Jessica's Point of View

Why did he have to be there? I could have lived there without any problems. Where am I gonna go now? I can't go to Radiant Gardens. These were the thoughts that drifted through my head as I traveled in the space between. I decided to go to Master Yen Sid's Tower in hopes that he would know what to do.

I entered Master Yen Sid's Study to find that Mickey was there. "Jessica, what are you doing here?!" Master Yen Sid exclaimed in surprise. I started to cry. I became frightened that I had made the wrong decision in coming to the tower.

"Jessica, what's wrong? What happened?" Mickey questioned. I forced myself to stop crying, took a deep breath, and explained what had happened with Terra and Aqua and that a man who looked like Terra said he was Xehanort that was found in Radiant Garden.

When I was done, I burst into tears again. "Jessica, if all you say is true, then things have changed. I know you're upset right now with the situation, but we still need to do something. Can you do what I need you to do?" Master Yen Sid asked me. I wiped my tears away. I knew that I needed to do what I could to help, so I nodded in response. "Very good. I need you to return and keep an eye on this man. Find out who he is and whether Terra, Xehanort, or another individual entirely. We need to know what he is plotting if anything at all, and most of all, we need to find out what happened. Can I count on you?"

"I'll do my best, but if I go back now after I ran off without explanation..." I trailed off. I knew that only trouble would await me.

"Don't worry. I'll go with you and explain things so that you don't get in trouble," Mickey assured me.

"Mickey... Thank you." I managed a weak smile.

"That's what friends are for," Mickey said.

Master Yen Sid had us use the star shard. We saw Mr. Even and Mr. Ansem outside the castle when we arrived. Mr. Ansem was leaning on the wall while Mr. Even was pacing back and forth in a very anxious manner. Mr. Ansem was the first to see us. "Jessica! Where have you been? I was worried," He scolded.

"Don't be mad at Jessica. It was my fault, really. There was an issue that we needed to work out, and my master summoned her," Mickey lied.

"Jessica, please inform us of the situation next time. Tell someone where you are going rather than just run off, alright?" Mr. Ansem instructed.

"Sorry. I didn't think," I apologized.

"Do you have any idea how much stress you caused me? You cannot just run off like that!" Even, who had stopped pacing and heard the conversation, yelled at me.

"Jessica, I want you to go to your room and stay there until I say otherwise. You are not in trouble, but everyone else is temporarily busy with other things, so no one can keep an eye on you at the moment," Mr. Ansem commanded. I nodded and headed to my room.
