Hello to all, this is Episode 8 of the first Arc of Volume 5: Colorful Huntresses and Uncolored Enemies!
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 5: Episode 8: The Birthday Wish and the Surprising Encounter!
In the previous episode of DKR:
Heartwarming, Jonouchi finally spoke up to Yugi about Kojan but most of all the bonds they've made with trust in each other, using the shown but not seen words. Yugi, staggered a bit, realized his mistake; if he wishes to find out what has happened to Kojan, he has to figure it out his own way while worrying for the friends who need him. He understood his mistake and accepted it, thanking his precious friend while Jonouchi tried not to cry about it.
In that moment, finally focus on the others, Yugi sensed them in trouble and immediately goes Burst Limit, taking Jonouchi and Jenny where the others are. He dropped them before saving Mew Ichigo and confronting Torchwick and his forces.
After Jonouchi came to the rescue for his hostage friends, Yugi demolished ALL of Torchwick's forces without using full power. Torchwick, actually afraid, ran away with his forces due to Yugi's frightening mercy.
Yugi apologized to Ichigo for letting her down but she forgave him nonetheless; she knew he would come. Of course Yugi was attacked by Ruby just overwhelmed by his incredible superhero intro and saving the day. He sweat dropped blushing while everyone was unaware of Kojan, spying on them, and looked down at them.
What will happen next?
And now the conclusion... last left off in the previous episode:
Breathing heavily, Roman sits on a box with his hat place over Neo's head. He smokes through his cigar, not expecting that random guy just BEATING all of his remaining forces like it was nothing?! NOTHING. He throws his cigar and shouts demanding out of rage. ''W-WHO THE HELL WAS THAT?!''
Each White Fang couldn't answer him that. They will admit the child move so fast like their actual leader.
''We had one job! And you people couldn't beat ONE KID!'' Torchwick yells out furious, threatening them intense. ''Just wait when your boss learns of this! AND GET MEDICINE FOR NEO!''
Neo groans coughing. Roman breathes heavily just uttering sitting back on his box. ''A-and let me sit in the corner in peace.''
The men nod obedient going to get to that… until a voice speaks up. ''It seems I came just in time then.''
Roman lifts his head up to see a figure opening the doors to the dock building. Adjusting his coat, Akumu walks in with a smug smirk. Roman sighs not believing this and tells him. ''I'm not in the mood old man. Best you leave before my men kill you.''
''Kill me?'' Akumu questions as he raises an eyebrow. Just then a large White Fang lands in front of him, grinning menacing.
''Yea tiny, kill you.'' He proclaims grinning, wanting to rip someone apart. Akumu eyes up at the male and just smirks at the giant.
''You should show respect for your elders.'' He begins to proclaim as his body shifts and instantly gets consumed by darkness. The White Fang startles by this before suddenly the body of Akumu morphs into a black reptile, winged creature roaring with bright red eyes. Roman drops his jaw speechless by this.
''Meat bag. RRRAAAWWWRRRR!'' Dark Leader Dragon declares letting out a vicious roar sinking his fangs upon the White Fang, only able to get out a scream in terror. ''AAAAWWWWW!''
Everyone else watches speechless what is happening as Roman immediately throws up due to this. The Dark Lord devours and burps eating the White Fang. He licks his lips by the blood and relaxes.
''My apologies. I hate bullies.'' He proclaims with a devilish smirk, introducing himself viciously. ''Greetings strangers of Remnant. You must be the one in charge? I am Dark Leader Dragon, the Dark Lord.''
Roman just blinks taken back by how the hell does this… Grimm-like being knows what they are but he won't protest. He gulps getting up eyeing the dragon, not wanting to get eaten and states. ''R-Roman…''
The Dark Lord lets out a chuckle staring upon him and states eyeing the group. ''I see you need a cup of sugar Roman. And I can give you plenty of sugar. But I need to know everything about you and your group. EVE-RY-THING.''
Roman looks back at his dead guy and gulps not wanting to meet the same fate. He gulps nodding. Hopefully his boss… oh, Cinder will kill him for this.
''Well… I supposed I can share stuff then. But help treat my partner.'' Torchwick accepts as he eyes for Neo's well being. The Dark Lord eyes her and nods, able to understand the desire to care for another.
''Oh…'' The Dark Lord then states asking him smirking. ''How is Salem?''
''Who?'' Roman just questions really confused. The black dragon hums getting the gist of it that he is a lackey unaware of the witch. He chuckles simply proclaiming. ''Nonetheless, this still works for me. Allow my general take your sick friend. I have the means to make her 100- No, 200% better.''
''Your general-'' Torchwick begins to question not following any of this before emerging out from under the Dark Lord's shadow is the large black knight. He gasps out widely seeing him. ''Ah god…''
Dark General Knight eyes down the human and scoffs walking up and picks up Neo in a bridal style.
''You should be grateful, worm.'' The black knight just tells him walking past Roman. He gulps really taken back by this insane place. The Dark Lord notices this and encourages him smirking as he transforms back to Akumu while adjusting his suit. ''Come-come, I won't eat any more heads.''
Roman still unease didn't have a choice as he leads his men to follow. It was better than nothing... or the boss burning him alive.
Yugi and the others have been resting in his home. Ichigo purrs relaxing on Yugi's couch, recovering her wound after Jenny check on it and didn't need to treat it at all.
"You feel better Ichigo-kun?'' The tricolor head asks his girlfriend who responds with a purring smile. ''Yep Nya!''
He smiles of relief, glad he didn't arrive late.
''I'm SO sorry again what I did to you, Ichigo.'' Ruby speaks up apologizing for what had happened before. She still doesn't remember much but it doesn't change how bad she feels.
Ichigo shakes her head and tells her smiling. ''It's okay Ruby-chan! I know you were not meaning to kill me. Besides, we're friends after all Nya.''
Ruby blinks speechless as her eyes widen. She then explodes in tears and shouts hugging her happily. ''THANK YOU!''
The red cherry head giggles hugging her back.
''That and Momomiya has taken plenty of worst hits.'' Jonouchi explains seeing her take much worst blows. Ichigo eyes him humming and accepts the compliment.
Jonouchi then states eyeing the rest of the group. ''Also I wish I came along, I did not expect you guys needed my help. It's like the old saying, old dogs can learn new tricks.''
Ed groans annoyed as did Kurosaki and Naruto while Ryan sweat drops having to agree on the new tricks part even if the concept was used poorly.
''Not bad guy.'' Yang, however, states. Jonouchi smirks giving her a thumb up.
''I'm Yang Xiao Long.'' Yang greets herself to him oddly finding him cool. Jonouchi grins finally getting some praising, greeting her back. ''Katsuya Jonouchi to you!''
Jonouchi turns to Ed and whispers to him. ''I like her!''
Edward, with an annoyed yet worrying expression, rolls his eyes uttering out softly. ''What a surprise.''
''SO-SO!'' Ruby finally speaks up staring with widen big eyes at Yugi who sweat drops. ''Tell us about yourself Yugi!''
''Um nothing much.'' The tricolor head mutters, sweating as the rest of Team RWBY gangs up around him. He sweats more nervously.
''How do you keep your hair like that?'' Weiss asks with such curiosity. Yugi blinks honestly not the weirdest question; he always gets asked that as he responds. ''Natural actually.''
Weiss hums not buying it with Blake asking. ''Are you Goth or?''
''I like the style.'' Yugi once more responds relaxed. Blake hums respecting that with Yang butting in and asking with a grin. ''Hey-hey. We're purple eyes!''
''Neat!'' Yugi just replies with a grin. Yang sweat drops kinda expecting a more exciting respond.
Ruby moves right in front of the tricolor head asking him excitedly. ''Yugi, you actually flew right?!''
''Y-yea.'' Yugi states blushing, not sure why but he likes flying. Ruby giggles then stating even more excited. ''And that sword was so COOL and AWESOME! You easily beaten Torchwick without trying!''
Yugi lets out a few chuckles blushing. Jonouchi actually answers this smirking almost cocky. ''We do kinda face worst threats and try to become stronger than the enemy.''
Almost everyone else of Team Dragon Knight gave the darkened colored blond headed a cold look. Ruby hums questioning it. ''How strong?''
''A LOT.'' Jonouchi answers while the others still glare at him.
''…'' Ruby is left silent. She's always thought that she was strong already as a huntress that the only thing she needed to do was to go to school and then graduate to fulfill her dreams but after what she's seen with Ichigo, Yugi and the others; she's still so far away. If she truly wants to be a huntress her mother would be proud of, she must become more than what others in her world can achieve. Maybe here, she can make it possible.
Looking up at the tricolor head with a different confidence, she asks of him. ''Yugi, I want to join your team!''
Yugi and everyone of Team Dragon Knight stare at the dark red headed before they all let out a shared, shock scream. ''EH?!''
''WHA?!'' Weiss lets out a scream of shock with Blake and Yang both really surprised by Ruby's declaration. Ruby eyes the group and giggles at her friends' faces.
''Hey, I'm still leader of Team RWBY but…'' Ruby begins to explain herself, happy to be the leader of her own team but looks back at Yugi and states. ''I think I can learn in becoming a stronger leader from Yugi and the others.''
Weiss startles to hear that with Blake smiling with Yang patting her sister's back.
"Do what you got to do sis.'' The blonde says with a grin. Ruby blushes nodding. Weiss sighs admitting that these people are strong, best learn a thing or two before they can finally find a way to get back home.
''… We're stuck here so becoming stronger here wouldn't hurt.'' Weiss finally agrees still upset. Blake smiles eyeing Ruby and tells her. ''I think it's a mature move Ruby.''
Ruby blushes warmly before shouting out hugging all of them. ''Ah girls!''
The others watch blushing by this. Ruby then turns to Yugi and asks blushing. ''So…?''
Yugi sweat drops not sure what to say as he eyes Ichigo who nods rapidly. He lets out a sigh making up his mind. ''Since my girlfriend doesn't mind it, we accept you Ruby-kun.''
Ruby widens her eyes and smiles wildly, vowing him happily. ''I won't let you down!''
Ichigo giggles knowing she won't. Ryan eyes Edward and asks chuckling. "So I'm no longer the newbie, right?''
Ed eyes him with a smug smirk and corrects him. ''Not yet, newbie.''
Ryan sighs figuring as much. If he couldn't handle Ruby when she was controlled by the Dark Lord, then he is still the newbie.
''Um by the way Ruby-kun, how do you know I'm the Dragon Knight?'' Yugi then asks recalling what Ruby let out before. Ryan actually agrees asking too. ''Yea, I'm curious too mate.''
Ichigo also nods curious how Ruby knows it. Ruby blinks just realizing it.
''Oh right! I guess-'' She begins to explain but was interrupted by Sugoroku Mutou, Yugi's Grandfather, walking in and asks his grandson almost done with the preparation. ''Yugi my boy, where's your sister. We got to start the party-''
He's stopped to see the new ladies and gets excited, charming them with his wise personality. ''Oh hello ladies!''
Yugi and Jonouchi both sweat drop getting in front of him with the tricolor head calming down his grandfather. ''Oji-chan, calm yourself. She went to get some stuff.''
He then frowns noticing Jenny was taking long.
''Though I hope Nee-san comes back soon.'' He states hoping she comes back soon. Sugoroku forms a smile and comforts his grandson by saying. ''Oh she'll come back soon. She is as wise and smart as me.''
Yugi sweat drops but smiles, admitting that much.
Wonder what Jenny is doing?
Commercial Break:
Yugi: It is always nice to see our group always growing.
Jenny: It is good Yugi snapped out of his worries.
Smiling, Jenny walks out from the supermarket with her Pikachu on her shoulder with bags on each arm. The yellow mouse tickles Jenny on top of her head with his tail, causing her to bark joyfully. She can't help but love getting scratch on top of her head. It felt so good.
"Such a good Pikachu woof!'' She expresses joyfully with Pikachu crying joyfully. ''Pika!''
Jenny giggles oddly able to understand him and tells him about the bags. ''Oh yes, this is all for Yugi and the others to celebrate his Birthday.''
Just a few chips, burgers and stuff since Yugi can't eat sweets. It's sad but well she understands. "He'll like it regardless.''
Pikachu cries smiling still tickling her head. Jenny giggles as they head home but then a scream is heard. ''HELP ME!''
Jenny turns hearing the scream from within a dark alley. She glares able to sniff out a trap miles away. She won't fall for that. As she turns around to get back home, her path is blocked by a grease type of a male pimp grinning menacing.
''Hey where are you going, babe?'' The man asks with the most untrusting grin. Jenny just glares unimpressed walking away but then another taller, muscular man steps in front of her, ordering her. ''They're calling for help.''
''… Do you think of me like an idiot?'' Jenny questions angrily not afraid of them until more appear from her back. She glares annoyed with Pikachu growling ready to attack but she stops her comrade, not having a choice but to ''follow''.
''… Fine.'' Jenny proclaims following them. They lead her into the dark alley and there more men were there with one of them pretending being an actual woman fake screaming.
''Oh wow a trap.'' She states extremely seeing this a mile away. The men chuckle eagerly with the big one proclaiming with an evil tone. ''You should scream now, it makes us horny.''
Jenny makes an annoyed expression, not at all impressed by their ''fear'' tactic. She sighs with Pikachu glaring at the thugs with sparks flying out of its cheeks.
''You guys are asking to have some of your bones break.'' The older Mutou says cracking her hands calmly. She then glares at them and warns them once with a menacing glare. ''I won't ask this again, leave woof or regret it.''
The woman thug smirks pulling out a pipe, threatening her with a grin. ''A b*t*h like you should beg for mercy instead!''
Jenny glares as the woman comes at her with a baseball swing… until the pipe was grabbed. Everyone startles as did Jenny as the one who caught it was Kojan, looking at each of the thugs with such an unimpressed expression.
''The lady warned you, didn't she?'' He proclaims kicking the woman so hard across her chest that her chest jiggle and she's kicked into the wall hard. The men were stunned by such the blow.
''Who the hell do you-'' The large man demands reaching out to Kojan but before he knew it almost like a second, with a single arm thrust, Kojan slams him into the ground while breaking his face and most of his teeth.
The other thugs were left speechless as Kojan, rising up from breaking the man's face, threatens the rest of them. ''I won't show you the same mercy.''
The men snap and all charge at him at all corners. Kojan scoffs as he orders calmly. ''Manectric, Discharge.''
''MANEC!'' Jenny widens her eyes as from the shadows a burst of electricity flies out, striking each of the thugs coming at Kojan and shocking them viciously. Pikachu sweats heavily eyeing the shadow as a yellow, light blue dog-like Pokémon, Manectric, walking forward.
The main thug growls eyeing Kojan furious, pulling out a knife.
''Damn twerp!'' He shouts charging at the kid by the side. Jenny panics warning him but to Kojan though, the man was moving in slow motion. In seconds before the man could stab him Kojan catches the knife with two fingers, not a scratch on his hand. The thug leader sweats as Kojan declares with a cold, annoyed stare. ''Only trash like you who harm the innocent don't deserve mercy.''
The man tries uttering something before suddenly Kojan moves so fast, disarming him by punching the arm holding the knife and breaks it bones.
''GAAAHH!'' The man lets out a shrieking scream, knife dropped on the ground as he grabs on his broken and even bleeding arm. ''M-My arm!''
''Normal human trash like you has lost function of that arm forever.'' Kojan informs him coldly not showing any remorse to the poor fool. The thug gasps trying to reach for his knife with his other hand only for Kojan to order his partner coldly. ''Flamethrower.''
Manectric roars breathing out intense flames upon the man, mostly towards his right leg.
''AHHH!'' The thug screams in horrifying pain falling backwards, shrieking. Kojan watches this coldly also proclaiming. ''That leg will feel pain throughout the rest of your life.''
The man gasps trying to get up but Manectric breathes more flames on his stomach. He gasps as Kojan gives a look and Manectric stops obedient. He walks up and kneels to the man, punching him into the gut. The thug gasps in massive pain.
''Your kidney will feel burning sensation when you eat.'' Kojan proclaims firmly as he grabs the thug by the throat and squeezes tightly. He breathes struggling to let air enter as Kojan tells him with such a dark look. ''I will squeeze your lungs that you will require tubes to breathe.''
The man gasps as his skin slowly turns blue, losing air. Kojan narrows his eyes and reaches towards the knife the man had. He twirls it carelessly, questioning it as he shows his weapon to his eyes. ''And yet you murder people with that knife: those who had love-ones and lives that they can never have back again.''
The thug cries as Kojan tells him kicking the man across the chest. ''But death… death is what you all deserve!''
The thugs begin to panic in terror witness a black fiery demonic, bird-like monster forming around Kojan. His heart was beating rapidly, unable to control himself as if he's doing to have a heart attack. Jenny watches this with such a stunned expression but snaps out, moving up in front of Kojan.
''Stop it!'' She calls him off upset, willing to protect the thug that was going to harm her. ''It may be wrong but give him a second chance to redeem his poorly made life.''
Kojan, however, ignores her walking forward as the flames take the form into something almost not human. Jenny, trembling, refuses to back away and instead walks forward shouting at him. ''I SAID STOP!''
Pikachu sweats sparks flying, thinking he wouldn't stop but he did surprisingly. Kojan scoffs as the flames around him vanish. Jenny sighs turning towards the thug in pain and orders him serious. ''Run, before he changes his mind woof.''
The thug could only scream as he drags himself away crying. Kojan watches him run as he tosses the knife to the brick wall and it breaks on impact. Jenny sees that rather overdone but she still thanks him. ''Thank you but you didn't have to make them suffer like that.''
Kojan looks around at the fried other thugs and proclaims firmly. ''Like I said, I cannot tolerate those who will end the lives of the innocent.''
Jenny hums kneeling down to Manectric and giggles petting the mon that is female. Manectric growls at first menacing but could not help wagging her tail eagerly. The older Mutou giggles with Pikachu still unease blushing behind her back neck.
''I could have handled them you know. No need to make them experience that much pain.'' Jenny says standing up eyeing him, staring firmly. ''It will only fuel their hatred and fury.''
Kojan did not care simply answering her. ''I was going to kill them to end that cycle.''
Jenny stares at this guy unease. How could he care so little on human life?
Pikachu tries moving out from his trainer's back eyeing Manectric, greeting her. ''Pika! Pikachu!''
''Manec!'' Manectric barks panicking the mouse to panic and hides back behind Jenny. Kojan sees that uninterested and tells the girl. ''Best you leave.''
Jenny eyes him watching him walk away before she calls out to him, certain who he is. ''You're Kojan-kun then?''
Kojan stops on his tracks, scoffing not surprised as he answers her back aware who she is. ''And you're Yugi's older sister, the same that was taken from him.''
Jenny frowns not surprise her brother told someone about their separation. Kojan didn't need her pity simply giving a warning directly to Yugi. ''Worry about your brother. One day, I will come for him to gain the title of the true Dragon Knight.''
The older Mutou just blinks confused by his warning, demanding him. ''What do you mean by that?''
Kojan does not answer and instead turns around and walks away.
"Let's go girl.'' He orders his Manectric to leave. The electric mon barks replying. ''Manec!''
The two walk away and vanish instantly.
''…'' Jenny stares silently, oddly feeling bad for him somehow. She's not sure about what but his scent, it smelled sad.
Jenny and Pikachu return home though she kept what Kojan told her to herself, not wishing to worry or upset Yugi until she can figure things out… and afraid if what Kojan said to be true. Regardless, she needs to make her little brother's day special. This was important for him.
So with all of his friends around him, they all chanted smiling. ''Happy Birthday, Yugi!''
Yugi blushes warmly with Ruby freaking out, uttering out in shock. ''IT'S HIS BIRTHDAY TOO?!''
The rest of Team RWBY sweat drop, very out of place but they can't complain.
''Thank you, everyone!'' Yugi expresses his joy as they all dig in with the feast before them. Everyone share among each other though Danny had to leave if he wanted to head to school, saving his farewells and heads off. Kurosaki also had to leave wishing them well.
The rest remain with even Honda, Otogi, Shizaku and Bakura joining. Yugi even got a chance to have a voice call with Anzu, exhausted from dancing school but not caring wanting to wish her tricolor head a happy birthday.
The party was simply but to Yugi it was the best. Jenny manage to hold up a candle for him to blow a wish on.
''A wish huh?'' Yugi mutters eyeing the glowing candle. He thinks about it for a moment, recalling that Birthday Wishes do sometimes come true. Then maybe... he could see Kojan again as the friend he knew or at least the friend he can understand and trust on like he does with Jonouchi and the others. Maybe... no, he wants to and he'll try it. He has to.
Making up his mind and Jenny growling by the burning sensation on her fingers, Yugi blows the candle with a strong gust of wind from his lips. His blow blasts the fire away as it relieves the older Mutou, panting like a dog.
Ichigo giggles as she checks the time on her phone. She startles and tells the group sincere. ''Um it's getting late for me Nya. I should get going.''
She then walks up to Yugi and wishes him with a kiss. ''Yugi-kun, Happy Birthday Nya.''
Yugi blushes kissing her back, grateful for the people around him especially the red cherry head in front of him.
The red cherry head then whispers to Yugi's ear that she has her gift back in her house. Blushing red, he nods informing everyone else. ''I'll be taking Ichigo-kun home.''
''Just come back soon Yugi!'' Jonouchi tells him wanting to do more for his buddy's birthday, like drinking or something for guys. Yugi nods as he and Ichigo headed off.
As they left the card shop, Jenny follows them in her Mew form over the rooftops. Worry by what Kojan said, she needs to be more on guard in protecting her only sibling.
''I'll protect him, I will woof.'' Mew Plum vows to herself mentally, not going to lose her brother. She follows the couple seemingly going to Ichigo's house. She was hiding on a tree branch, watching them closely yet curious as Yugi walks in the house. She raises an eyebrow having a good view to Ichigo's room to see Yugi sitting on the bed.
''What the hell are they-'' She starts questioning what they were doing until she sees Ichigo, in her Mew Form… almost entirely nude if not for the ribbon-like bra/panties outfit. The dog girl drops her jaw, left shocked. ''OH… OH!''
Mew Plum watches with a red face, seeing the two embrace and kissing. She gulps probably a good time to turn around and look away but well she shouldn't let her guard down in case something bad happens.
''I'll… keep watching…'' The dog Mew Mew tells herself, going through with this… even if she might be considered a pervert. So she watches… for seemingly hours even if it was around 30 minutes to an hour.

Approaching towards the Momomiya house was Ruby and team, looking for Ichigo's house. They forgot that that they had no place to stay but Judai suggested to ask Ichigo if they crash in her home like himself, Ed and sometimes Naruto who botches. The girls decide to give it a try.
Ruby laughs nervously apologizing to her teammates. ''I forgot we have no place to sleep.''
Weiss and Blake sigh also in blame for forgetting with Yang also laughing nervously. They search and find the place with Usagi's directions.
''This must be the place!'' Ruby shouts skipping up to the door and rings on it. No respond. She blinks knocking on it a few times but also no respond.
She blinks looking up to see a gleaming low light from the top window. Stomping on her foot twice, Ruby leaps up quickly in a zig-zag motion, stepping on the surface of the house and reaches the window.
''Um Ichigo?'' Ruby begins speaking as she knocks on the glass of the door. She hears voices and looks into the window, her face turn bright red before letting out a panicking shriek. This alarms Yugi and Mew Ichigo mating as they too scream. This alarmed Mew Plum actually causing her to fall off the tree branch she was on, sweating and wet… down there.
''RUBY-CHAN, GET THE HELL AWAY FROM THE WINDOW!'' Mew Ichigo screams furious about to reach the climax and it's not ruin. Yugi sweat drops heavily also reaching that climax too.
Yugi returns home smiling, at least happy he got to spend time with Ichigo and well her gift. He giggles until he comes up to the footsteps of his home and startles, looking down to see a sealed container with a strange egg inside.
He blinks kneeling down and sees a letter on it. He grabs it and opens it up, a message:
A gift to see how far you've grown.
Yugi blinks not having anyone's name as he looks at the top of the container, a Pokéball in the middle of the top and a strange stone wrapped around it, shining brightly.

Author's Note: Lazy-ish way to end the arc with this and likely next chapter but at least we get stuff especially for Kojan, for the time being. Best to not spoil much what he does for now.
