Notes: wow, this was a hard one to write. I really didn't like the license exam arc, but here we are. Enjoy!

"Phew! I feel great now!" Uraraka giggled to herself as she walked down the path to the waiting room. "It just feels like all the pressure of this test is off my shoulders now that we made it!"

"Yeah… all stress gone." Sero quietly muttered as he and Izuku followed behind her, both of them still slightly terrified of what just happened. While they did qualify to the next round, the two of them were a little afraid of possible attempted murder charges placed on them after Uraraka led the charge. He leaned over to whisper into Izuku's ear. "Dude, I didn't know she would drop a whole freakin' mountain on people…"

"I mean… zero gravity and…" Izuku gulped as he looked ahead to his skipping friend, remembering her twitching eye and forced smile as she blew off her steam earlier. "Okay, maybe she took it a little far."

"I almost wanted to help those guys, man." Sero grumbled as he rubbed his head. "Surprised they didn't fail us for not helping those in danger."

Izuku frowned at the sarcastic joke, sighing and stretching his arm as they came in sight of the waiting room. Knowing they at least made it through the first stage brought him some relief, and now he was hoping to run into Momo and the others now. 'Hopefully none of them were eliminated in that attack.'. He thought in worry.

"Hey, what's up!"

"Huh?" Izuku turned around to the sudden call, smiling when he saw Kirishima and Kaminari running down the path toward him. "Oh hey! You guys made it through too!"

"Yeah! We nearly got our asses caught in a mess, but sparky here actually got us through that!" Kirishima laughed out and nudged Kaminari. "Glad to see you got through this, also."

"Yeah. I was hoping we would run into more of our class inside the waiting room." Izuku added.

"Don't worry, man. I bet half of the class is already inside." Kaminari grinned and crossed his arms. "No wonder they all went after us. They knew how tough we all were."

"You got that right!" Sero cheered out as he gave a fist bump to Kirishima, the guys walking by Izuku as they laughed in success. Smiling, Izuku felt happy knowing a few more of his classmates had passed as well. He heard another set of footsteps approaching, turning back and seeing Bakugo slowly walking down the path as well.

"Oh, hey Kachaan. Glad to see you made it through, too!" He quickly said, chuckling and rubbing his head. "I should've figured if Kirishima was here, then you passed with him as well."

Gritting his teeth, Bakugo scoffed and looked past Izuku to the building. "Didn't expect to see you here, Deku. I was wondering if you'd gotten your ass kicked by some nobody out there."

Frowning at his former friend's attitude, Izuku just brushed it off and smiled. "W-well, the old me maybe. B-but I've changed all that and won't be held back anymore."

Normally, hearing those words from Deku would have made Bakugo's skin crawl, ready to blow that stupid smirk off his face. But now… he just took a breath and kept his gaze forward. "I would hope so. You've gotten a hell of a lot stronger than the weakling back in middle school."

Izuku felt his heart skip a beat in shock from what he had just heard, almost frozen in place as Bakugo walked by him. "Wh-what…?" he stuttered out, unsure if he actually heard a compliment coming from the explosion user. "Kachaan… did… did you just…?"

Bakugo glanced to the ground as he clenched his fist. "It seems you finally made that borrowed power your own."

The warm air was the only thing Izuku could hear after that, his body seeming to block out all other senses as he took in what he just heard. He didn't even know what to say in response, only able to turn and stare at Bakugo walking down the pathway ahead of him. He didn't need to ask what Bakugo meant by that, or to pretend to be confused, for it was obvious what was being said.

Bakugo knew something about his secret.

Tapping her foot impatiently, Katara took another bite of the sandwich she had as she sat in her chair. After meeting back up with Tsu and Shoji, the waterbender opted to sit in silence as she ate her food. Just seeing the stern look on her face was enough for the pair to give her some space, opting to let her calm down before they spoke to her again. Frowning to herself, Katara didn't mean to act upset towards them. It was just her mind was a little jumbled to what she heard earlier, glancing up to the loud voice across the room.

"Do you like Mirko?! AMAZING! She is an amazing hero!" Yoarashi yelled out in glee, patting the other students shocked shoulder. "I love an outgoing and determined hero as well! Those are the best!"

"I didn't say I liked anyone…" the confused student said as Yoarashi laughed in front of him.

Squeezing her knuckles, Katara stared at the now gleeful teen in confusion at what he confronted her earlier with. For some reason, he seemed to have a deep resentment not just to Endeavor, but to Shoto as well. Just hearing the way he described him made it obvious there was something more than just disliking his father. More than that, his last statement rang in her head over and over, almost like he was trying to warn her.

'If you put your hope in a Todoroki, you're going to end up disappointed.'

"What did he mean by that?" Katara said to herself, setting her sandwich down and rubbing her hands together. She knew Shoto was not the warmest person when they first met. In fact, he was at the bottom of her classmate list before the festival. The way he spoke to her and seemed to push everyone away, she certainly was in no need to try and get close to him either. If they never had their match and actually faced each other, she may have never found out he was nothing like the man that was his father. She wouldn't have learned he wasn't the cold teen she originally thought, and would never have grown as close as she was now with him. And she wouldn't have felt her chest tighten whenever she saw him, just like it did now when her eyes saw him walking in her direction.

"Shoto!" She shouted in excitement as he approached, getting up from her chair and giving him a quick hug. "I'm glad you made it!"

Shoto couldn't help but smile, happy to both her passing and her embrace as he moved back from her. "I'm glad as well. I was alone after everyone got separated and was wondering what happened to you."

"I was with Tsu and Shoji after that. We got jumped by another class but we all got through together."

Looking over, Shoto saw the pair approaching him and nodded. "So you were the first three to come here."

"Yeah, we got here about ten minutes ago," Shoji answered. "I was wondering when some of the others were going to arrive."

"I ran into Yaoyorozu and a few others on the way here just now."

"Really?" Katara asked in surprise, looking past him to see Momo, Kendo, Jiro and Ojiro walking through the doorway. She felt more relieved seeing more of her classmates were safe now, especially as the speaker gave it's next update.

"Our seventieth participant has now passed. Only thirty more spots remain now."

"Ribbit… already?" Tsu mumbled in worry. "Not everyone is here yet."

"They will make it. They are all strong." Katara said with determination. "We will all be getting through this together." as the others moved past her to go and talk to the newcomers, however, Katara's eyes noticed Yoarashi staring in her direction, except his glare was locked right onto Shoto. His eyes then locked with hers, the tall teen frowning before forcing his smile back on and continuing his random conversation with another student.

While her uneasy feelings had vanished when Shoto had arrived, they immediately came back when she saw the harsh gaze from the rival student. She took a breath and looked over to Tsu. "You guys go on. I need to talk to Shoto about something."

Both Tsu and Shoji stared at her for a moment before they decided to let her deal with whatever was bothering her, nodding and walking over to greet the newcomers. Shoto raised his eyebrow in confusion at the sudden change in demeanor, turning back to Katara. "You alright?" he asked.

Sighing, Katara looked back towards Yoarashi across the room and nodded his direction. "You remember that guy from earlier before the exam?"

Turning to where she was looking, Shoto immediately noticed the tall teen yelling out and joining in any conversation around himself. "Yes, he was the one who came into our class earlier."

"Aizawa sensei said he was also a recommended student like you and Yaoyorozu," Katara added, "And he seems to remember you."

Shoto's eyes widened in surprise to her statement, turning back to see Yoarashi glaring at him once more. Shoto was surprised by the action, still trying to remember seeing him before. As he tried thinking back, he then realized he could barely remember anyone else there, so focused on himself to even give others notice. He felt his stomach tighten in frustration, remembering who he used to be before shaking those thoughts free and turning back to her. "I still don't recall him. Did he… say anything to you?"

"Well…" Katara gave a small shrug, "He really does not like your dad at all, not to say I'm surprised. But he seems to feel the same way about you."

"What?" Shoto felt his heart jump at that statement, his fathers scowl appearing in his mind. "What did I do to him to make him feel that way?"

"I don't know." Katara exhaled and rubbed her forehead. "I'm sorry, I… I shouldn't have even said anything. Don't worry about it, alright?"

"Don't worry?" Shoto asked her, his brow furrowed slightly. "He's saying things like that about me, but he doesn't even know me. I-

"Shoto, it's alright. After today, you won't see him, and we will be back to school." She told him, now regretting even bringing it up. "Don't even waste your time with him. He said some things but I know they are the furthest from the truth. What matters is you are here now and we passed the first round, alright?"

Looking back over his shoulder, Shoto couldn't help but glare at Yoarashi once more, both confused and upset to whatever he had spoken to Katara about. Feeling her soft hand on his arm, however, he took a breath and looked back to her. "Alright."

"Thanks. He doesn't know you like I do. Just forget him and let's go to the others." She said as she pulled him along, exhaling as they walked. Wanting both of them to forget what was bothering her, Katara now put her focus on seeing the others and who had passed. Much to her excitement, she now saw Izuku and a few others were here as well, along with Kirishima laughing with Sero and Kaminari. "You see? I told you more of us would be here now."

"Hey! Look who we got here!" Kirishima grinned as he saw Katara approaching. "I heard from Shoji you guys were the first ones here!"

Smiling, she gave a nod. "Yeah. We were wondering when everyone else was going to get here. I'm glad we have so many in our class already."

"Uh, duh. Why do you think those other classes tried to take us out? They know we are all gonna make it." Kaminari smirked out.

"These other classes have been targeting us. It seems they didn't account for how much we improved since the festival." Shoto added.

"Hell yeah. I can't imagine if myself from back then tried to take this test. I may have actually been the first one taken out." Kaminari admitted.

While she was happy seeing alot of her friends here already, Katara's smile faded once more when she saw Tenya and some of the others weren't here yet, including Mina and Tokoyami. Suddenly, the speaker announced once more the count of passing participants, now totalling eighty. "They filled in ten more that fast? The others are really cutting it close."

"Yeah, let's all hope they push it through now." Jiro added, whistling as she rubbed the bandaged area on her head.

Katara noticed the injury, walking closer in concern. "You got hurt out there? What happened?"

"Just some assholes who tried cornering us," Jiro grumbled out, "took a shot at my jacks to take away my hearing."

"You got them back, though," Kendo chuckled as she came up to them, "Knocked that one out cold with that hit in the end."

"Hey, I was baking in that room they locked us in. Totally deserved it, that welding chick." Jiro hissed.

"Here, let me see that." Katara said as she opened her gauntlet and removed a handful of water. Bringing the shere up, she placed it on Jiro's injury and activated her healing. The light glow from her hand was followed by a sigh of relief from the earphone girl making Katara chuckle. "It's not that bad I can tell. Just give me a second."

"No no, take your time. Feels pretty good actually." Jiro mumbled out making the other two girls laugh.

"Anyway, I wanted to thank you and the others for earlier, still," Kendo quietly said as she placed a hand on her hip. "For a second I thought you guys were gonna leave me to try and get out."

Rolling her eyes, Jiro waved her hand. "What, you think we were gonna just leave you? We are all in this test together."

"Yeah but… still. It's not like I have been part of you all for that long." Kendo shrugged. "Most people would probably have left to make sure themselves and their friends made it out first."

"Well we aren't most," Katara retorted, not needing to ask what happened to figure out what was going on. "You're one of us now. We stick together."

Kendo couldn't help but smile at the waterbender. "Well I appreciate it. Thanks."

Behind the group of 1-A students, Bakugo stood alone as he drank a glass of water. Looking over, he glared as he saw Katara pulling her hand away from Jiro's head, hissing to himself in frustration. He chugged his glass and wiped his chin before grunting to himself. 'Something isn't right. Ever since school, Hair Loops seems to keep getting new powers all the time; water, ice, and then pulling shit from the air and plants. And she can heal as well, however the hell that works.' He slammed his cup down and turned to head to the bathroom, shoving past several other students until he found himself in the quiet restroom alone. He stood for a moment before going to the sink and turning it on, scooping up some water and splashing his face. Watching the water flow down the drain, his mind went back to that night, still so fresh in his mind.

'I heard what that All for One bastard wanted… he wanted to take her power to test for himself. It was the same thing he did to that pussycat girl. But for some reason… he couldn't take it from Hair Loops.' He glared and looked up to himself in the mirror. 'Just what the hell is going on now?'

Wiping his face dry, Bakugo stomped out of the bathroom and back to the main area where everyone else was, his eyes locking with Izuku once more. Both of them stared in silence for several moments, the explosion teen exhaling through his nose and turning away. 'Now we got two quirks that make no fucking sense in this class. I got a pretty damn good idea on Deku. Now to find out on Hair Loops.'

As Bakugo sulked away, Izuku couldn't help but swallow the growing lump in his throat, hoping he was somehow mistaken about what he heard earlier. 'But… what he said was what I said that night after the mock battles. I thought he blew off what I slipped out. But it-

"Izuku?"

"AGH!" Izuku yelped out from the sudden touch on his shoulder, turning back to see Momo staring at him in concern. "Uhh.. Wh-what's up?"

"I was asking how did your time out there go for you, but then you started spacing out," She frowned and rubbed his arm. "You alright?"

"Y-yeah I'm good!" He chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry. It was a little crazy, but when Uraraka and Sero met up with me, it helped me get out of a bind."

"Oh, were you almost taken out?" She asked in worry, but then noticed his face turning a bright shade of red. "Izuku? What's wrong?"

Izuku began sweating profusely as he suddenly remembered his… close encounter with Camie in the testing grounds, not wanting anything like that to get to Momo. "N-no no no! Nothing crazy at all!" he forced out another chuckle, only to shiver at the raised eyebrow he received from his crush.

"Izuku, what's… what's going on?" she asked him, glancing over to see Uraraka suddenly turn away, noticing the light shade of pink on the gravity girls face. Taking a breath, Momo shook her head for a second to try and keep her thoughts clean, although the frown on her face said otherwise. "Is… is there something you need to say?"

"Nope! Nothing at all!" Izuku pleaded, "Not like something bad happened and-

"Yo Midoriya! That was crazy out there!" Sero whistled as he slapped the green haired teen on the back. "When me and Uraraka saved you from that naked girl, I thought it-

Sero stopped talking as he gave a shocked look, only to snicker internally when he felt Izuku gasp out and Momo's eyes burst out of her head. "Oh… were you two talking? My bad, I shouldn't have interrupted. I'll just leave you two to yourselves now." He turned and walked away quickly, hiding the huge grin he got from what he created.

"Izuku…"

Hearing his name whispered in that tone only made Izuku shiver on the spot, hesitantly turning to see Momo staring blankly at him. "Y-yes?"

"Can I ask you a simple question, please…" The creationist was strangely calm as she closed her eyes and pressed her hands together… only to then create another chain and snap it between her hands. "What did Sero mean by that naked girl?"

If there ever was a moment where Izuku could have died in fear at any moment, he felt it could have been right now. "Uhh… I can explain!"

"Please… explain it to me."

Several more minutes ticked by in the holding room as Class A waited for the first portion to end. Katara was growing worried as Katara listened to the announcer every time another student qualified, hoping to see Tenya and the others coming through the door. Soon they were down to the last ten spots, and still none of them had walked in yet.

"Now we have eight spots left!"

Squeezing her fists, Katara felt more worried as number after number were announced. Another pair of students walked through the door, and once again it wasn't anyone from her class. "This is too much. How do we know if they passed or not?" Katara complained.

"I heard they used to have a screen on for us to watch the others compete, but they turned it off for us." Kendo answered as she approached. "One of the other classes I heard them saying it had to do with cheating. They had another test yesterday where some students inside communicated to their classmates and gave them tips."

"Five Spots!"

"Four!"

Katara tapped her foot as the speaker rang out each passing student. After a few more calls, the loud siren rang out in the room, everyone going silent as the final announcement was made.

"And that is it! The one hundred students who have qualified are in!"

"Shit! This is too stressful!" Kirishima yelled out and punched his palm. "Why can't they just announce who passed now?!"

Shoto looked down to Katara sitting beside himself, reaching over and patting her shoulder. "I am sure they were among the last ones. Iida is not one to fail."

Taking a breath, Katara nodded. "I know, it would just be better if we actually knew."

Pulling his hand away, Shoto couldn't deny he felt the same way. He had the same feeling of concern when he didn't know if Katara had been eliminated or not, and that was early on. Now that the final contestants had been chosen, it was worrisome not knowing what happened. As he looked around the room again, however, his thoughts turned sour as he was met with a glare once more. It seemed whenever he and Yoarashi looked at one another, they were timing each other perfectly to lock eyes instantly. It was something that began to eat at Shoto more and more.

'He's been looking at me like that the entire time. What is his deal?' Shoto said internally, thinking back to what Katara told him earlier. He hated his dad for some reason, and seemingly was taking his frustration out on him as well. Huffing out, he turned and stood up with the others, all of them growing concerned with the outcome of the test.

And then, six familiar faces came through the door together.

"Tenya!" Katara yelled out in relief as she saw him leading the group, his smile stretching ear to ear as she ran up to them all. " I was growing worried when I didn't see any of you!"

"Apologies Katara, but Aoyama and I were pinned down until the others came to our assistance!" Tenya spun around and gave a deep bow to Mina and the others. "Thank you all for your support!"

Snickering, Mina clasped her hands behind her head. "We should be thanking you two. Aoyama's belly laser led us all to you. It was the perfect distraction to get everyone else."

"It ended up working to our benefit," Tokoyami added, "The other schools were all focused on the bright light from Aoyama that they were caught off when we came as well."

"Hell yeah. Tokoyami came in and kicked all their asses." Mina laughed out, making the bird teen sigh and smile.

"It was all of us working together that let us pass." Tokoyami retorted.

"It was our class spirit that brought us all together out there!" Tenya announced with a chop. "We have conquered the challenge and passed together!"

"Well I'm really happy to see all of you pass." Katara happily responded as she looked to everyone else, seeing Toru's gloves bouncing in excitement as she spoke to Uraraka, Aoyama getting a back on his back from Tsu making him blush. And Mineta… well, could be doing better if it weren't for his bloodshot eyes and his body nearly collapsing. "Is he okay?"

"I think he may have overdid his quirk a bit." Mina shrugged. "You see if he needs any help."

"Oh yes…" Mineta wheezed out between pants, his drained face still finding the ability to blush. "K-Katara's wet hands rubbing over my body. I have only dreamed when this could finally-

"I think he's fine." Katara hissed out at the comment before she turned away. "At least this part of this is over, and all of us have made it here. Now and… Uh…" her words went silent as she saw Izuku and Momo walking towards them, noticing the sweat dripping down his forehead. "You okay?"

Momo took a breath and nodded. "It's… it's fine. I may have… overreacted on him a little about something."

"A little?" Izuku frowned and looked up to her, making her blush in embarrassment. "But it's fine. We-

"No, I'm sorry." I shouldn't have assumed-

"Attention finalists; now that you are all here, you have ten minutes to recoup for those who finished last. But as you all rest, just be ready as It's time to move on to the actual license exam."

The loud announcement throughout the room cut off her words at the perfect time to cut the tension, noticing the large screen to the side turning on suddenly and displaying the arena they all just left. Katara along with the rest of the class focused in curiously as the monitor just showed the buildings in frame, but gasped as several explosions rocked the skyscrapers causing them to crumble. "What's happening?!"

"Is… is this an attack?!" Tenya asked in worry. Then, his eyes went wide as he saw a bloodied person climb out through the rubble. "What? There are people out there?!"

"A Major disaster has struck the city. Multiple structures have been damaged and have left many victims trapped in the area. You're job is to perform rescue operations and administer aid to the victims since paramedics can't get there for some time."

"Victims?" Izuku stared closer to the screen as he noticed one of the people on screen suddenly wiped blood across his forehead before sitting down against a wall. "This is… it's all the test here?"

"The victims you will be rescuing are part of the "Help us community". All of them have licenses of their own and are experts on rescue situations. All of you will be graded on how you perform your duties as heroes in the allotted time limit. Those who have the required amount of points by the end will pass."

Momo's mind immediately began piecing it all together as the intercoms shut off, seeing the situation unfold in front of them. "We have to work in a dangerous environment to locate the survivors and get them to safety. They are making this as real as possible for us."

While still surprised at the turn of events, Katara nodded and popped her wrists. "If this is what we have to do, then let's do this."

Shoto sat silent as he watched the screen, seeing the smoke rising from the destroyed buildings. He saw this was now going to be about testing their reactions to emergencies, thinking back to the car situation with Katara in Hosu. They would have to be calm and know what was wrong with the victim and assess the situation they were dealing with. He then noticed Yoarashi walking by, his mind going back to what Katara told him earlier. He was confused about what was going on, and wanted to figure it out to clear the air.

Katara looked over as she noticed Shoto walk away, her eyes widening slightly when she saw him walking towards the tall teen. "Shoto, what are you doing?" She asked in concern.

"I want to know what is going on." Shoto answered as he continued, making Katara frown.

"Just don't worry about it, we can-

"I just need to know what is bothering him," He quickly said as he approached Yoarashi, needing to know what was happening. "Hey, you from Shiketsu." Shoto came to a stop behind the opposing student, looking up in confusion. "My friend said you have some grievances with me. Have… I offended you in some way?"

The air suddenly grew tense as Yoarashi turned and glared down at Shoto, his normally happy face filled with anger. "Oh I'm sorry. Did I hurt your feelings or something?" he hissed out. "I'm surprised you even noticed anything other than yourself?"

Shoto was caught off guard from the response he received, not expecting anything like that. "What's your problem? I don't understand."

"Well understand this, Son of endeavor…" Yoarashi growled out, the words causing Shoto's breath to quicken. "I can't help but hate both of you."

"Hey," Katara snapped and walked up next to Shoto. "He didn't do anything to you, so why are you talking to him like this?"

Yoarashi stared at the waterbender for a moment before frowning once more. "You may see him differently than I do, then." he looked back towards Shoto, specifically his left, blue eye. Immediately his mind flashed back to the eyes of Endeavor, making his blood boil once again. "I can tell something has changed in you a bit since we last met, but not everything. You still have your fathers eyes."

That statement caused Shoto's heart to jump, his own memories of his father rising up at the mention of it. Katara clenched her fists and stood directly in front of the accusing teen. "He is nothing like him. If you think that, then you don't know anything about him."

"Hmph," Yoarashi grumbled and walked away from them, "No one ever fully changes. Even if they try, they always have those demons inside them."

Both Katara and Shoto stared as he walked away, both confused as to what he was trying to get at. Katara turned to rub his arm, feeling his body slightly shake in frustration at what he heard. "Don't listen to what he says. He doesn't know you, Shoto."

Taking a breath, Shoto forced himself to nod and look over to her. "Let's just move onto this test and be done with this."

Nodding in agreement, Katara pulled him back towards their class, hoping this final test would take the stress out of what they felt.

"You didn't even check if I was too injured to move! Minus points!"

"What?!" A blue haired girl gasped as one of the people she tried to pick up yelled at her, stepping back in surprise. "I… I just thought that you had-

"My leg was trapped under rubble. It could have been broken and you were just going to hoist me up without checking." the older man scolded her, making the teen panic and shake her head.

"Uh… Oh… Okay then. Then… I should probably go and talk to someone else and-

"You're panicking over nothing! Minus points!"

"What?!" The girl screamed out in fear as she heard that again, her confusion and her nerves building up too much to make her think.

"Watch out, I can take him." Katara demanded as she ran by the stressed out teen. Kneeling down, she put on a smile as she faced the pretend victim. "We are here to help. How's your leg feeling?"

"It feels kind of weird. I can't tell if it's broken or not." the man fake cried as the waterbender looked at his leg.

While she could tell it was obviously not broken, Katara nodded and bended out a large sphere of water. "It's probably too risky to try and make you walk. I'll carry you out of here." She then turned to the panicked girl behind her. "Go to the safety zone and tell them we have another person coming in. possible broken leg."

"Uh… Okay." The girl quickly nodded and ran off in the other direction, with katara turning her attention back to the victim.

"Here we go, nice and easy now." She calmly said as she guided the water around the actor's body, enveloping him and carefully lifting him off the ground. "Let's get you out of here."

As she began running through the destroyed zone carrying the man, he couldn't help but grin at her action. 'Staying calm and taking the initiative when another student was panicking. This girl's got a level head when dealing with this. Good.' He thought to himself as he looked down to the water around his body. 'Good control as well with her quirk. There's water all around me, but I can't feel pressure. Perfect for not harming injuries.'

While the examiner assumed she just had good instincts, Katara simply acted as she always knew how to. For her, knowing these people weren't actually in trouble made only that much easier for her. She had dealt with many situations of people needing help, and this was not any crazier for her now. She glanced around as some of her classmates were going to work themselves, moving rubble as they found person after person needing help getting out of the wreckage.

'They really made this feel real.' Katara said in her head.

When the test started, she was certainly surprised along with her friends when they realized the fake victims were the ones grading them, a supposed child yelling at Izuku for not asking important questions of his condition. Realizing they had to act like this was real, Katara went right to it and found the next person needing help, immediately "healing" the head injury they had before helping them to the safety area being ran by some of the other students who qualified.

While at first seemed odd when she ran into a few of the students who tried attacking them in the last round, Katara put it aside knowing it was simply a competition, with Yo Shindo offering his aid to break apart rubble trapping someone else. It didn't take long for her to realize it was also about

Now six minutes into the license test, she was running her third person to safety, seeing the white flags set up with multiple other students giving aid to those already there. "I have another one here! His leg may be broken."

"Put him in the group to the left. We can treat him in a moment." A girl from Shiketsu High told her.

Nodding, katara guided the water down and set the man down, pulling the water away and back into her canteen. Normally she would have offered to sit and heal them, bit knowing they were not hurt she figured to move on to others in the city. Running back out to the city, she saw Shoto kneeling over beside a crumbled wall. "Hey! Is there someone under there?"

"There are two kids who got caught underneath. I can't get to them without risking the rest of the blocks to fall onto them." He said as she approached.

Leaning down, Katara peeked underneath the rubble and saw two figures hunkered under the large wall. The kids (obvious adults dressed as kids) were coughing as they cried out for help.

"We're stuck! Help us!"

"Don't worry, we'll get you out of there!"Katara told them as she stood back, her mind trying to figure out a way to get them out. She knew if they weren't careful if they tried to lift this up, the wall could break apart on top of them. The only way to get it off in time was to freeze it all. "Shoto, can you make a large amount of ice for me to use?"

"Huh? For what?" he asked her.

"I'm going to use it to funnel water into the void. I have to get enough to push the wall up and give them space to get out. As soon as it gets up, I need you to freeze the whole thing, alright?"

Realizing what she meant, Shoto gave a quick nod and pressed his right foot down, forming an ice block around the size of a car. Waving her hands, Katara shifted it into water and guided the stream down into the space where the two victims were. More and more flowed in until nearly the entire area was filled. Taking a breath, she swung her right hand upward forcing the water to expand out, the force pushing against the debris and lifting the crumbling wall upward. After a few seconds there was enough room to crawl through now, just as the force began straining on the concrete. "Shoto, now!"

Swiping his arm into her water, all of the ice froze instantly, along with his ice racing out and encasing all of the stone as well. Huffing out, Katara leaned down and smiled at the two underneath. "Alright, let's get out of here."

Glancing around, one of the "victims" observed the action in surprise. 'Since the wall was partially unstable, they used a joint move to lift up the cement but then freeze it before it could drop down onto us. That is a useful strategy…' The man then glared as he crawled up. "That still could've dropped on us if you didn't react in time with the freeze! Minus points!"

"Oh come on!" Katara threw her hands up in annoyance as Shoto frowned.

Across the testing site, Bakugo, Kirishima and Kaminari walk through the area as they hear pleas over a small hill. "Hey, we got some people over here!" Kirishima yelled as he ran ahead up the embankment. "We got two people down there, come on!"

Making his way up, Bakugo sneers as he sees the pair of middle aged civilians crying out clutching their arms. "The hell's wrong with them?" he grumbled out.

"Help! We fell down after the explosions earlier and my arm feels funny!" The man cried out and squeezed his right arm. "Help us!"

"We don't know where is safe in the city!" the woman whined as she fake cried, grabbing her shoulder as she wept.

"Don't worry, we got you guys!" Kaminari answered as he walked over the edge towards them, but stopped when Bakuo leaped ahead and landed in front of the pair. Unbeknownst to him, the explosion user had many more things he wanted to say.

As Bakugo stared at the two before him, he was near about ready to simply to blast them over the ravine they were by and make them hurt. To him it was stupid enough doing this fake acting stuff and pretending they were hurt, but now he had two people crying over nothing. His eye twitched as he looked at the confused adults, their "injuries" only being a few fake scuffs on their shirts and face. Their legs were completely untouched, meaning they could have simply walked out on their own. He was ready to tell them to shove it and get their own asses out of here… except for a single voice in his head.

'You have quite the tongue, and that is something that I respect about you, Bakugo,' Edgeshot's voice rang inside, thinking back to one of the last nights he spent at his internship. 'You speak what's on your mind, and that means you are honest with your thoughts. That being said… there are times when you speak what you want to say… but then there are times you should simply shut your mouth and get on to your next task.'

Grinding his teeth in rage at keeping his words to himself, Bakugo grabbed the man by the shirt and pulled him after himself. "Get your asses moving! You can walk, so move those damn feet and follow me!"

"Uhhh…" the man was at a loss for words as he was pulled up the hill, leaning over to the woman next to him as they walked. "Did he recognize he are low priority victims and could walk ourselves without being carried?" He whispered.

"Maybe," She responded with a confused shrug. "He isn't being the most friendly about it, but he is guiding us. Do we… minus points for that?"

"I don't wanna do it, look at that face," the man whined, "I mean he technically is doing the right thing."

As the two whispered in confusion as to what to do, Bakugo's forehead vein pulsed in frustration as he tugged the man's shirt behind him. 'GOD DAMN IT! IF I HAVE TO RESCUE THESE USELESS BASTARDS WHO COULD HAVE WALKED THERE ASSES OUT OF HERE, I HAD BETTER GET THAT DAMN LICENSE!'

Helping the kids she and Shoto freed down the pathway to the safety zone, Katara noticed Izuku arriving as well with a child in his arms. As he set his own down, he noticed his friend coming towards him. "Katara! You have two more?"

"Yeah, they were trapped in rubble but they aren't injured. I checked for anything internal and they are okay." She said and led them to the check in line. "Any other areas we need to check?

BOOOOM!

Both of them gasped when a large explosion rocked the arena nearby, turning to see dozens of men in black outfits running through a hole in the wall. "What's going on?!" Katara asked in confusion.

"I don't know! Was this planned?!" he retorted.

"Attention everyone. Villains have attacked your rescue site. Your task now is to react to them and keep the civilians safe."

"That was…" Izuku listened to the intercom's announcement, realizing this was part of the test as well. He then looked back to the side and felt his jaw drop in shock to what he saw. "Wh-what? He is here?!"

"Who?" Katara turned and was surprised as well, immediately locking onto the massive figure in the center. She recognized the black skin covering the hero's face and back, the large dorsal fin rising above their thick whale head. She remembered seeing him from Kamino that night as well, one of the heroes who came to the warehouse against All for One.

The number ten hero, Gang Orca.

"They brought in a top ten hero for us to face?!" Izuku sweated as the hulking hero walked in their direction, the whale hero taller than the hulking villain muscular. "What are they trying to put us through now?!"

Suddenly, Katara's eyes widened as the army of villains that followed in the whale hero charged right at the group of civilians. "Watch out! Here they come!" She yelled and opened her gauntlets, unleashing her streams of water out and launching it forward at the first few goons. As she smacked them back, several of the others lifted their weapons up, shooting off cement glue bullets at the waterbender. Whipping one of her streams up, she blocked the wave of bullets and swung her other arm, forming a water shield as two more men shot from the side.

"Katara be careful!" Izuku warned her when Shindo suddenly ran by him. "Hey what are you-

"Help with the others evacuating the civilians!" Shindo shouted as he ran forward. "I can help keep them back!"

Katara spun her body around and shot forth several ice spikes pinning another pair of goons running forward, yelping as she ducked just in time to avoid the cement connecting with her head. "There's so many of them," Katara growled as she saw another thirty men come through the arena opening and swarm around Orca, the large man staying back as his men went first.

"Get back!"

"Huh?" Katara turned to see Shindo running in her direction, his hands ready to strike the ground. Knowing exactly what he was going to do, she quickly dropped the water onto the ground and skated back behind the black haired teen, his hands slamming into the ground unleashing a powerful earthquake outwards knocking over the first wave of villains. She wobbled herself a few times from the powerful force, but could only gasp as the main threat rushed through like nothing. "Look out!"

Before Shindo could even see, Gang Orca was directly in front of him in blinding speed. "You think something like that will stop me?!" Orca growled out as he tilted his head forward, unleashing a powerful sonar blast ripping through the air and colliding into Shindo, the teen gasping out as he felt his body lock up from the immense force hitting him. Even Katara further back gasped as she felt the hypersonic wave pierce her ears, clamping her hands over them as she struggled to stop the ringing she felt. Even her vision seemed fuzzy from the attack, taking a moment to realize she was now the only one up as Shindo was out on the ground.

"So, we have the troublemaker from Kamino here as well?" Orca snickered as he recognized Katara further back. "You should know the dangers of facing a villain head on. Will you run for aid, or stand and fight?"

Katara swallowed the lump in her throat as she flipped her canteen open, summoning all of the water she had and launched it forward at the man. To her fear he didn't even try and move, instead unleashing a powerful sonar wave and obliterating her water wave into millions of droplets flying out from his body. She waved her arms quickly controlling the now thick mist floating around his body, encircling him from behind and engulfing him before squeezing her fists and freezing it instantly. In a few seconds, ice crawled down the dorsal fin and soon enveloped all of him in a thick layer of ice. Unfortunately, she didn't even have time to lower her arms before he simply flexed his muscles and broke out of the ice.

"Please, do you think ice does anything to an orca?" the hero chuckled and cracked his clawed hands. "My species thrive in the cold. Someone in school should have remembered that."

Katara yelped as the whale headed man launched himself right at her, his fist crashing into the ground where she just rolled from shattering the stone. "He's so fast!" She yelled as she quickly gathered her water up, shocked to see he had obliterated nearly half of it with his attacks already. She then noticed she was surrounded on all sides by his men, their weapons all pointed right at her.

"Brave of you to try and hold us up for the others to escape, but now you've left yourself open for attack." Gang Orca scolded her, watching as she formed a ring of water around her body. "And now your friends will have to face me."

Gritting her teeth, Katara formed her octopus defense as his men began shooting their weapons at her, blocking the incoming shots with her tentacles. With so many now and not enough water, looked over in vain as the top hero began marching towards the fleeing civilians. "No! Don't-

"Smash!"

Izuku shot through the air with his leg swinging through, knocking down several of the men surrounding Katara, flipping up and kicking another into the charging group. "Katara, go!"

Seeing her chance, Katara quickly shot some of her water tentacles out, grabbing two of the men and freezing them in place before skating across the ground through the opening Izuku made for her. "Thanks for that! What are we going to do about him, though?" he yelled out, staring down the whale hero.

"As long as we keep him away from the others while they escape, that's what's important!" he answered and kicked off the ground right at the pro, charging his leg and whipping it forward. "Smash!"

The loud crack of Izuku's leg colliding with Gang Orca's blocking hands rang out in the area, the impact sending a small wave of air outward. The one for all user gasped in shock however as the dust cleared, seeing his 10% smash barely moved the pro hero more than a foot back.

"You've got strength, but not enough weight behind it," Gang Orca's clawed hand gripped Izuku's leg and lifted him above his head. "You have a lot to learn before jumping into fights!"

"Midoriya!" Katara screamed as she watched him thrown through the air like a ragdoll, whipping her water out and catching him by the waist and pulling him to the ground safely. "You alright?"

"We gotta do something about him!" Izuku huffed out as the water retracted from his body. "If we can't stop them, the others have no chance of keeping him from reaching the civilians!"

As if their call was answered, a flurry of ice charged right towards the pro hero, forcing Gang Orca to unleash his sonar attack, shattering the incoming ice. Knowing exactly who could have created that, Katara smiled as she turned to see Shoto standing there, his face filled with worry. "Shoto!"

"I saw the explosion from where we were earlier. Are you both alright?" He yelled out as he stopped his attack.

"We're fine. But you have to keep him from reaching the others!"

Turning to see the fleeing students and civilian members, Shoto nodded to himself and reached down with his right hand to the ground. Immediately he formed a massive ice wall blocking access to the others and keeping the incoming villains here. He then turned to see Gang Orca looking his way. "I never expected to see someone like this facing us." he stated as he readied his right hand once more.

Katara sighed in relief seeing one of their problems quickly solved, now turning to see Shindo still on the ground not moving. "I need to get to him, he needs help!" She shouted to Izuku as she ran forward, enshrouding her shoulders in water.

"I'll watch your back!" Izuku declared, activating his full cowling and launching through the area knocking down more of the attackers.

Skating past some of the would-be attackers, Katara reached Shindo and dropped to his side, seeing his eyes were open but completely unfocused. "It's like he's in a comatose state," She said in disbelief, not expecting the hero to actually injure one of the examinees like this. Gathering water on her hands, she brought them down to the sides of his head and began healing his mind, sensing his motor skills completely in shambles from the hit he took. After a few moments she heard him groan, followed by his hands twitching by his sides.

"Ugh…" He grumbled as his eyes focused on her above him. "What the hell…"

"You alright?" She asked as he slowly sat up, "You were out pretty bad right there."

"I'm good now…" He groaned and grabbed the side of his head as he huffed in and out. "I deal with being rattled from my quirk, but that one was big.'' suddenly, the wind around both of them picked up, Shindo's eyes trying to focus in on the change. "What's going on now?"

Katara noticed it as well, looking up to feel her eyes open wide in disbelief to who it was… and what he was doing. "That… it… it looks like…"

Floating in the air above the area was Yoarashi, the wind circulating around him like a tornado as he thrust his hand down, whipping through the area and taking out more of the incoming grunts. Katara however stared at the teen in the sky, the flowing air circling around his body reminding her of her past, making her lose all sense for a moment before she realized what she was doing. She took several breaths as she shook her head, looking back once more realizing where she was before noticing the next problem.

Both Yoarashi and Shoto were glaring at each other.

"What are you doing here?! Trying to show off on your own?!" Yoarashi growled out from above, causing Shoto to frown and look forward.

"I'm here helping my friends. We can handle this guy. You should go and help with the evacuations."

While Shoto was simply trying to avoid conflict, Yoarashi took it as an order from someone thinking he was better than him, only making his blood boil. "You trying to make yourself look good? Just because your father is number one, don't think you're better than everyone else!"

There it was again, that comparison that made Shoto furious. "What is your deal and comparing me to him?" he stomped on the ground once more, unleashing a large ice wall right at the pro, only to watch it shatter from another sonar wave. Hissing out, his left hand ignited as he saw ice had no effect on him.

"You both seem eager to fight. Let's see if that's good or bad for you now." Gang Orca taunted them, causing both of them to unleash their attacks directly at him… only to his surprise as neither of them hit him.

Shoto's flames and Yoarashi's wind mixed together sent both attacks careening in random directions.

"Hey! You used your flames on purpose to mess my attack up!" Yoarashi accused him, "Heat makes wind rise!"

"I had to use my flames against him. Your wind is what messed me up," Shoto growled back. "Just go and help the others and let me handle this and stay out of my way."

Yoarashi's forehead vein pulsed in fury when he heard those last five words, remembering hearing those the last time as well. "You really haven't changed at all I see, son of Endeavor."

Clenching his fist in rage to the statement again, Shoto glared up to the wind user in the sky, "What the hell is your deal and me? My old man has nothing to do with this."

"Shoto, just forget him," Katara yelled out as she helped Shindo up, glaring up at Yoarashi next. "Both of you shut up and-

"Oh, do you think just because you made a couple friends that you're any different from Endeavor?" Yoarashi snapped out, completely ignoring Katara. "You are nothing but a copy of him!"

Clenching his teeth, Shoto's mind became flooded with images of his father once more, seeing that man which he had tried distancing from. He then saw images of his siblings terrified faces, and his crying mother all due to him, the thoughts making his heart ache in anger and rage. "I told you… I'm nothing like that bastard…"

"This is ridiculous… in the middle of a battle and you two are squabbling like a married couple." Gang Orca growled in frustration, having been so confused by the act he forgot his role for a moment. He slammed his fist into the ground and picked up a large boulder, "You have so much more to grow before you face a real villain!"

Yoarashi yelped as he flew through the sky dodging the large boulder, unleashing his galeforce wind at the hero once more, only to have Shoto's hot flames redirect his attack. "Damn you! You are in the way again!"

"Your wind is messing up my fire!" Shoto hissed out in anger, failing to keep himself calm as he now couldn't get his father out of his head. Just get the hell out of here and quit screwing up my attacks!"

Katara sat in disbelief at what she was seeing. Shoto was beyond flustered now, and not from being unable to accomplish what he was trying. No, he was pissed internally, whatever this Yoarashi was doing was making him enraged and unfocused. "Shoto, please stop! We have to focus on this now! You can deal with him later!" She shouted as she shot her water whip out, encircling Gang Orca's arm and yanking it back, only for him to break through her water like nothing. He in fact wasn't even looking at her when she attempted that, keeping his focus on the arguing teens, his easiest targets. "Shoto!"

Katara's voice did reach his ears, but Shoto's mind was too messed up to think properly. He had tried so hard to change, to be his own person and different from the horrid man who made him. He had thought he had moved past his frustration, but now all of his anger was coming back inside himself, ready to shoot another column of fire out and at Gang Orca. "I'm not my damn father!"

Yoarashi normally could listen to a person despite his hyperactive personality. But right now, all he could see was red. He remembered growing up, thinking every hero had to show guts and excitement. There came the day when he watched Endeavor take down a gang of villains, so happy to run up and get the flame hero's autograph… only for his hand to be smacked away by the man.

"Stay out of my way."

Those were the words Yoarashi heard from Endeavor's mouth, the young kid terrified by the look of pure rage behind the man's eyes. But despite that, he knew not all people were like that, so ready to try out for UA when the time came. He ended up testing against Shoto, and while he knew he was Endeavor's son, he gave him the benefit of the doubt and tried to be friendly with him.

Only for Shoto to blow him off completely.

"Just shut up. I didn't try to compete against you, I'm just passing this damn test. Just stay out of my way."

More than the harsh words he heard, Yoarashi was taken back by the look of anger that filled Shoto's gaze. The exact same look of anger and rage that controlled his father. He refused to go to a school with someone so cold and hateful, disgusted by the Todoroki's and their hateful eyes. His temper has unconsciously made his quirk grow stronger as he floated there.

The flames engulfed the large whale hero, but the nearby wind from Yoarashi was making it hard to control and stay in place. Suddenly, a stronger gust broke the stream away from it's target, both boys eyes going wide as the flames headed straight towards Katara and Shindo. "Katara!"

"Hey , watch out!" Yoarashi yelled in worry.

Katara whipped her arms up bending the water around both her and Shindo, freezing it just in time as the flames rushed by them. She in fact wasn't worried about the flames in terms of her safety, no. Katara was feeling something far different than that as she removed the ice barrier once the flames subsided.

She was pissed.

"What the hell is the matter with both of you?!" She screamed out in anger, ready to shoot her water at both of them for their stupidity.

"It's all the son of Endeavor's fault!" Yoarashi yelled.

"Katara, You know I wasn't trying to-

"Just shut up! both of you!" She snapped out, even her feelings for Shoto failing from wanting her to simply hold him under water for sometime to clear his head. Before she could, however, the black blur rushing towards Shoto made her eyes go wide. "Look out!"

Before he could even register him moving, Shoto gasped out as Gang Orca's powerful clawed hand grasped his throat and lifted him off the ground. "So disappointing to see emotions take control on the battlefield," He growled out and whipped his head toward the sky. "You cost yourselves victory!"

The sonar waves shot through the air and struck Yoarashi like a locomotive, the teen screaming out as his body froze up from the attack and collapsed down to the ground. Gang orca then turned his attention to the struggling Shoto in his grip. "You reap what you sow."

Shoto couldn't even breathe as the sonar wave at point blank rocked his entire core, locking every muscle in place as his eyes nearly rolled over white in shock.

"Shoto!" Katara screamed as she watched him slump to the ground, his body stiff as a board beneath the villainous looking man. "No…"

"This is bad!" Izuku yelled as he saw what just happened, dodging more of the cement shots blasting his way. He looked over and saw nearly fifty of the henchmen around, far too many to take out alone. "This is really bad!

"Damn, those idiots!" Shindo growled out and slammed his hands into the ground, the powerful shockwave rushing out and shattering the earth all around and launching the dozens of henchmen into the air. While they all struggled, Gang Orca used the destroyed ground to his advantage, picking up a chunk of broken earth and launching it their way.

"Smash!"

Izuku came flying through the air shattering the boulder, landing in front of both Katara and Shindo. "I can't keep all the henchmen away myself. There are too many!"

"Well we are stuck with this guy!" Shindo growled out as Gang Orca stared at them, seeing they were the only ones left to face him now.

"No…" Katara clenched her fists and stepped forward, angered at what Shoto had got himself into, but more furious seeing him on the ground like that. "I can keep him busy for now. Just keep those guys off me."

"What? You can't take him on alone. Your quirk doesn't work well against him." Izuku warned her.

"It's the only chance we got. Just stay back." She demanded, seeing a hesitant nod from both boys as they took off to the army behind. Taking a deep breath and focusing on the large ice wall behind Gang Orca now. Using all her energy, she sweated as she shifted half of the ten meter tall ice wall into water, the large surge of water rushing across the ground and sweeping out all the minions that direction. As the water rushed by Gang Orca, he raised his eyebrow in surprise at her choice.

"Water? Child, have you not learned what I am?" He sarcastically asked. He watched as the water pulled both Shoto and Yoarashi to the side, choosing to leave them to focus on the girl before him.

"I know what you are, but I know there must be limits to what even you can do!" She yelled out as she raised herself up on top of a wake, rushing to the side as she waved her arms gathering the water all around creating a surging pool of water engulfing the whale hero. She knew he was an animal style user, and even animals can struggle in rough conditions. If she created a current too strong to just swim through, she could possibly tire him out and hold him off until the time ran out any minute.

What she didn't expect was the dorsal fin ripping through the surface beside her instantaneously. "What the?!" the yelped out in shock as he burst through the surface behind her so fast, she couldn't even sense him rush through her water.

"Anything a whale can swim through, I can swim even faster. You thought my quirk was strong on land? It's nothing compared to me in the water." Gang Orca warned her. "This is my domain."

Katara quickly skimmed across the surface away from him, looking back as he dove back into the water after her. He cut through the water like a bullet, her churning currents underneath doing nothing to even slow him down in the slightest. Even as she froze the water as she flew across the top, he shattered through her ice with his head like it was nothing. While she knew he may have been a little faster in water, she never expected him to be like this.

"He's faster than any animal!" She yelled in frustration as she spun backwards and crossed her arms, creating a crushing mass of water to force itself in the center where he was currently. It held him only for a split second before a powerful sonar wave blasted outward, the water in fact allowing it to travel faster and stronger than in air. The force ruptured the water out with such force it threw Katara off Balance, having to catch herself before glaring and yelling out, slamming her hands into the water freezing it outward, the rushing ice raced through the water, freezing Gang Orca in place until it covered the entire pool of water.

After a moment, a high pitched rumble exploded out from the whale hero, his sonic wave shattering the ice prison and throwing Katara backward. She panted as she crawled back up, amazed to see Gang Orca standing there, looking as rested as when he came in. "I must say, most other heroes may actually have a challenge with you. However, quirk matchups can win or lose any fight. And mine trumps yours." he casually explained.

"Then how about this?!"

The bright flames rushed through the clearing engulfing the whale hero, the intense heat making Katara's lungs sting. "What?!" She gasped out in shock, turning to see the fire coming from Shoto's still body. "Shoto?!" She shouted in surprise, his face filled with pain and frustration as he laid prone to the ground. What threw her off was the direction the fire was coming from, watching them whip in a sweeping pattern across the clearing and swirl up into the vortex around the whale hero. She knew even he didn't have that good of control, before she realized he wasn't doing that.

The swirling wind rushing from Yoarashi's still form was the answer, both teens frozen in place but using their powers to create the flame twister. The heat grew more intense with each passing second, having to step back to cover her face.

"I'm sorry…"

Katara heard the faint word from the side, opening her eyes to see Shoto looking straight at her from his spot. Even from where she was, Katara could see the pain in his face from his mistake, knowing it was not from the paralysis he was experiencing. "Shoto…"

"I'm… sorry I screwed up. I almost hurt you again," He grunted out, sweat dripping down his face from the strain. "I messed up…. But let me help you now!"

The fire expanded even further, rising into the sky as Gang Orca was caught in the center of it. "Not bad… Using the flames and wind in tandem together is good," He chuckled as stared them down through the flames, pulling a water bottle from his jacket and pouring it over his head. "Many would give up from this, but what happens when a villain doesn't?!" Suddenly, the fire exploded outward from the center, his sonar wave obliterating the tornado instantly. His tooth filled mouth opened in both excitement and anger as the water sizzled off his blubbery skin. "Come on, show me what you are willing to do!"

Right then, the loud alarm rang through the arena, causing everyone to freeze in place. Katara looked up in confusion to the sudden bell before the speakers kicked on once more.

"That is the end of the test. Everyone, that concludes the license exam."

Panting, Katara dropped her hands to her knees as she took several deep breaths, realizing how long those last few minutes were for her. She then sapped her eyes open, looking over towards Shoto still on the ground. Running over to him, she knelt on the ground and placed a hand on his shoulder. "We made it. We are done with it now." She tried saying positively, trying to move past what happened earlier.

Shoto however didn't answer, simply laying his face against the ground in shame to what had happened.

Over the next thirty minutes, all of the examinees went to the locker rooms to change back to their school uniforms and to be treated for any injuries they had left. While many chatted in excitement to being done with the test, many sat in silence and worry about the results of the test. With how strict they were just getting to the test, many were frightened that the license portion itself was going to be as difficult.

As they all gathered in the arena once more to see the results, Katara had remained silent pretty much the whole time. A few times the others asked her what happened in the end, but she was too flustered with the events that took place between Shoto and Yoarashi. She saw a look on Shoto's face she hadn't seen since before the festival, a look of pain and anger that truly made her worried for him. She saw him amongst their classmates who had already gathered, the two not having spoken since he was taken to medical. While she was happy to see him up, she was more concerned to his well being now, for sure to talk to him later tonight alone.

"Alright kids, now that we are done, here are the results," Yokumiru explained from his podium seat. "Here is the list of those who ended up with enough points to pass the exam. If your name is up here, you will receive your license today."

The large screen lit up with dozens upon dozens of names. Immediately, people began cheering when they saw they had passed, the amount of cheers growing with every second.

"Woohoo! Oh yeah, we did it!" Mina whistled in glee.

"Hell yeah! Check it out!" Sero sighed out when he saw his name.

"I never had any doubt!" Mineta chuckled as he brushed his shoulder.

"Hell yeah, dude! We did it!" Kirishima laughed as he threw an arm over Bakugo's shoulder, the ash blonde staying silent as he read down to the B' names, taking a breath when he saw a certain name.

Katsuki Bakugo.

While normally he would've cheered, he couldn't help from grinding his teeth, slipping his hands in his pockets and looking away. "Stupid test. I Should've been there fighting those damn villains!"

"Katara, we did it! We have passed this!" Tenya announced in glee as he saw his name, patting Katara on the shoulder as she found the spot she was looking for.

Kairi Katara.

Sighing out, Katara felt so much better seeing her name there, realizing she finally had her license to actually help when she wanted. "I was actually a little scared for a moment." She chuckled and gave a hug to the giddy Tenya and then turned to share her excitement with Shoto… but the look on his face was not of happiness. It was… Disappointment. She turned and looked back to the screen and realized what was wrong, feeling her own stomach drop at the sight.

Everyone from class 1-A had passed the license exam. Everyone except for Shoto.

Notes: OHHH got a few changes here! Bakugo passed?! Hmmm... what will come of this now?

Now let me say, as i wrote this, i really didn't like these last few chapters. I have just never cared for the license exam, which perhaps why i feel these last couple were lacking in the usual energy i have. but now we are through it all, and i can't wait to show you what i got planned.

In case you didn't see, there's a new Katara and Mina artwork on my deviantart now. go check it out through the link on my profile!

please leave your comments/ reviews, i love seeing fan reactions more than anything. Till next time!
