Hello to all, this is Episode 10 of the second NEW Arc of Volume 5: à La Mode l'entrée (the main course)!
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 5: Episode 10: The Accidental Dessert! The Birth of Mew Berry!
In the previous episode of DKR:
Things have become crammed in Ichigo's house with Ruby and her friends now living there so much that she asked for help to make some kind of extra house or room. Edward accepted the challenge and with Ryan's help, the house will be built for the next day.
Erika later appeared wanting to hang out with Ichigo but also worry about her friendship with her since she and Ruby can get along more.
The girls hanged out together with Erika asking and revealing to Alicia and Usagi about her worries. The two however didn't think Erika will lose her friendship with Ichigo because Ichigo admires and loves her best friend. Erika staggered by this but blushed warmly, happy her friend loves her that much. Her worries all melt away.
The next day Ed with Naruto's help built the small house and everyone is set especially for Erika accepting a date from Ryan.
But what shall happen next?
And now the conclusion... last left off in the previous episode:
"AH!'' Screaming almost like her life was on the line, Ichigo runs as fast as possible on the street while dodging around people. She uses her cat reflex to move around the people in her path while yelling. ''MOVE OUT OF THE WAY NYA!''
People didn't have time to react as Ichigo leaps or dives through the crowd or a person out of their way. The red cherry head hisses with a face of anger moving quicker.
''Stupid Ryou, that Baka!'' She yells in her head, the only place where she could snap without being more noticed than she is right now. She got the stupid call from her boss that the café finally is open fully and she needs to get her butt there now. Oh he had to call her when she with Yugi in his home, doing homework… maybe something else but overall doing homework. She had to leave him to run as fast as possible to here.
''I can't believe I'm going to arrive late for work and doesn't give me a heads up in the morning Nya!'' Ichigo yells further in her thoughts. Oh how she despises Ryou. Once she gets over there she'll give him a piece of her mind.
''I really hate that dip-'' About to say some foul words, Ichigo runs across the pedestrian bridge too distract as someone walks up from the stairs. Ichigo panics not having time to react and crashes on the person.
''WA!'' A girl's voice screams as Ichigo drops on the ground on her butt. She groans sweat dropping at herself for bumping into one.
''Sorry Nya.'' Ichigo apologizes looking at the person. Blinking, the red cherry head stares at a long blonde headed girl with dark brown eyes. She was wearing a brown school uniform with a brown bucket-like hat with ribbons. The young girl was dazed at first before snapping out and panics to see Ichigo.
''S-sorry! I wasn't looking!'' The young blonde girl apologizes nervously. Ichigo gets up as she says. ''Um don't be Nya. I was looking less.''
She approaches the young girl and reaches her hand towards her, telling her smiling. ''Let me help you up.''
The young girl eyes her hand in front of her but almost like a switch she protests shaking her head, standing up on her own. Ichigo blinks as the young girl expresses still nervous. ''I-I can do this, thank you though.''
Ichigo didn't say much pretty surprise she didn't accept her hand. The girl bows to her and excuses her. ''Please pardon me madam.''
The young girl runs off in a hurry herself. Ichigo watches her leave frowning a bit feeling bad for not helping her a bit or even apologize better. She sighs scratching the back of her head… wondering what she was-
It then hit her reminded where she needed to go.
''Oh crap!'' Ichigo shouts resuming her run to Café Mew Mew.
A few hours passed as Yugi decided to check up on Ichigo in her returning duties as waitress in the café. He took Ryan with him since he wanted to explore more and thought it would be nice if he came along too. Ruby… well, she was occupied in a game match with Honda, Otogi and Yang since Jonouchi couldn't. Another time then.
That and well… he had to carry a certain important inside a large backpack behind his back. Ryan notices the bag but didn't question it though it was huge. Probably school books.
''Café Mew Mew?'' Ryan mutters puzzled, staring at the cake-like restaurant. He has heard of the café previously but well never had the chance to see it in person till now.
''Yup! This is where Ichigo-kun and Erika-san work.'' Yugi reveals with a smile on his face. Ryan blushes red to hear that, wanting to Erika again even if well… their date hasn't started yet.
''Why are we here then?'' The young lawyer asks just curious. Yugi eyes him and answers smiling. ''It would be nice since the café is having its grand reopening that someone with money helps them out. Or well spreads the word.''
Ichigo asked of him to come in the grand reopening so the café gets noticed with the Duel King coming. Ryan hums liking the idea and states smiling too. ''Well I'll help. I like sweets.''
''Good! I'm not having any. I have Diabetes!'' Yugi then proclaims grinning. Ryan nods firmly… until he startles with a shock expression.
''… You what?'' Ryan utters turning to face the tricolor head only for Yugi to hums walking towards the café. Ryan sweat drops running up to him as they enter the café and witness the large pack of people, waiting for their tables.
Ryan is taken back by how many people are waiting. This place is even more of a cake in the inside. Yugi hums not surprised the café looks the same. Honestly it feels wider and bigger than before.
''Welcome to Café Mew Mew…'' The two boys turn and startle to see the one greeting them is Erika, wearing a lovely orange color variant of the Café Mew Mew waitress outfit. Erika blushes extremely red, looking away slightly.
''Y-You look lovely Erika.'' Ryan comments his face turn bright red. Yugi nods blushing too, imagining Jonouchi having fainted with a nosebleed.
Erika tries to recompose herself, having been called a lot when wearing… this. Boy she misses her old security guard uniform. At least it didn't give her this kind of attention.
''T-thanks... I used to wear a security guard outfit but now I'm wearing… this.'' Erika says twirling around slightly, blushing more by the outfit. She now understands Ichigo's deal about the outfit.
The black haired girl relaxes a bit informing the two. ''I'm currently the hostess of the café, both attending guests and keeping things from the cashier in check.''
Ryan hums amazed while Yugi is shocked asking puzzled. ''Wait wasn't Ichigo-kun supposed to be the hostess.''
Erika sweat drops not her place to explain and tells him. ''I'll let her tell you this. Go speak to table 39. It's all pack.''
She leads the two to a special table to be ordered. The two boys follow and sit on said table, waiting for their waitress. On cue dodging tables, Ichigo arrives before them and begins stating. ''Welcome to-''
She immediately stops eyeing Yugi and breaks into a crying-like purr, hugging him as she complains in whines. ''HE TOOK MY PROMOTION, YUGI-KUN!''
All the customers notice this with Ryan sweat dropping of embarrassed. Yugi comforts his kitty, petting her back head playfully.
''There, there my strawberry. Who?'' He asked really curious now. Ichigo sobs trying to calm down and explains that it was ''Kaiba-Baka'' and Yugi sighs.
''Kaiba-kun did? Why?'' He asks more puzzled. Ichigo was going to explain but Mint, drinking a cup of tea, beats the red headed by explaining it. ''Apparently the reopening might screw with his company's gains due to well Kaiba owning half of the café and demanded that Erika, someone more attractive, becomes hostess over Ichigo. That and Erika was warned that she can't only be guarding. Ironic on both actually.''
Yugi sweat drops heavily while Ryan oddly gets that approach. Cruel but it's a business move. Ichigo, however, just glares furious and firmly orders her almost like a demon with red glowing eyes. ''… Get back to work Minto.''
Mint actually trembles and mutters out. ''Y-yes ma'am…''
Yugi is alarmed to see Mint standing up and actually waitressing. Pretty sure Ichigo made that face and threat before and nothing happen. Ichigo giggles a bit happy explaining it. ''Ryou promoted me to main waitress instead of Hostess. I'm in charge over all the girls, ESPECIALLY Minto Nya.''
''Partly to you, Ichigo!'' Mint though protests drinking her tea calmly. ''I mean who else makes the best tea here.''
''Anyone else Nya.'' Ichigo, however, adds coldly hating her excuse as the blue haired girl sticks her tongue out winking. The red cherry headed hisses madly at her.
''And I'm still Assistant Manager, Momomiya!'' Jonouchi speaks up standing behind her. Ichigo hisses responding back. ''I KNOW! STOP REMINDING ME NYA!''
''Just checking.'' He just says backing away from her, pretty scared he might kick his groins. He then asked his best buddy. ''The lawyer is ordering Yugi?''
Yugi nods smiling as he responds. ''Yup! Ryan-kun, try anything you want.''
Ryan hums having been reading the menu and he's just amazed by the different plates. He hums really curious and decides smiling. ''I'll get 1 of everything.''
Jonouchi staggers in surprise while Ichigo has the brightest smiles with sparkly eyes, declaring joyfully. ''I'll bring a few appetizers first free of charge, kind customer Nya.''
Ryan nods smiling. Ichigo giggles eyeing the backpack of her tricolor head and asks. ''How's the egg Nya?''
Yugi sweat drops unease about it. He's told Ichigo about the egg then later the others. He has to protect the egg no matter what and hopefully it will hatch. He is though excited about raising it, telling her. ''Doing well! Hopefully the egg hatches into something awesome! I mean it will be awesome regardless!''
Ichigo giggles agreeing with him. She purrs skipping off to the kitchen until she stops. She spots someone sitting on one of the tables; it was the girl from earlier. The red cherry head, sadden, thinks back on her bump with her and this might be a good chance to apologize with her.
''Minto, cover for Yugi's table Nya.'' Ichigo asks her coworker to handle the table as she approaches the other. Mint watches and sighs doing her part.
Ichigo could tell the girl was nervous as she greets her with a peppy tone.''Hello Nya! What will you order today?''
The young blonde girl startles eyeing her and just utters in shock.''You're…''
Ichigo just nods smiling. The young girl blushes a bit shyly, holding her hands together.
''I… um… I-I'm meeting my friend and I told him here would be a nice place.'' The girl speaks up kindly still waiting for her friend. Ichigo giggles to hear that praising it. ''Well you have an amazing taste Nya.''
The girl blushes more by her kind words. Ichigo giggles a little bit reminded of Ringo looking towards the right to see Ringo handling a customer with a confident smile.
''So what can I get-'' She starts asking the young lady for her order until a CRASH is heard. Sighing, Ichigo excuses herself. ''Sorry, one moment Nya.''
The girl nods watching Ichigo leaving and notices in a surprise one of the waitress having fell with broken plates. Ichigo sighs approaching Lettuce sweat dropping.
''I tripped hehe.'' Lettuce just says laughing a bit nervously. Ichigo sighs smiling saying as she bends down and leans her hand to her. ''Oh Lettuce-chan.''
Lettuce blushes accepting her hand as Ichigo pulls her up.
''I'll help you clean this up but get the broom and brush.'' The red cherry head says smiling not letting her friend clean this up alone. Lettuce smiles nodding as Mint arrives with the broom and brush. She sighs rather disappointment saying while narrowing her eyes at the green haired bookworm. ''What a mess. Seriously?''
Lettuce sweat drops explaining herself. ''Well I tried dodging-''
Just then fireworks are heard startling everyone. They look to see a large cannon pointed upward with Pudding standing proudly.
''INTRODUCING THE GREAT PUDDING'S LATEST ACT NA NO DA!'' Pudding proclaims excitedly with Ichigo freaking out heavily.
''Pudding, don't you-'' Mint orders her extremely anxiety but it was too late as Pudding hops in the barrel and pulls the rope at the end of the cannon. Immediately it fires with Pudding shouting. ''SWIRL CREAM DUNK!''
The cannon was seemingly going to fire but nothing happen. Instead Pudding pokes her head confused and then the cannon blast a burst of cream upward. It was small range but all within the range was covered by the cream. Ryan blinks covered by it too, sampling it and hums amazed.
Ichigo groans as did Mint, all of them covered in cream too.
''PUDDING!'' Both girls start yelling furious at the small waitress. Pudding groans not by the mess but how it wasn't how she wanted it to happen.
''Aw. I thought it would splash upward and spiral neatly around me, Na No Da.'' She complains thinking she might have put too much cream. Ichigo sighs turning and panics to see the girl also covered in cream, panicking while letting out an ''Eek'' nervous voicing though her mouth.
''Sorry about my friend Nya! Here, let me clean-'' Ichigo begins saying trying to grab a hand towel under her apron but the girl quickly panics and backs away, apologizing nervously. ''I-It's fine! I can clean myself up!''
Ichigo staggers getting the deja-vu vibe.
''But let me-'' She tries insisting but the girl just shouts running off. ''I CAN DO IT, NO WORRIES!''
Ichigo watches sweat dropping as the girl runs to the backdoors in a hurry, not even checking twice if it was the direction to the bathroom.
Erika watches this and feels something strange like it's about to happen.
''Why did she freak out like that?'' Ringo asks concern by the girl's overreaction cleaning Lettuce's glasses with her own hand towel. Ichigo sighs not sure herself muttering. ''I don't know Nya.''
Zakuro walks in joining the rest of the girl, her arms crossed with a puzzled face, speaking up. ''Did she run into the back room where the basement is at?''
''…'' All the Mew Mews stare in silent before Ichigo widens her eyes and rushes into the doors. She searches for the girl hoping she doesn't end up in Keiichiro's room for Mew stuff or the large super computers. Boy, will there be a lot of explanation she wishes to avoid.
Ichigo looks not seeing her. She groans questioning. ''Where she go Nya?''
''Ichigo?'' The red cherry head blinks turning to see Ryou walking up to her. She sweat drops no point hiding why she's here, telling him. ''A customer ran in here thinking the bathrooms were here Nya.''
Ryou looks around and smiles stating. ''At least she can't get far. I was going to check on an experiment Keiichiro and I are working on.''
"… Nya?!'' Ichigo, thinking puzzled, utters out in shock. Ryou sighs forgetting that Ichigo has been busy to even go into the meetings he has with the rest of the girls, letting them know on relative stuff and most of all this new experiment.
''It's a hybrid experiment fusing two animal DNAs into one. We were testing if we could merge two DNAs to expand and likely stop the extinction of many creatures.'' Ryou explains it as simple as he could. Both he and Keiichiro still want to save the lives of the animals going extinct and with the aliens defeated, they can finally resume the other focus on the Mew Project.
Ichigo sweat drops heavily already imagining the two as mad scientists (like looking the part) doing surgery to create a half cat, half dog creature screaming as if it wishes to die. She groans muttering out. ''You two watch too many Frankenstein movies.''
Ryou glares annoyed by her over assumption, resuming. ''Point is we're nearly close to a breakthrough, testing the merging with a Mew Pendant and well, I was going to be the guinea pig. Though I would need to be infused with new DNAs to make it work.''
''Wait you're going to try another Mew Project on yourself Nya?!'' Ichigo utters out in shock not expecting Ryou would test himself, again.
Ryou nods not wishing to get another girl involved with the Mew Project. He tells her carefree though so she doesn't become concern. ''Relax Ichigo, I can survive and I just need to confirm it.''
Ichigo hums still worry but before she could add something, a strange sensation coursing through her body. She startles as a bright light shines from a room up ahead.
''What's going on Nya?'' She questions feeling such a warm sensation, similar to when she became a Mew Mew. Ryou immediately panics uttering out as he runs. ''Crap!''
Ichigo blinks running after him as Ryou arrives at the room with the door having already been opened before he arrived. She quickly puts two and two together and yells in terror. ''YOU LEFT THE ROOM FOR YOUR EXPERIMENT OPEN?!''
''Why would I-'' Ryou begins to protest that he wouldn't have left the door of the room open only to notice that Ichigo isn't paying attention. He blinks noticing the widen eyes on her face. He turns towards her direction and soon enough his eyes widen.
''Oh my…'' Ichigo utters out staring at a large machine having already been fired. And standing near the machine was the girl but now she's been fully transformed by the very ray that turned Ichigo and the rest into Mew Mews. She now has longer, lighter colored blonde hair that goes over her waist as her eyes became redder than dark brown though now she has a pair of light, cream colored rabbit ears and a cat tail. Her tail has a thin bow that has a bell tied onto it similar to Ichigo except the ribbon is slightly a darker shade of red.
Her outfit consists as a plain cream colored outfit similar to most Mew outfits being a shoulderless dress though she has a poofy skirt, with matching colored bows on either side of the waist part that connects the skirt to her bodice. She has a leg band as a darker red colored bow with white lace ends, wears similar wrist-length gloves as Mew Ichigo and wears a pair of ankle-length baggy boots. Her Mew Pendant shines under her neck wrapped by the standard Mew choker collar, hers being red with white laces on the top and bottom sides.
''She became a Mew Mew Nya!'' Ichigo announces astonished. Ryou face palm himself for screwing this up badly. He shouldn't have left that Mew Pendant already infuse with Mew Aqua in the room but this was supposed to be the safest place to keep it.
The part bunny-cat girl looks around confused and widens her eyes to see her reflection on a mirror. Ichigo notices it and approaches her, trying to calm her down. ''D-don't freak out Nya! We can explain-''
''EEEK!'' The girl just screams blushing extremely red and with a single leap, she pounces over Ichigo and Ryou. The two startle greatly as the girl lands near the door and runs for it almost like instinct. Ichigo panics as she and Ryou chase after her.
The girl had a huge lead actually running to the main café and runs past every person and table in her way with such agile and jumping prowess while screaming politely. ''EXCUSE ME PLEASE EEK!''
Everyone noticing this was speechless including the other Mew Mews as the girl manages to reach the exit and leaps away into the park. Ichigo arrives to the doors panting, no longer able to see her. Yugi and Ryan along with the Mew Mews and Ryou join her by the door looking outside and don't see her.
''… Was that one of those Mew Mews mate?'' Ryan asks really surprised. Yugi nods asking his girlfriend. ''What happened?''
Ichigo sighs gazing at Ryou and tells everyone. ''Ryou left the door to that room opened Nya.''
Everyone eyes Ryou with Keiichiro arriving, sweat drops questioning. ''Really?''
Ryou groans upset changing the subject. ''Let's move pass the blame game and get that girl before things get out of hand.''
Ichigo agrees and suggests holding Yugi's hand. ''Yugi-kun and I can go alone Nya.''
Yugi nods determined.
''Careful Ichigo.'' Erika says her friend, sensing something that might happen soon. Ichigo nods smiling with Yugi saying. ''Let's go Ichigo-kun.''
The two headed off to find the bunny-cat Mew Mew. Erika watches them leave and frowns still sensing this evil sensation like something, no someone will come and challenge them again like the aliens.
"This feeling… no doubt, a new enemy?'' Erika tells herself concern.
Watching behind their backs on a customer table is a young man, around 19-20 years. He has dark brown hair in two layers with long hair bangs that oddly resembles Judai's hairstyle but more formal and not messy, spiky ends. He also has light brown eyes while wearing dark red formal jacket, white shirt collar underneath the dark red vest, dark red pants and shoes.
He hums sipping on the coffee he order with a slice of pie. He watches oddly cracking a smirk, muttering out. ''And things get intriguing.''
Who is this man and will Ichigo find that girl turned Mew Mew before things get even worse?
Commercial Break:
Ichigo: Just great Nya. But hey for once Ryou screwed up!
Yugi: I don't think we should gloat over that… but yup!
Yugi and Ichigo had been searching for the girl within the park. Yugi could sense a frightened aura within the area so they might be getting close.
Ichigo just frowns concerned how the girl must be feeling. She knows all too well from self-experience that becoming a Mew Mew is overwhelming and questions yourself if you can really be a human. She could only sense the girl must be scared.
"The poor girl Nya…'' She mutters worrying how she might be doing. Yugi eyes her and smiles cheering her up. ''Don't worry, it could have been a whole lot worst right?''
Ichigo blushes admitting it could have been like the cases with Lettuce and Zakuro.
''Sorry again about your hostess position.'' Yugi then says meaning to say something about how she lost her chance to no longer being a waitress. She eyes him and smiles warmly just saying. ''Don't worry Nya.''
Yugi smiles as just then the two felt something so much that Masha pops out, alarming them of Chimera Anima. They eye each other and nod running towards this sense.
Near the pond in the park, the girl stares at her reflection still left speechless. She questions what she is now as she pulls on a bunny ear and gasps actually feeling the yank. She groans questioning herself. ''Why am I wearing this? Why do I have bunny ears and a tail?''
She studies herself more and admits she does look really cute. She blushes just realizing it. ''Could I be one of those Mew Mews?''
Before she could fully get a grip with the idea a CRASH is heard just right behind her. The earth shook to her surprised as she falls on her butt.
''W-what the…'' She utters turning around and soon widens her eyes. Behind her stood was a giant, bulky rhino with sharper horn and muscle. The bunny-cat Mew Mew slowly drops her mouth with widening her eyes in absolute terror.
The monster lets out a powerful cry swinging its massive hoof over her to stomp. The girl, reacting on instinct, backflips and leaps away from the hoof stomping and releases another shockwave.
''WWAAAA!'' She screams landing on her feet and runs for her life, screaming as the monster comes chasing after her. ''HELP ME!''
Yugi and Ichigo arrive on the scene to see this play out. Yugi sweat drops by the massive monster and asks the red cherry head if he should help out. ''Need help Strawberry Kitten?''
''Nay, I got this Nya!'' Ichigo speaks up certain. She winks telling him while smiling playfully. ''Watch me though Nya.''
Yugi blushes nodding. Ichigo giggles leaping off.
The girl still runs and screams for her life, not wanting to die like this.
The Chimera Rhino lets out a louder shout and stomps the ground with all four hooves, releases a burst that knocks the girl off her feet and rolls on the ground. She groans as the rhino comes charging with its massive horn towards her. She watches trembling, unable to do anything out of fear.
''LEAVE HER ALONE NYA!'' The girl startles as something leaps past her and something kicks the rhino across the horn, actually pushing the monster back. Landing in front of the bunny-cat Mew Mew is Ichigo, smiling confident.
''You okay Nya?'' Ichigo asks turning to face the girl. The girl widens her eyes that it was the same young lady as before. Ichigo just smiles asking of her. ''Please leave the rest to me Nya.''
The girl just stares silent and finally nods, accepting her help. Giggling, Ichigo says as Masha pops out beside her. ''Masha, keep her safe Nya.''
''No problem, no problem! Kick butt Ichigo!'' Masha cheers for her partner joyfully. The girl eyes the strange pink thing and blushes at how adorable it looks.
Ichigo smiles nodding facing the Chimera. Grabbing on her Mew Pendant Necklace, she kisses on it.
''Mew Mew Strawberry…'' Ichigo whispers as she shouts chanting with the pendant glowing brightly. ''METAMORPHOSIS!''
The pendant's light covers and wraps Ichigo's body in pink ribbons, transforming and unfolding them to reveal the once red cherry head as the pink haired cat girl Mew Mew.
The girl widens her eyes even more, speechless to think she's actually a Mew Mew.
Striking her signature cat pose, Mew Ichigo declares a wink and smile. ''For your evil actions, I'll make you pay Nya!''
The Chimera just cries furious charging at her. The girl panics as the massive thing comes ramming at them but Mew Ichigo giggles forming her Strawberry Bell immediately followed by her barrier. The pink energy barrier blocks the rhino's horn and actually stops it in its tracks.
Walking up at the creature, Mew Ichigo drops her barrier and grabs the monster by the horn, actually thrusting it backwards with a single push. The girl watches speechless by such power.
The rhino cries slamming its hooves to create the same shockwave but Mew Ichigo leaps off the ground and lands on the rhino, purring as she tickles its scales. The monster roars madly trying to throw itself around like a bull but the cat girl was too agile and strong to be tossed off.
Just as the cat girl prepares to do something, she suddenly hears the inner tears and sadness of the rhino being controlled by the Para-Para, seeing visions of its enslavement by a strange group among other animals. Frowning, Mew Ichigo knew she had to settle things now before the poor creature suffers anymore.
She releases a small burst of Ribbon Chidori Current across his body, stunning the Chimera so it can't move. Mew Ichigo leaps off its back, proclaiming with a bright smile. ''Don't worry Nya! I'll free you from that parasite's control!''
Taking aim with her heart-shaped bell and holding it with both hands, the cat girl shouts proudly. ''RIBBON STRAWBERRY CHECK!''
The bell unleashes a powerful blast of magical pink energy, consuming the Chimera as it reverts back to a normal size Rhino and the Para-Para damaged before eaten by Masha.
The girl just breathes in stun by what has even happened while Mew Ichigo walks up to the rhino and pets it on his head. She smiles telling him kindly. ''Easy big guy. You're safe Nya.''
The rhino hums relaxing with the cat girl purring, saying happily. ''Good boy, rest here and don't hurt anyone else.''
Yugi already called in to well animal control about an abandon rhino needing a home.
The rhino rests on the ground finally resting with Mew Ichigo approaches the bunny-cat girl.
''Are you okay Nya?'' Mew Ichigo asks her again hoping she's not thrown away. The girl nods nervously just uttering out. ''Y-You're her. The cat girl Mew Mew.''
Ichigo sweat drops admitting it as she introduces herself with another cat pose. ''Mew Ichigo Nya or I guess you can call me Ichigo Momomiya Nya!''
The girl stares blushing at how cool she was. Ichigo giggles asking her. ''And you?''
''B-Berry, Berry Shirayuki.'' The girl named Berry replies still nervous. Ichigo smiles liking that name and tells her holding her hand forward. ''Come on then Berry-chan, I'll explain what happened to you Nya.''
''…'' Berry silently stares at her hand, hesitating to reach it. She just nods holding her hands to her chest too unsure. Mew Ichigo notices this but lets it slide. The two girls begin to walk as Berry sees Yugi walking to them and she staggers.
''H-hey you're-'' Berry starts uttering out in shock but Ichigo interrupts suggesting. ''Um explanations later Nya.''
Berry blinks and soon realizes she's not wrong. She nods as they headed off. Yugi, though, stays behind sensing something. He looks towards the trees, sensing something unease. A strange aura but who-
''Yugi-kun? You coming Nya?'' The tricolor head startles turning towards the cat girl. He looks back and nods. ''Yea…''
He joins Mew Ichigo as they walk together with the girl Berry though the purple eyes couldn't help but sensing someone watching them.
Watching, from within the trees, is a young boy with black hair. He wears a long noble-like overcoat with necktie-like handkerchief tucked into the neck with a gem in the middle, a monocle over his right eye and a top hat. He's holding a white tuxedo mask, tapping his chin humming.
"So that was the Pink Mew Mew.'' The stranger utters out adjusting his monocle.
Was this the enemy that Erika had been sensing? What new threats will the Mew Mews overcome this time?

Berry nods curious: Um you're a Mew and I'm one too?
Ichigo grins: Yep!
Berry gasps panicking: B-BUT WHY?!
Ichigo sighs patting her back: We'll explain when we get back to the café Nya.
Yugi smiles: Next time in Yu-Gi-Oh! Dragon Knight Reborn: Believe in your Power! Ichigo the Training Coach Nya!

Author's Note: The first chapter of the à La Mode arc… I'm proud of it.
Let me get this off my back, the DKR version of Berry Shirayuki uses some aspects of Berry's canon life but like a writer, I've put THOUGHT into her character. Since her mother's death, Berry has this strong desire to be perfect (wanting to be just like her dead mother) regardless of the consequences which were many girls finding her as a bitter enemy and with only one dear friend (Takusu… good kid, I LIKE HIM) she can trust. As well as a lack of fulfillment due to trying to do everything perfect. Berry has this need to not accept help to show her perfection status. I also made Berry a more curious… and more nervous-no confident girl which was why she even bothered exploring inside the café to well accidentally become a new Mew Mew. Of course Berry is also unsure in herself unlike her canon self's more ''I am more confident than anyone else''. Of course Berry will grow into becoming more sure in herself but through Ichigo and the other Mew Mews. Keep watching to find out more.
In other words, Berry is flawed and not Mary Sue. EASY RIGHT? Easy to make a character think so highly to become perfect but will learn doing that will not do anything if she lacks the strength in herself to be true to who she is?! SIGH… Sorry, they did dirty with her character. Berry has much potential and why next chapter I will explain more what Á La Mode could have been.
As for Saint Rose Crusaders… EH… I'll try. Berry is honestly a bigger issue but I'll work on the all boy group AND then some!
One thing… much like my altered Mew Aging for each girl, best I remind you all where we are:
Ichigo is Age 17, Mint is Age 17, Lettuce should be age 17-18, Pudding is age 15, Zakuro is age 19-20 Ringo would be age 13-14, Erika would be Age 17, Jenny would be Age 20-21… and now Berry will be Age 15-16. Remember, DKR ages up the Mew Mews to a more reasonable age (considering that the Sailor Senshis are older minus Chibiusa).

Speaking of next time thought... for the next two weeks starting now, I will not be uploading DKR until the start of June (Thursday the 3rd). So no DKR for the last two weeks of May. Just personal stuff.
