Hello to all! This is Episode 43 of the new arc of Volume 5: The Dark Conquest!
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 5: Episode 43: The Dragon and the Nightwalker! The Immortal Mage, Dark Evangel!
In the previous episode of DKR:
The counterattack to restore Konoha continued as Alicia was able to overpowered Danny's possession with her Valkyria powers, freeing both of the ghost bind and had extra help from Ryan and Mew Erika to fight the ghosts and fire the signal to alert the attack. With the Formation Ino-Shika-Cho, every ghost possessing every person in Konoha was freed as Yugi and the others did their part to free the rest.
With no more ghost army, Vlad revealed himself with Walker and the Fright Knight left but Danny was surprised, having called his own team and even Frostbite to assist them. Our heroes were able to beat Walker and the Fright Knight as Wizard and Naruto fought Vlad. Having mocked Naruto for being a monster, Vlad almost had the shinobi to let his anger consume him but Hinata snapped him out not agreeing he is a monster. With his sense of being restored, Naruto with everyone else used their combined effort which included Jiraiya, defeated and bested Vlad with teamwork.
Konoha was soon restored back to normal however time still clocks down. Will Team Dragon Knight be able to restore the remaining two worlds before time runs out?
And now the conclusion... last left off in the previous episode:
Yugi checks his watch, 5 minutes passing since Konoha was saved. He eyes Kaiba already waiting for their pickup. Everyone on Team Dragon Knight is recovering while the rest of Konoha tries to get back to normal after that ghost invasion. Just another day.
Naruto wanted to treat everyone with ramen but the Ramen Guy was resting after an accident with Alicia who blamed it on Danny. Instead he got everyone dumplings and rice balls… Haruto instead prefers his plain sugar donut though Danny slides a dumpling in his hand.
''Hehe, thank you everyone!'' Naruto expresses happiness for his friends for helping save his home. Yugi nods, giving him a grin, adding. ''Always Naruto-kun!''
Judai then adds with a thumb up and wink. ''You can always count on us!''
Naruto chuckles in agreement. Jiraiya watches them smiling as Tsunade joins him, drinking up as much beer as she could stuff after being possessed and slowing down on her paperwork.
''Naruto has made interesting friends.'' Jiraiya says smiling. Tsunade nods in agreement, adding with a small smile. ''He did learn that from the people around him.''
She eyes her fellow teammate and asks him, curious since Jiraiya came back from the village just as this whole mess started. ''You didn't return just to check up on him and the village didn't you?''
Jiraiya eyes him and smirks, not surprised she can see through him. He nods firmly informing her. ''I found a lead on the Akatsuki's leader.''
Tsunade blinks, actually surprised. If they learn who learns the Akatsuki, they might stop their plans.
''I see…'' She responds but is concerned. This could be a trap and it could cost Jiraiya. The Sannin sees her face and laughs it off telling her. ''Relax, I'm just going to learn who or what this informative has to tell me and get back to you, easy peasy!''
He then smiles adding. ''Besides I came back to see you too.''
Tsunade scoffs smirking before she tells him cocky. ''Don't come back late.''
Jiraiya nods promisingly as he gets up. He starts to walk but Naruto calls out to him, noticing him leaving. ''Ero-Sennin!''
Jiraiya turns and tells his knuckle-headed student. ''Just gotta do a small errand.''
Jiraiya then smiles, giving Naruto a thumbs up, promising. ''I'll be back later to train you again. You better be ready for then!''
''And we'll eat popsicles again too?!'' Naruto asks with Jiraiya laughing, also promising. ''Of course!''
Naruto grins happily, looking forward to it. Jiraiya smirks as he makes a hand sign and puffs, becoming smoke. Alicia sweat drops finding that guy like he's Naruto but more mature but more perverted how he was staring at her chest and Yang's… who was holding back on her anger.
''For a pervert, he's pretty kind.'' Alicia does admit with Ryan adding. ''Gallant even.''
Naruto nods, smiling about that. He eyes Yugi, having asked him if he wants to come along and he accepts.
''So where to now?'' Naruto asks, wanting to beat that Zorc guy for all he's done. Yugi smiles as he tells everyone. ''Karakura Town. No doubt Kurosaki-kun might be having trouble over there.''
''First we gotta wait till Kaiba requests a new helicopter.'' Ed states the obvious with Ruby sighing. Jonouchi, chewing on a rice ball, eyes Haruto waiting with them rather than rushing out like he did the other times.
''You're waiting for us now, magic man?'' Jonouchi questions him as Haruto corrects him by stuffing his mouth with a plain sugar donut while holding a stick of dumplings. ''We might get there faster right?''
''Yup!'' Yugi replies happily. But, he has been worried about Kurosaki. He's been trying to sense out his aura and it's been… silent. Maybe it's the dark fields of the Dark Conquest RPG but this is worrying him.
An hour before Yugi and the others commenced their plan to save Konoha, Akumu and Dark General Knight were still walking in the Mahora Forest as if it felt forever. Arkham had to find a weak spot so far away from their destination and the two were cautious to follow the map directly or else they might trigger the alarm. Thankfully, their journey is about to end.
After what feels like an eternity, the two arrive at their destination.
"We're here my lord.'' Dark General Knight proclaims staring upon a two-story wooden cottage, kept hidden even among the academy near the forest. The dark knight did find this rather anticlimax though, expecting a lair or a mansion fitting for a dark powerful mage and not this.
''I was not expecting a cottage though.'' He states his feelings to his lord until he realizes Akumu is distracted. He then asks him if he is concerned. ''My lord?''
Akumu didn't answer, having come this far and thinking for so long since the start of his journey. Dark General Knight hums as he soon insists to his lord about his hesitation. ''If you're afraid my lord, we can try this another-''
''No, my general.'' Akumu immediately protests, looking at the door. He's waited far too long to see her, why should he run away from his own desire. He learned, during his time as Dark Lord, one must TAKE what one desires and what desires right now is in there.
Breathing, Akumu proclaims confidence. ''It's now or never.''
The dark knight looks at his lord, feeling a sense of pride from him. That is why he respects him so much.
''Understood.'' He replies to his lord's wishes. Akumu nods as he walks over the door. He reaches out and hesitates. Akumu looks at the knob with such a look, not going to let his past hunt him. He will overcome them and find his future.
''You can do it, my lord!'' The dark general cheers from behind. Akumu smirks as he grabs the knob and-
''My door is opened, idiot!'' Akumu and Dark General Knight startle by the yelling voice of a girl. Recognizing her voice, Akumu opens up the door. He walks in as did the dark general. They walk inside the cottage, rather simple. They walk into the living room to see a fireplace and a collection of books. Among them, someone was sitting on a soft, large classic chair reading a book.
Akumu looks at her and knows who it was. It was her, the same long blonde haired 10 year old girl wearing a black sleeveless dress-like outfit with black boots and wrist bands.
Dark General Knight stares at her, sensing she was not human in the slightest.
''Is this really her?'' He asks his lord but before Akumu could answer, the girl reading the book utters while she tries reading her book. ''Hush! Reading.''
The two stare at her as she reaches for a book marker and slides it on a page she finishes reading. She closes the door shut, staring at the two her cold blue eyes, smiling.
''Well-well-well. This is new.'' She expresses happily staring at the pair. She puts the book on her table and adjusts herself, her hands pondering.
''So which one is the strong bounty hunter and which one is the lackey?'' She questions the two, looking at them. Obviously the one with the business suit is most likely a lackey as she moves to the armored knight and asks taunting. ''Could it be you?''
Dark General Knight blinks awkwardly while Akumu raises an eyebrow and asks puzzled. ''You don't remember me?''
The little girl looks at her puzzled, questioning her. ''We've met already?''
Akumu nods with the young girl leaping off from her chair and walks over him. She eyes him, observing him and she hums remembering. ''Hmm… how bizarre, I don't remember you.''
''Well I was…'' Akumu tries uttering out, hesitating to remind her and gulps, saying. ''The one who didn't pee after you killed those bounty hunters.''
The girl hums thinking and it then hits her, startling. It was 20 years ago or so, yes, yes. She recalled that delivery boy. So this man is- wow, she smirks how fast time flies by. She hums observing him better, really impressed by his formal appearance and his goatee beard.
''I see life has treated you well… whatever your name is.'' She says praising him. Akumu smirks at that and answers her. ''It's Akumu. And me and my general didn't came here to capture you but I wanted to meet you again, Evangeline.''
The little girl narrows her eyes, amazed he remembered her name after so many years.
''So you do remember me huh?'' The little girl, Evangeline, questions impress. Akumu simply shakes his head as he further adds firmly. ''I don't just remember you, I know everything you: The girl who suddenly became a vampire.''
Evangeline hums, now thinking better, he looks around his 30-40s at best but he should be older? Still she is impressed he's aware exactly what she is back then.
''Oh… how intriguing.'' She expresses, sounding a bit serious. She hums further adding. ''I respect your intelligence and have come this far to meet me again. Now convince me why I shouldn't kill you where you stand. You and your-''
Evangeline cuts herself off gazing at the dark knight and just notices something, questioning him. ''You're a spirit, aren't you?''
Dark General Knight didn't answer, his red eyes glowing down at her. He then reaches to his helmet and pulls it out, revealing nothing as his red eyes were still glowing through the full face helmet. Evangeline grins at this, having heard of him now.
''So interesting! I think I heard of this one, a dark knight of destruction who follows the so-called Dark Lord.'' Evangeline recalls the past of this once former knight, killed by others for his connection with the legendary Black Knight and through his death, resurrected as a darker knight who can never die: One who serves the legendary Dark Lord of Darkness, Dark Leader Dragon.
Dark General Knight places his helmet over his head again, adjusting it as he responds impressed by her knowledge. ''Exactly! My lord and I have come to recruit you.''
Evangeline eyes the two, curious about this Dark Lord. He's supposed to be a monster and yet she's only looking at this eternal black knight and-
Immediately she cracks a smirk. Unbelievable. This business suit man who she met long ago is the Dark Lord? The destroyer?
''AAAHAHAHAHA!'' The little blonde girl starts laughing, giggling at such an idea. Dark General Knight groans really angry while Akumu remains calm.
Calming down, Evangeline still giggles expressing. ''Heh. That's really funny.''
She breathes, fully calmed down, as she now becomes firm and asks the two nicely. ''I've been really patient with you two so I'll make it easier: Walk out and I don't kill you.''
Evangeline soon walks over her chair and hops on it, reaching for her book to resume reading.
Akumu sighs, figuring it wouldn't be easy. Oh well.
''I want your help, Evangeline.'' Akumu asks her again, wanting not just her power but her as well. ''Not just that, I want you.''
Evangeline staggers, putting down the book on her lap with a look of disgust. He wants her, specifically her?!
Akumu explains himself smiling, acting charming. ''I want your strength, your mind, your power and most of all you.''
Evangeline still has a face of revulsion, speaking in protest. ''You really are an idiot. Did you do your homework about me?''
Akumu did as he swirls his hidden right hand behind his back, glowing in dark energy.
''I'm not leaving until-'' Akumu begins to say as Evangeline ignores him. She looks through her window and blinks that it has gotten dark. It was night already? Regardless, the little immortal girl forms a grin, so happy for the perfect timing.
Placing her book on the table again, Evangeline soon says with a smug smirk on her face. ''You had to come here when nightfall comes, naïve.''
Akumu raises an eyebrow as Evangeline quickly raises her left hand and fires a dark energy arrow through the palm of her hand, striking Akumu's chest. It slams him into the wall and falls backwards into it.
Dark General Knight startles in shock. Did midnight really arrive that soon?
''Now as for you…'' Curling her lips into a smile, Evangeline begins to say chanting. ''Lic Lac La Lac Lilac!''
Suddenly swirls of dark magical energy wraps around her, literally lifting her off her feet. Dark General Knight watches calmly, sensing such destructive, evil magic coming out of her.
Evangeline giggles, her blue eyes shining a red gaze before she responds. ''I haven't had a good fight in a long time. So dark armored spirit, shall we clash?''
Dark General Knight scoffs at her challenge and simply responds, his arms crossed. ''I am not one to attack girls unless I have to however I will not fight you, my Lord will.''
''Oh? You mean the dead-'' Evangeline begins to say smirking; looking towards the wall and slowly widens her eyes. She watches as Akumu walks out of the wall with a piercing arrow attack that struck him wasn't even in his body and his wound completely healed.
Brushing off the dirt off his clothing, Akumu expresses adjusting his suit. ''Well that hurt.''
Evangeline glares calmly before speaking up with an evil smirk. ''Oh? Aren't you stubborn?''
Akumu smirks, eyeing his general who bows, stepping back to let his lord to fight her.
''My past versions never fought the great Dark Evangel.'' Akumu begins to express with a grin. ''It's an honor.''
Evangeline smirks, sulking, not at all honorable to face this so-called human, especially one who thinks she'll let him even touch her.
''Oh then will you hit a little girl like-'' She starts taunting him if he's capable of hitting a 10 year old body girl and she immediately gets her answer as she's suddenly grabbed by the head by Akumu appearing next to her and throws her into the wall. The wall cracks open and Evangeline is launched into a tree trunk, leaving a deep dent.
Walking out of the hole while humming, Akumu responds to her taunt. ''Now why should I hold back against an immortal vampire?''
Evangeline looks up at him angrily, lifting herself out of the tree.
''Now…'' Akumu starts to proclaim, using the words of a man, almost near a god who taunted a past Dark Lord with what true pride is. ''Shall we dance?''
Evangeline smirks reaching behind her and throws strange potion bottles, exploding which releases flashes of blinding light. Akumu gasps in agony, blinded as she uses this chance to pull out another bottle, containing a liquid form of catalyst. Evangeline drinks it up, gulping. Now she can use multiple spells to fight this off putting man.
The light vanishes as Akumu rubs his eyes and immediately finds himself kicked across the face by Evangeline, having moved at him with inhuman speed. The kick thrusts him back into the hole but he stops himself, grinding his shoes onto the ground to stop himself. Smirking as he spits out some blood from his mouth, Akumu comes at her as Evangeline did too.
Dark General Knight comes out from the hole, watching as the two were moving with unseen speed as they were moving away from the cottage. Evangeline was trying to kick him with much faster and hard strikes but Akumu just evades or catches the leg before tossing her into a tree that she bounces off to resume fighting.
''He can keep up with me?'' Evangeline questions in shock that he could keep with her. And this pissed her off causing her to distance herself from him. Akumu smirks, simply hand taunting her which pisses her off more.
''You're getting on my nerves!'' She calls him out already annoyed by him. Akumu chuckles as he replies. ''Really? I thought you faced worst opponent than a man wearing a business suit, Eva-chan.''
That got to her, her eyes shaken with anger. There has been only one man who can call her that… and that man she wants to kill more than anyone after breaking her heart, the Thousand Masters.
''… What the hell did you just call me?'' She immediately asks him in such a cold tone that Akumu just grins. That made Evangeline snap as she started chanting in Latin. ''Septendecim spiritus glaciales, coeuntes inimicum concidant. SAGITTA MAGICA, SERIES GLACIALIS!''
Waving her right arm forward, she creates 17 ice magical arrows and fires them off right at Akumu. The older man smirks as he simply stands his ground as the arrows seemingly hit him but he actually dodged them all with the greatest of ease without moving from his spot.
''Oh you have to try better-'' He begins to say cocky until he feels off. Akumu soon staggers realizing the bottom half of his body has been frozen up. Evangeline grins as she raises her left arm now, proclaiming. ''This is for calling me that name.''
She breathes and starts chanting once more in Latin. ''Undetriginta spiritus obscuri. SAGITTA MAGICA, SERIES OBSCURI!''
She unleashes 29 arrow projectiles of dark energy upon the partly frozen Akumu, consuming and blasting him a dark explosion.
Evangeline giggles evilly, calling him off coldly. ''For a man who has a crush on a loli, I really do petty you.''
"FIRST OF ALL!'' She startles as the smoke of the explosion blows away to reveal Akumu completely unscratched, even though his suit isn't damaged or torn. Akumu adjusts his clothes, saying. ''You're over 700 years old from what I check.''
He coughs as he then adds. ''And two I don't give a crap if you're younger than me, we both can't die.''
''… Wanna bet?'' Evangeline, in a dark tone, declares before she starts chanting with her right arm over her head. ''Gelida halitus, immitte! NIVIS CASUS!''
She waves his right arm downward and suddenly a shine glows underneath Akumu. Soon he's instantaneously consumed by a large-volume avalanche of snow as an explosion. Dark General Knight braces himself while Evangeline smirks with her arms crossed, staring at the frozen ice she made.
''Immortal maybe but futile nonetheless against being frozen alive.'' Evangeline proclaims proudly. Dark General Knight stares silent, unworried as he then finally says. ''Indeed but against my lord, it won't matter.''
Evangeline turns eyeing the knight and smirks, calling him off. ''Oh really? How so?''
''RRRRAAAAWWRRRRRR!'' Evangeline staggers by the powerful roar as the ice quakes and shatters instantly before burning by black flames. She widens her eyes to see the black scaled humanoid dragon that Akumu transformed into, his red eyes and yellow dragon pupils.
''Oh that's… new.'' Evangeline mutters out not expecting that.
Breathing as his dragon tail smacks the ground and his unique upside-down wings flap, the black dragon breathes from his sharp dragon mouth and snorts heavily.
''My apologies Eva-chan…'' The Dark Lord starts speaking, looking at her and slowly grins menacingly. ''But I have no reason holding back the power of fiery Darkness, the terror of Dark Leader Dragon!''
Evangeline stares at him, gulping slightly but glares not going to lose to him.
Now the real battle begins. Who will win?
Commercial Break:
Evangeline giggles: To think I would have a challenge after so many years. Please don't disappoint, I want to enjoy every second.
Dark Leader Dragon: Oh trust me Eva, I intend to make you taste the power of a Dark Lord!
Dark General Knight watches calmly, seeing his lord fully transformed staring down at the vampire mage.
Evangeline looks at the black dragon, having been told during her time before her curse about the myth of the black scared dragon that seeks out destruction.
"A black scaled humanoid dragon with magic and darkness that burn hotter than a star or magma, a monster who is the son of the First Darkness, King Darkness.'' Evangeline mutters out, recalling the tale of the Dark Lord she learned long ago. ''The Dark Lord of Destruction, Dark Leader Dragon. So that's you huh?''
To the dark mage, Evangeline can't help but smirk as she's facing off against such a powerful being… well from what she heard most of the time.
Dark Leader Dragon breathes eyeing her, his dragon eyes gazing monstrous. No normal being would be able to look back at such a dreadful monster, but to Evangeline, she finds some appeal to such a creature. She's seen different demons and monsters and none have the appeal that this humanoid, dragon man has for it. His dragon jaw, his horns, his wings, his tail, his claw, his eyes; they were majestic in a way.
She soon asks the man that's still in this lovely beast. "I have heard that there has been more than one Dark Leader Dragon. A reincarnation?''
The Dark Lord nods firmly, responding. ''More like the essence, the very power of the Dark Lord seeks out a new host to contain its devilish, hellish power. A possession of sorts except the new host becomes the new Dark Lord.''
He eyes his claws, recalling the day he became this monster and was most happy. ''It only seeks out those with dark souls, absorbing those souls into the very darkness of the first Dark Lord to make its power grow, to surpass the Dragon Knight.''
Akumu soon chuckles and lets out a monstrous, dragon roar-like laugh as he declares passionate. ''I'm just one of the many hundreds that became Dark Leader Dragon, but I'm the strongest incarnation for my hate, my rage, my darkness; overpowers all others!''
Evangeline hums, rather interesting in a way.
''Interesting but we'll see about that.'' She says still planning to kill him though she is curious, asking him. ''So I guess you're not the one who fought the Thousand Masters?''
The Dark Lord scoffs at that and answers her. ''No, that was the previous Dark Lord confident in his power to beat Nagi Springfield. Didn't turn out so well for him.''
He then recalls that fight with the past Dark Lord due to his connection, seeing how that previous dragon nearly died by the man known as the Thousand Masters. That Dark Lord escaped with his life… before he was killed by… that abomination.
''Though only partly, Dark Lords can only be killed by a Dragon Knight… or another who is a child of the First Darkness.'' Dark Leader Dragon then reveals firmly to Evangeline's amazement. ''Oh fascinating!''
She finds this all astonishing but Evangeline had better stuff to do as she proclaims firmly. ''I doubt it matters up against me, lizard.''
The Dark Lord growls and soon comes charging, shouting. ''Don't underestimate us dragons!''
Evangeline smirks, swinging her hands forward, unleashing yellow thread-like strings at him. They wrap around him instantly but the Dark Lord instantly burns through the threads with the black flamed Black Flame Inferno. He comes swinging his claw but Evangeline leaps away and flies over the sky.
''I have heard you are a Puppet Master too.'' The black dragon says smirking. Evangeline smirks, responding by summoning her menacingly marionette puppets with razor blades or hidden guns.
''But mere dolls cannot best me!'' The Dark Lord roars taking flight and instantly rips through the dolls with his claws. Evangeline panics distancing herself as one of the puppets glows and explodes. The Dark Lord tanks it but this was a distraction as Evangeline fires 34 ice magic arrows. He senses and dodges one of them as he flies out of the smoke as the arrows seek after him. He roars evading the arrows, spinning around them or simply being too fast for them.
Once more, this was a distraction as Evangeline chants in Latin. ''Veniant spiritus glaciales! Extendantur aeri tundram et glaciem, loci noctis albae! CRYSTALLITATIO TELLUSTRIS!''
The ground quakes and immediately shoots out pillars of ice coming out of the ground at the Dark Lord that nearly hits him if he doesn't dodge it. He did touch it as his claw freezes up instantly. More pillars come out trying to hit him but the dragon roars, forming Black Flame Armor and swings his fiery tail, destroying the magical arrows while the flames thaw off the ice from his claw. He then breathes multiple Dark Fireball Blazes at the pillars, destroying them.
The Dark Lord turns gazing as Evangeline shouts, aiming with her right arm. ''NIVIS CASUS!''
''BLACK FLAME INFERNO!'' The Dark Lord roars, breathing his intense black flames against Evangeline's snow ice magic blast. The two attacks clash and explode in steam.
''You'll have to try harder than-'' Dark Leader Dragon taunts her smirking until Evangeline shouts, swinging her left arm while speaking in Greek language. ''Kenotētos astrapsatō de temetō! DIOS TUKOS!''
Her arm charges electricity before she swings in a downward-sweeping motion and hits him with a massive electrical attack. Smoke covers the attack that hit her opponent as she smirks taunting him. ''I was just warming up.''
However, flaps of wings blow the smoke away. Evangeline soon widens her eyes as the demonic dragon man has caught the Dios Tukos with his bare right claw, manipulating the bright yellow bolt into darkness.
"My turn. DARK LIGHTNING BLAZER!'' He roars, swinging in his own downward swing and fires a powerful dark lightning blast. Evangeline forms a magical barrier, tanking the attack that nearly shatters her protection.
The Dark Lord laughs of confidence but Evangeline glares, done playing this game. She breathes as she now chants in Latin. ''Veniant spiritus glaciales obscurantes! Cum obscurationi flet tempestas nivalis! NIVIS TEMPESTAS OBSCURANS!''
She unleashes a storm, ice-darkness magic blast that obscures light.
''DARK COMET DESTRUCTION BURST!'' Dark Leader Dragon responds loudly, breathing out a powerful, more intense mouth fire blast taking the form of a massive black fiery comet.
The two attacks of fire-darkness and ice-darkness clash and create an instantly, majestic explosion of swirls of fire and ice with darkness. Dark General Knight watches finding this beautiful in its elegance.
Evangeline breathes softly while the Dark Lord chuckles taunting her. ''Don't tell me the great Dark Evangel is done?''
She scoffs at his assumption and protests, still confident. ''Hardly. When it's a Full Moon, you would be dead but since I don't my cottage destroyed and be defected by unwelcome company, I don't want to take the risk.''
She soon smirks admitting those reasons are weak for holding back her full power. She then says though cocky, waving her back hair. ''Beside, it would be too easy.''
The Dark Lord smirks as he quickly descends. Evangeline raises an eyebrow, descending as the two land in front of her cottage again.
''True. If it was night, you might have.'' Dark Leader Dragon says smirk as his tail points up. ''Look up.''
Evangeline doesn't follow looking up and soon widens her eyes; the dark sky is vanishing and reverting back to sunlight. It was still the afternoon! She couldn't believe it.
''You darkened the sky on just this area?'' Evangeline utters out, feeling her powers suppressed once more by her curse. The Dark Lord smirks as he's consumed in flames and reverts back to Akumu, adjusting his tie.
''It's ironic huh? My powers can manipulate a small portion of the sky to make it look like it was dark even tricking your curse.'' Akumu reveals, praising his ability to even trick a curse meant to block away Evangeline's powers. He smirks as he adds, making her think. ''Imagine my power able to lift the curse off your body and more.''
Evangeline did fall for it, imagining being free from the curse placed by her. She still despises this, locked away like some kind of forgotten doll and more with this body. She's grown to accept it… but she wants more, she really does want more.
''Hahaha…'' Cracking her mouth into small laughs, Evangeline smirks weakly as her powers are once more sealed.
''Okay, this is a first for my opponent to humiliate me in such a way. Kudos, Dark Lord.'' She submits this loss, not expecting her opponent would out smart her or rather give her that one chance to experience the joy of having her powers.
Akumu smiles walking up to her and re-introduces himself to her. ''Akumu, you can call me that. Akumu Momomiya.''
Evangeline looks at him, surprised such a man would still treat her like a living being. She wondered though… what his life was like. Was he similar to her or close enough for them to be kindred spirits. Regardless, he's strong and if he does have the power to block the sun for her… then could he… could he?
''… Do you mean it that you can break my curse, Akumu Momomiya?'' Evangeline finally asks him, wishing to know with firm gaze. Akumu eyes her back calmly, aware the curse she has was made by the Thousand Master so it is probably stronger than any regular curse… but the Dark Lord scoffs at such silly curses.
''For you Eva-chan, I can.'' Akumu begins to say, honest and confident in his voice, as he kneels down to her. Evangeline watches blushing as he reaches and holds her hand, asking of her. ''And all I want is a date and your service.''
Evangeline still blushes, embarrassed that a man is holding her hand so politely but scoffs, questioning him. ''Your service? How?''
Akumu nods as he explains his reasons. ''I want your power to help me change this world and rule it by my side.''
''I was expecting you wanted to use me for world conquest.'' Evangeline responds expecting that he wants world conquest but to want her by his side was the part she didn't expect. ''Why?''
Akumu frowns, releasing his hand off hers, replying sadden as a speech. ''… Humanity is not the fault of your suffering; it's fate. Fate is the very concept that the strong rule over the weak and those who are weak will suffer the most.''
Evangeline looks at him and can't help but agree with him. Fate is the reason why she became a vampire and how humanity treated her as such. Still, it didn't change that humanity still would have hated her.
''We become strong after we became weak in more than one way.'' Evangeline protests, having been weak even when she mysteriously became a vampire and her life became hell. ''Humanity is still cruel regardless of fate.''
Akumu smirks, amazed by her response, admiring someone who sees the world differently but under the same page. Evangeline… oddly felt the same for him. She could tell he hates life for how it treats beings. She can respect that.
''But you want to control them and fate to change the course of the world, right?'' Evangeline then asks him with Akumu responding determinedly. ''Precisely. I want to end the pointless cycle, a world that only winners and losers win. No more war, no more hate, no more pointless crap with us as their rulers.''
Evangeline eyes him more interested by his offer. If she can rule over humanity, they would view her as queen. She smirks at such an idea; heck she could even create new vampires as well and humanity will be forced to worship them.
''So are you in, Evangeline?'' Akumu offers her once more. The blonde haired girl looks at him, silently, before saying with a small smile. ''Break my curse and it's a deal, Akumu.''
Akumu oddly smiles, promising to. Dark General Knight sighs as he feels his heart- oh, right. Now that was new; is he really happy for his lord? He must be! Yes. Without a doubt!
Evangeline nods as she looks back at her cottage and asks him. ''And help me pack too. I have a lot of books I want with me.''
''Deal.'' Akumu replies by snapping his fingers as multiple Dark Dragon Hunters manifest around them and he orders them to get to work packing.
Evangeline hums rather impressed, smirking as she could get used to this. Still, she is curious how he plans to break her curse. Oh well, she has time to learn how. She does know one thing; he really wants her… and well- Evangeline shakes off such ideas, just wanting to be freed.
Back to the present time, another minute passed as the helicopter suddenly arrived to everyone's surprise.
''About time!'' Jonouchi yells out happily that it would come before lecturing Kaiba. ''Took a damn long time Kaiba!''
Seto scoffs at his stupid headed nature with his arms crossed.
''That's because this one…'' He begins to tell them as the group startle to see massive back engines. ''Has stronger rockets.''
Haruto whistles taking another bite from his donut, pretty impressed. Sonic is too, dashing around the helicopter and declares pointing his finger at Kaiba. ''Race you!''
''Um Sonic-kun, this isn't-'' Yugi tries to argue with him until the tricolor head blinks, finding himself inside the co-pilot of the helicopter. Everyone else was too except Shadow who teleported himself in there with Sonic wagging his finger.
''May the best blue blur win!'' Sonic proclaims rushing off.
''Damn blue fur ball!'' Kaiba growls, not going to let that furball beat him. He activates the engines as the helicopter suddenly opens up its hidden wings with an inner turbine engine, lifting the flying machine up. Triggering his engine, Kaiba proclaims coldly. ''Buckle up.''
''… Like-'' Yang asks, not following until the helicopter flies off at mach speed. The group all scream, except Shadow, as Haruto's dumplings literally rip through the stick they were in into Jonouchi's mouth, chewing on them to relax his STRESSING NERVES.
''I SEE WHY KAIBA-KUN DIDN'T START WITH THIS ONE!'' Yugi says telepathically to Atem in echoing screams while Ichigo screams in her head. ''I HATE KAIBA-BAKA SO MUCH NYA!''
The helicopter-plane flies at top speed but down below, Sonic is keeping up. He whistles running backwards while dining on a hotdog. He hums while drinking a soft drink before he dashes with such crazy speed and leaping distances that Sonic lands on outside the plane's pilot view, yawning as he lays on it relaxing. Kaiba growls irritated.
''I'm not surprised.'' Shadow says not at all surprised. Soon the plane enters Karakura Town within moments as Kaiba decreases its engines, slowing down their ride. Nearly everyone dropped hard on the ground from their seats, mainly the ones who didn't buckle in which was nearly everyone.
''Hate… you…'' Jonouchi mutters out at Kaiba as Haruto tries to have a straight face but really badly wants to puke. Shame Naruto did it first, grossing out Weiss and Usagi.
''Okay…'' Ryan mutters swallowing up any vomit he had as he asks on their next villain. ''So we took down that Greed mate and Masters. So we might be facing-''
"OH!" Naruto gasps loudly, getting everyone's attention as he points at Haruto. "I forgot but we have the same name! So cool huh!"
The others just have stern, almost stun faces that he's bringing this up now.
"Oh yea, very obviously." Haruto says sarcastically. Naruto nods, grinning as he thinks it's cool they have the same name. Blake makes a face at Naruto's stupidity.
"Is this even the right time to ask-" Usagi, even thinking this is pointless, reminds Naruto of their mission. "We have to stop the bad guy who's in Kurosaki-chan's home town and-"
Just then multiple missiles fly from the town and hit one of the wings, exploding it. The group panics as the helicopter's lights flashes red as it is spinning out of control.
''You had to ask!'' Ed yells out at the blonde and the so-called smart lawyer. Ryan sweat drops heavily, apologizing. ''I didn't mean break a leg!''
Erika sweat drops panting his back. Kaiba tries to control the helicopter but it is spinning out of his control. He scoffs pressing a switch and suddenly the bottom end of the helicopter opens up, revealing hidden engines that ignited. The plane stops spinning, calming down.
''No crash landing this time-'' Kaiba begins to proclaim with such cold determination until Sonic feels something and leaps off where he was lying just as emerging where he was is Metal Sonic, ripping through the front engines. Yugi startled heavily. ''Metal-kun?!''
The others staggered with Kaiba demanding with irritation. "What the hell is this? Now there's a metal hedgehog, lovely."
Sonic just smirks as Metal Sonic's eyes flash and rams himself at Sonic inside the helicopter, shattering through the pilot window. Yugi dodges and moves out of the way in the last second as the blue hedgehog kicks Metal off him and the two engage in quick combat, dashing around rapidly like blurs within the damaging helicopter. Sonic evades and even slightly pushes anyone from Metal's path as his sharp claws tear through where Sonic would be, tearing through the internals of the helicopter. The flying vehicle starts losing power heavily and more with its front engines failing.
''LAND THE PLANE!'' Ichigo yells out of terror, not wanting to die inside a metal box as Sonic Spin Dashes Metal through the bottom of the helicopter. More of the helicopter's power drops heavily as Kaiba does his best to descend it but it might blow at any moment. Metal Sonic flies back in firing beams which Sonic dodges around them.
''STOP FIGHTING IN MY-'' Seto starts yelling at the hedgehogs until he sees a screen image of warning. He sighs and immediately changes his mind, yelling at Danny. ''Screw it! Go Ghost or whatever! NOW!''
''… I'm going ghost.'' Danny mutters, transforming into his Phantom form and duplicates. In the following seconds, Kaiba's hyper fast helicopter shines and explodes just as Danny and his duplicates carry the group on the metal surface, all of them at first intangible… all except Metal Sonic that was trapped in the plane as it exploded. The helicopter soon crashes into the ground in a fiery metal glory of disaster of flames.
Danny gently drops the group on the ground, landing.
''Safe landing.'' Haruto states chuckling until he eyes Kaiba's cold-death gaze towards him, having lost another of his damn helicopters. Danny drops as his duplicates fly back inside of him. The group watches the destroyed helicopter with Kaiba demanding, even more irritated. ''What the hell was that?!''
''Metal Sonic, Egghead's favorite killing machine base on yours truly.'' Sonic explains with a wink, really happy to see his fake back in action.
Ripping through the destroyed helicopter emerges Metal Sonic, unscratched by the flames as his red eyes glow menacingly. Haruto hums, able to tell this thing is meant to kill and cause despair for sure.
Sonic chuckles clapping for the performance, taunting his killing machine doppelganger. ''Hey Metal! Looking good! New paint job?''
Metal's eyes actually squinted, almost joyfully before he morphs and transforms into Neo Metal Sonic.
''It's been a long time, Sonic, Team Dragon Knight.'' Neo Metal proclaims overconfident, sounding cocky. Now Haruto is sure this thing is meant to be despair.
Sonic slowly startles with widened eyes, uttering out. ''Okay this is new.''
''How come?'' Ryan asks, very unfamiliar with this guy. Sonic hums for a moment before answering him. ''Metal remembers us. Egghead would clear his memories when he has control of him.''
''Plus he has his Neo form too.'' Yugi states, recalling from Sonic that Metal in his Neo form is much stronger and more intelligent.
Alicia blinks as she asks, surprised. ''Oh, then metal head remembers me then?''
Neo Metal gazes coldly at the woman who ruined his plans.
''How could I forget the woman I will rip off her heart out of her chest!'' Neo Metal proclaims clenching his sharp claws into a fist, vowing to end her life. Alicia sighs as she responds, triggering her Valkyria form.
"Point made.'' Alicia answers, taking aim with her lance and shield guarding her and the others. Neo Metal scoffs standing his ground, having no point in ending her… yet.
''Oh ho ho ho!'' The group startles looking up to see Eggman descending over his hovercraft. The evil genius laughs proudly, proclaiming. ''Well if it isn't my annoying arch-nemesis and his friends.''
''Doctor.'' Shadow says calmly. Eggman laughs as he expresses. ''How do you like my new Robotnikingdom!''
Most of everyone sweat drops by that name with Usagi muttering out. ''T-that's some name.''
Eggman just laughs as suddenly the group feels surrounded. They turn to see many different types of humanoid robots. He smirks asking them. ''And do you enjoy my servants?''
Yugi looks at the robots, sensing auras from them. He immediately widens his eyes into a glare of fury at the evil doctor as his purple eyes turn Yin-Yang Dragon eyes.
''W-what did you do to them?'' Yugi demands loudly, really furious. This surprises even Kaiba and Shadow as Haruto slides his right ring over his belt.
''SCAN, PLEASE.'' The voice of the Wizardriver announces, scanning the robot and startles at what he found out, revealing to the group. ''There're humans inside of those robots?''
''No. More like they've been robotized.'' Shadow realizes, informing the group. Eggman laughs at this reply, overjoyed. ''Precisely! This is my kingdom Shadow! One of many!''
Yugi glares enraged and protests loudly. ''Then we'll free all of them!''
He suddenly dashes with Yin-Yang Dash and touches one of the robotized humans by the forehead with his bare hand. Yugi focuses on Yin-Yang Dragon's ability to revert everything to what it was… and nothing happened. This shocks him as that robotized human swings his arm turning it into a blade but Yugi dodges it, dashing back next to the others.
''Okay, we may have forgotten but our balance ability doesn't always work.'' Yin Dragon suddenly speaks telepathically to Yugi, revealing the one drawback to their ability. Yugi startles as Yang Dragon then adds humbly. ''Meaning our power can't reach their human flesh through their metal.''
Yugi glares worryingly. Neo Metal snickers calmly as he states. ''Your powers won't work on them.''
He then points over the sky, adding coldly. ''Nor him.''
''Him?'' Judai mutters as a laser beam calms down but Shadow and Danny quickly respond, forming their barrier moves, blocking the attack. Yugi looks up and just widens his eyes. ''K-Kurosaki-san?''
The group looks up and sees it in their dismay. What they thought was Kurosaki was him… robotized. His body is covered in metal, resembling his Bankai and his face covered by a robotized Hollow Mask. Only his Zanpakuto remains the same while the rest is purely robotic.
''Oh…'' Naruto begins uttering out with Ed adding. ''Man…''
''Oh ho ho ho! You're all done for!'' Eggman declares laughing, smirking as he tells himself. ''Eat it Masters. I will be the one to win this game.''
The robotized Ichigo howls as he fires a laser beam resembling a Cero from his mouth at the group. Yugi and the others watch in horror.
Having arrived in the third zone, Team Dragon Knight finds one of their own under Eggman and Metal Sonic's control. Will they be able to save their friend and save his home too? Tick-Tock. Tick-Tock.

However, Ichigo is soon confronted by the fear and despair in her heart.

Who is this little girl? She's Evangeline A.K. McDowell, one of the strongest characters in Negima and one of the fewest female villains/anti-villains out there. Basically… she was turned into a vampire at the age of 10, over 700 years ago. She's a special type of vampire who doesn't have any of the vampire weaknesses (had them but she overcame them) and can regenerate any damage done to her. Of course that helped her more than once when she was hunted down for being a monster and had to survive since people feared her and have tried to kill her many times over… to fail. So she tracked down the man who made her into this monster after she learned the mastering of magic and slaughter him… until she learned that was not the man who turned her but the Mage of the Beginning (DO NOT ASK ME WHO THE HELL THAT IS BECAUSE IT'S RIDICULES AND MAKES NO SENSE).
Anyway, Evangeline would later make a name for herself with her vast dark magic and vampire powers as Dark Evangel. She would eventually, centuries later, come across a man known as the Thousand Master known better as Nagi Springfield, falling for him regardless of her age and well… she went yandere mode when he rejected him and so he placed a curse on her, restricting her powers and sealing her in Mahora City near the city's academy for girls so she can live happy.
NOW… for the DKR timeline… Nagi's son hasn't been born yet and the events of Negima have not started or won't start (the manga has the year of 2001 and DKR is around 2013-2014 at best) and that is how Chachamaru would be born (robot maid/partner for Evangeline created by smart girl of the same class as Negi is teaching)… YEA.
Let me get this out of the way… I'm not doing Negima other than Evangeline? Why? What the hell am I supposed to do with Negi? He's a magic user yes but he's a teacher plus I would have to add a part of his story in DKR and that's just… it's not hard but I have so much to write and I can save Negima for another time. Plus Haruto is basically Negi (but cooler). Plus Negi will be busy with his students and what not (which isn't an issue per say but is for DKR).
Then why Evangeline? BECAUSE SHE IS AWESOME. Plus I wanted to give Akumu someone… and well no one really struck with me. What? Beryl? Salem? SAILOR GALAXIA?! PFF. Galaxia would kill him and fail. Salem wouldn't care for such nonsense but her own goals. BERYL? PFF. I wasn't planning to revive her anyway but here we are. Besides, having one immortal be with another who can fix her child age issues. Plus I promise Redwallfan2000 as we would do this for both our fanfics… though he removed Guardian Digimon and plans to reboot it. Plus Evangeline is just as powerful of every right and necessary for DKR.
So no Chachamaru (yet anyway in the near future) and possibly (can't promise but we'll see) no other Negima character or plot thing happening right now in DKR.
AND YES I'M AWARE OF U.Q. HOLDER BUT I DON'T CARE. If I want to pair Akumu Momomiya, Dark Leader Dragon with someone, it should be someone that's evil but has a sense of HUMANITY and won't backstab him. So why not a witch! A vampire!
If I didn't know about Evangeline or decided not to use her; I'm not sure who would work? Morrigan from Darkstalkers? YEA RIGHT... EH… Maybe? Eh, hmm...
Anyway, I'm not sure who but Evangeline. But she's a child?! PFF. I WILL FIX THAT.
