Ansem's Point of View
I was in my study working late when I heard a knock on my door. "Come in!" I shouted and Even entered.
"Master Ansem, please tell me that Jessica is not the same person who I believe her to be, " Even accused.
"I'm afraid I cannot tell you with honesty that she isn't," I replied. I was startled when Even punched the wall because he rarely showed signs of aggression.
"She can't stay here! It's not safe! What if someone finds out?! We all could be killed!" He shouted.
"Even, no one will find out. This is just until the war in Sunset Kingdom stops. You should try to make the best of this opportunity. There's no telling how long she's going to be here. If you don't spend time with her while she's here, you'll regret it when she's not," I advised.
"This is an outrage! There are millions of other worlds out there with other people who are capable of taking care of her!" Even snapped.
"But only you can care for her the way you can," I stated calmly.
Even waited for a few moments to respond, likely in an effort to mentally grasp our situation. "What do we tell her?"
"Nothing. We say nothing," I answered.
Alright, readers. That was the chapter. Is anyone feeling completely confused? Good. That means I did something right. What is it that Even and Ansem know? I would like to thank FanFictionWriter123 and Taeniaea for your awesome reviews.
