Volume 5: Episode 34: The Story before the Darkness! Akumu's Past!
In the previous episode of DKR:
For helping Kaiba, he gave Yugi and his friends a one day free tickets to Kaiba Land in Tokyo. With Ichigo fully healed and Ed angry that Winry who came to rebuild his broken Automail arm wanting a free day of fun, the group headed off to the amusement to have a regular fun.
There, after Alicia asked Judai something with Ruby demanding to want to know, Judai told them a small story about a tournament he was in last year well of his time. There he reached the finals and his opponent was none other than Manjoume. Exciting at the idea to see how much his rival develop, Judai sent a message to all of his old friends to watch the duel.
So, broadcasted across the world, Judai and Manjoume commenced their epic rematch. With short corners made from Manjoume bringing out Ojama King, Light and Darkness Dragon and Armed Dragon LV10; Judai however countered back with Elemental HERO Terra Firma, Tempest and Flare Neos. But Manjoume wasn't finished as he brought out his ultimate ace, Armed Dragon LV12. With this unstoppable dragon, Judai almost lost but having his own trump card, he summoned forth the first Savior HERO, Savior HERO Planetary Neos. It was certain Judai won but Manjoume still had a trump card and the whole duel was between Winged Kuriboh and Ojama Yellow. In the end Judai won with his winged partner delivering the final blow.
Regardless of the end, it was an exciting duel for both duelists even if Manjoume complained that next time it would be different.
The day of fun ended well with Yugi hoping things remain. However he came across a strange man with plain sugar donut and a strange ring.
But, what will happen next?
And now the conclusion... a few days later since the previous episode:
Reading a page on one of his favorite books ''Art of Deception and Betrayal'', Arkham hums having a cup of tea set as well as for the other villains around him in the dining room within Equalord Enterprise. Of course it wasn't the employee dining room but one of the upper floors no worker has ever walked inside for those rooms are the dark secrets of this company; the floors made for the Dark Lord and his allies.
Arkham gazes at his fellow villains. Eggman is eating a large, long submarine sandwich but he is focusing more on his technological tablet, working on the last piece of his current project.
Vlad is enjoying the tea that Arkham has prepared with biscuits while looking up how the Packers football team was doing… and Twitter on what Mandy Fenton was talking about. He sighs missing her SO MUCH.
Greed is relaxing on his chair, both his feet on the table, bored out of his mind. He is listening to a Walkman that he got from the Dark Lord.
The newest member to their bunch, Roman Torchwick, is also enjoying the cup of tea while blowing his cigar. His partner, Neo, remains silent as she stares at Arkham who chuckles waving at her. He recalls a mute he had treated before. First thing she did was scream at the one who left her mute, her father, and killed him. Good times.
Arkham observes the group and breaks the silence speaking up. "How's the tea? I made it myself.''
''Delicious. I'm actually impressed. I can taste the precise talent in your brewing.'' Vlad expresses actually delighted with the tea. Even though the masked man is… unease to speak. It's like he's waiting to get a piece of information to expose that person's weakness for his own satisfaction.
Arkham snickers, thanking him. ''Thank you Mr. Masters. I find it enjoyable doing something that doesn't well involve me poking into someone's mind or killing.''
''… How are drinking the tea?'' Roman asks, noticing Arkham's cup is empty. The masked man wags his fingers not planning to reveal his secret.
''About that…'' Eggman suddenly speaks up, reminding the masked man that his time is limited. The Dark Lord placed him in a 2 week situation in which he must apologize for the beating that his niece got from that evil Mew Mew that Arkham was responsible for.
''You seem relaxed knowing the Dark Lord will kill you.'' Greed also speaks up his eyes covered by his sunglasses but grins menacingly.
Arkham gazes at him and chuckles correcting him. ''I'm not at all worried.''
''Cocky you are, half of Haou.'' A new voice speaks up. The group turns to see Amon, gazing firmly at Arkham who hums, standing up from his chair.
''I'm quite aware who you are, Amon Garam.'' Arkham greets the young man, knowing who he is and the story behind him. After all, he shares Judai's memories when he gained the powers of Haou.
''…'' Amon did not reply, glaring with an icy look. Arkham stares and can see the silhouette of Exodia over Amon's back. The masked man hums, not frightened as he begins to say, snarky at the young man's sins. ''… You wanted Haou's but also Yubel's powers so badly that you would kill your own adopted sibling who loved you to gain the power of Exodia. Ironic.''
Amon glares even angrier as he squeezes tightly on his hands. Arkham chuckles now taunting him as his eyes show a delight of enjoyment. ''Let me guess what you want to tell me: You don't like me and want my power. Yes?''
No response from Amon who glares. The masked man stares at him and snickers.
''Your silence will be enough to confirm my suspicious.'' Arkham states amused. The others watch as they can feel the tension between them.
''Well at least they get to speak up their opinions.'' Roman tells himself, really preferring the Dark Lord's style other than… getting the boss angry. She can be scarier though a dragon that can eat him is scarier. Greed oddly felt the same… at the least these guys are working for the dragon for their own obsessions and he doesn't care… unlike his damn father.
Amon has heard enough of his crap and calls out at Arkham. ''Enjoy mocking me. I wonder if the Dark Lord will enjoy it too.''
''And what if he isn't? What if he doesn't kill me?'' Arkham taunts the young man, certain the Dark Lord will not end his life. Enraged, Amon responds by manifesting his Duel Disk. The masked man snickers, figuring as much.
''Ah, of course. I am actually-'' Arkham begins to say willingly to duel Amon and trash him. However before he could continue, the ground below became a pool of darkness. The two distance themselves as Dark General Knight emerges from the pool. He gazes at Arkham and orders him. ''It's time, Arkham. My lord wishes to see you, now.''
''Oh well let me just-'' Arkham begins to tell him wishing to duel Amon, however Dark General Knight had no time. He raises his armored right gloved hand as the pool surrounds Arkham and begins sinking him.
''Never mind.'' Arkham comments with a slight chuckle. The two sink in the darkness. Amon scoffs leaving in a fury.
Eggman sighs, drinking the whole tea in one gulp as he announces. ''Well I have an old robot to restore.''
Vlad salutes as Eggman leaves, walking to his private lab and in a cyro-tank, lies a fully rebuilt Metal Sonic. Just one piece to go which Eggman had and he prepares to download it, his memories chip, into the new body.
However, watching in the shadows, Yami Bakura observes as he forms a small smirk.
The pool of darkness now manifests as Arkham is shot out. Dark General Knight surfaces with his arms crossed. Arkham looks around as he's inside the Dark Lord's office. Turning, he sees Akumu, having his dinner… of a cooked human body.
''Don't mind him. He was a worker that was abusing his position and stole from families. I corrected the matter for said families and this man's life.'' Akumu explains with a sinister smirk, happy he helped the families his worker robbed with falsified papers… and EVEN happier devouring his body. Plus it's always a pleasure burning the body alive too.
Arkham hums making sense he's a cannibal; he is part dragon.
After drinking a sip of his glass of wine, Akumu breathes, satisfied as he gazes at the masked man. He forms a frown, doing a steeple hand gesture as he reminds Arkham. ''It's been two weeks now, Arkham.''
Arkham is aware as the Dark Lord gave him two weeks to make it up for his error on reviving Mew Blackberry and well things becoming out of hand.
''I don't like killing allies who would assist me greatly but I despise traitors or those who will stab my back!'' Akumu admits loudly, gently putting his cup on the table. He gazes with such hate towards Arkham for what he did to his niece. HIS NIECE. The room begins to quake as Arkham feels the intense fury coursing through the Dark Lord. Dark General Knight hums his arms crossed, actually calm by the furious aura of his lord.
''You stabbed me in my back letting that lion harm my niece.'' Akumu expresses coldly at the masked man, containing his anger from not killing him but he won't, yet. Arkham is a rather strange villain and yet has the most potential to be on his side. But if he can't be trusted then he must not let anyone else, especially that Aizen, to have Arkham.
''Now how will you fix your sin before I am forced to kill you?'' He demands firmly, pondering his hands together for a response. Arkham looks at him, not responding at first. For a moment, he finally speaks up by apologizing. ''… First allow me to apologize for my… mistake. It won't happen again.''
Akumu looks at him not completely satisfied while Dark General Knight scoffs knowing such an apology won't be enough.
''And secondly… before I reveal my offer, I simply have one question I must ask of you, my dear Akumu.'' Arkham, however, asks of the Dark Lord for a simple request before he can pay for his mistake. ''What can you tell me about the man before the dragon?''
Akumu raises an eyebrow adjusting himself on his throne and questions him annoyed. ''What are you demanding?''
Arkham's eyes squinted rather excitedly as he finally asks him. ''I wish to know the past of Akumu Momomiya is all.''
Dark General Knight staggers and immediately backs away, not by Arkham's demand but his master's face. Akumu makes such an icy look, filled with murderous anger that his entire body is covered in dark fiery aura. He floats off his throne chair and hovers right in front of Arkham, his eyes glowing of the demonic dragon eyes of the Dark Lord.
''Why the hell should I tell you this?'' Akumu tells him so coldly that his fists shake viciously, wanting to rip him apart as his tight fists morph into black scaled dragon claws. Arkham didn't need to look down to sense this change or his murderous intent.
Sighing, Arkham sees no point in going through with any of this as he now declares. ''Then you may as well kill me.''
Akumu suddenly stops himself, his aura vanishing completely off guard. The dark knight hums believing him as did his lord but why?
''I would rather die than present my offer without first knowing the man who goes by Dark Lord.'' Arkham expresses as honestly as he could put it. There is calm silence as the Dark Lord looks at the masked man's eyes.
''… Heh.'' Actually cracking a laugh, Akumu hears enough as he accepts. ''Fine.''
Dark General Knight is left startled, not thinking his lord would be willing to reveal his past to that man. But why? Why does Arkham want to know so badly?
Arkham lets out a sigh of relief as he won't die by his stand. However, the Dark Lord does say gazing at him with a smug smirk. ''But first remove your mask, Reaper-san.''
Arkham's golden eyes widen looking back at Akumu. He knows who he is?
''How did you know?'' He questions the Dark Lord who smirks tapping his forehead and Akumu explains. ''You've learned of me and I did my own homework. A psychologist well-respected but has lied about how you made patients kill someone they hated. Why?''
Arkham does not say a word until he reaches for his mask and removes it. He reveals to be Alan Reaper except his hair took on a wicked, sharp pointy hairstyle resembling a mix of Judai's and Yami Bakura's hairstyles.
The young psychologist calmly cracks a smile revealing to the Dark Lord in such a dramatic, proud voice and position with his hands holding up to his sides. ''To set them free. Why should they live lives they hate if they will become more tortured within their hearts? It liberates them.''
''… Fair.'' Akumu agrees, always against the idea of humans having enemies and not being able to kill them. They have every right to do so.
Having explained that part, Alan puts on his mask as he asks of him. ''One moment please.''
Akumu crosses his arms but allows it. Arkham nods as his cape suddenly wraps around himself rapidly. The Dark Lord and his general now standing beside him watch as the cape vanishes as the masked man is dressed in his civilian form.
Alan is now wearing brown leather shoes, light brown pants, a white shirt with a blue wool vest and a red tie. He sits on the comfortable chair, crossing his right leg over his left leg as he holds on a notebook with pen at hand.
Sitting on a psychologist chair that just suddenly manifested behind him, Alan proclaims fully ready. ''Now I'm ready.''
Dark General Knight groans not liking this as he expresses his concerns. ''My lord, this is a bad idea. Psychologists are weak feeble beings who enjoy poking into others minds to expose their weakness. Such weak sub-type of humans.''
''Probably however that is how I learn more on my subjects and clients.'' Alan corrects the dark knight who groans enraged. Akumu, however, floats back and sits back on his throne declaring. ''Enough chit chat, let me tell you my story before I end you Reaper-san.''
Alan chuckles amused by his optimism knowing well he could see Akumu does not like his past. Will it be a situation like Seto Kaiba in which his past is a hell or will it be more like Shadow's that is a curse… or will it be the reason why he wants to help the true villain among this world of foolish villains and heroes.
''Today you are my client now talk to me, Mr. Momomiya.'' Alan informs him kindly, listening closely to the story he will learn today. ''Tell me from the beginning.''
Akumu hums not saying a word, listening to his own humming as he forms a small frown.
''… The Beginning huh?'' He mutters out as he starts to remember those times, those times of his childhood… those times when he wasn't Akumu Momomiya; his origin before becoming Dark Leader Dragon. And so he begins his tale, from the start…
Flashback… Akumu's POV: About over 40 years ago:
You wouldn't believe me when I told you this but my life didn't started yet. These years in my life were well, my shell… and a hammer cracking on it.
''My so-called childhood was seemingly like any others… at first.'' I began to explain my story. ''I was raised to respect and help others, wanting to show my younger brother Shintaro how it was done.''
Yes I was the older one always spending time with my younger brother who rather admired me. After all, one time a tree branched dropped on him and I used all of my strength to pull him out of it. If I didn't do what I did, my brother would have died.
Shintaro called me a hero… my parents though blamed this innocent on me and grounded me for a year. I was unable to do anything but study and be alone in my room.
''Though whenever I did something good, it would bite me hard in the ass.''
A time during his early school days; the bully I beaten up on was the son of a lawyer who sued my family while the kid I defended from testified against me and he even picked on me becoming friends with the bully. My parents punished me with another one year groundage.
''I thought it was strange why me but I ignored it… though…''
I helped my classmates with the studying unaware they were just copying answers I would make thus putting the blame on the cheating on me.
There was another innocent that a fire was started on my school and they found the culprit, a classmate of mines I befriended before and he started the fire using a textbook I borrowed to him. The school blamed this on my actions and well I was forced to be kicked out, again.
When I arrived to my new school, immediately some group of assholes pulled a prank that went horribly wrong on me which resulted with a teacher getting seriously hurt and then I was blamed on THIS TOO. And worst part, the prank they were going to do on me, it was misfired when I let that teacher walk in the room first after helping her get the textbooks. I was forced to repeat the year because of it.
''I was being treated as a villain before I knew what that meant but my little brother, as stupid as he was, always believed in me.''
No matter what actions or bad luck that happen to me, Shintaro always believed me. I… I felt happy, though my parents did not feel the same for me.
''Time passed as I would only get more in trouble for helping.''
I managed to pass my classes even after all the misfortune and yet it didn't change anything.
Helping a moving truck that was actually robbers stealing a home and the blame went on me to going out with a girl I liked was a trick from some boys who placed a prank on her without me being aware and after she was humiliated she blamed it all on me. Even when I beat up on those boys for all they did, my high school kicked me out instead and unfairly.
I had to repeat my year again but even after all my struggles, I passed… but barely. However, when I tried to apply to college; my bank account was seemingly wrong. This must have happened when I was applying to my college to pay for the semester and that attendant somehow screwed with me. My parents refused to help so I had to apply in a market carrying boxes and so forth.
''I didn't want to be trapped in these miserable, unfortunate events anymore so I joined the police academy to become something more… but…''
I caught the criminal but the man refused to be taken so while cuffed, he broke free and made a run into the road where a car just slam him, killing him right on the spot. The blame went on me and I was removed from the academy just because my trainer at the time wasn't there to help me with the criminal because he was feasting on donuts and taking bribes.
''My parents called me a bad luck sin, always making more problems and dirtying up their family name… to the point that they began fighting more and more.''
My parents began getting a divorce because of me. ME? Worst, they were willing to let me starve in death kicking me out of their home after I returned from work… after getting fired for a robbery that they blamed me because I was attending an elderly couple with their purchases. It didn't help me that the other works were on their breaks at the time.
''Only Shintaro believed in me even past all the terrible stuff that had happened to me.''
And yet… I got fed up with him and told him to fuck off. Shintaro was silent but nodded, wanting to understand him.
After everything that had happened to me, I made a choice: Leave.
''Regardless, I decided to leave my home town to explore Tokyo, wishing to find my calling and finally break free from this curse. To be happy… to be respected, to become someone great.''
It didn't help that even as I traveled around my country, my bad luck for helping others still screwed with me. Why? Why was my karma like this? Why?
I tried to apply to a company but they sadly well turned me down. Why? One of the higher tops was one of my bullies.
So I went to different jobs but due to misfortune events like helping someone else, I suffered and lost each chance given to me.
''My travels would take me to Kyoto, up above to a place called Mahora City.''
I came here hearing about a huge job opportunity where I'll earn a lot of money and I was under pressure to go for it.
''I took on a delivery service where rumors that previous delivery men were killed along the way somewhere in the woods.''
It was an easy job. Just deliver a few things secure inside a backpack and travel through the woods. Simple enough.
''I accepted the job not having much of a choice… and well…''
It was maddening that this forest was so far, deep and no proper path. Regardless, I walked through it, using a compass and map to take me to the location… though it felt forever. 2 days traveling by foot and my journey was closed… until I was cornered by strange people resembling bounty hunters.
"What do you want with me!'' I demanded after being pushed back hard by the large men. They all seem to grin viciously except big buff one who seems to be the leader. His one eye gazed down at him since he had a blindfold covering his left eye.
''We don't want you, we want the witch.'' He said calmly yet deep. I raised an eyebrow not following.''Witch? What are you-''
''Oh this one doesn't know.'' One of the men said rather eagerly, sticking out his tongue as he licked his lips. The leader scoffed not caring as he stated. ''Pity, he'll have to do.''
''After that day, I learned there were these bounty hunters who were using people as sacrifices to lure out a witch. I was scared obviously but I refused to be killed, not until I could become something. I had to, I needed to!''
They dragged me deeper in the forest, planning to kill me to let my blood draw out this witch. But I wasn't going to die like this. Not after going through so much. He won't die.
I managed to break free and grabbed a stick to defend myself.
''Some brat! So you are able to fight?'' One of the men proclaimed eagerly pulling out a knife. I glared furious, for the first time in my life I will oppose what fate had made me go through.
''I won't die by a bunch of assholes who can decide who lives and who dies.'' I told them off, refusing to die here.''I LIVE MY LIFE MY OWN WAY!''
I engaged the men only to easily get beaten by their largest numbers and better weapons. Though I did manage to bash the leader across the face… except it didn't even stun or fazed him.
''Pest. Now you will die!'' The leader shouted swinging a punch as his hand was equipped with piercing brass knuckle glove at my face. I watched with horrified eyes, unable to move out of the way. I trembled as the swing across his face… and the nothing. I felt nothing but a wind except liquid. I touched my face and it was red… it was blood.
I looked up and widen my eyes to see his missing bleeding hand.
''M-MY HAND!'' The leader screamed in horrified pain, gripping on his missing hand. The other men staggered in terror before we all heard a voice, a young girl's voice speaking up. ''My-my, is this yours?''
We all turned and saw a small girl, grinning mischievous as she had the man's missing hand.
She has long platinum blonde hair, her front hair in a neatly pattern covering her forehead with long thin hair bangs on her sides and blue eyes that spark a small light of red. While she appears as a 10-year-old girl, her face and eyes almost say otherwise as did her ominous grins. She wears a black, gothic Lolita dress with black boots and puffy black, elbow lengthen wristbands around her arms.
I widened my eyes stunned by her rather beauty.
''I felt like a pervert staring at a 10 year old girl like that but she looked… well, she look beautiful.''
The girl smirked confident waving at all with the man's hand in her possession, almost mocking him. I wasn't scared or puzzled, I was admiring her appearance more than anything that he felt wrong and yet…
''Her lovely blonde hair, her almost piercing blue eyes glowing, her mere confidence; I could tell she wasn't any normal girl by her appearance alone but what I saw next confirmed it.''
One of the men finally made a move and charged at her. The little girl watched puzzled as he just a distraction as another tossed a special net over her and wrapped her in rope, tying her up tightly.
''Finally! We get the so-called Dark Mage herself!'' He proclaimed proudly, getting really excited. ''I GOT HER! I-''
The other men and their lead smirked, about to cheer until suddenly they heard a gasp. I stared with such a face, never before seeing anything like it. We stare and widen our eyes as multiple ice speaks had shot out across the wrapped net as some stabbed through him. The man gasped, blood dripping out as the net is ripped apart, revealing that the little girl was unscratched and the ice spikes were surrounding her, protecting her like a shield.
I just couldn't believe this at all as the woman began to express giggling. ''My-my-my. What was the last number of Bounty Hunters I've killed? 25? 68? 410? 751? 943?''
She turned eyeing the man she had stabbed as the ice spikes melted away around her, becoming vapor. She grinned, her blue eyes piercing him that her round pupils sharpen and lengthened.
''Ah yes, 1291-'' She announced as she taps her right index finger on his chest. He started to gasp louder as his skin began to turn blue and his body becoming solid. She hummed tapping on him and his body literally fell apart, shattering into pieces.
The other men panicked as the little girl suddenly vanished. They panicked further putting up their guards, hearing giggling. Before they knew it, each one dropped their weapons. I turned and widened my eyes again to see each men killed within a second but by different methods. One was ripped apart into pieces, another was stabbed through the chest by what could be arrows of black energy, two were beheaded and half their body ripped apart and the last was strangled by golden thin energy-like threads.
I watched as I heard a mutter. ''1299.''
I turned and saw the little girl thrusting her hand into the leader's chest. He had a dying face as the little girl leaned up to his neck and opens her mouth, revealing sharp fangs before biting right down to his neck. I watched as she was literally drinking his blood, watching his skin color become paler to pure white as the large gaping wound stopped leaking blood. She giggled pulling away, tossing the dead body on the ground and stated while grinning. ''1300.''
I just stared taken back. She killed them all with so much easy, without even struggling. And she drank that guy's blood. Was she a vampire? What the hell was happening anymore?
The little girl turned now facing me, the last person standing. I stared at her before I realized she was floating right in front of my face. I staggered by how she was in front of him so quickly. She began sniffing; lowering down to his pants and spoke up surprised. ''You're not wet. Strange.''
I just stared not following as she stated with a raise eyebrow. ''I killed those men and yet you're not soak. Why?''
''Oh… I am just a delivery man to-'' Getting it, I tried explaining it to her until she was gone. I blinked and felt lighter. I turned and she was now behind me holding the backpack I was carrying it. She opened it and smirked expressing rather happy with a soft grin. ''Oh yes! I did order long ago.''
I literally blushed seeing her cute smile. She may have killed 9 people but they deserved what was coming. Of course the girl noticed my expressed and demanded coldly. ''What?''
''Y-you look beautiful.'' I nervously responded, blushing even more intense. This was wrong of me; she was just a girl… yet… his heart could not deny she was utterly beautiful.
The girl just stared at me with a face that didn't believe what I was saying. She turned her back as she replied a bit hesitative. ''I see…''
I stared at her as she waited for a moment before she turned around and said firmly, her cheeks having a small faint of red. ''Alright, I'll spare you but only this once.''
She was going to do what as my face was more focused on hers. She was very tsundere, I told myself but she may have never been near someone like-
I stopped thinking as I realized she was gone. I turned around fast and saw her literally floating away with the backpack. I ran up to her but kept my distant to respect her, calling her out. ''W-wait!''
The girl twirled around gazing at him puzzled on what I wanted. I looked back at her blushing and asked her just one question and out of the many question any normal human would ask her; I just asked the most important one. ''What's your name?''
She looked at me even more puzzled before slowly cracking a smirk. She looked at me and said simply this. ''If I told you my name, I would have to kill you.''
I believed her, no doubt about that. She turned around and resumed leaving the area. I frowned but I wasn't upset. I was happy. She saved my life…
This next part though I left out from Arkham; I did not want him to ever know.
''Evangeline, if it makes you happy mortal.'' The girl suddenly revealed her name to me, making me blushed as she vanished into the forest before my very eyes.
''I had fallen in love with a 10 year old… I was scum.''
Surprisingly enough returning back to the city wasn't as hard as traveling inside the forest. I am surprised though that the forest was next to an all-girls boarding school. LITERALLY. My boss could have told me that but I would later learn that the school is extreme private and only allow a certain few people permission. I wondered why. Though the next part did pissed me off when I returned to get paid.
''But not as scummy as my bosses who assumed I died and when I came back didn't even bother paying for the delivery I made.''
Sighing defeated and not even paid for my hard work, I left the city.
"Life continues becoming unfair… but that one moment; that made me realized something.''
Looking at my hand, I realized deep in my very core I wanted what she, the little girl, had; power: Power to oppose the trash of this world and get what I wanted.
''I wanted power to change my life.''
I left by train, looking from my window view at the forest I would never see again… and vowed I would return one day I did gain power to meet her once more.
''And see her again.''
Commercial Break:
Arkham: Such an interesting first half. To think I am learning why Akumu is this kind of man!
Dark General Knight: Silence fool! You have yet to learn why my lord is who he is and you will.
Nearly a few years later, I continued to struggle badly. Much more than I wanted to avoid it, I had no place to turn back to but one.
"After failing again and again to find a place for myself or even hold up a decent job, I finally returned home…''
After so long, I returned home… and of course my parents still despised me. My mother had nothing to say to me, already remarried and my father didn't want me to affect my brother's life.
''And my family refused to accept me back home. I had nowhere else to go.''
Though in their new homes I did noticed photos of my brother, now starting high school in Domino City and sadly that was where I had to track my father who moved there.
''Regardless of all my sins and them hating each other, my parents still praised Shintaro as if I never existed. Everything I did or done compared to nothing to what he done.''
I sighed not sure what I did to deserve this. I supposed that was why I hate my younger brother; he did what I couldn't be. He continued living his life and did his best to help others in his own way. He was me but done right… and I hate that. I truly envy- detested him.
''And that's when I saw him.''
As I left my father's house, I came across Shintaro just returning from school. He had that stupid smiling face, hugging me.
''And he saw me, smiling like an idiot I hated.''
He bought me a lunch as he asked what I was doing and how I was holding off. He went on about his stupid love for samurais and the honor of a samurai. He talked about kendo, about some other crap… then a guy called Takao. I barely listened though it felt… nice, talking to someone. My brother then had an idea where he could live since their father would still protest, taking me to a small rental apartment complex.
''He showed me a cheap rented home I could live at least until I could find a solid job while he joked about the idea of becoming a principal.''
I scoffed at the idea but whatever, that was who his brother was- still is sadly.
After getting a room, Shintaro headed home but promised to see him tomorrow to get more stuff. I told him to scrammed as I didn't need his help but well-
''Of course you need help! You're my Onii-san and I'll always help you like you help me!'' Shintaro told vowing that he will always be there for him. I just… didn't say a word as he ran off waving goodbye. Why? Why did he care?
I sighed swinging on a swing set alone, watching the sunset. What else could I even do?
"So I went there and saw a kid, playing alone.''
I saw him playing ball alone, grunting as he was the only child in the part. I watched him really depressed but I was going to leave anyway… though… I made up my mind and befriended the kid. He grinned as he asked if I wanted to play with him until his father arrived and he nodded, gladly. So we played.
''I felt bad so I played with him. The boy was really happy.''
The boy giggled as we had a good time… until multiple black cars arrived on the lonesome park as strange men walked out.
''Until I learned this boy was a son of Yakuza who was targeted by a rival Yakuza who fired at the boy.''
The men pointed with their machine guns at the boy. I just noticed in the last second as they started to fire… and I move in between them and the boy.
''I just reacted, using my body to protect him as I dropped hard.''
I grabbed on the body, guarding him as the bullets tear through me. The pain was… vicious. They only fire a few dozen until I dropped on top of the boy. They didn't bother checking the body as they drove off.
''They left assuming they got their kill.''
Coughing out blood, I smiled weakly as I was finally going to do a good thing. I tried to move as best as I could and rambled to the child if he was okay… no respond.
''I thought I did the right thing… only to realize the boy was dead. I was only holding on dear life.''
The some of the bullets had tear through the boy, killing him. I just lay on the ground, crying. I cried; I let him die and worst failed to protect the boy. I was really scum.
The worst wasn't over as another car arrived and a few men ran out with the one seemingly the leader rushing and kicking my bleeding body off the boy, uttering out his son's name.
''The father of that Yakuza and his men had arrived to see the massacre.''
The father cried in agony, telling his men to watch the boy and yelling at them for failing him. He was so filled with hate that he set his eyes on me, already bleeding out.
''The man was furious as he killed an already dying man on the ground, beating me up until I stopped breathing.''
He rushed at my lying body, stomping or punching me to a pulp, even trying to choke my bleeding mouth. I… I deserved this. I let the boy die… and yet… I didn't deserve this either.
The father was going to kill me until his men grabbed his boss, dragging him away.
''His men pulled him away from the scene and took the boy's body, leaving me on the ground more than dead…''
They tried to calm him down while respecting the boy's body with one of their coats. I watched as my vision became blurrier and rougher to see. The wounds were becoming more painful and the beaten didn't help. I was dying. I was going to die for real.
''Yet I was alive. I was still alive. I didn't understand. I was dead so I asked…''
''Why can't I become happy?'' I had asked myself, the seemingly last words I would say as the world truly became black, pitch darkness… and in that darkness, it spoke to me. ''Because the world is evil as is humanity.''
My eyes regain focus as I was in a world of only darkness. I could not feel my body as everything felt unfamiliar.
''Darkness swirled around me and there I saw the figure of shadows taking on the form of a dragon's head.''
This frightened me more than those bounty hunters that were going to kill me.
''I was scared, for once peeing and then some but that was since I was dead.''
And there, I realized this darkness wasn't just an area… it were things, it were hundreds of swirling black dragon-like things that resemble ghosts. Their serpent bodies swirled around me and their pitch red eyes finally glowing upon me.
I just stared unable to speak but they could somehow read my thoughts, introducing themselves to me. ''We are the Darkness of Destruction, the spirits of destruction, the essence of the Dark Lord. And we seek is you, Akumu. We seek your hate, your hatred to revive the great Dark Leader Dragon. And you will become the new Dark Lord.''
''I didn't understand what those voices were saying but it wanted me, it wanted my hate.''
I had no respond to this. What are they? What is this Dark Lord, this Dark Leader Dragon? Why my hatred? It was all so confusing. It didn't help as I began crying in my silent state, hating everything right now. My life, my mere existence, people, the world, life… fate: I hate ALL OF IT.
''I didn't understand why me and yet I cried. I cried because I was dead, because life was cruel, because humans were cruel, because what I did that was good was wrong.''
I started ranting in my very mind, screaming as loudly at this cruel existence. All I've done and it was all pointless. If I just didn't listen to my parents and did what I WANTED, then-THEN I WOULD NOT BE DYING HERE! IF PEOPLE THANKED ME, IF PEOPLE SAW I WAS GOOD, IF PEOPLE VALUBED ME- RESPECTED ME! I WOULDN'T BE DYING!
''I screamed in my head violently calling this fate of mines unfair, unfair how I tried to be a good person and all I get is more pain and torment. It was unjust, it was cruel; it was intolerable! I WANTED TO LIVE!''
The dragons, they understood what I was feeling and they all roar viciously almost like laughter. Not for my ranting and disgust towards life; but how they loved my hatred, my darkness.
"We know your pain. Let it out, let it consume you and let it spiral you into the darkness. There, we shall become one and give a second chance in life. A chance where everything you ever desired will become yours.'' They told me excitedly wanting me and I listened. I was stunned. I could be brought back to life? Was this the devil's doing? They shook their heads pleading to accept their offer. ''Accept our gift and you will change your fate.''
''Me? Change my own fate? I honestly didn't believe them… but I wanted to try. I wanted my life to truly change and me to gain what I was unable to get. This is what I wanted, what I desired.''
I still didn't understand their offer or any of this… but one thing, only one thing was true.
''… I wanted to live.''
The dragon read through me and grinned as they all launch or sank into my body. I let out a shrieking pain, so hard that in reality the Yakuza and saddened leader father watching my body and my screaming. My body, lifted up by such power, ripped apart before them, bones and blood in a mix with dark aura consuming me. It was indescribable what this feeling was as it torn my body apart and began to reshape me. To those humans, they were watching the birth- no, the reborn of a monster.
''The darkness swallowed me and literally ripped me apart. But the pain, it was nothing compare to what I went through and soon… it felt better.''
My vision and mind did not return as I was under this darkness. All I did hear was a roar and bullets firing. That enraged me, made let out an animal-like reaction.
''Everything became blurry but my rage; my hate guided me into murdering those Yakuzas as my first kills… and meals.''
I acted as an animal, literally moving as if I wasn't moving and breathing as if I was breathing flames. I heard the screams of men begging for mercy either being burned alive or being ripped apart… and then silence… shortly cut by crunchy and biting. I was hungry, so hungry… until I looked at the dead boy's body.
''I acted purely on instinct until I saw the dead boy in front of me. There I regain my senses.''
Everything became clear as my vision returned to me and my sense of being. I breathed heavily looking through a car window's reflection and saw… a monster: A black scaled, humanoid-like demon dragon. It all the features of a dragon, the snout and tongue and tail and wings and horns and scales and claws, but it- he was humanoid shaped. I stared at it, its red-yellow demonic dragon eyes piercing through me. It took me a moment to realize what this was, what I was, before looking back at the dead child. I frowned as I ripped the ground and made a hole, putting the boy inside of it before closing it up.
''I realized that fate was cruel and what I truly wanted; to bend fate, all of humanity to my will, under my power, under my rule. I would not stop until I change humanity with my new power and gain all I wanted, regardless of who stands or opposes me.''
I let out a loud, vicious roar spreading my wings. My time as a human had ended but my new life was born.
''From there my path for conquest, destruction and ruling began as I became the new Dark Leader Dragon, how I became the Dark Lord of Destruction, how Akumu Momomiya truly was born.''
Breathing, I was hungry again and literally took flight. Using my new senses, I tracked down the men who killed me. They were trembling, shooting at me but their bullets TICKED. I laughed, grinning twisted before I began to experiment with this new body, these new powers. I slaughter them in mere moments, leaving nothing but a bloody hideout and bones on the ground with plenty of scourge spots.
This was fun. So fun and more. I began to gain memories. The past, not mines technically, but those who became what I am now. The Dark Lord, Dark Leader Dragon. That was me now. And I could not help but grin. These powers- No, my powers, my rules, my ownership. I would not be like those past fools, obeying that king… our ''father'' and our ''brother'' causing nothing but despair. No, I would be different and I would prove it.
Facing a mirror, I focused deep in myself and within moments I changed back. I was me again, wounds healed and all. I started chuckling, not believing what I was and all I could achieve now.
''And from there I murdered the Yakuzas who killed me, and then I brought back Dark General Knight. His sealing tomb was place where a previous, weaker Dark Lord feared the knight's power. I however, saw someone worthy for the new me, for the new Dark Lord.''
Using the memories of a past Dark Lord, I learned of a great creation of his: A black knight that could never die. Such a being who went through such grief that his own hatred for revenge allowed him to become an immortal destroyer… and that feared many of the previous Dark Lords to the point the last one locked him up. He was too dangerous and would not obey those past Dark Lords in killing just anyone. He refused to kill the innocent or anyone not involved in their affairs.
I liked that. I like someone that doesn't see me as some master but one with his own conscious. If I wanted to rule this world, I needed someone like that on my side. So I went where he was sealed away and broke the seals, watching as the seemingly normal rusted suit of armor took upon new life, wrapped into become a giant suit of demonic black armor with red cape. The eye sockets of the helmet glowed red, covering the whole eye including the pupils and irises, as the suit of armor came to life.
The armored being, the one called Dark General Knight, looked at me and knew exactly what I was, bowing down before me.
''I will gladly serve you as always, my master.'' He expressed obedient. However, I scowled telling him. ''Don't bow if you call me master.''
He stared at me rather puzzled as I told him of what he is. ''I know how your Dark Lord brought you back but I didn't unseal you to obey me.''
I smiled softly telling him why I needed him. ''I want someone who gets that this world is cruel and evil and it is our job to make it our own cruel and evil world as its rulers. I want to change the world and rule it where all the other Dark Lords failed. To conquer humanity so they stop their foolish pursue of self-destruction.''
The armored knight just looked at me almost surprised. I was convinced no Dark Lord said anything like that to him but I was different and needed help where I lacked.
''I'm still young. I want your experience to help me. I want you to help me on my side as someone who understands what this world needs to be saved. I need your help.'' I pleaded with him as honest as I could put it, wanting him greatly.
The dark knight looked at me, almost studying me. There was brief silence before he spoke. ''I will assist you in whatever way you desire me.''
I smiled rather happy as I reached out with my right hand and patted his shoulder. This shocked him with his fully red glowing eyes widened.
''I'm Akumu. And you are?'' I revealed who I was, wishing to know the man who will stand on my side.
''…'' Dark General Knight stared at me silent, not sure what to say. I am aware no previous Dark Lord, not even the one that gave him this life knew his name but I wanted to know. I had to know for he would be my most important comrade. And… I knew of his past and went through hell just as much as I had if not greater.
I watched him, waiting for him to speak and finally, he spoke out. ''… Donahue, but that name is no longer I but a dead man.''
I smiled and nodded, asking of him. ''Then lead me your power, my general.''
Those words, even without a face to show them, brought joyed to the knight who responded with a firm bow. ''I shall, my lord.''
I smiled again as this in a way, my first real friend and my important ally; my commander, my second-in-command, my general.
Of course before we could rule the world, I wanted to do it in a way that the world will demand I become their one supreme lord and ruler.
And so we began the creation of Equalord Enterprise by literally killing every Yakuza of that era between Domino and Tokyo. Using their dirty, bloody money to make my company and getting new clothes to show the new me, I did what no other would have; used my money to help others by stopping foolish conflicts to helping the poor to solving other problems even the UN are pathetic to solve. Of course I still needed to earn money so I did stuff: Organize assassinations, rob banks and accounts from those who did have money, trafficking… more disturbing acts but I had one rule: No one innocent will die. That was my rule and it remained so… with one exception.
''From there my general and I build an empire using a company I have stolen from those Yakuzas and soon my eyes seek out the destruction of the newly born Dragon Knight… before he took that away.''
As a Dark Lord, I had a mission to fulfill: Kill the Dragon Knight. I was compiled to do so and so I did. Why? Because the world was cruel and if there was this ''hero'' not understanding what is suffering, why should he be happy? Also I had no choice but that slowly became a desire to hate and kill him… Takao Mutou. That man and his damn philosophies… I knew he was someone who must die if my plans to conquer the Earth would come true.
So we clashed, over and over and over… I had to meet my… ''brother'' and my real brother, other pests I hated like Orochimaru, that Salem (the woman is more vicious than me I will admit)… Aizen… and many-MANY people I disliked… but above all was Takao… and that purple lizard with the fedora.
The last thing I saw as I was being sealed away was the saddened expression of Takao and me vowing I will kill him, his wife, his family… and his first born son. I vow the legacy of the Dragon Knight will end; I let out a screaming roar promising I would end it all! I WILL END THE DRAGON KNIGHT! I WILL!
''And then… well… my story was temporary sealed away, until now.''
The last thing I saw was darkness… and the last thing I remembered was seeing those damn purple eyes… the eyes of Takao's son, Yugi, once more standing against me. A child who doesn't understand pain, darkness and understands suffering doesn't deserve to stand in my way. I would- no, I will kill him. I will end him and the last of the Dragon Knights, once and for all. After all… I am the Dark Lord and no one else deserved this power but only me! ONLY I!
End of Flashback…
Dark General Knight's eyes saddened after hearing that story of his lord, again… especially the last part. It was on him; his mistake to let his lord fight that was a trap for him. He failed him, but that mistake made him more than confident to not let the past repeat itself.
Akumu lets out a calm sigh of relief, proclaiming. ''And that, Arkham, is my story.''
Alan has taken plenty of notes and yet his face was stunned, awed by what he was just told. Akumu notices this and asks him. ''Is that what you wanted to hear?''
''Magnificent.'' Alan immediately expresses with such astonishment, not expecting such a story like this before. He even chuckles, giggling on why the Dark Lord had fascinated him compared to the other villains; his tragedy gave birth to a true villain wanting what others don't see.
''I truly now understand you, Akumu Momomiya. I now know what drives you, why you chose to become a monster, a devil! Incredible!'' Alan praises the Dark Lord, getting up from his chair and laughs softly. To think humanity would treat one of their own so unfairly when all he wanted was to help, to be a good human being. Instead they created a monster who now sees what must be done. It was so otherworldly and yet it was perfect. Fate truly is cruel!
''You chose life rather than to die like a fool, to twist the fabric of destiny and Fate with your new powers! That is majestic! Overwhelming!'' Alan further expresses so amazed by the tale he had wanted to know. He breathes heavily, resting back on his chair still smiling.
Akumu smirks, happy to hear that as his right hand became his demonic dragon claw.
''Lovely last words, Reaper.'' The Dark Lord expresses as the next part will be a rather vicious death. However, Alan wags his finger as he explicates. ''None at all. After all, I still have my trump card but first I require your promise that you will forgive my past actions and make me your third-in-command.''
Dark General Knight scoffs at that while Akumu puts down his arm, willing to listen.
''… You have my word, but why third?'' Akumu asks with a burrowed up eyebrow, really not getting the whole third-in-command part. Alan chuckles gazing at the dark knight and expresses a sly fox smile. ''I wouldn't be able to handle his shoes and he would likely kill me if I took his place.''
Dark General Knight groans deeply as his eyes glow a furious bright red. Akumu snickers, agreeing with the psychologist on that.
''Smart. So what is your trump card?'' The Dark Lord asks, wanting to know what his apology gift is. He doubts it is money or anything of such material. It had to be something worth his wild. Otherwise… Arkham will die by his hands.
Alan looks at the Dark Lord as he performs a steeple hand gesture. He slowly cracks a smile, revealing to the Dark Lord slowly. ''… Evangeline A.K. McDowell, does that ring a bell?''
Akumu slowly widens his eyes. How? How?
''How the hell do you know her name! My lord never mentioned her!'' Dark General Knight demands furious that this man learned who her name was. Alan snickers as he explains. ''Hehe. I knew you would hide that fact from me so I simply used Haou's powers to sneak into your mind for that BRIEF moment.''
Akumu glares not amused that like any psychologist, he went inside his mind without trying.
Alan chuckles as he further states. ''And funny thing I did, I am fully aware of Dark Evangel; a mage who is a vampire with such power, fear and reputation. Just the very mention of her name leaves the chills of death into weak souls.''
He hums, so astonished that Akumu had met her and lived to tell the tale. This was a fairytale, no doubt about it.
''To think your life connected to her even before you became the Dark Lord. Almost like-'' Alan begins preaching on about until Akumu calls him off firmly. ''What's your damn point?''
Alan looks at him and tells him. ''I had kept my eye on her, wishing to one day meet her and it seems fate thinks so too.''
''Oh and how do you plan to meet her?'' Akumu taunts the psychologist villain not buying that he can meet her. He's… tried after he gained the powers of Dark Leader Dragon, telling him. ''I've tried but there's a protective magic barrier. For a normal human, it's not a problem but for someone like me, I will be immediately detected by those mages. I can easily get rid of them but then more would appear and eventually I would have to deal with those even I might not handle.''
He was thinking of Jack Rakan (that man alone would become a troublesome foe)… or Nagi Springfield. Akumu had… well one of the past incarnations of the Dark Lord, engaged the man and got careless. He didn't die but the blow was severe, the whole reason why he ended up killed by him.
''Precisely why I made this.'' Alan suddenly announces reaching into his pocket and pulls out a folded up map that unfolds to show it to be quite large. Akumu looks down at it and startles; this was the map of Mahora City.
''This is a map with weak spots, holes where one can walk into the forest of Mahora City. And one of such holes is where she will likely be. I haven't tried it myself but I'm sure my dear Dark Lord would be able to handle it.'' Akumu reveals pointing at the weak spots of the forest's protection barrier and then to the red x-shaped mark being her location.
Akumu studies the map rather astonished and focused looking through it.
''How are you sure this isn't a trap to get rid of my lord?'' Dark General Knight questions him not believing this map to be true. Alan eyes him and answers honestly. ''Why should I? I would not win anything. Besides…''
Alan looks at Akumu and adds even more honesty. ''I am not suited to be a leader or the main villain. I prefer my current position.''
He was not kidding. As Arkham, Alan does not see himself as the one man show. For him to act such a pose would be how Haou would handle it and look how well that turned out for him. No, he was a man who wished to be an advisor for those with greater potential than himself. That is his decision.
''… Very well.'' Akumu declares believing him. This shocks the dark knight as he protests unease. ''My lord, are you sure?''
Akumu nodded. He did not care if this was a trap or would not work… if there was a chance to see her again… he would do it. Just recalling Shadow Knight's words that he does not care about anyone; he must prove him wrong. He does care for others and he will show him wrong!
''I wish to see her.'' He tells his general, willing to take the risk. Dark General Knight hums crossing his arms, still not completely certain… but he wants his lord happy. He was happy once… before he lost it all. He can't find love again. He is just a ghost in a shell, literally. But his lord, it is not too late for him. He wants to see him happy and will not fail him.
The dark knight faces his master and bows before him, asking of him. ''Then allow me to come as well. It is my duty to protect you, my lord.''
Akumu smiles, padding his general's shoulder thanking his loyalty for him. ''I know I can always count on you, my general.''
Dark General Knight nods standing up. Akumu nods back as he takes the map. Alan hums eyeing the two rather fond ''friendship''. He chuckles at this; him and Yugi… they're oddly- no, best not think about it.
''Then I wish you both the best of luck.'' Alan tells them smiling but the dark knight protests firmly. ''Luck is beneath us.''
Alan eyes him and smirks, correcting him with a snarky response. ''Referring to how you will have her join us and the Dark Lord's love, of course.''
Dark General Knight grunts angrily, not going to oppose that idea.
Akumu smiles eyeing the two as he adjusts his tie and prepares to leave… until a clap is heard. The three turn to see emerging out from the shadows is Yami Bakura, smirking as he continues clapping. His black trench coat flaps on his legs as the evil being that was Zorc Necrophades grins evilly.
''To think one of the Dark Lord's hosts would have such a fascinating backstory.'' Yami Bakura expresses with the same grin. Akumu looks at him, not at all surprised he was eavesdropping. In fact he smirks at this taunting the dark god. ''Brings back old memories huh, Temple Thief Bakura?''
Yami Bakura scowls, his eyes glow an eerie red glow. Akumu smirks once more, further taunting him. ''You can tell the rest, I have no concerns if they know the truth or not.''
Scoffing, Yami Bakura didn't care about telling the mortals about what he learned. In fact, he came to speak to him.
''If you're leaving, then I wish to have my chance.'' He tells the Dark Lord firmly. Akumu raises an eyebrow not following until he remembered way back in Battle City V3. He soon speaks up recalling it. ''Oh you mean the request?''
Yami Bakura nods telling him as he squeezes his right hand forward. ''I simply wish to end, eliminate and kill Atem and Yugi.''
Akumu scoffs a bit, proclaiming. ''It's ironic. I understand the Pharaoh but Yugi. Did that boy scarred you that badly?''
Yami Bakura doesn't respond to that, hating that boy for ruining everything. He had Atem, he had the world… but he and his damn friends ruined everything. He will not forgive that wrenched mortal.
''You know the feeling.'' Yami Bakura adds with a smirk. Akumu scowls, fully aware of each of his defeats by Yugi… but unlike him, these are all battles, not the war.
Silent for a moment, Akumu finally answers with a slight grin. ''… Very well. I will give you the chance you've wanted, your revenge.''
Yami Bakura grins, hoping he saw reason. Dark General Knight eyes his lord certain he didn't do this from the kindness of his heart.
''Use my army as you wish and my allies. In fact, Arkham, you will assist Zorc.'' Akumu suggests staring at Alan, wanting to see how his new commander will deal with this. Alan smirks gladly, bowing, accepting the chance. ''I gladly accept.''
''Just don't screw up.'' Dark General Knight tells him off firmly. Alan smirks gladly not planning to. Akumu eyes Yami Bakura and says the same. ''Same goes for you.''
''Oh I won't and when you return, you'll remember why I am the God of Darkness.'' Yami Bakura vows with a sinister grin, planning to win where the Dark Lord and many others failed. Akumu cracks a small laugh, too much of a good mood to correct him.
Akumu turns his back and walks. Dark General Knight joins him and asks between them. ''Are you sure my lord?''
''Let him have his fun.'' Akumu expresses with a small smirk.
''And if he success?'' The dark knight asks worry on the thought that Zorc might win.
For once, his hate towards Yugi, towards the Dragon Knight really feels meaningless. Besides, he already has a plan for the boy to make him suffer. Regardless, there is only one person in his mind.
''… I don't care. I wish to see her.'' Akumu declares making up his mind. He raises his hand forward and manifests a dark portal for the two. With the map at hand, he can open on the other side that has those holes. There… he can finally see her after so long.
''Best wishes.'' Alan bids the two his farewell. The duo prepares to walk inside the portal… until.
''BOSS!'' An annoying energetic, Australian voice calls out. Akumu stops as he and Dark General Knight turn to see the masked mercenary, the infamous Meister, standing in front of them with a salute. ''I'm back!''
''… Cool.'' Akumu just utters out. Dark General Knight scoffs, surprised that the wounds he took recovered from the beat down that Team Dragon Knight and the Sailor Guardians gave him when he was under the control of Black Moon.
Akumu turns to Alan and asks him as his ''third-in-command''. ''You got this right Arkham?''
''… I suppose?'' Alan just mutters, staring so puzzled by this strange individual. He must have heard from a man who uses a boomerang and can't shoot correctly.
The Dark Lord looks back at the Meister and tells him with a grin. ''Have fun Meister.''
''Of course!'' The Meister expresses excitedly. Akumu eyes Yami Bakura who waves goodbye while smirking. He smirks back as he and Dark General Knight walk inside the portal, vanishing in an instant along with the portal.
The Meister is left so confused about what was even going on as he looks at the weirdo with the sweater.
''And you are bloke?'' He asks, curious, never seeing him before. Alan places his right hand over his chin, observing this Australian nutcase, just responding. ''Curious…''
The Meister leans his head to the left not following. Yami Bakura hears enough crossing arms and tells the two firmly. ''Gather those mortals.''
Alan turns smiling as he will though he is very curious. ''As you wish though what is your plan?''
Yami Bakura cracks a smirk as his shadow suddenly morphs into the sinister silhouette of Zorc Necrophades.
''Time to commence a new game of Darkness! My Dark Conquest RPG! Kukukuku!'' Yami Bakura declares laughing menacingly, staring down at the city and world that will be swallowed by his darkness.
Will Yugi and Team Dragon Knight be prepared for the new twisted game the evil spirit demon has for them?
To be continued…
(ENDING 3: Genkai Battle by Jam Project from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX)
Thank you for another great episode. I thank those who are helping me get this story notice and enjoy it. For those who love it, please review my story and give me your opinions or thoughts to it.
Next Time…
It was a peaceful day for all of Team Dragon Knight especially since the group prepares a party for Ichigo, fully recovered. Yugi went to get a few things for the party and comes across someone rather different. However, Yami Bakura plots now with the Dark Lord gone to commence a new game to finally defeat Atem and Yugi. Will our heroes be ready for this?
Ryan: I've never been in a party other than the small cake for my birthday.
Ichigo: Ah! I feel for you Ryan-kun!
Alicia: Well today we both get to experience a bit of that feeling with the others. After all this party is not just for Ichigo.
Judai grins in agreement: You betcha! I can't wait to ask Yugi-san so we could duel to give Ichigo a show!
Ichigo sweat drops: I'll just be happy seeing all of you is all and your smiles Nya.
Ryan: And Yugi?
Alicia: He's picking something up for me. He won't take long.
Ryan: Then let's do our best to not break a leg!
Alicia sweat drops: I kinda doubt it but yea!
Ichigo giggles: Next time in Yu-Gi-Oh! Dragon Knight Reborn: The Nightmarish Dark Conquest RPG!
Ruby: Oh can I say it!
Ichigo nods smiling.
Ruby grins: Then please remember to read, enjoy and review! See you all next time!
Author's Note: I was really proud that the whole backstory for Akumu Momomiya was able to be done in one chapter. I had a fear I would have needed to do a 3 part chapters of this but instead I did it all by doing a mix of Flashback and POV (Point of View) in junction of quick summarization of the events. I am proud of this and happy for alexwu704 for Arkham's involvement, this actually help me fit in on how Akumu reveals his crappy past and how he became the Dark Lord as well as his point of views towards the world and most of all: Fate. Oh Fate… you are the reason for DKR so expect that to be more of a thing. Thank Jojo and the Gravity of Fate… it'll work great!
Oh yea the Meister is back… yea?
Also Yami Bakura is taking control so this arc will be spicier! But that won't be the other spice.
Join me next time on the 23th for the next chapter!
I also want to inform my readers that the one-shot I have this Christmas is nearly ready. The first chapter will be uploaded on the 21ish, the second will be on the 24th and the last part the 25th. Stay tune to then!
