Akira's POV
I stand up my knees are shaking. I look at Naruto and see him still on the ground.
"Naruto!" I said kneeling beside him.
"Sa...kura-chan..." He whispered shaking almost like he won't be able to move
(Damn it...)
"I'll do something about it..." Naruto said standing up.
"Naruto..." I said holding him up, as he can barely stand.
"Here I go..." He said standing up completely, his knees stopped from shaking.
"It's pointless to struggle." The masked ninja said. Naruto released chakra and quickly run to the other side in an attempt to go outside. The enemy appears in the mirror in front of him.
"Naruto..." I said as I ready a kunai. Naruto flips back and runs to the other side again. The masked ninja following behind him.
"Naruto! Behind you!" Sasuke said. I try to throw the kunai I was holding to cancel the senbon going towards Naruto but it got deflected by another senbon going in our direction.
"Ahh!" I said as the senbon pierced my hand.
"Naruto! Akira!" Sasuke said
"It's impossible for you to get out of here. I mean it" The masked Ninja said with finality.
I quickly stand up, ignoring all the pain that I was feeling, and quickly run towards Naruto.
"Akira..." Sasuke said but stand up running towards where Naruto is.
"Akira, don't push yourself" He said kneeling beside me.
"I should push myself, we need to get out of here..." I said removing the senbon one by one in my body.
"Naruto, can you stand up?" I ask as Naruto tries to stand up.
"Y-yeah" Naruto said
"From now on, don't waste your chakra! We are just playing right into his hands" Sasuke said looking back and forth at me and Naruto. I clench my fist, frustrated. Naruto tries to sit up but he collapses.
"Naruto!" I said catching his head.
"Kuso, we need to do something..." I said ready to stand up again but Sasuke hold my hand and pushed me to sit down
"I can see him, strangely my eyes adjusted" He said standing up and covering both of us
"It's about time I put an end to this for you..." The enemy said throwing senbon, but this time Sasuke deflected it with a senbon easily.
"Kuso, we will get out of here" Naruto said standing up. The masked ninja throws a senbon again. I quickly ready a kunai. (I may not see it how Sasuke sees it, but we can't take any damage anymore. I can't let them die here.)
I tried to cover Naruto and tried to pry the senbon with my kunai. Sasuke did the same but he didn't get too far away from us to help me cover the other senbon. I pushed Naruto to the side seeing a senbon fly towards him. I barely dodge it, scratching my shoulder and cheek.
"He disappeared..." I heard Sasuke said.
(Kuso, where is he?)
"Naruto! Don't faint!" Sasuke said looking at us. I looked back at Naruto and see him almost falling again to the ground.
"Damn it..." I said looking around. I hold on to my kunai tightly.
"Akira...Sasuke..." I heard Naruto said as a thud can be heard behind me.
"Naruto!" I said looking back at him
"It seems that kid has reached his limits" The enemy said chuckling, getting Sasuke and my attention. Sasuke throws the senbon he was holding at the enemy.
"Amazing... Akira-chan you are really adapt to the nature of moving fast." The masked ninja said looking at me as I deflect the senbon.
(What's the use of it, I can't still protect them) I thought clenching my fist. He looked at Sasuke.
"That's an amazing move. You really move well..." The enemy said throwing Senbon at Sasuke. Sasuke jumps away from the senbon making him move to the other side, far away from us.
"But I will stop you with the next one..." The enemy said looking at Sasuke then he averts his attention toward us.
I tense and try to compose myself. The image disappears and surrounded us again.
(He wasn't aiming for me, his aiming for Sasuke) I looked at Sasuke.
"Sasuke, your..." I said looking at his now eyes that are glowing red.
"Sharingan..." I mutter as he deflected all the senbon going in his direction.
"Those eyes. It can't be, Sharingan..." The enemy said shocked.
"Only a little, but I was able to see it!" Sasuke said looking at the enemy intensively.
"So, you also have the power of Kekkei Genkai..." The enemy said observing him. I just look at Sasuke amazed.
The enemy then ready a senbon again, the mirrors reflecting his image again.
My chakra spike, making me go numb for a moment (What?... my vision is getting blurry) I collapsed to my knees. All of the movements around me seems like it's happening inside my head.
(This feeling what is this...) I tried to close and open my eyes but it didn't do anything as my head continue to pound. I look at the ground and breath trying to calm myself. I looked up hearing the whip of something metallic in the air going towards our direction. My eyes get wide seeing the blurry image of the enemy going in my direction. I tried to stand up and clench the kunai I was holding.
"Let me make it in time!" I heard Sasuke said, as he appears in front of us. The senbon pierced through his skin as he manages to throw the enemy to the mirror. I stare at him shocked. When Sasuke's blood splattered on me, everything around me becomes sensitive, different from the feeling I was feeling earlier. My vision clears looking horrified at Sasuke, his blood pouring out from his wound to the ground.
"Sasuke..." I whispered
"For god sake, I can't let it happen all over again..." Sasuke said his voice shaking. I heard movement behind me. I didn't dare to look at Naruto, my eyes are only focused on Sasuke.
"You did it! Sasuke..." Naruto said excitedly but his voice turns confused very quickly. Sasuke collapsed on the ground but I quickly catch him.
"Sasuke..." I said my eyes watering
"Don't look at me like that, b-baka..." He said his voice shaking.
"Sasuke!" Naruto said standing from his position and sitting beside me holding Sasuke.
"U-usuratonkachi, what kind of expression is that..." He said looking at Naruto
"W-why?!" Naruto ask, on the verge of crying.
"How the hell should I know?" Sasuke said looking back and forth at us
"Mo, baka! Sasuke, you..." I said my voice shaking, and my hold on him tightened.
"I th-thought I will live just... for the sake of killing th-that man..." Sasuke said as his hand shakingly reach for my cheeks.
"I tried to ... be tough... not to talk to an-anyone, e-especially you... Akira" He said as he put down his hand again.
"Sasuke, you can't die!" Naruto said his tears are now falling down his eyes.
"I can bear with you not talking to me, but this... I-I can't..." I said shaking my head, my tears falling down my eyes.
"You said you will not die until you reach that dream!" I said as if accusing him.
"Hmph...I really hated the both of you... giving the expression like that" He said looking back and forth between Naruto and me. My tears just continually falls.
"I...I can protect myself why did you even jump!" I said frustrated, the pain in my chest growing. He just smirks, mocking me. My hold on him tightens.
"Sasuke! Why would you do that! It's okay for you to just ignore!" Naruto said frustrated, the tears in his eyes falling on his hands
"Hmph, my bo-body move on it's own, how would I know, baka..." Sasuke said closing his eyes.
"Sasuke!" I said shaking him slightly. He smiled and hold my hand that is on top of his chest. He opened his eyes again, looking at Naruto.
"I absolutely refused to die until I defeated... my brother... That's what I was planning, but... The both of you, please don't die..." The desperation in his voice is clear. He tried reaching his other hand to Naruto, but it just falls limp on the ground. The hold of his hand on my hand loosens. I tried to squeeze his hand but I didn't get any response
"Sasuke..." I said my tears falling again
(I'm...I can't do anything... Kuso... Why?...) I just continue to hold Sasuke, I just look at him not even trying to check my surrounding for any danger.
(I can't protect anyone...)
"Sasuke..." I said again as if that will make him open his eyes again.
(Ahh! I wanted to shout. I want that feeling in my chest to disappear. I told myself I will never cry again... I promised myself I don't want anyone to see me crying...) I tried to stop the tears from falling down my eyes, but it just continues flowing.
Third Person's Pov
Naruto and Akira looked at Sasuke, crying. The enemy looked at them.
"Is this the first time you guys faced a friend's death?" He said going in the mirror again.
Naruto and Akira didn't answer. And just looked at Sasuke holding him tighter, like Sasuke will disappear if they let him go.
"This is the way of the shinobi..." The masked ninja said. Naruto's hand clenched
"Shut up!" Naruto said. Even though he might hated Sasuke...he still become part of the family he wanted to have. He might consider him his rival, for him Sasuke is like his brother.
He look at the ground as if he wanted to break it. He tries to calm himself but the hatred and the pain he is feeling just get stronger. Naruto looked at Sasuke. His heart aching, it was like the pain is going to his stomach making him feel hot. He can't do anything, he just lets Sasuke die right before his eyes. He becomes so useless.
Something in the back of his mind whispers to him. His vision becomes blurry as his mind becomes crowded with dark thoughts. He feels like his losing some part of his consciousness.
"I won't forgive you..." Naruto said. He will tear their enemy apart.
Akira looks around there is a steam, the steam is circling around them. Akira looked beside her sensing it. She looked at Naruto as the red chakra slowly become visible to the eyes. She tried to call for Naruto but Naruto just glance at her as the red chakra continue to grow.
Naruto stand up, part of him didn't even know what was happening. All that he knows is he needed to protect Akira, he needed to defeat the enemy. He needed to kill their enemy for what he did. He can hear Akira calling for his name, but it seems like his consciousness won't listen to her. His heart pounding louder in his chest as the second's pass
Akira hold Naruto's hand in an attempt to calm him, but it didn't work. The chakra release an intense killer intent making her hand falls on her lap as she clenches it. Naruto won't hear her. Naruto can't hear her...
The red chakra swirls around them. The Kyuubi's hatred is resonating with Naruto's pain and hatred. The ground crack where the chakra is flowing. Akira looked at Naruto his eyes become slit and red, his whiskers become more visible and intense.
"I'm going to kill you!" Naruto said as his body clenched. His consciousness is slowly slipping away.
Akira looks at her arms as she feels the red chakra touching her skin. She tried to move her arms away but the chakra just flows on her arms. She feels like her arms are burning, no she feels like her whole body is burning. She hisses feeling the intense pain. She closed her eyes and tries to dismiss the pain in her arms.
The pain slowly goes away as if her body just goes numb. She sighed and open her eyes. There was this weird feeling flowing in her body as if her chakra got restored and her body feels like it didn't get battered a moment ago.
She looked at her arms seeing it reddish, what shocked her is that her wounds weren't there anymore. She looked at Naruto all of the senbon on his body was also gone, all of his wound was healed, and his nails becomes longer. The red Chakra form as the Kyuubi. She holds Sasuke tighter as the air becomes thick, full of killing intent.
"Naruto..." Akira whispered, holding Sasuke. She releases chakra to bear with the intense killing intent and to hold them both in position as Naruto continues to rage.
Kakashi feels the sinister chakra. He looked in Naruto's direction
"What happened there?" He mutters. He knows that chakra...He looked in their direction. He needed to finish his fight with Zabuza.
(Naruto, Sasuke, Akira...) He thought, he turns to look forward. He needed to defeat Zabuza, he still have time.
Naruto runs toward the enemy in all four. All the senbons the enemy throws got repelled by just Naruto's chakra. Naruto runs toward a mirror and smashes it with his fist. The enemy tried to attack again but Naruto just moved out of the way. Naruto quickly move toward the enemy grabbing his arm before he could go back to the mirror again.
Akira looked at Naruto, his eyes are full of murder. He looks so angry looking at their enemy, like he wanted to ripped their enemy into shreds.
She just watches them and continues to release her own chakra. She doesn't want to feel it, the intense murder and killing intent coming from Naruto. She looked at Sasuke that is on her arms. She closes her eyes as Naruto shouts, and swings his arm to break the mirror. She releases more chakra to both holds Sasuke and herself in their position when Naruto releases a wave of Chakra, cracking the mirrors.
"Sensei..." Akira whispered, hoping for him even though she know it was impossible for him to hear her. Naruto's rage might be helpful for them to defeat the enemy but she didn't want Naruto to be full of hatred.
"What is that...Naruto! Akira!" Kakashi mutters. Sensing two chakra coming in their direction. He knows that the other was Akira's chakra. It was going slightly haywire but it feels light, different from Naruto's sinister chakra. He readies a scroll and draws blood on it. Fortunately, the seal is not broken, he needed to stop Naruto, while he still have time.
Naruto forms his fist into a ball. He punches their enemy in the face making their enemy fly out towards a mirror and break it. He shouts again and this time all the mirrors break.
The enemy's mask crack as he landed on the ground. Naruto ran towards their enemy for the last blow. The enemy stood up as his mask slowly falls from his face. The enemy looked at Naruto. He can't defeat Naruto.
He waited for the blow as the mask completely falls to the ground, but the blow didn't come, Naruto stops before he could punch him.
Akira opens her eyes again, feeling Naruto's chakra becomes normal. The sinister chakra is quickly fading as if it didn't make Naruto lose himself for a moment.
Akira looked up in their direction. She must be dreaming right? How come she didn't sense his chakra? That... That face, it can't be.

Starting next week I probably will only update once a week. But, I will try to update two times a week if I can. I just need to take time for myself and fix my schedule. So...that's all. Thank you very much and I hope you all like this chapter. ?
