Akira's POV
"Naruto, hurry up" I said leaning on the door
"wait..." Naruto said yawning
"We will be late, Naruto, if you don't hurry up"
"Hai..."He said yawning and starting to put on his jacket and dry his hair. Then he proceeds to walk where I am
"I'm ready now-dattebayo..." He said scratching his eyes
"Don't you want to at least eat an apple?"I said raising my eyebrow
"No, besides Kakashi-sensei said that we should not eat" he said proceeding to go out of the apartment looking more drunk than sleepy.
"I guess, that's it, we should hurry" I said locking the door and walking beside Naruto. (Gosh I'm also still sleepy...)
*At the Training Ground
We're all already here waiting for our Sensei while Naruto is sitting beside me sleeping on my shoulders
"Where the hell is he?" I said getting annoyed
Sakura just sits putting her head on her knees, While Naruto just snores on my side, and Sasuke remains standing
"Guys, aren't you hungry?" I said feeling hungry now, as I said that all their stomach growled
Naruto's head slide backward from my shoulder making him lie down on the ground, he didn't even budge from his sleep, his snores getting louder.
Sakura holds her stomach, also looking sleepy, and Sasuke still standing not really caring.
(Damn this...Why is he late?...) I sigh and stand up walking away from the team
"Akira, where are you going?" Sakura asks
"Just going to buy candy... you want?" I ask her
"No..." She said resting her head again on her knees
"Just say that to Sensei, when he arrive" I said starting to walk again. (I don't really care if he gets here first... He is late anyway)
"ok..." "nhn" I heard Sakura and Sasuke mutters, Naruto was just snoring
(So, he's listening, why won't he sit, he's been standing there for like one and a half hours now) I thought as I hear the village's noise the closer I get to the village's street.
Once I'm in front of the candy shop and I pick all the candies I want, mostly lollipops with different flavors, I took my wallet out of my pocket and pay for it. I took one of the lollipops and started to eat it
(Maybe, he's still not there) I look at my lollipop and spin it.
"I could just walk around the village or find him..." I said to myself
I stop and decides, Unfortunately, the decision was not to find him. A cheeky smile appears on my lips as I walk through the street of Konoha and just take in the view of the chattering people.
(What should I do now... I should really go back to the training grounds) But my feet keep dragging me everywhere except the training grounds.
"Hey, young lady, do you want to buy some flowers?" Suddenly the Vendor said getting my attention. I look at my back to confirm if she's really talking to me. Seeing no one, I look back at the vendor who has a kind smile on her lips.
(Why am I here? How did I get here?)
I try to give the vendor a smile. "You know this one is really beautiful," the vendor said showing me the flower.
I look at it for a few seconds, it actually beautiful but a flower with red and purple color got my attention.
"umhh... Can I see that?" I said looking at the flower.
"Ohh, this one, here... Oh this flower soothes you more, you're such a cute girl" The vendor said giving me the flower. I smiled at her and laugh awkwardly. I look at the flower I was holding and examine it.
(should I buy this? )
I sigh and took my money out of my pocket. "I'll take two, please" I said giving the vendor the money and she gave me another flower the same as the one I'm holding. She gave me a smile before I leave.
"Thank you" I said, starting to walk again
(I don't even know, what I should do with this) I thought, sweatdropping
"okay, so what?" I asked myself thinking of what I'm going to do with the flowers. A thought pops out of my messy mind. (It's actually a long time since I did that... this will be a good time since I already bought two.)
"oh, yeah, maybe there, It is good to at least give some gratitude to the Past Hokages," I said, starting to walk towards the memorial.
(Man, I should hurry up maybe Sensei is already there) I thought, walking faster.
Third Person's POV
A silver-haired man appears in front of the three students, startling them
"Yo, folks. Good morning!" The silver-haired man greeted his students, who is looking angry and annoyed at him.
"You're late!" Naruto and Sakura both shout, Sasuke just standing there looking at their Sensei. If they know that their Sensei will be this late they would not wake up so early.
"Well, a black cat crossed my path, you see" Kakashi explained waving his hand in an apologetic way. Naruto and Sakura grumbled, not buying his lie. Kakashi takes note of one teammate that is missing. He frowned, and look at the present students in front of him. Sakura seemingly noticed that Akira is still not with them.
"Ano... Akira said that she just needed to buy something" Sakura explains, making Kakashi nod, and put his hand in his pocket.
"mhm...okay, we should wait for her, if she is still not here for 5 minutes then I'm going to find her" Kakashi explained to his students. Sasuke and Sakura both nodded. But Naruto looked at Sakura confused.
"Where did Akira go?" Naruto whispered to Sakura confused.
"She said she's going to buy some candies" Sakura whispers, not wanting their Sensei to hear it.
"ohhh..." Naruto said his eye twitching. Sakura just shrugs and sits again. Well, it's not really Akira's fault, their Sensei is late anyway. What harm it would be to wait for at least 5-minutes?.
Akira's POV
"Yo, minna" I said eating my lollipop.
"You took so long..." Naruto said his eyebrow twitching.
"no, I'm not" I said walking towards the team.
(I'm just gone for 30 minutes, that's not long)
"You like?" I said to Sakura and Naruto. They both just look at me as if I'm stupid. (I'm just being nice, come on.)
"You want?" I ask offering a lollipop to Sasuke
"nhn" He said shaking his head no
"K." I said returning the same expression his giving me. I look at our Sensei, who is just leaning on the tree, observing us. Not caring if I made him wait, it's just 30-minutes it's not that long.
"Sensei, do you want?" I said also offering a lollipop in front of him. He just looks at me boredly.
"Ahem, Oh well..." He said walking towards the post and ignoring the candy I'm offering
(So rude...) I thought, putting back the candy in my pocket
"Okay, it's set for 12:00! Today's assignment is to take these bells away from me by noon" He said jiggling the bells.
"Those who can't do it won't get a lunch! They'll be tied up to that post and I eat my lunch before your very eyes." He explained, my teammates look horrendous, their stomachs growling.
(Well, lucky for me, I'm not really hungry, besides I'm eating a lollipop)
"Wait, why are there only three bells?" Sakura asks confused
"There are only three, so at the very least, one will have to go to the logs. That person will be disqualified for failing the mission and will return to the academy." He explained jiggling the bells again
"It might be one person at the very least or it could be all four of you. You can use shuriken. You won't be able to take the bells unless you come with the intent to kill me." He continues putting the bells on his hips
"But, that's dangerous, Sensei!" Sakura said worriedly
(Well he is a Jonin...)
"Yeah, that's right! You couldn't even evade a chalkboard eraser-dattebayo!" Naruto said agreeing with Sakura. I sweatdropped at them.
"In this world, those who aren't skilled enough tend to complain more. Well, just ignore the loser... Begin when I give the 'ready-go' signal."
Naruto looked annoyed when he heard Sensei say loser. I wasn't fast enough to grab him when he pulled out a kunai and ran to attack Sensei.
Sensei effortlessly avoids it by quickly approaching Naruto from behind holding Naruto's head and pointing the kunai Naruto is holding at his head.
(So, this is Hatake Kakashi, ha)
"Don't be hasty. I didn't say start yet." He said very seriously, my teammates backed away from them.
Seeing their position, I took out a kunai ready to help Naruto. Sensei noticed the action and released Naruto from his grip.
"But, that's fine. At least you came with the intent to kill me." He said looking at the kunai I was still holding.
"How can I put this? I feel like I'm starting... to like you guys." He said chuckling averting his eyes to look at my other teammates.
"We're going to start... Ready start!"
We all jump and start to hide masking our presence.
"Naruto..." I whispered expecting him to be by my side.
"Alright! Let's face off fair and square!" I heard his voice. I looked towards where I heard his voice.
(I could die right now...) I thought, my eyebrow twitching.
"Baka..." I mutter looking at them
"Say, aren't you a bit off-kilter?"
"What's off-kilter is your hairstyle," Naruto said
I let out a chuckle at his comment on Sensei's hairstyle
(Scarecrow...)
Naruto then proceeded to attack Sensei but quickly stop when Sensei pull out something from his pouch.
"I knew it..." I muttered looking at the book.
"What's the matter? Why don't you come at me?" Sensei asks
"But hey... what's with the book?"
"Why do you ask? It's because I was curious about what happens next. Don't worry, with you guys as opponents, It makes no difference if I'm reading or not." He said reading his book, making Naruto angry.
"I'm going to rip you apart!" Naruto rushed forward, ready to attack Sensei. Sensei easily avoided it, but Naruto didn't give up and tried to kick him in the face, which Sensei avoided by crouching.
"Man!" said Naruto, eager to throw a punch. Sensei vanished and reappeared crouching behind Naruto.
(is that the sign of the tiger?) I thought getting tense.
"Naruto, get out of there quickly! You're gonna die!" Sakura shouts warning Naruto
(Like I let that happen.) "This Jonin.." I mutter ready to attack.
"Leaf Village Secret! Ultimate Taijutsu!" Sensei said pressing his index and middle fingers into Naruto's butt making me stop on track
(They are really idiots, unbelievable...) My eyebrow twitching
"One Thousand Years of Death!" Sensei shouts, making Naruto fly to the water. Then he stand up opened his book and continues reading.
"Damn it.." I mutter jumping down my hiding spot, Sensei becomes alert but I ignore him going to the river. His eyes followed my every movement befuddled.
"Oi! NARUTO! Are you okay?!" I shout looking under the water
(His ass might be hurting...) I thought, I bite my lip to keep myself from laughing.
Suddenly a shuriken flies out of the water to Sensei's direction where he easily caught it, not even batting an eye. Naruto came out of the water in front of me, coughing
"oi..." I said getting his attention. He just looked at me and stand up ready to fight Sensei again
(Geez...)
"You won't get lunch if you can't take the bell by noon." I jump at Sensei's voice.
(ehh... I forgot about him)
"I know that, I say-dattebayo." He says stomach growling
"You know, I have a lollipop here..." I said giving him a lollipop. Naruto was about to take it when Sensei appear beside me getting the lollipop
"That's mi-" I said as I try to grab it.
"Well, I'm the rule and I say you can't eat until you can get the bell." Sensei said cutting me, the bells in his waist jiggling
(Well, I still have here...?)
"ehh?" I said confused searching my pocket but there was no candy in it
"Is this what you're looking for?" He asks, his hand full of my candies
"Give it back." I commanded my eyebrow raised, crossed arms
"Before that... get the bells" He said not even batting an eye from what he's reading.
"Darn it! darn it!" Naruto said his stomach growling again. Suddenly my stomach also growls, a blush appearing on my face.
(I'm not even hungry... really , it's just that my digestive system is breaking down the apple I ate earlier) I thought my eye and eyebrow twitching
"See, see, you're both hungry" Sensei said walking away.
"We need to take the bells... no matter what. I'm going to be a ninja!" I heard Naruto mutters beside me. Suddenly a bunch of Naruto came out of the river attacking Sensei. Sensei look shocked at first.
"Judging by your ability, that Jutsu should have a one-minute limit" Sensei concluded, looking at the clones. Naruto then starts to attack, Sensei just stands there still explaining but suddenly stops when a clone holds him from the back, all Naruto clones jump at him keeping him from moving. I just let Naruto do his own thing and watches them.
(I don't really know what to do here... We needed a plan if we want to really get the bells)
When Naruto was about to land a punch on Sensei instead his shadow clone is the one to receive the punch.
"You're Kakashi-sensie right?!" Naruto accuse his own clone, then they started to attack each other
"Baka..." I mutter, walking towards him
"Naruto... you're really an idiot" I said with a poker face
"huh?" Naruto and his clones stop attacking each other looking at me.
"Just undo the Jutsu, Naruto..." I said face-palming myself
"ohh... baka why didn't you realize that" his clone said to him, he undo the Jutsu revealing a very beat-up Naruto. Something caught our eyes then Naruto didn't even think and tried to grab it. Then Naruto suddenly hung upside down with a rope tied to both of his feet.
"Naruto be careful this time..." I said looking for another trap before walking up to him to cut the rope and take the bell but Sensei suddenly appeared in front of me taking the bell. My body tensed then I ready a kunai.
"You have to think when using Jutsu. They can be used against you... Also, don't get caught in an obvious trap, you fool. A ninja must see through deception!" Sensei lecture us
"I know that, I say-dattebayo!" Naruto said wiggling
"You know, I'm telling you because you don't get it" As soon as Sensei said that a bunch of shurikens and kunai fly out in his direction hitting him and making him fly in my direction
"ehhh?..." I said blinking a few times but once my shocked state disappear I look over beside me where Sensei landed but instead of seeing him a log with the shurikens and Kunai is there
(Substitution Jutsu again...)
"Kuso! It would be better if he got hit by that..." I said with a frown looking disappointed walking toward where Naruto is then I just sat and sulk.
"He should have been hit by that..." I said pulling the grass underneath me
"Akira, don't get depressed all of a sudden, we will get the bell" Naruto said wiggling. I just look at him and continue to sulk
"Waaaa! Akira! help meee!" He shouts
"Hai, hai" I said standing up and pulling out a kunai again cutting the rope making Naruto fall headfirst to the ground.
"So where are they now?... Sasuke, Sakura..." After I said that I heard Sakura shouts
My head snaps to the direction where Sakura's shout can be heard making my heart bit fast.
"Kosu...Naruto just stay here," I said looking over in his direction but then I saw him again being tied up upside-down, my eyebrow twitching at his idiocy.
"Man, that troublesome jonin..." I said running where I heard Sakura's shout, leaving Naruto struggling trying to cut the rope. I jump faster from tree to tree trying to find Sakura.
"Where are you Sakura..." I mutter worriedly.
After a minute of jumping from tree to tree, I came to a sudden stop seeing Sakura laying on the ground with a tear on her cheeks. I jump down the tree and walk towards her.
"What the hell did that jonin do?..." I mutter crouching wiping the tear on her cheeks.
"A genjutsu?" I mutter sensing her chakra.
(Okay, let me try this...) I thought shaking her but she did not even budge.
"Ahhh, moo, okay, relax..." I said concentrating.
(kuso, this will be my first time to release someone by a genjutsu...)
"Kai!" I said tapping her forehead, she suddenly got up looking terrified.
"Yokatta..." I said relieved that it work
"ha?Sasuke-kun?" She said looking everywhere.
"That's a Genjutsu"
"ha?... Ahh..." she said with realization
"Thank you, Akira." She said standing up and running to the opposite direction calling Sasuke's name.
"Yare, yare" I said my eyebrow twitching. (How are we supposed to make a plan...)
"Okay, now, where the troublesome jonin?"
