Hello to all, this is Episode 20 of the second Arc of Volume 5: à La Mode l'entrée!
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 5: Episode 20: The Hate for Heroines! Arkham's Plot!
In the previous episode of DKR:
Berry began school like any ordinary day, thinking it will be a good one unaware till too late that the Saint Rose Crusaders targeted her school for an experiment part of their master plan. Berry's friend Tasuku managed to see them and not sure who to turn to, he went to Ichigo for help. Unable because school, Yugi could as the two headed off.
Berry would later learned the truth and be cornered by the crusaders and their army of Chimeras. She transformed, using what she learned from the other Mews and having her perfect state of mind only to almost get kill if not for Tasuku saving her followed by Yugi. He took the two, Tasuku unconscious by the save, and gave a few words to the frightened Berry about not being perfect but having courage to protect something more important.
Yugi confronted the crusaders though unable to use his full powers because of the hypnotized students and teachers. He tried to fight his best until Berry, finally realizing his words, jumped into the battle and unlocked her full potential. With Ucha's powers and her own, Mew Berry's full potential defeated the Chimeras and the crusaders were forced to retreat by the Dragon Knight's frightening stare. Mew Berry felt happy finally believing in herself but things also got awkward with Tasuku, awaken, learning the truth of Berry.
The Saint Roses worried about their plans until Arkham appeared before them, promising to assist them to their end goal.
What is the Saint Rose's grand plan and what is Arkham aiming for?

The Saint Rose Crusaders, those with faces shown, are all clearly in shock to see the masked man Arkham, now taking a sit on his cape physically taking the form of a chair. He had one leg over the other leg, chuckling with one hand held by the handle holding on his head.
"You're one of the Dark Lord's men.'' Royal Highness questions the masked man who responds in a hilarious tone. ''Hmm I would prefer being called an ally to all kinds of villains but yes.''
The boys glare more annoyed with Sweet Juliet demands puzzled still bored. ''How did you learn about our base?''
Arkham snickers sinister simply replying. ''You children are so easy to stalk and follow.''
Happy Child groans upset as Blue Bayou gets pissed and comes charging, only to be stopped by a bladed shaped end of Arkham's cape right at his neck. Royal Highness pulls his comrade back with his telekinesis with the Duke questioning. ''What do you want then?''
''To help you.'' Arkham just blunts it still sitting relaxed. The group is puzzled by this with the masked man proclaiming already aware of their plot. ''You wish to brainwash Tokyo and get rid of the Mew Mews yes? I can help you.''
Royal Highness adjusts his monocle and demands. ''Then what do you want from us?''
Arkham chuckles more and just says. ''Nothing. Only to help my fellow villains.''
The majority of the Crusaders did not buy him. From what little they gather from the Dark Lord's forces, Arkham is freshly new and unlike the currently unknown the Meister, Arkham is MUCH more dangerous.
Blue Bayou walks up to Arkham and calls him off coldly. "And why the hell should we believe you?"
Arkham looks at this child and simply snickers. "Well because I can either help you or make your lives harder, Fuji."
Blue Bayou startles heavily as Arkham chuckles as he finds himself already behind him and standing with his cape reverted back with such movement, almost unseen like a ghost. "And I know the rest of your names too..."
Arkham then walks up to the Duke and whispers something. The masked leader of the Crusader flinches partly as Arkham leans back and says. "So little boys can accept my services or well... misfortune happens."
The other Saint Roses have faces of worry, even Sweet Juliet. Even with their combine powers, they know this man is dangerous.
''Like Blue Bayou said, we don't need your-'' Royal Highness begins to protest, not going to tolerate his blackmail, only for the Duke's hand to get in front of him. This startles him as their leader seemingly wishes to listen. Arkham hums, really impressed their leader is not afraid then.
''I can get inside the base of the Mew Mews and get you the better means to brainwash all of Tokyo.'' Arkham just explains sniggering. Royal Highness didn't buy this but the Duke did, proclaiming the offer. ''Very well. We'll accept your help.''
This shocks the rest of the Crusaders with Royal Highness questioning his leader. ''You sure Duke?''
The Duke didn't bother facing his comrade and tells him firmly on their goal. ''It's either this or failed. Failure is not an option.''
''… As you wish.'' Royal Highness submits, also feeling like they have no choice if they want to achieve their goals. The other crusaders could not protest and agree. Arkham claps his hand once chuckling before declaring. ''Splendid. Prepare to have Tokyo under the palm of your hands.''
The Duke nods letting him do his work. Arkham bows and walks away, seemingly vanishing but in fact he hid in the shadows still in the building.
''Now then…'' The masked man says mentally, going after his real target. Arkham walks inside a room, closing the door to look at the old woman staring at the blank screen. He hums chuckling as he speaks to her. ''And you, miss? What do you want?''
The woman turns and slowly smirks.
The next day almost all of the Mew Mews including the bosses and Tasuku are celebrating for Berry's first fight and win as well as her finally mastery her powers. Berry giggles a bit as Ichigo even brought a gift from Yugi, being a board game they can play today. Berry giggles, liking that idea lot.
''I'm proud of you Berry-chan!'' Ringo expresses hugging her playfully. Berry blushes warmly by everyone throwing this party to her but she feels underwhelmed.
''T-thank you everyone. It feels strange being congratulated for barely anything.'' She admits unease about all of this.
''Nonsense Na No Da!'' Pudding protests grinning like a monkey. The other girls agree with Zakuro stating with a small smile. ''You've grown in such a way is important for us Mew Mews.''
''And personal growth too.'' Jenny also comments present in the party, blowing through the party horn. Berry blushes really thankful for them all, not feeling this close to so many people.
''Thank you everyone…'' Berry utters out kindly for all of them before eyeing her best friend, blushing redder. ''And also to let Tasuku in!''
''Well the kid had guts to save you.'' Ryou says with his arms crossed, not having a choice after Yugi told him to trust him. He was going to anyway, seeing he was willing to risk his life for his friend.
Tasuku got a bit serious before uttering out acting strong. ''I got plenty of guts!''
Berry giggles by this. Tasuku blushes trying to act like that's not bothering him. He then eyes the girls and says with a respectful bow. ''Also thank you all of you for helping my friend.''
''Of course.'' Lettuce says with the other girls agreeing.
''You should be thanking Ichigo I supposed.'' Mint says admitting it though relief that certain red cherry head isn't here. Berry nods knowing this better than anyone. She would not be here if not for her… which she finds puzzling why she's not here. Ichigo was the one to tell her to come here.
''Where is Ichigo-san?'' Berry asks curious. Erika informs her. ''She's off picking up my brother.''
Berry startle a bit before confirming it from spying Erika on her date. ''Oh right, you have a brother Erika-san.''
Erika nods before adding. ''And he was Ichigo's Ex-boyfriend.''
Berry blinks, having recalled something like that when she asked Ichigo about Erika's brother.
''Is that a good idea?'' She asks hoping that her meeting with him doesn't cause problems with her current relationship. She also owes Yugi a lot for helping her the other day and she could tell those two make a good pair.
Erika smiles at her worries and ensures her. ''It's complicated but they're on very good terms. Don't worry.''
Berry nods hoping so. Tasuku blinks surprised as he questions at the blonde headed girl. ''It's amazing your teacher already dated two people huh Berry?''
''Eek?! I-I guess so.'' Berry yells out nervously. Tasuku blushes eyeing her, staggering a bit looking at her. The others notice this and smile a bit that Tasuku will reveal his feelings for Berry.
''Berry… Um…'' Tasuku starts uttering out which causes Berry to turn to face him. He stumbles on his words eyeing her cute face, puzzle at what he's going to tell her. Tasuku gulps and just utters out, changing his mind. ''I mean well I should wait outside before I take you home.''
Berry startles thinking he was going to say something else but before she could ask him Tasuku skates off in a hurry. She sweat drops and sighs. She feels a bit of blame, wanting to say something important to him but she can't even say it.
She eyes the girls able to tell she wants to tell them something and Berry sighs expressing while her face turns red. ''… Tasuku-kun is someone special to me, but I can't… I'm not sure about the risk of becoming more.''
Zakuro does agree with her though she advises her with a small smile. ''Trust your heart and let it lead you.''
Berry eyes her blushing. Mint giggles agreeing with her while praising the older girl. ''Zakuro-onee-chan is the smartest I know!''
Zakuro sweat drops blushing. Jenny sighs smiling as she changes subject. ''Hope Ichigo comes soon. That way we can finally deal with the Crusaders.''
The other girls blink with Lettuce asking. ''You found out where they are?''
Jenny giggles eyeing Ryou and Keiichiro who nod having been told of her plan and her discovery.
''Yup! But we'll go there as a team so no rush.'' She tells the group wanting this surprise assault to turn out well.
Berry nods blushing, really surprised how Jenny figure out where they are though where she's curious.
Erika just smiles silently… though she still feels strange. Ever since Berry became a Mew Mew, she's felt this ominous sensation and this feeling isn't towards the Crusaders. No, it's something else dark that even her visions don't wish to show her. It's something… malicious, evil, cruel; something that hides itself almost aware of the Inner Scorpion. Erika isn't sure what this is but it's bad.
Ryou leaves the room to outside, watching Tasuku getting upset by kicking his skate shoe at a tree trunk. He sighs figuring as much calling out to him. ''Kid.''
Tasuku staggers nervously turning to face him. Ryou, with his arms crossed, already knew why the kid was trying to say but got too scared to go all the way through. So it's only fair to help this clueless kid, telling him. ''You said you have guts, so you best not regret the choice you're about to make.''
''I-I don't know what-'' Tasuku begins to protests nervously only for Ryou to advise serious. ''Man up! And be honest with her and yourself before it's too late.''
''…'' Tasuku had no respond to this, wanting to tell her his feelings for her so badly.
Ryou sighs at the clueless kid, waving as he walks back inside.
''Berry…'' Tasuku mutters her name, alone. He has to man up… but could he bring himself to say those words? Should he tell her, but would she return those feelings back. He knows Berry than anyone so… it's hard to say.
''It seems you're confused about even your own feelings.'' Tasuku blinks turning by the voice calling out and startles as it was the Duke. The masked hoodie man raises a hand towards him and declares. ''Allow me to help you.''
Tasuku stares as he feels strange and suddenly falls under power, dropping unconscious.
Arkham watches while chuckling, eyeing the café. Now for the fun to start.
In the Tokyo Airport, Ichigo hums waiting with Yugi, still carrying the egg backpack. Boy was it weird when he was being checked by security.
"You didn't have to come, Yugi-kun?'' Ichigo asks a bit embarrassed he even came. Yugi would agree with her but this is something he too had to do.
''… I feel obligated to come, Ichigo-kun.'' Yugi responds needing to do this just as much as she would. Ichigo smiles a bit thanking him. ''Thank you Nya.''
Yugi nods smiling. The two wait together with the tricolor head eyeing her. He blushes thinking how much Ichigo has strong feelings for Masaya and as much as he shouldn't worry, her love for Ichigo shouldn't change.
''If…'' Shaking his head on the last words, Yugi snaps out and says with confidence in his words. ''When we drop Masaya-kun with Erika-san, I want to go out with you.''
Ichigo blushes bright red, speechless. Yugi blushes beginning to say. ''So…''
Immediately Ichigo hugs the tricolor head and yells out happily. ''YES NYA!''
Yugi smiles brightly hugging her back actually lifting her up. Ichigo giggles happy when Yugi shoes this kind of backbone. It's-
''Ichigo.'' Ichigo widens her eyes, sweat dropping heavily by a familiar voice. Yugi was the same carefully putting her down and the two turn to be staring down at Masaya Aoyama, blinking baffled.
''Masaya-kun…'' Ichigo mutters out, not seeing him for so long since he left. She hesitates to walk forward. Yugi sees this and sighs smiling as he slightly pushes her forward so she can hug him. Grateful for her boyfriend, Ichigo leaps forward by the push and hugs Masaya.
Yugi just smiles knowing Ichigo better than anyone that she wants to hug him. Ichigo hugs him a good moment before pulling away blushing.
''It's been a long time Nya!'' Ichigo says to Masaya happy to see him looking well. Masaya smiles softly nodding. ''Yea…''
He then turns to eye the purple eyes staring at them chuckling. Ichigo watches Masaya staring at Yugi who blinks awkwardly and she too not wants another fight.
''Yugi.'' Masaya just says rather sad, not having spoken to him not since the fight against Deep Blue. He isn't sure how but he was able to see everything that Deep Blue had done that day and how Yugi did his hardest to save him. Knowing he could have just killed him to prevent any more death, Yugi chose the most difficult path to make Ichigo smile.
''Masaya-kun. How's been your studies?'' Yugi asks wondering if his goal to save the world has made the next step. Masaya just smiles glad he remembered and responds somewhat taken back when he began studying there. ''Pretty okay at the most part. England is a different world.''
Yugi nods figuring as much. Masaya eyes him with straight face and says something he should have long ago. ''Thank you, for protecting her.''
The tricolor head startles up a bit, almost not understanding what he meant but he did. He smiles a bit, replying back kindly. ''I love her. I will always be there for her like she's always has my back.''
Masaya sighs figuring as much nodding. Ichigo blushes eyeing the two, right in the middle of both. She finds this so awkward like extremely.
She coughs up and changes subject. ''A-ANYWAY, Erika-chan is waiting to see you.''
Masaya snaps out and nods admitting he wants to see his sister again. Ichigo giggles knowing him too well.
''Then let's go. I also want to-'' Ichigo begins to say wanting to make it to Berry's party until he phone rings. She blinks pulling it out and responds. ''Hello?''
It was Ryou on the other line, telling her a Chimera Anima is attacking downtown.
''Seriously now?! But-'' Ichigo starts to protest but Ryou just orders her to go there now, taunting if she's even the leader of Tokyo Mew Mew. She sighs and responds. ''I'll be there.''
She hangs up sighing. Yugi was about to ask if it's the Crusaders but Masaya beat him to it. ''The Saint Roses?''
Yugi blinks as did Ichigo. Masaya explains himself smiling. ''Erika told me already.''
Ichigo giggles figuring as much. She then says preparing to head out. ''Most likely. I gotta go. Yugi-kun, could you-''
Yugi just smirks interrupting and says happily. ''Sure! Kick their butts, Strawberry Kitten!''
Ichigo giggles kissing him and runs off in a hurry to an isolated area outside to transform.
''… Strawberry Kitten?'' Masaya questions gazing at the tricolor head. Yugi grins replying. ''I'm also a cat person.''
''Of course you are.'' Masaya mutters as the two boys head out.
The other girls got the alarm of the Chimera Anima attack with Ryou already calling Ichigo to get there.
''I guess we have to deal with this monster attack first.'' Jenny declares upset that this might be a trap from the Saint Roses. Erika nods agreeing and she might not have any choice.
The other girls nod but then Lettuce speaks her legs wobbly. ''Um, I have to use the restroom first.''
The girls sweat drops with Mint telling her. ''Go-go, just don't take your sweet time.''
Ryou, smiling, pats Lettuce on the head who blushes redder and rushes off to the bathroom.
The other girls headed off as Ryou walks towards the lab, unaware someone was spying.
He arrives to the new hideout base with multiple computer screens, showing news report of the Chimera Anima attack and live camera feeds of the attack happening. Keiichiro was already facing the monitors.
''Any clue what those Crusaders are aiming for this time?'' Ryou asks his partner staring at the monster causing problems. Keiichiro isn't sure yet as he has all the security cameras and any other detection system in Tokyo on any sign of the Crusaders.
''I have the whole area on screen. Whatever they might be up to, we'll know.'' Keiichiro informs him now only a matter of time to wait. Ryou nods watching… until a voice speaks up. ''Interesting backdoor you two made.''
The two stagger heavily turning to see Arkham leaning on the door, his eyes glowing joyfully evil.
''Mine I come in?'' Arkham declares walking forward as his cape moves on its own like demonic, sharp bladed wings. Ryou and Keiichiro just stare in terror, one of them about to communicate to the Mew Mews but then Arkham dashes at them viciously.
Meanwhile, Lettuce sighs walking out from the bathroom just noticing the lights were out.
''What's going on?'' She questions puzzled but before she could do anything else the door of the café starts banging. She blinks approaching it. Hesitating at first, Lettuce asks opening the door up. ''Hello?''
On the other side was Judai, saluting as he greets her. ''Yo!''
Lettuce blinks surprised uttering out. ''Judai-san? What are you doing here?''
Judai chuckles nervously explaining his bizarre reason being here. ''Wanted to buy food for my friends. Kinda have to after Asuka said she wanted to come along but I said no because it was late but she said she can take care of herself and I said-''
Before he could resume they hear a scream getting both of them alarmed.
''That was Keiichiro-san!'' Lettuce yells out in shock. Judai, remaining calm somewhat, just tells her putting on his Duel Disk. ''Transform Lettuce.''
Lettuce nods having a weird feeling about it. Pulling out her Mew Pendant, Lettuce chants kissing it. ''Mew Mew Lettuce, Metamorphosis!''
Lettuce transforms into her Mew form as she leads Judai to the backdoor hideout.
Meanwhile Arkham had tossed Keiichiro to the wall hard while Ryou grunting on the ground in pain. The masked man ignores him proceeding to place a device into their systems and soon the monitors and systems are now being hijacked by the Crusaders.
''All set.'' Arkham declares doing his part of the job. Now the crusaders have the means to brainwash Tokyo. Of course he wasn't done now walking to a strong safe. His cape slashes the safe and rips it open.
''Now then…'' Arkham begins to proclaim reaching and grabbing a small container with the shiny glowing Mew Aqua and a Mew Pendant. ''I'll be taking these.''
Seeing this furious, Ryou comes charging at him. Arkham didn't bother turning as his cape reacts for him, smacking and tossing Ryou into a large computer drive, crashing and falling forward.
Mew Lettuce arrives just as that happened, screaming in horror. ''RYOU!''
Arkham staggers a bit turning to see the Mew Mew running to Ryou's unconscious body.
''Lettuce is still here and-'' Arkham begins to say but then he panics sensing something. Coming from his side is Elemental HERO Neos swinging a punch at him. Arkham quickly reacts holding a card and Evil HERO Malicious Edge manifests to intercept Neos' attack. The Evil HERO then counters back firing his sharp needle attacks but Neos chops them one by one.
Both Neos and Malicious Edge cross blows with multiple physical strikes, pushing the other back hard. Arkham breathes grunting as he gazes his golden eyes towards Judai, his orange-teal color eyes glowing back.
''Judai…'' Arkham mutters out coldly with Judai replying with a smirk. ''Pretty sure you didn't come here for the cake, Arkham.''
Chuckling at his teasing nature, Arkham responds back now sounding humorous. "What can I say? I prefer a bloody meal.''
Judai glares at the respond while Mew Lettuce is taken back by what is even going on.
The Mew Mews arrive at the scene to see the Chimera attacking a few buildings and cars.
''There it is!'' Mew Pudding points out the obvious with the others sweat dropping. Mew Berry just giggles announcing heroic. ''Ready girls!''
The other Mew Mews smile at her words with Mew Mint teasing the rabbit-cat girl. ''Taking too many pages on Ichigo huh?''
Mew Berry blushes not meaning but the girls didn't mind it agreeing. Right away the magical girls leap into action at the Chimera Anima. Of course this was all a setup by the Saint Rose Crusaders watching them.
''Those Mew Mews right on time.'' Happy Child states with a grin, finding them so obvious. Just then Royal Highness gets a beep from a phone-like device. He nods showing this to the Duke who nods proclaiming. ''Arkham kept his promise. We have full control of the Mew Mew's surveillance.''
''And since they have all connections to all of Tokyo, now we do too.'' Sweet Juliet reveals rather surprised Arkham pull it off. They wouldn't be able to try this as they'll be heavily overpowered even more so that the Aliens tried the same thing and failed.
However Arkham did the job with the Duke ordering his second-in-command. ''Royal, the honor is yours.''
Royal Highness obeys his leader's command and raises his arms to the side, triggering the phone device. The Duke then places his hand onto Royal Highness' back, harnessing his powers with his own into the link psychic computers in their base.
''Let the hypnosis commence.'' Royal Highness proclaims now focusing his power through the phone and the Duke into their hideout and spread the mental thought throughout all of Japan's systems.
All the television and computer screens as well as radio, cellphone and alarms were possessed by Royal Highness triggering the brainwashing progress. Every normal human being falls under the powerful brainwashing with only one thought: Worship the Crusaders and kill the Mew Mews, the enemies of the world.
While this was going on, the Mew Mews just defeated the Chimera Anima with Mew Berry performing the final blow. She giggles proud on her second attempt.
''That must have done it.'' Mew Ringo says smiling. Just then the girls notice a crowd of people approaching them. Giggling that they want to thank them, Mew Mint speaks for the team. ''No need to thank us Tokyo, your heroines will always-''
Just then someone in the crowd threw a rock right at the bird Mew Mew across the head. Everyone startles in horror by this.
''Mint!'' The Mew Mews shout running to her aid before Mew Mint fell backwards, her head bleeding slightly. She touches her somewhat bloody head and utters in shock. ''W-what the heck?!''
''KILL THEM!'' The Mew Mews look at the crowd throwing more rocks at them only for Mew Erika to manifest her barrier to protect the group. They watch as people swing bats or anything sharp or hard to hit them, bouncing off from the barrier. ''KILL THE MEW MEWS!''
Mew Erika quickly drops her barrier as the girls leap away just as police officers shooting at them now. Mew Plum deflects the shots the best she could, all of them not believing the horror of this scene.
''BURN THEM! SHOOT THEM! KILL THEM!'' The crowd chant in union all trying to kill the heroines. To think the city these heroines protect are brand as their enemies.
The Mew Mews were left speechless forced to leap away, trying to get away from the crowd who continues throwing rocks and even a cop shooting at them. The girls could only panic in terror, forced to split apart, while the Saint Rose Crusaders watch with delight on their face.
Tokyo is now against Tokyo Mew Mew! Will our heroines survive?
Commercial Break:
Berry: No why is this even happening? Why?!
Ichigo: Please be okay girls. I'm coming Nya!
Mew Ichigo leaps over the rooftops trying to reach where the other girls are dealing with the Chimera Anima. However, as she was getting there, all screens in Tokyo began to release a strange noise followed by a strange image of what resembles the Duke with the words ''Obey''.
The cat girl sees this and just stares puzzled, muttering out. ''What the heck Nya?''
Just as she was running, her cat ears pick up something and she quickly gets on all fours, just dodging a bullet shot that hits above where she stood. This alarms the cat girl examine the bullet that hit the ground and then highlights shine over her. She turns to see a helicopter above her with a sniper taking aim at her.
''Don't move a single step, evil cat!'' One of police officers calls out to her warning her to not move. Mew Ichigo just blinks uttering out puzzled. ''… Evil Cat Nya?''
Just by speaking the sniper takes another shot which Mew Ichigo dodges by throwing herself to the right. She panics and runs for it on all fours while the sniper continues shooting down at her while she dodges the shots.
''WHY ARE THE POLICE SHOOTING AT ME NYA!'' Mew Ichigo yells in horror at running for her life.
In the train station, they were in a mess with the trains not responding. Yugi and Masaya were waiting with the tricolor having been trying to call Ichigo sensing her aura in danger, more so with what's happening on the news with literally everyone on board in killing the Mew Mews.
''What the heck is going on?'' Masaya questions with a worrying expression, hoping Ichigo and Erika are okay.
Yugi still tries calling Ichigo but no answer. He grunts upset, certain she's in that type of bad danger. Masaya eyes him and knows he wants to go, telling him. ''Go. I know you have a better chance than me.''
The tricolor head eyes him and smiles nodding.
''Thanks-'' Yugi begins to say about to head out but then his phone rings. He blinks eyeing who it was and it's Jonouchi. He blinks more answering it. ''Jonouchi-kun?''
''YUGI HELP US PLEASE! THOSE DEMONS FROM BEFORE ARE BACK!'' Jonouchi's voice yells from the other side as the darkened blond headed ducks for cover as everyone else is in the middle of fighting those Dark World monsters. Yugi staggers to hear that and realizes who sent them, muttering his voice. ''Arkham-kun…''
Still ducking, Alicia in Valkyria Mode puts up her shield and takes the phone from Jonouchi. She yells at the tricolor head to worry about Ichigo and her friends. ''Forget about us Yugi! You're seeing what people are doing?''
Jonouchi was just about to tell him slightly as Ryan comes in and says beside Alicia. ''Why is everyone declaring the Mew Mews as the bad guys?''
Just then Reign-Beaux, Overlord of Dark World comes down with his massive axe weapon only to get intercepted and blocked by Ichigo in his Bankai form.
''The hell should we know? All we know is everyone has gone crazy and Momomiya and her friends need us.'' Kurosaki shouts from his end pushing back the monster with Tensa Zangetsu and then he swings and fires an unseen Getsuga Tensho, destroying the monster.
''YOU COULD DO THAT?!'' Weiss's voice is heard having witness him transforming and moving with such insane speed. Kurosaki snickers at that responding. ''Told you! I'm no peasant!''
''... So yea, we're in a tight spot ya know!'' Naruto yells from his end creating as many clones to smack the army of Dark World monsters he's fighting.
Ruby, slashing down a few with her scythe, runs in between Alicia and Ryan and tells Yugi. ''Don't come though! Usagi is trying to find Ichigo right now!''
Indeed Usagi had been running back to Tokyo to help her cousin, even warning her friends of the chaos.
''Yugi, go get your kitty cat! We got this!'' Ed yells from his end transmuting walls and spikes to hold back the monsters.
Yugi hesitates for a moment. He needs to find Ichigo but he also needs to help his friends. If one of them gets hurt because of him, then he wouldn't forgive himself.
Masaya notices his struggle and breathes calmly and taps his shoulder. Yugi snaps out eyeing him as he suggests. "Yugi-san, let me go reach Ichigo. I know you can help your friends quickly to get back to her.''
''You sure Masaya-kun?'' Yugi asks him knowing he hasn't done anything like this since being the Blue Knight. He's not even sure he could become that form again though Atem told him he should after the Mind Crush he did on Deep Blue.
Masaya just gives him a serious face, wanting to help. That was enough to convince Yugi who nods back trusting him.
"I'll be back soon!'' Yugi declares from the phone and to Masaya, running off fast still carrying his egg backpack.
Masaya watches him leave as he too runs, needing to find Ichigo. Thinking back, he screwed up letting his overprotection and jealously gets to him which causes Deep Blue to surface. If not for his weakness, maybe he and Ichigo- No, he has accepted long ago that Ichigo loved Yugi. Even so, Masaya is thankful for her and will always do his best to protect her like he's always has.
''Ichigo, even though you want to be with him, I still want to protect you.'' Masaya says mentally, vowing to make things right as his body glows blue.
Judai gazes serious as Neos clashes with Malicious Edge as Arkham stares back with his arms crossed… though his briefly narrows his sight towards Mew Lettuce checking on the unconscious blond headed.
''Ryou, please be okay!'' Mew Lettuce pleads while trying to wake him up. Ryou was deeply unconscious as was Keiichiro. Arkham chuckles at this and says. ''Oh those two will live… for now.''
Mew Lettuce turns staring upset towards that man. Arkham looks down at her as he adds ominous yet with a gloomy tone. ''You should be more worry about your friends.''
This shocks the Mew Mew and Judai. Arkham further explains now with a cruel, humorous voice. ''Right now they must be going through their hardest challenge and might die.''
Judai glares angrily, only thinking this might be Arkham's doing. He eyes Mew Lettuce and tells her. ''Lettuce-chan, let me worry about your bosses. Go help Ichigo-chan and the others!''
''Judai-san.'' Mew Lettuce utters disquiet to leave him alone to face this man but Judai was dead serious about it, once more telling her with a small smirk. ''Go! Arkham and I got a match to settle and then learn what the hell he is up to this time! Trust me.''
Mew Lettuce eyes him concern but ultimately nods strongminded. She eyes Ryou and prays he's okay. She soon runs out of the lab in a hurry to check up on her friends, hoping they too are okay.
Now alone, Arkham chuckles even more sinister.
''That was touching. I can't deny a chance to settle our disappointed last duel.'' Arkham taunts what Judai told her, admitting his own desires to duel and crush Judai. The hero duelist cracks a smile at his reply and simply responds with a straight face while smirking. ''Then get your game on.''
Arkham sniggers at his respond and replies back excitedly. ''Gladly.''
Judai activates his Duel Disk as Arkham summons his own from darkness.
''DUEL!'' Judai and Arkham declare, drawing their top 5 cards and commences their duel.
Duel Screen: Judai Yuki: 4000LP vs. Arkham: 4000LP
Arkham snickers telling Judai. ''I'll go first.''
Judai doesn't say much just giving him the nod.

Chuckling, Arkham declares beginning his turn. ''Then let us begin again. My draw!''
He draws his top card and snickers once more, his eyes gleaming with delight. Judai waits what he's planning. Likely going to try a Fusion for an Evil HERO or a large backrow of surprises, or-
''I end my turn.'' Judai staggers with a shocking expression as Arkham ended his turn.
Duel Screen: Turn 2_ Judai: 4000LP H: 5 / Arkham: 4000LP H: 5
Chuckling, Arkham asks with a humorous tone. ''What's wrong? Surprised?''
Judai glares annoyed though Yubel, manifesting in spirit form with arms crossed, tells him firmly. ''He's playing you Judai. Don't get it under your skin.''
He nods agreeing with his partner but the annoying part is the empty field he left himself.
''I know but I still have to attack him.'' Judai says not having a choice but to go through with Arkham's trap. Yubel sadly agrees though she warns him, almost taunting with a small smirk.''Proceed with cautious.''
Judai smirks as he starts his turn.''My turn, draw!''
He draws his top card and smirks playing it.''First I activate the spell, Take Over 5! I send the top 5 cards of my deck to the Graveyard.''
He mills the top 5 cards of his Deck to the Graveyard and then he proceeds playing another card from his hand. ''Next I play the Spell, O – Oversoul! I can Special Summon an Elemental HERO Normal Monster from my Graveyard.''
Arkham narrows his eyes firmly knowing what monster he'll summon.
''Show yourself, Elemental HERO Neos!'' Judai calls forth as Neos appears onto the field, striking his signature pose.
Elemental HERO Neos Lvl 7 ATK: 2500 DEF: 2000
Arkham snarls with slight sound of amusement to see that monster this soon.
''Next I summon Elemental HERO Ocean!'' Judai proceeds summoning his fish-like hero, twirling his trident before pointing it at the enemy.
Elemental HERO Ocean Lvl 4 ATK: 1500 DEF: 1200
Arkham remains calm with his arms crossed, waiting for Judai to make the attack. Proceeding, Judai declares raising his hand forward. ''Battle! Neos, direct attack!''
Neos launches forward extending back his fist.
''Wrath of Neos!'' Judai shouts as his hero thrusts forward glowing in bright neon energy. Arkham, snickering, sees this coming a mile away.
''As expected. When my opponent declares a Direct Attack, I can Special Summon this card from my hand.'' Arkham proclaims grabbing a card from his hand and summons it. ''Appear, Evil HERO Dark Spirit.''
Appearing before the attacking Neos is a dark phantom-like spirit with eerie blue eyes and multiple tentacle hair.

Judai frowns as Neos stops from his attack.
''Another Evil HERO huh?'' He mutters upset, staring at this monster being reminded of a certain monster that gave him trouble against a certain person. Arkham hums amused as he taunts him almost reading his mind. ''Do you remember Arcana Force 0: the Fool?''
Judai frowns angrily. Arkham's eyes narrow humorous before stating. ''You must be asking yourself how I know about a monster from a duelist you dueled from your timeline.''
Once more Judai does not say a word even madder.
''Soon you'll understand and you'll hate me.'' Arkham proclaims in such a mysterious way yet ominous. He then says revealing his new hero's effect. ''Regardless, Dark Spirit cannot be destroyed and cannot be targeted by card effects.''
Judai looks upset, not able to do anything right now. He eyes his hand and declares setting a card. ''Then I set a card facedown. Turn end.''
A face down card manifests behind his heroes, finishing his turn.

''My turn. I draw. '' Arkham proclaims drawing the top card of his deck. He eyes it and chuckles proceeding. ''I activate Dark Spirit's effect, sending a HERO monster from my Deck to the Graveyard.''
He sends a monster as Dark Spirit suddenly takes a form of a silhouette resembling Necroshade.
''Now until the End Phase, my monster gains that monster's name.'' Arkham then explains but this wasn't his aim then declaring. ''But now I can banish Evil HERO Sinister Necrom from my Graveyard to use his effect.''
The spirit of a monster heavily resembling Necroshade manifests but much more sinister and eviler.
''I may Special Summon an Evil HERO monster from my hand or Deck.'' The masked man explains as a card pops out leaking out dark energy. He grabs it, holding it up and calls forth summoning it. ''Emerge, Evil HERO Malicious Edge!''
Darkness blows around Arkham as the dangerous Malicious Edge appears with an evil grin.
Evil HERO Malicious Edge Lvl 7 ATK: 2600 DEF: 1800
Arkham eyes his opponent only for Judai to be smirking. Narrowing his eyes slightly, he questions that expression. ''Smirking now Judai?''
Judai hums thinking about it and answers still smirking. ''I find it ironic, not expecting to face Malicious Edge this soon.''
''The same can be said for Neos.'' Arkham comments back with a more humorous tone. He then adds with a firm voice holding up a card. ''Regardless no matter. I activate my spell, Dark Fusion!''
He flips the card around showing the very same card. Judai stares serious, expecting that to be coming.
''I merge Malicious Edge with Sparkman.'' Arkham announces as Sparkman then appears and both he and Malicious Edge were suck up in dark fusing energy.
''Fusion Summon! Emerge!'' Arkham declares as lightning strikes down and a figure emerges out from the swirl of energy. ''Evil HERO Deathbolt Lancelot!''
The figure is a dark blue, pale yellow slimmed male figure with armored-like knight armor with twin bladed-like wrist blades, cape-like demonic wings and a sinister red eye helmet exposing just his sinister smirk. Dark yellow electricity courses through his body while wielding a wicked, sharp chipped claymore.
Evil HERO Deathbolt Lancelot Lvl 8 ATK: 2800 DEF: 2600
Judai stares worrying by this new Evil HERO's presence.
Arkham chuckles as he uses his new hero's ability. ''Deathbolt Lancelot's effect targets 1 of your Attack Position monsters and takes control of it until my End Phase.''
''Nani?'' Judai utters out in shock. Arkham's eyes glow in a creepy, amusing expression as he declares. ''I shall take Neos.''
Deathbolt raises his left wrist blade up as Arkham declares. ''Death Obedience!''
A dark lightning bolt suddenly comes down and strikes Neos. His eyes turn black as the hero moves over to Arkham's field. Judai glares angrily at this which made Arkham very amused. He then orders entering his Battle Phase. ''Battle! Death Lancelot, attack Ocean!''
Death Lancelot laughs charging at Ocean, thrusting his left wrist blades. Ocean was able to intercept it with his trident, blocking it but it pushes the hero back.
''Death Pulsation!'' Arkham commands as Deathbolt raises his sword as lightning strikes down and he swings his sword forward, unleashing a powerful black lighting strike. Judai reacts and counters triggering his set card. ''Reverse Counter Trap open, Negate Attack!''
An invisible barrier appears and blocks the lightning attack, negating the attack. Arkham snarls commenting. ''You stopped my attack, fine with me.''
He grabs 2 cards from his hand and declares setting them. ''I set 2 cards facedown. My turn is over.''
Two face-down cards materialize behind his Evil HEROes, ending his turn. Neos' eyes revert back to normal and he leaps back to Judai's field.
''Good to have you back Neos.'' Judai says smiling to have his hero back. Arkham scoffs not bothered as he then reveals. ''Deathbolt Lancelot's third effect now activates.''
This alarms Judai looking back as Arkham explains delighted. ''While I control another Evil card, I can search and set an Equip Spell with Evil in its card text.''
He pulls out his deck and picks the perfect card, setting it in the back row too.
''Now my turn is over.'' Arkham finally finishes satisfied.
Duel Screen: Turn 4_ Judai: 4000LP H: 2 / Arkham: 4000LP H: 2
Judai stares at Arkham's set cards, only knowing one won't get in his way but the other two are different problems. He has to be strong and beat Arkham and figure out what's he up to. No point second guessing.
''My turn! Draw!'' Judai shouts drawing his top card. He eyes it and smiles declaring as Ocean's body glows a light blue outline. ''Ocean's effect during my Standby Phase lets me return a HERO monster from my field or Graveyard back to my hand.''
Ocean twirls his trident before pointing it upward. Judai's Duel Disk glows as a card pops out from his Graveyard slot and grabs it. He then adds smiling. ''Plus Take Over 5's other effect lets me banish a copy of itself, which I got one in my Graveyard, to draw 1 card.''
Arkham scoffs at his pointless attempt, mocking him. ''Replenishing your hand won't help you.''
''I wonder about that.'' Judai just comments before playing another card from his hand smirking. ''I activate the spell, Double Fusion! I pay 500 of my Life Points to Fusion Summon twice!''
His Life Points drops to 3500LP as two fusion portals manifest on his field.
''I fuse Elemental HERO Ocean on my field and Woodsman from my hand!'' Judai declares as the giant wooden hero and Ocean leap up into a Fusion portal, becoming a new Hero.
''Fusion Summon! Show yourself, Elemental HERO Gaia!'' Judai calls forth as the massive, bulky armored EARTH Hero appears slamming onto the ground.
Elemental HERO Gaia Lvl 6 ATK: 2200 DEF: 2600
Judai isn't done yet performing another fusion by revealing two monsters from his hand. ''Next I fuse Elemental HERO Sparkman and Necroshade from my hand!''
Both heroes manifest and merge together with Judai calling forth. ''Fusion Summon! Show yourself, Elemental HERO Darkbright!''
Flying out is the red-black, winged version of Sparkman.
Elemental HERO Darkbright Lvl 6 ATK: 2000 DEF: 1000
Arkham gazes calmly as Judai then announces pointing at Gaia. ''Gaia's effect upon summoned halves the ATK of a monster you control and then it gains that half of the ATK into its own.''
Gaia slams both massive hammer-like arms onto the ground, releasing a powerful earthquake that halves Arkham's hero ATK. Deathbolt Lancelot's ATK drops to 1400 while Gaia shoots up to 3600 ATK.
''Battle! Gaia, attack Deathbolt Lancelot!'' Judai declares as Gaia leaps over the sky and comes right down like a meteor with both fists forward. ''Continental Hammer!''
Arkham scoffs at his attempt triggering his set card.
''Clever but meaningless! Reverse Continuous Trap open!'' He declares as is card flips over, revealing a trap that shows Evil HERO Wild Cyclone with Vicious Claw engulf with greater power.
''Evil Waking! With this card, I can activate any set Equip Spell Card on my field in exchange of allowing my opponent to draw 1 card.'' Arkham explains his new trap's effect. ''I activate the Equip Spell, Hunger of Sloth!''
As Judai can draw an extra card, Arkham's set card flips over. The card shows the image of a male former adventurer devouring food despite killing multiple enemies as his body corrupts. Arkham sniggers a bit before explaining his other card's effect. ''When my Evil HERO equipped with this card battles, its ATK becomes equal to the battling monster plus 100.''
Deathbolt Lancelot starts laughing maliciously as his ATK shoots up to 3700. He leaps at Gaia thrusting his blade forward. Judai reacts fast and activates a card from his hand. ''I activate the Quick-Play Spell, De-Fusion!''
Arkham scoffs again protesting his attempt. ''Changes nothing. Evil Waking protects both my equipped monster and Equip Spell from being targeted by card effects.''
Smirking, Judai corrects him. ''Not the monster I was targeting. I choose Gaia!''
Gaia suddenly glows and splits apart just as Deathbolt Lancelot's blade misses it. In its place, both Ocean and Woodsman returns back in Defense Position.

Elemental HERO Woodsman Lvl 4 ATK: 1000 DEF: 2000
Arkham chuckles at this, actually praising his opponent. ''Clever play Judai.''
Judai smirks as he then orders with his other hero. ''Darkbright, attack Dark Spirit!''
Darkbright takes flight and takes aim with his palm.
''Dark Flash!'' Judai shouts as the hero fights a black lightning attack from his hand at the defensive Dark HERO. Arkham stares calmly aware of Darkbright's piercing battle damage but he's also ready for it declaring. ''Hunger of Sloth redirects any attack to my equipped monster.''
Judai startles as Deathbolt Lancelot suddenly appears in front of Darkbright's attack and absorbs it into his sword. He then comes at the hero and slashes it, releasing a burst of electricity before frying it. Judai braces his arms forward, taking the 100 of damage while grunting. He isn't bested yet proclaiming. ''Darkbright's effect destroys a monster you control.''
The remains of Darkbright shoot out towards the Evil HERO, striking it through. Arkham isn't concern as he announces. ''Evil Waking's third effect destroys the Equip Spell instead of the equipped monster.''
The Equip Spell shatters protecting the Evil HERO from Darkbright's effect. But Judai still has a chance commanding. ''Go Neos! Attack Deathbolt Lancelot!''
Neos comes leaping at the Evil HERO with a mighty punch.
''Hunger of Sloth prevents our monsters from being destroyed.'' Arkham then announces as his hero will be saved from destruction. Judai didn't care declaring his attack. ''But not your Life Points! Wrath of Neos!''
Neos slams his fist through Deathbolt Lancelot, pushing it back. The Evil HERO survived its own destruction but badly hurt. Arkham gasps in pain taking 1100LP of damage. He stands his ground, breathing with slight grunting.
''I throw a card facedown. Turn end.'' Judai finishes his turn setting a card behind his monsters, finishing his turn. Arkham brushes off the damage he took.
''It doesn't matter how resourceful, strong or lucky you are.'' Arkham declares as his cape moves on its own menacingly almost like demonic wings. He then adds with a sinister, snicker-like voice. ''Only I will ever your superior, your better half!''
Judai glares calmly going to need all he's got to beat Arkham and then figure out what he's aiming. Hopefully he's not too late.
It was just Mew Berry and Mew Erika alone, separated from the others in that riot all trying to get away. The scorpion Mew Mew couldn't believe this. Her abilities to see visions of the future didn't warn her of this. She hasn't had this much of a problem other than up against Deep Blue. Could the enemy have the means to stop her from using her vision powers? No, it has to be someone else… but then-
''I can't believe this is happening.'' Mew Erika snaps out from her train of thought and turns towards Mew Berry, also not understanding why this is turning out like this. She frowns for the young Mew Mew, knowing she has to tell her something.
Mew Erika holds on her shoulder and tells comforting her to be strong. ''Don't let it get to you Berry. Even if the Crusaders have control over everyone, we still have the power to save them.''
Mew Berry eyes her with the scorpion girl adding with a smile. ''We just can't give up, no matter how hard things get.''
''R-right, I know that.'' The rabbit-cat girl responds still a bit concern but nods. They can't back down or give up even when things turn out bad. As long as-
''You should give up Berry.'' Mew Berry staggers by a voice suddenly speaking up. She and Mew Erika turn and widen their eyes to se Tasuku, now wearing a dark outfit.
''T-Tasuku-kun…'' Mew Berry utters out confused to see him here. She goes to approach him but Mew Erika stops him, immediately feeling something off with him.
''Something is wrong with him.'' She warns the young Mew Mew sensing he's not himself either. Mew Berry gets alarm, yelling out. ''Don't tell me!''
Tasuku skates a few inches closer, warning her coldly. ''Berry, de-transform and stop being a Mew Mew or else.''
Mew Berry stares with nothing but pure dread all over her face. How could today turn out so ugly. Why? Why did it have to happen?!
Are things hopeless with Tokyo under the Crusaders' control? Will the Mew Mews find the means to save everyone before it's too late?

As the girls try to rejoin to stop this, Yugi and the rest of Team Dragon Knight try to fight Dark World forces from Arkham while Judai is dueling Arkham once again. Will Yugi be able to reach and help Ichigo and will Berry have the resolve to save Tasuku too?
Mew Ichigo: I hate today so much right now. Masaya and Yugi are acting weird about well us and now this happened Nya!
Mew Erika: We need to be calm Ichigo and revert what the Crusaders have done.
Mew Berry frowns: We can't give up, Even if it seems hopeless, you and everyone else taught me the importance to keep fighting. *thinks of Tasuku* We have to try!
Mew Ichigo smiles: We will Nya! We'll reach back to the other Mew Mews and save everyone Nya!
