I don't own any of this, Loud House belongs to Nickelodeon.
Watching the blob covered fast food restaurant in horror. The crowd remain motionless, not knowing on what to do in order to save the unfortunate people that are currently trapped inside. They can actually hear the building groan from the sheer weight of the blob, scaring the crowd more as it might collapse on top of those trapped people, burying them alive before that thing eats them.
This situation is even more stressful for the Loud family; who none of them are smiling as they fearfully held onto each other, Luan couldn't even crack a joke for how dire this situation is. Rita meanwhile is pretty close to tears over the thought of her two babies being trapped inside of there, she really wishes that someone could do something in order to save them from that monster.
"Aw man! What in the world are we going to do, dudes?" Luna question with a visible squeak in her voice. "We can't let that thing eat our sibs and Bobby."
"Maybe we can use a bulldozer to push it out of the way." Lana suggested for one good push from a vehicle such as that is one good way of getting this thing off the Burpin Burger.
"Not a good idea." Lucy cuts in. "It'll absorb the bulldozer, while eating the person that's inside in the progress."
Deflated over her idea being shot down, Lana snaps her fingers. "Rats. Well there goes my idea."
"Isn't there anyway we can stop this hideous thing?" Lola question in a bit of hysterics as this thing sure is ugly to look at. It looked like something that Aunt Ruth would stir up.
Hearing Lola's question, Lincoln finally remembers about the blob's one weakness. Due to all the panic and mass confusion of the stampede, plus the worry of Lori's, Bobby's, and Lisa's safety when the blob covered the restaurant, he had actually forgotten about it. "Wait there is a way to stop this thing."
"Really how?" Luan asked in hope for now they can save Lori and the others.
"We need to hit it with something cold." He instructed.
"Where are we going get something that's cold?" Leni asked.
"Don't worry guys. I got a plan." Getting up to his family Lincoln carefully explained his plan to them and everyone else to hear. Once they gotten the full details of it, the Louds along with a large crowd of people rushed off to gather whatever cold items that they could get their hands on. Others meanwhile; stayed where they were as they continue to watch the blob. They just couldn't move for the sight of it is just enough to freeze them on the spot, although at the first moment it makes any kind of movement towards them, they are going to run for it.
"Alright" Bobby began in glee as he looked around the freezer. "I-spy with my little eye. Something cold, but also meaty."
Shivering from the cold of the freezer Lori, Lisa, and Grant didn't bother answering Bobby's I-Spy for they were more focused on trying to keep themselves warm. However Bobby wanted to keep everyone's spirits up, plus he wanted someone to answer his I-spy. "Come on, it's cold, but meaty." He repeated with a smile.
Grant slightly groaned for Bobby was going to keep pestering them until they finally answer. "It's the frozen burgers. Isn't it?"
"Correct!" He gleefully replied, earning another grumble from Grant. How could this guy be thinking about playing a game when a giant monster had consume the restaurant? Speaking of which another groan, moaned around them with small pieces of the ceiling hitting them on the shoulders and heads.
"Hmm" Lisa began as the groan died down. "Judging by that groan of the building. I say that according to my calculations the foundation for our local fast food restaurant can't support the weight of the amoeba any less than ten more minutes."
"What happens pass ten minutes?' Lori hesitantly asked for it made her fear the answer.
"The whole building will collapse right on top us. Burying us in a great pile of debris and rubble, if we are lucky enough not to crushed by the collapse of the building, will either face loosing oxygen or get consume by the extraterrestrial amoeba." Lisa explained without a hint of fear.
"Great. So we are just going to die." Grant bitterly remarked.
Ignoring the bitterness in Grant's voice. Lisa simply readjusted her glasses and nodded. "Afraid so."
"Oh great. That's just fantastic!" Grant sarcastically remarked with a little laugh.
"Don't worry man. I'm sure that the people outside are trying to get us out of this situation as we speak." Bobby said in a way to make Grant feel a bit better, which didn't do anything in the slightest. "In your dreams. How is anyone supposed to get this thing out of here?"
"Hey!" Lori quickly stepped in to defend her boyfriend. "He is just trying to give us a bit of hope."
"Like that's going do us any good." Grant argued.
Breathing to herself in order not to blow up on him, Lori calmly said further. "Look. Would you rather be stuck here in fear? Or at least be in a more calm state until we get rescued."
"My eldest sister is correct. Panicking will do us nothing, but make rash decisions that will only make things worse. It's best to keep a calm mind and rationalize our body heat." Lisa chimed in while sitting herself down in a ball in order to preserve her own body heat.
Another low groan filled their ears, which didn't help calm Grant's nerves. It only made him feel more anxious, causing him to be a bit fidgety as he then began to pace around with huffs of air escaping him like a steam train. "We are going to die. We are going to get buried alive and then get eaten like fries." In utter anger Grant pushes over a pile of boxes that scatter all over the floor. "Why does this have to happen to me?"
While Grant began kicking the boxes in frustration with his foot, Lori thought about the people outside, hoping that someone has gotten an idea on getting them out of this mess before the whole building collapses on top of them.
All over town the Louds and along with others gathered whatever they can to make cold temperatures: Rita, Lynn Sr, Howard, and Harold gathered some fridges. Luna, Luan, and Leni took several snow machines from the department store. Lynn and her team pulled out several air conditioners, Lana and Lola took several popsicles. Lincoln and Clyde took the Flipee machine, after some hard convincing and a loss of 20 bucks to Flip. Lucy and the morticians club meanwhile gathered the cold air from the cemetery.
As for everyone else. They gathered more refrigerators, ice machines, tanks of ice cold water, and a few fire extinguishers. Gathering everything that they needed the crowd heads on back to the restaurant.
When they got back; the blob is still covering up the fast food restaurant, oozing it's outer layers of its body with the low groan of the building muffling out from within it. The size of it is both utterly terrifying and amazing, it's honestly felt like watching a tornado, it's terrifying and can kill ya, but you just can't help but stop and stare at it.
The observation of the blob isn't a priority for the returning crowd however as they all took their collected items over to the sidewalk. Many of these items only needed one person to be carried over, but some required two or more in order to be brought over to the growing pile such as the refrigerator and ice machines.
The last item to be brought over to the pile had been one more refrigerator. Now with everything in place, all that needs to be done is to power them all on and the only way to do that is by plugging them in the telephone phones. But even before they could do that, they needed to make sure that they can all turn on at the same time and in order to do that, they needed some plug sockets which luckily they can get at a nearby store.
So as some went off to get those sockets. Lynn and her teammates have grabbed hold of some fire extinguishers and like some ghostbusters armed with their proton packs. They slowly approached the blob until they were a few feet from it. "Eat fire extinguisher! You tub of jello!" Lynn bellows with all her might.
The flow of carbon dioxide shoots out at the blob. It visibly shakes from the cold feeling of the foam, very slowly it began to recede it's body away. This showed that the talk about it not liking cold is true, now just hopefully everyone else can get those machines on as Lynn didn't think that these fire extinguishers aren't going to last much longer with the way their using them.
Suddenly an explosion blew from inside the blob, shortly afterwards the lights of the building flickered before completely switching off. It looks like that the electrical wire for the building had snapped under all that weight. Hopefully Lori and the others aren't afraid, well more afraid since they are now in the dark.
The sudden loss of lights did indeed spook Lori and the others for it was so very unexpected that it made them all jump, especially Grant who did a short run into the wall. Rubbing his hurt head, he looked around quickly while trembling to himself. "What happened to the lights?"
"It seems that the power has gotten cut off. No doubt because of all this weight around the building. This would be a minor inconvenience, but now I'm afraid that this turned into a code red situation." Lisa gravely informed.
"What do you mean?" Bobby questioned in great alarm for that is bad thing to suddenly be speaking about.
"You noticed on how the temperature is not as cold as it was a second ago." Lisa replied.
Going wide eyed, they all realized that it is getting quite warm in here. That will normally be good, but considering that the cold is the only thing that's keeping that creature from coming in here. They can definitely see why that this would be a great reason to be greatly alarmed over this turn of events.
Looking down to the floor Grant let's out a high pitch scream as he pointed to the bottom of the door where the blob is coming right on through. Panicking, the four backed themselves up to the back wall, keeping themselves well away from the blob as it slowly closed in on them.
There is no way out of here. They are essentially trapped, very soon they will be consume by this creature. None of them knows on how it's going to feel, but they have a feeling that it isn't exactly going to be very pleasant. Slowly turning to face each other in order to have one last look at each other's eyes. Lori and Bobby tightly hugged each other, waiting for the inevitable. The blob gets to the tip of their feet, it is already starting to itself wrap around them.
But it then suddenly stops. Lori, Bobby, Lisa, and Grant very slowly opened up their eyes to look at it as they wondered on why it had suddenly stopped on its consuming of them. The four continue to look down at it, then to their utter surprise. It suddenly began to slowly retreat as it slithered like a snake out of the freezer, leaving the very much confused group alone.
"Strange?" Lisa pondered. "It had us in its mass. I wonder why it stopped absorbing us into nothing?"
"Who cares!" Grant shouted in relief for he wasn't going to die tonight. "We aren't going to get eaten and I am out of here!" Before anyone could say anything to him. Grant bursted open the freezer door and ran off by going through the back door. Leaving Lori, Bobby, and Lisa to wander out of the freezer a bit much slower than him.
They all watched as the body of the blob retracts itself through the restaurant and then eventually through the windows and doors. It's the strangest thing? Did the creature give up or something? Rushing over to the doors, the first thing they saw is the line of appliances and machines rattling with some shooting out projectiles like popsicles and ice cream or snow.
"Ingenious! Are local townsfolk have made a line of cold machinery to create a vast cold temperature." Lisa happily stated.
Stepping outside of the Burpin Burger; Lori and Lisa immediately got swarmed by their family, who all hugged them tightly, while all talking at once which is so loud they can barely understand on what they are saying.
Eventually Rita spoke up more louder in order to be heard over the noise generated by the family. "Oh! Thank goodness you're okay!" Cranking back her tears from how happy she felt knowing that her babies were all safe and sound. If the others weren't in the way, Rita would give both Lori and Lisa a very tight hug as of right now.
Meanwhile the others still spoke at the same time, by now you can only just make out on what some of them are saying.
"You should've seen it! After everyone plugged in everything, the machines all turned on and hit that thing with cold air!" It was awesome! It felt like something out of a movie!" Exclaimed Lana in excitement.
"The team and I definitely showed that thing who's boss." Lynn stated proudly before blowing the tube of the extinguisher like a gun.
"I was totes scared for you Lori." Leni cried as held her sister in a very tight hug.
"I didn't think that it was going to work." Lola admitted as she honestly thought that the jello, monster, thing, was just going to shrug off the attack. Good thing she had been wrong about this one.
The praises and thankfulness for the threes safety continues on, which they really appreciated for after all they went through tonight, they really needed this. But yet, there is one important thing that they needed to know about. What happened to the creature?
Going over to the side of the building, after getting out of group hug, they got their answer.
The blob had shrunk back to the size of a car with its body all black as the night sky. Lori hoped that it's dead for she really didn't want to deal with this thing anymore, not after all that happened in the freezer earlier. Lisa however stepped up to it for a more closer, critical eye as this is her chance to really have a good look at it. "Hmm. It looks like that it's temporary out of commission."
"W-what?" Lori splutter out.
"So it's dead?" Bobby asked a bit of naive as that's what he hoped it's what Lisa meant by it being out of commission.
"No. It rather means that it's very much alive and will get back to it's rampage through the town once it warms itself up." Lisa deadpanned explained.
"So what are we going to do?" Lynn Sr. asked as he shook in fear for he didn't want to have another horrible night such as this.
"I got a few ideas." With a large smile, Lisa knew that this is a great idea as it'll insure that this amoeba won't hurt anyone else ever again.
Hopefully.
The howling, cold winds of Antarctica blows unforgiving through the icy land. The chilly lands is the most unforgiving place for anyone to live here, which is why it's a perfect place to hide something here without the fear of someone else discovering the thing you hid.
From up above the white land; a plane flies over in high attitudes. It was here for only one purpose, which was to drop off that black box in the cargo hold. It had been very strange though, one of the top scientists of the world; Lisa Loud. Had made a request to transport that box all the way down here. When asked on why and what was in the box? All she told them that it was simply some vital equipment to measure the ice and snow.
Strange? But hey, a job's a job.
"Reaching drop off zone. Prepare to release the cargo." Reaching over to a switch the pilot opens up the cargo hold ramp, while the copilot reached for a button.
"We are at the drop off zone. Repeat. We are at the drop off zone."
"I'm right here, you know that right?" The copilot pointed out.
"Oh! Just push the button." The pilot grumbled.
The black box shoots out from the cargo hold. It spins in the air as it made it's decent towards the ground below, before a white parachute suddenly shot out and slowed it down before it finally touched down to the snowy ground. Leaving the box to get buried by snow that blew fiercely on it, which made sure that the thing inside will not escape or will it?
The End?
