Hello to all, this is Episode 11 of the second Arc of Volume 5: à La Mode l'entrée!
P.S. I do not own them all or any of them except this crossover story, so I wrote the band's or artist's name that wrote that song which I do not own again.
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 5: Episode 11: Believe in your Power! Ichigo the Training Coach Nya!
In the previous episode of DKR:
Ichigo ran for her life from school to get to Café Mew Mew for its grand reopening that she was told of LAST MINUTE. However doing so, she bumped into a young girl who nervously apologizes politely and leaves in a hurry.
The reopening went partly smoothly until Ichigo attended a costumer who was the girl from before. She tried to befriend her but due to Pudding's latest trick backfired and the girl ran to clean up, instead accidentally transforming herself into a Mew Mew by crashing on top of a Mew infuser ray that Ryou and Keiichiro were testing. The results made the girl as a hybrid of a cat and a rabbit and freaking out she ran for her life all while someone suspicious watching the events unfold.
Ichigo and Yugi tried finding her and did while she's being attacked by a new Chimera Anima. Ichigo engaged the monster and defeated it as the magical cat girl she is. Mew Ichigo tried befriending her again wishing to help her and the girl, called Berry, accepted her friend really confused what has happened. The three returned back to the café while being watched by likely a new enemy.
What will happen next?
And now the conclusion... last left off in the previous episode:
Walking back to Café Mew Mew, Yugi and Ichigo each take a time to eye the young Berry Shirayuki. She was really quiet after what she witnessed and well became a Mew Mew too. She blushes trying to utter out. "Um…''
Ichigo hums eyeing her properly. Berry blushes still unease but brings herself to say. ''T-thank you, for saving me.''
The red cherry head giggles nodding.
''And also for showing me how to change back.'' Berry adds happy she showed her how to return back to normal. She was really scared that she'll be stuck like that even though she looked cute. Though Berry is still unease holding the Mew Pendant that Ichigo said belong to her now.
Ichigo winks, responding kindly. ''Anytime Berry-chan!''
Berry blushes nodding, sighing at how bad she made things be. She should have accepted her help back then… but she couldn't.
''I should have been more careful when I ran into that room. Thought it was the bathroom.'' Berry says pretty upset she made such a mistake due to her nervousness and stubbornness. Ichigo chuckles honestly admitting she would have made the same mistake too.
''I was going to help you Nya. Can I ask you what happened there?'' The older girl asks the younger one. Berry blushes though sadden, thinking about a grave and slowly responds. ''… I-It's personal, please understand! I…''
Ichigo could tell this was something depressing for her to talk about and nods accepting her wishes. ''Don't worry about it Nya. We all have our own reasons right?''
Berry startles a bit eyeing her. She blushes not meeting many people who try to understand her emotional privately. She was grateful.
''Ichigo-san…'' The blonde headed girl begins to say that Ichigo eyes her again. Blushing redder, Berry resumes almost happily. ''You were really cute in that form!''
''… Nya?'' Ichigo just utters a puzzled meow. Yugi whistles blushing red, thinking the same. Berry notices that and giggles adding. ''See, I'm not the only one who thinks so too.''
Ichigo just blushes admitting that she's not wrong.
Berry blushes explaining herself while rubbing both her index fingers together nervously. ''Sorry. I really love all cute stuff, like the café. I wanted to go there for a long time but when it closed down temporary, I thought I missed my chance.''
Ichigo blushes again admitting she's not wrong about the café though she does reply on the last part. ''So that's why you came there Nya?''
Berry nods smiling… until she gasps panicking. ''Tasuku-kun must be there already!''
Ichigo and Yugi blink as Berry pulls out her phone and starts texting this Tasuku. She then gets a ring and sighs of relief. ''Phew! He's running late.''
''Your friend Berry-kun?'' Yugi asks taking a guess. Berry nods smiling correcting him happily. ''My bestest friend actually!''
Ichigo giggles really finding Berry cute when she's acting like this.
Soon the 3 return to the café as Ichigo announces. ''We're back!''
They blink to find the café nearly empty minus their friends waiting.
Ryou sighs getting her text and says. ''Got the message. Good work Ichigo.''
Ichigo nods with Yugi asking. ''Closed down temporary?''
''Just an excuse. Profit for today is still green.'' Ryou says figuring this issue needs private talking.
''Oh right! Keiichiro-kun, that Chimera I-'' Ichigo then tells the other boss concerned about the Chimera Anima that attacked Berry but Keiichiro interrupts replying just as worry. ''I know Ichigo-san. I'm still figuring how a Chimera appear and who was controlling it.''
Ichigo groans worry that it could be the aliens again… though if it were them Kish would just show up and taunt her… sexually.
''It wasn't the evil general right?'' Ringo asks curious if it was the Dark Lord's commander. Yugi shakes his head stating. ''Dark General Knight-kun uses Dark Chimera Animas the last time he used them on us, no doubt about it.''
Erika agrees just as the door of the café was being knocked on. She raises an eyebrow checking who that was.
''Um…'' The rest of the group eyes Berry trying to speak up and asks. ''Can I ask what happened to me?''
Ryou nods with Keiichiro saying in a charming way. ''Of course, come with us.''
Berry blushes nodding while Ichigo and the other girls sigh with those charms. They follow including Yugi and Ryan who wants to know this himself.
''Sorry the café is closed for-'' Erika was politely telling the person knocking on the door that the café was closed for today but he insists stating. ''I understand madam but I wish to speak with Retasu Midorikawa.''
Erika raises an eyebrow and turns, calling out to her green haired friend. ''Lettuce-san, someone wants to speak with you.''
Lettuce blinks adjusting her glasses and runs up to the door instead. She joins Erika to stare at the one who wants to talk to her and the four-eyes Mew Mew startles to see who it was.
''Wait you're-'' She starts uttering, staring at the man who was in the café earlier. He smiles charmingly as he says. ''It's been a long time, Midorikawa.''
Berry feels so dizzy having been explained the whole story of the Mew Mews and well their mission… also the part to not tell anyone else that does know this secret or well bad stuff can happen. Berry understood that part to protect their love ones and well the media… and the government too.
''Mew Project? Endangered Animals? Mutant animals? Aliens?!'' Berry states one at a time just that much more shock. Ryou nods with Keiichiro putting it in simple words. ''Basically, Shirayuki-san, the Mew Project has two purposes: Secure the lives of animals going extinct and to engage a race of aliens threatening to eliminate humanity to regain this planet they left long ago.''
''But most of all to stop him, the aliens' so called god and his true intentions of destroying this world to gain the limitless power which we call Mew Aqua. Which we did thankfully.'' Ryou adds firmly. Ichigo nods frowning, thinking about Deep Blue and the problems he caused as she narrows her view towards Yugi.
''Anyway you were infused with two unique DNA, two who would not survive this world to balance their weaknesses.'' Ryou changes subject telling Berry what she has become. Keiichiro nods explaining further on his end with screens of the two fused animals. ''The Amami Rabbit, unlike its other kind, can't jump as high while the Andean Mountain Cat lacks stamina that other cats have. So we fused both DNAs to grant improvements and even add abilities they didn't have normally.''
Berry blushes liking the rabbit part; she has a hungry for carrots.
''And that's all possible because each of you girls have a piece of Mew Aqua infused in your very core, granting these animal's traits and the ability to transform.'' Ryou then adds explaining how she and the other girls are what they are. He then adds staring at Ichigo. "And a Mew Mew is capable to push her limits through their emotions alone, increasing or evolving their powers."
Ichigo blinks not thinking about it like that. Berry nods blushing and just says happily. ''I like the outfits, they're cute.''
The other girls blush with Ringo uttering out blushing. ''Eh sure, thanks!''
Berry nods blushing, never believing she would become this super heroine or magical girl. It feels like one of those Animes. She giggles saying. ''This is all cool!''
''I know right Nya!'' Ichigo says giggling but Mint slightly protests humorous. ''Not so much.''
''And most of us are busy with our real life duties.'' Zakuro then adds with her arms crossed with Pudding also adding while jumping. ''But we're the best Na Do Da!''
''You get used to it the more you adjust.'' Ringo finally adds sweat dropping at how overwhelming this could all be.
Berry nods blushing not expecting any of this from happening, becoming a Mew Mew feels like a dream.
''It was fate.'' Everyone stares towards Erika walking in having a feeling she should say something before watching over when Lettuce comes back. Berry blinks by that fate part
''Wait Erika, you mean your ability to see the future?'' Ryan asks having been briefly told of Erika's unique foreseen ability. Erika shakes her head partly as she explains better. ''I was unable to see these events from happening. If I could I would have stopped this from happening but this is fate demanding a new Mew Mew to be born.''
She walks up to the long blonde headed and tells her with a smile. ''And that is you, Berry.''
Berry stares at her blushing just speechless if that was really true.
''Fate…'' She mutters staring at the Mew Pendant in her hands. Ichigo felt the same holding her Mew Pendant Necklace by the palm of her hand. She recalls those words used when she wasn't sure about fighting Deep Blue while Masaya was still in there or she assumed back then, too afraid to harm him. Yugi eyes her and frowns still recalling how that day changed Ichigo. In a way, fate can be too cruel.
Berry thinks about it, never complaining about her normal life not once but now fate demanded that she does something to change that about herself. Maybe this is what she must do, frowning a bit when thinking about her mother. Would she approval? If she did… then she can't run away from this.
''… I'll do it.'' Berry finally speaks up, eyeing the group certain about this choice. ''I mean I don't have a choice to say no now right? And I could be targeted too.''
''Probably but smart choice.'' Ryou proclaims still not sure why that Chimera targeted Berry but it's safe than not.
''Besides…'' Berry then adds giggling. ''I really like my Mew form, it's cute!''
The other Mew Mews smile with Erika saying with a smile. ''Then it's settled.''
Berry nods though frowns admitting honestly. "Though I hope I don't slow down the rest of you for being new.''
Ichigo eyes her humming that maybe she could help her. She smiles, oddly wanting to do something that herself when she began as a Mew Mew wouldn't do.
What is Ichigo planning?
Commercial Break:
Berry: I hope I do my best being a Mew Mew.
Ichigo: You'll do fine Nya! I know so by experience!
Erika went back guarding near the doors of the café waiting for Lettuce to return as she has a private talk with that man who Lettuce says was an old friend of hers. Just mentioning he's a psychologist called Alan Reaper. She smiles happy to see him since he left years ago to pursuit his dream.
"I'm surprised you moved back to Tokyo, Alan-san.'' Lettuce expresses happy he returned. Alan just nods with a small smile.
''So you've become the psychologist you always wanted to be?'' She then asks wondering if his career went well. Alan just briefly chuckles correcting her. ''Just a simple one. I did mention I wouldn't aim to become famous or any less.''
Lettuce nods figuring as much since Alan was never the type to aim higher but his want to study others. She giggles thinking he must have helped a lot of people like how she helped him.
''I know, I just thought you would try to make a book on your theory on human kind.'' She then asks how his book was doing. Alan reaches in his bag and pulls out a book, simply stating. ''A working progress but I am getting there.''
Lettuce nods smiling hoping he finishes his book soon. He was- no still is the smartest person she knows.
''How did you know I work here?'' She then asks him just curious how he knew she worked here. Alan just smiled simply saying. ''I heard a certain green haired girl with rounded glasses works here and breaks dishes.''
She blushes so much that her glasses fogged up. She panics as Alan hands her a handkerchief. She bows politely and cleans her glasses.
''I'm happy to see you again Alan.'' She says happily handing the handkerchief back but Alan shakes his head letting her keep it.
''I'm surprised you've changed Midorikawa.'' Alan proclaims staring at a girl more certain and confident in herself than afraid and shy or well mistreated. Lettuce giggles telling him. ''I've made real friends who love me for who I am and always have my back without hesitating.''
She smiles grateful of having to meet Ichigo and the others. If not for them, she would still be used by those girls and probably worst.
''I also grew to become strong like the friends I have.'' She adds also grateful to Ryou too. Even though Ichigo can't stand him, she sees him as a strongest guy she knows.
Alan hums opening his book turning to a page and begins reading a phrase with his eyes closed. "Humanity has been the only group that is constantly evolving to the point where they thought they are at harmony with one another."
Lettuce blushes amazed by the phrase.
''A phrase from my book.'' Alan says opening his eyes, staring at her. Lettuce giggles stating. ''It's very beautiful Alan-san.''
She thinks back when she was a kid who bullies treated her and ruin a book she loved. It was also that same day she was confronted and comfort by Alan, being someone she could always speak and count on. If anything, he was her first friend.
''I'm happy we became friends back then.'' Lettuce says happily. Alan smiles walking up to her and adds placing his hand over hers. ''I'm also happy to hear that.''
Lettuce blushes warmly but she knew this was wrong, removing her hands off his.
''Um sorry but I-'' She tries to explain him kindly but Alan interrupts correcting his mistake. ''I wasn't asking you out, I see you as a special being to ever ruin it.''
Lettuce blinks by that but now she had to correct him sweat dropping. ''I was just saying that I have to get back inside.''
Though now thinking about it, she did let him touch her hands in such a romantic way. Alan nods respecting her wishes and then asks. ''Of course. Would it be wrong if I ask you to have a coffee with me in any library you wish to go to?''
''I would love to!'' Lettuce gladly accepts wanting to know more what he's been doing. Alan smiles and politely says his farewell. ''Until then, Midorikawa.''
She bows to his farewell and heads back inside the café.
''…'' Silent and alone, Alan thinks back on that day he did met her… and how he would later torment those same bullies with pain two-fold. He didn't do it for revenge; just experimenting on the power he had.
Flipping to the pages of his book, he resumes where he left on. "However, conflict is a thing that could never be erased due to the people wanting to dominate for power, greed, vengeance, jealousy, and cruelty for their thirst of amusement."
As he reads, darkness swirls underneath his feet.
''Hero or villain; only one who dominates such emotions and achieves one's goals that all beings fail to see.'' Alan resumes quoting. He humors himself if that day will come for one of light or dark will know true power. He chuckles adding. ''Though it's curious to see how such pathetic beings act so to correct and re-educate their behaviors.''
Alan cracks a grin, raising his left hand. Swirls of darkness forms around his palm and materializes the energy into the Arkham mask.
''Only I can do such an act and see what this may unfold all while waiting for the Dark Lord to end this pathetic cycle.'' Alan declares putting on the Arkham mask as his hair becomes wicked and evil. He laughs only wishing Lettuce never learns what he is… at least not yet. In a way, it would be fascinating to see her expression when she does learn the truth.
For now Alan- no, Arkham, is curious on what new enemy the Mew Mews have now. Ones that could benefit the Dark Lord's cause.
Lettuce returns back to the café with Ichigo calling her out. ''There you are Lettuce-chan!''
''Sorry, I was with someone.'' She explains blushing, very happy too. Erika and Zakuro both jabs her friend's arms on their sides to spit it out. Lettuce blushes embarrassed but she did want to tell them regardless. She calms down and tells them. ''Okay-okay! He's a friend of mines from my childhood, Alan Reaper-san.''
''Reaper?'' Ryan utters out surprised. Everyone blinks with Lettuce asking puzzled. ''You heard of him?''
Ryan nods telling the rest. ''He's a psychologist. Never met the bloke as he keeps most of his studies and patients to himself and only regular people though…''
He frowns having heard that most of Reaper's patients have done crazy stuff from killing someone before committing suicide or having gone missing. There was no prove that it was his doing as the other patients were okay but he has this gut feeling especially since one of the patients did commit a murder but was capture before killing herself. He met her and she simply said she did what her heart told her to; kill her abusive husband. Any psychologist would see through this issue so why didn't Reaper?
Ryan blinks noticing everyone staring at him to continue. He shouldn't discuss this type of thing especially in front of someone who knows Alan. Ryan then laughs a bit resuming. ''Nothing, just a lawyer's ramble talking.''
Erika hums able to tell there was more behind that. Lettuce changes subject by asking Ichigo. ''So is Shirayuki-san okay with everything?''
"I am and I'm willing to work here…'' Berry speaks up blushing but she does add concerned about her father. ''Though I need to let my Papa know.''
Ichigo gazes at Ryou who sighs responding. ''If he's not, we won't force it on you.''
Berry smiles though for a moment before saying worry. ''Still there's a lot I need to know about my powers and well I don't know where to begin.''
Ichigo thinks back how Yugi inspired her to become strong through his actions. Smiling, she makes her mind fully determined.
Walking up to her, Ichigo tells Berry with a wink. ''Berry-chan let me help you Nya! I'm going to become your teacher Nya!''
''… HUH?!'' Everyone utters out in shock. Yugi sweat drops smiling not minding that idea. Berry utters an ''Eek'' unease.
''I'm the best person to coach Berry-chan. Just like I did with Ringo-chan!'' Ichigo proclaims ensuring her decision. Ringo laughs nervously, blushing as she recalls her almost older sister's training method… not fun.
Berry blushes still not sure but this could be a good thing too. She needs training.
Erika smiles supporting this while Mint sweat drops not so certain.
Ryou hears things out and honestly he does like that idea… and also he rather not make the girl any madder than she already was. He sighs accepting the terms. ''Fine, go ahead. She's your responsibility.''
Ichigo giggles happily as she eyes Berry and asks her smiling. ''How about it Berry-chan? Mind if I train you?''
''… I would love to, Ichigo-san!'' Berry, smiling, accepts her offer. Ichigo purrs happily.
Ryan hums watching this and eyes Yugi, asking for his opinion. ''You okay with this?''
Yugi nods responding more than certain. ''Who else but Ichigo-kun. I know she'll be great.''
Ryan oddly smiles amazed by the trust Yugi have for Ichigo. He can see why the two fight and trust each other almost in sync. Jonouchi sighs overhearing all of this and doesn't say a word, best to avoid getting his nuts crashed.
Ichigo purrs happy Yugi thinks so. Maybe he can help too- she then sweat drops maybe not since Yugi should be level 2 type of training once Berry masters her Mew powers. He also has that egg he got from his birthday to seemingly raise for. Can't have him help her this time.
Just then the door of the café bangs again. Erika sighs proclaiming. ''I'll get that.''
She opens the door to see a young boy with spiky dark hair and dark brown eyes, breathing heavily as he's wearing a pair of roller blade shoes. He breathes heavily speaking loudly while catching his breath. ''L-LOOKING… FOR… BERRY…''
Berry startles hearing that voice and speaks up in surprise. ''Tasuku-kun!''
The boy Tasuku squeezes past Erika as he skate towards Berry, uttering loudly. ''I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE-''
Before he could finish, Tasuku falls onto the ground face forward. Berry panics running up towards him and pulls him up.
''I'm okay…'' He utters weakly. He came so late to well their not-date date, stupid afterschool homework.
Berry smiles, happy he's okay, insisting him while holding his hand. ''Come on. Take me to your home.''
Tasuku groans narrowing his eyes at her and insists proudly. ''Your home first missy! I can defend myself you know.''
Berry giggles at his manly attempt, saying with a smile. ''I know!''
Tasuku blushes red but accepts the compliment.
Ichigo giggles to herself how adorable they look.
Berry turns to the group and says her goodbyes. ''Bye everyone!''
Ichigo giggles as she and the others wave their goodbyes too. With that Berry and Tasuku leaves the restaurant walking home together.
''You know those people?'' Tasuku suddenly asks really confused Berry knows them. Berry hums for a moment before replying with a smile and winks. ''It's a long story.''
She'll have to be careful not to tell Tasuku about the Mew parts. He's her best friend but she worries for him more than anyone else.
Will Berry become a proper Mew Mew with Ichigo's training and will our heroines learn who the new enemy might be?

In order to get used to her powers, Ichigo trains Berry and also helps her befriend and get to know her fellow Mew Mews. Berry, still unsure, accepts wishing to not give up. So first is Mint who is having a crisis at home and begs for Ichigo's help at all cost! Will things play out well?
Jonouchi: Another Mew… Great. That makes 9 right?
Yugi: Yep.
Ryan: Big deal?
Jonouchi: Sort of yea- WAIT WHY AM I TELLING YOU THAT?!
Ryan shrugs: Not sure but Yugi, you think the little lady will be okay about this?
Yugi: That's up to her but I'm sure Ichigo-kun will help her lead the way.
Mint sighs: If she doesn't, I will! THAT I CAN PROMISE! Next time in-
Jonouchi: OH NO! We get to say it! Next time in Yu-Gi-Oh! Dragon Knight Reborn: The Art of Dancing! Soar through Mint!
Mint glares annoyed: …

So yea this chapter is simply and my job is to show Berry's past reveal itself through these chapters. If anything, I have to do it like this. I have a short time to plan everything out so yea. Going to try my best!
