Akira's POV
Zabuza smirks as he sees Sensei be cut in half but his expression changes seeing that it was only a water clone. His eyes widen realizing that Sensei perfectly copy his technique.
Sensei appeared behind him holding the kunai to Zabuza's neck.
"Don't move!" Sensei warned
"It's over." Sensei said with a dark look.
"W-wow!" Naruto shouts full of excitement. My eyebrow twitches at his sudden change of mood.
(No, this still isn't finished...) I thought seeing Zabuza's smirk under his mask. I got alert when he chuckles darkly making Sensei confused
"Did you say it's over? You don't understand, do you? You won't be able to beat me just by making like a monkey...No chance, Besides I still want to know more..." He said chuckling looking at me.
(What does he want from me?) I thought, confusion written on my face
Sensei furrowed his eyebrows also confused, I turn to look at my teammates seeing them also confused.
"But I must say you're good. My Water clone Jutsu was being copied at that point... By letting the clone talk as if it were you, you succeeded in distracting me. And you used Hidden Mist Jutsu to hide yourself to see what I was doing..." He said looking at Sensei over his shoulder
"But..." Another Zabuza appears behind Sensei getting him shocked.
"I'm not a fool" The clone in front of him popped. Then the real Zabuza swings his sword but Sensei manages to dodge it
(Kuso... What to do Akira...) I thought getting frustrated
(Tch...I can't do anything right now...) I thought, just watching them fight
Sensei suddenly get kicked as Zabuza see it as an opportunity to kill him. I look where Sensei got kicked but Makibishi spikes are only there.
(Where is he?) I thought looking around
"How foolish!" Zabuza said jumping into the water
"Sensei!" Naruto shouts beside me as he tried to move forward.
"Naruto! Matte!" I said holding him on his sleeves
"But, Akira!" Naruto said wanting to help Sensei.
"Naruto just wait, we need a plan if we really want to be useful" I said looking at Tazuna-san, who looks frightened
(Damn it... Why my mind isn't working at a time like this...) I thought clenching my kunai tighter
"His Taijutsu skills are also extremely good." Sasuke said
Something in the water move, getting our attention
"Sensei..." I mutter seeing him on the water. I got shocked seeing Zabuza appear behind him doing hand seals.
"Humph... Fool!" He said, I throw a kunai at him but he just dodge it with ease completing his Jutsu
"It's a Water Prison Jutsu!" He said once he finished the hand signs. Sensei looked at him with shock
" ...and to put it simply attack like that won't hit me" He looked at the kunai that is pinned on a tree and turn to look at me with amusement.
He turns to look at Sensei and chuckles.
"It's a special prison that makes it impossible for you to escape! It makes things harder having you able to act" He explained, his other hand is holding the Jutsu.
"Now, Kakashi. I'll have to settle things with you later. First, I'll finish those guys off" He said turning his head to look at us.
"Water Clone Jutsu..." He said a clone appeared in front of him. The clone looks at us while chuckling
"Look at you all scared...You're acting big, wearing a headband like a Ninja" The clone said moving forward making us back away.
"But... a real ninja is one who has hovered between life and death numerous times. In other words, only those who are worth being listed in my Bingo Book deserve to be called Ninja. Guys like you can't be called real Ninja." He said making a hand sign again.
"Kuso..." I mutter looking around as the mist gets thicker again. I ready a kunai and look at Naruto who is slightly shaking. Zabuza suddenly appears in front of us, kicking both of us making us fly a few meters.
"You're just a kid!" He said as I hold onto my stomach and try to stand up, Naruto doing the same
"Naruto! Akira!" Sakura shouts, looking in our direction.
" You four! Take Tazuna and run! You have no chance against this guy! As long as he has me trapped in this Water Prison, He won't be able to move from here. And he shouldn't be able to use the Water Clone Jutsu if he is far enough away from his real body. In any case, just run! for now!" Sensei shouts looking at us.
(What does he mean by run... I'm not going to run!)
(Seems like I'm not the only one...) I thought looking at my teammates
(Ahh, mo... Akira why can't you think straight) I thought as I clench my stomach.
(We will be no match at him... I'm no match at him... But maybe I could distract him, and give them just a little time to leave-no that isn't part of the choice anymore... the only option left is to think of a plan) I sigh and force myself to stand up, getting Zabuza's attention
"Ohh... Is someone brave enough..." Zabuza said smirking. I can feel Sasuke's eyes looking at me so I turn to look at him
(Seems like we have the same thing in mind) I thought, as he nodded at me and looked back again to Zabuza with determination. I take a glance at Sensei seeing him waiting for us to leave but I think he got the signal, that we're not going to leave him.
"B-Baka, stop it!" Sensei shouts
"We'll just have to do it!" Sasuke said as he first attack Zabuza. He throws shurikens at him but Zabuza dodges it with ease, then Sasuke jumps holding a kunai in hand in an attempt to stab Zabuza
"There!" Sasuke shouts
"Too easy." Zabuza said not even threatened. As he grabs Sasuke by the neck to stop him.
(Kuso, I just needed the right timing...) I thought thinking of what to do
Zabuza throws him to the side.
"Sasuke-kun" Sakura shouts
"Don't tell me you're just gonna stand there..." Zabuza said as he appear behind me.
(When did he...) I just stand frozen in my spot by the shocked
"Ohh... you're hand is still shaking" He said chuckling
(What the hell is wrong with me) I quickly turned around attempting to at least scratch him with a kunai but he dodges it with ease then he attempt to also grab me by the neck but I quickly jump away from him.
(Damn it, gather yourself Akira!)
"Too slow" He said as he appear right in front of me as he swings his sword
I barely avoid his attack as I leap into the air and prepare a kunai.
He prepared to dodge the kunai I was about to throw but was surprised when, instead of throwing the kunai to the clone, I threw the kunai to the original, shocking the original. I targeted his neck, infusing it with a small amount of wind chakra nature, causing it to fly faster than usual in his direction, but he still manages to dodge it. I land on my feet, far from Zabuza's clone but close to where Sasuke was thrown.
"I told you before an attack like that wouldn't work on me..." He mocked but was shocked when blood poured from his neck.
"You..." He said, touching his neck with his other hand.
(That's not enough, damn it, I still don't know how to control my chakra perfectly) I thought to myself as I looked at Sasuke. Someone suddenly kicks me in the back, causing me to fall. I attempted to stand up, but something heavy was on my back.
I look over my shoulder seeing Zabuza's clone stepping on my back. Sasuke quickly stand up and tried to attack him again but Zabuza just grabbed him by the neck and lift him.
"Maybe, I should just break your neck" He said tightening his hold on Sasuke's neck, as Sasuke tried to remove his hand from his neck.
I tried to move but he stepped on me with more force
"Who do you think I should kill first, Kakashi...?" Zabuza's clone said looking at Sensei with a smirk.
"Yamero, Zabuza !" Sensei shouts looking very furious, we can even feel his killing intent.
"Humph... Seems like I'm the one will win this, Copy Ninja Kakashi" Zabuza said mockingly. I turn my head to look at Naruto who is looking at us, while his body shakes, face looking horrified.
(Naruto...) I thought clenching my fist
"Brat, you're not even qualified as a real ninja if you just sit there and shake like a cat..." Zabuza said looking at Naruto.
"Naruto..." I mouthed his name as I try to push myself up. He just stare at me and tried to stand up looking at his wound.
"Ahhh!" Sasuke and I shout making Naruto look back again at us
"Akira! Sasuke-kun!" Sakura shouts
(Kuso... I- I need to use a Jutsu...) I thought but realizes that I can't move my hand to weave signs
"Brat! You don't have the right to wear a Hitai-ate!" Zabuza exclaimed as he held Naruto's Hitai-ate. Naruto stood up quickly and looked at us with determination in his eyes. I gave him a gentle smile, nodding.
He took a step forward, running towards us.
"Y-you fool! stop it!" yells Sensei, but Naruto pays no attention to him as he continues to attack. A kunai suddenly flew in Zabuza's clone direction, distracting him, loosening his grip on Sasuke, and exerting force on my back.
(Sakura...) I thought, looking at her and smiling seeing the determination in her eyes
Sasuke attempted to swing himself around to kick Zabuza in the head, causing him to lose his balance and completely remove his feet on my back. Naruto attempted to punch him, but he deflected it. I quickly pulled out a kunai and attempted to stab the hand that was still holding Sasuke, causing him to completely lose his grip on Sasuke as he avoid the kunai. Naruto tried to kick and punch him again but he manage to dodge it still trying to balance himself by the combined attacks earlier. Once Zabuza recovered, he kick the three of us away from him, making us fly towards Sakura's direction. Sakura quickly walked toward us with worry written on her face.
"It's fine, Sakura," Sasuke said with a little smile. She looks at Naruto and me, and both of us give her a smile, as a reassurance.
"Thank you, Sakura..." I said to her
"But-"
"If you didn't throw a kunai earlier Zabuza will not be distracted, and we will not be able to escape there..." I said with a smile. Sasuke, nodded in agreement making Sakura smile. I look at Naruto's hand seeing him holding his hitai-ate.
"Record in your Bingo Book...about the man who will one day become the Leaf Village's Hokage." He said wearing his hitai-ate.
"Leaf-style Ninja...Uzumaki Naruto!" Naruto announced looking more determined than earlier.
"You brat! I didn't expect you to combine your attacks, maybe you're a worthy opponent after all. This time you will all die!" He said a tick mark appeared on his forehead. I can't help but smirk at Zabuza's reaction. I turn to look at Sensei who looked shocked, and I smile a little at him
(Have faith in us... Sensei)
"Team 7, is going to defeat you-dattebayo!" Naruto shouts making us smile
"Sasuke! Lend me your ear! I have a plan" He said with a really big smile.
"Humph! You're talking about teamwork?" Sasuke said with a smirk
"Akira, just stay put there, you have done enough-dattebayo!" He said looking at me, with affection
"Hai! Hai!" I said saluting at him jokingly.
"Sakura, just protect Tazuna-san" Sasuke said giving a small smile at Sakura. I can't help but chuckles a little at the interaction of the team.
"Do you really think this is a joke, huh!" Zabuza said looking at us very furious.
"You'll see team 7 teamwork..." I said to him with a smirk, all of us smiling as if we are mocking him.
"What are you guys doing! I told you to run! It was obvious what was going to happen once I was caught! Hurry! Run! Listen to me! Our mission is to protect Tazuna-san! Have you forgotten that?!" Sensei shouted getting our attention
(Sensei... I was starting to like you but you're such a killjoy) I deadpan
"Tazuna-san..." I said looking at him, the team turned to look at him.
"Well... This is a seed that I planted... I can't say that I want my life to be spared. Sorry, you guys...Fight as much as you want!" He said making all of us smile
"You hear that?" Sasuke said with a smirk
"Are you ready?" Naruto said looking at Zabuza's clone.
"You guys really haven't learned anything, have you? You're still playing at being a Ninja? When I was your age, this hand was already stained with blood!" Zabuza said making Sakura and Naruto shocked
"Zabuza, the demon!" Sensei said looking at the real Zabuza
"ohh? Seems like you've heard of me." The real Zabuza said
"A long time ago, in the Mist Village, often called the town of Blood Mist, Ninja candidates faced their biggest hurdle." Sensei continued
"Ohh? So you also know about the graduation exam." Zabuza said laughing
"What about it?!" Naruto asked frustrated
(So it's true, I didn't really believe it up until now...students killing each other... I didn't even know how did I know about the blood mist graduation exam...) I thought, thinking that the knowledge was only from my dream or imagination
(I'm losing a lot of memories am I?...and I'm not even that old, I'm basically still a child) I thought remembering the times I always have things I know but don't know how I know them.
An intense bloodthirst brings me out of my thoughts.
"That's sure was... fun..." Zabuza said, looking at us with a smirk and intense bloodthirst, making my heart pound faster.
The clone launched an unexpected attack, elbowing Sasuke in the stomach, causing him to fly a few meters.
"Sasuke!" "Sasuke-kun!" Sakura and I exclaim as my heartbeat quickens. Zabuza then elbowed Sasuke, who was still laying on the ground, causing him to spit blood.
"Sasuke..." I whispered not knowing what to do, horrified at the scene.
He then kicks Sasuke again, this time hitting a tree.
"You see... I really miss the blood in my hands..." Zabuza said with a lot of killing intent. He suddenly appear in front of us kicking Naruto and me as Sakura positioned herself in front of Tazuna-san to protect him. I thought he was done with me but he grabbed me by the neck and lift me, making it difficult to breathe.
"I can confirm it now... You may have the same features... Well, it makes me sad that I'm not the one who kill her" He said, tightening his hold on my neck. I try to remove his hand but it didn't work
"Kakashi... Seems like I have one down..." He said, tightening his hold on my neck as if trying to break it. I try to kick him but I cannot reach him.
(It's no use... Kuso) I thought. He throws me by a tree with a lot of force making my back hit the tree hard. I arched my back from the impact and spit blood.
"Akira!" Naruto and Sakura shout. Zabuza was about to attack again.
"Die!" Zabuza said as he swing his sword.
"Darn!" Naruto shouts making a hand seal
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" He shouts, clones surrounding Zabuza
"Ah... Shadow Clone Jutsu and there are quite a few of them." Zabuza said looking at the clones
"Here I go!" All of them said holding a kunai
Naruto and his clone proceed to attack, as Sasuke helps me stand up. I look at him and he just nods, wiping the blood on his mouth, his knees are still shaking as we walked towards Tazuna-san.
Naruto and his clones covered Zabuza to restrain him, but Zabuza use his sword to make the clones remove their hold away from him.
"It's impossible, after all... There is no way that you can defeat the guy!" Tazuna-san said from behind us. Sakura and I positioned in front of Tazuna-san to protect him.
"Sasuke!" Naruto shouts throwing a Demon Wind Shuriken
(So... that's your plan, huh... took so long...) I thought, sensing the familiar Chakra
"Demon Wind Shuriken, Windmill of Shadow..." Sasuke said holding it while looking at Zabuza
"A shuriken won't work on me." Zabuza said not even threatened
Sasuke jumps throwing the Shuriken, the clone waits for the shuriken but got shocked that the shuriken changes its direction aiming for the original.
"I see... so it's aiming at the real body...But...It's not so easy!" Zabuza said catching the Shuriken on his left hand. But a second shuriken appear popping the water clone as it flew in Zabuza's direction.
"A shuriken in Shuriken's Shadow!" Zabuza said shocked
"But...Still too naive..." Zabuza said jumping to avoid the shuriken. I can't help but smirk, Naruto and Sasuke also have a smirk on their faces. The shuriken then pops revealing Naruto, that shock Tazuna-san, Zabuza, Sensei, and Sakura.
"Here is it!" He shouts, throwing the kunai his holding, aiming at Zabuza's face.
(It is, indeed, a great plan...) I thought with a smile.
