Hello to all! This is Episode 54 of the new arc: The Pursuit!
P.S. I do not own them all or any of them except this crossover story, so I wrote the band's or artist's name that wrote that song which I do not own again.
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight!

Volume 5: Episode 54: Paths of Pursuit!
In the previous episode of DKR:
While Team Dragon Knight had been in many adventures, Team Hebi, mainly Sasuke, had been waiting for a response from the Dark Lord to finally find Itachi and end him. However, nothing happened yet, until Sasuke found a Houndour being mistreated by its trainer. Sasuke dealt with him and left but the Houndour pursued him, drawn to the strange human as it is someone she wished to become: strong. Sasuke read her and as much as he didn't want to, allowed it. So the Houndour joined Sasuke and his team.
While that happened, Selvaria had been traveling for a long time, recalling her confrontation with Jaeger to learn the last moments with Maximilian. She didn't kill him, knowing it is pointless now. Now she traveled, trying to rediscover herself.
Time passed as Sasuke had been training Houndour as his new trainer and partner, reminding a lot to himself and to his brother. However those thoughts were cut off when they came across with Jiraiya. A fight easily broke as Jiraiya, only planning to meet an informant, came to the decision to bring back Naruto's friend back to the village for his failure in not saving Orochimaru. Sasuke, unimpressed, fought the Sannin and seemingly nearly beat him. However, the fight was interrupted by the arrival of Selvaria. Jiraiya, being the perverted, tried flirting with the strange woman but was immediately backed down by Selvaria's cold gaze. Jiraiya was forced to retreat as Sasuke with Houndour began to leave but Selvaria followed, finding similarities to his attacks to Mew Ichigo. The two began to know the other and after Selvaria's stomach betrayed her with hunger, Sasuke welcomed her to go with them.
Time passed as Jiraiya found his informant and learned of Itachi's movement as well as the leader of the Akatsuki. However, this informant was really Akumu, plotting his own trap as he finally sent a message to Sasuke to find Itachi.
As this was happening, Kojan had time alone to think of his brother and what he needed to do to prevent Itachi's death.
What will happen next?
And now the conclusion... a few days later since the previous episode:
It is an awkward silence as Yugi and friends have been helping Ichigo in packing stuff from her house like the extra rooms. Since Ichigo and her family are moving soon, they are packing up everything unnecessary as well as other stuff. Even Haruto is helping since he can tell Ichigo isn't well… plus he can't ignore a young lady with her sad kitten eyes.
It has been a very awkward moment for everyone, knowing Ichigo looks so depressed about this whole situation. She just recovered from her previous depression and now this happens. She doesn't want to leave after getting used to Domino but she has no choice now. She isn't sure how to feel but sadness.
"So…'' Jonouchi begins to speak out, wanting to break the silence as he asks the red cherry head. ''How long do you have left before you move back to Tokyo?''
Ichigo looks at him, sighing like she doesn't want to talk about it but she shouldn't be like that either.
''Maybe a week or so…'' She says it, still sighing as she looks at everyone, mainly those living in her home. She knows if her family leaves, then the house along with the other smaller house that Ed worked on in making.
Ichigo bows to the group, apologizing to them. ''I'm sorry, everyone.''
''Nay don't be.'' Judai expresses with Alicia nods smiling. Ed looks at them and corrects them, explaining. ''She's referring to the house! Since Ichigo's family is leaving the house will likely be bought by someone else and that includes the damn HOUSE THAT I MADE!''
Ichigo nods, feeling the same and apologizes again. ''Sorry again.''
The others look at her saddened, feeling for her.
''Is there anything we can do for Cousin Ichigo-chan?'' Usagi asks the group for a solution to help her cousin. Many aren't sure with Ed answering her sarcastically. ''Buy the house and support the rent and stuff.''
Usagi sweat drops heavily as Ruby worries about where she and her friends will go. Alicia looks at Edward with a disappointing gaze. He sweat drops as he coughs and says. ''Like I can try and maybe if the newbie wants to help us.''
''I sure would!'' Ryan says smiling, not minding to help everyone. Eating a plain sugar donut, Haruto then asks, getting an idea. ''Want to split the payment?''
Everyone blinks, turning to face him as Ryan begins to say. ''Um you don't have to Mr. Magician-''
''Wizard- Well Haruto.'' Haruto corrects him as he puts his donut in his bag and pulls out and then slides on a new ring with a pen symbol on his right hand. He moves his ringed hand over his belt as it chants. ''WRITE, PLEASE!''
The group watches as Haruto begins moving his right index finger, almost writing as magical red words appear out of thin air. The group watches amazed as Haruto asks, pointing at the total he's willingly to give for buying the house. ''Would this cover?''
The group stares and they all drop their jaws, panicking in shock.
''HOLY CRAP!'' Nearly everyone yells out in dismay. The amount is insane. Even Ryan is taken back as that's a similar total he would put too.
''How the heck do you have that much money?'' Honda asks, drooling at the idea to have such money. Haruto doesn't care much for the money and he isn't going to rub it on others for it, never did. He does tell him and the others. ''I inherited a permanent life insurance from my parents when they died due to their workplace and making sure I have everything I will ever need. I invested to help others like me, leaving me with more money.''
This immediately causes everyone to snap out, not aware Haruto lost his parents.
''Wow…'' Judai mutters, feeling that one. Ryan nods in agreement as he looks up at Haruto and tells him. ''… I miss my parents too, mate.''
Haruto oddly cracks a smile, glad he and the others feel like that. Shows they're not well- no, not greedy.
Yugi smiles as he looks at Ichigo who's still packing, trying to distract herself. He frowns as asks her. ''Ichigo-kun, you want to take a break?''
Ichigo turns, facing him with such a cute yet sad look across her face and eyes. This gets to Yugi, needing to do something to make her happy. He gulps at the idea but it might work, suggesting. ''We can… go shopping or whatever you want to do or go.''
She blushes red because of that, actually grateful to Yugi greatly.
''Thank you Yugi-kun…'' Ichigo thanks him though she says, still bummed out. ''But I just want to spend time with you Nya.''
The red cherry head leans on him to Yugi's chest, blushing warmly as Yugi blushes warmly. She then asks him, blushing softly. ''Hold me, okay Nya.''
Yugi just smiles as he wraps his arms around her, giving her that comfort. The others watch, oddly smiling. Even Jonouchi is somewhat okay with this since Ichigo had it rough last time with that Mew Blackberry and now this. As much as he doesn't like her being affectionate with Yugi like that, she does need a moment alone with him… before they spend less time with each other.
''What Ichigo needs is peace.'' Jonouchi openly admits with everyone agreeing. Ed nods in agreement with Ryan saying with a smile. ''Good thing no Dark Lord or another bad guy to deal with.''
''Exactly!'' Judai expresses with a grin. Ruby sighs as she admits about the idea. ''Well… I can ask for training another time right?''
Alicia nods, smiling. Jonouchi grins as he says. ''I'm going to hang out with Honda. We got to catch up to playing-''
And as he's about to talk about what he'll do with his good pal, a familiar hyperactive voice yells out. ''GUYS! FOUND YOU!''
Everyone, including Yugi and Ichigo, blink as they turn and Naruto lands in front of them. Immediately Ed and Alicia begin to panic to see Naruto with such an expression. Ichigo then mutters of terror by his face. ''Oh god no Nya…''
Naruto breathes, struggling to control his inhaling. Judai sweat drops, approaching him, as he asks him. ''Everything cool buddy?''
Immediately opening his mouth, Naruto starts yelling in outbursts. ''SASUKE! WE NEED TO GO! SASUKE!''
''Oh god no Nya.'' Ichigo begins uttering out of horror, fearing this. Naruto then continues his crazy yelling. ''WE GOT A LEAD ON ITACHI! SO WE GOT A LEAD ON SASUKE!''
Everyone stares just speechless, all of them feeling this dread except Haruto, blinking at who this Itachi and Sasuke were. Ruby feels the same. But the group has mixed feelings to even… help Naruto with Sasuke especially with the Black Moon crisis. Even Usagi feels very uneasy to help that guy for those reasons too.
''… Good luck with that-'' Ed begins to say, not planning to be part of finding that Emo that nearly killed them but before he can another familiar voice starts complaining madly. ''Get your hands off me already!''
They look up as a Naruto clone arrives, dragging Kurosaki in his Shinigami form. Ichigo has this face of fury as this idiot just showed up and actually dragged him out of his home to come here.
''You dragged Kurosaki into this?!'' Alicia questions almost shocked Naruto did that! Haruto looks up and utters out. ''He's not the only one.''
The group blinks as more Naruto clones land, carrying Sonic, Shadow, Danny and even a furious Kaiba who punches the clone and he pops instantly with the real Naruto feeling the punch. Jonouchi sweat drops, even though he swings and can tank punches; Kaiba is probably more aggressive than him.
''Yo guys!'' Sonic expresses with a salute as the clones poof away. Danny sweat drops, falling for the obvious ''bad guy and they need DP'' trick. "Naruto is a silver tongue master."
''You're kidding me!'' Jonouchi yells, just shocked that Naruto did this.
''Please guys! I…'' Naruto begins to plead to them, seeing their looks of dismay and he instantly bows down to them, asking from the bottom of his heart. ''I NEED YOUR STRENGTH!''
Everyone watches as Naruto gets on his knees, asking them from the bottom of his heart. ''I want… I need to bring back Sasuke. And if we have to confront Itachi, then it's another way! Please! I can't… I can't do it alone.''
Naruto admits he can't reach Sasuke without help. He needs his friends to help him or he'll fail, again.
Yugi looks down at him saddened and that's when Ichigo, also sad for him, asks for the tricolor head. ''Yugi-kun, we should help him Nya.''
He eyes the red cherry head as she groans, not a fan to help someone who doesn't want help but Naruto will never forgive himself if he can't bring back his friend home.
''I don't like Sasuke-Baka… but he and Naruto are friends. They have an odd-ball of a bond but it is real.'' Ichigo begins to say, looking at Yugi and she adds. ''Just like you are with everyone else and you with Kojan.''
''…'' Yugi stares at her silently, hesitating to admit she's not wrong but concerned as his last attempts with Kojan didn't do anything. Still, he has no idea of the full story and there might be one person who will tell him the story: Itachi Uchiha.
''I do need to confront Itachi-kun about his lie and the truth behind the changes to Kojan-kun.'' Yugi says, knowing that is his only key to the truth. And then he adds, wanting to know about his hunch on the man too. ''Plus I need to also confirm something about Itachi-kun too.''
Ichigo smiles, glad that causes him to react. Yugi faces Naruto and walks up to him, kneeling down and pulling him up; thinking how Atem did the same to him.
''Begging isn't going to bring Sasuke-kun back home.'' Yugi tells the spiky blond head with a strong, positive smile as accepts his request. ''I'm with you, Naruto-kun!''
Naruto lifts up his head and can't help but smile happily. Ichigo sighs, going to regret but they should help him.
''Damn it to…'' Ed is about to curse out of frustration but grunts and then yells out. ''FINE! Fine. Let's help this idiot.''
Judai nods smiling. The others sigh, forced to go along with Ruby expressing happily. ''YEA! NEW TRAINING!''
''If this Sasuke is Naruto's hope, it wouldn't hurt in finding her.'' Haruto proclaims, understanding a bit why Naruto is doing this.
''Well if magician-'' Naruto begins to say, nodding with his arms crossed, until he staggers and the others erupt in shouts. ''HER?!''
Haruto blinks as Naruto tries to explain himself, freaking out in panic. ''W-what?! No-no-no! Sasuke is-''
''I'm not going.'' The conversation is interrupted by Kaiba, not interested in helping the spiky blond idiot or helping the Emo. He further states it. ''You can't make me because I don't care about the idiot's Emo girlfriend.''
The others sweat drop with Ed wishing he's that aggressive.
Naruto hums, thinking about it and gets an idea, grinning. He forms a hand seal and shouts. ''HAREM TECHNIQUE!''
He's consumed into smoke as are his clones. Yugi soon panics as emerging from smoke are nude, female versions of Naruto, surrounding an irritated Kaiba. Everyone nearly falls backwards with Alicia silent and Usagi dropping her jaw with widened eyes. Ruby just blinks awe with Ryan covering his eyes, wishing his first nude woman wasn't a friend who GENDERBEND out of nowhere. Haruto now starts to wonder if this is the real Naruto, a girl, for his obsession to save this friend.
''Oh please help us, Kaiba-sama~.'' One of the many female Naruto pleads to him, groping her nude body onto him while others taunt him playfully, feeling his chest. ''Such a strong body you have~''
''So manly~.'' Another female Naruto says giggling, winking at the beyond furious Kaiba.
The others try to not stare though it still hurts them.
''My eyes…'' Edward mutters, rubbing his eyes with his gloved palms with Jonouchi screaming, grinding his face on the ground while nosebleeding. ''THEY ARE ON FIRE, GOD DAMN IT!''
Ichigo starts whining on why her life gets weirder. Kurosaki feels the same thing, covering his eyes.
Immediately, Kaiba assaults the female Naruto with clean, swift punches and kicks, smacking them as he shouts of disgust. ''Freak! Gender bending is for weaklings!''
Yugi sweat drops at that comment since everyone has a right for well… It should be happy with magic rather than faking it with a getup or surgery.
The female Narutos, their eyes twirling, all vanish away till the real male Naruto remains. He gets up, grunting, as he announces with both hands together and fingers sticking together. ''One Thousand Years of Death?''
Kaiba, silently, activates his Duel Disk and summons Blue-Eyes White Dragon, roaring viciously at the terrified spiky blond headed.
''H-Help…'' Naruto utters out for help. Sighing, Yugi steps up and asks his rival. ''Kaiba-kun, I'm asking for a favor.''
Kaiba turns irritated towards Yugi, deactivating his Duel Disk, as he tells him off coldly. ''Forget it!''
Yugi hums, figuring as much as he then says almost pretending that's not a big deal. ''Well chances are Kojan-kun might learn of this and go to confront Itachi-kun too.''
Kaiba gazes coldly at the tricolor head as he adds with a small smirk. ''And you don't like people who enter your tournament to ruin it, right?''
Yugi is bluffing, partly… kinda hoping he does run into Kojan. No harm if it does come true.
The CEO grunts enraged, hating how right he is. Plus he isn't going to tolerate how that man got in the way against that man who said was his father or how Yugi is obsessed with him like he's a rival. Yugi only needs one rival and that is Seto freaking Kaiba, no exceptions!
Scoffing calmly, Kaiba replies with his arms crossed. ''… Fine, but I'm doing it for revenge and what that man wants with you!''
Yugi sweat drops, hoping Kojan isn't the- he might be which worries him more.
Kaiba tabs on his collar neck, speaking directly to it. ''Isono, helicopter now!''
Naruto grins happy with Ed muttering out. ''I really hate today now.''
Danny nods, yawning deeply.
Unaware of the group, Kojan watches them with a cold gaze as he prepares to follow them. For once, stalking them until Itachi or his brother make a move will lure the Akatsuki to the open… and then to make things right.
Also observing the group stealthily, a Dark Dragon Scout watches them closely. It is another variant of a Dark Dragon Hunter, more towards stealth and assassination. But this one's job is to watch and soon it leaves to inform Dark General Knight of this as ordered.
And also watching, a Garganta opens up and only the green eyes of Ulquiorra can be seen before the portal closes up.
Inside Equalord Enterprise, Akumu is enjoying a nice cup of wine after his meeting with his chairmen. It's always a delight to fire one of his chairmen who failed in their jobs or abused his position.
He stares at Evangeline, drinking on yummy red wine too. She's now wearing a sexy, one piece black dress with blue lining across the ends, middle and curves of the outfit. It is also an open front puffy skirt dress with white see-through laces. The front skirt is revealing, showing Evangeline's sexy thigh legs but also her blue thong. The dress also has black, see-through fabric across the middle portion of her chest, showing her inner breast cleavage. She also wears a pair of elegant, black see-through fingerless princess gloves with blue lining on the arm ends and hand fronts of the gloves. She wears a pair of elegant black, high heels, exposing the front of her feet and chained by the ankles with silver cross for each shoe. She wears a blue-black neck choker with a silver chained cross on the center. She also wears cross-shaped earrings. Her long fingernails are polished in blue now as well as wearing blue eyeshadow over her eyes and blue lipstick across her lips.
Evangeline feels her true, older body, unable to help but grin how sexy she feels wearing these clothes. She needed a new look after the years trapped in a little girl's body and now she's a woman like she deserves.
Akumu can't help but grin to see that the woman he's fallen over is so much more beautiful then he desired. He admires her figure, her sexiness, and most of all her happiness as she's still admiring her body.
''How are you enjoying your new body, Eva-chan?'' He asks her with Evangeline gladly replying, joyfully. ''It's otherworldly, Akumu.''
Evangeline twirls around, still staring at her reflection and expresses with a firm face, looking back at Akumu. ''Do you know how tormenting it is, never aging no matter how badly you wish to feel like you're not trapped in a child's body as long as I have?''
Akumu hums, not so familiar about it but he can relate with the nearly 20 years he's been locked up in that dimensional prison.
''In a way but it wouldn't compare to yours.'' He tells her, capable of understanding her suffering. Evangeline smiles at his honesty. She approaches him, sitting on his thigh to Akumu's amazement.
''I feel so much powerful too, I mean in the sense that I am a woman.'' Evangeline begins to express, relaxing as her legs crossed and rubbing her bottom onto his leg. ''It's like I have this carving of more.''
Akumu oddly smirks as he grips his hands on her thighs. He turns her around, facing him as he taunts her playfully. ''And you get to experience everything a woman will ever need.''
Evangeline grins, actually pressing her own chest onto his out of excitement. He grins back as he can finally have more fun with-
''My lord!'' The Dark Lord makes an irritated face as he and Evangeline turn their heads to see Dark General Knight appearing before them. He sees the two in their positions and coughs, embarrassed he ruined their moment. He bows, expressing himself. ''My apologies but your scout has reported in.''
Akumu actually wants to know as Evangeline gets off him, also curious.
''And?'' The two ask, curious. Dark General Knight nods as he informs them. ''Team Dragon Knight is heading to Konoha as we speak.''
Akumu oddly smirks as he says with a smirk. ''Excellent.''
Walking up beside the dark general, Arkham, holding his book, begins to question him. ''What is your plan, Dark Lord? I'm rather curious.''
''Same.'' Evangeline also asks, looking at Akumu. The Dark Lord smirks as he answers them. ''Simple… I want to learn who this third Dragon Knight is.''
''And this is how?'' Arkham questions him again, not protesting the idea. Akumu nods as he explains. ''Eva's detail of this person helped me realize this unknown Dragon Knight is an Uchiha…''
He soon makes a firm face, revealing to them. ''And that makes the total of Uchihas alive as 4. Meaning this Uchiha wants to go after one of the two responsible for the death of their clan.'' Akumu
Arkham hums, even more interesting. He's aware of the Uchiha and their limitless potential… though he's now puzzled, questioning out loud. ''4? I thought there that was 2 up till this Dragon Knight appeared.''
Dark General Knight scoffs as Akumu explains to him. ''There are 4… for now.''
''So you're luring this other Dragon Knight out by using the others of his family then?'' Evangeline questions his plan, oddly impressed. Akumu nods but he has one thing to do.
''But before I can-'' He begins to say, striking a smirk. ''I have to meet the Akatsuki and ''offer'' my services, not telling them of my true motives.''
Dark General Knight nods, liking that plan.
''That and I promised Sasuke where his brother was so he can kill him.'' Akumu then admits, having made the boy what he desired. ''I'm a man of my word.''
The dark general nods, respecting his lord for his decisions.
Adjusting his suit, Akumu proclaims confidently with a smirk. ''I'll be back soon. This shouldn't take me long.''
He then orders the dark knight. ''My general, continue scouting the brat and his friends.''
''Of course, my Lord.'' Dark General Knight responds, accepting the duties placed on him. Akumu smirks as he prepares to leave until Evangeline asks him with a smile. ''Akumu, mind if I tag along?''
He blinks at her request and he can't help but smile.
''I don't mind it one bit, Eva-chan.'' Akumu responds as he doesn't mind her company, not one bit. Evangeline smirks, actually happy being used than to be a pretty face. Then again, she knows Akumu values her more than the pretty face.
Evangeline eyes the second and third-in-command, asking them with a soft grin. ''Please behave yourselves. And play nice.''
Dark General Knight bows to her, going to do such a thing. Evangeline giggles as she and the Dark Lord leave as he forms a portal that they went inside.
The dark general now looks at Arkham and tells him. ''She was referring to you.''
Arkham simply chuckles, resuming his reading.
The two would arrive at a run-down village, raining almost endlessly. Manifesting an umbrella with her magic, Evangeline uses it to shelter herself and Akumu. They stare at the massive towards and large size of this broken down village.
"A village torn by war…'' Evangeline says, looking upon the village. She's seen many things and that includes many wars that humanity is stupid enough to get them involved.
''Very right…'' Akumu praises her knowledge as he then informs her. ''Though this raining village is protected by a so-called God.''
Evangeline hums, actually curious by that God part. Just a saying or what.
The two advance inside the village to the emptiest part of it and then the rain stops. This surprises Evangeline, commenting. ''It stopped raining all of a sudden. Interesting, like some kind of detection-''
''What is your business here?'' Her words are interrupted as the two turn around and look up, seeing paper floating over them and a figure flying over them with angel wings made out of paper.
The woman has short, straight lavender hair with a bun and amber colored eyes with lavender eyeshadow, and a labret piercing on the bottom of her mouth. She has a large light blue paper flower clipped on her bun as well as the Akatsuki getup.
Akumu can't help but grin at the sight of this. Even Evangeline giggles, immediately taunting the paper angel woman. ''Oh look at this, a paper angel. How adorable!''
''You make origami doves?'' Akumu asks with a smirk. Frowning, the woman waves his hand and suddenly thousands of paper sheets attack and wrap themselves across Akumu's body, covering him up in a paper-like humanoid cocoon.
''I take that as a yes.'' Evangeline says, rather unimpressed.
''You don't belong here, demon.'' The woman threatens Akumu, squeezing him tighter in her paper. However the cocoon of paper suddenly erupted in flames, burning away as Akumu has transformed into the demonic Dark Leader Dragon, roaring loudly. Evangeline smirks, not once worrying about a trap so simple could hold Akumu in there forever.
''I don't have time to speak to the underling of the leader of Akatsuki!'' The Dark Lord proclaims furiously. The woman gazes as she summons more paper, thrusting them like Shurikens but the Dark Lord burns them with his intense flames. He then flies right up at her, roaring as he swings his claw engulfed in his black flames.
"Bansho Tenin!'' A male voice suddenly speaks as the woman is then pulled away quickly from the Dark Lord, his claw hitting where she was. The black dragon growls softly, looking down and sees the woman literally being pulled away by the telekinesis of another.
It is a medium length spiky orange hair man, possessing the Rinnegan. He has borne six piercings, a metal bar through each ear, three studs through the side of its upper nose, and one spike stud on each end of the bottom lip. He also has three piercings on each wrist, at least one on its upper wrist and some just under his neck. Other than his Akatsuki outfit, the man's face bore no telling expression, almost like he's dead… which he is, sort of.
The Dark Lord hums with such humor, wondering when he would show up.
''I was wondering when you would show up.'' The Dark Lord begins to say, forming a smirk. ''So-called God.''
Pain narrows his eyes seriously towards the black dragon, always expecting he would one day confront the devil.
The Dark Lord prepares to face the so-called incarnation of the Sage of the Six Paths. How will this turn out?
Commercial Break:
Jonouchi: You know Momomiya, even though things turn out bad for you; I respect you for always helping your friends out… but why Naruto?
Ichigo sighs: I am just way too kind Nya… just way too kind Nya.
Yugi and friends are on board in Kaiba's new KC Helicopter with the rocket thrusters, taking them quickly to Konoha within 30 minutes. Most still can't believe they're doing this but they have no choice to oppose the idea. They will follow Yugi, willingly to try to help their friend.
"I can't believe I'm doing this again.'' Ed mutters out, still complaining about this. Ichigo agrees with him but she does point out. "At least Naruto-kun's clones are packing though.''
Naruto offered, before they left, to have his Shadow Clones finish packing up and Ichigo gladly accepted. She sighs, somewhat relief to not work on that.
Danny drinks the whole bottle of soda, going to need a lot of focus. He stretches, hoping they don't get shot down like last-
But before he can say anything, the helicopter begins to descend to everyone's surprise. They check from the windows as they arrive at the front gates of Konoha.
''We're here already?'' Kurosaki questions with Sonic whistling, somewhat impressed but he would have gotten here much quicker.
The aircraft lands as the group walks out from the plane. They are soon greeted by a few of the many Konoha Shinobis.
''Yo.'' Kakashi greets the group with a salute. Yugi smiles, saluting him back. ''Hi again, Kakashi-kun!''
Kakashi just smiles underneath his mask with Yamato, sweat dropping, asks him. ''Why does he have to call you like that, Senpai?''
''Just force of habit, Yamato-kun!'' Yugi answers him carefree with Yamato sweat dropping again.
''Naruto told you then.'' Tsunade, with her arms crossed, asks the tricolor head of this mission. Yugi eyes her and responds determinedly. ''We're going to help our friend and so I can talk to Itachi-kun again.''
Kakashi startles as does the other ninjas, wondering why Yugi wishes to speak to that murderous man about.
''Heh, you're a soft type of kid.'' Yugi blinks, turning to stare at Jiraiya approaching him. The Sannin smirks at how insanely head determined he is much like another man he knew.
''You remind me a lot of your father. A hero for the sense of doing what's right, even if he was reckless.'' Jiraiya comments on Yugi's blushing, asking him. ''You must have known a lot about my father then.''
Jiraiya shakes his head as he informs him, pointing his thumb finger over his back. ''Not so much. That would be my student who knew him more.''
Yugi blinks looking up to the Hokage Mountain and sees the carved face of the Fourth Hokage.
''The Fourth…'' The tricolor head mutters, wondering what kind of man that Hokage was. He blushes, wanting to know more about his family and the allies they've made. Maybe one-
Yugi suddenly blinks, squinting his eyes to look at the mountain face and can't help but he's seen him before.
''Huh?'' He begins to mutter out, realizing something. He looks back at Jiraiya and asks him. ''Do you have a picture of him, the Fourth?''
This staggers Jiraiya and even Tsunade. He questions the young man rather nervously. ''W-why?''
Yugi hums not so sure but he explains it to him. ''He looks a lot like Naruto-kun.''
This causes panic to both Sannin, not expecting him to realize that.
''Hey, Danny-kun.'' Yugi begins to call out to Danny who walks up to him blinking. ''You think he looks like Naruto?''
Yugi points towards the mountain heads as Danny looks at the mountain, still shocked how Konoha ripped off Mount Rushmore.
''The spiky haired Mount Rushmore Statue guy?'' Danny asks, looking at the statue and begins squinting his eyes, starting to realize this guy is rather familiar. He hums, beginning to mutter out. ''Well… if he was blond and had blue eyes then-''
''OKAY-OKAY.'' Jiraiya stops the two from saying anything else. He looks at Naruto, very oblivious to what is happening. Sighing, the toad sage looks at Yugi and asks him. ''I'll tell you later.''
Yugi nods, smiling with Danny sighing, not minding it.
Naruto now turns, eyeing the perverted sage and asks him. ''Ero-Sannin, you coming too?''
As much as Jiraiya would want, he has to locate and stop the Akatsuki for good. He just tells the spiky blond head. ''Sorry but I got to do an errand.''
Naruto oddly frowns, wanting him to come along like the old times. Jiraiya just laughs at this kindly and tells him. ''Hey kid, cheer up! I do owe you one.''
''You better!'' Naruto tells him off, acting all Tsundere. The others sweat drops as Kakashi says he's waiting for the rest of the 8 man ninja squad and that would be Team Kurenai, being the best trackers for this mission. Naruto greets the group… except Shion who forgot his name. Yugi and most of the others, however, did remember his name to the bug ninja not expressing tears of joy.
''Ichigo-san!'' Hinata, nervously, begins greeting the red cherry head. She was worried for her after previously but to the Hyuuga's relief, Ichigo replies cheerfully. ''Oh Hinata-chan, hey Nya!''
Hinata blinks, blushing as Ichigo apologizes to her from before. ''I owe you an apology from back then.''
''N-No. I understand.'' Hinata replies, just glad she's cheerful again. Ichigo giggles as she recalls during that ghost invasion that Hinata tried to use simply medical skills to help those injured. This gave Ichigo an idea to tell her a few tips she learned of Medjutsu.
''Are we ready then?'' Naruto asks, really jumpy as he's wrapped around in the white cloak for the journey as was all of the ninja. Tsunade nods firmly, trusting they will do fine.
''Let's go Naruto!'' Sakura tells him confidently… or well tries to show it, actually unease to find Sasuke again. Sai looks at them, hoping to make it up for his past mistake.
''Okay so how will the rest of us be able to keep up with you guys?'' Ryan asks, not wanting to slow them down. The others feel the same unlike Sonic and Shadow, able to run crazy fast while Kurosaki and Danny can keep up along with Yugi and Ichigo. Luckily Haruto doesn't feel like it as he slides his right hand over his belt.
''CONNECT, PLEASE!'' The voice of the Wizardriver chants as a magical portal manifests. He then shoves his hand into it and pulls out the Machinewinger motorbike. He sits on it, putting on his helmet and informs the group. ''One person backseat. Who wants it?''
Jonouchi immediately tries to take that seat but Ed kicks him only for Usagi to tackle him. Alicia sweat drops as she suggests to the wizard. ''I got a lance and shield to carry. This helps for surprise attacks.''
''Like the sound of that.'' Haruto responds, sweat dropping too at how off putting the others are about wanting a lift.
Jonouchi grunts angrily with Ed sighing, suggesting about taking the helicopter. ''Well guess we can take-''
Immediately they hear different engines coming from the helicopter as its back opens up and thrusting out of it is a motorbike that Kaiba is driving on. Ruby gasps astonished. She tries to ask him how that fits in the helicopter but Kaiba tells everyone off firmly. ''I'm not going to let this helicopter get taken out from the sky like the other ones. Also no back seaters.''
The others sweat drop until they hear whistles. They turn worrying towards Sonic, breaking dancing to warm up his speed. They gulp, not going to enjoy this.
After bidding their farewells, Team Kakashi and Team Kurenai head out with Team Dragon Knight, doing their best to keep up with the group. Ichigo sighs, grateful for having on a hoodie as a small amount of rain starts dropping.
Yugi looks ahead, wondering if he will confront Kojan again. There's no doubt he will and this will be his chance to learn the truth and help his friend.
''Kojan-kun, I won't stop until I can help you. So please…'' Yugi begins to say, hoping he will meet him and figure things out.
The whole group are unaware that Kojan is following them from the shadows, his aura suppressed so Yugi can't detect him. Kojan watches them from afar, going to use them to get close to where Itachi is… and achieve his goal. Though this was always the plan to follow Konoha… not Yugi still thinking he can be a Dragon Knight. The idiot.
''Asking your sister didn't stop you…'' Kojan tells himself, upset that speaking to Jenny didn't work. He glares, so intensified that his Sharingan eyes activate in response. Why? Why can't he see the risk? If he won't accept, then he will make him regret it.
''Then I will make you regret your decision to remain a knight.'' The Uchiha vows, going to make sure Yugi realizes this and stops this path he's on before it's too late for him.
Evangeline hums, watching as Dark Leader Dragon descends from the sky, not letting go of his sight on the strange man and his bizarre circle pattern eyes. She hums finding the eyes the most unique.
''So we've finally meet, Dark Lord.'' Pain begins to speak up, his Rinnegan eyes gazing with such a cold stare towards the black dragon. The Dark Lord, crossing his dragon arms, grins evilly as he taunts him. ''And you're the leader of the Akatsuki, Pain.''
Pain still looks at him. The woman, Konan, looks at her leader and frowns, apologizing. ''Forgive me, Pain. I-''
''You would likely die by this devil's claws or fangs, Konan.'' Pain tells her, aware how powerful the demon is.
Konan simply bows, not wishing to become a burden. Pain simply nods as he gazes with such a look of superiority towards the black dragon, calling him out. ''You wish to bring destruction to my home then I will show you no mercy. You will experience divine judgment.''
The Dark Lord simply cracks a monstrous grin, replying back to his challenge. ''Come then.''
''I've already have.'' The voice of Pain responds from behind him to the Dark Lord's shock. He tries turning and immediately an explosion consumes him. He's then thrusted away by an energy beam, blasting him through multiple large pipes and walls.
Pain follows with the other figure following him.
Evangeline hums not bothering to help as she's suddenly attacked by the paper shuriken that freezes in solid ice, dropping hard on the ground.
''You wish to not help your lord.'' Konan questions the woman, once more floating in the air. Evangeline eyes her with a look of confusion before cracking a smirk.
''My lord?'' She asks her before she lets out soft giggles, correcting her. ''Please, he doesn't need my help.''
The vampire mage soon grins softly, still wanting to test her powers and this would be a good chance to do it.
''But don't hesitate to spar with me. I wish to have fun with my new body more.'' Evangeline taunts the woman, grinning with excitement as she tosses away her umbrella.
Konan frowns as she unleashes a storm of paper at her and Evangeline smirks, responding with fewer magical arrows.
Crashing in the other side, the Dark Lord stands up, not so upset even with his right arm completely destroyed by the surprise attack. He looks up to see Pain standing over something and he isn't alone. The dragon staggers a bit to see more than 1 Pain, 6 in total. Each one looks different with the one blown up, his arm is bald while the others all have the same bright orange hair and each one also has ripple-pattern circle eyes spread and overlapping each other as well as black piercings across their body.
''Now you will experience pain.'' The main Pain announces with his arms spread on his sides almost like a God, raising them.
Dark Leader Dragon looks at them and can't help but smirk unimpressed.
''My, 6 against 1 seem unfair.'' He taunts the so-called God with Pain looking down at him and replies. ''Against the devil, I will not take such risk.''
''Good response… However.'' The Dark Lord answers back with a grin. He then changes into a scowl and lets out a vicious, wrathful roar. Darkness surrounds him as his dragon claw regrows, extending its claws as he grows his two extra heads.
''RRRAAAWWRRR!'' The three-headed dragon lets out powerful roars, shaking the environment and buildings around them. The six Pains stand their ground, bracing the force the black dragon is releasing.
Calming down, the Dark Lord announces through his 3 heads. ''NOW IT IS 3 VS 6!''
Dark Leader Dragon immediately dashes upward to the sky right towards Pain, thrusting his right claw at the main Pain. The other Pains stand there as the main one lifts up his right hand slowly and as the black dragon swings his claw at him, he's suddenly pushed backwards by an invisible force, slamming him back on the ground.
As he lands, the bald Pain grins as he moves his arms forward and transforms them into massive machine guns. He begins firing shots down at the black dragon who guards with his wings. The bullets couldn't pierce through the Dark Lord's wings as another Pain shouts, slamming his right hand on the ground. ''SUMMONING TECHNIQUE!''
As this Pain summons something in large smoke, two other Pains try to attack the Dark Lord on both sides. Both try to reach out and grab him but the Dark Lord twirls and he smacks them aside with his tail just as he's suddenly wrapped around by an invisible tongue, belonging to a chameleon with a pair of large Rinnegan eyes.
The Dark Lord roars, breaking free and slashing the tongue off. Then a large, crazy dog pounces at Dark Leader Dragon who breathes Tri Black Flame Inferno, burning the creature with all 3 heads. The massive dog tries to multiple but the dragon burns each copy as they burn into ashes.
One of the Pains, much more chubby, comes charging at the black dragon as he turns and breathes his flames at him. However, due to the creatures still looking at the dragon, that Pain stops on his tracks almost beforehand and raises his hands. The flames are then blocked by an invisible barrier but in fact it is absorbing the flames. The Dark Lord staggers, questioning himself. ''He can absorb my flames.''
Another Pain who is much thinner attacks the distracted demon dragon by the back, kicking him and then grabs onto his chest. The black dragon startles as the Pain literally begins ripping off his soul out of his body. This shocks the Dark Lord who erupts in roars. ''YOU DARE RIP OFF MY SOUL!''
Dark Leader Dragon roars as darkness erupts from his soul, repelling Pain's ability to rip off the soul. This shocks him, uttering out in thought. ''He resisted that!''
The Dark Lord roars so powerfully that it pushes the Pain off him but also destroys his body in a torrent of mouth flames. The Dark Lord's soul returns back to his chest to his relief. The chubbier Pain tries to leap at him to absorb him head on but as he touches him, the Dark Lord erupts his body in Black Flame Armor, burning that Pain instantly. He screams as the dragon slashes him in two.
Dragon Leader Dragon roars as he turns, locking aim at the other Pains and begins to shout, gathering flames from his mouths.
''TRI BLACK FLAME-'' The black dragon begins to shout until the dragon is pulled towards the main Pain to his shock. ''W-what?!''
The main Pain summons black rods out of his sleeves and thrusts them at the black dragon as soon as he's in range. However, the rod melts instantly by the intense black flames surrounding him. The Dark Lord grins as he starts to shout excitedly. ''NOW YOU'RE-''
Pain immediately extends his hand forward towards the black dragon and shouts with a piercing, menacing gaze. ''Shinra Tensei.''
Suddenly the Dark Lord is thrusted by such intense force, seemingly going to rip him apart but the dragon resists, roaring out loudly as he thrusts his right claw forward. ''DARKNESS GRAVITY!''
His claw releases a dark gravity downward push, countering the invisible force to Pain's shock.
''W-what is this?'' Pain questions annoyed, pushing more force into his Shinra Tensei but the Dark Lord grins, pushing back with his own. The bald Pain gets behind the Dark Lord's back, manifests twin bladed forearms to slash him except its smack across the face by the dragon's tail, sending him away. Eventually both forces are repelled by the other, canceling each other.
The Dark Lord grins about to finish this until something grabs onto him. He turns and widens his eyes to see it is the Pain that he burned alive and now absorbing his energy. The dragon, however, releases intense dark energy that it starts to inflate the Pain and POP. An explosion of blood stains the ground and most of the Dark Lord who burns the stains off his body and loincloth.
The main Pain watches firm yet horrified as the Dark Lord proclaims confidently. ''You did well but this game is over.''
He raises his right claw, engulfed in the same darkness almost making that claw sharper and deadlier. The demon dragon roars as he flies right at Pain, shouting. ''DARKNESS CLAW!''
The bald Pain intercepts with multiple missiles but the Dark Lord cuts through him, destroying him as he still comes charging at the main Pain.
Pain watches as he has enough to unleash his Shinra Tensei until the Dark Lord dashes so quickly he's already up close to him. That Pain widens his eyes as the black dragon roars and swings his claw at him… until Pain is suddenly sucked up and vanishes to the Dark Lord's surprise.
''Had your fun yet?'' The Dark Lord turns his head to see the one who sucked up Pain, the one in the spiral orange mask. The masked man looks at the dragon, telling him firmly as he threatens him with his Sharingan eye from the eye hole of his mask. ''I'd advise you to not leave a scratch on my ally, Dark Lord.''
The Dark Lord looks at him, standing up straight as his claw reverts back to normal and his head vanishes away.
''Madara…'' Dark Leader Dragon begins to say but immediately takes it back in thought. ''Or the one pretending to be Madara Uchiha.''
He's met the real Madara, a man who finds true pleasure through battle and makes any to have fear but the strong to get a boiling sensation to win. The Dark Lord scoffs as he still plays along, wanting to know what this imposter wants. ''Just the man I wanted to meet. We have a lot to speak.''
The masked man Madara doesn't answer him as he begins teleporting Pain out of wherever he sucked him in. Pain remains calm as all of his Pain including the three he killed fully recovered and alive, surround him. The main Pain looks up ahead to see Konan being tortured by Evangeline's ice magic. Konan has a face of fear as Evangeline is turning her into an angelic ice sculpture. Konan gasps in agony, most of her cloak torn off revealing her midriff robe-like shirt.
''Tell your woman to stop freezing up Konan.'' Pain orders the Dark Lord who scoffs again with an irritated face. He turns towards Evangeline and asks her while he grins. ''Eva-chan, enough!''
Evangeline sighs, just having fun but accepts it. She stops and lets the purple haired woman unthaw, muttering disappointed. ''As you wish.''
She flies down to join the Dark Lord as Dark Leader Dragon explains his reasons for being here with a smug smirk. ''I came to offer my claw and help you. After all, the only reason I never allied with you people is because of Orochimaru.''
Pain glares at the dragon… though admittedly, this grudge they've had was due to Orochimaru. The Dark Lord then gazes at the masked man, also having another reason towards this pretender.
Madara crosses his arms as he too openly admits. ''To be truthful, I feel our goals can coexist, Dark Lord.''
Pain isn't at all convinced, questioning the demon. ''Why should I accept your ''help''?''
Smirking, the Dark Lord then taunts him with a grin. ''I believe you lost more Akatsuki members. Seems hard to capture more Tailed Beasts.''
Pain glares, not wishing to admit that the loss of his members have made their hunt for the remaining Tailed Beasts even more problematic.
The Dark Lord, as his wings folded around him to resemble a cloak, is fully aware that the Akatsuki is just missing a few more Tailed Beasts but with fewer members; it decreases their chances to capture their last remaining targets.
''I can bring them back. And unlike Orochimaru, they won't be zombies.'' The Dark Lord reveals to them with a grin.
Pain glares at him not believing his lies but Madara chuckles.
''Oh? Most kind of you…'' Madara begins to expresses before he questions the black dragon with a dark, firm tone. ''What is your aim?''
Evangeline stares at the orange masked man, now certain who this other Uchiha is and this man isn't a fool to Akumu's real plans.
Scoffing that he won't get away from lying to him, the Dark Lord begins to tell them partly. "Konoha is planning to capture Itachi and it seems a certain group is going after him too… And Konoha has gotten Team Dragon Knight to assist them.''
Madara hums, figuring as much. Pain looks down at the suggestion to hear that name, the Dragon Knight, that this dragon thinks he's a threat to them.
''Some children cannot-'' Pain begins to protest but the Dark Lord interrupts. ''Children yes, but the Dragon Knight will prove your demise if you underestimate his ability. He's hard to kill, trust me.''
The black dragon then grins as he taunts the so-called God. ''Also imagine the information they can get out of a few remaining Akatsuki members.''
Pain glares about to protest again but Madara chuckles very humorously.
''You got us there.'' Madara expresses as his shoulders shrug. The Dark Lord smirks as he says about his reasons for doing this. ''All I want is us to join forces…''
He then adds almost in a threat. ''And also don't cross or get in the way of Sasuke Uchiha. Nothing else.''
Pain looks at him puzzled by this threat while Madara scoffs, gladly accepting the terms.
''Very well.'' Madara accepts to Pain's surprise as he questions him. ''What do you say, Pain?''
Pain has no saying to object to him, nodding.
''I will allow it…'' Pain agrees but states firmly. ''But I will deal with this Dragon Knight personally.''
Madara hums as he can tell Pain is certain to deal with the child. Dark Leader Dragon just cracks a smirk, saying almost amused. ''Be my guest and do allow me to help you with that…''
As the dragon forms a grin and teases him. ''Because someone plans to visit you, oh Kami.''
''What do you mean?'' Pain questions him, already annoyed by his games. The Dark Lord smirks as he utters out a name. ''Jiraiya the Gallant.''
This staggers Konan, standing behind Pain who looks for a small second taken back but briefly. He always knew this day would come.
''… Very well.'' Pain ultimately says. The Dark Lord smirks as he offers his services. ''Allow me to use my power to help you in ''testing'' the Dragon Knight so you can face the Sannin later.''
''… As you want.'' Pain says, accepting his help if it means he will deal with that mortal… and then confront his master. Evangeline smirks impressed how well Akumu can con others.
Madara cracks a chuckle as he announces. ''Then let us rejoice of our alliance.''
The Dark Lord smirks in agreement as he says. ''Then I wish to have a small private chat then, Madara.''
Madara looks at the dragon and nods. He orders the two beside him. ''A moment alone, Pain, Konan.''
Pain simply nods as he and Konan, hesitant, leave by vanishing away. Now alone with his guests, Madara questions the black dragon with his arms crossed. ''What do you really want, Dark Lord?''
Evangeline eyes Dark Leader Dragon who answers the masked man with a growl. ''Sasuke Uchiha, faker.''
''Oh?'' Madara utters out, not at all surprised the demonic dragon is aware of this. He reaches his hand over his face and pulls off his mask, removing it. The Dark Lord scoffs, also not surprised that this man isn't Madara… but he does seem to recall him from somewhere.
''Oh?'' Evangeline, eyeing the strange man with half his face damaged and those same strange red eyes with 3 dots from that other one had. ''Seems on board then.''
The Dark Lord nods as he questions him. ''I've met you before, haven't I?''
Cracking a smirk, the man simply answers with a cold expression, speaking with his real voice. ''I am nobody now. I merely use the name of Madara for the real Madara's will. Nothing else.''
''Hahahaha!'' The Dark Lord starts laughing, not in a mockery way but to express his somewhat excitement that Madara, the real Madara Uchiha, was behind all of this. He smirks as he says. ''So Madara did survive. Most excellent!''
Immediately the black dragon forms a scowl, threatening the one before him. ''Don't plan to cross me.''
The man smirks as he tells him confidently. ''Only when I feel there is no point for this alliance to last.''
The Dark Lord looks at him and smirks, accepting. ''Fair.''
The man nods as he puts on his orange mask and reminds the Dark Lord, now speaking with Madara's voice. ''I won't inform Pain of your plan for Sasuke to kill his brother.''
The demonic dragon doesn't say a word about it. Madara chuckles as he turns around and begins walking away. The dragon looks at his back and soon recalls something, smirking.
''Now I remember… One of the Fourth's students.'' The Dark Lord calls out. This instantly causes Madara to stop walking, turning halfway towards the dragon man as he adds in a taunt. ''Obito, wasn't it?''
Not answering, the masked man simply says with an annoyed tone. ''Like I said, I am nobody but to carry on the will of Madara.''
He turns his back, vowing to the Dark Lord coldly. ''Any that crosses me will die and be freed of this damn reality.''
The Dark Lord actually smirks at his threat, praising him. ''I like you now.''
''Happy meeting you.'' Evangeline taunts the masked man, really curious about him. Madara doesn't answer as he's swallowed up and vanishes out of thin air.
Now just the two of them, Evangeline eyes the Dark Lord as he reverts back to his human form.
''Will he be a problem?'' She asks Akumu who adjusts his tie and answers her. ''Not right now.''
He turns towards her and says eagerly. ''But now we watch the show, Eva-chan.''
Evangeline actually giggles, looking forward to this. Akumu is indeed the most fun to hang out with.
Akumu forms a portal and the two walk inside, going to look forward to this little game.
Marching towards the location the Dark Lord gave him, Sasuke with Team Hebi, the Houndour walking beside him and even Selvaria, curious to meet this Itachi and see Sasuke's resolve, follow right behind him.
Sasuke has waited too long, desiring nothing more but to kill Itachi once and for all and this is his chance. After so long, this is it.
''I will find you and end your illusion soon, Itachi.'' Sasuke vows to himself, heading off to his destiny.
Paths will now intertwine but how will things turn out.

Author's Note: Just a simple chapter as a real setup for this arc and then some.
No one asked me this before so I will mention it. Some techniques that Yugi and even the Dark Lord have used are based on an existing move. Like the Dragonaun Geyser, the upgrade of the Dragonaun Knuckle is based on Terry Bogard's Power Geyser and the Dragonaun Sword/Burning is based on Silent Swordsman and Silent Magician's signature attacks. The Darkness Claw is based on Master Gundam's Darkness Finger. Neat huh?
SO SPOILER TO- Like who hasn't finished Naruto? Well spoiler, Tobi is Madara but it's really Obito Uchiha! Yea… I actually like Obito. I like his beginning, his core… his descend. BUT WHAT ABOUT RIN- LOOK. He was a child soldier, had no parents, his clan didn't care for him and the only person that brightened his life was Rin. Like he had no one else, how do you think he became manipulated and molded by the real Madara who made all of this possible. BECAUSE RIN WAS KILLED IN FRONT OF HIS EYE. He lost the only person that gave him light and thus like all Uchiha, his love became hatred and darkness. It was perfect. Though there is 1 problem and it's not direct to Obito but Naruto. ''He's the greatest guy ever'' line I will talk about one day, just not today.
Anyway, next time will be interesting.

SO I said this week no DKR but I uploaded it. Let me explain.
I was going to take my third Vaccine for the virus but my grandma chicken out due to a feeling. I would go alone, but my grandma also needs to take it... SO YEA, this sucks. So no DKR next week... UNLESS otherwise. My grandma chickens out a lot... so hopefully next week yes. I want to take this stupid third vaccine and be done AND NO, I will not take the fourth one. That's a overkill. No thanks.
