I worked hard and all I got was 1 stinkin review! Hopefully this will get me more reviews. Anyway the writing is of course bad and corny. I hope you enjoy either way.
I woke up to the sound of a female screaming.
The only female I can currently think of that would share my dwelling is my mate.
I also heard a roar from my own species but no direct relation. I instantly knew what the other male was trying to do.
He was trying to take her away from me!
I could not allow that to happen.
I came out and saw that he had already picked her up and ran. I followed both scents until I came to an unpleasant smelling place underground.
I saw her lying on her side facing away from both of us. I waited until he was safely away from her before I snuck up and attacked with my claws.
It all passed as a blur until at one point I managed to pick him up and throw him a few feet away.
Then out of the blue he took off.
Too bad.
I was hoping to kill him for something this precious.
However I had to see if she was all right.
I went over and rolled her over a bit so that she was on her back.
She's so beautiful and she smells so good.
She is unconscious and does not open her eyes.
She does however smile a bit as if she instinctively knew.
As if she was surprised that I came to save her.
Of course I came for her.
She's too precious to lose.
I did not have time to dwell on it now though, we would talk later.
I picked her up and was close to carrying her out when I heard voices.
About three different ones.
Only a single thought crossed my mind.
I was not going to lose her.
