AN: Sorry this is late, I got was having trouble writing it.
Either way, hope you like it.
Also, if it seems it cuts off a bit too soon, i cut it there so i could update the story for everyone.
For the rest of the day Ron was having a hissy-fit about how McGonagall wouldn't let Harry visit Hogsmeade.
All the way to their next lesson (Charms) Ron complained and called Professor McGonagall lots of things that 1, annoyed Hermione very much. And 2, Jack knew he would never say to the teacher's face.
"Oh Ron will you give it a rest!" Jack said as Ron was about to give another long winded complaint, finally having had enough of hearing the red-head's voice. "Accept the fact that Harry can't go this year, and move on will you? Not everyone here likes to hear your voice as much as you do so just shut it and let it go. You're giving everyone a headache."
"I agree," Hermione said feeling a headache coming herself, nodding. "Besides it's probably for the best, what with Sirius Black out there and everything."
There was a shocked silence from Ron for about 3 minutes before he said; "There's always the feast. You know the Halloween feast, in the evening."
"Yeah I guess," Harry said gloomily "Great."
"Well if you don't want to go there we can go see Nearly-Headless-Nick at his Deathday party again." Jack said trying to cheer his friends up.
"Um no thanks," Harry said remembering last year's 'Deathday Party' all too well. "Besides it's not the fact it's the feast, it's the fact that... well I just think it would taste better if I was coming back from a day out in Hogsmeade with everyone else. That's all."
For the next few days everyone tried to cheer Harry up and come up with ideas on how to let him come to Hogsmeade too.
"I can try and forge your uncle's signature," Dean Thomas said pulling out his pen and uncapping it to show he was determined.
"Thanks Dean, but I've already told McGonagall that they didn't sign it," Harry said doing his homework one day.
Once Dean said he understood and walked away, Ron came up with an idea of his own.
"What about the Invisibility Cloak?"
"What about it?" Harry asked confused.
"What if, you wear it, and then, you know, come with us to Hogsmeade." Ron said grinning.
"Is the food all you pay attention to at feasts Ronald?" Jack said sitting on the window seat and doing his own homework, Baby Tooth sleeping in his hair.
"What's that mean?" Ron asked a little grumpily.
"He means," Hermione said rolling her eyes as she too did her homework "That Dumbledore said at the opening feast, when he was warning us about the Dementors, that they can see through Invisibility Cloaks."
"Oh yeah..." Ron said frowning and went back to playing solitaire with the pack of Muggle cards Jack lent him, so he didn't disturb everyone when his Exploding Snap cards well... exploded.
Hearing the commotion and being the best Headboy he could be, Percy came over to try and give Harry his say on the matter.
"You know," he began "They make a big fuss about Hogsmeade, but I assure you Harry, it's really all it's cracked up to be." he said seriously "All right, the sweetshop is nice , but Zonko's Joke Shop's frankly dangerous, and yes, the Shrieking Shack's always worth a visit, but really Harry other than that, you're not missing anything."
"Gee, thanks Perce," Harry said more grumpy/gloomy than before the eldest Weasley at Hogwarts came over.
On Halloween morning, Jack woke up, went down to breakfast with everyone else, and could already see Harry was depressed.
"If it's that much to you Harry, I can stay behind as well," Jack said grinning a little as he saw the minor glare Harry was giving Percy.
"No, it's fine Jack, you go with everyone else." Harry said over his getting-cold pancakes. "I'll be fine, honest. I'll just stay here doing important wizardy things. Besides don't you want to spend the day with Elisa?"
"You need to learn to be less stubborn, Harry." Luna said kindly as she and Elisa came over to join them for breakfast.
"I am not stubborn," Harry said taking a sip of pumpkin juice.
"You know, you denying it only makes the point stand out more," Jack said smiling and helping himself to jack-o'lantern shaped pancakes.

After breakfast, everyone who was allowed to go to Hogsmeade met in the entrance hall getting looked over by Filch who was making sure no-one without permission was sneaking out.
"You sure you don't want me to stay?" Jack asked once again to Harry, as he Elisa, Ron and Hermione were getting closer to the doors.
"Yeah, I'm sure," Harry said putting on a fake smile and nodding.
"We'll bring you loads of sweets from Honeydukes," Hermione said looking sorry for him.
"Yeah, loads," Ron said seeming to have forgotten their argument over Crookshanks and Scabbers.
"If you want we can try and shrink you down to fit into my pocket," Elisa said smiling and pulling her wand out of her side pocket "I've starting to learn how to do them, but haven't learnt the anti-charm to it yet."
"Elisa..." Jack said smirking a little "I don't think that's a good idea. We don't want to make a Borrower out of Harry, do we?"
"Please, Jack," Elisa said smiling "When has Harry ever borrowed anything? He's too sweet and innocent to borrow anything from anyone. Just like he's too stubbon to ask for help when he needs it."
"Yeah, that's true..." Jack said nodding in a thoughtful way.
"I know it is, because I said it," Elisa said proudly, but put her wand away none-the-less "But if you really don't want to be alone, I'm sure Annie wouldn't mind you spending the day with her."
"Don't worry about me." Harry said in a supposed to be offhanded voice. "I'll see you all at the feast. Have a good time."
Feeling sorry for Harry, Baby Tooth flew over to him from Jack's pocket and went into his, looking up at him with a small smile.
"Next!" Filch called out, getting their attention and after saying one more goodbye, went up to him to be allowed out of the castle.

As they neared the gates, Jack paused as he saw two Dementors on either side of the gateway, feeling sick already even though they were 15 paces away.
"Jack," Elisa said in a whisper holding his hand "It's ok.., I'm right here, just close your eyes, hold your breath, and keep holding onto my hand."
Nodding Jack did as he was told and after a very cold unsettling few minutes, things started to feel right again and they stopped walking.
"You ok, Jack?" Hermione's voice asked first.
"Slowly Jack opened his eyes and looked around and saw the Dementors were still at the gates and they were on the path to Hogsmeade.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." Jack said placing on a fake smile, to show them he was ok, but showing he was lying my still holding onto Elisa's hand and avoiding everyone's eyes.
"So where do you guys want to see first?" Elisa said wanting to change the subject.
"Honeydukes please!" Ron said excited.
"No, we should do that last," Hermione said calmly "If we do that first and we get Harry a bag of sweets too, then we'll need to carry them around with us all day."
"Yeah, but if we put it off, and wait till the end, then they might either be closed or out of something – meaning we can't get said something for Harry." Ron argued.
"You sure you're doing this for Harry, Ron?" Jack asked smiling a little feeling more like himself again with each step away from the Dementors they got.
"Course I am!" Ron said proudly "I want my best mate to have the best and as many different kinds of sweets Honeydukes can offer. I've been saving up my money all year for this."
"Ok, but if you start complaining, Ron," Jack said not wanting a North vs. Bunny Fight with Ron and Hermione, "Then you will have to give us each 3 sickles to make up for it, deal?"
Nodding and shaking hands, Ron set off at almost a run to the sweetshop.
Rolling her eyes, Hermione set off too at a slightly slower / calmer pace.
"You're really cruel you know that, Jack" Elisa said hugging his arm a little.
"I'm not cruel," Jack said smiling "I just know how to tell what's going to happen and how to use it to my advantage."
