Hello to all! This is Episode 46 of the new arc of Volume 5: The Dark Conquest!
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 5: Episode 46: Final Zone! Arkham's Sinister Game!
In the previous episode of DKR:
Things were bleak as Team Dragon Knight and their allies in Karakura Town were separated and forced to deal with unexpected Hollows after the town had been rescued. What was worse is that Yugi's group was dealing with Ulquiorra and Yammy while Ichigo, Alicia, Haruto and the others were dealing with Grimmjow.
Mew Erika, Ryan and Sonic tried to deal with Yammy while Ulquiorra mopped with any attack Ruby and Weiss couldn't do a thing. Shadow did his part but it didn't do much but it stalled for Yugi to enter Burst Limit and fight the Espada evenly.
Elsewhere Haruto/Wizard fought his best against Grimmjow and wasn't able to do much. He used up nearly all of his rings and worst he ran out of Mana and was de-transformed. Alicia tried to fight the Espada and still couldn't do much.
Ichigo was frozen up in despair and worst was letting the despair crack her body literally. Not wanting to see her like this, Berry and Ringo decided to fight like their leader would do it. Seeing them grow up, Ichigo realized her own helplessness with a bit of convincing from the Skitty she found, Ichigo regained what was shattered; her hope.
Grimmjow prepared to kill them all but Ichigo with Skitty stopped him and finally, Ichigo transformed into Mew Ichigo once again. Having a touching moment, both Ichigo and Alicia fought together like the friends they are to beat the Espada. Even more shocking was Mew Ichigo's Evolution form taking on a new form even stronger than the original.
Seeing the young girl once more believing in herself, Haruto stood up again and with the Wizardragon's powers, he was able to transform into Wizard Flame Dragon. As Mew Ichigo left to help Yugi, Wizard easily disposed of Grimmjow… seemingly but Yoruichi arrived to help them.
Yugi's fight with Ulquiorra intensified but with Mew Ichigo's arrival, the two easily surprised the Espada with their powerful teamwork. And then the arrival of Kurosaki, fully restored from being robotized, our heroes were confident. However, soon Aizen appeared and after exchanging words, the evil Shinigami retreated with his forces.
Team Dragon Knight barely survived this encounter but with less than an hour, can they save the last zone before their time is up?
And now the conclusion... last left off in the previous episode:
Gathering up finally thanks to Sonic, Team Dragon Knight takes a temporary breather… some more than others. Jonouchi eyes Haruto, sitting on a bench looking wary and exhausted.
"Man you look drained.'' The darkened blond head states the obvious while Haruto chuckles a bit, expressing. ''Thanks for asking…''
Dashing in like a blur, Sonic appears with a bag of food as he announces. ''Anyone ordered Plain Sugar Donuts with Chilly Dogs?''
''Just plain sugar…'' Haruto expresses, a little bit gagged at the idea to eat a donut with chilly. Sonic grins tossing the bag to him as he catches it and opens it up. Haruto pulls out a plain sugar donut and sniffs it smiling before eating it. He moans, really liking it as he utters. ''Thanks.''
Sonic grins giving him a thumb up as he eats his Chilly Dog.
Yugi watches smiling and thinks back to when Kojan taught him something important about making friends, something he hasn't forgotten.
Having met the young girl, Keiko asked the two boys to help her with a surprise party for those within the school camp. The two boys prepped the room with decorations.
''Keiko-kun, is this good?'' Kid Yugi asked the slightly older girl who nodded smiling. ''Super good!''
Kid Yugi smiled as he looked at Kid Kojan tossing a few plastic forks with precise aim outside the window at a tree, shaping all the forks into a frowning face.
''You're going to help too, Kojan-kun?'' Keiko asked him, smiling a bit. Keiko turned, eyeing her and answered calmly. ''I'm good.''
Keiko sweat dropped at his response and asked again. ''Find it boring?''
Kid Kojan still eyed her though he looked concerned, not for himself or her but another.
''A bit though… I'm thinking of my Nii-san.'' He told her, worrying if his older brother is okay. Kid Yugi turned towards him, recalling once that Kojan mentioned he had a brother but before he could speak up, a shadow hovered over him.
''What's he-'' Keiko began to ask him about his sibling but before she could finish her words, a scream surprised the two. They turned to see Kid Yugi tossed on the ground harder as his body was being stomp by the bullies from before.
Kid Kojan moved in front of Keiko as he declared annoyed. ''You guys again?''
The bullies grinned with their leader kicking Kid Yugi right to the other group. Keiko gasped, helping the poor kid up as the main bully declared, pointing his finger at Kid Kojan. ''This time I'm going make you sorry!''
Kid Kojan doesn't answer, looking at Kid Yugi getting up, sobbing by the injuries they gave him. Frowning for his well being, Kid Kojan faced the bullies and openly said, shrugging his shoulders. ''Nay.''
This shocked everyone other than Kid Yugi staring astonished.
''W-what do you mean by that?!'' The main bully uttered out angrily. Kid Kojan eyed him and admitted with a happy smirk. ''You guys aren't worth it. I don't want to make enemies; I rather that we can become friends.''
The bullies didn't follow as Kid Kojan recalled words that his brother's best friend who he considered as his other older brother about the pointlessness of having enemies if true peace will never be achieved. Kid Kojan felt the same too as he expressed with a big smile. ''I mean what's the point hurting the weak if we can all become close and have a good laugh, right?''
Kid Yugi stared amazed with Keiko blushing. The bullies however didn't like that, mainly the main leader who immediately charged at Kid Kojan.
''YOU DAMN BASTARD-'' He began yelling, throwing a punch at him and hit the air. He staggered as suddenly he found the edge of a pencil tip near his throat with Kid Kojan holding it. Kid Yugi could see in shock a dark gaze in Kojan's eyes.
''I'm giving you a choice. If you won't change your ways then I'll break you.'' Kid Kojan threatened the bully, gently grinding the sharp tip of the pencil into a bit of the bully's neck skin. ''Understand.''
The main bully trembled horrified and nodded softly. Kid Kojan didn't response and released his grip on his neck. Immediately release, the bully turned and shouted swinging another punch. ''I GOT-''
Kid Kojan, without looking, caught the fist and then lifted him up and tossed him into the door. The bully screamed crashing into the door and fell on the ground, grunting. The other bullies stared terrified as Kojan gazed at them and told them off. ''Take your leader out of my sight.''
They trembled and nodded, running away as they drag their leader away still on the ground. Keiko sighed, upset how boys have to fight.
"Awesome…'' Kid Yugi smiled, finding Kojan even more amazing than before. ''Awesome Kojan-kun! You're-''
''I'm not awesome.'' The young tricolor head startled with a surprise face from Kid Kojan's response, looking at him with an upset smile. ''I might have made things worse.''
Kid Yugi didn't think about it like that. Kid Kojan frowned looking at his hands and he didn't want to use these hands to hurt others or at least try not to. Sighing, he eyed the young tricolor head and asked him with a small smile. ''Yugi, you don't like hurting others right?''
Kid Yugi stared at him and answered by shaking his head. Kid Kojan smiled as he responded back. ''Good! You're someone who could change others for the better.''
The young tricolor head didn't follow. What could someone like him, weak and small, do to help change others?
''Remember this!'' Kid Kojan proclaimed, smiling as he pointed at his friend confidently. ''Kindness is stronger than hate! Making friends than enemies is a better life and only you can do that. Believe in me.''
Kid Yugi stared at him still not following but couldn't help but nodded smiling, promising him. ''I will!''
Kid Kojan smiled happy to hear that while Keiko giggled. That day, Kojan taught Yugi that kindness is not a weakness.
Yugi smiles softly yet saddened, wondering what happened to that Kojan. He slowly frowns, really wondering what happened to him.
''Everything okay, Yugi-kun?'' The tricolor head blinks, turning to eye Ichigo. He blinks as he responds, hesitating a bit. ''Y-yea, I'm-''
Yugi soon notices the lack of no cat feature on Ichigo as he utters out. ''Oh hey you're cat ears.''
Ichigo blinks, touching her head and oddly sighs of relief. She could even feel her human ears again.
''Yea! I guess I can control when they pop out again Nya.'' She assumes, surprised that it even works. Though Ichigo giggles, happy she can live more like a human but she's still surprised that it worked. Maybe her new Evolution version helped out?
Yugi smiles happy to see her back to her old self but once more frowns, admitting he could have fixed that problem on his own than let her solve it. He… he felt bad, still feels bad that he couldn't protect Ichigo back then. He messed up and he could have fixed this.
''Sorry. I've been a terrible boyfriend. I should have-'' Yugi begins expressing upset at himself but Ichigo immediately protests, admitting the same. ''No! I-I've been a terrible girlfriend.''
Yugi eyes her and still protests, recalling that fight.
''I blamed myself and couldn't look at you the same way.'' The tricolor head says, still recalling how pathetic to overhear Ichigo that day in the hospital. He frowns, eyeing her, telling her. "You loved the Mew Aqua Rod. It was a special weapon only for you.''
''… It wasn't just special, it connected me to you too Nya.'' Ichigo, however, protests adoring her weapon because its powers came from their love.
Yugi stares at her and smiles softly. He eyes her and proclaims strongly. ''I'm going to do better so I don't fail you again.''
Ichigo smiles back as she too promises. ''And I won't give up on myself so I can always have your back Nya!''
The two soon giggle a bit, finding the other being way too cheesy but they liked that about each other.
The others watch most smiling while Jonouchi, however, asks nicely. ''Please don't kiss guys.''
Smiling, Ichigo raises and taps her right index finger over Yugi's lips, asking him politely. ''One moment Nya.''
Ichigo walks quickly to Jonouchi and smiles before kicking and stomping her right foot over his crotch. Jonouchi makes a face of dread as Ichigo pulls back and watches him fall backwards, grabbing his crotch.
''DAMN IT!'' Jonouchi yells out in agony, hating that cheap blow. Ichigo giggles walking back to Yugi.
''Now-'' Ichigo begins to say naughty-like until Yugi kisses her on the lips. This surprises her but blushes warmly, so happy. They kiss for a good moment and soon he backs away smiling.
''I love you, Ichigo-kun.'' Yugi, blushing red, expresses happily as Ichigo blushes the same way, replying the same way. ''I love you too, Yugi-kun Nya.''
Usagi smiles warmly to see her cousin back to herself too and finding this so romantic.
She blushes, missing that her cat ears and tail pop out. Yugi sees them and smiles. ''Oh hey, they can still pop out!''
He starts petting her ears as Ichigo purrs, her tail wagging happily. She giggles so happily but then snaps out, remembering they're on a time limit. She looks around and doesn't see someone among their group.
''Where is Kurosaki-kun? We have to leave Nya.'' She utters out with Yugi snapping out, almost forgetting. ''Right…''
He moves his hand away from Ichigo and lifts his index and middle fingers to his forehead, focusing.
Alone, Kurosaki, still in Bankai, stares at the lake where his mother died. He frowns even though the Grand Fisher is no more… he can't help but still feel… like his mother's death hasn't been avenged. Maybe it never will be as Ichigo still blames himself for that day. How-
''Kurosaki-kun?'' Kurosaki startles turning to see Orihime approaching him, blushing as she waves at him. ''Inoue?''
Orihime walks up beside him before looking at the riverbank. She's fully aware by Tatsuki that this is the place that Ichigo's mother died here and later by Rukia, learned it was the doing of a Hollow going after him.
''Reminded of your mother, Kurosaki-kun?'' She asks him, almost reading what was in his thoughts. The orange headed Ichigo doesn't respond as he looks at the river too and expresses. ''Yea…''
When he was robotized and hit by Wizard's Water Style's attack, it caused him to remember that day… the rain, nothing but rain.
''I saw rain when I was not myself.'' He informs her, saddened to recall that day of being on top of his protective mother's dead body.
Orihime frowns, able to understand his pain as she was the same when her brother died. And then it made her realize something about Ichigo; they both try to do something that the person they loved that died would have liked.
''… Do you protect others because of her, right?'' She questions him to Ichigo's surprise. She soon startles seeing him react like that and quickly apologizes nervously, laughing awkwardly. ''I-I MEAN I know this is a touchy topic and I shouldn't bring it up! Haha!''
Kurosaki stares at her and smiles softly.
''It's fine, Inoue.'' He says to Orihime's surprise, staring at him smiling. ''I'm glad you asked me.''
The long orange haired young woman blushes happily, being acknowledged by him. Ichigo stares at him grunting a bit, not wanting to sound off but her words did cheer her up.
''Thank-'' He begins to thank her, turning to face her and immediately Kurosaki sweats in shock to see Yugi in between him and Orihime. She turns and is startled to see him here.
''Sorry, but we got a time limit.'' Yugi kindly apologizes as he grabs on both of them.
''W-wait, what the hell do you mean by-'' Kurosaki begins complaining; questioning what he means but before he could all 3 are teleported.
Soon all 3 reappear with the rest of the group. Orihime just has this awkward ''WTF'' face with Kurosaki gazing mad at Yugi. The young Dragon Knight snickers nervously once more apologizing. ''Sorry but you'll hate this more.''
He eyes Sonic and asks him. ''Sonic-kun, take us to the edge of Domino.''
The others panic with Sonic smirking and he declares smiling. ''Like the sound of those words!''
''Nyan?'' Skitty utters out with a puzzling, unease face as she's held close around Ichigo's arms. Ichigo smiles as she hands the pink cat to Berry.
''Keep her close you two.'' Ichigo asks of Berry and Ringo, not wanting to come along knowing this next zone they need to win and the two are already exhausted. The two girls frown a bit but understand. Ichigo nods as she walks away but then stops, turning back to the two young Mew Mews.
''Berry-chan, Ringo-chan.'' Ichigo begins to say as she then begins praising them. ''I'm proud of both of you Nya.''
Berry startles but smiles softly. Ichigo giggles as she about to turn; she's suddenly hugged by Ringo. She sobs of joy, expressing joyfully. ''I'm happy to have you back, Ichigo-Onee-chan.''
Ichigo just smiles softly patting her head. Ichigo smiles as Ringo releases her and gives her a thumb up. The red cherry girl winks as she turns to join the others. Haruto sees this and smiles to see her regain her hope.
''Shall we?'' He asks Yugi as Ichigo agrees, asking her tricolor head too. ''Yugi-kun!''
Yugi smiles nodding as he proclaims. ''Let's go, everyone!''
Sonic cracks his gloved hands, declaring with a smirk. ''Time for some speed!''
The blue hedgehog immediately dashes along with Ed unprepared while he screams in shock. Yugi eyes Kurosaki as Sonic comes back and dashes off with the next person being Usagi who screams in surprise.
''You can stay behind if you-'' Yugi begins to say not meaning to ruin his moment with Orihime but Kurosaki protests, stating himself. ''Nay. Might as well pay you guys for saving me and get even with that Zorc.''
Yugi smiles as Sonic returns and grabs the next pair with Naruto and Judai. Kurosaki sweat drops as he mutters out of concern. ''Just wish we didn't have to-''
Suddenly he's taken by Sonic as he dashes off. Yugi chuckles nervously, saying out loud. ''Haha, I know.''
Eventually Sonic dashes off with everyone with Mew Erika and Team RWBY still coming along. In her arms, Skitty suddenly leaps off Berry's possession and hops onto Mew Ichigo's shoulder, surprising her as Sonic takes her off too.
Berry and Ringo watch as their friends are off, hoping they'll do okay… and Berry pulls out her phone calling Ryou for a pickup.
Having sensed the loss of Karakura Town, Arkham stands over a building within Domino City under his control. The city still looked the same but darker and dark clouds covered over the city.
''So Robotnik has fallen too.'' Arkham proclaims, now more than certain he must not lose this zone at all cost. He's having resistance here but it means very little but if Team Dragon Knight stops him, then Zorc will surely lose. He must not let that happen. He walks past Amon, telling him coldly. ''Do try to not lose, Amon.''
Amon curls his lips angrily, telling himself seriously. ''You should be telling yourself that.''
Chuckling, Arkham is actually excited as time is on his side. An hour left. He can't lose with these odds and the surprise he has for those foolish children.
''Now then…'' Arkham begins to proclaim as his golden eyes shine. ''I'm waiting, Team Dragon Knight.''
With 1 hour left, can Yugi and the others save Domino and beat Zorc?
Commercial Break:
Yugi: I know we can win and beat Zorc. Because our bonds will overcome despair!
Ichigo: Our bonds, hope and love Nya! We will win for sure!
Team Dragon Knight walks across the seemingly abandoned Domino City, not seeing a single person in the street. Unaware even by the tricolor head, Kojan gazes down at Yugi and his group from over a building.
Kojan looks down at them without a look of confidence that they can even win this ''game'' he overheard from that other Bakura. Regardless, it doesn't concern him.
''Certain they can't win?'' Kojan turns to see Shadow Knight on the other end of the building, looking at him. The Uchiha scoffs as he replies. ''If they win, it's by luck and it'll be on Yugi alone.''
Shadow Knight shakes his head as he responds. ''Don't underestimate someone with greater potential and desires, Kojan-kun.''
Kojan just glares coldly. The only thing on his mind is one thing; only one thing: Revenge.
Still looking around, Jonouchi groans, worrying at the empty streets. Nobody is around. Mew Ichigo tries walking confidently but her legs are shaking out of terror.
The cat girl gulps as does Skitty, eyeing the tricolor head and asks him nervously. ''Yugi-kun, maybe Burst Limit right away would be a good-''
Yugi eyes her and corrects her. ''Would be a waste actually. Knowing who our foe is; we'll be forced to duel him.''
Mew Ichigo blinks, just forgetting that Arkham is one of the bosses. Skitty purrs puzzled as Ichigo giggles and pets the pink kitty. She still doesn't get why the strange cat follows behind her but she doesn't mind it.
''Arkham and…'' Judai begins to say as he theorizes who the sub-boss must be. ''Amon, without a doubt.''
Yugi agrees and finding them would be hard. Luckily before they begin searching as a group, he asked a favor from Naruto to use his Shadow Clones to find their targets.
''And that's why Naruto is our scout.'' Danny says with a smile with Naruto chuckling, getting acknowledged as he says. ''Hehe! You bet I am!''
Alicia sweat drops how happy he can be being acknowledged. Still, with his clones, they might find the bosses of this zone and finally save this last city.
''Find them then. I'll finish those worms quickly.'' Kaiba proclaims overconfidently yet coldly. Jonouchi makes a face as he tries to protest. ''Hey Kaiba, we might still-''
But before their conversation can continue, Yugi's eyes flash as he turns around rapidly. Just then figures emerge out of the ground to everyone's shock.
''Z-ZOMBIES!'' Sailor Moon screams out on impulse. Naruto screams out of terror and runs for his life but Sonic with insane instant speed grabs on his leg pants so he can't escape.
''They're not zombies.'' Shadow tells her as he can see they don't look human but more monstrous. Jonouchi blinks awkwardly as Judai checks with his eyes glowing golden and confirming it. ''Those are Zombie Duel Monsters.''
Indeed it is the most classic Zombie Duel Monsters. And not just those manifesting out of thin air are multiple classic Fiend monsters.
"And Fiend monsters too.'' Yugi points out with Mew Ichigo groaning. Jonouchi worries, hoping Honda and Otogi are protecting Shizuka. So help him, he will tear those two-
The creatures soon come charging as Kaiba scoffs, drawing a card from his Deck and prepares to summon it until a familiar voice shouts. ''Go, Topaz Tiger! Topaz Bite!''
With swift speed, the attacking monsters are pushed and most slash apart by Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger. Just then another figure slashes a few other demons, revealing to be Mew Plum.
''Nee-san!'' Yugi utters out while Judai turns and smiles to see Johan arriving on the scene, figuring as much by his Crystal Beast. ''Johan!''
Sighing, Mew Plum turns around to face the group and tells them, really exhausted. ''Took you guys forever to come back woof.''
Mew Plum had a long day taking care of anyone she found and kept them safe from this nightmare scenario, including Yugi's other friends.
''Konoha is far away.'' Yugi expresses with an awkward, small smile. Mew Ichigo then speaks up seriously. ''We need to find Arkham and Amon!''
Mew Plum staggers partly to see the cat girl back to herself. She smiles as she says firmly. ''I don't know who the other guy is but that masked man I haven't seen. Been too busy dealing with them.''
She eyes Yugi and tells him concerned. "People have been losing their souls by these monsters, either too weak or overpowered them. So we have to beat this last boss to restore them hopefully and then-"
''Great, these brats again.'' Just then the group startles by a voice and looks ahead. Ruby and her friends are shocked to see up ahead is Roman Torchwick with Neo and a few White Fangs.
''Ah man it's the weirdo with the awesome hat.'' Jonouchi and Naruto both complain loudly. This irritates Torchwick who expresses angrily. ''How am I a weirdo?!''
''The eyelash.'' Judai says the obvious. Roman sulks at such nonsense, recomposing himself as he says. ''Never mind, you brats will have to deal with us now.''
Yugi glares no doubt this is Arkham's doing. This army of zombies, fiends and that cane guy and his group is only meant to slow them down and prevent them from reaching Arkham and Amon.
Mew Ichigo looks at Ruby, gazing worryingly at these odds, and just smiles asking her. ''Ruby-chan, you worry you might not be a good leader because you can't fight without the Crescent Rose right Nya?''
Ruby startles, turning to the cat girl and responds a bit hesitant. ''Y-yea…''
The Mew Mew smiles as she tells her, strongly confident in her. ''Then believe you can Nya! Even a good head butt will work!''
Ruby actually blushes, smiling a bit. Sailor Moon giggles at her cousin's advice and speaks up with a wink. ''Also try kicking too! OH! Headbutting too!''
Mew Ichigo giggles, agreeing as she declares facing forward. ''Then we better make use of those kicks Nya! Cousin Usagi-chan, Erika-chan, Plum-chan; let's beat these monster freaks Nya!''
Sailor Moon winks as Mew Plum smiles. Mew Erika eyes Ryan and smiles as if he's needed. Ryan nods wishing her luck with a thumb up.
Alicia looks at Mew Ichigo and smiles, knowing she has this.
Mew Ichigo also eyes Ruby and her friends and asks them. ''Team RWBY, you got our backs Nya?''
Ruby blinks as she eyes her friends also wanting to help. Smiling, the young huntress replies. ''You bet Ichigo!''
Mew Ichigo giggles as she looks at Yugi and tells him. ''Yugi-kun, you and the others go on ahead!''
Yugi looks at her and doesn't need to worry about her responding. ''Right, Ichigo-kun!''
Haruto looks at the two having such trust for the others but mainly their hope for themselves and others. He's seen Yugi fight and he's found a way to win while Ichigo overcomes such despair that it gives her new power. Not just them but everyone else has such hope to keep on fighting.
''You two are something else.'' Yugi and Mew Ichigo blink eyeing Haruto as he says from what he's seen. ''You and your friends have strong Gates though you and Ichigo-chan have stronger Gates. I see why everyone is influenced to be a team because you two inspire such connections.''
Mew Ichigo blushes in his praisement as Haruto then adds. ''If you guys truly believe in Hope, then I should trust my Hope on you then.''
''Haruto-kun…'' Yugi mutters out, also astonished by his words.
''Well, something like that.'' Haruto then says shrugging his shoulders, chuckling a bit for how dramatic he needs to be. He then remembers something, reaching in his pocket. He pulls out something and calls out to the tricolor head. ''Yugi.''
He tosses the cards as Yugi catches them and blinks that they are Duel Monster cards.
''My parents got me these cards but I never bother making one of those decks…'' Haruto explains, recalling for a brief moment the car accident he and his parents had and… the rest is hard to remember. He looks at the tricolor head and tells him. ''I grew up a bit too fast to enjoy the game. So use them to beat that masked man.''
''…'' Silent, Yugi slowly smiles, sliding the cards into his deck and tells him. ''Right!''
He eyes Mew Ichigo and tells her kindly. ''Ichigo-kun, catch up okay.''
Smiling softly, Mew Ichigo replies back to her Yugi. ''I promise Nya!''
Yugi nods as he and his group heads off. Mew Plum sighs, hoping they can find the two they need to beat.
Torchwick sweat drops, really thinking they forgot he was still here.
Smiling confidently, Mew Ichigo soon proclaims with a look of determination. ''Let's do this, girls Nya!''
Walking alone in the city, Arkham hums looking at the emptiness of this place. If he moves, he will avoid being found by Yugi and his friends.
Honestly, this wasn't Arkham's plan. He wanted to capture and crucifixed Yugi's friends in the North, South, East and West parts of Domino and if he doesn't save them; they will die in 30 minutes. And on top of that, he would have Greed, Vlad and Robotnik to return to stand in the way with traps set through the city. So if Yugi value his friends, which is his obvious weakness; he would accept and fail.
Zorc loved the idea... but he chose against it since he wants to win with the time limit condition. Arkham assume the time limit condition to the Dark Conquest is part of his part as the Dark God Zorc Necrophades. It makes the most sense.
Plus, their luck to find Yugi's friends have been problematic... especially due to that dog girl and Judai's friends. The plan would still work... if Vlad and Robotnik were not out of commission and Amon refused, wanting to deal with Judai alone.
So Arkham has to deal with the time limit. Not his cup of tea but it's better than nothing.
''Even if they find me, all I can do is move quickly and avoid them. And if I stall for time, then-'' Arkham begins telling himself, strategizing his plan. However his thoughts are cut off as Arkham finds his head moving to the left, evading a shot meant for his head.
Arkham looks ahead and his eyes widen briefly.
''You two…'' He mutters out, staring upon O'Brien, who tried to shoot him, and Jim Cook.
''Hey there. So you're the new Supreme King.'' Jim proclaims, his one visible eye looking at him firmly. Arkham looks at them and slowly begins chuckling.
''You can say that.'' Arkham responds cocky. He then says in a twisted tone. ''How ironic that the two fools that fought the Haou that were within Judai have come before me. How… nostalgic.''
O'Brien glares seriously as he prepares to move his Duel Disk gun blaster at him but Jim stops him, simply gazing at Arkham. The masked villain still snickers as he soon says. ''But I have no time to deal with pathetic worms.''
He turns around to walk away, not wanting these pests to-
''Afraid we might beat you?'' Arkham suddenly stops and turns around, gazing at Jim from his mocking words. He turns around and immediately questions them, leaning his head to the side like a psychopath with his eyes narrowed humorously. ''Beat me? You two couldn't beat Haou back then and you expect to best me here? Don't waste my time.''
No response from them as Arkham scoffs and prepares to turn around until O'Brien then proclaims. ''I see now.''
Arkham hums looking at the young man who then says firmly. ''The Haou that was Judai was the true king. You're a fake if not a coward.''
This staggers the masked villain with a venomous glare.
''You dare? A worm afraid of Haou.'' Arkham calls him off angrily with O'Brien immediately replying. ''That was then, this is now.''
Jim smiles, agreeing as he then taunts Arkham. ''Afraid we might beat you together. I suppose. Haou would have lost to us together too.''
''…'' Silent by his words, Arkham breathes calmly but his eyes glow angrily. He raises his left arm and manifests his Duel Disk, spinning around like a top.
''… You're lucky I don't throw away the pointlessness of dueling over the more direct killing you two on the spot.'' Arkham responds with a pissed off stare, not going to tolerate their mockery any longer.
O'Brien responds, attaching his gun to his arm and changes it into his Duel Disk.
Jim sets Shelia behind him as he adjusts his hat and then activates his own Duel Disk.
''Guess we are.'' Jim responds with a confident smile with Arkham glaring. He will make sure these two pests regret mocking a villain like himself. A coward? No. He will not tolerate it and they will regret those words.
''DUEL!'' All 3 duelists shout, drawing their starting hand and commencing the duel.
Duel Screen: Austin O'Brien: 4000LP & Jim Cook: 4000LP vs. Arkham: 4000LP
Arkham eyes his hand and chuckles informing the two. ''I shall go first to give you two a ''fighting'' chance.''
O'Brien and Jim glare but accept the terms.
Duel Screen: Turn 1_ O'Brien: 4000LP H: 5 / Jim: 4000LP H: 5 / Arkham: 4000LP H: 5
''My turn, draw.'' Arkham proclaims drawing his top card. He picks a card in his hand and proceeds in summoning it. ''I summon Evil HERO Abyss Guardian!''
Appearing on his field is a giant golem-like demon monster that almost resembles Destiny HERO Defender.
Evil HERO Abyss Guardian Lvl 4 ATK: 0 DEF: 2500
''Abyss Guardian's effect, once per each End Phase, I must reveal a HERO monster in my hand and if I don't, my monster is destroyed.'' Arkham explains his Evil HERO's drawback before setting a card and declaring. ''I set 1 card face-down. My turn is over.''
Arkham soon reveals Evil HERO Blood Ripper, finishing his turn. O'Brien manages to get a good look at it and notices its hand monster.

''My turn!'' O'Brien declares drawing his top card now. He eyes his options and knows, just like Jim, they must beat this man as quickly as possible.
''I activate the Continuous Spell, Blaze Accelerator!'' O'Brien declares summoning his massive cannon-like weapon onto the field. Arkham scoffs not surprised.
''Once per turn, I can send a Pyro Monster from my hand to destroy a monster my opponent controls but I cannot declare an attack this turn.'' O'Brien proclaims revealing Volcanic Shell and discards it. The small, fiery-like tiny lizard appears and thrusts itself into the barrel of the weapon, loading up. ''Fire!''
The cannon fires a powerful fire shot that it connects and explodes upon Arkham's monster, destroying it. The masked villain brushes off the dust of the destruction and announces. ''Abyss Guardian's other effect lets me draw a card when it is destroyed.''
He draws 1 card as he then triggers his set card. ''I activate the trap, Evil Signal!''
His set card flips over, showing the image of a corruption symbol of the HERO symbol, shining over a destroyed Skyscraper. Arkham then explains his trap's effect as he pulls out his deck and looks through it. ''With this, I search through my Deck and then I can summon a Level 6 or lower Evil HERO monster from my Deck to the field but that monster cannot attack.''
Arkham picks his monster card and then summons it. ''I summon Evil HERO Silent Tactician!''
Appearing on the field is a gray skinned demon with horns, wearing a black, red lining elegant general outfit with a cape-like coat with a general cap.
Evil HERO Silent Tactician Lvl 4 ATK: 1600 DEF: 1500
Silent Tactician's effect lets me add a Fusion card from my Deck to my hand when it is summoned.'' Arkham explains as a card pops out from his deck. He reveals it to be Dark Fusion to both O'Brien and Jim's dismay.
Not beaten yet, O'Brien then announces. ''Next I activate Volcanic Shell from my Graveyard, paying 500 Life Points to add another copy of itself from my Deck to my hand.''
His Life Points drop and then he adds a second Volcanic Shell as he then declares summoning a card. ''I'm not done. I summon Volcanic Slicer!''
Appearing is the massive lizard fire monster.
Volcanic Slicer Lvl 4 ATK: 1800 DEF: 1200
''Volcanic Slicer's effect, exchanging its ability to attack this turn, inflicts 500 of damage to the opponent directly!'' O'Brien proclaims as Slicer breathes and shoots out a powerful fireball from his mouth at Arkham, hitting him directly. Arkham brushes off the damage off his outfit as his Life Points drop.
''I set 2 cards face-down.'' O'Brien declares setting two cards behind his monster and both between Blaze Accelerator as he ends his turn. ''I end my turn.''
Duel Screen: Turn 3_ O'Brien: 3500LP H: 2 / Jim: 4000LP H: 5 / Arkham: 3500LP H: 6
''My turn, draw!'' Jim declares drawing the top card of his deck. Arkham chuckles as he tells him. ''Go on, amaze me.''
''Fine by me.'' Jim responds seriously as he reaches for a card in his hand and plays it, sliding the card into his Spell/Trap Slot. ''First I activate the spell, Foolish Burial! With it I send a monster from my Deck to my Graveyard.''
He picks his monster and sends it to the Graveyard as he then reveals. ''The monster I just sent was Weathering Soldier and its effect lets me when it is destroyed by battle or sent to the Graveyard allows me to add a certain card from my Deck into my hand.''
A card pops out as Jim grabs it out and immediately plays it, revealing it. ''I activate the spell, Fossil Fusion!''
Arkham watches and simply snickers, expressing with enjoyment. ''Fossil Fusion. That must bring back old memories, doesn't it?''
Jim glares as he calls him off mad. ''Don't assume you can understand us mainly Judai by being a so-called half of Haou.''
The masked villain chuckles cockily. Jim resumes his turn. ''Fossil Fusion lets me perform a Fusion Summon of a Fossil Fusion Monster by banishing monster from either player's Graveyards!''
A card pops out from his Graveyard as he announces. "I banish Weathering Soldier and your Abyss Guardian, fusing them!''
Arkham scoffs obeying as he banishes his Evil HERO. Both monsters appear on the field and Jim declares. ''Fusion Summon! Rise up, Fossil Warrior Skull Bone!''
Appearing on his field is a skull-like dinosaur humanoid monster wielding a bone-like lance.
Fossil Warrior Skull Bone Lvl 4 ATK: 2000 DEF: 800
''Since I banished monsters from both our Graveyards, neither of us can target my Fossil monster with monster effects.'' Jim informs while Arkham scoffs, realizing he can't use Blood Ripper's hand effect.
''So you plan to hit me with such a pathetic-'' Arkham begins to express this isn't going to beat him but Jim doesn't stop, activating another card from his hand. ''Next I equip your monster with the Equip Spell, Degrading Fossil!''
The spell materializes showing the image of Living Fossil but fully fossilized. The same is happening to Arkham's Evil HERO, turning into bones.
''My monster…'' He utters as Jim explains his card's effect. ''The monster equipped has its ATK reduced to 0 and it cannot be destroyed by battle.''
Arkham glares as Jim then further explains. ''Skull Bone can make two attacks on monsters; that's enough to beat you this turn!''
The masked villain gazes firmly as that means Jim can abuse his attacks and finish him off.
''Battle! Skull Bone, attack Silent Tactician!'' Jim commands as Skull Bone leaps swiftly towards Arkham's monster, thrusting its spear. Arkham watches and slowly chuckles as his eyes glow menacingly.
''Clever but pointless. Reverse trap open, Zero Gravity!'' Arkham counters triggering his set card. His trap flips over and releases a repulse of gravity. He chuckles proclaiming as he raises his free hand up. ''Under gravity's will, all monsters switch battle positions!''
''Nani?'' Jim utters as Skull Bone is forced into Defense Position as did Volcanic Slicer and Silent Tactician.
Jim glares not defeated yet entering his Main Phase 2 and then summons a monster. ''Not done yet sadly. I summon Shell Knight!''
Appearing is a seashell-like monster onto his field in Defense Position.
Shell Knight Lvl 4 ATK: 0 DEF: 2000
''Shell Knight is switched to Defense Position and then you take 500 of damage!'' Jim explains switching his monster into Defense Position and fires water-like missiles from its clap-like hands. The missiles hit the opponent but Arkham once more wipes off the dirt on his cape, blowing the wind as his Life Points drop again.
Jim glares, eyeing his card and sets it declaring. ''I set 1 card face-down. My turn is over.''
Arkham begins chuckling very much amused. He then proclaims astonishingly while clapping his hands in a taunt. ''Most impressive, the both of you.''
He then stops and then states coldly. ''But now it is my turn to have some fun.''
Duel Screen: Turn 4_ O'Brien: 3500LP H: 2 / Jim: 4000LP H: 2 / Arkham: 3000LP H: 6
''My turn!'' Arkham declares drawing his top card. He it and he chuckles playing it. ''First I begin with this card; the Continuous Spell, Dark Identity!''
The card materializes showing the image of Elemental HERO Bladedge corrupted by darkness, half his body becoming Malicious Edge. Arkham then explains his card's effect. ''With this I can banish a monster from my Deck and treat a monster I control as that monster by name and this effect I can use as many times during my turn.''
He pulls out his Deck and picks his monster, revealing it. ''I choose to banish Elemental HERO Avian and treat Silent Tactician by its name.''
He sends his monster as Silent Tactician gains Avian's name as said hero appears in a dark, undead-like spirit above it.
Arkham reaches another card, chuckling, as he reveals it and plays it. ''Now I activate my Spell, Dark Fusion!''
O'Brien and Jim watch worrying as the card manifests on the field.
''I fuse Silent Tactician that is treated as Avian and Bubbleman from my hand.'' Arkham proclaims revealing Bubbleman in his hand as it appears on the field. Both heroes merge and fuse together.
''Fusion Summon.'' Arkham proclaims as the dark fusion portal manifests a figure. ''Emerge, Evil HERO Depth Manta!''
What appeared is a black, tainted version of Elemental HERO Mariner that wears a suit-like outfit resembling a manta while wielding a more demonic spear.

Arkham scoffs unable to use Silent Tactician's other effect but what can he do but keep going.
''I'm not done. I now summon Evil HERO Blood Ripper.'' Arkham continues his turn summoning the monster he revealed previously. Appearing is a twisted, 1800s wearing, purple skinned male demon wielding a bloody knife-like weapon.
Evil HERO Blood Ripper Lvl 3 ATK: 1200 DEF: 1200
''Blood Ripper's effect upon summoned allows me to add Dark Fusion or a card that has Dark Fusion in its text from my Graveyard to my hand.'' Arkham then explains adding Dark Fusion from his Graveyard. He then proceeds using his Continuous Spell's effect. ''I once more activate Dark Identity's effect. I banish Elemental HERO Wildheart and treat Blood Ripper as such.''
He sends another HERO as Blood Ripper gains Wildheart's name as said hero hovers over the Evil HERO as an unemotional spirit. Arkham then proceeds to play his signature spell again. ''Once more I activate my spell, Dark Fusion! I fuse Blood Ripper treated as Wildheart with Evil HERO Sinister Necrom in my hand.''
Appearing beside Blood Ripper is a more sinister version of Necroshade as both merge within the dark fusion portal.
''Fusion Summon. Emerge, Evil HERO Sinister Shaman!'' Arkham calls forth, emerging from the portal is a twisted, more evil witch doctor version of Necroid Shaman.
Evil HERO Sinister Shaman Lvl 6 ATK: 1900 DEF: 1800
Arkham chuckles even more amused as he announces. ''Sinister Shaman's effect destroys all face-up monsters of the same type on my opponent's field. I destroy all Rock monsters!''
Jim staggers as Sinister Shaman starts chanting almost sinisterly evil as he takes aim with its demonic-like blowpipe. He shoots out a sinister gas that blows towards Jim's field. All of his monsters start to decay quickly so fast they become ashes.
''Next my opponent takes damage equal to the ATK of one of destroyed monsters with the highest attack and those monsters cannot activate their effects.'' Arkham then adds as the gas damages Jim, causing him to scream. ''GAAH!''
Jim drops on one knee, taking 2000LP of damage. O'Brien watches concerned as did Sheila, growling for its master.
''And lastly I Special Summon a monster to my opponent's field from either player's Graveyard.'' Arkham then adds to Jim's surprise. ''What?''
Appearing on his field is O'Brien's Volcanic Shell in Attack Position.
Volcanic Shell Lvl 1 ATK: 100 DEF: 0
Jim gets up not defeated as he announces. ''When a Fossil Fusion Monster I control is destroyed, I can add Fossil Fusion from my Graveyard back to my hand.''
He adds his Fusion Spell back to his hand. Arkham watches that and scoffs unimpressed.
''It changes nothing…'' He states as his eyes glow viciously. ''You will experience another loss by the superior power of my Evil HEROes.''
Jim adjusts his hat as O'Brien glares, but not going to lose.
Poking out through an alley, Manjoume, Asuka, Sho, Kenzan and Edo have been helping Mew Plum with this evil game. The others of their group have split apart though as they have to be careful to find that Arkham or Amon which the dog Mew Mew assumed could be another boss. Still that's better said than not.
''I should have stayed in bed saur.'' Kenzan mutters, with Sho agreeing somewhat. Manjoume gets mad and tells them off, madly. ''Stop complaining!''
They staggered as Manjoume looks ahead, thinking of this situation and this will be the best place to train to overcome his rival
''This is the perfect warm-up when I challenge Judai again.'' He tells himself, smirking as he's made his perfect, flawless deck now. Asuka sweat drops at his delusional assumption. Edo sighs, liking that kind of attitude as he then notices someone, widening his eyes.
''Sure it is and-'' She begins to say with her arms crossed but her words gets cut as Edo rushes out of the alley to everyone's surprise
''Hey Edo-san!'' Manjoume utters out as they try to follow him but soon spots who Edo is going after; Amon.
''Ah saurus!'' Kenzan utters uneasily but the group still follows Edo, knowing that guy is nothing but bad news.
As they did, one of Naruto's Shadow Clones spots them and blinks awkwardly.
''Aren't those-'' He mutters as he sees up ahead and sees that Amon guy. He panics and immediately poofs away to relay this to the original.
Time is still ticking down. Will Team Dragon Knight save this last Zone with time to spare?

As Ichigo and the girls deal with Roman and his army of the undead basically, Yugi and the others learn of where Judai's friends are and having cornered Amon. Judai proceeds to challenge Amon once more but Edo wishes to settle a score he must redeem himself. At the same time, Jim and O'Brien do their best to fight Arkham with the best of their skills but will it be enough?
Danny: I just hope we don't search half an hour and then we might as well give up right?
Shadow scoffs: Say that again and I'll make sure you do become a ghost, forever.
Alicia sighs: Easy guys. We still have Naruto.
Naruto: Yea! My clones will find them, ya know!
And soon gets it.
Naruto: And found that red haired guy but also Judai's friends.
Judai starts becoming concerned: Is Edo among them?
Naruto nods.
Judai: Then we gotta hurry! Next time in Yu-Gi-Oh! Dragon Knight Reborn: Surpassing Destiny! Edo VS Amon! Duel Standby!
