Hello to all! This is Episode 29 of the new mini arc of Volume 5: A Parent's Sin!
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, to his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight!

Volume 5: Episode 29: Kidnapped! Kaiba's pursuit!
In the previous episode of DKR:
As everyone else was still fighting the Black Arms, Yugi and Shadow engaged both Eclipse and Black Death. The two fought their own foe though struggle especially for Shadow as Eclipse possessed Chaos powers, blocking his own Chaos Powers, and brainwashing methods. Shadow staggered but due to the renewed memory of Maria, the black hedgehog brushed it off angrily. There Yugi's Dragon Clone from before arrived and handed him the Chaos Emerald given to him.
With it and the other Chaos Emerald that Rouge returned to him, Shadow overpowered Eclipse with the greatest of ease. Yugi also overpowered Black Death with Dragon Blade mode. Shadow decided to swap as Yugi engaged a monstrous Eclipse with ease while Shadow put an end with Black Death.
Alone, Eclipse was certain he would die but Aigami arrived and took the defeated alien. The Black Arms also returned due to this. Mobius was saved and even though he was cold as always, Shadow did thank Yugi for his help. The tricolor head smiled.
However, Aigami's true motive were still unclear and who he is working for, the very same ominous being observing Yugi. What are these two up to?
And Zero in a march of revenge with the strange but powerful stone in his possession.
But for now, what will happen next?
And now the conclusion... a week later since the previous episode:
It is a nice day as Kisara waits outside of her hotel, waiting patiently. Soon a black limo rides over and opens its door, revealing Mokuba who smiles. Kisara smiles back as she gets inside the limousine, closing the door beside her. The car drives off.
"Thank you again for coming with me to visit Ichigo, Mokuba.'' Kisara thanks the young Kaiba sibling who responds smiling. ''Anything for you Kisara-san!''
Kisara smiles back… though she frowns thinking about Seto and what happened back then in the KC Cup. She eyes Mokuba and asks him. ''How is Seto?''
Mokuba lets out a small sigh telling her. ''Nii-san has recovered though the doctor asked him to rest a bit more but he just went back to work. He's stubborn.''
''Yes he is…'' Kisara mutters in agreement, blushing that Seto isn't the type to let mere injuries slow him down. As kids, when Seto was beaten up by the other kids protecting Mokuba; she helped bandage him up and tried her best to heal him but when Mokuba was again picked on, Seto went in still recovering to save his brother. Kisara admired Seto's strength; nothing ever stops him.
As they are heading out, three strange vehicles are trailing behind them. The men inside all wearing black-like military outfits with strange visor-like. One of the men taps on his headset and speaks through it, seemingly informing their leader. ''We have her on our sight but she's with the younger Kaiba. Do we resume with the plan sir?''
''Do so. It is time to meet Seto.'' A voice echoes from the other side of the headset, ordering him to proceed. The men nod proceeding. The vehicles surrounded the limousine. The driver notices that too late as each man pulls out strange weapons that fire not bullets but electrical pulses that struck the wheels. They erupt and destroy the tires, causing the black limo to stop on its tracks.
This shocks Kisara and Mokuba as she utters out. ''What's going on?''
They look from their windows as the men storm around the limo as they aim their weapons at it.
''C-crap…'' Mokuba utters as they fire a powerful pulse. The windows of the limo shatter as the three humans gasp in agony, the powerful vibrating sound too much for them to handle. Kisara begins to black out as she falls, as does Mokuba. The men grab them both leaving the driver still unconscious.
Within Kaiba Corporation in the science/technology station, Seto Kaiba with his arms crossed stands in a holographic environment of the events that followed in the KC Cup when the Dark Lord arrived. He raises his arms, moving around the area with the wrist and movement of his arms like he was within a Virtual Reality-like Google Map.
Kaiba scans across the area, accelerating through time to stare upon the scene of the Dark Lord trashing him through multiple walls. He growls irritated by that moment of his life, forced to rest on a bed until he fully recovered. And worst of all, the press is all over the disaster from the KC Cup. First, that fake Diederick Baumeister who he later did confirmed his suspicions that the real Diederick was found, tied up and unconscious. And then that Dark Lord arrived and ruined his tournament.
''Where… Where…'' Kaiba mutters as he rewinds time around him before his duel with that black dragon to figure out where and how he appeared. The camera feeds didn't seem to pick up anything so he decides to check another means. Tapping his middle finger, the environment is being scanned by heat detections.
Kaiba watches as the Heat detection locates swirls of energy that are manifesting and then a figure with body heat emerges out.
''…'' Seto is silent as the cameras were still not able to pick that up. Was his system hacked? No… he was hiding his presence using his powers… but this wasn't his goal. The Dark Lord had to be present within the Kaiba Dome as the building has a sensitive scanning system. Even if someone ''teleported'' inside the building as stealthily or quickly, the system would detect them regardless.
''Deactivate the program.'' Kaiba commands as the world around him turns black before reverting it to be the holograph room. He steps outside the small room as his scientists watch their boss walk out.
''Kaiba-sama, did the program not help?'' The head scientist asks him as Kaiba gazes at him and simply responds. ''It did as far as I needed. I want the AI program to detect anyone suspicious from that day using the holograph program immediately.''
''It'll take a long time to detect each person.'' One of the scientists informs him but Kaiba doesn't care about the time span, he'll wait as long as he gets those results.
''Do it then!'' Kaiba orders them as each scientist panics and they go to work. He scoffs, crossing his arms, telling himself with firm cold eyes. ''I want to be ready to humiliate that dragon for what he did.''
''Kaiba-sama!'' Kaiba turns to see Isono rushing over panting. He gazes at him and asks him. ''What is it Isono?''
Still trying to calm down his breathing, Isono finally speaks up informing his boss. ''It's Mokuba-sama!''
Kaiba glances both shocked and furious. What now?!
Within the Momomiya household, Ichigo, wearing her pink pajamas, gasps loudly at Yugi. ''A CHIPMUNK PRINCESS! REALLY NYA?!''
Yugi nods, smiling. He has been telling Ichigo about their adventure to Mobius. About the world, about their anthro people Mobians, about the Freedom Fighters, the Black Arms and that Eclipse. In the end he and everyone helped Shadow out and saved him.
''Ah man, I missed out on a lot Nya!'' Ichigo expresses loudly, wanting to see Sonic's world and not expecting any of those things to happen. The tricolor head sweat drops nodding though he reminds her. ''Well you're still recovering Ichigo-kun.''
Ichigo sighs knowing that better than anyone. She eyes him and asks concerned. ''How's Jenny-san?''
''She's recovered but she's training, wanting to be better when well that Mew Mew appears again.'' Yugi informs her sweat dropping that Jenny has been training at least every day that she can so she can be ready for when that evil Mew Mew appears again. Ichigo frowns a bit admitting it as she says. ''Same with Erika-chan, she's training with Masaya.''
Yugi already knew that and that Ryan is also helping them out, wanting to help Erika. Ichigo knows it too, smiling that Erika might be falling for him.
''The other girls are recovering though Zakuro-san is resuming her job duties.'' Ichigo informs him blushing that Zakuro would still be able to work just coming out from a dangerous situation they were all in.
She then adds somewhat sadness. ''Just Berry-chan, Ringo-chan and even Pudding-chan recovered at least able to get back to work in the café. Tasuku-kun is helping them too, feeling bad about before.''
Yugi nods, understanding the young boy and Pudding needing to work for her siblings. He can only imagine Ringo and Berry both feeling bad to do even more during that crisis but with the opponent they were up against, he doesn't blame them. He eyes Ichigo and asks her about her condition. ''So will you be able to get back to work and school soon?''
Ichigo smiles as she responds happily. ''Yup! Just a few more days Nya.''
The tricolor head smiles reaching and holding her hand. Ichigo startles with rosy cheeks.
''We should celebrate when you get better!'' Yugi says happily, wanting Ichigo to get a party for returning back. Ichigo blushes not able to reply back, just hesitate to get back at it-
''HEY COME OUT!'' The couple blinks by the yelling of a woman coming from outside. Just then multiple loud BANGS are heard, even shaking the house.
''Who's knocking on my door Nya?'' The red cherry head questions not liking the banging. She gets off her bed as Yugi opens up the front window of her room. The two poke out their heads down to see a woman knocking fiercely at the door. Ichigo, sweat dropping so relieved that her parents aren't home, announces herself to the stranger. ''Excuse me Nya.''
The woman stops and looks up at the pair of older teenagers. She's a grown woman of slender yet well-toned figure and tall height. She has fair skin, sharp dark eyes, and upper back-length black hair worn in box braids tied in a ponytail. Above her left breast is a strange tattoo that resembles a cross with a snake or serpent draped about it, as well as detached wings and a crown above it. She wears a long white-collared, button-up blouse that reveals her cleavage of flowing backside, form-fitting grey pants reaching her ankles, and open-toed sandals that have the letters "W.C." on them.
''Miss, can we help you?'' Yugi asks, puzzled with Ichigo nodding. The woman studies the two and could see they can help her, asking them. ''I'm looking for my troublemaking students.''
The couple raises an eyebrow with Ichigo replying. ''Your students? Who are you?''
The woman smirks as she responds with both hands on her hips dramatically. ''I'm a housewife!''
''… Okay.'' The two finally utter out, taken back in surprise. Ichigo now has a bad feeling who these students could be really hoping it's not-
''DEAR I FOUND THEM!'' A male voice yells out alarming the two. They look ahead to see a tall man with dark hair with some hair sticking out forward and a moustache and beard with an incredible musculature body, wearing a simple dark green shirt and pants. In one arm, he has Ed in his grip who struggles breaking free while shouting in one of his rants. ''GET OFF ME YOU BIG OLF WHO THINK I'M AS SMALL AS A GRAIN OF RICE!''
''Of course Nya…'' Ichigo mutters running to put on her slippers as she and Yugi headed downstairs. They open the front door to see Ed struggling while Al trembles unease. Ruby comes out with Alicia who was baking bread from the kitchen. The muscular man puts Ed on the ground grunting.
''Hey who's Eddy yelling out now?'' Ruby asks, surprised at the commotion. Edward makes a face gazing at the red cherry haired who whistles pretending she was not paying attention.
''YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! ICHIGO!'' Edward barks angrily at the cat girl who protests calmly. ''Must have been Cousin Usagi-chan Nya.''
Ed growls angrily until the woman announces walking forward. ''So this is where you two been hiding.''
The two brothers turn and widen their eyes seeing her. Al starts panicking as does Ed who tries speaking up nervously. ''O-ooh hey… Teacher, how's it been?''
Immediately the woman swings a massive punch across Ed's face. Yugi and the girls sweat drop heavily as the young alchemist is tossed onto a tree, falling backwards with his face slammed face-forward on the ground.
''DON'T YOU DARE TALK TO ME SINCE YOU ARE A DAMN DOG!'' The woman yells furiously. Ruby sweat drops heavily hiding behind Alicia who also sweat drops as did Yugi and Ichigo. Alphonse would be peeing himself if he was still in his real body as Ed grunts pulling himself up, rubbing his face.
''I got worry after learning you left Artemis and I had to find your friend Winry to get the details!'' The woman yells at them with her arms crossed.
Ed scoffs groaning. The woman glares more telling both him and the trembling Al, lecturing them. ''Honey and I had to hunt for you two and there we learn you went far to this damn place.''
She slams her right fist over her left palm, proclaiming as she cracks her knuckles. ''You think you two could hide from me but as usually, you two underestimate me!''
Ed refuses to defend himself, having his reasons.
''T-teacher we weren't hiding from you, we're well helping others and trying to regain our bodies.'' Alphonse explains to their teacher. She eyes them until Ichigo speaks up interrupting their conversation. ''Um Mrs. Housewife Nya? Did they cause you problems?''
Edward groans glaring at her for saying he causes problems.
''Living with strangers?'' The teacher questions whether the siblings are surprised that these kids know them so well. Ed rolls his eyes around by that ''statement''.
''They're actually our friends.'' Alphonse explains happily. The woman raises an eyebrow as her husband was surprised too.
''Friends? Really?'' She questions rather amazed. This is a first since Ed is stubborn and he and Al would likely not befriend anyone in search of restoring their bodies. She forms a smirk eyeing Yugi and the girls.
''Nice to meet you all. I am Izumi Curtis, housewife!'' The adult woman, Izumi, introduces herself as cocky and confident. The four sweat drops with Alicia responding. ''We got the last bit.''
Izumi grins as she then introduces her husband, hugging him happily. ''And this lovely bear of a man is my husband Sig.''
''Hello.'' Sig responds blushing.
''Hi.'' Ruby responds with sweat drops behind the back of her head. Alicia then realizes something asking Ed. ''Wait, you called her teacher. Does she know alchemy too?''
Edward sighs nodding with Izumi revealing proudly. ''That's just a practice.''
Izumi turns to the tree she slammed Ed on. She smirks, clapping her hands, sparks flying out, as she places her palms on the tree trunk. Sparks of electricity courses through them and that part of the tree became a birdhouse.
Ichigo gasps, uttering out. ''No way! She can use the same alchemy powers too Nya!''
''SO COOL!'' Ruby yells out excitedly, wishing her friends were here to have seen that.
Yugi also begins to understand that Izumi might have gone through the same terrible act that Ed and Al did too so they could bring back their dead mother, Human Transmutation. He wonders about that as he could oddly feel something… otherworldly around the souls of Ed, Al and Izumi.
''They seem to know you well Edward.'' Sig comments to the older Elric who snickers a bit, admitting it so.
Izumi coughs up as she gazes at the two brothers and questions them with a serious, frightening face. ''Alright, so you two have been behaving well!''
Ed and Al panic, uttering out loudly. ''Y-YES TEACHER!''
''WE ARE EQUALS, NOT MASTER AND STUDENT!'' Izumi corrects them yelling as the two yell back panicking. ''Y-YES MA'AM!''
''This is really weird.'' Ruby expresses blushing of worry. Alicia sweat drops though tells her having seen weirder stuff. ''Not the weirdest but close.''
Ichigo giggles until she hears car breaks. She turns and groans with Yugi also hearing that informing the group. ''Speaking of weird stuff.''
The group turns to see a Blue-Eyes-like sports car stopping on its tracks in front of the house. The group watches with Yugi stepping forward, knowing who it is. Emerging out of the car is Kaiba, gazing at the tricolor head.
''Kaiba-Baka?!'' Ichigo utters out sounding very upset, not wanting that jerk here of all times.
Why is Kaiba here? Well you guys can guess.
Commercial Break:
Ruby: Kaiba-Baka? Who's that?
Alicia: Oh just someone who Yugi and to an extent Judai somehow respect.
The group watches as Kaiba walks up to them but mainly towards Yugi. Ruby blinks, not sure who this guy is but he seems… pretty stoic like Shadow.
''Kaiba-kun, happy to see you here.'' Yugi greets his rival with a smiling grin. Kaiba scoffs at not replying.
Ichigo blinks to see this egoist rich boy here, uttering out amazed. ''I'm shocked you came to visit me, Kaiba-Baka.''
Kaiba turns gazing at the pajama that the red cherry hair girl is wearing, without her pigtails ribbons on.
''I didn't come to see you Momomiya.'' He tells her off annoyed that she assumed he came to see her of all people. He then asks suspiciously about her getup at this time of day. ''What happened to you?''
Ichigo startles slightly, frowning as she just comments. ''Long… story Nya.''
Kaiba scoffs, not bothering to ask again. He does say his reasons for coming here. ''I came because Kisara was supposed to be here as a surprise.''
''Kisara-chan was supposed to visit me Nya?'' Ichigo utters in shock. Kisara did call her a few days ago while she was still recovering and may have mentioned she had an accident.
''And Mokuba went with her." Kaiba then adds with a concerned expression before going back to his firm, cold glance but towards Yugi, demanding him seriously. "Both are missing and I want your damn help Yugi! No exceptions.''
Yugi blinks in shock as does Ichigo. Izumi watches this and hums eyeing Ed.
"Is he a friend of yours?'' She asks him with Edward scoffing, insulted and he replies. ''Like hell this guy is a friend.''
Alphonse sweat drops, actually able to agree with his brother on that.
''Can't you locate where your brother was?'' Alicia asks to get boldly replied back by Kaiba still gazing at the tricolor head. ''I already have but something tells me this involves you, Yugi.''
Yugi sighs, not even sure who would kidnap Mokuba and Kisara. Was it the Dark Lord? Aigami? Light? At this point it is his problem so he accepts. ''Okay, I'll help you Kaiba-kun.''
''I'm coming too!'' Ruby, jumping in between the two, declares eagerly not having any clue who this rude guy is but helping Yugi will make her stronger and learn more from the awesome Dragon Knight. Kaiba scoffs as he knew Yugi would-
It is then that Seto staggers eyeing the red riding hood ripoff in front of him-
''Oh my god, who the hell is this Fairy Tale?'' He questions extremely furiously. Ruby grins, gladly introducing herself a bit nervous as she stretches her right arm to him for a hand shake. ''I'm R-Ruby Rose, huntress-in-training! Nice to meet y-you!''
''…'' Seto just gazes at her coldly which causes Ruby to pull back shivering heavily. She trembles more by the intensifying gaze from his cold blue eyes so much she quickly gets behind Ichigo, laughing nervously.
''It's a long story.'' Ichigo simply says blushing not wanting to tell the man who can make a towering space station over the Earth that magical dimension portals manifest and 4 girls fell out from it as well as a weird crane guy and his weirder sidekick.
''I don't give two damns if it is a long story, I don't need two annoying red heads.'' Kaiba declares gazing angrily at the two girls with red hair. Ichigo hisses with Ruby sticking out her tongue still using her friend as a shield.
Alicia sweat drops at those two. She eyes Kaiba and tells him off calmly. ''Look, you ask for Yugi's help so you know if he's going to help, his friends will too!''
Kaiba scoffs not objecting… much.
''Sadly Naruto went back to his home village and Judai is off. Ichigo is also out of commission too so that leaves but me and Ruby can come.'' Alicia then tells him with Kiba again not caring much, simply replying. ''Fine with me.''
Ed nods firmly, not wishing to be part of this crap.
''Aren't you going to help them you two?'' Ed panics as he and Al turn to face Izumi. Edward coughs as he kindly expresses himself. ''If it was Yugi, without a doubt, but I won't do it for Kaiba.''
''Besides, I think Mr. Kaiba would prefer no more help.'' Alphonse agrees with his brother. They know better than to help a egoist, heartless man like that and besides Yugi can handle this. Izumi, however, doesn't agree as she orders them with dark glares. ''I suggest you two go help or else.''
The two brothers sweat trembling and respond shaken to their core. ''Y-Yes Teacher!''
Ichigo giggles finally meeting someone else that gets under Ed's skin too well. Kaiba gazes at the older couple and questions. ''And them?''
''Another long story.'' Yugi expresses smiling. Kaiba scoffs walking back to his car as he orders him. ''Just come already!''
Yugi sighs, still smiling. He turns facing the red cherry head, frowning as he begins to say. ''Ichigo-kun-''
Ichigo interrupts him by kissing him on the lips. He faces blushes red as she tells him giggling. ''Go Nya. I still have to recover so go help Kaiba-Baka and come back save.''
The young Dragon Knight eyes her and nods, promising her.
Alicia winks promising to come back as she goes to grab her shield and lance. Once everyone is set with Yugi sitting shotgun next to Kaiba with the others squeezed together just barely due to Al's size, Ichigo bids them farewell. ''Good luck everyone! And Eddy-''
''I KNOW. I got his back Ichigo.'' Ed tells her already knowing her request. She giggles nodding. Kaiba doesn't say much as he drives off or well as fast as he could due to Al's weight slowing his speed down.
Ichigo watches them and slowly frowns. As she walks back inside her house, Ichigo starts having thoughts on why she isn't going with them. Sure she's still recovering but she feels almost like 100%, she could help Yugi and the others and most of all help her pen pal friend who was also taken too.
''I should at least go too. Kisara-chan is my dear friend too Nya!'' Ichigo yells at herself. Realizing she's an idiot, she races to her room to open her bedside table drawer, revealing her Mew Pendant Necklace in it. The pendant shines oddly awaiting to be used again. Ichigo smiles, reaching and grabbing it.
As Ichigo puts on her Mew Pendant Necklace around her neck, she immediately sees flashes of her fight against Mew Blackberry. The overwhelming pressure, the horrifying pain, the unshakable brutality: that twisting laughing from her voice still echoing in her soul. Ichigo breathes heavily instantly sitting on her bed, shaking violently as tears begin dripping from her eyes.
''No… I-I'm not…'' Ichigo tries uttering, placing her hands over her head, still shaking as her face is filled with nothing but dread and terror. She sobs climbing on her bed, crouching in fear.
The group arrives at where Mokuba and Kisara were last, spotting the abandoned and partly destroyed black limousine car. Kaiba checks the back to see no one there. Yugi checks the front and helps pull out the driver, who is still unconscious.
Edward points out that the windows of the limo were destroyed and theorizes it has to be some with strong vibration by how the glass shattered. Izumi smirks, agreeing with him.
''SO THIS WAS A KIDNAPPING!'' Ruby expresses loudly with Alicia sweat drop by her overreaction. Kaiba looks at the damage of the limo and grunts as there were no marks of fire or deep cuts from a weapon. He grunts louder, uttering out. ''Tch, was hoping this was the Dark Lord.''
''Of course you wanted it to be him!'' Yugi says in a taunting voice. Kaiba glares at him, responding annoyed. ''Don't flatter yourself. Can you sense where they went.''
Yugi focuses, closing his eyes, seeing the blurs of auras that take the form of human bodies and one he partly recognizes. He sees Mokuba and Kisara but the other people who took them were new to him. He tries sensing where they went with what little their auras left behind but not much. He opens his eyes and informs Kaiba. ''They were here but I don't know where they went. A good few hours passed.''
Seto scoffs as he begins to say. ''Mokuba has a tracking beacon on him on all times undetected.''
Kaiba then activates his headsets as the visor eye glows, pointing at where the beacon is pointing towards. ''Except by me.''
''Then let's go!'' Ruby announces happily only to get a gaze at her who trembles hiding behind Alicia. She sweat drops until she realizes something and asks. ''But if it wasn't the Dark Lord, who would kidnap your brother then?''
That's the part that pisses Kaiba the wrong way, simply saying as he marches the way. ''I don't know who but whoever did will pay dearly with their lives.''
Yugi hums calmly hoping that's not the case. Still, whoever did this must know who they would face up against. So why?
Mokuba stirs weakly, finally regaining his consciousness. He finds himself strapped in chains on a chair within a large laboratory.
''W-what's going on?'' He questions mentally, his head still having a huge headache. He eyes the strange scientists and soldiers guarding. ''Who are these guys?''
He looks around and spots something in shock. It was Kisara trapped within some kind of cryo tank-like tube with multiple wires and smaller tubes connected to it.
''Kisara-san!'' Mokuba yells out in shock. Everyone doesn't seem to be bothered by his yelling. This enraged Mokuba demanding as he struggles, trying to break free.''What are you guys doing to her?!''
''To give Seto the means to conquer the world.'' Mokuba staggers, turning to a man sitting on a throne chair. He twirls around to reveal a thin tan-skinned man with grey hair and dark grey eyes. He has bushy eyebrows, and a fairly neatly trimmed mustache and triangular beard. He wears a similar dark military-like uniform as well as an eyepatch covering his left eye. He does wield a Duel Disk on his left wrist arm.
Mokuba didn't recognize the man, questioning him seriously. ''Who are you? And what do you mean by Seto?''
The man eyes the young boy and twirls his chair showing his back.
"All will be revealed to you and your brother.'' He simply states looking at a screen, showing the image of Seto traveling with Yugi and the others to where they are heading. ''Soon…''
Who is this man and what is his aim for Seto? All will be revealed soon.

Leading the group to an underground base, Kaiba, Yugi and the others are attacked. Fighting back though, Yugi and Kaiba find Mokuba and shockingly Kisara as well as the man behind all of this. Kaiba now faces something he hates more than anything; the past.

Yang: Meh, he's good at the least.
Honda sighs defeated: Well I try!
Jonouchi sighs sending a text to Yugi if he wants to hang out later but blinks: Um…
Yang: What?
Jonouchi: Eh nothing, we just dodged a bullet helping Kaiba.
Yang: Who?
Honda: You don't need to know.
Yang: Ah cool!
