As the red team marched along the nice dry field to meet up with the blue team, Jack was looking along the line to try and find the new Ravenclaw Seeker and was surprised by what he saw.

ooo

The line up for a Quidditch team when they met on the field was, Captian – regardless what position they were, Keeper, Chasers, Beaters, and Seeker.

Going down the line, of the Ravenclaw's side, there was Roger Davis (a Chaser), Grant Page was Keeper, Randolph Burrow, Jerremy Stretton the other Chasers, Jason Samuels, Duncan Inglebee the Beaters and on the end, her platinum blonde hair done in a nice resting-on-the-shoulder braid, a keen look in her eyes and a smug look on her face as she looked to Jack and blew him a small kiss, with one hand while she held onto a fine fast looking broomstick was...

Elisa Dale.

Gulping Jack shook his head to try and clear it, drowning out all the thoughts at how great she looked in her blue Quidditch robes and trainers.

"Jack, focus," he heard Katie Bell say beside him "You an fawn over your girlfriend later, right now we need to win this match and to do that we need you to help us score points, got it?"

Not sure if he trusted himself to speak he nodded and turned his attention to Madam Hooch who told them to mount their brooms.

In the stands, the Guardians – minus Bunny – were just as surprised to see Elisa was on the pitch too, where as Ron, and Annie was laughing at Jack's expression and / or cheering the older Dale on.

"Good think Jack's not being Seeker here, or else that pretty Sheila would have him so distracted, and be flying circles around him all game." Bunny said helping himself to some popcorn he had asked the house-elves to make him when he heard Elisa would be playing in this game.

Back to the players, Jack flew over to Harry and said to him firmly "If you do anything to hurt her, I will prank you every day until next month."

"Threatening your own team mate Jack?" Elisa called out smiling at him "Not very sporting is it?"

Ignoring her, Jack zoomed off catching the Quaffle before Davis could catch it, and whizzed off towards the goal, his ears so full of blood due to his blushing, he could only just hear Lee Jordan and his commentary.

"They're off, and the big excitement this match it the Firebolt which Harry Potter is flying of Gryffindor. According to Which Broomstick, the Firebolt's going to be the broom of choice for the national teams at this year's World Championship –"

"Jordan, would you mind telling us what's going on in the match?" interrupted Professor McGonagall's voice.

"Right you are Professor – just giving a bit of background information you know. Jack Frost of Gryffindor already at the Ravenclaw goalposts, he shoots and... scores, with a force that looks just as powerful as the Firebolt's speed as it is said to break the sound barrier creating a sonic boom be highly professional flyers –"

"JORDAN!"

In the skies, Page had caught the Quaffle and thrown it back into the game where it was caught by Jerremy Stretton who, after dodging a Bludger hit towards him my Fred Weasley, headed for the Gryffindor goal posts.

Jack was staying where he was for the moment watching for Elisa seeing her watching Harry who had just starting diving towards the Ravenclaw posts.

Seeing this, the older Dale sister followed him, but hearing a teammate call to her pulled away, as the second Bludger came close to knocking Harry off his broom, only just missing because Harry pulled up in time but the little golden ball was gone.

There was a long, loud 'Ooooooh' of disappointment from the Gryffindor supporters, but much applause from the Ravenclaw end for their Beater.

George vented off his frustration by aiming the second Bludger at the offending Beater, who was forced to roll over in mid air to avoid it.

Shaking his head to help him try to focus again, Jack got back into the game calling for Angelina to pass him the red ball as she seemed to be surrounded by the other team's Chasers.

Catching it, he headed for goal, taking aim at the middle one, but used his broom to swing it into the one on the left.

"Gryffindor lead 80 points to 0, and look at that Firebolt go! Potter's really putting it through its paces now. See it turn, Dale's Northumbrian 19, while putting up a good fight, has no chance!"

"JORRDAN! ARE YOU BEING PAID TO ADVERTIZE FIREBOLT'S? GET ON WITH THE COMMENTARY!"

Jack had looked over his shoulder when he heard Lee say what make Elisa's broom was, thinking that that place went up in smoke years ago.

"Something you like, Jack?" Elisa's voice called out from where she saw him looking at her.

"That's a Notrhumbrian broom?" Jack asked coming closer so they didn't have to shout so much.

"That's what the note that came with it said. Not sure how Lee knows though," Elisa said looking down at the handle and seeing strange diamond carvings in it. "It was a birthday present from a magical friend of the family. Excuse me." she said as she spotted Harry diving again this time towards Gryffindor's posts, and zoomed off after him.

The Snitch was there, but just before he could reach for it, Elisa blocked him.

From where Jack was he could hear Oliver Wood call out:

"HARRY, THIS IS NO TIME TO BE A GENTLEMAN! KNOCK HER OFF HE BROOM IF YOU HAVE TO!"

Obviously Wood missed the warning Jack gave Harry as the game started, but it didn't matter, Harry didn't do anything like that anyway, but he did look like he was getting annoyed with how hard Elisa was making this for him.

Jack was shaken out of his thoughts and of watching the Seekers, by Katie Bell yelling at him and throwing the Quaffle at him hitting him in the chest.

Reflexes taking over, he wrapped an arm around it and went towards the goal, stopping for a second when he heard people screaming.

Looking around he saw three tall hooded black robed beings making their way onto the pitch looking up at Harry who had just shoved his hand up his sleeve.

But wait. They couldn't be real Dementors because he was perfectly fine which meant...

"HARRY, WAIT!" he called out, was cut off by the other boy calling out –

"EXPECTO PATRONUM!"

Out of the Harry's wand came a large silver stag which chased down the 'Dementor's' knocking them over before running a few laps of the pitch and then vanishing.

In the few seconds that followed Harry firing the Patronus, he had managed to wrap his fingers around the snitch with the hand still holding onto his wand.

Madam Hooch's whistle blew ending the game, and everyone came back down to the ground, Jack running over to meet Elisa and Harry.

He had to squeeze through lots of other Gryffindor's who were all trying to get at Harry, he even heard Percy that that was 10 Galleons to him from Penelope.

Jack made it next to Harry as Lupin came and congratulated him on the Patronus, looking a little shaken but pleased.

"That was quite some Patronus," he said.

"The Dementors didn't affect me at all!" Harry said beaming "I didn't feel a thing!"

"That's because they weren't real Dementors," Jack answered before Professor Lupin could.

"What?" Elisa asked confused, off to the side to stay clear of everyone showing their appreciation for the red robed Seeker.

"Come and see," Lupin said leading them to the edge of the pitch. "You gave Mr Malfoy quite a fright."

"Humph serves him right I say," Tooth said from where she was with the other Guardians watching Professor McGonagall shouting at the four Slytherin boys – Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle, and what looked to be Marcus Flint the Slytherin captain.

"An unworthy trick!" she yelled. "A low and cowardly attempt to sabotage the Gryffindor Seeker! Detention for all of you, and 50 point taken away from Slytherin."

"Shouldn't that be 100 points Professor?" Elisa spoke up making the transfiguration teacher look to her, seeing her hug Jack's arm. "After all, they could have gone for Jack as well if he was in their range, and sabotage him, by scaring him into thinking they were Dementors too, right?"

After a moment of thought McGonagall agreed and took another 50 points away just as Professors Snape and Dumbledore came over to them.

"You didn't have to remind everyone I'm affected by those things too, Snowflake." Jack said pouting a little.

"Oh I didn't," she said her eyes on the teachers yelling the ears off of the green robed boys "I made it so instead of Slytherin only being deducted 50 points, they are deducted 100 points."

"You know, with brains like that, one would wonder why you're not in that nest of snakes too," Jack said turning his back on the scene.

"You, are saying that, to me?" Elisa asked surprised, as she picked up her broom. "Remind me, who was it that made Lockhart sick in the days leading up to Valentine's Day, hmm?"

"That wasn't me... That was because he ate some bad chocolates someone sent him." Jack said looking as innocent as he could.

Rolling her eyes Elisa kissed his cheek and went off to the Ravenclaw changing rooms.

Once she was gone, Fred came over, wrapped an arm around his shoulders and said "Come on Jack! Party! Gryffindor common room, now!"

"Right, right," Jack said letting himself be dragged past the Guardians who waved at him as he was hulled off to the changing rooms to get his things, and then back up to the castle, Annie, standing beside them, looking after Baby Tooth, and Ron busy enjoying Malfoy's failure.
