The morning came and Dewey woke up happy that what happened yesterday wasn't a dream and he was surprised to see his mother still awake but he remembered that she was "asleep" for years.
Dewey: "Good morning mom."
Della giggled and said with smile: "Good morning my little angel."
Dewey's phone rang and he answered the call which was from Louie.
Dewey: "Hello"
Louie angrily said: "Where are you? You've been missing for a whole night."
Huey: "Louie let me take care of this." He took the phone and asked Dewey calmly: "Where are you?"
Dewey: "I'm still at the hospital. You should come here. You won't believe what you're going to see."
Huey was confused and surprised but he answered simply: "We're coming."
Dewey hanged up the phone and Louie asked Huey: "What is going on?"
Huey: "We need to get to the hospital. Now."
Huey and Louie ran to the hospital and when they entered Della's room, they were surprised to see their mother awake.
Huey: "Mom?"
Louie dropped a few tears and said: "You're back." And then he rushed into her for a hug.
Then Huey slowly came to his mother for a hug. As Della embraced all of her sons, Huey said: "I've waited for this day ever since I learned about your condition. And now it finally came."
Della kept smiling until she remembered something: "Kids, where is your father?"
Dewey answered sadly: "He's dead."
Della made a sad face but then Louie: "We were also sad when we learned about it but we learned to live with it. And we're happy that you're back."
Della smiled again: "And I'm happy to see you all grown up."
Huey: "Hey mom. Your birthday is tomorrow and Uncle Donald's birthday as well. I was thinking that we can use your return as a birthday surprise."
Della: "Sounds like a great idea."
Dewey: "What do you say we leave the hospital and have some fun?"
Della: "Sounds good."
Huey, Dewey, Louie and Della told the nurse that there are leaving and they also told her not to call Donald or anyone else from Della's family as a birthday surprise.
Meanwhile
Donald was cleaning the house until he heard someone knocking on the door. He opened the door and he was surprised to see that it's Daisy.
Donald: "Daisy? I didn't expect to see you now."
Daisy: "First time for everything. Anyway, I invited our friends and relatives for your birthday."
Donald gasped and said: "Thanks Daisy, I haven't planned inviting the others. You spared me a lot of work."
Daisy: "You're welcome."
Donald: "You look tired."
Daisy: "Yeah. I traveled a lot around Duckburg and many other cities."
Donald: "How about I give you a massage?"
Daisy smiled: "Do your best."
Meanwhile
Huey, Dewey, Louie and Della were in a restaurant, drinking cokes. Huey, Dewey and Louie were telling her a lot about their lives.
Della: "Daisy is still dating Donald?"
Huey: "Yeah. She says she misses you and the good times you had."
Della: "Yeah. We had great moments together but I'm sure we're going to have more. By the way thanks for the new clothes you bought me."
Della got new clothes which are a black t-shirt with a phoenix and brown short pants.
Della continued to talk: "So, where am I going to hide until tomorrow?"
Louie: "You can hide in our treehouse. Uncle Donald doesn't go there unless we tell him to."
Della: "So, do you have lots of friends, girlfriends and good moments?"
Dewey: "Oh yeah. We have a lot of friends and great moments. As for girlfriends, only Louie has a girlfriend."
Meanwhile
Daisy: "That was a great massage you gave me Donald."
Donald: "Thanks. I've been practicing."
Daisy: "I have to get back home but I will see you tomorrow." She kissed Donald and said: "Bye babe."
Donald: "Bye honey."
After Daisy left, she got thirsty so she went to the restaurant Huey, Dewey, Louie and Della were in. Daisy entered and she gasped once she saw them.
Daisy got to the table and said with surprise in her voice: "D-Della?"
Della: "Daisy"
Della got off the table and gave her childhood friend a hug.
Daisy: "I missed you for so long."
Della: "I understand. It seems that you succeeded your dream of becoming a news reporter."
Daisy: "And you made one of your sons' dreams come true."
Della giggled and answered: "I guess I did."
Daisy and Della broke the hug and sat down. Della asked: "So, how is my brother?"
Daisy: "The same as usual. By the way tomorrow is your and Donald's birthday."
Della: "I know. Can you not tell him I woke up? I want to surprise him tomorrow."
Daisy: "Sure. All of your friends and relatives will be there."
Della: "AWESOME. So, tell me how is your life?"
After a long conversation, Daisy went back home and Huey, Dewey, Louie were showing Della around Duckburg until the night came. Huey, Dewey and Louie got back home and Della got inside their treehouse. Before he went to bed, Dewey pulled small birthday gift from his drawer and said with a smile: "It's finally happening."
