Third Person's POV
Akira sit's up and help Sasuke. They all stare at the newcomer, a yellow-haired boy; the number one hyperactive knucklehead Ninja, Uzumaki Naruto.
"Now that I've come here, you're all right!" He said with so much confidence as if he can really save all of them.
"Naruto!" Sakura said excitedly.
"The hero of a story generally appears in this kind of situation and takes out the enemy in no time!" Naruto said pointing at Haku. Akira stares at him, brow twitching. Her sanity was on the verge of slipping away. Who's ninja would make an appearance like that...of course, it's Naruto...
"heh... That brat, eh..." Zabuza said looking at him, smirking
Sasuke and Kakashi stare at Naruto dumbfounded. Sasuke is asking himself, how can he have a teammate like Naruto. While Kakashi is wondering, why Naruto didn't know such an entrance shouldn't be made at a time like this. Just like he stated he is the number one knucklehead ninja.
"All right, here I go! Kagebushin no Jutsu..." Naruto said forming a hand sign
"Eh?!" All of them said by Naruto's straightforward attack. Zabuza quickly throws shurikens in Naruto's direction, startling him. But Haku throws four senbons stopping the shurikens.
They all looked shocked at the Masked Ninja.
"To think the enemy attacks would cancel each other out...That was super lucky" Tazuna-san said sighing, relief.
Akira looked at the Masked ninja and examine him. That's wrong, he really intended to cancel Zabuza's attack. Why would he do that?...
"Hey! What're you doing, Naruto?!" Sakura said annoyed.
"Hey! what kind of an idiot would attempt to cast a Jutsu directly in front of an opponent?! The essence of a Ninja is deception. How you deceive your opponent. Even casting Jutsu, you avoid the eye of your opponent, catch them off balance and outsmart them... the way you made your entrance earlier, that's just you coming to be a target..." Kakashi lectures, making Naruto shocked.
"But I went to the trouble of coming to the rescue" Naruto said looking defeated.
Akira takes it as a chance to think of a plan. At the very least, Naruto's timing is accurate. This is a chance for them to attack outside and inside these mirrors.
"Zabuza-san leave this kid to me...Please let me fight this battle my way" Haku said. Naruto looked at him confused.
"So you mean no interfering... Haku? You're naive...as usual..." Zabuza said smirking
"I'm sorry..." Haku said making them all confused.
Sasuke tried to stand as he observe the Masked ninja. He averts his eyes and observes all of his wounds and Akira's wounds. True enough, judging from their wounds, there's no mistaking that they were attacked with a senbon. But no vital areas have been targeted so far.
"If so! As for me, I'll take you out first, so!" Naruto said all of his confidence back, pointing at Haku.
Kakashi looked at Naruto and glance inside the mirrors. He looked frustrated observing them. It's impossible. It's too much for Naruto! He should be the one to... looking back at Naruto. When he attempts to move Zabuza steps forward again.
"Hey. Don't get any ideas...If you move, you know what will happen to that old man, right?" Zabuza warned, making Kakashi stop immediately. Kakashi observes and tries to think of a plan. It will be useless if he made shadow clones because Zabuza will just counter it with a water clone, and he will just waste his chakra. He needed to stay there, Sakura can't defend Tazuna-san by herself, they will be in great danger if he goes to help Akira and Sasuke. He looked back at the mirrors, and clench his fist. There's nothing he can do right now. He just needed to trust them and defeat the enemy on their own...
Akira look around trying to at least relieve the pain from her wounds. She looked shocked seeing their Sensei's worried eyes looking at them.
"tch..." She mutters, she gave their Sensei a smile to reassure him. He needed to trust them, besides she can do something unexpected, isn't she...
Kakashi looked at Akira, smiling at him reassuringly. He sighed and back off a little from Zabuza. He needed to trust them, They're his student after all...
"So you have decided, huh. Let's just see how those young guys fight against each other." Zabuza said, standing a few feet away from him.
"That mask...You were Zabuza's comrade, after all, weren't you! You've got the nerve to deceive us!" Naruto shouts, looking at the Masked ninja.
"I'm sorry." The masked ninja said sincerity in his voice, confusing Naruto.
"But, your teacher also said it, didn't he? Things like deceiving and catching one off guard are a Shinobi's duty. Please don't take it personally. " The masked Ninja explains.
Akira looked at Sasuke when he pulled out a kunai and throws it at the masked Ninja but he easily avoids it. Akira and Sasuke's brows furrowed. The only thing they can do now is to attack from both sides.
The masked Ninja looked at them " I haven't forgotten the both of you."
"Sasuke?... Akira?! What are you doing there-dattebayo?!" Naruto asked looking inside the mirror, completely shocked. Something in his stomach feels weird seeing Akira like that.
"I'm relaxing Naruto, what do you think?" Akira said sarcastically, almost like she just lost a brain cell. Their attention averts to the masked ninja again when he started to walk towards the mirror.
"Naruto-kun, I deal with you later" The masked ninja said before completely entering the mirror again. Sasuke and Akira both ready a kunai, as they wait for the attack again. She covers herself when she feels senbon cutting her skin again. She tried to use the kunai in her hand but a senbon pierced her hand, making her drop the kunai. The assault stops and they fall to their knees again.
"Sasuke! Akira!" Naruto and Sakura's shouts can be heard. Naruto looked at the fight horrified. What kind of Jutsu is their enemy using? Naruto observe Sasuke and Akira as they got battered in just a second.
Akira tried to stand, removing the senbon from her hand. But her knees shake making her fall again to the ground. Damn it, she can't do anything. This Jutsu, what is it... She looked at all the mirrors. Something in her mind lights up. That cold wind earlier... those preemptive moves his talking about...the scattered water...
Akira looked at the masked ninja with furrowed eyebrows. Could it be... Kekkei Genkai?!. She gets it now, that's why this mirror is so hard to break even if she puts a lot of chakra in her Kunai earlier... This is the first time she heard about a Kekkei Genkai like this, how will they defeat this?
"We needed Naruto..." Sasuke whispered getting Akira out of her thoughts. Akira nodded as they both looked around for Naruto, to at least give him a signal, that he would hopefully get. They all looked confused not being able to spot Naruto everywhere. They needed to do what they did earlier. She got too focused on attacking the mirror and concentrating her chakra on her kunai that she didn't sense the enemy. This time they needed to do it, for sure, even if they are playing with luck.
(Where's that brat?) Akira thought, frowning.
"Yo! I came to save the both of you" Someone said behind them making them both jump. All of their eyebrows twitch seeing Naruto inside with them.
"Naruto, you..." Akira said, defeated. Sasuke looked at him with dismay. Their plan just goes south just like that.
"You two okay, Sasuke? Akira?" He said smiling.
"Ahh, mo. I can't think properly..." Akira said facepalming herself. Her brain cells losing by the second's passing. Kakashi and Sakura looked at the scene, dumbfounded. It isn't in Naruto's vocabulary to catch the enemy off guard...
"Y-you usuratonkachi! If you're a shinobi, you'll move more cautiously" Sasuke lectures Naruto.
"What's with the two of you?! Aren't you glad I'm here-dattebayo!" Naruto argued.
"Damn, that's enough we don't have time for that..." Akira said shoving Naruto away.
"Kuso! We've had it, baka!" Sasuke said looking to the side frustrated. Naruto looked offended, so offended that he is ready to argue again.
"Ahh, mo" Akira said covering Naruto's mouth. Naruto still protesting.
"Now that it comes to this, we can't do anything but to melt this mirrors" Sasuke said, standing up and dragging Akira with him.
"Ha? Why?" Akira said, confused.
"I know you knew it, they must have at least taught you" Sasuke said, encouraging Akira. They all look at the two, What are they going to do?
"Ah... o-okay" Akira said, as Sasuke turn his back on her. Back facing each other, they both formed hand signs.
"io! What are you two doing?" Naruto asked startled.
"If this mirror, is made of ice then..." Sasuke said and they inhaled.
"Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu!" They both said, and released fire from their mouth, making the inside of the mirrors be covered with fire.
Kakashi looked shocked, especially at Akira. He didn't know Akira can do that and have chakra like that. He examines the mirror that had been hit by the fire, adding to his shock is the slight crack on the mirror. Akira just what else you can do?
The masked ninja looked shocked but remain his composure. If they do it over and over again they will just deplete their chakra, but he will also deplete his chakra holding the ice mirrors.
"Tch..." Akira said seeing that nothing happen from it.
"It's not working at all!" Naruto said standing up. Akira turns to look at Sasuke
"We can't do this over and over again, Sasuke" Akira said, frustrated. Sasuke looked at the fire that is slowly disappearing. He groaned, it's that they can't just do that again. The best plan is to have someone attack outside the mirrors
"They won't melt with that level of firepower" The masked ninja said making Sasuke more frustrated. The masked ninja ready a senbons again and began his attack.
"Ahhh!" They all shouted as the senbons pierced through their skin. Naruto stands up and observes all the mirrors.
"It's useless for you to even attempt following with your eyes. I absolutely will not be caught." The masked Ninja said.
"Kagebushin no Jutsu!" Naruto said forming hand sign.
"Don't!" Sasuke said but Naruto already proceeded to attack.
"I will find the real body by hitting them all-dattebayo!" Naruto said as the clones attacked. The clone pops in a matter of second, and Akira catches Naruto before he falls to the ground.
"Kuso" Naruto said standing up, shaking slightly.
"This is a teleportation Jutsu that uses mirrors than can reflect only my image. Watching you, it almost seems as if you aren't moving at all..." The masked ninja explained.
Akira looked at him frustrated. What could they possibly do? There's no way they can break this Jutsu, she almost depletes her chakra in her first attack. Lightning nature can easily deplete her chakra and putting too much concentration in controlling it, makes it impossible to do that again. Every Jutsu has a weakness, but what if this Jutsu's weakness is not from them. Akira groaned as she tries to think of positive things. She looked at Naruto as he tries to stand up
"Darn it. So... what?! I can't die here yet. Cause I have a dream that I must turn into reality. The dream to have my strength recognized by everyone in the village...and become the Hokage-dattebayo!" Naruto shouts
"For me, becoming a shinobi is completely difficult. If I can, I don't want to kill you guys... and I don't want to get by you guys...But if you guys are going to come at me, I'll kill my feelings with a sword and completely become a shinobi. This bridge is the battleground that connects each of us to our dreams. I, for the sake of my dream. And you for the sake of your dreams. Please don't hold it against me... I want to protect the person dear to me... and I want to make that person's dream a reality. That's my dream. For the sake of that dream. I will become a Shinobi and kill you guys" The masked ninja explained the emotions clear in his voice. Akira, Naruto, and Sasuke smile, ready to fight.
Akira's POV
(We needed to finish this) I thought readying myself
(Damn, don't tell me I'm having a headache at a time like this) I thought trying to balance myself. I tried to relax and look at the enemy again.
I look at where Kakashi-sensei and see him holding on to his Hitai-ate
(So they will start huh...)
Naruto made a hand sign as clones appears again
"Stop it!" Sasuke yelled. I looked at Sasuke and gave him a smile.
"Sasuke let him. We could be killed at any moment, we don't even have time to think of a plan, right now." I said making him look at the enemy.
The clones pop again as Naruto falls to the ground.
"Well make a distraction, I know you will be able to see it" I said making him shock
"What the hell is it?!" Naruto said frustrated.
"Naruto, I'll help you. Sasuke just try to catch him, you know I really have a lot of faith in Uchihas" I said jokingly. They both looked at me. Sasuke smirked and Naruto gave me a determined smile.
(Luck, be on our side...)
"Yoshi, let's do it-dattebayo" Naruto mutters making a hand sign. I also make a hand sign, noticing the mist get's thicker. I look at where is Sensei standing but the thick mist is all I could see.
(What's happening there... No, I need to focus on this)
"Kagebushin no Jutsu!" We both said making clones. Our clones try to attack the mirrors. My other clones tried to shield Sasuke to make him more capable of focusing on the enemy.
Sasuke kicks the water, making me smile (He'll be able to see it soon)
When our clones pop we made clones again and do the same thing. When we fall to the ground, I look over Sasuke and see him with a more determined look. Sasuke nodded his head he formed a hand sign as we also formed a hand sign making clones. We attacked again but this time Sasuke make a fire jutsu but it didn't hit anything.
(No, there was a trail)
All of the clones pop again. We quickly stood up breathing heavily.
"Sasuke?" I ask
"Akira, Naruto can you both still move?" Sasuke said looking at us
"Of course we are-dattebayo!" Naruto said with determination.
(This is weird... my chakra should be almost depleted by now, what is this...) I thought looking at my hand that is shaking slightly.
"Akira! Naruto! Run out from here, you both will attack outside" Sasuke yelled. We complied immediately and run in opposite sides
"You guys won't be able to!" The masked ninja said as we both land on the ground.
"Tch..." I stand again and follow Naruto's action.
(This is the only thing we could do)
A fire style flew in the enemy's direction. A form appeared in front of me and kick me on the stomach making me fly towards Sasuke. I clench my stomach and tried to stand up
"We're doing it one more time!" Sasuke said removing the senbon on his shoulder
(Why he isn't targeting our vital spots) I thought confused. (That's actually good...)
"All right!" Naruto and I said, but senbon has been thrown in our direction making us fall to the ground again. We quickly stand up hearing Sakura's shout.
"Kuso, what happened?" I said removing the senbon again.
(Don't tell me something bad happened to them... Akira calmed down... We really needed to make a progress here) I thought standing up, determined.
(Sensei, Sakura...)
