Hello to all, this is Episode 13 of the second Arc of Volume 5: à La Mode l'entrée!
P.S. I do not own them all or any of them except this crossover story, so I wrote the band's or artist's name that wrote that song which I do not own again.
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 5: Episode 13: Knowledge of One's Kindness! Lettuce's Maturity!
In the previous episode of DKR:
Ichigo began training Berry to get used to her powers until Mint called and asked for their services. A ballet she had been working is will get cancelled in favor for a play but even with all of her efforts, now she lost two dancers. So Mint asked for Ichigo to cover being a dancer as well as Berry since the other girls were busy. Ichigo sadly accepted with Berry nervous about it but Ichigo insured this will be perfect for her training.
After training under Mint's instructions for the whole day, they were at least good enough to handle the ballet until another girl dropped. This left Mint defeated but Ichigo had a plan, ask a favor from Ruby's friend Weiss to help them since she was aware of her dancing skills from Ruby. So with Weiss's assistance, the ballet was set and a success… until a Chimera Anima appeared to attack everyone. With Weiss's further assistances and Mint showing her own training, the heroines were able to defeat the monster but also learn who was controlling it; Happy Child. They still don't know who this strange boy was but Ichigo knew something was really off. Plus regret that Weiss is just another Mint driving her nuts at work.
What will happen next?
And now the conclusion... the next day since the previous episode:
Berry and Ichigo were alone in the city to resume more of Berry's training. Berry was curious what her training will be this time.
"So what is today's training, Ichigo-san?'' Berry asks wanting to know what they'll do this time. She's gotten a hang on using her instincts but she still needs more.
Ichigo hums eyeing her and replies with a soft grin. ''More flexing and jumping!''
''Really?'' Berry mutters puzzled. Ichigo nods having seen plenty from each of the other Mew Mews, including herself, that they all have their own traits and skills. Mint can fly, Lettuce can swim, Pudding is energetic, Zakuro can bite hard, Ringo can move quicker, Erika is poisonous, Jenny is strength and Ichigo is agile and fast. From what she's seen, Berry is similar to herself but more towards jumping.
''Yep Nya. Us, Mew Mews, are really active when we move.'' Ichigo says happily going with Berry agreeing still unease. ''I guess that's true.''
Ichigo giggles asking her. ''Ready then Nya?''
Berry eyes her and nods going to try it. With that the girls headed off to a building no one would notice and started leaping off from their feet at such height to get on the rooftops. Of course it wasn't all that easy with Berry only seemingly a quarter lengthen while Ichigo uses the edge of the building to boost herself forward. Regardless of that, Berry could tell Ichigo is holding back and could jump higher than her already.
She tries to use the same trick Ichigo was using but slips off. Berry screams falling but Ichigo catches her as both landed back together. Berry sighs screwing that up but Ichigo tells her smiling. ''Don't worry mimicking me Nya. You need to move on your pace. I'm just showing you the way.''
Berry blushes admitting she can't get good on day one. Still, she couldn't help herself; needing to be perfect. Ichigo notices this and thinks about it. It hits her as she advises her with a wink. ''And remember, you're a rabbit too and they hop all the time Nya.''
The blonde headed girl startles a bit and nods. She needs to practice hopping and revving her length too. She nods proceeding in hopping, trying to get a good grip on it.
Ichigo smiles watching her get use to her leaping. She giggles that girl can learn faster. Then again Ichigo praises the thought she might be a good teacher.
Just then her cellphone rings. Ichigo blinks pulling it out and answers. ''Hello? Oh Lettuce-chan! What's-''
The red cherry head listens hearing the worrying shouts of her friend's voice on the other end. She nods replying. ''Okay! I'll see you there Nya!''
She hangs up and calls out to the young Mew Mew. ''Berry-chan, break time Nya!''
Berry startles just warming up. Ichigo walks up to her and giggles telling her. ''Come on, we got to see Lettuce-chan.''
''Huh?!'' Berry just utters surprised as Ichigo drags her to come with her. She did though puzzle what it is this time.
Ichigo and Berry arrives to a closed library with Lettuce waiting for them.
''I'm sorry to get you involved Ichigo-san but I need help.'' Lettuce proclaims needing her help necessary. Ichigo eyes her and smiles gladly to help her friend out replying. ''No problem! What are friends for! What's up Nya?''
Lettuce forms a smile really thankful of her. She explains her situation.
''This library is closing down?'' Berry questions confused. Ichigo was also puzzled too, never hearing a library being closed for no reason. She asks too. ''Why though? The building looks great.''
Lettuce eyes the library and agrees with them, just as confused on why. It all happened a few days ago with the library receiving a notice of their public place going to be replaced.
''Exactly and that's why someone wishes to close it down to turn it into a Net Café with free computer access.'' Lettuce explains to the two who blink more puzzled.
''Huh? That doesn't sound so bad.'' Berry comments not seeing anything wrong with that. Ichigo felt the same though she knows the library already has free Wi-Fi and computer access but also she knows this is a big deal for Lettuce.
Lettuce frowns a bit admitting the same though she still says. ''Well for people who don't enjoy books but people still enjoy them! Even if it's one book, even the simplest of books, then there's joy reading it.''
She looks back at the closed place, remembering her childhood not being a fond one. She was bully and picked at but this place was like her sanctuary away from those problems, a place to feel happy.
''This library is special to me. I fell in love within these selves and all the stories and details within those covers. It's also how I learn about making friends and falling in love.'' She says blushing not wishing for this place to leave knowing it will bring happiness to others.
Ichigo smiles walking up to her and pats her on the back declaring ''Lettuce-chan, I won't let this place you love be torn down!''
Lettuce startles blushing eyeing her as the red cherry head then proclaims with a big smile. ''We'll save it, no matter what Nya!''
''Ichigo-san.'' Lettuce mutters blushing, trying to not sob by her kindness. Ichigo nods smiling… though she sweat drops not sure what they can try. Berry hums thinking and gets an idea.
''Try to protest.'' Both older girls blink eyeing Berry who smiles further explaining. ''Like a boycott. Tasuku-kun did it once. I bet he could help us.''
Ichigo giggles at how smart Berry can be and declares in agreement. "Let's try it then Berry-chan!''
Berry smiles pulling out her phone and making the call.
Almost like a flash, Tasuku arrives to the spot thanks to his skates. He gladly accepts to help since it is Berry asking him and he also wanted to get to know these older girls who become friends with his friend. Ichigo hums smirking able to tell these two kids are more than friends.
Lettuce explains to him the situation to Tasuku's confusion, questioning it. ''Why would someone tear down a public place like this? It has a good ramp on the back.''
Ichigo and Lettuce sweat drop with Berry also sweat dropping asks her male friend. ''So can you help us Tasuku-kun?''
Tasuku hums thinking while he crosses his arms and responds with a big smile. ''You bet! I'll always help Berry.''
Berry blushes warmly. Ichigo purrs proclaiming out of joy for their romance. ''Ah you two are so cute together Nya!''
Both kids startle up with Tasuku laughing nervously while blushing.
Mint arrives to help but she's taken back by the number of people all gathering outside the library with protest broads demanding to open it up again and not to be torn down. She searches among the crowd to see Ichigo and the others and approaches them.
"Wow, you got this many people?'' She says rather astonished. Ichigo giggles replying much like Yugi would. ''Yup! This is going to work! Tasuku, you're an awesome little guy.''
Tasuku blushes by the praisement, happy to help.
Lettuce eyes Berry noticing her blushing towards him. She smiles asking her. ''You and Tasuku-san are close yes?''
Berry startles up a bit eyeing the green haired girl and nods. They were just little kids when they became friends and that hasn't changed.
''He's been my dearest and only friend. He knows me better than anyone.'' Berry says kindly and grateful. Things changed for her when her mother passed away, either distancing herself from other girls or focusing so hard to be perfect that the only one who hasn't left her side was Tasuku. He's always been there for her, always.
''I'm happy he's always there when I need him.'' Berry adds blushing, not sure what she would do without him. Lettuce smiles a bit, able to understand that eyeing Ichigo talking with Mint.
''Having friends like those are special.'' Lettuce begins to say recalling those girls who treated her poorly and cruel, making her think they were her friends but far from it. When she got her Mew Powers, all she thought about was revenge on them but Ichigo showed her otherwise, showing her kindness and concerned that not all of them could care to show. Ichigo, not just her, her fellow Mews became her true friends.
''If I haven't met Ichigo-san and the others, I would have never been happier or feel special among them.'' She adds smiling happily for all of them. ''They're like my books in a way; they mean the whole world to me.''
Berry smiles blushing able to agree with her; Ichigo and the others so far have been kind to her. Just then a familiar male voice speaks up. ''Huh, guess I'm a book too.''
Lettuce blushes extremely red turning to see Ryou staring at her.
''R-RYOU-SAN!'' She shouts overreacting but at the same time overjoyed to see him in her nervous attitude. Ryou smiles not sure why but when Lettuce acts like that she's much cuter. Ichigo sneaks up behind him and asks him firmly. ''Helping out Nya?''
Ryou staggers turning and gazes at the red cherry head, just commenting confident. ''Of course, and also figured out who was behind this place getting torn down.''
Lettuce blinks about to ask who but then another male voice speaks up. ''Such a gathering, Midorikawa.''
Everyone blinks as Lettuce turns and there Alan walks up to them with a book in his hand. She smiles uttering out. ''Alan-san!''
Ichigo hums eyeing the man pretty sure this is the friend of Lettuce's that Erika told her.
Ryou approaches him and greets him with a hand shake. ''You must be Reaper then, nice to meet you.''
Alan eyes him and smirks responding, accepting and shaking his hand. ''Likewise, Shirogane.''
Lettuce blushes watching surprised he came. She asked him to help out if he could, knowing he might be busy but he still came.
''I came to inspire the boycott with my reading, unless I'm needed?'' Alan asks the green haired girl with a smile. Lettuce blushes and responds. ''Of course! Any help to protect this place is important to me.''
Alan nods as he gathers the protestors and begins reading a drama novel with such passion and menace in his voice. Everyone is left stun by his voice and how he phrases words.
''Woah, he reads so almost frightening.'' Mint says rather creeped out. Ichigo nods but his voice was very… she heard it before.
''Oddly familiar though-'' She tries muttering out but then Alan finishes and tells Lettuce politely. ''Excuse me Midorikawa, something came up.''
Lettuce smiles thankful for his help and thanks him. ''Of course! I'll see you later then Alan-san.''
Alan nods and leaves. Lettuce still smiles while Ichigo hums still suspicious about him.
Berry smiles as the protesting is turning out well, everything is working out and nothing is going wrong. Though that was until a figure in the shadows watches them and snaps a pair of fingers
''Things are turning out pretty-'' She begins to say until suddenly a loud cry is heard. This alarms everyone with Ichigo muttering out. ''Maybe not Nya…''
Just then emerging out of the ground is a massive turtle monster Chimera Anima. It lets out a furious cry, attacking the crowd as they run for their lives. Ichigo and the others watch as this was not what they expected.
Their attempt to save Lettuce's special place might backfire. Will Ichigo and the others be able to stop the Chimera Anima before it's too late?
Commercial Break:
Lettuce: We can't let the library be destroyed by this monster!
Berry: I hope we can do this.
Ichigo and the others startle as the crowd run for their lives from the massive turtle Chimera Anima attacking their protest. Tasuku tries to grab Berry out of here but the crowd pushes him forward with no way to get away.
"W-why did that Chimera Anima came from?!'' Lettuce questions just as much as it attacking their protest. Ryou isn't sure as he secures the area and tells the girls. ''I'll lead the rest away from here! You girls deal with it!''
He runs off to make sure no one else comes back. Ichigo nods grabbing her Mew Pendant Necklace around her neck and announces determined. ''Girls, let's do this Nya!''
''Right Ichigo-san!'' Lettuce agrees as she, Mint and Berry pull out their pendants.
''Mew Mew Strawberry!'' Ichigo shouts kissing her pendant around her neck.
''Mew Mew Mint!'' Mint chants kissing her own.
''Mew Mew Lettuce!'' Lettuce calls out kissing her own.
''Mew Mew Berry!'' Berry cries out kissing her pendant last with all 4 girls declares loudly. ''METAMORPHOSIS!''
All four girls glow, wrapped in their own color ribbons, and transform into their Mew forms, posing heroically.
Pointing her finger forward at the monster, Mew Ichigo proclaims serious. ''I won't forgive the one trying to ruin Lettuce's hope in protecting the place she loves!''
Striking her cat pose, Mew Ichigo then announces happily and with a wink. ''For the Earth's Future, I'll be of Service Nya!''
The turtle-like Chimera Anima cries out sliding itself into its shell and it starts spinning rapidly, coming at them like Rapid Spin. The girls leap away in the last second by how incredibly fast the monster moved.
''It's fast for a giant turtle!'' Mew Mint proclaims rather taken back. Mew Lettuce remains calm knowing well they can't lose to it.
Mew Ichigo comes at the turtle, performing Ribbon Chidori Sharp Spear. The ribbon-like extending electrical attack strikes the shell of the turtle but does no damage, not even pierce it. She panics wildly.
''RIBBON MINT ECHO!'' Mew Mint shouts firing an energy shot but the arrow hits the shell and does no damage either.
''RIBBON LETTUCE RUSH!'' Mew Lettuce using her castanets to fire a burst of water from them, hitting the chimera but it also didn't do any damage.
''No good!'' Mew Berry points out realizing their attacks can't do anything. Mew Ichigo groans reminded of that fused Chimera Anima they fought that could deflect their attacks right back at them. Thank goodness this one can't do the same.
However the Chimera could still spin around rapidly and comes at them, even hovering off the ground. The girls panic dodging out of the way but the monster spins around and it manages to hit the cat girl across the back.
Mew Ichigo screams tossed onto the wall. She groans as the turtle spins moving right at her. The cat girl panics trying to move away but she wasn't going to move quickly on time.
Mew Berry sees this and reacts on impulse, leaping forward as she shouts. ''Look out Ichigo-san!''
The rabbit-cat girl with leaping speed tackles the cat girl out of the way just as the turtle slams into the wall and breaks through it with ease, leaving a massive hole behind. Mew Berry pants heavily with Mew Ichigo giggling and praises her petting her rabbit ears. ''Nice tackle Berry-chan!''
''T-thanks.'' Mew Berry mutters a bit dazed. Mew Lettuce smiles until she realized in horror what wall the Chimera went into.
''Not the library!'' She utters out dashing into the wall and indeed it was the inside of the library. The chimera roars, seeing the book shelves and approaching them.
Mew Lettuce slides in front of it and shouts holding forward her castanets forward.
''RIBBON LETTUCE RUSH PUMP!'' She shouts firing a greater powerful water blast at full force. The chimera withdraws back into its shell and the water blast hits it, not even budging it or pushing it nonetheless damaging it.
''It's not enough either?'' Mew Lettuce utters out shock and proceeds to fire another water blast, stopping the monster from taking another step towards the selves. The Chimera's shell starts spinning moving forward but slowly due to the water blast.
Mew Lettuce groans refusing to stop firing, not going to risk the books from being destroyed or worst by the monster. Most of all the effort her friends put to help her. They've been there for her, always willing to help without asking anything in return. To them, they mean everything to her.
''Ichigo-san, Ryou and everyone work hard to help me save my library.'' Mew Lettuce begins saying, holding her ground blasting the water more. The chimera just moves past the water blast with its spinning shell.
''I won't let you take away their kindness towards me!'' Mew Lettuce vows not giving up. However the chimera pushes out its tail still spinning in its shell and the tail smacks the Mew Mew onto the wall. She gasps in pain as the turtle comes out and crawls right at her, opening its jaw.
Mew Ichigo and the others enter the hole of the library to see this about to happen with the cat girl yelling in horror. ''Lettuce-chan!''
Mew Lettuce stirs weakly as the monster comes at her for the bite but just then its head is struck. It gasps in pain moving away, being cut by Blake and her katana and sheath.
The pink hair Mew Mew purrs dashing to the two and helps Mew Lettuce out.
''Blake-chan, you came!'' Mew Ichigo says smiling. Blake nods not having much to do and also she loves books and will protect a place that appreciates them. Though she was surprised Ichigo asked for HER help. She has to give that girl some credit; she's not dense.
''I'm surprise you know I like books.'' Blake comments astonish. Mew Ichigo just grins not far from empty minded from noticing the likes of people. After all, how else does Mint get the best tea from… herself but Ichigo gets her the biscuits she likes… after she makes her work.
Mew Lettuce sweat drops seeing the cat girl dazing in her own thoughts and speaks up, asking the other cat girl's help. ''Please help us.''
Blake eyes her and smiles replying. ''Gladly.''
The girls face the chimera still in pain but growls coming at them.
Blake engages the Chimera, dodging a swipe as she forms a Shadow and both her and her clone slash both its sides with their katanas. The cuts connect sending off spark from them. The chimera is forced to withdraw back to its shell as Blake fires rapid shots, mixing in different Dust attacks but none could damage the shell.
Mew Lettuce watches this having already confirmed this monster's defense is too great… but then it hit her. Ichigo fought a similar creature before and with the Blue Knight's making a dent to its shield gave her the chance to defeat it. Lettuce needs a precise shot to make this work.
''Then I'll try it.'' Lettuce proclaims focusing, going to use her new power. A see-through green colored fish-like visor eye piece materializes on Lettuce's left eye.
''Woah!'' Mew Berry comments surprised.
Through the target marker, she could see where to hit the Chimera. Mew Lettuce takes aim as Blake fires a gravity dust shot, causing the chimera to be lifted up so it won't come charging in.
''RIBBON LETTUCE SNIPER SHOT!'' Taking her shot, Mew Lettuce shouts and fires a more focus and even more powerful stream water blast so fast that it not only hits the Chimera Anima but penetrates through its defense. The chimera yells out with its shell destroyed.
Mew Berry is taken back by the precise force while Mew Mint whistles impressed. Blake also smiles impress while Mew Ichigo hugs her and praises Lettuce. ''Amazing Lettuce-chan!''
Mew Lettuce blushes by her leader's words though she tells her. ''Ichigo-san, this is your chance!''
Mew Ichigo startles and nods firmly. Summoning her Strawberry Bell, the cat girl leads up over the damaged turtle monster and points her heart-shaped bell at it with sparks of pink electricity coursing from it and her hands.
''RIBBON CHIDORI STRAWBERRY CHECK!'' Mew Ichigo shouts firing a Ribbon Strawberry Check with Ribbon Chidori coursing through the blast. The electrifying magical blast hits the Chimera and destroys it instantly reverting it back to a normal undamaged turtle while the Para-Para is eaten by Masha.
Mew Ichigo lands on the ground and declares smiling. ''And that's that Nya!''
The other girls nod until Blake sense something and turns, demanding upset. ''Come out coward, I know you're watching us.''
The Mew Mews blink until a voice speaks up. ''How dull. To think you girls won.''
The girls startles turning. Walking out from behind a shelf is a male figure. He was a short hair lengthened feminine faced boy wearing an elegant school uniform.
''So you're the one behind this?'' Mew Ichigo questions upset. Mew Lettuce frowns never seeing him before but why do all of this? What does he gain destroying this one library?
Watching in the shadows, Arkham observes humming. He chuckles in his head thinking the Faunas cat sensed him instead.
''Why would you do such a thing to this place?!'' Blake demands angrily pointing her katana's gun holder at him. The male eyes it unimpressed before answering. ''None of your concerns. As for whom I am, you may call me Sweet Juliet and you met my colleague already.''
Mew Mint startles immediately questioning upset. "You mean that Happy Child kid?''
The so-called Sweet Juliet did not answer almost bored. Mew Lettuce eyes him even more puzzled by his motives.
''Why are you two attacking these places?'' She asks kindly wanting to understand his aim while Mew Berry actually asks just as puzzled. ''And more importantly how are you controlling the Chimera Animas?''
Mew Ichigo nods rapidly also very weird how that Happy Child could do the same.
''That's none of your concerns for now.'' Sweet Juliet states with a dull expression. He turns around and proclaims waving once back handed. ''Until we cross again, Mew Mews. Hopefully not so soon.''
Blake glares firing shots at him but her energy bullets suddenly hit onto the ground to the girls shock and then without them realizing it he was gone.
"… I see your world has how Ruby would put it, weirdos.'' Blake slowly comments glaring at the direction Sweet Juliet. Mew Ichigo nods just replying. ''Yep Nya!''
The girls leave the library knowing people will come back to check what happened with the cat girl picking up the turtle to take him somewhere much safer.
Coming out from his shadows, Arkham rubs the chin under his mask and just chuckles, more amused by this newbie villain group emerging.
Things calm down as the library will not be replaced and continue to operate normally. Ryou smiles at Lettuce, praising her hard work which annoyed Ichigo and pointed out that Blake helped too who did not want any part of this.
''Thank you all for everything!'' Lettuce thanks Ichigo and everyone for their help. Ichigo giggles gladly to have helped. Blake eyes the library and smiles remembering when she was young before joining White Fang when she went to the library and used every moment she had to read the books she loved reading. Even if those times were naïve, it made her the person who she is now.
''Even if people prefer computers and electronic devices, there are still those who enjoy books.'' Blake begins to say knowing people prefer other stuff over books but the same can be said for those who still enjoy them. ''Just holding them and flipping the pages is a feeling that can't be described.''
Blushing a bit trying to not show it, Blake then adds happily. ''And reading regardless how you do it is information that will never vanish from this world.''
Lettuce smiles warmly happy to know people still appreciate the joy that books bring to their well-being.
''I agree with you Blake-san.'' She says happily thankful for her help. Blake just nods smiling. Ichigo giggles proclaiming with a taunt. ''Tell her where the romance Ninja fantasy stories are at Nya.''
Blake blushes extremely red. Lettuce giggles until she blinks and answers. ''Actually there is a book she could read-''
''Show me!'' Blake immediately demands with rosy cheeks. Lettuce just giggles at her excitement and responds rather sad. ''Of course! I just wish Alan-san didn't left.''
''We can get to know him later Nya.'' Ichigo suggests also wanting to know more about the guy. Berry nods though it was weird he left just as the chimera came. She hums more puzzled as she leaves to her home as well as Ichigo.
In a dark corner in the library, Alan observes turning to a page on a book.
''Books hold information that us humans carve for…'' He starts quoting a sentence on a book. ''But it also reveals our true nature.''
Alan chuckles amused that Lettuce almost met a dreadful end and even if he could save her… it would likely ruin his secret.
''My apology, Midorikawa, but I have no intentions to reveal myself to you or anyone…'' He begins to say slowly striking a grin. Alan then adds with a sinister amusing voice. ''Not yet though.''
What is Arkham's plot and who are this group the Mew Mews will likely confront again?

Noticing that Berry still lacks the proper fighting training, Ichigo took her to Pudding who had work in setting up a Dojo to harden one's fighting skill… and well circus acts but Pudding is having troubles with it as a fighter's training place opened up and causing bad name to Pudding's place. Determined to help her friend, Ichigo plans to make Pudding's Dojo THE place to train. Will things work out well?
Berry groans unable to hit Ichigo: Too… quick.
Ichigo: Trust me Berry-chan, I'm not that quick unlike others I know but maybe Pudding-chan might help you on that.
Berry: You think so?
Ichigo: Yep Nya!
Pudding: BIG PROBLEM ICHIGO-ONEE-CHAN! HELP PUDDING NA NO DA!
Ichigo sighs: Don't worry Pudding-chan; we're going to help you out!
Berry sweat drops: Really?

Today's chapter is just another chapter to show off a Mew, another RWBY member (because) and of course another Crusader.

SO I have some slight bad news: The DKR Side Story I am working on will be completed by the end of the month or at worst the start of August.
I will spoil it... it is a Kamen Rider thing and I have already spoil what it could be based on about that I'm really excited to do.
