy sprawled out on the bed snoring loudly
(ha?... He's here already before I fall asleep, actually, he's the first one to fall asleep) I thought getting confused. I look at the clock '3:50'
(It's already midnight, where is that hyperactive go?) Question flooding my head, a sudden thought made me rise to my feet
(no, no, Danzo would never do such a thing, would he?) I thought walking back and forth
(besides jiji-sama said he will handle it, he did, right?) I said my heart racing
I continue pacing back and forth, all negative thoughts flowing freely in my head
(I should find him... I can't let Naruto get hurt) I thought, suddenly I hear a commotion outside
"No, he's not here" I hear one of the people said
I look outside the window to see some jounin and chunin jumping from house to house looking frantic.
(what's happening?...is some crazy guy wandering around the village... no, no Naruto is still not here, he might get hurt) I thought worry getting the best of me, I took a rusty kunai with me, just in case. I wear my jacket and leave through the window
"damn it! I still can't find him!" I said seeing the sun is already rising (I've already expanded my chakra to the best I can, but I still can't sense him) I thought getting annoyed at myself for not being able to find Naruto, Suddenly I sense a burst of chakra
(that chakra... no mistake... it's Naruto's) I look at the direction of where I sense Naruto's Chakra
(but why would he go there?... Man, this is no time for questions) I quickly jump from tree to tree.
I just follow Naruto's chakra (why is it so many?... maybe a trap?) Just as I thought of it the chakra surrounding the forest suddenly decreases (ha?...)
When I see a cloud of smoke I quickly stop and wait for it to disappear. When it disappears, I quickly jump down the tree, I look around my surroundings and notice Mizuki-sensei looks beaten up, then I see Naruto and Iruka-sensei at the three hugging each other.
Much to my confusion about Mizuki-sensei being beaten up. I decided to ignore him and quickly walk towards Naruto and Iruka-sensei.
(sorry, but you're not one of my priorities)
When I get a closer looked at the both of them
"Iruka-sensei... Naruto..." shock clear in my voice
( what the hell happened to them?) still in shock
"Yo! Akira-chan" Iruka-sensei said smiling at me
"... w-what happened?" I ask looking at all of his wounds. Not caring about what he called me
"ohh... it's nothing" He said trying to be convincing by trying to stand, only to fall with his back against the tree. He groaned due to the impact.
" yeah... right, 'it's nothing'" I said quoting what he said.
Iruka-sensei was about to speak when Naruto interrupted him
"Akiraaa! you're here!" He said hugging me, looking all excited
I shove him away, not really fun of hugs
"Naruto, there's no time for that we need to bring Iruka-sensei to the hospital" I said turning to look at Iruka-sensei who was looking at us smiling.
A scroll suddenly caught my attention
( that scroll looks familiar...) I thought trying to remember where did I see it. An imaginary light bulb appears on top of my head
"ehh... Isn't that the scroll of sealing, why is it here?" I said with confusion
(forbidden jutsu is written in that scroll, so that should not be here) I said in my head
"hehehe...well you see...maybe, I got trick ..." Naruto said looking nervous and unsure
(what does he mean by that?) there was a pause, as I try to understand what he's trying to say
My hand covers my mouth in shock
"w-what the hell..." I said my hand is still covering my mouth
"ahhahaha... well, at least I learned an awesome Jutsu-dattebayo" He said giving me a thumbs up. My eyebrows started twitching.
I decided to ignore the fact that Naruto's the reason why the scroll is here, (I need to hear the whole story... ) I thought letting out a heavy sigh
"okay... what is it?" I ask curious what he learned from the scroll, and instead of telling me, he did a hand sign
"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" He said 5 solid clones appeared beside him. He looks at me with a very happy expression, while shaking slightly his forehead protector.
(so… he passed) I can't help the smile forming on my lips,
I don't know what's got into me, but it's already too late
I give Naruto a hug, squishing him
"A-akira... I can't breathe" Naruto said struggling a little
I hug him more loosely, a tear falling down my eyes
"You baka! I thought something happened to you..." I said burying my head in his shoulder
"Please, don't do that again..." I said still hugging Naruto
"Gomen, gomen, I promise I will never do it again-dattebayo" He said rubbing my back
(why am I like this, stop being sad, Akira... Naruto is here ...safe) I said to myself
To lighten the mood I whisper something in his hears before letting go of the hug
"You're a mood killer, Akira" He said a frown on his face
" I hate you..." he said turning his head to the side trying to be serious, but the small smile forming on his lips betrayed him.
"...if you really wanted badly to learn the 'kage bunshin' you should have asked me instead...naruto..." I whisper before letting go of the hug, remembering what I said, I can't help but let out a soft chuckle.
I turn to look back at Iruka-sensei to say sorry for forgetting about him... But when I look at him, I can literally see a heart shape in his eyes while he stares to Naruto and me, chuckling a little while slightly swaying his head side to side, with his chin resting on both of his hands.
"What is it, Iruka-sensei?" I ask confused
He made a comment making both of us; Naruto and I to look at each other, our eyes locked then we both gagged in disgust just thinking about it.
What Iruka-sensei said rung in my head repeatedly " You two would make an amazing couple..."
