Hello to all! This is Episode 55 of the arc: The Pursuit!
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 5: Episode 55: Attack of the Akatsuki Part 1!
In the previous episode of DKR:
Yugi and friends were helping Ichigo pack her stuff from her home since her family was forced to move out. It still saddened her but she has to be strong. Just then Naruto arrived in a hurry, begging everyone for their help as he got a lead on Sasuke who is going after Itachi. Everyone debated on this since they were still recovering from last time, especially how Naruto dragged everyone else too to help him. After Ichigo convinced him and reminded him Kojan might get involved, Yugi accepted to help his friend. The others were forced to help Naruto too, even Kaiba who was willingly to come to deal with that Kojan for ruining his KC Cup too.
Unaware of the group, the Dark Lord had been watching and had been waiting for them to make their move. Now with Evangeline, the two went to meet the leader of the Akatsuki, Pain. They confronted God's Angel and the other Akatsuki, Konan, with ease as the demon dragon dealt with the Six Paths of Pain. The Dark Lord managed to overpower the Rinnegan and nearly killed Pain till the real leader of the Akatsuki, the masked man going by Madara Uchiha, appeared. Hearing the Dark Lord out of his offer to help them to form an alliance, Madara accepted as did Pain unhappy. The Dark Lord smirked as he soon told Madara or the one pretending to be him of his plan for Sasuke to kill Itachi for his own reasons. The masked man, Obito, allowed it to have similar goals too.
Arriving at Konoha, Team Dragon Knight with Team Kakashi and Team Kurenai led by Kakashi headed off to find either Sasuke or Itachi with Kojan following them in secret and Sasuke with Team Hebi heading out. Soon their paths will cross!
What will happen next?

Arriving inside a hidden cave, both Deidara and Tobi make contact with the rest of the Akatsuki through a Holographic Transmitting Jutsu.
''Yo, sorry I'm late hmm.'' Deidara responds as he looks at the remaining members before gazing towards Itachi who is not even looking back at him. Deidara scoffs as he asks their leader. ''What's today's meeting, boss?''
Pain looks at his members with Konan beside him and reveals to them. "We will go after and deal with the Dragon Knight and his comrades.''
This surprises the members though not fazed Itachi, seemingly.
''OH~! Awesome!'' Tobi expresses joyfully. Deidara actually smirks, looking forward to capturing the Kyuubi and getting even with those brats.
''Good hmm! I want payback!'' He says, actually going to show them the terror of his art.
''However…'' Pain then begins to announce.
''Do not engage anyone else though.''
''And what if we come across the Kyuubi?'' Kisame asks with a grin on his face. Tobi gasps as he points out. ''OH yea! That kid is part of that group of youth!''
Deidara sweat drops at that line. Pain looks at them and informs them. ''For now, ignore the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki.''
He then points out the warning the Dark Lord gave him. ''Also keep an alert of Sasuke Uchiha and his team in the area. They are unimportant and not a threat.''
''Oh? Itachi's little brother?'' Kisame says in a taunt, turning to eye his silent partner. Deidara scoffs at that. He walks out, leaving the conversation. Tobi panics and leaves too.
''Itachi.'' Pain calls out to the quiet Uchiha. ''A word.''
Itachi eyes Kisame who smirks and vanishes. Now just them; Itachi responds. ''Yes, leader?''
''Your brother is coming after you. I was ''ordered'' to not inform the rest of the Akatsuki.'' Pain informs him of the target.
Itachi already has his suspicions though his attitude doesn't shift in the slightest. He simply responds. ''Understand but my partner will figure it out.''
''Kisame is fine.'' Pain says, allowing it since Kisame can be trusted.
''Anything else?'' Itachi asks him. Pain shakes his head, excusing him. ''That is all. You may go.''
Itachi doesn't say another word as he vanishes. The Jutsu is undone as Pain gazes upon his home of the Rain Village.
''Is this a good idea, Pain?'' Konan questions this decision, not liking that their remaining members will be put in danger, even the living ones. She doesn't like how Madara is willingly to go through with this.
Pain, however, doesn't question this. This will lead to peace, replying to her. ''It's what he says is a must, Konan.''
Konan simply frowns, obeying him. She will trust Nagato more than anyone else.
Alone within one of many Akatsuki hidden bases, the Dark Lord kept his promise and revived nearly all of the dead Akatsuki… except Orochimaru… because.
It is a very awkward moment as the three revived are mostly taken back… somewhat.
Each one is the ones that died not long ago, wearing their Akatsuki cloaks.
The Red Sand, Sasori, is amazed he is within his favorite puppet.
Hidan has medium-length gray hair that was slicked back and distinctive purple eyes. He wears the cloak with no shirt and slightly open, revealing his Yugakure forehead protector around his neck and Jashin amulet. He also wears gray pants with matching shinobi sandals. He wields a scythe that has three blades, each blade smaller from top to bottom. The scythe is attached to a long metal cable, wound around two spools on Hidan's left hip.
Kakuzu is a very tall, tan-skinned muscular man with long dark-brown hair. His eyes had an unusual coloring: green irises, no pupils and red sclera. He wears a black colored mask covering his lower face, revealing only his eyes. He wears a gray hood which covers his hair and gray pants with matching shinobi sandals.
''Goddamn it! You died too Kakuzu?'' Hidan expresses with a smirk, not thinking his greedy, non-religious immortal partner actually died. Kakuzu groans with his mockery and calls him out. ''At least I didn't fall for an obvious trap, moron.''
This enrages Hidan who shouts at him annoyed. ''See, you haven't changed! I was hoping Jashin-sama made you suffer in Hell.''
Kakuzu scoffs; also surprised that he's still worshiping his so-called ''God''. He turns to eye Sasori and questions him. ''What of you, Sasori?''
Sasori isn't sure what to feel, also shocked that he's back wearing his puppet, Hiruko, as if it is good as new. That shouldn't be possible or his own existence. Only one being can do this.
''This is his working alright, the Dark Lord.'' Sasori reveals to Kakuzu scoffs, figuring as much too. That dragon is indeed capable of such a thing. At the least it was him, not Orochimaru.
''Welcome back to the living.'' The three turn to see Pain walking out from the darkness.
''Yo boss, long time!'' Hidan says, waving his hand gripping on his scythe. Pain doesn't respond as he eyes Sasori and confirms to him. ''Indeed you are right, Sasori. The Dark Lord has allied himself with us.''
''About time. When will we get the millions he offered?'' Kakuzu asks as he crosses his arms, wanting to know about the pay. Originally, it was his plan to recruit the Dark Lord as a benefactor for the Akatsuki but due to Orochimaru screwing him over and well, their business ended.
''After this mission, likely.'' Pain affirms to him as he then informs them. ''I have not told the rest of the Akatsuki of your resurrections.''
Sasori smirks, looking forward to seeing that idiot Deidara's expression that he has returned. He honestly missed their bickering about what is real art.
''They will be told but for now…'' Pain begins to tell them as his Rinnegan eyes gazes coldly towards them, almost inhuman as he shows them photos of Team Dragon Knight. ''Proceed in dealing with those children.''
The three look at them with Hidan immediately asking. ''Can we kill them?''
''You may.'' Pain responds, allowing it. This excited Hidan, shouting out of excitement as he jumped. ''YAHOO! Jashin-sama will be pleased!''
Kakuzu scoffs not caring about that but the mission and payment. Sasori cares even less going to at least warm up his artist talent.
''Scatter.'' Pain orders as the three vanish, heading into their battlefield.
Walking alone, Sasuke is searching for Itachi while wearing a white-ish cloak. He has ordered the rest of Team Hebi to search for Itachi as well and if they do locate him or find an Akatsuki member, inform the rest immediately. Though, Houndour is following him loyally… and also the woman.
''Splitting up was a good idea?'' Selvaria questions Sasuke's plan who scoffs and tells her. ''To find Itachi here, it will.''
The Valkyria doesn't reply, figuring as much. Sasuke is somewhat annoyed, wondering why she's willingly to follow him or go through with the idea that Dark Leader Dragon is helping him. The rest of his team have so why not her.
''Why aren't you questioning me if the Dark Lord is lying to me?'' Sasuke, for once chatty, asks her. Selvaria eyes him and simply tells him. ''I've met him already. He seems honest.''
If not for him, she would likely have been found by Gallia or worse. She owes that man that much… and what he told her long ago too.
''Then why are you following me?'' Sasuke now questions her reasons for pursuing him. Selvaria simply closes her eyes, able to tell this man is a loner, wishing to do things on his terms. It reminds her of Maximilian… and makes her concerned that in his path for revenge, he will become him.
''If you wish that I split up, very well.'' She says, lying as she will keep an eye on him when he really needs the help. She takes a turn and starts walking alone. Houndour whines, liking her company.
Sasuke watches her leave and sighs, telling her. ''Watch your back if you confront Itachi. Don't look directly at his eyes and attack with cautious.''
Oddly smiling for her wellbeing, Selvaria responds with her red eyes open. ''I will.''
The two seemingly part ways as Sasuke moves forward.
Looking over the seemingly large location they are staring upon, Yugi and the others along with Naruto and his two groups look upon the horizon. Ichigo groans, already more than panicking that this will take all day to find anyone they're going after.
''HUFF… HUFF…'' Ichigo sweat drops, turning to see the heavy breathing of Jonouchi, bent down by his hands on his knees. She sighs looking up ahead towards the large village and asks, sounding concerned. ''So this is the place Nya?''
The others look just as anxious; this place is massive to search for Sasuke. Sonic doesn't care as he can-
BLEH!
The group turns and sweat drops to see Jonouchi throwing up massively. Ruby's cheeks inflate, feeling gross out and turning green. She turns around quickly, throwing up in a bush. Ryan gulps as does Danny, feeling really grossed out too.
''I feel DAMN sick…'' Jonouchi yells out, hating that stupid hedgehog's speed before he throws up again. Judai nods chuckling, getting that same feeling too but he's gotten used to it.
''You're welcome!'' Sonic tells him with a grin and thumbs up. Jonouchi groans before he throws up once more to the others' unease.
''Y-You okay?'' Kiba asks Shion, not showing it but he is disgusted by the vomit. Kaiba scoffs at how pathetic that loser is sometimes.
''Yugi, just… find emo guy with your…'' Jonouchi tries telling his best friend before he's cut off by almost throwing up again and finishes his words, gagging. ''Aura ability trick!''
Yugi sweat drops as he answers him smiling. ''Good point, Jonouchi-kun.''
Looking up ahead, Yugi begins to focus and soon forms a frown, unable to sense anything. In fact it isn't the case that he can't sense anything; he can't. It's like something within this city is blocking her ability to read auras.
''Sorry, no good.'' The tricolor head heads with an irritated, worrying expression. ''Something is blocking my senses. It's weird.''
Yugi does have a bad feeling who might be blocking his aura and it isn't Sasuke; Dark Leader Dragon. He might be behind this which only makes things worse.
Kakashi sighs, crossing his arms as he proclaims, going with the plan they had. ''Then we'll try the original plan.''
Ichigo blinks eyeing the group, thinking carefully what this plan is. She kinda wished that she brought along Skitty to get two cat noses but both she and Yugi agreed to leave Skitty and Riolu with Jenny in case they come across something like the Dark Lord. They should have come but… Honestly, there is something off about this whole thing that it is for the best they stay behind.
She looks at the others and begins thinking. Naruto has clones, Sakura can't do much to search, Sai has his ink creations and Yamato can do clones too but the other three are a different story.
Understanding Kakashi's plan, the cherry red haired girl snaps her fingers and proclaims with her right index finger lifted up. ''Right! Doggy-san can sniff out that piece of clothing belonging to Sasuke-Baka, bug guy Shion can use his bugs to search in different ways and Hinata-chan can use her Byakugan to see people from long distances Nya!''
Kakashi is actually surprised with Yugi chuckles of awesomeness and Usagi grinning. Hinata blushes with Kiba, protesting angrily. ''HOW THE HELL DOES SHE KNOWS HINATA'S ABILITY AND NAME, EVEN SHION AND NOT MINES.''
The others sweat drop as that should be the least of his worries for how quick Ichigo analyzed something so smart. Jonouchi immediately protests, upset. ''She doesn't even know the Pharaoh's name.''
''Yup Nya!'' Ichigo expresses happily, not minding to disagree with him. Yugi sweat drops with Atem, floating in spirit form, sighs heavily.
''How hard is remembering a name?'' Ed asks, puzzled by Momomiya's nature. Ichigo, again, agrees with him as she says with a smile. ''As hard as Engrish!''
''English.'' Danny corrects her with a sweat drop. Haruto nods as he then asks Ichigo, sounding a bit worried. ''Wait, so you can't say Wizard?''
Ichigo makes a stunned expression, blushing bright red.
''Eh…'' The red cherry head begins to utter, sweat dropping as she tries to sound it out with her bad English. ''Xizarrda?''
Haruto is silent by her mispronunciation of his rider name, like he's been gut punched.
''… Changing topic.'' Alicia pleads, not wanting this to be more awkward. Naruto nods rapidly as he also declares. "Plus you guys got me, ya know! And I'll find Sasuke with numbers! Shadow Clone Technique!''
He crosses his fingers and creates a few dozen Shadow Clones. Yugi nods, liking that as he begins to say. ''Well guess we'll split up and-''
''What does this Sasuke look like?'' Ruby then speaks up, really curious what Sasuke looks like. Judai has her exact answer as he pulls out his cellphone, enters its gallery folder and holds up the phone to Ryan, Ruby and Haruto. They look from their view to see the image of Sasuke.
''OH…'' Ruby and Ryan both utter out with Haruto sweat dropping, really puzzled as he asks. ''I thought he was a girl.''
This causes Sakura to freak out, immediately protesting loudly with wide, white eyes with a panicking face. ''S-SASUKE-KUN IS A BOY! A VERY HANDSOME-''
She soon stops herself, sweat dropping that she said too much.
Haruto hums, turns to face Naruto and asks him. ''So you and Sasuke are what?''
Immediately, Naruto panics too, who starts yelling out in protest with the same wide, white eyes. ''W-WHAT?! NO! I WAS TRYING TO TELL YOU THAT LAST TIME!''
Haruto brushes off his outburst as he creates his Familiars as the Garuda, Unicorn and Kraken move out rapidly.
"Just checking.'' He says, though he still questions why Naruto is this determined to get this friend back. It's almost ridiculous like he's bound to his fate.
''Now I don't get why he's so obsessed to save this Sasuke.'' Ryan then asks, really confused about that part. Ed just shrugs his shoulders, expressing. ''None of us do honestly.''
''YOU DON'T GET IT, YA KNOW!'' Naruto barks annoyed, uttering out like an idiot with a big mouth. ''He's my rival and someone more than a friend! We even kiss and-''
Immediately Naruto has a stun expression, sweating heavily as he just realizes his mistake. Everyone else unaware of that information all begins to look unease, not sure how to react. Yugi whistles awkwardly with Ichigo turning around with a face palm, not sure how to defend this idiot this time.
''… Well, I think the best way to understand is Naruto views Sasuke as someone he can relate, almost like a brother.'' Judai points out, smiling. He views Sho like a younger brother and Johan as a kindred spirit.
Haruto starts to get it himself… but in a different way, thinking of Koyomi. Still, Sasuke being a girl does make MORE sense the more he thinks about it… or Naruto. That kiss part… geez.
''Well let's see if he understands him back.'' Alicia points out, not looking forward to this. Usagi agrees as she shouts. ''Let's move out!''
The other Shinobis sweat drop, sometimes wondering if those kids are in their own little world. Regardless, they do head out in groups.
As the group scatters and begins their deep search, Dark General Knight watches below them in the middle of the air, hidden behind a cloud with only his piercing, glowing red eyes shown. Everything is going as planned as he speaks out loud to his master. ''My lord, the Dragon Knight and his comrades are here.''
Akumu, sitting in his throne back in Tokyo, is staring at the groups in different energy screens. He smirks evilly as he orders his general. ''Watch from a distance for now, my general. Let the Akatsuki have their ''chance'' against them.''
Dark General Knight obeys with a firm nod, responding. ''As you command, my lord.''
Akumu cracks a smirk, watching the groups splitting up. Evangeline sits on his lap, sipping on his cup of wine as she lies next to him. She grins, telling him most excitedly. ''This should be fun, Akumu.''
''Oh it will be Eva-chan.'' Akumu confirms to her as they'll get to witness an interesting show playout. Evangeline agrees as her eyes gazes towards Ichigo, wanting to see that power again.
Flying on the back of his clay bird, Deidara is extremely silent with Tobi sticking his legs on the edge of the clay bird. The masked man lets out a few hums, getting his sensei's attention but nothing. He then pokes his back as he asks ''Are we there yet'' to Deidara's irritation. If not that he needs Tobi, he would throw him off his bird.
''Guess we're going after that Dragon Knight or one of his buddies?'' Tobi finally asks him, really curious what they're doing as he gasps, realizing who they're going after. ''OH! Are we going after the Kyuubi kid, Deidara-senpai?''
Deidara, as much as he would want that, shakes his head and finally responds. ''No…''
Just thinking of Itachi pisses the so-called artist, and most of all the Sharingan. And much like Itachi, his younger brother has those eyes that mock his art. He won't tolerate it. He might not be allowed or able to kill Itachi, but his brother is a different story regardless what their leader tells them to do.
''We're going after Itachi's brother.'' Deidara informs him of Tobi's gasping shock. He then utters out, panicking. ''HUH?! Why?!''
''It's personal hmm!'' Deidara simply says, already more than convinced of this. Tobi calms down before he answers in a cheerful tone. ''Sure thing Senpai!''
Deidara scoffs, looking up ahead. Tobi still looks at his back and tries not to chuckle, activating his Sharingan eye through his eye mask. Pretending to be his ''master'' is one thing but Obito did enjoy tricking this idiot of who he was by acting like an idiot. Still, it was a matter of time that he would discard this ''disguise'' but it does amuse him that it is Deidara who will open the doors for him. Ironic, his hatred towards the Sharingan will be his downfall.
''It's your funeral, Deidara.'' Obito tells himself with an ominous yet delighted voice as he adds. ''At the least, try to show how strong you are over an Uchiha… somewhat.''

Jonouchi: OKAY… So I don't know where we have to search first.
Ichigo: Guess we'll just guess it Nya! *she deeply sighs*
Having split up into their own group, Ed, Usagi, Ryan and Haruto are looking for Sasuke. Usagi hums, really wondering why Sasuke hates his brother. Maybe she can see him straight? Well… if they find him.
They've been walking for a while now and their search has been unsuccessful. They knew this would be hard… but it doesn't help that their search area is this large.
Ryan looks around, kinda wishing he has his limo around or cameras to get a favor from someone who owes him and use that to trace Sasuke. Instead it's a massive hide-and-seek game.
"It's like we're looking for a nail in…'' Ryan begins to point out with Usagi interrupting, shouting out loudly that her voice echoes across their zone. ''THIS SUPER-DUPER HUGE AREA!''
Ed groans, trying his hardest to not complain even though it would be SO much easier if he did.
Ryan taps Ed's shoulder who turns around to face him and asks him. ''Do we even have a plan if we do find Naruto's mate?''
Ed hums… and since he's met him a few times and the last time he nearly killed everyone due to Usagi's stupid magic crystal rock's powers… yea brute force.
''My advice: Knock him out by force.'' Edward suggests it as the only means to stop Sasuke. Ryan just blinks and says, somewhat agreeing with him. "Good to know?''
As they travel, Ed hears something but before he can confirm what it is, something leaps above them as the figure shouts. ''YAHOO!''
They look up and see it is Hidan, coming down as he shouts with a crazy grin, swinging his scythe at them. ''DIE!''
Ed quickly turns, clapping his hands and slams them. He transmutes the ground to form a pillar-like wall, blocking the scythe blades. Hidan just smirks as Kakuzu appears and slams his fist onto the pillar, shattering through it.
''AHH?!'' This shocks everyone as Hidan resumes his scythe swing but Haruto slides his right ringed-hand and the Wizardriver announces. ''DEFEND, PLEASE!''
A red magical barrier manifests and causes Hidan to back away fast.
''W-what gives?!'' Ed shouts angrily. Leaning his scythe onto his shoulder, Hidan greets the group of children. ''Yo! You people are ninja too?!''
Usagi gulps with Ryan replies. ''Well we're not but-''
''My apologies.'' Kakuzu interrupts as he explains himself. ''We wanted to kill you silently but this imbecile-''
This pisses Hidan off as he shouts at him. ''YO! I WAS IN PIECES IN THAT DITCH THAT ASS PUT ME IN, KAKUZU!''
Kakuzu looks at him for a moment before correcting himself, facing the group. ''Then you're a reckless imbecile.''
This only further irritates Hidan, shouting as he stomps his foot on the ground. ''N-not the goddamn point!''
The group looks at them, not sure how to feel about these strangers.
''Um who are you guys?'' Usagi asks politely, though shaken. Hidan looks at them and immediately lets out a laugh, mocking them. ''Man, you dumbasses. Can't you tell from our cloaks?''
''… A band?'' Ryan asks curiously. Usagi hums and gasps, figuring out with a finger snap. ''OH! They would be part of a gang!''
Ryan nods in agreement while Ed and Haruto just look at them with stunned expressions.
Annoyed by them, Hidan shouts furiously. ''THE AKATSUKI, MORONS!''
This alarms Ryan and Usagi, panicking, with Edward questioning how one is a lawyer and the other is a reincarnated princess.
''I am Jashin-sama's humble servant, Hidan. And this guy here is a greedy fool, Kakuzu, that will be the greatest tribute for-'' Hidan begins to introduce them in a sinister yet relaxed way until Kakuzu bashes him away and reminds him. ''Enough imbecile. We have a job to do.''
''Right-right.'' Hidan agrees with him, clinching his grip on his scythe.
''… So you two are ninjas then?'' Usagi then asks, wanting to be sure. Ryan now sweat drops as that is a given.
''That we are like you.'' Kakuzu tells her but Haruto answers by sliding on the driver ring and slides it over the belt buckle of his belt.
''DRIVER ON!'' The Wizardriver announces, transforming as Haruto flips the levers, now chanting. ''SHABADOOBIE, TOUCH TO HENSHIN!''
''Sorry, I'm a wizard. Henshin!'' Haruto answers as he waves his left ringed hand over his belt and shines as it announces. ''FLAME, PLEASE!''
He raises his left hand forward as the same magical red barrier forms and moves towards him as the belt chants. ''HI-HI, HI-HI-HI!''
The barrier overlaps his body and transforms Haruto into Kamen Rider Wizard. Hidan is taken back while Kakuzu hums, rather interested.
''Guess we don't have a choice but to deal with these guys.'' Edward says, wishing to avoid a fight they don't need to be involved but well they don't have a choice. Ryan doesn't care as he'll fight against those who suppressed the weak.
''We'll stand and fight against the villains as comrades!'' Ryan proclaims, pulling out his Dragon Sword and holds it with both hands against the enemy. Ed sighs as he says, somewhat agreed. ''Sure-sure.''
''If they're the bad guys then I'll fight too.'' Usagi then speaks up, going to do her best to fight too. She soon shouts as her brooch shines. ''Moon Cosmic Power, Make-Up!''
The Cosmic Heart Compact shines, transforming Usagi into Sailor Moon as he declares, striking her signature pose. ''In the name of the Moon, I will punish you!''
''It's Showtime.'' Wizard adds, lifting his left hand as he flaps the bottom coattail of his coat with his other hand.
Kakuzu scoffs, not caring in the slightest while Hidan grins, really eager for this.
Alicia and Judai walk together; both sweat dropping as they look at the corner to see Shadow away from them but following them. It has been a silent, awkward walk but it isn't a surprise.
''You know-'' Wanting this to stop as she turns her head, Alicia tries to reach out to him but Shadow protests, perfectly fine with this. ''I'm fine.''
''He likes being the loner.'' Judai points out, getting his reasons as he's done that too. Alicia gazes at him with a look of ''Not helping'' as she tells the black hedgehog. ''You know, we don't mind you getting close.''
''Unnecessary.'' Shadow just says, still keeping his distances. Alicia sighs as she suggests. ''Then we can talk about other stuff like what you like?''
''Forget it.'' Shadow once more protests. Alicia groans as she still tries. ''How about-''
''No.'' Shadow protests again. Alicia groans again, clenching her hand frustrated until a thought pops in and she asks him. ''Well let me talk about my love for baking.''
Scoffing, Shadow just responds. ''Knock yourself out.''
Alicia soon smiles as this will make him open up.
Judai sweat drops but lets it… especially since he's sensed someone is watching them. He gazes for a moment to where he can feel that presence. He doesn't say anything, actually curious how long will the guy handle Alicia's favorite thing in the whole world?
Alicia begins talking nearly 20 minutes straight; details in how she first fell in love with it, her first baked bread, her first burned baking, her most successful times and all the number of stuff she wishes to bake. She's even debating about trying cookies but with a few twists. She also expresses how happy she is baking like the whole world is silent and she is God, about to create life.
Judai hums, really enjoying all she's saying like how he enjoys talking about dueling. Shadow, with his eyes closed, actually listens but not acknowledging her attempts to make him ''be one with the group''.
''And that's why I get a rush in baking! It is like-'' Alicia continues expressing her joy in baking until, unable to listen to any more of this, a voice shouts. ''Enough!''
This causes Alicia to become alarmed as the group stops. Shadow opens up his eyes and turns to the side, wondering how long their assailant would follow them undetected.
Emerging from the shadow is Sasori within his puppet.
''You talk too much like Deidara.'' Sasori states, really EXTREMELY annoyed by the non-stop chatter about an ''art'' that is mediocre at best.
The group faces the strange being with Alicia questioning unease. ''What or who is that?''
Judai is curious too but Yubel warns him, glaring at this being. ''Judai, careful. This one is dangerous.''
''Guess he is.'' Judai says, seeing the black cloak with red clouds. He has no doubt who this guy belongs to, asking him. ''You're an Akatsuki then?''
''Oh? A smart one among your group.'' Sasori begins praising Judai as he reveals himself. ''I am Sasori of the Red Sand.''
Shooting out from behind is a massive scorpion-like sharp bladed tail as Sasori tells them. ''You should feel honor to witness my revived art.''
''I doubt it.'' Shadow speaks up, gazing at the puppet man with a firm gaze.
Alicia gulps, always wondering why they have to fight these kinds of creative weirdos. She really does miss the simplicity of facing an army of normal humans. Oh well.
Kurosaki and Sonic- Oh, Ichigo hated this. The guy- hedgehog zooms around impatiently like a damn child in a sugar rush. Not even Yuzu is this impatient. Plus annoying as heck.
''Can't be with Rose, or Alicia or even Momomiya. It has to be-'' Kurosaki begins to complain as he turns his head and he widens his eyes, watching Sonic suddenly eating a chili dog in the palm of his right hand. He face-palms himself, asking the blue furball. ''Goddamn it. Is that-''
Sonic faces him and utters out, interrupting him. ''Oh yea, want me to grab you-''
''No-no, I'm good.'' Kurosaki immediately and politely refuses to get one of those. Though, can he eat with his human body? God, he doesn't even want to know.
Sonic quickly chews up the chili dog, licking off his fingers as he tells the carrot top Shinigami. ''You gotta lighten up, Carrot Top. I mean we all got one life and it's up to us to live it in its fullest, right?''
Ichigo just squints his eyes… and actually can't help but agree with this hot dog eating hedgehog's words.
''I supposed.'' He says in agreement. Sonic just grins as he tells him. ''Exactly! I mean seriously, bet you never-''
''Oh, don't even say I haven't been in crazy adventures because I have!'' Kurosaki interrupts him, nearly snapping at the idea that he hasn't been in crazy parts of his life. He can name just the Soul Society part of saving Rukia from an unfair and manipulated execution as crazy enough.
''Fair enough.'' Sonic says, pretty relaxed about being told wrong. Ichigo just squints his eyes again before he asks him. ''Do you always see the bright side of things?''
Sonic just grins, replying carefree. ''It wouldn't be an adventure if I don't.''
Kurosaki rolls his eyes, not wanting to admit he's right. However their conversation would end as a burst of water shoots out in front of them. This shocks Ichigo as Sonic dashes in front; running around in a circle to manifest his Blue Tornado and suck up the water. However, a figure dashes towards the occupied Sonic from the very water with a sword swing, only to be blocked by Ichigo and Zangetsu. Sonic stops and looks at the one attacking them, smirking as it's that fish man from before.
''Well-well, look at my luck.'' Kisame expresses with a small smirk, backing away from the two. Ichigo just makes a dumbstruck face; pretty sure that guy has pale blue skin and fish features but still looks pretty much human.
''Speaking of…'' Sonic begins to say, stretching his legs excitedly before calling out to the man. ''Fish guy, we meet again!''
Kisame just smirks as he isn't alone as Itachi watches behind him. Ichigo spots him and utters out in shock. ''That's Itachi then. He does look like that guy.''
Itachi ignores his statement, eyeing the two and not seeing Yugi present.
''The Dragon Knight isn't among you.'' He says the obvious, wishing to speak to him. He eyes Kisame and orders him calmly. ''Kisame, do you mind dealing with them.''
Kisame just smirks, replying rather energetically. ''I was hoping you would let me. Have fun too, Itachi.''
Itachi doesn't comment as he vanishes. Kurosaki grunts as Sonic says with a smirk. ''Guess we're fighting this guy first.''
The blue hedgehog then elbow hit Kurosaki on his side, telling him with a wink. ''We'll share.''
Ichigo sweat drops as he just says, holding up his Zanpakuto. ''Just try to take yourself serious, just a bit.''
Sonic just smirks, the two facing Kisame as a team.
Yugi and Ichigo, even Kaiba who grunts, are with Naruto's group. The couple looks at Hinata trying to talk to him kindly, making up a chat. Ichigo giggles, having told Hinata a few things (among telling her that she should learn how to perform Medjutsu) like flirting with Naruto. Hinata panicked about it but she went with the idea.
Hinata, shyly, struggles to flirt with Naruto who just smiles friendly.
Ichigo giggles, leaning to Yugi's ear, and whispers to him. ''Those two make a cute pair Nya.''
Yugi makes a face with Ichigo sweat dropping, almost reading his thoughts and says, still whispering. ''If he notices since he is clueless idiot and his obsession for Sakura-chan too.''
''And Sasuke-kun's too.'' Ichigo whispers back with a slight giggle. Yugi giggles back in agreement. The two start giggling, getting Naruto's attention. He turns his head and asks them really obliviously. ''What are you guys talking about?''
''Nothing!'' The two shout out, grinning in sync. Naruto blinks and grins back. Kaiba looks at them with a look of disgust, just uttering out of frustration. ''I hate this already. How damn long?''
Naruto isn't sure as he replies. ''We'll likely come across Sasuke or one of his teammates eventually so we got time to-''
But before he can continue, Yugi's senses trigger greatly. He looks around and notices Yamato also looking around so he asks him. ''You sense it too, Yamato-kun?''
Yamato nods, confirming to him. ''Someone is watching us.''
Hinata listens to them and uses the Byakugan, spotting someone in the shadows.
''Over there!'' Hinata points as the rest of the group stare in that direction and Naruto calls him out. ''Come out! Show yourself coward!''
A figure begins to move from within the shadows and walks forward; revealing himself to be a hooded figure but half his face is shown. This shocks nearly everyone with Naruto uttering out. ''You're-''
''It's been a while, Naruto-kun.'' The figure proclaims to be Kabuto. Ichigo immediately utters out in surprise. ''It's the four eyes from before Nya!''
''Kabuto.'' Yamato mutters out, not expecting they would cross paths with him of all places.
Kabuto begins chuckling as he looks at the people before, not recognizing one but nonetheless perfect.
''My, I am truly lucky. I never expected I would cross paths with you.'' Kabuto begins to say, seemingly saying it to Naruto before the half of his horizontal hidden face. His stare moves towards and stops towards Ichigo, resuming his words. ''But I am grateful for I wish to show you what I learned from you, Ichigo Momomiya.''
Ichigo blinks, not following while having a bad feeling.
Jonouchi, Danny and Ruby walk among the forest and find themselves in an open space with the rest of the forest circling around this piece of paradise. It is very peaceful, like nothing bad or dangerous will happen here.
Jonouchi breathes deeply of fresh air with Danny pointing out the obvious. ''This is very peaceful huh?''
Ruby nods in agreement though she learned a battlefield can change quickly. Jonouchi doesn't think so as he expresses. ''Yea. Pretty sure we won't come across anyone that would-''
''Dour!'' The three blink as they look ahead and see a Houndour emerging from the woods. The dog-like creature looks at the humans and barks happily.
''AW!'' Rose expresses joyfully as she adds happily. ''Cute puppy!''
''Wonder if it lives here.'' Danny questions as Rose approaches to pet the dog but it runs back to a figure. Jonouchi's face slowly becomes one of dread as his eyes gaze upon Sasuke emerging from the trees.
''No! NO-NO-NO-NO! NNNOOOO!'' Jonouchi screams of absolute horror, expressing such dread that the one place this Emo wouldn't show up BUT HERE HE IS!
''Just our luck, I guess.'' Danny says, trying to find some humor but Jonouchi just glares at him.
Houndour barks, rubbing herself on Sasuke's leg as he looks at the 3 and recognizes two of them. He scoffs, not surprised at this point.
''You people huh?'' The young Uchiha begins to say as he begins to conclude a theory of them here. ''Let me guess, Konoha knows Itachi is here and Naruto is going to get in my way again.''
Danny makes a face, actually amazed for a guy who wants to kill his brother to have such intelligence.
''Look Emo-'' Jonouchi tries to tell off the Uchiha only for Sasuke to correct him with an irritated gaze. ''Sasuke Uchiha or else my dog will burn you.''
''Dour!'' Houndour barks, his eyes glowing sinisterly. Jonouchi sweat drops heavily, gulping.
Ruby walks up to Sasuke and introduces himself to him with a smile. ''I'm Ruby Rose! Nice to meet you!''
Sasuke ignores this new cheerful person, already able to tell the type of person she is. Ruby sweat drops, really reminded of Blake by this guy. Are all ninjas related to her?
''Look um, can you just like… get why Naruto is doing this?'' Ruby tries reasoning with him, wanting Naruto's friend to return home since she gets the importance of wanting someone back. ''He just misses his friend.''
Sasuke looks at her, realizing he's wrong about her, somewhat.
''I do understand…'' Slowly form a scowl, Sasuke responds but then proclaims his reasons. ''But he doesn't understand my pain or despair. After all, he never had parents, never had a connection that was lost forever compare to his imagining bonds between him and me.''
''…'' Ruby is silent, narrowing her eyes, reminded of her own mother. Jonouchi, sort of, gets him with how he feels about his sister. He always wants to protect her but if he hadn't met Yugi; his sister would have died long ago.
''I mean… Yugi used all of his power to help my sister too and I owe him that much. That's why his pain is my pain and I will always have his back!'' Jonouchi expresses, thankful for the bonds they have and why he'll always be there for him.
''Unrelated.'' Sasuke just says to Jonouchi's annoyance. Regardless, Sasuke does say. ''Naruto doesn't understand any of that, not even my sorrow or revenge. If you and the Dragon Knight understand that between each other, then you have no place to tell me that but the idiot instead.''
This shocks Jonouchi, actually admitting he's right.
''Well…'' He tries to say but can't think of anything better. Sasuke figures as much as he adds. ''Exactly. The idiot will never understand me; killing Itachi and ending his illusion.''
''… You're wrong.'' Sasuke looks up towards Danny, now staring at him seriously. This surprises the other two with Ruby muttering out. ''Danny?''
Danny looks at Sasuke and just sees a guy about to lose himself in worse hatred. After all, he saw it through Vlad... and his evil future self.
''Revenge isn't going to make things better for you. It'll only make you fall deeper and bitter.'' The young teenager tells him off that his pursuit will only make him worse. He should know; Vlad's hatred towards his father is a living proof.
Sasuke glares annoyed as he tells him off. ''That's why I am avenging my clan, my family against the man who pretended to be my brother.''
''It's still wrong dude! You're willing to kill your brother. Are you really okay with that?'' Danny once more protests, not able to imagine anyone willingly to kill a sibling. Not even Jazz when Vlad set up that death trap or… the other him.
''I am.'' Sasuke just answers him with a look of no hesitation, willingly to kill Itachi no matter what it takes.
Ruby frowns, realizing she's the wrong person to be here… since she doesn't get his pain… or Yang's. She hasn't told the others but she learned a thing she shouldn't have about her big sister and… she isn't sure how to help her. She feels… powerless much like right now.
Danny is about to protest more but Jonouchi realizes this is a losing battle and proclaims. "WELL… Good luck with your brother and your dog, we'll be going-''
''So you're Itachi's brother hmm?'' The group startles as they turn and literally jumping onto the field is Deidara and Tobi. Danny soon panics, remembering that clay bomb guy.
''Who are-'' Sasuke begins to question only for Deidara to look up and widen his eyes as does Jonouchi, both shouting out as they point at the other. ''YOU!''
''AND TOBI TOO!'' Tobi expresses playfully, twirling around. Ruby sweat drops, really confused right now.
The stages are nearly set. Will Team Dragon Knight manage to fight the Akatsuki?
