Hello everyone, so I know I am a menace. None of you have to tell me this but this one is completed already and just requires a bit of editing. I do hope you enjoy it and please leave feedback.

This story will include some Triggers but I will try and post warnings at the beginning of each chapter.

As always the world of Harry Potter does not belong to me (unfortunately) but I do love to tinker.

Chapter One

Hermione

I had too much to deal with never mind Harry and his idiotic actions, I mean didn't he learn his lesson is Second year when Ginny found Tom Riddles diary? Using a book with random scribbles on it in class was just infuriating, I am not going to lie and say the fact that he was doing well also wasn't bugging me.

I have to focus, with the Permission of Professor Slughorn and Professor McGonagall I had asked to brew in the potions lab. They seemed happy enough with my skill, it was literally only a pain potion for menstrual cramps and we learnt it in third year. Professor Snape was not too amused but it was on the curriculum so I don't think he had much of a choice.

I had followed the recipe to a tea, everything looked an acceptable colour at this stage. A soft knock on the door broke me out of my concentration, Professor Dumbledore poked his head through the door in all his flamboyant amazement.

"Sir, I'm sorry. I was told I was allowed to be here" He smiled that comforting grandfatherly smile before coming closer to my cauldron.

"No of course I just heard the clinking and thought it was Severus. He has a tendancy to skulk around down here." I nodded and he looked at my recipe and smiled

"It was never something I was a dab hand at to be fair. Potions I mean. I completed the subject to a NEWT level of course but never had the finesse I had seen many students have. Severus of course was a natural, Lily Potter was mighty good, Remus always top tier. Narcissa Black was top of her year and was impeccable at Potions. I always said she was huge academic waste when she was forced to marry Lucius Malfoy. Bright girl whom had a very bright future. " I was confused for a second as to why he was telling me about Draco Malfoys mother of all people.

Granted she was someone I had noticed over the years, how could I not. She was gorgeous and made every woman in her vicinity take a knock to their confidence. Stunningly beautiful but a complete and total bitch to the outside world. I remember the brief physical interaction we had was at the Platform before school started.

FLASHBACK

I had been so engrossed in Maximus Kellers book on Alchemy and realistically not watching where I was going when I bumped into a soft but lean figure. As the book fell to the ground I was entranced as skyscraper high heels and bare legs from the knee bent down to accompany a blonde head of hair and dainty long fingers which were perfectly manicured.

The words were lost in the back of my throat as she stood and righted herself before reading the title of my book, a small smirk graced her face as she looked directly at me.

"Not Kellers best work, at least not good enough to be engrossed enough to walk into someone." She handed me the book back and I couldn't stop the smile that erupted on my features.

"I apologise Lady Malfoy, I have always been that way regardless of how good or horrifically terrible the book is. I truly am sorry." As I took the book back my finger touched against her wrist and I couldn't stop the inhale I took as I did.

"You take care Miss Granger, I will see you soon." I nodded and she glided away from me and apparated away from the platform as I made my way onto the train.

END OF FLASHBACK

I was brought out of my head by Professor Dumbledore coming over to me and taking a seat beside my workstation. He looked so old in that moment and it seemed there was a heavy burden on his shoulders.

"I am afraid I have to do something Miss Granger, something which I am conflicted about but have had many years to think it over." The usually put together man looked as if he was unravelling, his hand was darkened as Harry had said but it looked even worse close up.

"Miss Granger when you arrive seek me out. Explain everything and tell me you need to go see a goblin from Gringotts, his name is Gornuk. Helena Granger as your name should suffice just for protection of course." I was confused before he lifted out a vial of what looked like liquid and sand and poured it into my potion.

"Professor Stop!" He apparated away as a large swirling sandy coloured liquid latched onto my skin and travelled up my arm. Why would he do this? Why would he harm me? I wasn't in pain but there was an unbearable warmth travelling all over my body at that moment and without warning I fell to my knees as a weird wind picked up.

My surroundings were blurring at this point and if felt like it had went on forever, as it started to slow I fell and bumped my head against one of the tables in the Potions Classroom. Shuffling of feet could be heard all around me and a squeak of Professor Slughorn.

"Mr Potter please go and grab Professor McGonagall and Poppy Pomfry please." As I cracked open my eyes I could see Slughorn standing over me, he looked a little bit younger and as I went to sit up he placed a soft hand to my shoulder to stop me.

"Now take it easy, you just bumped your head." I looked around and although my surroundings were recognisable, my fellow students were not. A class of what looked to be NEWT students sat looking at me in awe and walking toward me was someone whom I had to do a double take.

Severus Snape, a young Severus Snape lifted my bag which thankfully nothing had spilled out of but it seemed to have came with me. That's when it hit me, Headmaster Dumbledore sent me back in time.

"I need to see Albus Dumbledore please." As shuffling of feet came into the room I turned to the door frame and Harrys twin stood looking very concerned at me. The room faded to Black as I caught glimpses of a young Minerva Mcgonagall and Poppy Pomfry coming toward me.

-/-/-/-/-/-/-

"No need for hysterics Minerva, the young woman looks as if she has been involved in some form of altercation. I will speak to her and find out what is going on." I must have looked horrendous because as I cracked my eyes open my entire body felt as if it was broken.

"Albus she apparated into Hogwarts. That should not be possible." I tried to sit up and I must have caught the attention of the two educators. The latter of which looking at me as if I had six heads.

"Hello Miss... Take it easy you took quite a stumble." I was pissed, beyond pissed, this bastard sent me through time. Of course he hadn't yet but he would. Asshole. Why am I here?

"Thanks to you." I glared as I sat up against the Pillows that had been propped behind me.Minerva looked horrified at me before her glare turned murderous.

"Excuse me young lady, mind your manners." I always had such respect for Professor McGonagall and although I couldn't blame her for being offended on Dumbledore behalf I couldn't bring myself to care.Remembering what he told me I couldn't stop it all from spewing out.

"My name is Helena Granger, I didn't apparate into the castle. You Headmaster sent me here from the year 1996. What year is it now?" Both of them looked flabbergasted at me before taking one step closer.

"Feel free to look and see." I lowered my Occlumency Shields which Remus had been teaching me and allowed him to see glimpses of the future. My first year, being in school with Harry, Snape being my Potions Teacher. Nothing too significant but enough so as he believed me.

"Well Miss Granger it seems you're here for a reason, what is it?" I shook my head at him in a way that made him appear curious about me.

"I have no bloody clue, all that was said was..." A lightbulb went off in my head but I didn't show it, I would look in my bag after they left.

"You told me to speak to A Gringotts Goblin, Gornuk." The man looks so confused before nodding his head and smiling at me.

"Well it would seem you need somewhere to lay low. Welcome to Hogwarts. I will work on getting you back to your time Miss Granger. Get some rest, we can figure out the logistics later." I nodded and they both left as Poppy Pomfry came over to me and smiled.

" How much of that did you hear?" I had a pretty good relationship with the Mediwitch in the future, so much so she was teaching me certain things we had tea every other week and where she spent a few hours showing me useful healing spells.

"Only snippets my dear." I smirked my head at her and nodded before downing the pain potion she gave me.

"So basically everything?" She smiled and I shook my head at the older woman whom I could see had not changed in twenty years.

"Basically yes, but Patient Confidentiality is a must in my line of work, don't worry I will not bombard you with questions about the future. Although from your teasing I can imagine you are quite comfortable with me." I nodded my head as she offered me tea.

" We are friends of sorts, you are teaching me things and we struck up a friendship so much so that I am aware of your secret stash of Fire whiskey and your relationship with a certain Deputy. " She smiked and nodded, before we could say anything else the door creaked open and a tall statuesque blonde walked into the room.

"Sorry to disturb you Madame but I was wondering if I could trouble you for a pain potion." The woman stood up and ushered her over to a cot and nodded before heading into her stores. God as an adult she was incredible but as a teenager she was amazing. Although she had that ice queen mask firmly in place already.

" You must be the girl who was able to Apparate into Hogwarts?" I couldn't stop my head from tilting at that in confusion, god the whole entire school must be going crazy at this point.

"Not apparate no, Portkey." It seemed to be the only explanation that I could possibly get away with. She wrapped her arms around her midriff in pain but still held an air of authority about her.

"Everyone is beside themselves trying to gain some insight to you. Miss..." I smirked at her and picked at a thread on my jumper.

"Granger, Helena Granger." I held my hand out to her and she, surprisingly stood and took it in hers. I would be lying if I said I didn't feel small sparks travel up my arm or a feeling deep in my gut.

"Narcissa Black, nice to meet you." I seen the Head Girl badge pinned to her robes and realised she must have been the year above the Marauders and this was the year she would be forced into marrying that peacock Lucius.

"Alright my darling here we are. There is some heat salve also." The blonde beaity thanked the nurse for her Menstrual supplies and turned back to look at me.

"Welcome to Hogwarts Miss Granger." I nodded and she went on her way, I couldn't help but admire her as she walked away and realistically I had been more saphically inclined than people had originally thought and even than I had thought.

"I would not waste your time Miss Granger. She is promised to another and you might not be here for very long." I nodded my head as the older witch sat down beside me and smirked.

"Oh believe me I know exactly what kind of brutal, horrible life Narcissa Malfoy is going to have. Maybe I can provide her with some kindness and fun before that happens?" I was being cocky, the woman was probably as straight as they come but then again...maybe not.

"So she does Marry Lucius? I always wondered if she would be able to get out of it somehow. After Andromeda left to marry Edward Tonks I didn't realise her contract would fall to Narcissa. It's sad really she has so much potential." I know I cannot change things but I could indulge slightly and try and make peoples lives a little bit better.

I spoke with Poppy for another little while before a house elf had showed up to offer me some food. I thanked the little elf and taught him how to fist bump which tickled Poppy to no end.

"Alright enjoy your dinner, I have to restock the medical cupboard with the new potions, hollar if you need me."I nodded before asking for a book of some sort to read. She floated out a book of medicinal plants and how they work in potions. It was a book that I had not read but instantly made me think of Neville.

It was in that instant I realised how hard this was going to be, going to school with people whom have been long dead or have been effected by the war. Harry's parents, Nevilles parents, Sirius, Peter fucking Pettigrew. That one was going to be hard, not cursing him to oblivion for what he done.

I can't be in Gryffindor, it would be too difficult to keep the secret of my time travel. I wouldn't be able to look them in the eye everyday. Then again I couldn't be in Slytherin either, I was a mudblood and it would be sacrilege to be at home in the house of the snakes.

I remembered the bag I had brought back with me and instantly I opened its contents. I had recently learned how to do the undetectable extension charm courtesy of Professor Flitwick and as such my bag was like a kitchen sink.

I pulled out school books, reading books, galleons, quills and ink. It was when I pulled out a black journal that I had never seen before that I freaked. That meddle some idiot sent me here for some reason or another and I guess I was about to find out.

Cracking open the journal

I noticed the headmasters handwriting which was looped and cursive. It was quite pleasant actually.

'Miss Granger, first of all let me offer you my apologies. When you showed up the October 1976 I swear I thought you were the answer to my prayers.

Tom Riddle was gaining power and although you kept your cards close to your chest the reason you had came back was simple. Gain favour of some of Toms supporters and the Order of the Phoenix. It was because of you I have managed to piece together what must be done. How Harry is going to be successful in beating him. Start with Severus and Narcissa Malfoy, work from there. Seventh year will gain an extraordinary mind, you are more than ready for it, this way you will get to experience it some way or another.' I was basically here to make Death Eaters not join the cause. Great.

' Be safe, know who your enemies are and don't fight any battles you can't win. It would be foolish to mention your blood status but once you meet with Gornuk that should not be an issue. I will see you soon.' I sat looking over the pages which were full of scribbles and drawings.

So I had to pretend to go to school, not fail, perform tasks like a monkey and miraculously make Death Eaters defect. Fucking wonderful, the future is fucked. Unless I had already done it and the future works out the way it's supposed to be. My head hurts.

I slept for a good portion of time before I was deemed fit and healthy to leave, Minerva McGonagall showed up the morning of September 30th with the sorting hat in her hand.

"We need to find somewhere for you Miss Granger. Seventh year is late to come in of course but we can just tell people you were home schooled until recently." I nodded and thanked the woman as the hat was placed onto my head.

"Ah Miss Granger... Well, well, well, it is incredible to see what you have seen. So Gryffindor is not in the cards this time around you are correct. Perhaps you can give the House of the Ravens a points booster. Ravenclaw it is young miss." I nodded and took the hat off my head and handed it back to the Deputy.

" It will be a shame not to be in your house again Minerva, but I look forward to our lessons. " I grasped my bag as she handed me a uniform which was changing to Ravenclaw colours. It felt almost blasphemous to be in anything other than Gold and Red but alas this is the way it's meant to be.

"Miss Granger, I was sent down to escort you to your new common Room." Walking toward me she looked like a model on a, runway. Her Slytherin Uniform sat impeccably as did every other inch of her. Of course I would expect nothing less than the woman whom was always put together in the future.

" A Raven it is... Come I am to get you settled and then escort you to your classes." She took me by the arm and guided me up to the fifth floor and through a winding staircase. No words were spoken but I could see her watch me from the corner of her eye and a small smirk had graced her features.

" Now is a time to test your knowledge." We had reached a door with no keyhole or any other descernable way to open it. There was a large bronze knocker at the top of it and as Narcissa reached up and gently knocked upon the door it shimmered away to leave a black hole with words written on it.

'What has a bank but no money?' I just glanced at Narcissa whom looked entirely too amused and I thought about it for ten seconds before giving it my answer.

"A river?" The black hole drifted away and soon I was given sight of the Ravenclaw Common room. It was a large round room with four staircases leading down from the main room. It had various shades of blue and bronze all around with deep blue couches and large open windows, which let the light flood in. I must have had my mouth hanging open because a soft, warm finger closed my chin as I looked around in awe.

"Pretty impressive right?" I nodded as she took me by the arm and led me down the left hallway and guided me down a winding stone staircase until we stopped outside a door which had my initials on it.

"Looks like this is you, come on." She pushed open my door before I could see all of my school books waiting for me sitting on the bed and I couldn't help but get excited. I would be learning Seventh year material, I would be lying if I said I hadn't looked up the material every year in advance so I wasn't worried about falling behind.

"Be thankful you don't have a, roommate." She walked over and sat down on my bed, I couldn't stop the blush that overcame my face at the prospect of this wonderful creature on my bed.

"Come on, first class is Herbology. Professor Sprout is good but does not like tardiness." I nodded my head and placed my school books and supplies in my bag that I needed after looking at my schedule. As she took my by the hand I could feel sparks echoing up my arm and I knew there and then I was in trouble.

Thank You everyone, I hope you have enjoyed the first Chapter. Xxx
