Akira's POV
Once I see Sakura, I remove my henge and jump into a tree hiding
Naruto looked at where I am and I gave him a thumbs up. Naruto smiled and continue walking toward Sakura. He stops smiling to look more like Sasuke. Naruto stood by a tree and look at Sakura with a smirk, I nod my head watching the scene
(Naruto, don't you dare failed this, I even help you...)
Naruto approached Sakura, he was about to say something when I got shocked making me jump.
"That's really a good plan, Neko-chan." The teasing voice said.
My eyebrow twitch and I turn my head to look at the person beside me with a cold stare
"I'm not a Neko" I said coldly
He just gave me a smile... (I don't know really know... he has a mask) I thought staring at his mask.
" I don't want to be rude but what are you doing here?" I said looking back at his eyes, him having a bored look
"Ma, ma... It just happens that you're in my reading spot" He explained
"Then go read somewhere..." I said shooing him away, looking back at the scene
I grimace at the scene " what the hell..." I mutter
"It's normal for someone your age..." I jump at the voice again
(I'm going to die because of a heart attack. )
"I'm not asking." I said still looking at the scene in which Naruto in a henge of Sasuke is about to kiss Sakura
"mhmm" The voice hummed, his voice is rather too close. I move away from him a little.
Suddenly Naruto stood up looking at where I am, the person beside me hiding. Naruto then run holding his stomach.
"huh?..." I said confused
(diarrhea?... don't tell me...) I facepalmed myself remembering something.
"Damn it... I leave a note for him not to drink the goddamn milk" I mutter looking where Naruto dash off
"Well... he isn't the kind of person to listen" (I thought he had already left)
"Why are you even here?" I ask him again
"I told you this is my reading spot," He said like his getting tired with me asking the same question
(I'm just gonna leave damn it) I thought ready to jump from my hiding spot
"wait..."
"what?" I asked him, frowning
"There's Sasuke," He said making me stop and look back where Sakura is
I just sigh
"Why don't you just go, Hatake-san" I said not really getting why he's here, watching my teammates
"I just told-"He said but I interrupted him
"And you think I'm gonna believe that, you're not even reading a book, you're watching my teammate" I said looking straight at him
"I like watching teenage dramas" My eyebrow twitch at his response
(man... this guy is really weird... all of this making me tired)
I just lean my back against the tree and I close my eyes, trying to relax a little.
Third Person's POV
Akira just lean her back against the tree and closed her eyes, looking tired all of a sudden.
Kakashi just looks at her, as if trying to observe her, trying to search for something. There's a feeling that something is wrong, something he doesn't understand. He is the Copy Ninja how come something like this, makes him confused and uneasy.
"I should have thrown that milk...Knowing he's not going to listen..." Akira suddenly said eyes still close
"mhhm" Kakashi hums, still in deep thoughts.
"It's normal..." Kakashi said a smile appearing on his face, dismissing the confusion in his mind.
"what is?" Akira said crossing her arms, opening her closed eyes
"Having infatuation at this age, and having your first kiss at this age" Kakashi said a hint of teasing in his voice.
"I don't really care... I'm not planning on having an infatuation/crush or what you want to call it with anyone.." Akira said looking at Sakura who's now alone looking hurt.
"I'm not planning on having a relationship with anyone... people my age having their first kiss isn't weird, I know it's normal, but Naruto in a henge of Sasuke kissing Sakura, then Sakura believing it's Sasuke, is what's weird," Akira said grimacing at the memory. Kakashi stared at her for a few seconds
"Indeed, it is..." Kakashi said a smile appearing on his lips hidden under his mask
Akira's POV
"Indeed, it is..." Hatake-san said looking like his smiling under his mask (I guess...)
"I still needed to see our jonin-sensei," I said looking at where Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke now, wanting to just leave.
"Hoping at not seeing you again, Hatake-san" I said standing up from my sitting position
"Sure..." Hatake-san said giving me an eye smile, not bothered at my comment.
I just stare at him and jump down the tree
(Don't jinx me, Kami-sama) I thought walking towards where Sakura and the rest of the team is.
"There are you Akira... We were waiting for you" Sakura said giving me a smile
"I guess, my timing is good" I said putting one of my hands in my pocket
Sakura grabbed Naruto's and Sasuke's hand "Now, that we're complete we should go back and meet our jonin-sensei" Sakura said, Sasuke not caring Sakura hold his hand
Naruto grabbed my left hand and we all started to walk holding hands
*At the Academy
"He's late" Naruto said looking outside the room
" Naruto, just stay still" Sakura said
"Right, Naruto just sit here, maybe they will be here soon." I said reading my book and patting the seat beside me
"Why's it that only our squad's teacher is late? The other squad has gone off somewhere with their new teachers, and Iruka-sensei also left." Naruto explained looking frustrated.
"Naruto, just sit" I said again, also annoyed that our jonin-sensei is late
(what is our sensei doing?)
Suddenly Naruto grabbed the chalk eraser and put it on top of the door
"Hey, What are you doing Naruto?" Sakura said, walking towards Naruto
"Hey!" Sakura said disapprovingly. I closed the book I'm reading and stand up. I grabbed the chalkboard eraser, his about to put on the door
"ehh... Akira" Naruto said
"Naruto, stop it" Sakura said
I go in front of the classroom ignoring them
I grabbed the chalk and scratch it on the chalkboard eraser
"ehh..." Sakura said confused
I walk toward Naruto and give the chalkboard eraser to him, Naruto gave me a cheeky smile and grabbed the chalkboard eraser
"It's his fault because he's late" Naruto said putting the eraser again on the top of the door.
" A jonin wouldn't get caught in such a weak trap" Sasuke explained
"That's right, you both are an idiot." Sakura said, agreeing with Sasuke
"well... you never know" I said shrugging
Walking back in front of the classroom, grabbing another chalkboard eraser and chalk, doing the same action as earlier
We stopped arguing, when a hand suddenly appear on the door, opening the door causing the chalkboard eraser to fall on his head to the floor
"AHAHAHAH, we got him.. we got him... " Naruto said pointing a finger at our sensei. I just stood there wanting to just hit my head on the table in front of me.
Our sensei look around the room.
"I'm sorry, sensei, I tried to stop them but they still did it.." Sakura apologies
His eyes look at all the team members, then it stops when he meets my eyes. He looks at what I'm holding
(I wanted to throw this on his face...)
Instead, I just dropped it and walk towards my teammate
( I even get caught...) He look at me for a few seconds, then examine again all the team members, then he grabbed the chalkboard eraser that falls on his head and look at it.
" How can I put this?..." He said closing his eyes and put one of his hands under his chin to look like his thinking
"As for my first impression of you guys?...Well, I hate you." He said with seriousness but having a bored look
My teammate's shoulders drop at that
"Okay, follow me" He said, starting to walk
All of them complied immediately, while I just stood there for a second, wanting this to be a dream
(Kami-sama, why?...) I thought and started to follow them. I walk beside Naruto
"Akira, I'm excited" Naruto said with a huge smile
"Good for you..." I said still not accepting the fact that his my-our sensei
(so that's why his watching our team)
Sensei looks at us, observing the team interaction
Once we reach our destination he asks us to sit and he makes his way toward the railing leaning on it, his arms crossed on his chest
"Let's see. First off let me have you guys introduce yourselves" He said
"Introduce ourselves...what should we say?" Sakura asked
"Your likes, dislike, your future dream, hobbies things like that!" Sensei explained
"Hey! Before that please tell us about yourself-dattebayo" Naruto said curiously
(don't they know him?... well, actually his name is all I know about him, though. Actually, I also know his nickname)
" Me? My name is Hatake Kakashi.I don't feel like telling you guys my likes and dislike. I never really thought about my future dream...As for my hobby, I have many..." He said looking at the sky
"at the end, isn't all we know is his name?" Naruto and I nodded at Sakura
"You should have told us you don't want us to know anything about you, Ha-Kakashi-sensei" I said with a deadpanned, he just looked at me.
"Next is you guys" He said gesturing his hand to us
"Let's start with you" He said looking at Naruto
"My name's Uzumaki Naruto. I like instant ramen, but what I like even more is the ramen from Ichiraku that Akira and Iruka-sensei treat me. What I dislike is the 3-minutes wait after pouring hot water into the instant ramen. My hobby is eating ramen and comparing ramen! And my future dream is to surpass the Hokage, and I'm going to get the village to acknowledge my existence-dattebayo" He said with determination while holding his forehead protector, slightly shaking it.
" I'm hurt..." I said once he's finished , my right hand is on top of my left chest
They all looked at me
"eh?" Naruto and Sakura said confused, While sensei just stare at the scene
" You... just like the ramen I treat you..." I said to Naruto pointing a finger at him jokingly accusing him.
"ohh..." Naruto looks back again to our sensei
" And on top of that, I love Akira!" He announced raising his fist in the air, Sakura and I both chuckle, Sasuke having a small smile.
Sensei just look at the team and taking in the scene
" Okay, next" Sensei said looking at Sakura
"I'm Haruno Sakura. What I like is... I mean who I like is...and my hobby is, I mean...My future dream ..." She said looking at Sasuke the entire time with a blush
(what does she mean by hobby?... Is she saying that his hobby is being Sasuke's fangirl? Or stalking Sasuke?)
"And what about your dislike?" Sensei asks her
"Naruto!" Sakura said immediately making Naruto sulk. Sensei just stare at her thinking.
"Next!" Sensei said looking at Sasuke
" My name's... Uchiha Sasuke. I have a lot of dislikes, but no likes in particular. And I don't feel like summing up my ambition as just a dream but I do have an ambition! The ambition to restore my clan and without fail to kill a certain man" He finishes having a dark demeanor surrounding him
" I see..." I blurted out
They looked at me, confused
"ahaha.. sorry I was just imagining something..." I lied, giving them an awkward smile
Sensei only locked his gaze on Sasuke for a few moments, his brows wrinkled, before turning to face me, his face altering to a bored expression.
"Okay, now, you" He said looking at me
"Well, my name's Akira." I just said, Naruto knew I always introduce myself like this, the other looked at me waiting, both of my eyebrows raised
"what?... that's all." I said, they still didn't move and looked at me, Naruto looking like he's waiting for something. My eyebrow twitch at his expression
"... and I like my team, unfortunately," I said with a deadpanned
"and that's all" I continued, letting them know that I will not add anything to my introduction.
"Good, The four of you are very distinctive and interesting! We'll have a mission tomorrow!" Sensei said crossing his arms again
"Yes,sir! what kind of mission?" Naruto said saluting
"First, we'll do what we can do with just five people."
"what, what, what?!" Naruto repeatedly said very excitedly
"A survival exercise" Sensei said with...a smirk?
(Survival exercise, what's that?)
"Why are we doing exercise, even though this is supposed to be a mission?" Sakura asked him, we stare at him waiting for an answer
"This is no simple exercise." He said laughing
"Is he crazy or something..." I muttered looking at him, he looks at me hearing what I said
(Maybe I said it a little loud) I thought averting my eyes and looking at my teammates them having a bewildered expression
"Hey! What so funny, Sensei?" Sakura asked
(He's crazy that why..)
Suddenly Naruto looked at me
"shh..." He said shushing me
(did I say that out loud, damn, I'm becoming talkative, what's up with that?) I thought looking at my hands
"Well, if I tell you, I know you'll grow disenchanted." He said still laughing waving his hands
"Just get straight to the point, Sensei" I said annoyed
(Introduction taking too long...)
"Of the 28 graduates, only nine or ten will be recognized as genins. The remaining students will be sent back to the Academy. In other words, this exercise is an extremely difficult test with a failure of 66% or higher!" He said with a serious face making my teammate drop their jaw except for Sasuke who has a very serious look.
I can't help but chuckle at their reaction
"See, see. You got disenchanted!"
"That's crazy! To have suffered that much!" Naruto protest
"Well, that's the way it is. I'll be determining whether you pass or fail. Bring your complete set of ninja tools! We meet at five in the morning. Okay! You're dismissed, oh... and You best skip breakfast. You'll throw up" He said before disappearing
My teammate was too stunned to speak from all the information they heard
I can't help but laugh at their reaction, I cover my mouth and look at them and I already see them looking at me
"Akira, you shouldn't laugh at a time like this, what if we didn't pass..." Naruto said looking horrified
I look at their faces again and bite my lip to stop myself from laughing again but a smile forms on my lips
"Akira..." Sakura said this time
"okay, okay... I-I can't help it, sorry" I said waving my hand apologetically
Naruto and Sakura's eyes twitches while Sasuke has his usual expression but his hand are shaking slightly
I walk towards Sasuke, I crouch down leveling his eyes
"Why so serious?..." I ask him teasingly
He just looks the other way
"So rude..." I said with a playful pout
/The group started to leave together, unaware that their jonin-sensei was keeping an eye on them from afar/
**Extra** (not really part of the story)
I was eating at the Ichiraku ramen alone when another customer enters
"Ohh... Akira you're here!"
"This is an illusion..." I said sarcastically
"You did not cry did you" I tease
He ordered his ramen and sit at the table beside me
"Well... no, I didn't really miss you"
"I'm hurt, Iruka-sensei" I said jokingly
"Akira-chan, don't look so hurt." He said patting my back jokingly
"By the way, where's Naruto? It's unlikely for him to not be with you, especially here" He asked as his order arrive
"Busy training, I ask him if he wanted to eat but he said no, I actually can't believe
he refused and don't call me Akira-chan" I said to him eating my ramen again
"Well-" Iruka-sensei got interrupted when another customer sat at the empty chair beside me ordering his ramen
(Now, I'm in the center) I sweatdropped
"Ohh... Iruka-sensei"
I was about to stand up when
"oh, Akira you're leaving already, why don't you eat another bowl, my treat" Sensei said
"Kakashi-san..." Iruka-sensei greeted the silver-haired man
"Right, Akira, we still need to catch up, it would be better if Naruto and you are here. But since he's busy..." he said gesturing his hand for me to sit again. I just sigh and sit again
"what now?" Ignoring the other's presence
(It's awkward..)
"You're being rude, again Akira" Iruka said crossing his arms
"Iruka-sensei is right, you know it's rude to ignore your own sensei"
(Man, I just wanted to leave...)
"Ohh... I did not know Kakashi-san is your sensei" Iruka-sensei said looking surprised
"Well, now, you know." I said putting my chin on my hands
"You want another bowl? My treat..." Sensei asked me
"No, I'm full Hatake-san" I said
"Just call me sensei"
"You're still not officially my sensei so... Hatake-san is good for now" I just said
"Well, that's okay for me, Neko-chan." He said eye smiling
"I told you, I'm not a Neko." I said looking at him very seriously
"Well, different from what I saw earlier.." He explained crossing his arms
"That's a henge." I said also crossing my arms
"Then call me sensei."
"no."
" You should"
"still, no."
/Iruka there forgotten, just slurp the string of noodle and watch the two amusingly/
