Just as a heads up, it's fanfiction so none of it is supposed to be scientifically accurate.

This chapter is also for Reebist who commented on my last chapter. Thank you so much for commenting! It made my day knowing that there are people out there who truly enjoy my fanfiction!

I am super sorry. I forgot to post yesterday but I mean, it was the holidays.

Chapter Seven: Once a Myth, Now A Reality.

The Tales of the Brewing Beast

Everything started with silence. An infinite amount of space and nothing to fill it. Until the light burst, showering the world in dust particles and pulsing energy.

Watch as stars form, casting the silence with a radiant glow seen from lightyears across. Now comes the crash and burn of planets, orbiting the once lonely suns. Impact on impact on impact, each creating its own world.

Mercury, too close for comfort for the sun but it doesn't seem to mind. The first friend it ever had.

Venus, a second friend only bigger and more independent. Farther away to give the sun it's needed space.

Earth, the lonesome planet of its world. Not wanting anything to do with Mercury and Venus, it created its own friends. Friends that dwelled on its surface, tickling Earth as the rock, water and ice appeared. It stands out from the others for it gives life.

Mars, wanting to be like Earth, different from the rest but ultimately failing. The red gives it an angry glow, just like its core.

Jupiter, unstable as well but couldn't contain itself. Always in a constant battle with anger. Wanting to conceal itself from the stable planets, a barrier of rock was created.

Saturn, too unstable to be made of rock like the rest, gas fills its atmosphere. To hold on to its last little bit of sanity, rings of rock, ice and dust were created to protect the rest of the planets in its world.

Uranus, following suite of the separated planets, this icy blue planet stands alone as it orbits around its sun.

Neptune, trying to compete with Uranus. The battle of the blues.

Pluto, the lone wolf of the pack. Not quite a planet. Not sure why it's here as it cuts off the orbits of its supposed friends.

The strength of Earth is unmatched compared to the others as it thrives on growing life. Creating its none haven the others failed to do.

Somewhere far away, a rock with pulsing, alive energy grew envious of Earth, the planet that figured out how to make its own friends. The rock bursts with anger, collecting particles from its neighboring stars. Dark, anger swirls of gray dust, taking on a life of its own, festering with a hatred for Earth as it grows and prospers.

Gathering up the remains of the rock, it scatters itself into particles, penetrating the rock. Its anger fuels it as it uses its energy to hurl itself at Earth.

Speeding through the infinite amount of space, it's complete silence as it makes impact, crushing Earth. The dark, angry swirls laugh in triumph until the Earth fights back, rock from its own surface slamming into the rock containing the energy. It screams as it is hurled back into space along with the bits of sacrificed Earthen rock.

Earth, fractured, cures itself, wanting to protect the life it created for itself. To punish the floating rock in space, swirling with the still angry energy, a single point it created, sucking it in and imprisoning itself in a new rock. It's to orbit the Earth, always under its watchful eye in order to protect its life.

Even angrier with defeat, it digs its way out of its new home in the Moon's core. As it digs and digs, it leaves particles of its energy behind in the form of dark gray particles, pulsing with small bits of energy. It dies as it continues to fight, needing a host but unable to take over the Moon.

With its last breath, the energy breaks through the surface of the rock. Scattering into a million dormant particles, it floats through the air, clinging to its last centimeter of life. It peers at Earth, teeming with new life as it circling, showcasing browns, blues, greens and whites.

As time passes slowly, the particles start to gain back energy for since the beginning of the Moon, its anger for Earth has festered, helping to build its dying energy.

Still without a host, dark swirls, angry and growing impatient, float in space, living on the Moon until it found a way to break Earth into a million particles, just like it had done to the energy.

It's almost too good to be true when the time finally comes. Earth, with its curious lifeforms, decided to come to the dark swirl's home on the Moon. Gleeful and excited, the swirls sink into the surface, causing the rock to simmer as glimmering silver ships landed.

Swallowing up the forgotten particles in the ground, the dark swirls take on a more solid form, ready to prey on the weak Earthen lifeforms that Earth deemed worthless enough to send to its enemy, the Moon. With dark gray swirls of dust and energy rolling off of it, the Beast, built on anger, impatience and envy is ready to take over the lifeforms in order to get back at Earth.

The Beast, built of pure energy, lets the dark swirls take on a life of their own, subject to it in order to make the process shorter because it is impatient and cannot wait anymore. The Beast, pure fiery red bleeds all over the Moon, the particles turning a shimmering dark red. It suffocates the dark swirls of dark and light gray until they break through the surface, taking a deep gasp of breath.

They roll along the surface of the Moon as the weak Earthen lifeforms disembark from their only safety, their ships. They watch as they build structures of Earthen origin, waiting for the perfect opportunity to infiltrate one of them.

They smile, dark swirls dancing as they sliver their way across the shimmering surface towards a lone Earthen, looking at its home down below. The swirls attack, striking the Earthen but failing to infiltrate. It appears Earth didn't give up on this group of lifeforms, still protecting its friends as always.

Furious, the Beast rips the dark swirls back into the bloody red depths of the Moon. Anger bursting, a hazy glow is cast in the rock, positioning it with sickening energy. The Beast goes quiet, watching as the Earthen lifeforms settle, creating their vast domes and shimmering city. Waiting for the next perfect opportunity to strike.

It finally comes with an innocent little Earthen child, foolishly playing where the other foolish Earthens are mining into the Moon. To close for comfort for the Beast, the dark swirls wrapping its way to form a barrier between it and the Earthens.

The Beast watches the child as the dark swirls shadow itself in a dark glow, mixing with the color of the Moon's rock. The child approaches, close enough to touch the dark swirls.

Feeling a pull to the child, the Beast reaches out, the dark gray swirls brushing against the child's skin. It infiltrates, causing the section of skin to become a sickly pale gray. Laughing with excitement, the Beast thrusts itself at the innocent child, sinking into its skin easily.

The Earthen lifeforms have grown weak, the Earth leaving them to their own accord as this group of people abandoned their home, their friends, their protector. It's the opportunity the Beast needed to get back to Earth. It'll be a slow process before it reaches Earth's core.

Radiating off energy, the dark swirls wrap their way around the child's, the Beast giddy with success. Normal Earthen energy which consists of a weak white glow, now is bursting with energy, transforming into a dark blue.

While the child is compatible, the Beast can't grow because the host isn't strong enough. Furious, it leaves the lifeform, setting a single strand of dark gray energy in the hosts energy pulses to thrive and live. One by one, the Beast infiltrates each Earthen lifeform, transforming their energy into something new. Some stronger than others, have a vibrant blue-white energy while the rest have a dark blue.

The Beast, frustrated that it's been unsuccessful in finding a compatible host, rests back in the depths of the Moon, watching as its strands of swirling dark energy take over the lifeforms, making them better, making them more than they were.

It watches with each new child as its energy infiltrates their energy. It sits and waits until one day, when a compatible host so powerful will be born. When that day comes, their energy won't be vibrant blue-white like the strongest ones or the dark blue of the weaker ones, their energy will start out as a blinding blue-white until the dark swirls penetrate it, growing until it is consumed in fire. Then and only then, will the energy turn a hot burning red, angry and impatient. Hungry for Earth.

I wanted to create a more fantastical sense to the creation of the planets so that's what I did.
