Jessica's Point of View

As I headed to Mr. Ansem's study, Xehanort passed by me. He looked to be in a hurry. I thought of what Ienzo said about Xehanort doing most of the work and followed him to see where he was going. He was in such a rush that he didn't even notice me. Xehanort stopped in front of the door of Mr. Ansem's study and knocked before he went in. He left the door open, but I couldn't see what was happening without being seen. Luckily, I had my cell phone on me, which had a camera, so it could serve as a mirror. I angled it to show what was going on in the room. The first thing I noticed that seemed out of place was that Mickey was there. "Master Ansem, regarding the experiment I presented the other day... With your permission, I'd like to proceed-" Xehanort started but was quickly cut off by Mr. Ansem.

"I forbid it!" Mr. Ansem stood up and slammed his hand down on his desk. I jumped at his sudden outburst. Mr. Ansem continued in a quieter voice. "Forget this talk of doors and the heart of all worlds. That place must not be defiled."

"But, Master Ansem! I've been thinking," Xehanort started to make his argument, but Mr. Ansem just shook his head.

"Xehanort... Those thoughts are best forgotten," Mr. Ansem sighed.

Xehanort grunted with a bow and shut the door. I quickly leaned against the wall casually, looking at my phone. "Jessica, what are you doing here?" Xehanort asked me.

I jumped in fear that I had been caught. "Nothing!"

Xehanort raised an eyebrow. "How long were you standing there?"

"Why does that matter?" I answered smugly before going into Ansem's study.

Ansem and Mickey looked at me. "Jess!" Mickey exclaimed happily.

"Hi, Mickey!" I smiled.

"Jessica, what is it that you want?" Mr. Ansem asked.

"Um... I'll ask later. I can see that you're busy. Sorry for barging in like that," I apologized.

"It's alright. Mickey actually wanted to see you, but I assumed you were still gone," Mr. Ansem said.

"That's right. Let's find somewhere to talk, Jess," Mickey suggested.

"Okay," I agreed.
