Third Person's POV

"Sakura-chan, you're late-dattebayo!" Naruto suddenly said.

Akira and Sasuke looked at the newcomer.

"Yeah...sorry..." Sakura said apologetically as she take a quick glance at her teammates.

"Morning, Sasuke-kun" Sakura said. Akira's brows knitted at that. Why is she acting so strangely, even after seeing Sasuke she isn't looking excited.

"Why don't we just enter," Akira said getting all their attention, they nodded as they all started to walk.

Akira sighs. Do they know already... She looks at her teammates with frustration. Ah, mo, just what are those geezer thinking.

They stop seeing a crowd of students. They pass through all the other genin hearing a thump.

"So, are you sure you're going to attempt taking the Chunin exam with that skill?" One of the genin said.

Akira's brows raise seeing the scene. Okay, so what's happening? Who even are these guys, acting superior...

"May it'd be best if you runts quit. You're green-assed brats, after all" The other genin said.

"Please let us through" One of the genin said, as she help her teammate. She stands up but suddenly gets punched by the guy.

Akira quickly moved in between them.

"Oi, what are you doing?" Akira said

"Oh, another brat" The guy tries to throw a punch at her.

Akira stops the guy's fist and looks at them, confused. Just what are they trying to prove?

The guy smirked. He didn't expect Akira to step in.

Akira let go of his fist feeling it not exert any more force. She squints her eyes confused by their chakra.

"A chunin is at the level of a unit leader. Mission failures, and the death of subordinates, it's all part of the responsibilities of a leader! A brat such this a Chunin? You will not be qualified to be a chunin!" He said smirking.

Akira sighed, she wanted to just start the chunin exam.

Sasuke suddenly steps forward. "A just argument. However, you will let us through. And could you also immediately undo this barrier created with genjutsu?" Sasuke said making the two guy smirk.

Akira, Naruto, and Sakura smirk at that. "Oh, you notice?" The guy said

"How about it, Sakura? You should've been the first one to realize it. Your analytic strength and genjutsu know-how have improved most in our squad, so..." Sasuke said taking a glance at Sakura as he give her a smile.

"Of course. I realized it ages ago! You see this is the second floor!" Sakura said with determination. Her teammate nodded at that as they smirk at the two guys in front of them.

"Well, not bad... But all you've done is catch on. Right?!" The guy said as the two of them suddenly attacked.

Akira and Sasuke got alert at that. Sasuke was the first one to defend but a figure appear in between them, making them stop.

Akira stops her kick midway and smirks. Fast...

The other guy also stops and looks at the genin who block his teammate's kick.

Sasuke and the guy stand up and also observe the genin.

"Hey, this isn't what you promised. You were the one who said you didn't want to carelessly attract attention and be watched." His teammate said as they step forward.

Akira smiles a little. So they taking the chunin exam now. What a coincidence.

The one with thick eyebrows takes a glance at Akira but his gaze quickly averts at her other teammate, his cheek having a blush. Akira sweatdropped at that. Akira's brows knitted noticing the two genin who set the genjutsu disappear.

"My name's Rock Lee. Your name's Sakura, right...?" Lee said walking in front of Sakura.

"Please go out with me! I'll protect you until I die!" Lee said giving her a smile.

"Absolutely... not. You're... too intense" Sakura said full of refusal.

Lee stares at her, as his smile slowly disappears. Akira just watches the scene, feeling sorry for him.

Sakura just passed by him and Naruto follows as he laugh. They stand beside Sasuke as a girl called him getting all their attention.

Akira was about to walk when a shining smile get her attention.

"Akira-san, please go out with me" Lee said not as excited as before knowing the answer.

"Huh? Still no, Lee-san." Akira whispered as she take a glance at her team. She is thankful that they were talking with each other.

"Then, spar with me again!" Lee said smiling.

"If I have time, Lee" Akira whispered, as she quickly pats his shoulder and walks away from him when her teammate looks at her waiting. She doesn't want a lot of questions.

Lee looked at Akira's back confused by the behavior. She is acting like she doesn't know him.

Team 7 was about to walk away when someone suddenly walk in front of them.

"Hey, you there. Identify yourself" The guy said looking at Sasuke.

Naruto's shoulder drops at that. Why does it always have to be Sasuke. Adding to his frustration was the other genin looking at Akira. He knows that look, and he can't let them get close to her.

"When asking someone his name, give your own name first." Sasuke said

"You're... a rookie, right? How old are you?" The guy asks hand in his pockets.

"I'm not obliged to answer." Sasuke said as he pass him. The guy's brows knitted, looking annoyed.

Akira was the last one to follow but stopped and raise her eyebrow. "I wish to have a fight with you...really" The guy whispered, seeing Akira look at him as if he is joking.

"Just like you always say, you're probably gonna win, Neji-san." Akira said respectfully as she quickly walk past him and went to her team.

"Akira, just stay by my side-dattebayo" Naruto whispered as soon as she gets beside him.

Akira raised her eyebrow "Huh?"

"See they are looking at you-dattebayo" Naruto said with frustration as he pulls Akira.

Naruto looks around his eyes twitching seeing all the other genin looking at Akira with a blush. He tried to be intimidating when a guy tries to walk toward Akira. The guy just looks at him weirdly and averts his eyes to Akira which makes him stop, intimidated all of a sudden. Naruto's brows twitch at that. He swears he is going to practice being intimidating.

Akira looks at the guy trying to approach her. She didn't want anyone to get too close to her.

"Ah, mo, you should wear a mask like Sensei" Naruto suddenly said. Making Sakura chuckle.

"No way." Akira said as she puts her hand in her pocket.

Sasuke smirks, he is in front of his teammate so they can't see him. He glances at Akira as his lips form into a straight line remembering what Kakashi told them.

Sakura sees the sudden change in Sasuke's mood when his shoulder drops. She leans a little forward to see what makes him like that. She looks at Akira seeing Sasuke looking at her. Her shoulder also drops at that. She is also worried.

Akira's brow twitches. Umm... Is it just her or did the team become gloomy all of the sudden?

Naruto notices the sudden change. He knows the reason behind it. He takes a quick glance at Akira and smiles. He knows Akira will be able to pull it off, Akira is strong.

"Come on you guys! Let's get ready for the chunin exam-dattebayo!" Naruto said as he hold Sakura and Akira's hands and walk beside Sasuke.

Sakura grabs Sasuke's hand startling him. She gave him a smile of reassurance as she glance at Akira.

"Let's go!" Naruto said jumping up and down and dragging his team with him.

"Oi, oi!" Sasuke said when they practically started running like an excited child.

Akira sweatdropped. What's with them? They look all gloomy seconds ago, now, they have too much energy.

They walked up the stairs and stop once they reach the top of it.

"Ah, man, finally just a few steps and were there-dattebayo" Naruto said, excitedly.

"Akira, are you sure you want to take the chunin exam? We know that you're gonna take the chunin exam alone." Sakura suddenly said worriedly.

Akira stops and looks back at her. A smile on her lips.

"Come on now, trust me I will be okay" Akira said.

Sakura looks down. She is worried, what if Akira gets in danger? As far as she knows Chunin exams can be really dangerous.

"Even if you guys tell me not to. I'm still gonna take it. Don't worry too much." Akira said as she walks beside Sakura.

Sakura looks up at her, Akira was giving her a genuine smile as if promising her that it's really gonna be fine. Sakura sighed and nodded returning the smile. Maybe everything will is fine. Maybe she's just worrying too much.

"Come on now-dattebayo" Naruto said again excitedly.

Akira sighs and looks to the side. She hopes everything will be fine, just like what she said.

"You with an unpleasant look. Wait a minute!" They all stop hearing a voice.

Akira looks up at the comer. Lee... what is he doing here?

Lee jumps down and looks at Sasuke.

"Lee?" Akira said brow twitching. What is it, this time?

"Why don't you fight me here now?" Lee said looking at Sasuke.

"My name's Rock Lee. When asking a person their name, I'm supposed to give my own name first, right?... Uchiha Sasuke-kun" Lee said pointing at Sasuke.

"Hmph... So you knew?" Sasuke said raising his brow slightly.

"I want to fight with you!" Lee said positioning.

Sasuke smirks "Why don't you fight Akira, it seems like you know each other?" Sasuke said making Akira choke on her saliva.

Sasuke glances at Akira. Judging by the way they look at each other, it looks like they weren't strangers. He wants to see them fight. They seem like they know each other a long time ago.

Lee glances at Akira, and Akira quickly shakes her head in disapproval.

"I will make sure to have a spar with her after the chunin exam. But I want to fight you, Uchiha Sasuke-kun. I want to test out how effective my techniques will be against the descendants of the clan reputated for genius Ninjas." Lee said. He wanted to fight the famous Uchiha clan. He knows that Sasuke was the top rookie this year.

Lee suddenly looks at Sakura a blush appearing on his cheeks.

Akira sighs. She walks on a post and sits there. If they are going to fight, this will be really interesting. But she somewhat feels worried. If Lee uses his technique against Sasuke... Sasuke will...

She snaps out of her thoughts hearing a thump and seeing Naruto lying on the ground. What did he do?

"I declare. You are absolutely no match for me. Because... among the Leaf Village Genin, I'm the strongest now." Lee said positioning again.

Akira's brows raised at that. So Naruto tried to attack him, huh... Knowing Naruto has no chance against him, Naruto could be good at Taijutsu but Lee is better at it.

"Interesting. I'll do it." Sasuke said stepping forward.

"Stop! Sasuke-kun! There are less than thirty minutes until registration." Sakura said making them all look at the clock.

"Don't worry. It'll be over in five minutes." Sasuke said positioning. He runs toward Lee and jumps.

Lee looks at Sasuke and disappears from his position.

"Leaf Hurricane!" Lee said throwing a roundhouse kick but Sasuke dodge it by kneeling. Sasuke's brows knitted. He can't completely get out of the way... He raised his arms when Lee throws a kick again.

Akira stands up immediately when Sasuke got hit by the kick. Tch... maybe this isn't a good idea, after all.

Sasuke stands up and smirks. If this is the case this is a good opportunity to get to used THAT.

"I'll do it" Sasuke said smirking. Akira looked at Sasuke. Don't tell her... He is going to use that, she thought. Sasuke looks up his Sharingan is activated.

Lee looks at him examining the eye. The Sharingan...

Akira walks beside Sakura, hand in her pocket.

"Don't you guys think that this is a little too much for a fight, before the chunin exam?" Akira said tilting her head.

Sasuke looks at her and smirks. "Hmph, no, this is just the right time," Sasuke said as he run towards Lee again.

Akira looks at the two. Even with the Sharingan Lee will... Akira looks at Sasuke as he attacks. But if Sasuke manages to read him, this will be in Lee's disadvantage if he uses a technique, especially since the chunin exam is still hasn't start.

Sasuke releases a frustrated sigh as he lands on his feet. He can't read the Jutsu his using.

"That's right... My technique is neither Ninjutsu nor Genjutsu" Lee said as he run to Sasuke. Sasuke tried to dodge all of his attacks but he still can't read him, making him unable to defend himself properly.

"My technique is mere Taijutsu...Sasuke-kun" Lee said positioning again. He disappears from his position and appears behind Sasuke startling him.

"You may not be able to believe it just like that, but..." Lee said calmly.

"Punk!" Sasuke said as he tries to punch him but Lee just jump out of the way.

"It's said that the Sharingan has the ability to spot all Genjutsu, taijutsu and Ninjutsu. Make no mistake, the Sharingan reads Ninjutsu and Genjutsu that require the principle of building up Chakra and weaving signs, and can mostly handle such Jutsu. However, only Taijutsu is a little bit different..." Lee said as he stands straight again.

"What do you mean?!" Sasuke said with frustration.

"Even if you can spot my movements with the Sharingan, your body is not equipped with the speed to respond to my Taijutsu. In other words, even if you understand with your eyes, there's nothing you can do if your body can't keep up" Lee continues making Sasuke more frustrated.

Akira looked at the ground. That's right, Sasuke can't defeat Lee if he just encounters him now. If he wants to keep up with Lee's speed he needed to train for that, which would take months. He may copy Lee's technique but he still needs to train to achieve its speed and have the physical strength to initiate it in the first place.

Akira looks at Sasuke. Sasuke was already fast himself. With Sasuke's Sharingan and natural talent... He would probably be able to keep up with it if he train for a month or a few weeks maybe...

Sasuke run towards Lee again, throwing punches but Lee was dodging them effortlessly. Lee kicks him in the chin and appears behind Sasuke still in the air. That technique... Dancing Leaf Shadow...

"With this technique, I will prove that effort exceeds the genuis." Lee said as the bandages on his arms loosens.

Akira's eyes widen. No this is not just a simple Dancing Leaf Shadow... This technique she had seen it before... Lee... he is not intending to use a technique like that... No this is too much for a fight. They needed to stop.

Akira was about to throw a kunai when the bandages were about to wrap at Sasuke's body but a windmill pinned Lee's bandage on the wall.

Akira's brows twitch at that. Ah, mo, now they are caught doing trouble again. But she is thankful that he came right on time.

"That's as far as it goes! Lee!" The voice said making Lee stop and the other look in the newcomer's direction.

"Sasuke!" Akira said when Sasuke almost collide with a wall but Sakura catches him.

Akira sighed in relief. Now, what will happen?

"Y-you were watching...?" Lee said as he kneel in front of the turtle.

"Lee! that technique just now is prohibited, you know!" The turtle said sternly.

Lee bowed apologetically.

Naruto looked at the Turtle, confused. Is he getting scolded or something...

"Naruto, are you okay?" Akira said crouching to look at Naruto.

Naruto shivered at the sudden presence. "Akira-ttebayo" Naruto said startled. He forgot they were supposed to take the chunin exam.

"Huh? yeah?" Akira said dumbfounded. Did he hit his head too hard or something?

"Akira, is that Bushy Brow's Sensei?" Naruto said as he clasp his hands together.

Akira almost laughs at that "Ehh, nooo..." Akira said looking at the turtle. She doesn't even know if a turtle can be a Sensei.

"Come on now, we still needed to go to the registration room" Akira said looking at the clock.

Naruto nodded but his focus was still on the turtle who is scolding Lee, as they walked toward Sasuke and Sakura.

"But-" Naruto said pointing at the turtle, once they reach their two other members. Naruto stops when a figure appears on top of the turtle.

"Man, Life treating you good, huh?" The person said posing.

Akira covers her mouth to try not to laugh while her teammate just looks shocked, mouth open wide.

"Whoaa! An even more intense guy has appeared-dattebayo!" Naruto shouts.

"Yo, Lee" The person said giving him a sparkling smile.

They just stare at the two with the same clothes and thick eyebrows, even their hair is the same.

"T-those are some incredibly raging brows...I've never seen anything like that in my life" Naruto said with a shaky voice that almost make Akira burst laughing.

"H-hey! You guys! don't mock Gai Sensei!" Lee said looking at them with a tick mark.

Naruto shouts back at him making Akira sigh. Well, this is just great... They could have been in the chunin exam room instead of being here.

Akira's brow twitches when Lee suddenly gets punched by his Sensei. Making Lee fly in their direction.

Gai walks in front of his student and kneels. Lee sat up shakily as he looks at his Sensei.

Akira deadpan when tears rolled down their eyes then a music started playing in the background. Where in the hell did that come from?

Sasuke's brow twitches when the two hug. He can't believe that he lost to a guy like that.

Sakura suddenly speaks when the two starts walking "What're you going to do about the Chunin Exam?! There's no time!" She said making the two stop.

"Oh, that's right..." Gai said turning to look at the team. If he's not mistaken, those kids are...Kakashi's.

"You guys... how's Kakashi Sensei?" Gai said

"You know Kakashi...?" Sasuke said.

"I know him all too well. People call us... eternal rivals" Gai said chuckling.

Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto deadpan at that. Akira looks at them chuckling. It's true, though

Gai suddenly disappears from his position making the three look shocked as they look around.

Akira put her hands in her pocket when a presence appears behind them. Her teammate tenses.

"By the way, my record is fifty wins and forty-nine losses." Gai said as the team turn to look at him.

"One thing, I'm stronger than Kakashi..." Gai said giving them a sparkling smile.

Sasuke stares at him, frustrated. He's fast. He's faster than Kakashi! Is he human...?!

"This time around, Lee caused the trouble. Out of consideration for my face, forgive him. Out of consideration for this pleasant face." Gai said giving them a thumbs up.

Sasuke clenches his fist, as he looks at Lee. By any chance... this guy is stronger than him.

"Yo, Akira, long time no see" Gai said looking at the silver-purple-hair genin.

"Yoo..." Akira said with hesitancy.

"I heard that you're going to take the chunin exam alone" Gai said putting his hands on her shoulders. It's been a long time since they have a genin take a chunin exam alone. He feels worried.

"You heard, well, that's good" Akira said, as she take a glance at her teammate who is looking at her with a question. She didn't really know what to say. Did the other chunin takers also know about it?

"Well, I think you all should go to the classroom, just be careful" Gai said as he slightly squeeze Akira's shoulder. Then he looks at his student.

"Then, do your best, Lee! Farewell!" Gai said as he gave him a thumbs up and a smile before he disappear along with his summon.

"Sasuke-kun... I have one last thing to tell you. I actually came here to verify my own ability. I lied before. The strongest man of the Leaf Village Genin might be on your team..." Lee said taking a glance at Akira.

"or might be on my team. I'm entering in order to defeat that person. And you are one of my targets. Please prepare yourself for the Exam!" Lee continued. He has high respect for Akira. He still didn't see the two fight, judging by it Akira might be stronger than him since their last encounter. Lee takes a last look at the team before he leaves.

Sasuke follows Lee with his eyes, full of frustration. What does he mean by that... Their team? Who is he talking about?

"Akira you really know them-dattebayo?" Naruto said hand behind his head.

Akira nodded making his team look at her "We didn't have a time, it's a long story" She said with a sigh.

Akira tenses when Sasuke looks at her. Is he mad or something?

Sasuke gave her a smirk, making her calm. "Lee is referring to you" Sasuke said still with a smirk as he put his hand in his pockets.

Akira look where Lee is earlier. She doubts it, Lee might be stronger on her now, which means...

Akira shakes her head making her team confused. She looks back at her teammates " The strongest genin of Leaf might be on Lee's team..." She said making them look curious at who it is.

Sasuke's brows knitted. Who is it? If Akira doubts herself it means that they really might be stronger than her.

"...Hyuga Neji" Akira said calmly.

Sakura and Sasuke just stare at Akira. Hyuga...one of the four noble clans of Konohagakure. Considered the strongest clan in their village.

Sasuke smirks at that. A Kekkei Genkai, huh. This Chunin exam is full of monsters. It's starting to get interesting.

"Let's go, Naruto! Akira! Sakura!" Sasuke said as they start walking.
